    Pretty okay LED mask🎭

    As a #lykoinflutester, I got to test the Facial LED Mask EMS from #silkn👹 This is a mask that combines LED therapy & EMS/microcurrent in one mask. It is made of flexible silicone with 2 Velcro straps to secure it around the face/neck... It charges with USB-C and the batteries might last for about 1 hour of treatment🔋 First, a few comments on the actual quality of the hardware... 🔨 I have a mask from before called CurrentBody Skin LED 4-in-1 Zone Facial, so I will use it as a little comparison. It has a much better grip and the quality of the Velcro feels much higher. This should be noted that it is a mask that costs 5999 kr, not 3995 kr like this one. Even after the first use, the Velcro starts to break😬 I am picky here because of the price, it is still an expensive product! 🤑 The mask from Silkn feels cheaper as the Velcro pulls in my hair, is narrow, and sits in such a place that I have to pull it around my neck😬 However, it stays well in place and is nice to wear! 👍 The remote is much lighter in Silkn than Currentbody's, which feels cheaper BUT also makes it easy: you can have it in your bra or in the waistband if you don't have pockets in your clothes. Silkn's mask also has a timer that counts down so you can see exactly how much time is left on your treatment👌 A big minus though because this is a combo mask that has lots of metal conductors in the mask, for the EMS function (think LED and Foreo 🐻 in one) there are no lights in those areas. So around the eyes and on the cheeks, it is instead focused on EMS and no lights 😶🤔 So there it gets a minus compared to a mask that only has LED. But I like the idea of having a mask with both to reduce treatment time if you want both. I haven't tested the EMS function as much as the actual LED lights since I have other EMS devices at home that I use regularly, so this function wouldn't have given me any results. ➖ ⚠️And for all the metal parts that were furthest in, never touched my skin unless I held the mask against my face, so the function didn't work 🙄 So I didn't get the maximum out of that function plus I think you need to have a movement of an EMS device plus a gel for the best contact 🔌 It has 3 different "programs" with different wavelengths that are all 10 minutes long & should focus on slightly different issues. The different wavelengths/"colors": - Red (633nm) + Dark Red (660nm) + Near-Infrared (830nm) + Deep Near-Infrared (1072nm) + Amber (605nm) and Blue (405nm): The blue LED lamp is integrated into the remote control. This has 243 LED lamps while my other mask has 360 from Currentbody... ➕But these have the same wavelength on their "red" wavelengths, which are the ones that also have the most research on them that should give the best results! So that is a big plus! ➕ And that research shows that combining red and NIR is best, and you can do that with this👍 💎But, my other one also has blue light, which is the reason I bought it because I have acne! Silkn has chosen to have its blue light in the remote, so if you want to use it, you have to sit for 10 minutes with it on the area you want to treat, which I don't find convenient. 📢📚A little more description about the wavelengths I found: One reason red and NIR are so frequently used in high quality LED devices is because they are within the “optical window” of ideal photobiomodulation (this is sometimes referred to as the “tissue window”). That window is said to be between 610 and 860 (Karu & Kolyakov, 2005). More recently, some other researchers argue the optical window extends up to 1100 nm (Lima et al., 2020). This optical window offers the best penetration of light. So for the most part, you want to look for red (typically 633nm, but somewhere between 630-660nm) and NIR (look for 820-840nm, with 830nm being the gold standard) as those wavelengths have the most evidence to support them. In studies that compared red wavelengths alone compared to red plus NIR, the red plus NIR had the best results across a range of outcomes related to photoaging. ❗My results:❗ I have experienced that during this period my acne has gotten much better! BUT I cannot rule out that this has to do with my skincare routine, diet, or something else instead of the mask. I have used this about 20 times 3 times a week but cannot say that I have noticed anything else special with my skin, but I also know that it takes time AND that I have already used my other mask before... ➖ Minus it gets compared to my other mask, and I am currently using Silkn's program 2 first and then have my other one for the blue wavelength🤣 In short! 😄😉 This is a good mask to buy if you want and can afford to test LED therapy, at a good price that will give you results if you use it at least 4 times a week for 10 minutes, I would say. There is no research that says you can use LED too much, and I usually use it more than 10 minutes BUT it is not recommended by Silkn. Expect that results take time though! And if you have rosacea, be careful as NIR light can trigger this. Also, such masks do not work magic! Instead, use sunscreen and other skincare to get the best results.

    As a #lykoinflutester, I had the honor of testing this blush stick from DAAR in the color Pink Sunset. This is a really good blush. It is very pigmented and easy to work with. It applies very nicely on the skin and there are no issues building it up if you want more color. The color looks very natural on the skin, which I like. The packaging gets plus points. Really cute and nice packaging that makes you happy to look at❤️ I’ll finish by saying this is a really good blush and I will continue to use it⭐️ Thanks to #LYKO & #DAAR #lykoinflutester

    As a #lykoinflutester, I had the honor of testing this mascara from DAAR. Unfortunately, it wasn't a favorite of mine, but overall it's a good mascara ❤️ I have very thin and short lashes, so I always use a waterproof mascara, otherwise the lashes fall right away. Unfortunately, they did that with this mascara. 😥 Overall, the mascara is good. It's easy to work with, and the brush is very good. The mascara has a really deep black color and applies nicely to the lashes without clumping. It lasts all day, and there are NO flakes under the eyes, which is very positive ⭐️ This mascara is also vegan, which is super!!⭐️ I think it's a real shame that it doesn't come in waterproof, because then I would have bought it right away!     God, easy and natural

    The Blush Stick Pink Sunset from Daar is a nice, creamy blush with a really beautiful and natural color. I rarely use makeup at all, but this one was easy to work with – both with a brush and with fingers, depending on what you prefer. The color is soft and fresh and gives a nice, natural look to the cheeks without being too strong. The consistency glides easily over the skin and blends out easily without settling into dry areas or the like. The packaging is colorful and stands out, but unfortunately feels a bit cheap, which slightly detracts from the overall impression.     I rarely use highlighter – and generally not much makeup – but I was actually pleasantly surprised by the Highlighter Stick Starstruck from Daar. The product has a super nice consistency that glides easily over the skin and applies beautifully. The finish is quite glittery, which is a bit too much for my taste on the face, but it’s perfect for collarbones and shoulders, where it gives a lovely glow with a little extra shine. The packaging itself is colorful and fun, but feels a bit cheap, which brings it down a notch – especially when the product itself feels so nice.     Good for those who like rubber brushes

    Leap Lash Mascara from Daar unfortunately wasn't a perfect match for me, as I generally don't like rubber brushes. It still clumps a bit on my lashes, especially if I try to build more than one layer – so it doesn't work optimally for my lash type. That said, it's one of the better rubber brush mascaras I've tried, and it's definitely more a matter of personal preference than a bad product. It was easy to apply, had a deep, beautiful black color, and held up well throughout the day without flaking or smudging. I could also remove it without any issues. The packaging is fun and different – I see that as a clear plus. A good mascara, but not one I would buy again, as it doesn't suit my needs. #lykoinflutester #daarcosmetics

    Thanks to #lykoinflutester, I got to try the DAAR mascara, DAAR blush in the color Pink Sunset, and also the highlighter stick in the shade Pearl. I have all the products in the picture on, as well as contour etc. from other brands. This blush stick was sooooo pretty! It gives a pleasant and cute shade of pink.. I usually have a hard time applying blush sticks as I find they very often become patchy, but this one did not become patchy! It was easy to work with and blended out easily on the skin. Something that surprised me was how creamy it was, you can even see it in the picture! The longevity was also great, it lasted the 8 hours I had the makeup on, which was incredible since blush is something that usually fades out after a little while. I put three dots on each cheek and then blended it out with a brush directly on the skin, this worked very well since it was so creamy. About me: • dry skin Pros: + Nice color! + Nice packaging + Lasts long + Easy to work with Cons: - really nothing In summary, I will 100% buy this stick again. It was absolutely fantastic to work with, and I couldn't be more satisfied! #daar

    Natural Glow

    Thanks to #lykoinflutester, I got to try the DAAR mascara, DAAR blush in the color Pink Sunset, and also the highlighter stick in the shade Pearl. I have all the products in the picture on, as well as contour etc. from other brands. First up is the highlighter stick! This was a pleasant surprise as I’ve heard quite mixed reviews about this. The color Pearl was just perfect!! The stick is not glittery at all, but it just gives a natural glow. This can be both a downside and an upside, as it doesn’t give the world’s shine, but it looks like it’s natural and that the skin really glows, so I love it! I applied it by taking it on my finger first and then putting it on my face. The highlighter is very creamy, so it can probably be done in any way. Another advantage of this is that it held very well! I find that highlighters usually disappear after about 1 hour, but this one stayed put for the 8 hours I had the makeup on. About me: • Dry skin Pros: + Natural glow + Easy to apply + Good durability + SUPER pretty packaging Cons: - Unfortunately, it broke on me after the second use, it might have been my fault as I’m not 100% sure if I twisted the product down completely before putting the cap on, which caused it to break the next time I pressed it on my skin. But that doesn’t stop me from using it! In summary, I will buy this again when I want a natural glow. It’s wonderful and really worth its price! #daar

    Bounce bounce curl treatment👩🏻‍🦱

    As step number two, I used the bounce bounce curl treatment from #happycrazymine after washing my hair two rounds with the shampoo from the series, see previous review🩷 I took a reasonable amount of the product and applied it to the hair lengths. I let this sit for about 10 minutes since I had plenty of time. Just like the shampoo, this product also had a good scent. For the price they correspond to, the product packaging is also very nice to look at, it’s not quite in the top class compared to what’s out there in the market, but that’s probably not the intention here. I feel they hit the mark with this by creating a product that activates the curls😍 A big plus that the products are vegan, sulfate-free, and silicone-free🫶🏼 I let my hair air dry🥰 #lykoinflutester

    Hair care products from #happycrazymine are such a good choice if you want to highlight your curls!😍 As a #lykoinflutester, I have occasionally highlighted my curls lately and let my hair take a few days off from hair dryers and other heat tools🥰 I have done a bit of research myself and describe my curls as about type 2C - 3A curls, meaning some of the curls are very tight while others are looser. I have tried the entire curl series from happy crazy mine and I can only say good things about the shampoo👩🏻‍🦱 I always do 2 x shampoo rounds when I wash my hair, because it is only at the 2nd shampoo round that my hair gets completely clean. After washing my hair, I quickly saw that this shampoo delivers what it promises and highlights the curls and also moisturizes the hair on the lengths😍 I love the scent, I found it to be fresh and not overwhelming like other shampoo series I have previously reviewed. Anti-frizz We love that! The only thing that I personally think brings it down from 5 to 4 is that - after using all the products in the same series, I felt that my hair was weighed down. For me, it was not possible to run my fingers through my hair. The curls were extremely nice, but it gave me the feeling that «now the curls are in place, but you must not touch them». I like that my hair feels a bit lighter when I have curls. Would I buy the products again? Yes. It is reasonably priced, they do what they promise, and it is positive that it is easy to highlight the curls when you are for example on vacation in the heat 🥰

    I thought the packaging was incredible and the shade of the highlighter was really pretty! (Had the color starstruck) 💫 However, it didn’t feel like it showed up that much and was a bit hard to get to stick to the skin properly. I’ll post a picture where I’m on the left without highlighter applied and on the right when I have this product on me, so you can decide for yourself!     Got this blush stick from DAAR in the color "pink sunset" and I loooooove the color, it applies so nicely on me and lasts well throughout the day! I love that it gives a more "cute" pink tone since I think many blush sticks can otherwise give a more "dirty pink" or apricot-like shade.     Great heat protector and frizz tamer!

    I got to test this from #kerastase in combination with other products from the Gloss series! My hair type is a mix of frizzy lengths and oily scalp, so when I use heat protection sprays, I like them to feel light in my hair, and this one does, even though it has a slightly thick consistency when sprayed on the hand (like the picture)🌸 The first impression is that this smells absolutely amazing, it’s floral and luxurious. It feels light in the hair, it softens almost immediately and moisturizes the lengths well😍For me, this is only used on the lengths and not on the scalp. All in all, a super good leave-in spray/heat protector that is easy to take with you considering the closure and feels like a little luxury treatment in everyday life!
