Affordable and good!
I have tested this round brush for a couple of weeks and really like it. It can both style the hair straight and add some bounce at the ends. It depends a bit on how you use it. What I really like about it is that you can adjust how much power you want on the blow and on the heat. If my hair is very wet, I have max blow and max heat. If I want to style the bangs when the hair is dry, I can lower the blow but keep the heat. Great! It’s easy to use. The hair glides easily through the brush, and the brush is soft so it’s easy to get all the way down to the scalp. It’s incredibly affordable. You get a really good product for the money! The only downside I have is that the handle is a bit bulky and you easily hit the buttons while styling. So the heat and blow change. In my role as #lykoinflutester, I got to test two products from Paula's Choice, a brand I used frequently a few years ago but that has somewhat faded from my routine lately. So it was extra fun to rediscover an old favorite. I'm almost a bit obsessed with always having something on my lips (gloss, balm, lipstick, or cerate, it really doesn't matter), even though I rarely have dry lips. The only times it happens is if I've used a drying product or when the weather is extremely cold or hot. The Pro-Collagen Peptide Gloss Balm is described as a 3-in-1 product combining lip treatment, lip balm, and lip gloss. It is also supposed to give the lips a plumper feel, but I actually don't notice that effect. However, that's not something that bothers me. I really like the applicator. It is slimmer and more precise than many other similar products, which makes application easy and pleasant. It feels light and smooth, not clumsy at all. The formula itself is a bit thicker than many other gloss balms, which means you need to press a little harder on the tube to get the product out, but that's not a problem, just unusual. On the lips, the product feels wonderfully comfortable, not particularly sticky or tacky. It gives a nice shine that feels neither too much nor too little. The shade Toasted Vanilla gives a subtle brown color that suits both everyday and party occasions. It also has a mild and pleasant vanilla scent. The only thing I wish is that the product lasted a bit longer on the lips. Unfortunately, it disappears quite quickly on me, which means I need to reapply more often than I would like. A really lovely lip product with a nice feel, beautiful shine, and a smooth applicator. Great scent that lasts long
Love the scent! I wondered, how does pistachio smell as a "perfume"? 😅 Was positively surprised. Really liked the scent. It’s not "light", more like a bit "strong", but that suits me perfectly. I have, as a #lykoinflutester, gotten to try the Infrared Blowout Air Brush #bylyko 💖 The blow-dry brush comes nicely packaged in pink and is white and silver. It’s big but light. I don’t have direct experience styling hair with a round brush before, so it’s a bit hard to compare. However, I find it a bit difficult to really get waves/curls with it. I have a bit of natural wave in a pretty typical Scandinavian hair. No matter how I do it, my hair always gets straighter with this one. But it’s quite possible that’s more about me than the tool. Where it really shines for me is when I use it for its blow-dry function. After washing, I first towel-dry my hair, let it air dry a bit more, and then blow-dry through my hair with the brush upside down. That gives me a nice volume boost and some extra shine. It’s quick and easy too 👌 It’s a bit noisy. Not surprisingly loud for this type of product and at an okay level, I think. I sometimes accidentally hit the buttons for temperature and wind strength during use. The brush itself feels good with long classic hairbrush bristles with little balls on the tips and thinner, softer bristles further in. It doesn’t feel like it pulls unnecessarily. For its price, I would definitely be happy with it as a purchase. As a Lyko influencer tester, I have had the chance to try the Core Styler 5-in-1 Air Tool from By Lyko for a while now and I’m positively surprised! 🧖♀️ A great product that makes hair styling very simple and easy! An all-in-one product that really does the job and is at the same time light and handy! Wow, I say! What a thing 💁♀️🤩👌 Love that it’s a 5-in-1 product where you get both a hairdryer, paddle brush, round brush, and autowrap (curls for both directions) easy to change the nozzle and style from wet hair to either curly or shaped as you want! ⭐️ Extra plus for the lightness and I think the product is both nice and works excellently 👌 I like when things are easy to use, simple to learn how they work, and give a good result without much effort! I love the hairdryer and autowrap the most, I also like the round brush even though it hasn’t been used as much. The only thing I don’t really use or get to work is the paddle brush. Didn’t quite get it right and still like the others more so it felt a bit overpowering! A super nice product that I will continue to use for a long time to come! The only “negative” I can think of is that the nozzles get quite hot, so if you want to change, for example, the autowrap, you have to wait a bit so they’re not too hot. Very good face cream
I have been looking at and considering testing products from #paulaschoice lately, so when I as a #lykoinflutester now got the chance to test some products, I was very excited. First of all, I think the packaging with the bright pink color was a fresh and nice product to have out. And what for me is the biggest plus is the way you take the product out. You don’t have to put your fingers in or use a separate spatula to get the product from the jar. You just press the lid and then the cream comes up and lays on top. So hygienic! Also a big plus that it doesn’t really smell much. No perfume. When I first tried it, I was a bit skeptical since it seemed quite greasy in consistency. But as soon as I spread it out, it became so light and nice in texture. It absorbs well into the skin. I have added this to my regular skincare routine, as the last step before sunscreen during the day. Finally something that works on my lips
I very rarely use anything on my lips, not even lip balm, because I always end up with blisters/canker sores after a couple of uses. This one from #paulaschoice, however, has given me nothing but soft and nice lips💋 I love the nice scent and taste of caramel-like vanilla🥰 And the soft and nice texture is lovely. The color is very natural and pretty. I don’t notice any plumping effect, but I’m not looking for that anyway, so it doesn’t bother me. The only downside for me is the applicator tip itself. I find that product collects on the sides during application. I have to wipe it off with my fingers so it doesn’t get messy inside the cap. I was pleasantly surprised by this one! The scent is fruity, tropical, and quite sweet, but in a fresh way that doesn’t become cloying. It really gives a summer feeling and reminds me of sun, vacation, and warm places. I like that it’s easy to use both in the hair and on the body, and convenient to keep in the beach bag. The scent isn’t the longest lasting, but I don’t expect that from a body mist, and it’s easy to spray on again throughout the day! Affordable!!
My first impression of the Infrared Blowout Air Brush was very positive. I usually use a Dyson Airwrap, so I was very curious to see how this one would compare. What I like right away is that it feels very easy to use and that you don’t have to hold both a hairdryer and a round brush at the same time. However, I haven’t tried actually drying my hair from wet with it, but have used it on hair that was already mostly dry to style and shape it. Therefore, I can’t really say much about how well it works as a replacement for a regular hairdryer. About me👱♀️ As I mentioned earlier, I have natural waves and bleached hair that easily becomes both dry and frizzy. I usually use the Dyson Airwrap, which gives slightly more defined curls compared to this product. Usage✨ I think it’s very easy to use, doesn’t weigh much, and I like that there are several heat and speed settings to choose from. However, these are controlled with regular push buttons, which means I accidentally press them while using it. I find it gets hotter than my Dyson, but cooler than, for example, a curling iron. At the same time, I actually think the noise level is about the same, so I didn’t notice much difference between the two (which is a good thing!). One thing I do think lowers the rating a bit is the size of the brush itself. I find it a bit too big for my hair, which makes the hair easily become quite flat instead of getting that really airy and slightly wild blowout feeling I had hoped for. It’s definitely possible to get some volume at the roots, but I would have liked to see a slightly smaller brush to more easily get closer to the scalp and shape the hair more. Result💖 Despite that, I think the result is very nice. The hair becomes smoother, softer, and less frizzy, and it’s significantly faster to get a finished look than if I were to work with a regular hairdryer and round brush. For me, the rating lands at 4 out of 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐. I like that it’s easy to use and how simple it is to get the hair smoother and more styled. What keeps it from getting a full score is mainly that I think the brush is a bit too big, which makes my hair flatter than I’d like. Considering the price, it’s definitely worth a recommendation!! Auto-wrap for the win!
Overall, I really liked this product and all the different attachments it comes with. The design and color are so beautiful. The light beige aesthetic looks really nice and makes the whole product feel very elegant and high-quality Nothing feels too heavy, and everything was pretty easy to use without being complicated. It’s also really easy to remove and switch between the different attachments while styling. You don’t have to worry about your hair getting sucked into the tool or accidentally burning yourself. I also have to mention the packaging, everything arrived so nicely presented, definitely 10/10 ☁️ Drying nozzle: Really easy to use. You can adjust both the heat and the strength of the airflow depending on what you prefer. It feels quite fancy to use, and my hair dried pretty quickly ☁️ Round brush: I really liked this attachment as well. It was easy to use, and the airflow helps a lot while styling. Even though the whole tool is quite long with the attachment on, it still feels practical and lightweight ☁️ Paddle brush: This was the only attachment I found a little difficult to use. The brush itself is good, but once you turn on the airflow, your hair can start flying everywhere. You might be brushing one section while the rest of your hair is blowing into your face. It’s also a little tricky if you want to keep switching the airflow on and off while brushing to prevent this ✨ Auto-wrap: For me, this was definitely the best part of the whole product. My hair is thin and silky, so it’s usually difficult for brushes or styling tools to catch my hair without it slipping out straight away. The auto-wrap attachments are amazing because they wrap the hair around the barrel by themselves, without you having to manually twist your hair around it. Fantastic for the price!
I am really positively surprised by the By Lyko Infrared Blowout Air Brush, especially considering the price. The heat doesn’t get so intense that I feel it burns or overheats my hair, and the brush itself glides easily through the hair without pulling or tugging. At the same time, it’s effective enough that I can get my hair dried relatively quickly. The only thing I didn’t really experience was the big volume. I naturally have very thick and strong hair, which is also quite heavy, so it’s generally difficult for me to get my hair to hold a lift – and that’s actually not something I experience with this kind of styling tools in general. Therefore, I wouldn’t necessarily hold that against the brush itself. My friend with fine, Scandinavian hair also tried it before we went out, and on her hair, it gave the nicest lift and a really beautiful blowout effect. All in all, I think it’s a really good styling tool for the price. It’s easy to use, dries the hair effectively, and feels gentle during styling. Shiny and smooth hair with this
This blow out heated brush has been very well received by me! Infrared light has generally been marketed as something gentle and even as something "repairing." If you want to buy this because of the infrared light/heat, note that the only thing that can really repair your hair is a cut, deep care, and less heat on the hair. I was super excited about this, I haven't tested anything similar and have been a bit hesitant about different types regarding price and whether I needed it. Simple, handy, and really good results
This hot air tool has really surprised me positively. It’s insanely easy to use, and I especially like that you can go from towel-dried hair to finished styling with the same tool. You really save time by being able to start curling and styling before the hair is 100% dry, which is great for me since I have quite thick and long hair that usually takes a very long time to dry. For me, it takes about 20 minutes from towel-dried to fully styled hair. The dryer has good power, and the curling irons handle even thicker hair strands without needing to divide the hair into tiny sections. This makes the drying and styling process quick. I also like the brush that comes with it. It’s perfect when you focus on one section at a time while drying the hair, and at the same time, you can detangle knots. However, it’s not quite as good as a regular brush + dryer because the hair blows away a bit from the brush if you don’t hold the sections firmly. My absolute favorite feature is the curling irons. There’s a nozzle for each side, which makes it easy to get an even hairstyle with curls away from the face. I also find that the styling holds better than when I use a regular curling iron, while the result feels airier and more natural. The curls don’t look so “done,” but more like a soft, voluminous blowout. I also think the actual switching between the different tools is very smooth. There’s a button that makes it easy to release and change the nozzle, and a part of the tool that doesn’t get hot that you can hold. It’s a small detail but makes a big difference when you’re styling and want to switch quickly between functions. The cold air button is also a big plus! It’s really good for finishing the styling and helping to set the result, and it’s easy to use by just holding the button instead of having to press multiple times to switch between heat settings. The only thing I would note is that it takes a little time before the air actually gets really cold. The dryer is also very nice looking. It feels well thought out, handy, and easy to use without needing to be especially experienced at styling hair to get a good result. Infrared Airbrush 🤩
I had to build up the courage to start using it – but it was not difficult to use at all. Nor heavy. It makes a bit of noise, but my regular hairdryer is much louder. I love that it doesn’t get hot in the same way a hairdryer or flat iron does, and it starts on the same setting you turned it off on. It comes with a really good manual, and it works even on thick hair. I towel-dried my hair but then had no trouble drying it quickly with the brush. My only downside is that it didn’t get along with my crazy cowlick at the back of my hair, so that part didn’t get really smooth.
