Better than good. 😅
Last to review this time is Beauty of Joseon’s eye serum. And I really like this one too. ☺️ I have now used the eye serum for three weeks, and a bit more. I actually felt right from the first use: “I like this”! I, the reviewer, am 47 years old (since Friday/3 days ago 🤪). And have therefore gotten quite a few signs of aging due to age (of course). And certainly many years as a smoker are a contributing factor. 🙈 So skincare products that contain retinol/vitamin A are welcome to care for my skin. It was surprising to see that this contains a full 30 ml, as almost all eye creams/serums contain 15 ml. It is therefore a very affordable eye serum. Lots of product, and not a high price (especially now with 50% off). The serum comes in a tube with a pump, which is easy to handle and dose. One pump is enough for application on both eyes. I have normal to dry skin. I find that quite a bit of product comes out with one pump. But that is just right for me (with slightly drier skin). The serum absorbs easily into the skin and leaves no sticky surface. And it is supposed to be very mild according to the description. And I also get the impression that it is. But I also don’t have sensitive skin, so I usually don’t react too much when it comes to skincare. It is often recommended to acclimate the skin a few times a week to retinol. I haven’t done that. As I said, I have quite tolerant skin, and have just gone for it. From day 1. And no reactions at all. It’s possible that it’s such a low concentration that you usually don’t react to it? But results then? Yes, I think I might see a little result when it comes to the effect of retinol. A little tighter in the skin. However, it might be a bit short time to see a lot of results? I will continue with this until it runs out. And possibly it will be a purchase of this in the future. Anyway, I think it’s a really nice and affordable eye cream/serum that I can warmly recommend. Good girl blush 50ml
I got to test this perfume from #carolinaherrera. (My #lykoinflutester reviews are just as honest as the reviews I write about products I have paid for.) I was happy when I saw that I would get to test a perfume from this brand since it is the same brand as my favorite perfume (which has now been discontinued). Expensive brand though. The bottle is really cool and looks great on display. The scent is unfortunately a huge miss for me because; - It is too intense.. I like some intense scents, but this was on a heeelt different level. It lingers for a really long time (I could even smell it before I took the bottle out of the packaging), and gave me massive headaches every time I used the perfume. - It’s not my type of perfume, as I’m not that into citrus scents. It smells so suuuper much like lemon, with hints of some flower. If you like citrus and floral scents, and aren’t sensitive to fragrances at all? Then maybe this perfume is something for you.. otherwise not. Hard to see effect
I have now tried the Silk’n LED Face Mask 100 for a month, and have used it as recommended for best effect. I have therefore used it like this: - First week every 3 days for 10 minutes, red and blue light. - Second week every other day for 10 minutes, red and blue light. - Third week every other day for 15 minutes, automatic program. - Fourth week every or every other day for 15 minutes, automatic program. The mask is very flexible to use, as you can easily move freely and keep your eyes open during the treatment. The mask has protection around the eyes, which blocks out most of the light around the eyes. The mask is also soft and flexible, so it can be adjusted as you wish. Unfortunately, it is a bit too long for my face, so it is difficult to get it to fit perfectly on the eyes and mouth. I have combination and sensitive skin, with signs of acne and redness. I also struggle with some oil in the T-zone, and dehydrated skin on the cheeks. Otherwise, I have signs of fine lines on my forehead, between my eyebrows, around my eyes, and "smile lines". I hoped that the mask would improve some of these issues. As you can see in the pictures, it is not so easy to see the difference before and after a month of using the mask. I think my skin has become somewhat calmer, as it is less red and sore/warm than before. The fine lines have also become somewhat less visible. Unfortunately, I am experiencing quite a few more breakouts now than before I started using the mask. This could of course be completely coincidental, as I struggle a lot with hormonal acne. I find it a bit difficult to evaluate the effect of the mask, but I like to believe that it has a good long-term effect. Overall, I would say that it is a very simple step to potentially improve skin health, but whether it has a visible effect on me is probably a bit difficult to say now. Even though I cannot see a significant effect of the mask on my skin, it will fortunately ensure that the skincare products applied afterwards have better efficacy and penetrate better into the skin. I would therefore conclude that the mask probably works better on skin with other issues than mine, but I am hoping that it works very well as a preventive measure. #lykoinflutester #silkn

Doesn't get sticky!
I use sunscreen year-round every day. But I hate the feeling of regular sunscreen on my face. Before this, I used Heliocare, which is a favorite. But this one from Beauty Of Joseon is incredibly good! It really feels like a day cream. Not sticky or thick in consistency at all. It also melts into the skin quickly. Many day creams with SPF 50 are quite sticky or make it hard to apply makeup afterward. But not this one. It's perfect to use and then do makeup almost right away. It smells almost like nothing. This eye serum is incredibly pleasant on the skin. It is soft in consistency and has a very, very mild scent. It almost smells like nothing, but the little you can sense is a fresh tone. It’s almost a bit like gel in consistency. It melts quickly into the skin. The skin around the eyes feels very moisturized and soft. I find that the makeup sits nicer around the eyes when I use this. A big plus is that you really get a large package. It is economical, so it will last a very long time. A small pump is enough for both eyes. Fantastic sun protection without a white cast
I have used Relief Sun: Rice "+ Probiotics SPF50 before, and it is a sun product that I have really been satisfied with. It protects the skin well throughout the day while making it soft, smooth, and nicely hydrated. Only a small amount is needed to cover the entire face, so the tube lasts a long time. I also like that it can be applied to the neck and down towards the décolleté area, where it lays evenly and comfortably. The cream also works very well as a primer under makeup. It absorbs quickly, feels light on the skin, and leaves no white cast, which is a big advantage for me. I am 37 years old, and the Revive Eye Serum with Ginseng and Retinal has proven to be a fantastic help for the area around dark circles and bags under the eyes. I have been curious about LED masks ever since a friend tried to get me to test a model last year. At that time, I didn’t let myself be persuaded, but now I have been able to try the Silk’n LED Face Mask 100 for several weeks. I have always been a bit skeptical about using light and heat directly on my skin at home, so I read the instructions carefully. The manual clearly explains how to use the mask, and I gradually increased the time in line with the recommendations 🌟 It is very convenient that you can choose either the auto function or manually select the four different lights/functions. The different lights have different purposes, and this is well explained in the manual – the mask is generally very user-friendly 💗 My skin gets a bit warm and red after use. This calms down quickly, and you get used to it, but at first, it was a bit uncomfortable. The biggest downside for me is that I don’t like masks that fit tightly around the eyes – I get a bit of a claustrophobic feeling for some reason. Therefore, I think the eye area of the mask is a small downside 👀 Otherwise, the mask is made of soft silicone, which is comfortable, and the mask is relatively easy to secure with Velcro straps. The product definitely gives a luxury feel and is perfect for home spa. When it comes to visible results, I am more unsure. Thank you for letting me test this particular perfume from #carolinaherrera through #lykoinflutester. I usually don't use much perfume because I struggle to find a scent that I like on myself. But this surprised me with its scent, it seemed intense right away, but was actually just right and calmed down a bit after a while. The scent holds and lasts long, which is a big plus. The perfume is also very well liked by my 11-year-old daughter, who asks to get a spritz every now and then 🤭 The scent works well as an everyday perfume, it also fits very well for festivities. I like to use it every single day. It's become my new favorite. Difficult to describe the scent itself, but it smells "luxurious" and floral, without the typical "old lady" scent. A sunscreen worth buying ✨💕
I was recommended this a while ago, which I thought would be just like any other sunscreen. But my first experience with this was the exact opposite. Neither sticky nor too greasy like some sunscreens can be. This absorbed quickly into the skin (even with double layers, no greasy film on the skin and leaves the skin hydrated. Shall we talk about the price hello? Reasonable price with discount and without, for being a K-beauty product it fits my wallet. I have recently been using sunscreen almost every day and I’m starting to see positive changes with my skin, my hyperpigmentation is starting to fade a bit, but I will try to stick to the same routines and be more diligent with the SPF during the summer. I totally missed a pretty well-known k-beauty brand that is said to be one of the best on the market that helps to get rid of dark circles under the eyes and the eye area. The product is also said to be good for me with hyperpigmentation around the eyes, forehead, and mouth. I've been using this for just over 3 weeks - which isn't that long for a proper review, but so far I've only gotten positive vibes from it. User-friendly and comfortable but...
... in four weeks nothing exciting has happened with my skin 🙂 I have been testing this mask for four weeks now, and here comes my evaluation of the product so far. I write "so far" because such products need longer than 4 weeks to have a proper effect, so I will update in a few months. Anyway, the mask comes in a box and with an instruction manual. It charges with a USB cable but does not need to be "plugged into the wall" when you use it. You control the lighting from a device that is attached to a cord in the mask, and you can keep it in the pocket of your robe while you walk around and use it at home. There are four straps that you connect: two over the head and two behind the head, very simple! I think the fit is surprisingly good on the face. And it is easy to adjust. I have only used the manual function and have exclusively run with red light. There is red, blue, yellow, and purple light, all of which help the skin with different "problems", and these are clearly indicated in the instruction manual. It also states how to choose the setting for the skin at the mask, and there are different schedules for the first four weeks. The manual function runs for 10 minutes on your chosen color, and the automatic function runs all four colors at different intervals for a total of 15 minutes. I have strictly followed the schedule and have not had any reactions other than a little redness for a while after the first uses. However, I have unfortunately not had any direct POSITIVE reactions or changes either, as the skin has been about the same as usual. Yes, the headline speaks for itself, but of course there will be an explanation for it. ☺️ Beauty of joseon’s spf became incredibly popular, praised, and viral two years ago (if I remember correctly). I didn’t jump on the bandwagon back then, and didn’t buy or test it. But now I am! And I understand now why ”Dalla” loved/loves it. I’ve heard before that you don’t need to use regular day cream if you’re using spf/sunscreen. I’ve tested both with day cream underneath, and without. It has worked well without day cream underneath. But since I tend to have dry skin, I’ve mostly used day cream underneath. So, I don’t think it can be said too much! But this one is really faaaaantastic!!! The cream is very light in consistency. But despite that, I haven’t felt dry on my skin, the times I haven’t had day cream underneath. It feels like it softens/moisturizes effectively, while the cream doesn’t leave any greasy or sticky surface on the skin. It works absolutely fantastic under makeup. I usually use clarins skin illusion (foundation). It doesn’t stick or roll in any way. 🙌 When it comes to scent, the cream is almost scent-free. I can’t smell much anyway. Maybe a slight delicate scent that reminds me of soap? The tube is easy to apply from, as it is made of soft plastic. If there’s anything that could be better, it’s that I find it desirable that all tubes should have snap caps (even this one). And not screw caps. And that the cream has ”full” spf 50 is super-duper-great! 😅 Now it’s recommended that you should use spf every day. All year round. But I would have liked to properly test this as spf. E.g. on a sunny vacation. Now it’s not really the right season for that, as one (I) is hardly exposed to the sun at all. So therefore, I only give it four stars. Because I can’t actually assess how it is as sun protection when the skin is properly exposed to the sun. Immediate Effect
I have tried this eye serum as #lykoinflutester. The serum is economical in use and easy to distribute. Light consistency that is neither completely cream nor completely serum. I really like the pump function on the tube, but it makes it almost difficult to take just the right amount. The first impression was good. I experienced that the lines were reduced quite immediately after application (see the picture). After using the product for just over 2 weeks, I wished for a more long-lasting result. I also have problems with dry skin around the eyes in the fall/winter. This serum made the areas worse, so I had to stop using the serum in week 3. In summary: totally okay serum, has immediate effect, I need help with moisture from my regular eye cream in addition, I want long-lasting effect. It says it can be used all over the face, but then the tube becomes very economical. My sensitive skin unfortunately says no to this
I have tested this serum for the eyes and unfortunately I can't write much about the result except for what I will write below 😔 I read some comments before about this and saw that many experienced reactions and swollen eyes 😬 I myself have quite sensitive skin, so I decided to do a little test on another part of my face before I fully tested this product. It was lucky that I did that because I also had a reaction with redness and itching on the spot I tested. (Size like a five-cent coin on the lower part of my cheek near the jawline) Unfortunately, I didn't manage to take a picture of this as I quickly needed to put on makeup and get to work. That said, my skin is very sensitive in certain areas (I have typical rosacea), so in some way it doesn't do this serum justice to rate it completely because of how it reacted to me. Pro: It comes in a handy tube with a pump. Con: You have to be a little careful as it can come out a bit too much, and you also have to pump a few times before anything comes out. Pro 2: It is basically odorless, which is really great! And also the price! Light and lovely consistency
I have tried this sunscreen as #lykoinflutester. October and November are not the best time to test sunscreen on, so I don't know how it works in the sun yet. I really like the light consistency, it's easy to spread and absorbs well into the skin. Therefore, it's nice to put makeup over it as well. For me, this could work as a day cream in the summer. Just be a little careful that this light cream can come out of the tube a bit quickly. I also like the simple and clean design. Looking forward to trying this at Easter! Finally! I got to try this super nice sunscreen and I am really not disappointed! With my problematic skin that is red as a tomato constantly (rosacea-ish), it is super important to have sun protection. Or yes, it is actually important even if you don’t have problem skin. If it weren’t annoying to have red, sensitive skin, it would also be oily, so makeup easily slides off or you look like you’ve dived into a butter package after a while. I have therefore had a really hard time finding sunscreen that doesn’t irritate, sits like a film, and makes my face even oilier. This product is light, absorbs quickly into the skin but without becoming a film over the face. It has no strong scent and seems to work well with my face without much fuss. The price is also very nice. If there’s something that feels a bit off, it’s that I thought the tube didn’t feel completely full like new. But other than that, a really good product! Unfortunately, there is currently no sun to speak of outside, so I have to refer to previous reviews for the SPF part of this product 😅😊 The product itself has a nice, light consistency that quickly absorbs into the skin after you apply it. Feels neither sticky nor heavy, gives a nice glow, and the skin feels hydrated. Works well under makeup & as a step in the regular skincare routine. However, I have noticed that I have gotten a bit of a rash on my cheek that itches now and then, since this is the only new product, I suspect it is the culprit, or it reacts with some of the other products in my "routine". Revive eye serum
I’m a rare eye serum user, so I looked at previous comments and tips, and luckily there were 😊 There were tips about starting with 1 time a week to get the skin used to it, especially if you’re sensitive. So that’s what I’ve done. I think the consistency is just the right thinness and easy to apply, it absorbs quickly into the skin. A positive is definitely that it doesn’t smell like anything. 👍🏻😊 I haven’t noticed any major difference yet, I probably need to use it a lot more before I see results.
