A hair mask that is really THICK in consistency, which I love! And even though it’s thick, it’s easy to rinse out and doesn’t leave behind a thin film like other hair masks with a thicker consistency can. After a few weeks of use, here comes, as usual, an honest review: This is a protein-enriched leave-in treatment used after washing your hair, designed to help with heat protection up to 200 °C, care for the hair, and smooth the lengths. It's hard to say if the heat protection really works, but I would never choose a leave-in without that feature since I always blow-dry my hair after washing it. The product's consistency is really like rich butter in a good way. It's compact, which means you need an INCREDIBLY small amount of product to achieve the desired result. This means it will last a very long time before you need to buy a new one. I can really feel it penetrating the lengths, and if tangles have formed, they disappear in no time. The product doesn't just sit on the hair as a protective layer and leave a greasy coating, which I thought it might do because of the thick consistency, but the hair absorbs it and becomes silky. My feeling is that it provides moisture immediately and gives a luxurious shine after blow-drying. For those who have seen my previous reviews, I always comment on the bottle design; it never affects the product itself but still gives a feeling when you take it out. And I really like the pink together with the navy blue. Incredible shampoo!!
The shampoo promises a lot, it is for us with damaged hair, it is supposed to be enriched with protein and other important nutrients, it should also help to maintain healthy and shiny hair, and the result should be soft and smooth. And most importantly in a shampoo, does it get the hair clean? Can it give all this and at the same time make the hair feel maximally clean? The answer to that is: YES! I really like this shampoo, my scalp really feels clean while also feeling moisturized? I don’t understand how that works at the same time but this product has shown that it does! With most shampoos, you can experience a certain roughness afterwards, which I actually don’t mind since conditioner softens afterwards anyway. But this shampoo doesn’t give the same roughness at all, which I thought might make the hair not feel clean, but oh, how wrong you can be. I really feel that the whole hair, including the scalp, feels extra clean if you know what I mean? The scalp feels fresh after use! I love the design of the bottle, not just the colors which go in navy blue and pink but also that it is a big bottle with a sturdy pump. The scent is a scent I find hard to describe, it gives me the feeling of a luxurious spa. UNOVE is a completely new brand to me and so far the brand has really delivered! Sunscreen that feels like skincare
When I think of sunscreen, I think of something that feels greasy and sticky, leaves a white residue, and just generally sucks. But with this one, you avoid that! This sunscreen has a nice bottle, it has a pleasant scent that is also not too strong. The formula is thin and very runny; upon application, it absorbs nicely but you have to massage it in a bit more if you are like me and have dark skin, otherwise it becomes a white grainy cast. I think the product gave me more matte skin, which I find nice since I usually use products that give glow, so it’s nice to have something that evens it out, otherwise I would reflect like a disco ball. Unfortunately, there hasn’t been much sun in March and April, so I can’t answer how well the protection actually performs. But I’ve heard good things about this product, specifically that it should have really good protection, so I’m keeping my fingers crossed and looking forward to using it this summer😍 It gets 4/5 precisely because I can’t answer how well it protects against the sun. Was tasked with testing this setting spray & here is my opinion: Background: No direct experience with setting sprays. All makeup on my face except mascara disappears at the slightest mishap, so I was very excited to try. Dry skin 😇First impression: The packaging is SO PRETTY, it makes me so happy when I see it. I like the "spray" itself, comes out just the right amount & spreads nicely on the face. The scent is not nice. Doesn't feel sticky after application. Dries quickly 😃My opinion: I am positively surprised & very happy with this product. There is another one that is matte but I’m glad I got to try this one as I liked prepping with it & getting a lot of moisture, setting the makeup & then reapplying during the day to bring the makeup back to life. It even held the makeup after I sweated on the bike 😅 (and my makeup usually does NOT hold up to sweat/water etc., it gives up immediately) ☺️Conclusion: Good setting spray, like prepping with it, setting the makeup & then reapplying & freshening up the face after a few hours. The durability is acceptable (not perfect) but there are definitely better ones on the market. I was tasked with testing this mascara & here are my thoughts: 👁️Background: I naturally have quite long lashes and usually don’t have problems with mascaras, like them not lasting all day etc. 🤗First impression: I really like the look of the mascara, it feels sleek & nice. The brush is just the right size, which I prefer. I also like that it can be removed with just warm water & the environmental thinking Idun Minerals has. 😆My opinion: It’s a good mascara that is definitely waterproof as I got a bit sentimental the other day & it really stayed put. No smudging or running. 🥲However, I find the brush can have a bit of trouble separating the lashes & I sometimes need to help out, which I haven’t always needed with other mascaras. It can also clump a bit if you’re not careful when applying but that doesn’t lower my rating. 🤩It definitely gives volume, but if you’re after really full lashes, this might not be the mascara for you as it focuses more on separating, which it also promises. 😀When removing, it tends to crumble rather than smudge, which I personally have mixed feelings about. Not necessarily a bad thing but a bit different for me. The durability is really good though & it stays nice on the lashes all day. 🙌Conclusion: A good waterproof mascara that gives volume & lasts all day. I got to try this sunscreen from #eucerin as a #lykoinflutester I have very oily skin, problems with hormonal pimples, and easily get clogged pores. Sunscreens can very often make this worse for me, so I was curious about how the result would be with this one. I was very positively surprised! 😃❤️ ❤️ It absorbs well into the skin and doesn’t leave a sticky surface. It also doesn’t turn white. ❤️ It basically smells like nothing. ❤️ It works best under makeup if you don’t have a day cream underneath. But for my skin type, no day cream was needed underneath anyway. ❤️ It has a velvety finish that lasts most of the day. ❤️ It doesn’t roll on the skin. A sunscreen I've used for several years and plan to continue using. Very thin and lightweight, absorbs quickly into the skin and makes it look really healthy. Leaves no white cast at all on my fair skin. I have dry skin, which becomes more normal in summer, and this SPF gives just the right glow and hydration. I can imagine that if you have combination or oily skin, this might become too shiny and oily. Often available for under 200 SEK, which has made it a staple on my SPF shelf. The best lip plumper!
I've tried products like this before; anti-age ones that are supposed to smooth the skin and promise this and that. But let's be honest; not much works. But this ONE WORKS! And that comes from someone who is skeptical and very honest in my product reviews. This is a thin, slightly oily serum that plumps. That's the thing about this product, it works topically right then and there. I use it on the wrinkles on the sides and under the eyes (not right up to the eye edge!!!) at night and it looks okay. But the wrinkles are still there the next morning, this is not botox 😅 But I use this as a lip plumper and there it’s magical! It smooths out the lines on the lips and makes them bigger, and that’s no joke! A light warming and slightly tingling sensation, but not uncomfortable. My new summer scent!
I was really so positively surprised by this mist. I usually have quite a hard time with floral scents, they can easily be too much for me, but this one is really so incredibly good. It’s fresh and fruity and not heavy at all, just perfectly balanced and addictive. What I love most is how long the scent actually lasts on me. I mostly spray it in my hair and on my clothes and can still smell it several hours later, which I didn’t expect at all from a mist. And I’ve gotten several compliments when I’ve worn it, which says a lot. It really feels like the perfect summer scent for me. Light, fresh but still special and one I just want to use all the time. I've been testing this sunscreen from Eucerin for a while now and wanted to share my thoughts! ☀️ I really love that it comes in a pump, it makes it so easy to get the right amount, and one pump gives a lot of product. It has SPF 50 and protects against both UVA and UVB, which feels reassuring now that the sun is coming out more. The consistency is quite thick, but it absorbs quickly. It doesn't have a strong scent, which I appreciate. I've used this before and unfortunately noticed that I got some breakouts on my face after a while, so for my skin it might not be perfect for daily use. However, I really like the size, it's convenient to have in the bag and perfect to take with you during the day. A gel-based cleanser that foams and is supposed to quickly remove makeup and dirt without being drying. MY SKIN TYPE: Sensitive Surface dry Reactive skin prone to imbalance I don’t notice a strong scent, it foams nicely, is economical, and does what it promises, except drying out the skin. At least mine. I do have sensitive and dry skin, and like with most cleansers, it becomes dry immediately after use, also with this one. However, if you apply serum and the rest of your skincare immediately after, it’s not a problem. When I wear makeup, I use this twice to be completely sure everything is gone, which it is! ✅ Positive that there is a refill ✅ No strong scent ✅ Works for my sensitive skin ✅ You really feel clean ❌ The price, it’s expensive even though you don’t need much product. A BioLumin-C Serum that is supposed to contribute to more radiance and a smoother skin texture. It also promises to even out skin tone by counteracting uneven pigmentation that can come from, for example, sun damage, pollution, stress, etc. Additionally, it should also help make the skin surface smoother and more elastic. MY SKIN TYPE: Sensitive Surface dry Reactive skin with a tendency to imbalance Unfortunately, my skin is not the easiest; it has become very sensitive over the past year after having been more tolerant before. That means this product is too strong for me right now. Will I get rid of it? ABSOLUTELY NOT! This will be what I use as soon as I have a stable base again, but right now my skin reacts to everything that actually makes a difference in the long run. One of the key ingredients in this is Ascorbic Acid, which is pure vitamin C, the most effective form. On more tolerant skin, it would give a clearer and faster result than other vitamin C serums that contain less effective variants. I really wanted to love this because vitamin C is an ingredient I actually miss in my routine – especially now as I approach 30 and want to work more preventively against aging. But my skin is currently sensitive and surface dry, and here I notice that this type of active vitamin C can be a bit too much, especially on dry areas like the nose. However, unlike other vitamin C serums, my skin did not react as strongly as it otherwise can, which makes me really believe that I will be able to use it in the long run. It also gave an incredible glow and sat very nicely under makeup! Is it a bad product, you might wonder? Absolutely not, this is a bottle that gives you exactly what you are looking for in a vitamin C serum, but right now it does not work for my skin. Which skin type does it suit? ✅ Suitable for: Normal skin Tolerant skin Combination skin without sensitivity Pigmentation / sun damage Those who want glow + anti-age ❌ Less suitable for those of us with: Sensitive skin Reactive skin Surface dry skin with flakes Rosacea tendencies The serum is expensive but, as I said before, has more effective ingredients than others to give a faster and clearer result, and very little product is needed when used, which means it will last a long time. As an influencer tester, I got to try this lovely body mist from Fenty Beauty, perfect to try this floral body mist for spring!😍🌸 This body mist smells of many things; it’s a blend of rose, jasmine, vanilla, as well as sandalwood, orange zest, and pink peppercorns, an exciting mix.✨ I like the packaging, it’s easy to carry, sleek, and I’m a big fan of pink. The mist is very pleasant, it creates a nice cloud.☺️ At first, I thought the scent was a bit too intense and too dominated by sandalwood, which unfortunately is a scent I have some difficulty with. Nice on the skin
I have had the opportunity to test Capital Soleil UV Age Daily SPF50+ 40 as a Lyko Influtester. The formula is very light and feels pleasant on the skin. Unlike many other sunscreens that can feel thick, greasy, and sticky, this one is thin and smooth without leaving an oily feeling. I have not yet been able to fully evaluate the sunscreen's effectiveness, as it hasn't been very sunny, but my first impression is very positive. I like both the formula and the packaging, and the product also gives a nice glow. It also works very well under makeup. Nice scent - cheap packaging
Got to try Fenty Beauty Hey Bouquet as #lykoinflutester. According to Fenty Beauty’s website, it’s supposed to smell like “Rose, jasmine, and vanilla flirting with sandalwood while orange zest and pink peppercorn spice things up.” I was really excited and thought it would be a perfect body mist to carry in my bag because of the bottle size. I liked the scent; it smells just right and the blend of notes makes it not too sweet. I think the sandalwood and pink peppercorn make the scent not come off as too sweet, which I like. The mist spray is very dispersed and it creates a cloud, which is lovely if you want to lightly spray a few spritzes. As mentioned, it’s a body mist, so the scent fades after about an hour in my opinion, but my friend said she could still faintly smell it after a few hours. However, the product feels a bit cheap when it comes to the packaging. For about 250 SEK, I would have wished the mist came in a glass bottle instead.
