💥I have tested this Gloss coat from Maria Nila and wow, it delivers on its promises!! 👉My hair: Thin, a bit dry on the lengths but gets oily quickly at the roots. However, no problem with frizz so I can't say how it performs in that regard. I LOVE when I find products that give shine to my hair, because shiny hair is something I really strive for. 🧴About the packaging: Such a lovely and delightful bottle, just the appearance puts me in a good mood. The pump is perfect, just the right mist comes out and the distribution of the mist is really good! 🍎Scent: Of the three products I have tested from Maria Nila, I appreciate this scent the most. Not strong at all, just fresh and light. You can read that the scent notes are red apple, freesia, and sandalwood. No favorite for me
I have now tried this spray for a while on my hair. It is a spray that contains oil. It becomes like a finish spray that you apply to your hair as your last step with oil in it that is supposed to give shine and a bit of hold. The bottle was very easy to use, and it comes out as a soft spray that makes it easy to distribute throughout the hair. It has a slight faint scent that I thought smelled quite nice. Unfortunately, I don't think it did much for my hair. My hair just felt more coarse afterwards. However, it did help my hair stay in place a little better, but unfortunately not much more than that. LOVE the scent
It's described as a refreshing hair mist and couldn't have said it better myself. I read some reviews down here where some don't like the scent, I am NOT one of them. I love it?? It's perfect? Smells fresh and soft at the same time, and the scent lasts in my extensions all day while my own hair lets it go a bit faster, maybe after 5 hours? I love the feeling of walking past someone who you just feel has hair that smells so incredibly freshly washed, and I really think this does that. Absolutely a new favorite in my hair care routine! This product from Maria Nila is also a hit! I use it after I wash my hair, and it gives shine to my hair. Also for my extensions, which usually tend to be quite dull and lifeless after the shower. I have lost quite a bit of hair for a while now, and I am finally starting to get it back, but that means I have some short hair strands on top of my head that can be perceived as frizz, but they are not. On the other hand, all the other frizz that is usually very visible shows a noticeable difference with this product! I love the color of the bottle, the scent is lovely, a perfect spray when you spray, and a big plus is that it has heat protection in it! Too dry and damaged hair
I had a whim a few weeks ago and put in extensions, so when I found out I would be testing some products for hair, I was so happy! This means I can give you both a review for those with extensions and without! Because if there’s one thing an extension requires, it’s products that moisturize and repair! This product is just for repairing hair, and I really feel like I get a more manageable hair after I’ve washed it and put this in! However, when I put it in dry hair, I feel more like it lays like a film over the hair, so for me, both my own hair and the extensions have appreciated having it in after a wash instead! The hair gets a shine and looks healthy right after use 💚 A BIG plus is that it has heat protection in it, perfect for me who always blow-dries my hair right after washing it. I obviously love it when my hair is shiny, and I've had several different products that have that function. Some better than others, like this one! My hair has bleached highlights and is really long, so of course it gets dry, especially with the dry air now in winter that pulls moisture out of the hair. So fun to get to try a product from Maria Nila that works well! This is my favorite of the new products I've tried, and I understand why it's popular, and I think it will continue to be for many. A really light spray with great distribution when I spray the shine spray on my hair when I press the pump. It also provides protection for the hair color, gives a bit of moisture, and has heat protection! With a lovely scent that I really like, a bit fruity with a touch of floral, says my nose🌸 The bottle is one of the better ones I've tested spraying with, it looks appetizing and fits in shape and color for summer. But of course, it works year-round! So easy and effective. My hair looks healthy, and I don't have to worry about taking too much, which several similar products can often be a bit stronger with the risk of making the hair greasy quickly. Natural Glow!
✨ I have as #lykoinflutester tested the Futurist Blushmaker from #esteelauder in the shade Across The Dancefloor! ✨ The first thing I reacted to was actually the color. Based on the pictures, I had expected a more muted, slightly subdued mauve, but in reality, it is significantly more vibrant and almost leaning towards coral for me. It is absolutely a nice color, but not quite what I had imagined. The formula, however, is very nice. It feels silky and easy to work with, and it is pigmented without being hard to control. It’s easy to build up the intensity in layers without it getting patchy. The finish is radiant and gives an even, soft glow without visible glitter. It looks more like a healthy glow. It melts nicely into the base and gives a fresh impression right away. On my skin, it sits well throughout the day and retains both color and glow without getting patchy. The packaging is also very special and feels a bit more luxurious. However, I don’t quite understand the point of the metal tip. ✨ I have as #lykoinflutester tested the Double Wear Stay-In-Place Makeup from #esteelauder in the shade 2N2 Buff! ✨ I have used the older version before, so I was very curious to try this one, but the experience was actually a bit different than I had expected. For starters, I find that the shade is both yellower and much darker than I anticipated. This is probably my fault as I didn’t see pictures of the shade beforehand and went by the description “light-medium.” On my skin, which leans more neutral/light warm, it didn’t quite balance out in undertone as I had hoped, which is good to keep in mind if you are sensitive to yellow tones and pale. It will surely be a much better match in the spring when I get darker and warmer in my skin. The consistency is still relatively thin and pigmented, but unlike the older version, I feel that this one is a bit more cakey and a little harder to blend out evenly. I need to work faster and more carefully to avoid it setting before I’ve had time to work it in properly, and it can easily become patchy. The coverage is high and it definitely evens out the skin tone effectively, but I find that it really emphasizes texture, especially on the drier areas of my combination skin. The finish is matte and very “long-wear,” but I don’t experience the same smooth, almost skin-like feel that I remember from the previous version. The wear is still good and it stays in place throughout the day, but the overall impression was unfortunately not quite as impressive as I had hoped. In summary, this is a foundation with high coverage and good wear, but keep in mind that the shade may appear yellower/darker than expected and that the formula may require a bit more work during application. ✨ I have as #lykoinflutester tested the Double Wear Stay-In-Place Concealer from #esteelauder in the shade 2N! ✨ I found the shade to be a bit darker and yellower than I expected, as I didn't see any pictures when I chose the color, but it will surely match great for spring. I am neutral to slightly warm when I am pale, It still blends nicely into my skin tone and works well both under the eyes and on imperfections. The formula is on the thicker and drier side, but not as dry as the foundation in the same series. It feels pigmented and compact, and it is really very economical. Small dabs are enough for a medium-high coverage! I think it is impressively covering without looking heavy or cakey on the skin. It blends out very seamlessly and melts into the base without leaving sharp edges. The result is even and smooth without it being obvious that you have concealer on. The wear is also really good and stays where it should throughout the day without losing coverage. I only have a little loose powder over where my concealer usually creases. In summary, this is a covering and long-lasting concealer that lasts a long time and gives a natural result despite its higher coverage. Light mist that works strengthening💚!
I always use products that strengthen my hair and have tried many of that kind of products. So I thought it was exciting to get to try this nice green spray that I was curious about before it popped up as a test product with me. The color is delicious, and Maria Nila is a good Swedish hair care brand🌱 My hair is really long and has bleached highlights. It mostly consists of many thin hair strands. Since the hair is long and bleached, I need to use strengthening hair care for the hair to be strong. Right upon use, I feel that my hair becomes stronger with the mist and less brittle. Even though the spray is light and absolutely does not weigh my hair down, I get a bit more moisture in my hair at the same time. I haven't washed my hair in a whole week in the clip and have doused it with this mist and also several leave-in products every day! So it is a strengthening product that suits those who want a lot of volume since it is so light on the hair. My hair is actually a bit wavy when it gets damp and not completely straight, but I prefer to have it flat and shiny for the most part, so I work on having it that way and am not so afraid of it getting heavy really. But I am still glad that I can add to it every day in my hair after a time with cold winter and really dry air that makes the hair more brittle. For me, it works in both wet and dry hair. It contains heat protection, which is a good bonus! The spray has a pretty strong scent at first, but it settles down after a while. I would call it a typical salon scent. For my part, I would have wished for the same scent as the fine Repair series from Maria Nila has from before. Hair Mist with a Fruity Scent🍓🍑🍉🥝
A pink hair mist that is being released under the current mist trend. Feels super fun to try, and on first test, I thought it was a bit too sweet, but now my nose thinks the scent is a strong three. It’s a fresh and really fruity scent, a young scent that reminds me of another pink mist my 13-year-old niece uses and loves. But just like many other things, some products work for both of us. I’m a real hair care nerd, trying and eagerly following new releases in hair care and have demanding hair. And just like many, I have my habits. I didn’t know about this mist before I tested it, but I was aware of the two other exciting releases from Maria Nila that I also tested at the same time. I would love to have an effect from the hair care I use, and sometimes it has a scent I appreciate. This is for me primarily a product I wouldn’t call hair care because the moisture it provides is so light, but it’s easy to add and use on top of other hair care anywhere. Futurist Blushmaker Shade: Meet-Cute
As #lykoinflutester I got to try this blush from #esteelauder. 🤑 I'm not really into cream products, I think it gets too many layers and everything just turns into a mess. But this product has really surprised me and made me change my mind. 💥 The consistency is at first almost like a lip gloss, very "thick" and sticky. But once you start working with the product, it's easy and then it feels almost weightless on the skin. 💋 Good pigment but not too good 😅. I have tested Gloss Coat from Maria Nila, a heat-activated treatment that is supposed to provide shine, reduce frizz, and protect against heat up to 230 °C. 🙋 My hair Fine, Nordic, and easy to weigh down. Dry in the lengths and sensitive to moisture. ✨ What does the product do? Gloss Coat is applied to damp hair before blow-drying and is activated by heat. It is supposed to: * Smooth the hair * Control frizz * Protect against moisture * Provide shine that lasts up to 4 days After blow-drying, I find that my hair becomes noticeably smoother and gets a nice, even shine. I have as #lykoinflutester tested this bond builder leave-in for a few weeks. 🙌🏻 I, who is testing Nordic fine hair, easy to weigh down. The lengths are dry and the ends break off easily, so I am always careful with strengthening products. ✨ About the product This is a strengthening and repairing leave-in that is supposed to work with the hair's bonds while providing heat protection up to 230 degrees. The idea is that it should both protect and gradually strengthen the hair. I have mainly used it before brushing and styling, which has worked best for me. Great formula
I was honestly quite surprised by the scent of Caramel Crush. It smells exactly like you would imagine something called caramel – like pure caramel sauce. Very authentic and very gourmand. I usually prefer fruity/floral scents and was therefore a bit nervous about whether the heavy, sweet caramel scent would linger on the skin in a somewhat "icky sweet" way. Fortunately, it did not. Although you can still catch a whiff of the caramel after the shower, it is much cleaner and milder on the skin than you would think. It doesn't become cloying or heavy, but rather soft and pleasant. The consistency is very reminiscent of Rituals' shower foams – it comes out like a gel and lathers up to a rich mousse. I sometimes find that Rituals' variants leave my skin a bit dry afterward, but I didn't have that problem at all here. On the contrary, my skin felt soft and pleasant after the shower. I have been so lucky to test L’Oréal's new Telescopic mascara through Lyko ❤️ First, I have to give an extra little plus point to L’Oréal for a super nice and sleek packaging that, in my opinion, looks like it belongs backstage at fashion week. 😍 Unfortunately, the mascara falls a bit flat in my eyes. I have quite short and thin lashes with little volume. So a mascara for me needs to work a little extra hard to impress me. At first impression, I was impressed by the length it gives, but in my experience, it made my lashes a bit heavy and they lost their curl. I will give plus points for it being easy to build up from a natural result to a more dramatic effect, if desired. I love that the brush reaches all small and large lashes. But I must admit that I am a «bold school» mascara girl, so a rubber brush is unfortunately not for me. Soft lips but sour taste and difficult applicator
I have now tested this lip serum for a couple of weeks and it's time to share my opinions🌷 I think the product does what it’s supposed to, the lips feel very soft, smooth, and hydrated after use. However, I haven't had such dry lips during this testing period, which is good to keep in mind. There are two things I don’t like about this serum: the taste and the applicator. It clearly states in the description that the product has a sour taste, which may be unavoidable. However, I really don’t like it, and it contributes to me not wanting to use it. I don’t like the applicator because I find it difficult to use, and you almost have to apply the product to your hand/a finger to then rub it on your lips. I, who don’t like mess, would have preferred a different packaging where you can more easily apply the product directly to the lips. Surprisingly Effective Product
I have wanted to test the Volufiline product for a while, so I was excited to get to try the product! The first impression was good, the product clearly has an oily but nourishing consistency ❤️❤️❤️ I am 35 years old, a woman with normal/combination skin. The first fine lines are particularly visible around the eyes, and I am looking for products that provide light plumpness without a heavy feeling. 😍😍😍 I used the product for 14 days morning and night after my face cream. The application spots were under the eyes, on the forehead, and a little on the lips. The product was easy to dose, and a small amount was sufficient at a time.
