Sweet Summer Scent🌸
I’ve been so lucky to test this for a few weeks, so the verdict is in👩🏼⚖️ Personally, when I choose perfume, I love fresh and relatively light scents! Notes I often go for are jasmine, ylang ylang, sandalwood, tuberose, and orange blossom. Gia definitely matches one of the notes I usually look for, and this smells very much like orange blossom. The scent is sweet and quite mandarin-like. For me personally, this might be a bit too sweet, at least now in winter. This probably suits summer and sun best, so I’ll bring it out again when the warmth returns🌞 The bottle is super cute and gets to sit on display in my bathroom! Good eye cream
As a Lyko influencer, I got to test this eye cream from Beauty of Joseon and I really liked it. I have no wrinkles or particularly many fine lines, so I can't say if it worked or not, but I tend to get dry and have dark circles under my eyes, and I think this really did the job because it is easy to apply and absorbed quickly and well. The cream is a thin and light cream that resembles a gel, and I personally think it has a mild to no scent. I find it difficult to find an eye cream that doesn't give me red eyes or sting, as I am a bit sensitive under and around the eyes, and I didn't have that with this one, so I will continue to use it. I love the packaging of this (tube with pump) as the pump gives just the right amount out and makes it super economical. In the test video, you can see that I take one pump per eye, but that is just right when you are dry; otherwise, one pump actually lasts for both ❤️. I have as #lykoinflutester tested this Anstiktskremen with spf50 from beautyof joseon. And wow what a sunscreen😮😍. The skin becomes completely silky soft and is not sticky at all. It doesn't sit like a film on the skin but absorbs super quickly and it is super economical.. a small amount is enough for the whole face. I love that the tube it comes in is big enough to have the product for a long time but at the same time small enough to take it with you everywhere like in your bag and in your toiletry bag. Works just as well alone, under makeup, or over your favorite cream and not least it is completely magical together with the face cream/day cream from beauty of joseon that I had from before. In the video where I test, I test it alone on cleansed skin and I loved it ❤️ have used it mostly alone now for a couple of weeks and my skin has gotten so much better than before I started😊 My skin loves this and this is a product that has become my new favorite product so I will definitely continue to use this and not least buy again and in addition it is at a super reasonable price considering how soft the skin becomes and how economical it is :) My skin is combination and easily sensitive and I did not react to this at all other than getting a nice glow and soft skin that you want to have. Moisturizing
This is a body lotion I've heard a lot of praise about for years, but never tested myself, until now ☺️ First of all, I love when body lotion comes in a pump bottle. I prefer it over a jar, as I find it so easy to just pump out the product and apply it. The bottle has a very clean design and looks nice on the bathroom shelf. The cream itself has a very light consistency that is easy to spread. I find that it absorbs quickly into the skin, but not in a way that makes you feel like you haven't applied anything, which I often experience with other body creams. The scent is very fresh and citrusy. I have to be honest and say that citrus is not my favorite scent, but I don't think it smells too strong after it has absorbed, which is a plus for me since I'm not a huge fan of the scent. I feel soft and moisturized all day when I've applied this, and I don't get sticky, which is a big plus since I can get dressed shortly after applying. I absolutely recommend this, but I take off one star since it's not my favorite scent. Incredible color but not so pigmented
I have tested NARS The Multiple in the shade Orgasm Crave, a multifunctional makeup stick that I have primarily used as a blush stick💕 When I first opened the stick, I was completely sold on the color/shade, it was really perfeeekt, I thought! However, I felt a disappointment regarding the pigmentation. I am used to NARS products being very pigmented and providing high coverage quickly, (at least like the products I have tested before) which I appreciate because then you need less product. So I would have wished the stick was more pigmented, BUT!: To get the most out of the color/pigmentation, I quickly learned that the application technique is important. • Avoid dabbing the stick directly on the cheek (it gives too little color, which can be seen in the attached video after application with a brush). • My best tip: “Dip”/fetch color directly from the stick with your brush and then gradually build up the color on the cheek to get more color! A moisturizing gel that provides a cooling effect immediately upon application. It soothes my skin and has been my go-to in the evening to maximize moisture overnight. I’ve had a pretty damaged skin barrier this fall, and this really helps to calm my skin. It doesn’t require much product either! The only thing I could criticize is that it’s in a jar, for hygiene reasons. But that’s really a matter of taste! You get a matching spatula to avoid dipping in with your fingers, but personally, I prefer it when it’s a pump or tube. But the product itself is amazing! I got this from @lykosverige as #lykoinflutester This is deeply hydrating and soothing with a litw cooling effect. Size of the packaging is 100ml and you need so little product of this. Really economical. So it will last a long time, I've had it before and loved it. This product pair is going to be a staple! These products worked magic on my hair. I could already feel a big change in texture and hair durability in a short time. Not the best, but totally okay
I have long, thick, and curly hair that unfortunately is quite damaged after almost daily use of a straightener. Protecting my hair from heat is a given since I care about it being healthy and fresh. Therefore, it was exciting to have the opportunity to test Instant Heat Protection from Waterclouds. My first impression of the product was totally okay. The packaging is simple, and the spray itself has a fresh and summery scent that reminds me of watermelon. The scent also lingers in the hair after application, which I like. The product is supposed to not only protect the hair from heat but also provide care, shine, and volume. After testing it for a while, I must say that it protects against heat as it should, but unfortunately, I noticed no significant difference regarding volume or extra shine. The hair feels soft and fresh, but the effect is relatively subtle. A major downside is the spray bottle and applicator itself. It sprays out in a narrow stream in one spot and makes it difficult to distribute the product evenly throughout the hair. The spray contains good ingredients like argan oil, proteins, and provitamin B, which are good for the hair, but I must say that I didn’t notice any noticeable difference after use. Despite this, I think the product has some positive aspects. No blowout effect
I have long, thick, and curly hair, which often makes it challenging to get hot brushes to work optimally. Even though I have tested several similar products before, I have not experienced that they provide the effect I hope for, and this hot brush was unfortunately no exception. The brush has three different heat settings that allow you to adjust the temperature as needed. You can then switch between warm air for quick drying and cool air to set the hairstyle and maintain the shape. The result is smooth and soft hair that feels cared for, but the effect is much more subtle than the typical “blowout” look. The hair gets a natural, straight fall, without volume and a full result that one might expect. The brush has an elegant and sleek design, and the color is both modern and appealing. It comes in a nice box that gives an exclusive first impression. At the same time, I find that the brush head is quite large, which can make it difficult to use the brush on smaller areas and generally get a proper blowout throughout the hair. The cord has a practical length, which makes it easy to use the brush without it getting in the way or feeling restrictive. Given the size of the hot brush itself, I would say it is a bit impractical to carry around or take on trips. Another aspect is the noise from the brush. It makes a noticeable sound during use, which can become tiring if used for an extended period. The first few times I used it, I also noticed a burnt smell, but I think that goes away after a bit of use. All in all, the hot brush works well for drying hair and gives a nice, smooth, and cared-for result. It is a good alternative if the primary goal is to blow-dry hair effectively, but if you want a true volumized blowout, it will likely not meet expectations. I am satisfied with Neccin Anti-Dandruff Shampoo. It has a mild scent that doesn't linger in the hair and is suitable for those who are extra sensitive to fragrances. The conditioner is also quite rich, even though it naturally doesn't lather like the shampoo does. However, you don't need much product to distribute it evenly in the hair. After use, the hair becomes soft, lovely, and easy to comb through. One thing I find to be a downside, especially with the conditioner, is that the packaging is somewhat impractical. Since the conditioner has a thicker consistency, I have to shake the bottle several times to get the product out. I can imagine this becoming even more challenging when the bottle starts to get close to half full. I like the luxury feel the products give, both in the shower and afterwards. The hair becomes soft and easy to manage. At the same time, I feel that the line is probably developed more for hair that is damaged or weakened by, for example, bleaching and coloring, which my hair is not. Therefore, the products can feel a bit heavy for my fine strands. Fragrance-free and light cream
I have as #lykoinflutester gotten to try this soothing and moisturizing cream from #purito. My skin is combination with dry areas on the cheeks but with an oily T-zone, which can make it tricky to find products that work for both. It has a light and gel-like consistency that feels light on the skin. I often have problems with creams not sinking in properly, but this one is almost dry after a short time on the skin - so nice! It is also completely fragrance-free! I have a night mask from Purito (lyko.com/sv/purito/purito-luminous-ceramide-sleeping-pack-100ml) from before, and it is greasier than this one. I have almost exclusively used this cream together with this serum, also from Purito (lyko.com/sv/purito/purito-centella-unscented-serum--60-ml) plus essence from Body Shop and Naturie, during the testing period, both morning and evening. I take a pea-sized dollop of cream and massage it in after essence and serum. It comes in a LARGE packaging of 100ml (which will last for a smaller eternity), and it is very generous since many other face creams "only" are 50ml. So much product for the money!👸🏻 I would of course have preferred a packaging with a pump, but since it is so light in consistency, it works well with a tube. All in all, it is a really nice product at an incredibly good price, which would probably suit all skin types. Got tingling
In my capacity as #lykoinflutester, I got to test this cream from #purito. I have combination skin, which I personally don’t think is that sensitive, but after a few uses, I got tingling in my face during the next application. It went away in a few minutes but was uncomfortable enough that I don’t want to continue using it. Before that, I managed to note that the cream has a pretty okay consistency and works under makeup. I was very happy when I got an email from Lyko saying I would be testing products from Olaplex. I've heard sooooo much good! The first impression was very good, the bottle is simple and nice to look at. I really like the design. The conditioner is thick in consistency, and you don't need much to feel that the ends become soft. The scent is also mild, which is a big plus for me at least ☺️ The end result is also very good.
