I got to test this product as a Lyko influtester. I really think this product smells good and gives a fresh feeling right upon use. I have dry/damaged lengths with an oily scalp. It doesn't weigh down my fine hair, which is a big plus. I find that I need to use the product a bit longer to see a clear result, but once it gets to work, it makes the hair both soft and easy to style. It has a nice consistency and spreads easily throughout the hair. The packaging is simple but very nice, easy to carry. Extra appreciated is that it also contains heat protection, which makes it both practical and versatile. A lovely product that I would gladly continue to use. Is it worth the price? Perfect mirror for getting ready✨
I received this #bylyko Hollywood Led Mirror for testing as part of #lykoinflutester product testing. I haven't had a makeup table and lights at home for a long time, and I had forgotten how wonderful it is to get ready with proper lighting around the face. The mirror is the perfect size, not too small and not too large. Even if you don't have a proper makeup table in use, the product is big enough to fit anywhere, and it's easy to store, for example, in a cabinet if you don't want the mirror to be on display all the time. The mirror is not too heavy, so it's easy to move from place to place, but sturdy enough to stand up well. The mirror has three different light settings, so you can always find the right lighting for your getting ready moment! Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF50 I have been testing this product for almost a month now. As a reference, I have a dry skin type. This is a day cream with SPF 50. SPF is a bonus but does not replace the use of sun protection. The cream comes in a pump bottle, which I find convenient as it reduces mess and simplifies dispensing. The cream has a pleasant scent but a slight scent of sun protection. It’s not overwhelming, but you can still feel that scent is there. The cream itself blends easily into the skin and moisturizes well. The finish is on the glossier side but less noticeable when fully absorbed. It might be a bit too rich for oilier skin types. Lovely cleansing
I have been testing this cleanser for almost a month now. As a reference, I have dry skin. I have tried many cleansers over the years and have rarely had a strong opinion about a cleansing product. But now I do! I am obsessed with this cleanser! It meets almost all my requirements for a good cleanser except for one. Generous bottle with a pump that can be closed, which makes it easy to dispense and minimizes mess. The cleanser itself is blue in color and smells lovely. A fresh scent that calms the mind. Good but expensive. The question remains if it's effective?
I have been testing this serum for just over a month. As a reference, my skin type is dry and I have fine lines on my face. This is supposed to be a high-tech and innovative serum with plant extracts, fermented ingredients, and peptides. The serum comes in a bottle with a click pipette. The design is absolutely necessary as the serum is very viscous. But despite the design, it can still sometimes be difficult to get product into the pipette. The serum is, besides the consistency, somewhat oily, which makes it ideal for dry and mature skin. It feels wonderful to apply this as you can immediately feel how soft the skin becomes. I am unsure if very oily skin would like this feeling. There is a faint scent that is pleasant, but if you dislike scent in your product, you should look for something else. In terms of results, I haven't seen any miraculous changes in my skin, but the usage time has also been short. The price range is definitely higher, and I am torn on whether it is justified. Great mirror with great light
I have now tested a makeup mirror and think it is very good. It provides fantastic light that can be switched in several different settings for those who want to see from different perspectives. The mirror also has a dimmer, so if you think the light is too bright, this can be adjusted. However, I find the buttons a bit sluggish as you have to press a couple of times before anything happens - or maybe I lack patience. But this is the reason why the mirror doesn't get a full score. It is also quite heavy, so it should be standing in one place. Not something you carry around easily. But that's of course completely okay too. Something I miss about the mirror is a side for magnification, as that is often why I have an extra mirror. Concealer with high pigmentation and thick consistency
This concealer has become somewhat of a classic, and it's easy to see why. With three different shades, a red to neutralize blue (think dark circles), a green for red areas (hello pimples!) and a beige to brighten; you get a tool that can be tailored to the skin's needs and the season. It's like having a mini-correction studio in your bag! Products have high pigmentation, but it is very thick in consistency which makes it hard to blend out. When I applied it under my eyes on the first try under foundation, I felt it took a long time to achieve a nice result (a lot of dabbing with a makeup sponge). And when I applied it on top of the foundation, the foundation almost came off because of the thick consistency. I was so lucky to receive LYKOs own Hollywood Led Mirror 💡📦 My first impression was that the package was surprisingly large and heavy. I actually didn't expect that! Previously, I had a proper makeup setup, but after moving into an apartment, I had to say goodbye to that space. My current bathroom is dark, and the light only comes from above, which makes it hard to see details. I've really realized how important it is to have good lighting. I take the mirror out of the package, and it has a heavy base. Not so heavy that you can't lift it, but solid enough that it stands steady - I'm not worried about it tipping over. Really good, but too short cord
My first impression of it was that it feels incredibly luxurious. It feels solid and stable without being too heavy and bulky. There’s also touch on the screen which adds to the luxury feel. The size is just right to feel sufficiently large (so you don’t have to keep adjusting your position and angling it around your face to see yourself), but still not too cumbersome. Maybe it could have been a little smaller, because now I’m not really sure where to store it😂 The most important thing is of course the light, and this mirror gives a really, really good light without glaring. There are a total of three different types of light (one cold and white, one warmer and a bit yellower, and a setting in between). It can also be dimmed! A pretty big downside is unfortunately that the cord is very short. I don’t have a makeup table or desk that I do my makeup at, but usually hang out at the bathroom mirror. With this mirror, I could have temporarily moved to the dining table for example and sit down in peace, but even though I have a wall outlet only about 1 meter from the table, it only works if the mirror is standing right on the edge of the dining table. The cord is estimated to be about 1.5m long, which means it still isn’t as portable and convenient as it could have been. Therefore, it fits best for you who already have a makeup table directly against the wall by an outlet. It was hard to capture the dimmer function on film as the mobile camera adjusts to the light. I got such a fun assignment as #lykoinflutester! A mirror!!! And wow, I can only say, it’s not just pretty but also really good. 🫶🏼🫶🏼 Okay, so there are three different settings on it when it comes to light: warm, cool, and neutral. Not only that: it can be dimmed in all settings and it saves the last choice. I absooooolutely love this makeup mirror🤍, I have one that hangs on the wall with light bars, then I had a similar one to this, but I actually gave that one to my mom. Lyko's own makeup mirror is really good, the design is nice, and it’s big enough. I like that the lights on the mirror don’t stick out too much, which makes it more practical to pack when I travel for a weekend and similar. It can rotate 360°, which is convenient, but one really good thing about it is that on the sides, where the knobs are that allow it to rotate, there’s rubber in between (hard to explain but incredibly good) that keeps the mirror from being wobbly, which means I can angle the mirror however I want and it stays in the same position!! 🥹🤍🤍 It makes a huge difference for me as I often angle and move my mirror. I think the price, design, light, and the whole mirror are definitely worth it. If you want a portable mirror that’s big enough but also works to take with you, BUY!!! Or why not give it as a gift? Good shades but difficult consistency
I received #Makeupstore Cover All Mix The Original for review. I have mostly tried the peachy and green concealer from the palette. I feel that the third light shade is a bit unnecessary since I use other products for highlighting. The red shade neutralizes the darkness under the eyes, and the green helps with redness around the nostrils and in the center of the face. The lightness of the shades suits my skin well. I apply the product with an eyeshadow brush to the necessary areas before other makeup. The consistency could be better. When it dries, it becomes a bit waxy. When I try to work this product on top of, for example, foundation, the products do not necessarily blend together. The concealer may start to move, especially with the brush, and there may be unblended patches left on the skin. I get the product to work by dabbing other products on top with a makeup sponge. My skin is especially very dry at this time of year. The product often does not settle evenly under the eyes or in other dry areas, even though I have focused on moisturizing my face. Warming the product with my finger helps a bit. Practical, compact, and long-lasting!
Let me first tell you a bit about myself, that I rarely use foundation and even less often concealer. So, I have maybe tried color corrector once or twice in my life. The reason for that is that I don’t really know how to use it, or at least that’s how I feel. However, I do have a need for it 😆😅. After all, I am a middle-aged woman whose face also shows dark circles under the eyes and other color variations. The first impression of the product is that it’s nice since it’s creamy, so you would think it would be easy to use. The packaging and compartments are also very small. You don’t need much of the product, but I’m wondering how I can take it out in a sensible way with my fingers without digging it out with my nails. 🤔 we will see ☺️😅 For my first try, I applied the color correcting darker shade under my eye and also the lighter skin tone to brighten under the eye. It actually brightened and looked relatively natural. So I managed to use it 🤩 in the next try I used the green on the side of my nose and elsewhere where I saw red, like salmon pink under the eyes, and again the light where I need brightening. Well, you can imagine how that went. And I also took videos & pictures 😅 (too bad I didn’t take any on the first try 😶) There are already many products on the list, and clearly, I didn’t manage to apply it sufficiently little, as it starts to settle after half a day. Even though everything is set with powder and still has setting spray on top. I realize that makeup can always be seen on the skin, but I don’t like the bumpy appearance that inevitably comes out at some point during the day. It can be seen, for example, on the cheeks, chin, and the center of the forehead. And for that reason, I generally don’t use makeup on my face. I think the product seems quite promising, even for me, who is definitely not used to using these. It just needs a little getting used to and learning. Now I have applied the product with my fingers because I thought that the warmth from my fingers would help in applying it and that I would get it on sufficiently lightly/thinly. The three mentioned colors are completely sufficient to cover the areas that need it. Due to its small size, it’s also easy to take along when traveling. At first, it felt difficult to take the product, but I came to the conclusion that precisely because of its small size, I don’t accidentally take too much. The product spreads relatively easily even with fingers, so the warmth helps with that. I received #makeupstore Multi Lash Definition Mascara for evaluation. Considering the product's price and appearance, I expected more. The mascara was difficult to layer, and it didn't provide much length. The curl of the lashes fell flat almost immediately, especially at the outer corner of the eyes. The picture shows how after just two hours, mascara has fallen off the left eye. I liked the product's stylish appearance and the applicator.
