Lovely scrub 🫧
Simply a nice design on the jar, and the first thing that greets you when you open it is a very gentle citrus scent. Reminds me a bit of lemon drops, very nice scent that isn't too strong. The scent doesn't linger especially long after you've applied the product. Haven't had a proper scrub since I last had a professional massage, which was many years ago, so I had completely forgotten how it felt. My skin is dry, especially on my hands and feet. This is a typical sugar scrub, it doesn't feel too intense, even though it scrubs well and effectively. I first tried to use this outside of the shower, and the sugar crystals ended up all over the bathroom. Therefore, I recommend using this in the shower, otherwise the sugar in the scrub ends up everywhere. I used this all over my body, except for my face, even on my tattoos. You can quickly notice the difference on tattoos if the skin has enough moisture or not. After the first scrub, and daily application of moisturizer, my tattoos stay significantly fresher in color than without. My hands feel so incredibly soft after using this, the same with my thighs, wow. My hands are super soft for 3 days after the first time I used it. Good cream
So much fun to try a completely new product. 🤩 The cream has a light and airy consistency. Smells very good and fresh. Not too much, so it doesn't interfere with perfume. Glides on easily, but doesn't absorb very quickly. It takes a while before it fully absorbs. But I usually apply it after my shower in the morning and put on a big bathrobe before/while I do my makeup. So when I'm done with my makeup and have done my hair, the cream has absorbed. But it takes a bit of time. My skin feels very soft and nice. I absolutely feel that it is a good cream. To a certain extent unexpected result
I had the honor of testing the brand new product/fragrance Blossom Souffle Body Cream from #EstelleThild as a #lykoinflutester. The product comes in a classic ”body butter” jar with an orange pastel shade. Expectation: That the cream would be fluffy and smell sweet of flowers. That it would be mild and good on the skin. Result: The first impression when I opened the jar was that it felt like a completely normal body lotion in consistency, in my opinion. The second impression was that it didn’t smell particularly sweet or floral at all, but instead, I got flashbacks to my mom’s blue nivea (in a round tin) that she used when I was little. The scent is not the most important thing about this product since it disappears quickly, but I mention it as it was not the scent I had expected. Mild and good it was on the skin, anyway. I never usually apply lotion right after the shower (even though I probably should), and I prefer that you have to apply for a while for the cream to sink into the skin. If it sinks in too quickly, it usually doesn’t keep me soft. I think my skin stays soft for a long time, and I like it. The scent of blue 90s nivea also gives me, quite honestly, a quality impression. That scent is to cream scents what the suit is to business meetings. Then again, the scents may not be identical exactly. I have sensitive skin and sometimes get irritated by skincare, but I didn’t with this one. It feels mild. Very fun to get to test something that is BRAND NEW! 🤩 Scrub is something I use weekly from before (I use self-tanner, so it’s a regular routine). I must say I’m impressed with the product! The consistency is absolutely lovely. White grainy sugar that exfoliates dead skin cells away. At the same time, you add a lot of moisture through shea butter/oil. The ingredients are organic. As a #lykoinflutester, I had the honor of testing two products from #olehenriksen ✨️ I have tried other products from Ole Henriksen before, but no exfoliation. This test period was shorter than others, so these are my thoughts after using the product about 6 times. The product is supposed to provide a more even skin texture with the help of both acid and scrub. You should massage the product into damp skin, let it work for a couple of minutes, and then rinse off. The grains are small, but they scrub well, which feels a bit tricky. It's hard to be careful with scrubs on the face and rather stick to exfoliation in the form of acids. Dead skin cells, however, disappear well and leave a nice glow! The skin doesn't feel tight afterward. The exfoliation smells like summer! The consistency is cooling and lovely. The tube contains a lot of product and brightens up the bathroom cabinet with its strong color! For my part, I would have preferred if the product was without grains and fragrance-free to be suitable for all skin types, as I would think it might be a bit too intense for sensitive skin. This one sits just as well on the lips. The lips feel hydrated all day even though the color disappears. It doesn't feel sticky either, but more soft and moisturizing, as the product is rich and you don't need much. The color is naturally peach-colored with shimmer that you can't feel, and it smells and tastes fruity. However, I thought the color would be more pink considering the name. I use the transparent one at night and strawberry sorbet during the day. It blends nicely with your own lip color, making it easy to apply on the go! I have combination skin with hormonal breakouts now and then, I often struggle with stubborn pores around my chin and nose. I received this nice product sent home to test and immediately became curious! 👀 For some time now, I have been cautious with physical/mechanical peeling as I have been more of a fan of chemical peeling, and it felt for a while like the whole internet said no to anything that had to do with physical peeling 😆 But many years ago, SkinFoods black sugar scrub was my absolute favorite, so I had my suspicions that a sugar scrub could become a favorite again! This smells fantastic, really a clear mix of citrus and fresh berries! 🥺🍓 2 times a week worked super for me, I used it in the shower and let it work while I washed my hair. I don't have particularly sensitive skin, but I could feel that this one takes a bit, but in the best way! Fresh and Silky Smooth Skin
This scrub has a lovely and sweet scent of strawberries. It feels good on the skin and blends well in contact with water. I think my skin became both softer, smoother, and more radiant. I also really liked how it minimizes the visibility of sebaceous filaments. The only downside is that I experienced my skin feeling a bit dry after use. Super body scrub!
I have to say that I'm not a scrub girl, so I don't have super much to compare with, but I thought it worked really well as a body scrub! The organic sugar grains exfoliate just the right amount – enough for the skin to feel fresh and renewed, but without irritating. The consistency is wonderfully creamy thanks to the shea butter and the nourishing oils, and afterwards the skin feels not only soft, but really hydrated and really smooth. I have extremely sensitive skin and have not reacted to this scrub! The scent is also something extra, a nice balance between freshness and floral notes that gives a calm, luxurious feeling. After use, the skin feels brand new, with a nice glow. I will definitely continue to use it! I have previous experience using their Pout Preserve Peptide Lip Treatment without shimmer in the color «Strawberry Sourbet». This set the stage for me to expect it to be exactly the same, just with a little glitter. But I was wrong. The difference is that this one is a bit more towards orange than pink like the «original». Many describe this color as coral. Added a picture where you can see the difference. The packaging reflects the differences nicely as you can see that the one with shimmer is a bit more orange in the packaging compared to the original. It is soft, easy to squeeze. The cap screws on and is made of hard plastic, so it doesn’t seem like it would break easily if you were to accidentally drop it. Aside from that, most things are very similar. They are a bit sticky in consistency BUT give an incredible shine that stays on the lips and doesn’t disappear. I feel like I only need to apply more after it has been 4 hours or after I have eaten. I’ve been able to test this lip treatment for a while and wow, was I happy! Generous tube with nice packaging that sparkles, just like the color does ✨! I’m a solid lip balm and color on the lips girl and need some type of lip balm in every pocket and bag since I can’t go without it 😆. This was probably among the best I’ve used regarding moisturizing and longevity throughout the day! Lasts for several hours on me and doesn’t feel oily on the lips. It has a Neroli scent - so a bit sweet and fruity 🍊, while also having a floral note. The scent is also just the right intensity! It doesn't smell too weak or too strong. I was also not disappointed when I used the scrub! This scrub has quite coarse grains (which in this case are organic sugar grains), making it a very effective exfoliator. Despite that, the grains are not sharp, and they gently exfoliate the skin while effectively removing impurities and dead skin cells. The scrub also contains nourishing oils that help the skin become both hydrated and super smooth after use! This is probably the best scrub I have ever used! I love the slightly larger sugar grains and how soft & smooth the skin becomes from this!
