My new favorite serum!
I have been using this serum every night for the past few weeks in combination with the toner from the same line, and I am hooked! ☀️ I use these products after cleansing and finish with a good moisturizer. I have had the chance to try this perfume for a few weeks and really think this perfume smells good, I like the warm and feminine scent. It feels pleasant and easy to wear, and I think it suits both everyday use and when you want to feel a little extra nice, like in the evening. Perfect for my skin!
I have used this toner in combination with the serum from the same line, and I am hooked! I have normal skin but struggle a bit with blemishes. I got to try this lovely perfume from #versace as #lykoinflutester 🩷 I usually have a bit of trouble finding perfumes that suit me because I can't handle certain scents and not especially strong and heavy scents due to my migraine. But I immediately noticed that this one would suit me🥰 I would describe it as: 🌸clean 🌸floral 🌸soft 🌸fresh No scent that becomes too much or too heavy, just light and fresh🫶🏼 Therefore, I would say this scent is perfect to use as your everyday scent or well, for everyday. I read several reviews that said it doesn't last all day but I haven't experienced that, I think it lasts, though the scent probably gets weaker during the day but I don't think that's a problem. Unfortunately does nothing and was uncomfortable to use
I had high expectations for this nose strip, but unfortunately it didn’t work at all for me😔 No results: It absorbed nothing. The patch never turned white and didn’t pull anything out of the pores. I’ve tried it several times in different ways and worn it from 6 hours to the whole night, but the results were completely absent👎🏼 Difficult to apply: The protective plastic was stuck too hard to the gel patch itself. When trying to peel off the plastic, the whole patch comes off unless you hold it firmly. It also says it’s specially designed for the nose and folds, but for me it comes off in the folds and doesn’t sit well there at all… Hurts to remove: They say it should be soft and easy to remove, but mine was way too stuck. It genuinely hurt to pull it off and it felt like the skin came off with it🥹 Uncomfortable to sleep with: The material felt too much on the face. It rubbed on the edges and almost started to itch, which made it really uncomfortable to try to sleep with it on. I really think this is a super good product! For me, the biggest advantage of these pimple patches is that they act as a physical barrier. Instead of sitting there picking, squeezing, or accidentally touching the pimple all the time, it gets to be left alone and heal peacefully. Just that makes a huge difference in how quickly the skin recovers without scabs👌🏼👌🏼 How do they work in practice? Effect: The patches do exactly what they’re supposed to, they draw out fluid/impurities within a few hours (super nice to put on before bed!) and calm the pimple down properly. Fit & feel: They stay firmly on the skin without irritating, and it’s very satisfying to see when the patch has turned white and done its job🙈😍 Original vs. Invisible+ My comparison: I’ve also tried the Invisible+ version, but honestly, I didn’t notice any significant difference between them. Both Original and Invisible+ perform equally well, feel just as thick/thin on the skin, and stick just as well. Good protection and does the job – but not noticeably thinner than the original
I really like the concept of Mighty Patch! It’s a super simple and convenient product that actually helps to suck out the “gunk” from pimples. A big bonus is that the patch acts as a physical barrier, keeping fingers away so you don’t pick and make the pimple worse, allowing it to heal peacefully😍 A few things that are good to know: Thickness: I personally don’t notice any difference in thinness compared to the Original version (the packaging even states the same thickness), so don’t expect a drastic difference there. Application: The patches can be a bit tricky to peel off the plastic sheet. My best tip is to use tweezers to grab the edge without folding the patch🤫🫶🏼 Removal & Effect: Once it’s in place, it does what it’s supposed to, and it’s very easy and painless to peel off when it has turned white! Good budget option
For the price, it’s a really good flat iron! As a former hairstylist, there are a few things I look for when buying a flat iron: ☀️ Is there heat control? ☀️ Can you turn it on/off without unplugging it? ☀️ Does it turn off automatically after a certain period of inactivity? ☀️ Can you use it without accidentally pressing any buttons (e.g., the power or heat control)? ☀️ Are the plates ceramic? ☀️ Does it close tightly when you press it together, or is there a gap? (To avoid it catching, pulling hair, or straightening unevenly). ☀️ Is the cord good quality to prevent tangling or knots, and is it long enough? ☀️ Is it easy to press together with one hand, or do you need two? ☀️ Does the plastic around the heating plates get super hot, or does it stay relatively cool? (So you don’t risk burning yourself). ☀️ Is it easy to use? ☀️ Does it heat up quickly? ☀️ Is the design suitable for both curling and straightening? As you can see, I have high standards and expectations for a flat iron. I’ve owned many over the years, and this one ranks in my top 3! At the very top is still GHD, although they tend to have an annoying quick shut-off feature that means you have to restart it very often. Those flat irons are usually around 2,000 SEK. I don’t experience this problem with Lyko’s own super nice pink flat iron! However, the reason it only gets 4/5 stars is the plates themselves don’t close tightly. Unfortunately, the plates aren’t completely straight, which causes a gap in the middle of the flat iron, which unfortunately pulls hair and leaves the middle section a bit wavy. This means you have to go over the same section multiple times, which isn’t ideal because then the heat protection stops working! If you work with very narrow and thin sections at lower heat, you can get a shiny and ultra-smooth result, but you have to be careful so the hair doesn’t get caught or pulled anyway. Everything else is 5/5, but as I said, I’m a bit picky. For the price, it’s an excellent product, but it feels like Lyko could be the first to release a budget flat iron that doesn’t have gaps!
