Have tested #theordinary's lip exfoliating serum, first impression is that this is a lot of product for the money considering the size!💋 I have winter-dry lips and have used this every night as a base under lip balm. It has a pipette that makes it easy to apply a small amount, only a small drop of this is needed✨It dries quickly and forms a thin layer which makes it easy to apply lip balm over! I have been testing #theordinary's Volufiline Plumping serum for a while and am so satisfied! I got to test The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + PhytoCeramides as an influencer and was actually pleasantly surprised by how nice it feels on the skin. What impressed me the most is that it doesn't pill at all, even when I apply a generous amount of product. I see results but hope for more over time!
I received The Ordinary Volufiline 92% + Pal-Isoleucine 1% as an influtester, so it wasn't really something I had actively planned to buy myself from the start. Even though it's something I've been looking at for a couple of years. I became quite curious about it since I previously had issues with volume loss around my eyes after an eyelash serum (X-lash). I completely stopped using eyelash serum back then, two years ago, and slowly got most of my volume back around my eyes, but not quite all. However, I have missed having super long lashes, so I recently started using eyelash serum again (with Leonites) and wanted to be a bit more preventive this time. I've been using it around my eyes for about a month, mainly under the eyes but also a bit in my nasolabial folds. I've been quite consistent even though I've missed a few evenings here and there. So far, I actually think I can notice a slight difference, the area under my eyes looks a bit more plump and doesn't feel as dry as before, my concealer looks nicer. It's not a dramatic result after a month, but enough for me to be curious about how it can develop with longer use. Only sometimes in the winter can I get dry lips for a few days, but nothing extreme. I was still curious to try it, as it might help make my lips look fresher and more vibrant. The product comes in a bottle with a dropper. It has a light and runny consistency, and you only need a very small amount. When you apply it to your lips, it dries down pretty quickly. It causes a feeling of the lips pulling or tightening, and I can feel it all the time – which is what I really don’t like about it. Additionally, I find that it has a quite distinct taste. I’ve tried using it overnight, and the result isn’t bad. But it’s not so good that I would choose this product specifically for dry lips. I would rather use something that feels a bit more pleasant and moisturizing. However, I think it could be useful for someone who has more issues with very dry lips. I use various creams, serums, and other skincare products alternatively. This product comes in a UV-protected glass dropper bottle. It's sufficiently easy to use. It has a consistency that lies between a serum and a facial oil. On the skin, it looks very shiny and gives an instant boost of radiance. I feel a slight tingling sensation when applying it. It doesn't really dry down or become less oily on the skin, so I wouldn't prefer to have it under makeup. When it comes to results, considering I've only used it for three weeks, I don't see any drastic change. I think the most visible thing is the radiance it gives immediately. Of course, if you're consistent, you might see a long-term difference. I have been so lucky to test The Ordinary's Natural Moisturizing Factors + Phytoceramides moisturizer.
