I’ve been so lucky to get to test Cosrx’s PDRN Toner. First, I just want to start by saying I love the color choice on the packaging of this line 🧡 I’m a big fan of K-beauty and Cosrx. Have tested the serum (+ the toner in the same series) for a few weeks. Love skincare! Have tried quite a bit from cosrx before and think it’s a good brand. Have been using this toner and serum from the same line for a few weeks now. My skin: Normal/combination. I’ve tried out these eye patches from cosrx. I’m a big fan of eye masks and have tried many different brands over the years. I really liked these! They sit well under the eyes. There isn’t too much serum on them. They have a nice shape that fits well to the eyes. I leave them on until they almost “dry” and the skin feels so comfortable afterwards. So light on the skin
I make sure to use SPF 50 on my face. On my body, I use 30 or less. So I have only tested this on my face. The stick is very small and cute, practical size. The texture is quite matte and not sticky. Feels light on the skin. Almost makes me wish you could feel it more🫣 because it’s so light and matte, it’s hard to tell how much you’ve applied. So for me, I miss a regular cream form. But I have been in the sun and it works well for protection. In my series of finding BGA (Black Girl Approved) sunscreens, I have tested the Airy-Light Invisible Sun Stick by #cosrx as #lykoinflutester. By BGA, I mean products that don’t leave a white cast so you don’t look like a ghost. I was super excited to try the product since I love Korean products. The product promises to control sebum and reduce shine. High protection SPF 50 PA++++ with an ultra-light texture that gives an even, matte, and comfortable feel all day. BIG CLAIMS (I know) but the product delivered! It was easy to use, no sticky feeling, and melted into the skin without problems. HOWEVER, as you can see in the video, the sunscreen clumped up?!! Like what?! I think the sunscreen must have reacted with my skincare. But I just massaged it in and the clumps disappeared. Because of that, it gets 4/5 ⭐️ Overall, I recommend the product! It’s easy to apply, easy to carry in your handbag, and delivers what it promises. Happy? Super thin and comfortable!
Wonderfully thin and nice eye gels that are easy to hygienically pick out of the packaging. The first one I used had a bit too much product on it and therefore slid off my face when I walked around, but after you’ve taken the top ones, it’s easier to get the right amount of serum with the eye gel. Because of the thin consistency, they easily conform to the face and stay well in place until they dry in. The skin around my eyes is very sensitive, and I get eczema from some eye gels from other brands. That’s why I’m happy to have now found a version that moisturizes and refreshes without irritating. Fast absorbing, works under makeup!
At the first pump, I’m surprised that the serum has such a runny consistency. It feels completely water-based and is therefore absorbed very quickly into the skin. This allows for quick makeup application and makes the serum a good choice for the day. The effect of the serum feels very low, and I think I can achieve the same feeling with just a cream and thus skip a step. For me with dry skin, I prefer a stronger oil-based serum and would therefore not recommend this to others with dry skin. This toner comes in a large plastic bottle that fits both in the bathroom cabinet but is also sturdy enough to pack with you. The consistency is liquid but not watery. No more creasing
Me and eye patches are not really friends. I don’t think they work and therefore aren’t worth my money 😂 But when #cosrx sends them home, you have to try. I have used 5 PDRN Collagen Vitalizing Hydrogel Eye Patch for a few weeks and I have to say I might be converted?! I have DRY AS HELL eyes that crease under concealer if they’re not moisturized. So I have to moisturize PROPERLY so I don’t look like a walking dead. The serum was so incredibly moisturizing I was shocked! Makeup sits well and doesn’t crease!! I was very impressed to say the least. Now I also have dark circles. Did they get lighter from the product? Don’t know, probably too short a time to say. I have been using #cosrx 5 PDRN B5 Vital Soothing Toner for a few weeks. I am impressed ON ALL LEVELS! The toner has a light and moisturizing consistency that absorbs quickly. NO STICKY FEELING AFTERWARD. After using the toner for a few weeks, I notice my skin feels more hydrated with a nice glow. The toner worked perfectly with the rest of my skincare. It is fragrance-free but I think it “smells” good (can’t commit hahaha). From Disappointment to Favorite in Layering
I was really looking forward to trying Burberry Her Parfum, as the scent notes sounded like something that would perfectly suit my taste. Therefore, my expectations were quite high. The first thing I notice when I spray the perfume on is a sweet but very intense cherry scent. It’s a bit synthetic, but still pleasant and inviting. After a short time, the scent develops with warm amber and woody notes, giving it more depth. Unfortunately, it developed in a rather unexpected direction on my skin. After a while, it took on a note that reminded me of licorice or anise, which I personally wasn’t very fond of. I also think the scent leans more towards unisex and deep rather than the light and feminine fragrance that the pink bottle and name initially suggest. Of course, that’s a matter of taste, but it wasn’t quite what I expected. Even though the scent isn’t a perfect match for me, I’ve still found a way to enjoy it. I think it works really well as a base in a layering combination with a lighter floral scent. That way, it creates a nice balance between the powerful and confident and the light and feminine. It results in a fragrance that feels both elegant and characterful without being too heavy. All in all, Burberry Her Parfum is probably not a perfume I would wear alone, but it has still earned a place in my collection because it works surprisingly well with other scents. I received this COSRX Airy-Light Invisible sun stick (Sun Stick) from Lyko for testing. I am 37 years old, so my skin is already aging, and I also have dry skin. I use sunscreen at least 9 months a year, so I like to try new sun protection products. ☀️ I am familiar with the COSRX brand, but I haven’t tested their sunscreens before. I have tried several similar sun sticks. 🔍 These stick-type sunscreens seem to be the thing this summer. This product definitely does what it promises, but… I don’t find stick sunscreens particularly convenient or useful. 🫣 On makeup-free days, it’s of course easy to add sun protection throughout the day, but only on the face. Applying it to the body takes way too much time, and I can’t, for example, apply it to my back with this, so I prefer to use creamy sunscreen. Super mascara!
I really love this mascara from Maybelline. It works wonders for the lashes! My lashes get much more volume and length with the help of this mascara. But one wish would be for it to be waterproof, that is, an extra black mascara that is waterproof. The durability is very good, but I can experience that the lashes can lose their curl if you have used an eyelash curler, which I think a waterproof mascara would handle. I am a big fan of Maybelline's products overall and this one does not disappoint me!
