I tried The Ordinary Volufiline* 92% Pal-Isoleucine 1% 15 ml plumping serum for 10 days. I will start with why I removed 1 star. - the packaging doesn't have ANY information on a product, but that gives a plumping effect. No info on what new ingredients are, what they do, what's good about them. You have to read it on the website or google it to actually understand. Like no info on how much product to apply. - information that you will be able to gather will be that it's either you can apply it to the whole face (as I did on the video), or on specific areas (some even suggested buttcheeks?!) - no specific info on what category of people will need to be excluded from a test (pregnant?!) - very strange bottle, lots of product will be wasted with such applicator. Nevertheless, as I tested it and I can say that's it's working product. - nice and not too tacky texture - visually it does smooth the skin in the way that it looks plumper than before. Smoothing effect is real, especially if after using the moisturizer that locks product into the skin. I have recently started to love using hair perfume and mist for my hair, so I thought it was really fun to get the chance to test this mist from Maria Nila🥰 The scent is very fresh and fruity, and for me, it reminds a bit of Sol de Janeiro 40, which I really don't complain about since it's one of my favorite scents🥰 For being just a mist, I think it performs almost on par with my more expensive hair perfumes, without taking over or clashing with other scents. It's more like using a fresh fruity shampoo. Even in terms of longevity, I find it comparable to a pure hair perfume, you can definitely need to reapply after a few hours. It's very pleasant to use thanks to the fine mist that doesn't leave the hair wet. It also feels moisturizing, which is worth considering if you, like me, have fine hair that easily gets heavy, not to overdo it. I had very high expectations for this hair oil, but due to the smell, I couldn't use it. A bit about my hair: - Thin - Nordic - Dry - Frizzy The oil itself has a lovely consistency, it glides easily into the hair, but I feel it doesn't do much for my hair, unfortunately. But, and here's a big BUT, you SHOULD like the smell of honey if you're going to fall for this. It smells really like honey, and a bit more like "medicinal" honey, if I can say it that way. It might be due to the vitamin E it also contains. I've been testing this serum for a couple of weeks now, and it's time to share my opinions🤍 As always, The Ordinary has a sleek and understated design on their products, which I appreciate. The product doesn't smell like anything in particular. The first time I applied it, I was surprised at how oily it was. I took way too much and realized that it is incredibly concentrated. A bottle can last a LONG time. If you like a glowy look, I can warmly recommend using this in the morning. If you're more for a matte look, you should avoid this in the morning and instead use it in the evening before bedtime. Whether it makes the skin plumper is very hard to say. I don't think I can see any noticeable difference with the naked eye, but I feel it gives a nice sensation as the skin feels soft and hydrated. Very sweet and fruity scent
I got to #lykoinflutester test this mist from #marianila. It's like a perfume for the hair, you could say. I, who never use perfume, still like the concept of this mist. It doesn't smell all the time, but you feel small bursts now and then. Perfect for those days when I haven't washed my hair, I think. I was positively surprised by how long the scent lasted. Not quite the whole day, but I would say I could sometimes smell it for about 6 hours. It's nothing that makes a difference to the hair itself, so you don't have to be afraid that it will weigh it down. The bottle is really pretty, I think, and it sprays out just the right amount. Unfortunately, I'm not particularly fond of the scent. I don't think it's floral at all, as the name Floral suggests, but rather fruity. I actually love fruity scents in hair products, but this one is so extremely sweet. It smells like when you walk past a teenager who is vaping. This one will be passed on to my son's girlfriend. I have a hard time with cool colors on my lips, & that's why I also have a hard time with the color of the lip gloss. It leaves a thick & sticky film on the lips. Lasts maybe 30 minutes. I don't know if it's really meant to give color & be more like makeup or like a treatment. New favorite!
My go-to has been Lumene's CC cream for many years now, so I was mildly ecstatic to try this foundation with a bit more coverage! ✨ I think it has an incredibly nice coverage, a bit more than the CC cream, but still not too heavy. It also blends beautifully on the skin! I picked a shade that is a bit too dark for me right now (winter pale☃️), but this will be perfect for me after a round of self-tan or closer to spring! The product is very easy to distribute and get even, with a brush it’s really a breeze! The skin tone evens out and I get a nice glow. It doesn’t interfere with my skincare routine either. New favorite for me 😍 The only downside for me is the packaging. The tube is impractical, and when it starts to run out, I can imagine losing a lot of product inside the hard packaging. Perfect for volume!
My first impression of this product (besides the fantastic unisex scent I love) was that the formula was very thin for a conditioner and I thought it wouldn’t moisturize my hair at all. I thought it must be completely silicone-free because it barely glides on the hair, I felt like a lot of conditioner was needed to cover all the hair strands. But after the next use, I used the trick of carefully brushing out my hair with a wetbrush, and it really did wonders! My hair felt properly coated with a smaller dollop. I was surprised that the instruction on a volumizing conditioner says to massage from the scalp to the lengths, but said and done! My hair got proper volume despite that, and no other products were needed. I have been testing the Ole Henriksen Pout Preserve Peptide Lip Treatment Sweet Macaron for a while now and think it’s a good lip product. It hydrates the lips properly and makes them soft quite quickly after application 👄 The scent Sweet Macaron is sweet and pleasant, although it can feel a bit strong if you are sensitive to scents. The consistency is quite glossy and a bit thick, but not sticky in an annoying way. I think it lasts okay, even though I need to touch up after a few hours. It may not be the most fantastic lip product I have tested, but it definitely does its job. I use it both for everyday and when I want a little extra shine. First impression, the scent! Such a lovely unisex scent that makes me miss a man 😂 The consistency is quite loose and it feels almost like a sulfate-free shampoo, but I always double shampoo regardless of the shampoo, so it gets really nice and fluffy! The hair definitely feels clean and airy, but I don't think this is the right shampoo for someone with a dry scalp, because it feels a bit "Striped". But wow, the volume! I've tested this foundation a few times now, and I'm positively surprised! I've tried applying it with both a brush and a beautyblender, but I probably prefer the beautyblender💓 I have combination skin, which is a bit extra dry in some places now in winter. With application using a brush, I felt that the foundation highlighted the dry areas. I would say the coverage is quite high when applied with a brush, but it can also be built up with a sponge! I've tried a color that was supposed to be neutral, but I think the foundation looked a bit yellow on my hand... But after application and blending, I don't think the result turned out as yellow as I feared💓 The longevity is very good! I have tried several different lip products and think most of them just sit on the lips and only help for a moment. This one, however, truly lives up to the name lip treatment! I haven't had issues with dry or cracked lips since I started using these🫶🏽 My favorite is citrus because it’s kind of clear. So I was a little afraid this would be too dark in color, but it’s very thin, so it’s not something you think about! Sweet macaron smells very sweet but still fruity, I would say, I expected more of a pastry and kind of caramel. A good foundation. It gave me coverage, held up pretty well throughout the day & didn’t “cake” on me. Can be a bit drier in certain areas now during winter, and it “highlighted” this foundation. But I moisturized a bit extra, so it worked fine. Got a bit shiny, but that often happens when I use foundations with high coverage. Worked best to apply first on my hand and then with a “makeup sponge” on my face. I received products from the Nõberu of Sweden 9 Wonders series to test from Lyko. 🤎 I have dry, naturally curly and coarse, colored hair. I have tried sulfate-free products before, but they often leave my hair feeling or looking dirty. However, I went in with an open mind to test these Nõberu of Sweden 9 Wonders products, and I tested them all at once. ✨ Check out the 9 Wonders Anti-frizz Shampoo 250ml and 9 Wonders Anti-frizz Conditioner 250ml to see what I thought of the series' shampoo and conditioner. 🔍 I dried my hair in a towel for a while after washing, and then sprayed the 9 Wonders All-in-one No 109 Orange Cedar 200ml evenly onto damp hair. This leave-in conditioner is sufficient on its own for styling hair and heat protection, and it helped detangle my hair well - it was easy to brush through even when wet (my hair is not in the best condition 🙈). Like many other so-called heavier hair sprays, this spray is strong and not very fine. Blurring and covering, but not dry skin friendly
I received this LUMENE Blur Even Cover foundation for testing from Lyko and chose the shade 1.75 ✨ I am 37 years old, so my skin is already aging, and I especially have sometimes even atopic dry skin in winter. I generally prefer light and moisturizing foundations. Skincare is the most important step in makeup, so I moisturized my skin before the test and let the skincare absorb properly. 💧 I like to apply foundation with a makeup sponge. However, for the test, I first applied the cream with a brush, and my intention was to even it out with the sponge afterwards, but after application, I found that the foundation didn't need it. At first, I was afraid that the shade I chose was too light, but the foundation oxidized a bit on my face, and in the end, it felt maybe even a tad too dark. With concealer and in summer, the updated shade will definitely work for me. I didn't use concealer or other base products now, so I can see how the foundation looks and behaves on its own. Normally, I powder my skin after creamy products, but this one feels dry enough and also durable enough that I don't feel the need for powder. I do have a dry skin type, and unfortunately, the foundation clung a bit to dry patches (I don't know if I captured that in the pictures). ☹️ Additionally, the foundation initially sat "on top" of the skin, but after a while, it actually looks really beautiful! The foundation, as the name suggests, blurs the skin and nicely evens out, for example, the redness of a pimple on the forehead. I forgot to put another pimple patch on my chin, but that was also tested - the foundation adhered well to it. 😄 The skin feels like it has makeup on, but not in any heavy way. Somehow, the foundation manages to be very skin-like despite its coverage, so it doesn't look heavy or cakey in my opinion. 👍🏼 This foundation will definitely be my go-to product for summer parties where I want more coverage and long-lasting wear. 🌞 We with dry skin just need to do good skincare underneath, and it certainly won't hurt to throw a hydrating makeup setting spray in the bag. 😉 #lykoinflutester #lumene

I have tested #BJÖRNAXEN Volume Conditioner together with Volume Shampoo, have previously used the Volume series in mousse (which I got in a goodie bag from Björn Axén after my wedding 2024, and still have left in the bottle 😂) volumizing spray and blow dry cream. I just got my hair cut shorter and don’t have as much layering in my hair anymore, but at the same time it’s not as heavy as it was before, so I was excited to see what the volume series could offer my new look 🥳 The conditioner is thick and lasts a long time, and the scent is lovely!
