I have been very pleasantly surprised by this eye cream from The Ordinary. It has a light and pleasant texture that is easy to apply, absorbs quickly, and doesn’t feel heavy or sticky 🤍 The skin around my eyes feels softer, firmer, and well hydrated after use, and I think I look fresher and more awake. The cream has a tightening effect and my fine lines have become less visible 🙌 I especially like that it contains Lacto-PDRN™ and at the same time has a light and nourishing formula. Nice gloss ball
Really nice gloss for autumn 🤎 I really like this gloss! It gives a very nice and shiny finish, and the color Toasted Vanilla is so lovely, a soft, slightly brown shade that fits perfectly with my autumn makeup looks. 🍂 I also like that it doesn’t feel too sticky on the lips, which is a big plus. The only thing I wish is that it had a bit more plumping effect. Otherwise, I’m very satisfied with the gloss and especially the color, it really feels perfect for all my autumn makeups! ✨ The only downside is that I think it’s quite expensive. And as I said, I think this one is very good but not worth the price just because it gives a bit of shine and softens the lips a little, just like a lip balm, and therefore it gets four stars. But if you’re looking for something a bit more expensive, this is actually a good alternative. Dreamy Perfume
I got to try Sabrina Carpenter Sweet Tooth Eau de Parfum and I REALLY LOVE the scent! 😍 I usually have a soft spot for gourmand scents and scents with vanilla, so this one fits my taste perfectly. The scent is sweet, warm, and cozy with that lovely gourmand feeling that feels a bit like a dessert. I especially think the vanilla comes through in a very nice way and makes the perfume feel both cozy and feminine without being boring. I also like that the scent really feels like the kind of perfume you want to wear when you want to feel a little extra cozy and “cute” 🥹🩷 For me, it’s definitely a scent I want to use again! It also lasts very long and 3 sprays are enough for the whole day!! A small downside is the bottle itself. I think it’s very cute but also quite bulky and a bit impractical. It takes up some space and isn’t exactly the most convenient perfume bottle to carry around. Didn’t work for my thin hair, but tangled it
I got to test the Waterclouds Gloss revive line, and one of the products was the line’s intensive mist. I normally have strong, thick, naturally vibrant hair, but I suffered from iron deficiency during pregnancy and childbirth, and my hair was also generally stressed. Because of this, my hair has thinned, and I have lost over half of what my hair used to be. Now I would describe my hair as dry and thin. I really liked the shampoo and conditioner in the line. They suited my hair excellently, but unfortunately, this spray felt more tangling than smoothing. I don’t feel it provided any benefit that would make me continue using the product after several tries. On the positive side, I want to mention that the product technically has a good spray mechanism and works flawlessly. The product also has a mild but pleasant scent typical of the brand, and I like that the product offers high heat protection. Unfortunately, the product was not suitable for my hair type this time. The bottle looks like a chocolate bar and is absolutely super cute and stands out on the shelf. To describe the scent, I would say you should imagine soft marshmallow, chocolate, and quite intense vanilla. It is extremely heavy gourmand and lacks the depth or balance that makes a perfume feel mature or sophisticated (which I like). I prefer perfumes that feel a bit more well-balanced and elegant. Even though I can appreciate warm vanilla notes, I am always skeptical of celebrity scents that tend to become too synthetic, candy-like, and youthful. Unfortunately, this was not a match for me. The longevity is acceptable, but the scent profile feels more suitable for a teenager than for someone looking for a more mature signature scent. If you love very strong, candy-sweet perfumes, it probably works, but for me, it was simply a bit too much. Since I’ve had a similar air tool from a slightly cheaper brand before, I was really excited to try and compare Lyko’s The Core Styler 5-in-1 Air Tool😍 My absolute most important point to test was the Auto Wrap attachment. Good as a night cream
The hygienic packaging is a big plus, it feels much fresher than having to dip your fingers into the cream every day. The color is also a nice addition to the bathroom cabinet. As a day cream, it didn’t work for me; it crumbled under makeup. However, it was fantastic as a night cream! My skin, which is usually dry in colder weather, has been deeply moisturized and I wake up with a lovely glow. The cream has no particular scent, which I appreciate. Thick and long-lasting hair mask
I liked the Gloss Revive conditioner line more. I felt it was sufficient on its own for my thin, dry hair. This one felt too thick and creamy for my thin hair, and I didn’t notice any added benefit compared to the conditioner. I believe this might be better for thicker hair. For thin hair, it might even be a bit weighing down. It seems very long-lasting; a small amount is enough, so I think it offers good value for money within that context if the product otherwise suits you. I wouldn’t buy it again. I have suffered hair loss due to iron deficiency, and my hair has also been stressed because of it. For this reason, my hair needs moisture and care. Wow, what a nice positive surprise! This mist is probably one of the products that surprised me the most! I love leave-in products but am quite picky because I don’t want my hair to feel heavy, greasy, or full of product. This one, however, is super light in the hair and fits perfectly as the last step before styling. I spray it through my hair and immediately notice that it becomes easier to manage and gets a smoother finish. After styling, the hair looks shinier and frizz is significantly reduced. A huge plus is also that it provides heat protection up to 230 °C, since I often use heat tools and would still use a heat protectant. What I like most is really that you get both shine, a nicer finish, and heat protection in the same product without weighing the hair down. Lyko Influtester review 🙂 I have used the spray when I’ve combed my hair during the day, as my fine hair gets tangled quickly in the wind. I think it helps to tame frizz and generally freshen up the hair, although I don’t notice the gloss effect. I have blonde highlights and the effect is hard to see. Lyko influtester review:-) I've used this hair mask at least twice a week, and I'm in love! My hair background is: fine and color-treated hair. I let the mask sit for a maximum of 5 minutes before rinsing it out. It has a fun texture that can remind you of body butter/melted marshmallow, but at the same time, it's easy to spread around in the hair. It also has a lovely and pleasant scent! I therefore have to work extra hard to bring them out again.
