Had a bit of expectations for this, as it was very "hyped" before launch. As a #lykoinflutester, I got to try this moisturizer from #plyskin. At the start of the testing period, I used all three products (cleanser, serum, and day cream). I experienced breakouts on my chin, on my upper lip, and around my nose. I tested again with one product at a time. I concluded that it was this cream I reacted to. I've never reacted like this to a cream before. I think regardless that this cream is not intended for my age (43 years) or skin type (normal-combination). I feel that the cream doesn't absorb properly and work deeply, and it doesn't give my skin what it needs. That doesn't mean it can't be good for others. I like the simplicity of the tube and that the cream is economical in use.

First of all: I have been a huge fan of pure squalane oil from another brand for probably ten years now. I use squalane on the eye area, on the rest of my face after serum and moisturizer, in the lengths of my hair, and on dry cuticles. Squalane is a so-called stable oil that does not oxidize easily, and it should be able to penetrate quite well into the skin compared to oils from e.g. rosemary and olive tree 🌿 In Dual Essence from Sensai, there is fortunately a portion of squalane, how much is uncertain, but it is at least first on the ingredient list. Unfortunately, olive oil has also snuck into the serum. A Google search shows that olive oil is not particularly stable and should be stored cool in a light-tight container to increase shelf life (the latter also applies to squalane). This bottle is made of uncolored glass, so that should be taken into account. Olive oil is also not my first choice for use on the face - there are simply better ingredients, like the mentioned squalane. Otherwise, on the ingredient list, we unfortunately also find other less friendly ingredients (that maybe not everyone can tolerate either) - linalool, dimethicone, perfume, alcohol, and various plant extracts. Several of these are known allergens, and alcohol is directly drying 😱 The perfume, however, gives the product that little extra in its own way - it smells like an exclusive spa, and I can somewhat like that! Just not on my face, and definitely not at night 🙈 The perfume would have been lovely in a shower gel, for example 💕 I have therefore used Sensai Dual Essence occasionally on my face during the day to get a bit of variation in products, and in the lengths of my hair. That way, I get the nice scent in a suitable amount and don’t have to think too much about whether I will react to any of the ingredients. The glow it gives is also nice, I guess dimethicone contributes a bit there. The serum provides a nice base for face makeup 💖👃🏻 It is written about the ingredient koishimaru silk royal, which Google tells me is a type of silkworm that spins particularly thin silk threads. Uncertain what this does for the skin? 🤔 The price is something very special for me 🙈 It’s nice to treat yourself to a little extra sometimes, but for me, function is most important when it comes to skincare and cosmetics in general 🧵‍♀️ Here I don’t quite see what makes this serum worth the money. I’m so happy I tried this product. It solves my almost daily problem whenever I feel like I don’t want to wash my hair, then I just spray this dry shampoo, it even covered my gray hairs lol and bam! As a #lykoinflutester, I have been tasked with testing this pre-treatment. My hair is thin and fine, but dry and needs lots of moisture, while products with a lot of moisture often weigh it down, so I often have a hard time finding the perfect products. This pre-treatment is supposed to remove product buildup and lime from the hair. We have our own well with lots of lime, so I was really looking forward to testing this product. The consistency is quite thin and easy to distribute in the hair. You need to use quite a bit, but it feels okay since it doesn't need to be used every time. The scent is heavy and a bit musky. It smells like a perfume store, so if you're very sensitive to scents, I wouldn't recommend it. Together with other products, it becomes very strong, and you can smell it for several days. Fortunately, the product can be used with other products, so I've used other shampoos and conditioners while testing it, and it works great, and the scent isn't as strong. Shampoos usually lather very little when the water is hard, but after using this, you get a lovely lather, and the hair feels super clean. The only downsides are the price and the scent, but overall, it's really a product that works! #kerastase

As a #lykoinflutester, I received the Total Lip Treatment Stick from #Sensai 😍 I am above average fond of lip balm (maybe closer to addicted) and always have one readily available! I have used CrazyRumors for the last 3 years, and various pharmacy lip balms before that, so this is so far the most expensive and exclusive one I have used ✨ I have tested the lip balm every day for 2 weeks and am quite satisfied. I feel my lips have become softer and I haven't needed to apply as often as I usually do. But I haven't noticed much else and think this is a lip balm that needs to be used over a long time before you really see the effect ⏳ ➕ The consistency is soft, it feels nice to apply and makes the lips silky soft ✨ ➕ It lays a protective layer, without feeling uncomfortable and lasts a decent amount of time ➕ Suitable for all lips, but especially good for us over 35 as it contains Koishimaru silk and is anti-aging 😇 ➕ The design and packaging are pretty and simple, and of good quality ➕ Can be used as a primer under lipstick, which gives a smoother surface and a nicer result ➕ Fragrance-free - has no taste or smell ➕ 655kr is expensive for a lip balm, despite the good qualities ➖ Not vegan ➖ According to EthicalElephant, Sensai cannot be considered «cruelty free» because their products are tested on animals in countries like China 💔 But if you can afford it, this lip balm is definitely recommended; it gives silky soft lips and is supposed to smooth out wrinkles over time ✨✨✨✨

I am really satisfied with the result and the glow it gives 😍 I think the product is really nice under makeup or as a highlighter on cheeks or collarbones! As a #lykoinflutester, I got to try this cream and I am positively surprised! I am usually a real dry skin person and I like a thick cream before makeup and after cleansing. I usually use WELEDA skin food and love it, this cream reminds me a lot of Weleda with its moisture, but this one is not as greasy and "thick" in its consistency, which I appreciate. So a good cream that gives a moisture boost and gives glow. 4/5!

As a #lykoinflutester, I got to test this cleanser! The cleanser is easy to apply with its pump and gives a light lather that removes dirt and impurities. When wearing makeup, I used it 2 times in a row to get everything out deeply! I think the cleanser does the job and feels nice on the skin, creates a liiiittle sting in the eyes. But overall, good cleansing for its price. 4/5!

I have been using By Lyko Why Dry Hydrating Conditioner for a few weeks now, and for someone with thin and dry Nordic hair, this is my first impression of the product: The conditioner feels light and makes the hair not feel heavy or greasy after use. This is especially good for thin hair that can easily become flat, at least for me. After use, the hair feels softer and easier to comb through and looks healthier, and the hair gets a nice shine without looking greasy. I have been using Lyko's Why Dry Hydrating Shampoo for a while now, and I must say that I am satisfied with the results. I feel that the shampoo absorbs quickly into dry hair and provides decent moisture; it also has a good and rich consistency and lathers very, very well, making my hair feel extra clean after use. My hair is thin, fine, and quite dry at the ends, and I feel this has improved it somewhat. One of the best things about this shampoo is how good and "clean" it smells. My hair feels not only clean but also pleasantly scented after each wash. I have also noticed that my hair is easier to style and looks healthier. I was lucky to test Lyko's own dry shampoo for blonde hair. I have Nordic, thin, long, and straight hair, and this suited me well! Nice, simple design on the bottle, seems quite economical in use. Good scent 🤩 It makes the hair soft while removing grease and doesn't weigh the hair down. I shake the bottle, spray from a distance from the hair, let it sit for a bit, and comb through. Then the hair becomes soft and light, and looks cleaner. Reminds me of Batiste's dry shampoo both in price and effect, which I also like. Good price and a lot for the money. I have tested the Sensai Lasting Plump Lipstick. These come as refills for the beautiful container. It is so easy to both take out and put in new product. I have tested the colors Ruby Red and Rosy Nude. The formula of these lipsticks is absolutely fantastic. They glide easily on the lips, feel very moisturizing, and have good longevity. I usually have to reapply if I have eaten or drunk, but that is to be expected from a lipstick. The color Ruby Red is a lovely red shade, which is very pigmented! I rarely wear red on my lips, but it’s very nice to have this in the collection, especially during the holiday party season. But my favorite is Rosy Nude - a beautiful nude-colored lipstick with small shimmer particles. It is my perfect everyday nude! 😍 The shimmer is not overly visible, but gives a nice glow to the lips. I've been using the Volumaster for a couple of weeks 😊 I've tried it on both my roots + all over my hair, the results are quite impressive. I have thin hair with some fall. It's flattest in the back and on the sides. Usually, I have to take all my hair with a hot brush to get some shape, with the Volumaster I can target it where it needs it 👌😊 It's like the good old crimper, but more modern. I have been so lucky to test this product, and I really love this tool😍 Normally, I have long, pretty straight hair and thin hair strands, which makes it quickly lie flat and lose shape. To make sure the product really sticks and holds the volume, I used dry shampoo and hairspray before using it, and it gave me absolutely fantastic volume that lasts all day and the next day. This is truly a dream product that I will use a lot going forward. I was mega excited to test this since I’m a former hairdresser and very picky about dry shampoo!! I have thick, blonde streaked hair, it’s sometimes a bit damaged so I’m concerned that dry shampoo doesn’t wear or damage my hair. This has a pretty design, I leave it out on the bathroom counter😍 It smells veeeeery good, I can’t quite say what but it smells good! It doesn’t make my hair feel damaged, it doesn’t weigh my hair down, it feels light and I don’t even notice I have it in. It’s 100% for those of you with a sensitive scalp because this doesn’t itch at all. IMPORTANT TIP FOR USING DRY SHAMPOO: spray in the dry shampoo, comb through, and dry over your hair with a towel, otherwise you won’t get the effect you want from most dry shampoos🙌🏽🤖 The price is super great! And it’s economical to use! I’ve used it extremely often since I work out a lot and can’t wash my hair every day. 10/10 on all points and definitely a new favorite! Great job Lyko🤖
