Good conditioner for the price
As #lykoinflutester I have tested the Pure Cure Scalp conditioner #bylyko The conditioner comes in a simple and nice green bottle, I really like the color💚 I might wish that the products came in a pump bottle instead so it would be a bit easier to dose, but otherwise there is nothing to complain about this. But it is still economical even without a pump as you need little. The bottle comes in 250 ml, which is a perfect size for most things, but it could have been available in a larger size for my part. The conditioner has a thick consistency that is easy to distribute in the hair. It has a mild and pleasant scent that is nice for those who are sensitive to smells. I notice right away, after the first use, that my scalp feels better and the itchiness that easily occurs after washing my hair is not there, and my hair feels clean as it is a conditioner that does not weigh the hair down. I think my hair stayed clean for several days afterwards, which surprised me as I usually get greasy hair the very next day, or at most two days, then it has to be washed again. With this combined with the shampoo, it actually lasted 3-4 days before it got greasy. It also seems that this series is very mild on my scalp as I have a sensitive scalp that easily itches and flakes, and I have had less itching and flaking since I started with this. So my scalp loved this. I washed my hair every other day with 2 times with shampoo from the same series and then applied this conditioner and let it sit for a few minutes, and even though I did that, I don’t think the conditioner provided enough nourishment/moisture for my long color-treated hair as I feel it made my hair drier in the long run. But I also tested with a hair mask that provided moisture once a week in addition, and then it worked very well, but that is the only negative I found with this conditioner after testing it for several weeks. So I would really recommend this conditioner along with the shampoo for sensitive, dry, itchy scalp and for those who have hair and scalp that tend to get greasy easily. As #lykoinflutester I have tested the Pure Cure Scalp Shampoo #bylyko and I am really satisfied! Positively surprised by this. Sulfate-free shampoo that cleans well, but not right for my hair
I got to test this shampoo from LYKO as an Influtester. 💚 A bit about my hair: I have fine and very sensitive hair with low porosity. I have also had long-term issues with my scalp and hair strands that easily break, which makes me quite careful about which products I use. The shampoo is sulfate-free, which I appreciate. It is easy to apply to the scalp, lathers just right, and has a pleasant scent. After washing, my hair felt clean and my scalp fresh. The formula contains, among other things, salicylic acid and piroctone olamine, ingredients that can be good for scalp balance. However, the shampoo also contains several different proteins. Unfortunately, my hair doesn't usually work well with products that contain a lot of protein since my hair primarily needs moisture. Therefore, I felt that my hair felt a bit coarse and somewhat dried out after use. For me, this was therefore not quite the right shampoo, but I absolutely believe it could suit someone with normal to oily or combination scalp who wants a sulfate-free shampoo focused on the scalp. Using this every day
I am very satisfied with this hair mask. It is incredibly easy to use, just put it on before going to bed. Luxury!🕺 One of the things I like best is how light it feels in the hair. Many hair masks can make my hair heavy or greasy, but this one absorbs well and leaves the hair soft and natural. It helps especially when the hair feels a bit dry or damaged, and gives it a healthier and more well-groomed appearance. I also notice that my hair is much easier to comb and style after use. I am super satisfied with this dry shampoo. It is perfect for busy days when you don't have time to wash your hair but still want it to look fresh and neat. Something I especially like is that my hair gets more volume and life. It gives a nice lift at the roots and makes my hair look fuller, which is really nice if my hair can easily get a bit flat. At the same time, it makes my hair easier to style since it gets more texture and hold. I also find that it doesn't leave a heavy or sticky feeling in my hair, but rather makes it light and natural. I got to test this conditioner. I really like the design and the bottle. Smells pretty good, mild and fresh🌱 The conditioner did its job, hydrated the lengths of my hair well, but after I blow-dried my hair after washing it with ByLyko's scalp shampoo and along with this conditioner, I became drier on top of my hair, dry scalp, and felt that my hair got a bit more frizzy in a way. I got to test this shampoo from Lyko's brand. I have a pretty dry, flaky, and irritated scalp, and when I tried this product, I hoped it would help. The bottle and design are really good, I liked the green color and it was a cute little bottle :) The scent is mild and fresh, reminds me of head&shoulders👌 Two rounds with the shampoo and after that, when I blow-dried my hair, I noticed a difference in how my hair was.. it actually became drier and wasn't as pleasant as I thought it would be. My hair didn't feel as airy and light as I'm used to (I have VERY long hair, 1 meter long/down to my butt) It's probably just that I react to it, and that's totally okay. Good to know, but cool to try new shampoo! For me, it's probably a product that I would recommend to others, but for me, I will probably use it in an emergency. Smooth Moisture Boost
I have tested the Amika Dream Routine Overnight Hydration Mask, which is a product category I actually haven't tried before. Therefore, I had zero expectations when I started using it, but it came at just the right time, in the middle of the dry winter when my hair really needs a little extra moisture 💧 I have quite long hair and usually use about 2-3 pumps, which feels like a suitable amount to get the product evenly distributed in the lengths. One thing I was positively surprised by is how nicely it dries into the hair. It doesn't leave any heavy or sticky feeling at all, which I am always afraid of with leave-in products. Not a game changer
I got to try Amika Perk Up Dry Shampoo, and as someone who uses dry shampoo quite regularly, I'm always curious to try new ones. It can really be a lifesaver on those days when your hair needs a little refresh between washes 🤍 First impression is the bottle! It's very colorful and full of patterns, which feels quite typical of Amika. I think it's pretty and fun to look at. The product itself absolutely does its job. My hair feels fresher and the scent is nice. I'm a brunette, so I tend to be a bit cautious with dry shampoos since many can leave a gray residue. This one, however, I think does quite well on that front, as long as you don't spray too much and work it into your hair a bit. However, I unfortunately didn't get a real wow experience from this one. For me, it feels quite similar to many other dry shampoos I've tried, even cheaper alternatives. I've also gotten a bit spoiled after trying K18 AirWash, which I've really fallen for, even though it's more expensive 🫢 I will definitely use up the bottle, but we'll see if I buy this one again. Sleep tight!
I've been testing this product for a few weeks now 😍 I haven't used products from this brand before other than having a really great & pretty curling iron from them many years ago. This packaging is really nice and a bit more neutral compared to their other packaging. Easy to pump out and the formula is almost shimmery (not visible on the hair) and very light, so you don't need many pumps unless you have very thick hair. I would say it suits me well as I might not always have time for a moisturizing mask and it's great to have as protection when you sleep. I don't feel that my hair feels greasy/heavy either during application or when I wake up. This suited me and my hair very well! Love it! Nice packaging with pump bottle! My hair is long and quickly gets a bit frizzy and dry, while also being fine thin strands that make many moisture masks too heavy. Everlasting Color Wash
This shampoo came at a perfect time. The same day I dyed my hair at the salon, this landed in my mailbox. I often feel that the brown color gets a bit dull and boring after a little while, and that it suddenly becomes very orange. I have used purple/blue shampoo to tone it down before, but to really test this, I have only used this line for the past few weeks. I think it works well! The hair color has surprisingly held up well, and I even think the cool tone has stayed better. Very impressed in that regard. The only downside is the smell. It smells quite strong of something that reminds me of a men's perfume. Color-protecting balm! First impression: quite a stylish bottle to have in the shower, fresh color. It was perfect to test this series now, because the same day this arrived in the mail, I was at the hairdresser to dye my hair! I've been using it for a few weeks now, and I honestly think it works. A bit about my hair: shoulder-length fine hair, I struggle with scalp problems due to seborrheic eczema that can cause itching and dandruff. Shampoo and conditioner both come in a simple and nice bottle, I really like the color💚 I might wish that the products came in a pump bottle instead, it’s a bit cumbersome to squeeze the conditioner out of the bottle. I would also like to have, for example, a color stripe on both products on the cap of the bottle. Then you can immediately see what is conditioner and shampoo. You can see that there is a faint green over the text Conditioner, but it’s not very visible. The conditioner has a nice and creamy consistency. Easy to distribute in the hair. The scent is nice and mild, you don’t notice it throughout the day. I’m unsure if I actually see a difference after using just the conditioner, but together with the shampoo, they do a good job. I am absolutely satisfied with this series. My scalp feels much cleaner and I have less itching and dandruff. I also think this series is much milder on the scalp than other products I have tried, so I think #bylyko has done a really good job here👏🏼 Even though my hair has become extra dry after use, I would recommend the series. 1-2 times a week, and a good hair mask. Pretty okay shampoo for the price
Sleek and handy packaging. The shampoo smells really fresh without being intense. It’s also relatively economical, so a little goes a long way. I have periodically irritated scalp, especially during the winter months. With the shampoo, my hair feels clean and my scalp feels good, but I find that my hair gets a bit frizzier than I’d like. Got it as part of the test package for the new hair series from Lyko😃 (shampoo separate review) but this was disappointing, I mean for my hair and needs☝️ The bottle is in an awkward shape and the color is not to my taste..... hard to squeeze out the conditioner. A pump would have been gold here!! Good mild scent, a bit too thick so hard to distribute in hair that has already become very dry and tangled from the shampoo... but I let it sit for about 3 minutes hoping it would do the trick, but when I rinsed it out, it felt like I hadn't had a so-called conditioner in soooooo I got a bit confused there🤔🤷♀️ again the ends were a complete disaster... dry, stiff, and static, felt unmanageable... My hair is medium-length, coarse, and thick with remnants of highlights at the ends so they need more care than this provides. As #lykoinflutester I got to test the Pure Cure Scalp Conditioner from #bylyko The first thing that strikes me is that it’s hard to test just one conditioner. The result depends just as much on the shampoo, and I see both products as a unit. The plastic bottle is delightfully spring green. The negative is that I can’t possibly squeeze product out of the bottle. The plastic is rock hard, and it ends up with me having to unscrew the cap and pour conditioner into my palm. For me, this is a mask, and as such, it works really well. The scent is a subtle floral-citrus and feels very fresh. The mask is easy to distribute and feels pleasantly cool on the scalp. Easy to rinse out and leaves the hair soft and full. My hair is thin, fine, and short. I have long struggled with itching on my scalp and sometimes dry patches. Thankfully, I have neither oily hair nor dandruff. The itching disappeared practically immediately!!! I assume that the shampoo combined with the conditioner worked together to solve the problem. This is a good product at a good price. The only negative is the packaging, which I really have to abuse to get product out. I must say I have very thin and thinning hair, especially at the front. The cause is hormonal (open for product recommendation ☺️), and I haven’t found any solutions yet. My hair is frizzy when it’s towel-dried, but after a blowout it tends to turn flat and slick. #wow Raise the Root made it a bit easier for me to camouflage the thinning at the front by giving a little fluff to my bangs. It is quite thin and runny, so you have to be a bit careful so that too much product doesn't spill out. The scent is lightly floral-citrus with an undertone of bubble-gum. I like the scent because it is so light, it doesn't overpower at all. The shampoo lathers well with thick white foam. Feels economical, a little dollop is enough. My hair is dry, short-cut with thin, fine strands. The scalp is sensitive and easily irritated, and I easily get dry patches with itching. However, I have neither oily hair nor dandruff. I notice right away, after the first use, that the scalp feels good. The usual itchiness after washing is not there, and the hair feels healthy and smooth. Unfortunately, the volume might be "so-so", but this is not a volumizing shampoo. I will use the shampoo now and then, as a treatment.
