Gentle Cleansing
I was really happy to receive this product for testing, and it surprised me very positively. The first impression was immediately good – the cleanser felt gentle and just what my skin needs, especially in winter. The packaging is practical, and the product is easy to incorporate into my daily skincare routine. The cleanser is fragrance-free and has a creamy consistency. It doesn't foam strongly, but still cleanses the skin well without a tightening feeling. My skin feels clean, soft, and pleasant after washing. My skin is combination, and in winter it easily dries out and gets red. Many cleansing products have previously dried my skin out too much, but this one has worked really well on my skin. After use, my skin feels calm and hydrated, and dryness and redness have clearly decreased. New Year's Eve was extremely calm for me and my "concussion during recovery", but I stayed awake until 00 anyway 🥳 I'm considering starting the year with a haircut after finding Brad Mondo's tutorial on the "Sabrina Carpenter cut" which looks to be quite manageable! It involves a bit more "layering" and texturizing, so I'll see if I'm feeling bangs or not. I like that my hair is thick, but sometimes it feels a bit unnecessarily heavy, like a big mass just... so it could be fun to try. Hard to Evaluate
This is a bit trickier task as a Lyko influencer with these eye patches since it’s a one-time test, so I can’t unfortunately say whether these work long-term. This test fits perfectly here on New Year's Eve 🙏 A bit about my skin around the eyes: - Puffy bags but not directly dark circles under the eyes. - Somewhat sensitive skin, but not right under the eyes. - A few small wrinkles, but these don’t bother me that much yet. About the product: - The packaging is totally okay, but I would have preferred if these came in a multi-pack in a jar. - Love the shape! No need to think about whether the "tail" should be inward or outward. - Plenty of serum. - Sturdy and stays well in place. The result then? The feeling afterwards is lovely, moisturizing, but to be really honest, I don’t see any major difference. Maybe a bit less puffy. Probably you could see a nice result if you use these about 3 times a week, for 3-4 months, but then there are better and more affordable products. However, the luxurious feeling gives an inner well-being and it always feels wonderful to pamper yourself a little. I could easily buy these to give as a gift, maybe in a basket together with other products in the "treat-yourself" spirit. Not such a big difference
✨ First impression Stable packaging and very user-friendly! Thick, which made them easy to apply. I love using sheet masks, and this was probably one of the best I've tested so far, at least in terms of fit. It fits like a dream, and you aren't restricted during use, like not being able to drink or eat, which I really appreciate, as I like to have a mask on for a little longer. My skin isn't sensitive but is often drier this time of year, and this made my skin feel hydrated and well-cared for. I can imagine it being really nice to use during times when the skin can be stressed or in need of hydration. It's just the right amount of wet and leaves no sticky feeling after removal. The price may be high, and it's significantly more expensive than the masks I usually use, but I think it breathes quality. I like to use this makeup for everyday. This foundation from IsaDora has a glossy and natural finish, just how I like it. This bronzer from Lancôme looks very natural. I like to use stick blush and then set it with powder blush. So I used the blush stick from Dior and then Ysl blush 87. It is very pigmented so apply it a little carefully. I like this YSL mascara because it doesn’t smudge under the eyes during the day. Diamond bomb from Fenty Beauty I don’t need to say it’s my favorite, it’s so brilliant. Last but not least, the combo with fuzzy bomb stix I love 100%. I got to test these eyepatches that Lyko influtester, thanks to both Verso and Lyko for that 🤗 I have passed 40 and so has my skin. (most of the time it feels like my skin has passed 40 more than I have 😋). The properties of these eyepatches are described so nicely in the product description, so I won’t repeat everything again, but the name itself (retinoate) tells me that this is not something to expect as a ”quick-fix” but is meant to be used regularly. Since I’ve only gotten one pair, I can unfortunately only review based on one use. That said, I think the product is nice! The packaging is pretty (I like Verso’s aesthetic!) and the inner pouch for the pair of patches is tightly sealed, and no product has leaked into the outer packaging. The patches themselves are thicker than those Verso has in their jars and feel more like X-lash in thickness. Silly maybe, but I like it 😍 I also like their design, that they don’t have that ”tip” that always ends up wrong on me. I had mine on for just over 20 minutes. When I took them off, I felt a bit warm on the skin on my cheekbones, so it felt like something had worked on my skin. Do I see any difference before and after? No, I wouldn’t say so (judge for yourself in the video 🙂). Not more than the slightly temporary smoothness the skin gets from being covered with silicone and product for 20 minutes normally. For 110:- I had hoped I would at least look a bit more plump right away or that it would give the immediate tightening effect that is promised, but I can’t really see that either. Believe the hype
When I, as a #lykoinflutester, found out that I would be testing #cerave's cleanser, I thought it would be a quick and easy task. Because I have been using this cleanser since Cerave's products went viral at the beginning of the pandemic. Cerave was developed by dermatologists and is basically allergy-friendly. But I have still reacted to some of Cerave's products, like the sunscreen. But not this one. I have sensitive skin, and it hasn't gotten better after menopause. I react to most things, and my skin gets red and irritated. My skin has also become very dry. I use Cerave's cleanser every evening. The scent is mild, and the consistency is just right, neither too thick nor too runny. It's easy to pump the right amount out of the bottle, and therefore it lasts a long time. So the product is reasonably priced. I use the large bottles, and they can stand in the shower for months. No water gets in, and the pressure on the bottle doesn't wear out. I've never had any problems with the pump either. I find that I don't need an oil cleanser to remove light everyday makeup. I only need this cleanser. My skin feels clean, and it doesn't cause any itching or burning. And my skin retains moisture. I only use the cleanser in the evening. And in the morning, I rinse my skin with lukewarm water. Of course, there are products on the market that may seem more luxurious for five times the price. A little more perfume and a little prettier packaging. This is absolutely a good mascara that does what it’s supposed to. The lashes get a nice color and volume and stay up all day. However, I find that this, like most others, transfers onto the eyelids and crumbles a bit after a while. That’s something that’s hard to avoid, but the mascara is easy to remove and also feels good to use since it has serum in it. The packaging is also a big plus and looks super nice in the makeup bag. However, the brush is a bit big, but it’s still quite easy to use. I have as #lykoinflutester tested this sheet mask from #verso It is a thick and lovely mask divided into two parts, something I think more companies should follow since the fit becomes much better. There is a lot of serum in the packaging, so it is more than enough for both décolleté and hands as well. On the face, the mask feels pleasant and it is easy to massage in the serum when it is time to take it off. I have sensitive winter skin that tends to flare up, and this mask definitely helped to calm my skin. I definitely feel that I am both hydrated and plumped, so the mask gets full points! I have to start by saying that I am very picky with my mascaras, I only use waterproof because otherwise my lashes just fall after a minute. That's why I was a bit skeptical before trying this, but it was really much better than expected!🌟 I like that the brush is quite hard and shaped after the lashes, it makes it much easier to apply. It would probably be great to combine it with a volumizing mascara at the roots of the lashes, and then this one just at the tips!✨ It's really a mascara for length, so if you're only looking for volume, it's probably better to keep looking. I like when mascaras are a bit "dried" and not completely new, it's always a bit hard to apply at first.
