Thick and long-lasting hair mask
I liked the Gloss Revive conditioner line more. I felt it was sufficient on its own for my thin, dry hair. This one felt too thick and creamy for my thin hair, and I didn’t notice any added benefit compared to the conditioner. I believe this might be better for thicker hair. For thin hair, it might even be a bit weighing down. It seems very long-lasting; a small amount is enough, so I think it offers good value for money within that context if the product otherwise suits you. I wouldn’t buy it again. Lovely conditioner for dry, fine hair
I have suffered hair loss due to iron deficiency, and my hair has also been stressed because of it. For this reason, my hair needs moisture and care. The Waterclouds Gloss Revive line has suited my hair type perfectly. The conditioner smooths effectively and leaves hair soft and easy to comb without weighing it down. I deduct one point because of the price, as I don’t see justification for the price with such simple packaging. Really good conditioner, smells nice and rinses out well without leaving hair greasy. Positive surprise!
Wow, what a nice positive surprise! When I found out I got to test products from Waterclouds, honestly I was a bit like, oh no, because the last time I tried the series, the products didn’t give me any wow feelings and I was even a bit disappointed. Expectations were really high the first time since I had seen praise for the series from hairdressers on TikTok, but the series didn’t convince me last time. But it turned out that the previous line I tested just wasn’t the right one for me, but this Gloss Revive line from Waterclouds fits my hair type perfectly! Perfect final touch!!
This mist is probably one of the products that surprised me the most! I love leave-in products but am quite picky because I don’t want my hair to feel heavy, greasy, or full of product. This one, however, is super light in the hair and fits perfectly as the last step before styling. I spray it through my hair and immediately notice that it becomes easier to manage and gets a smoother finish. After styling, the hair looks shinier and frizz is significantly reduced. A huge plus is also that it provides heat protection up to 230 °C, since I often use heat tools and would still use a heat protectant. What I like most is really that you get both shine, a nicer finish, and heat protection in the same product without weighing the hair down. Refreshing spray for the hair!
Lyko Influtester review 🙂 I have used the spray when I’ve combed my hair during the day, as my fine hair gets tangled quickly in the wind. I think it helps to tame frizz and generally freshen up the hair, although I don’t notice the gloss effect. I have blonde highlights and the effect is hard to see. Otherwise, it doesn’t weigh down my fine hair. Light product with a pleasantly fresh scent. Craving extra gloss???
If I want to give my hair a little extra love, this is definitely the product I reach for. The mask feels rich and nourishing, but what I appreciate most is that my hair doesn’t feel heavy afterward. I usually let it sit for about five minutes, and you can feel the result immediately when rinsing it out. After use, my lengths feel incredibly soft and smooth, and my hair looks much shinier and well cared for. I also find that my hairstyle settles and that my hair becomes easier to style. This conditioner quickly became a favorite in the line! The texture feels nourishing without being too heavy, and it’s very easy to distribute through the lengths. I leave it in for a couple of minutes, and already when I rinse it out, I can feel how much softer and smoother my hair has become. My hair can easily get a bit frizzy, and I love products that make the lengths smooth without the hair losing its lightness. Here, I really think you get exactly that combination. I had high expectations for this series because my hair can easily feel a bit dull, and I'm always looking for products that give that really glossy, freshly styled feeling. Already at the first use, I got a very good impression of the shampoo. It lathers nicely, feels gentle on the hair, and above all, the hair feels properly clean without becoming dry or rough. After using it together with the rest of the Gloss Revive series, I really think my hair has gained more shine. It feels softer, smoother, and less frizzy, which also makes it much easier to style. I also really like the scent; the combination of flowers, apple, and vanilla feels fresh but still a bit luxurious. I have liked Waterclouds products, and this shampoo continues the good experiences. The product foams well with a double wash, and after rinsing, the hair feels smooth. My hair: shoulder-length, curly hair. Colored and highlighted. The hair needs moisture and can get frizzy. I usually don’t use such products because I feel they weigh my hair down. Unfortunately, this one is no exception. I think it makes the hair shinier, with less frizz, but my curls don’t benefit from this product. Lyko influtester review:-) I've used this hair mask at least twice a week, and I'm in love! My hair background is: fine and color-treated hair. I let the mask sit for a maximum of 5 minutes before rinsing it out. It has a fun texture that can remind you of body butter/melted marshmallow, but at the same time, it's easy to spread around in the hair. It also has a lovely and pleasant scent! My hair completely soaks it up and feels soft, moisturized, and very manageable afterward! I have blonde highlights in my hair, and they shine well after drying with a hot brush. My hair currently: shoulder-length, curly hair. Colored and highlighted. The hair needs moisture and can easily become "frizzy." The conditioner is rich and spreads easily throughout the hair. I let it sit a bit before rinsing out. The hair feels smooth and tangle-free when I run my fingers through wet hair. After the hair is dried, I think my hair looks shiny, but the curls are heavy. I therefore have to work extra hard to bring them out again. Delicate design with shape and color. The consistency looks like mother-of-pearl. Already notice after the first wash that the hair becomes clean and soft. Always wash my hair twice. Does its job
Lyko Influtester review :-) The conditioner has given me a good experience along with the other products in the same series. I have used it both every day or as needed when I washed my hair. The conditioner has a thick but water-activated consistency and does not weigh down my fine hair. A small dash has been enough for all my shoulder-length hair. I let it sit in my hair for 2 minutes each time before rinsing it out. I think it does what a conditioner should, and leaves the hair with a nice scent and moisture. Works well for fine hair!
Lyko Influtester review :-) This shampoo gave a good experience for my fine hair that gets greasy quickly. Very gentle and cleanses the hair without stripping all moisture. I have used it both daily and as needed, the hair feels soft before conditioner and other products every time! It has a thin consistency, but once you apply it to the hair and massage it in, it foams moderately. Enough so I can run my fingers through without the hair becoming tangled/dry. It has a lovely scent of rose, bergamot, and musk that lifts the whole hair wash experience. Pretty okay, strong scent
I actually didn’t know this was heat-protective before I was about to write the review 🙈 So I’ve obviously been using a bit of a double dose of products, this one + heat protectant on top again.. I think that should be clearer on the bottle, preferably with bigger text 🙉 For me, heat protection is a big plus, and it’s definitely something I would notice if it was more highlighted. When it comes to the actual effect, I think this is pretty okay. It calms frizz a bit and adds some moisture, but I miss more. My hair tends to get dry and frizzy when the weather changes, and now that autumn is approaching, I need something that adds significantly more moisture than this. What I really can’t get past is the scent. It’s very strongly perfumed and reminds me again of cheap at-home hair dye. It’s not exactly a scent I associate with a product that’s supposed to care for and protect hair. I like hair products to smell good, but this one is just too intense for my taste. It’s definitely not useless, but I had hoped for a bit more. The series promises a lot, and so far I don’t think the products quite deliver on all the promises. At the same time, this is a product where I think the price makes the expectations a bit more moderate. A big plus is definitely that it’s heat-protective. I will therefore continue to test it further – this time without adding an extra heat protectant on top 😅 – to see if it grows on me over time. Doesn't work for my bleached hair
As a #lykoinflutester, I had the honor of testing four products from Waterclouds' Gloss revive series✨️ In this review, we'll take a look at Waterclouds Gloss revive intensive mist✨️ A bit about my hair: Typically Scandinavian, with many fine strands. Bleached lengths. Usually wash my hair about 3 times a week. The product is described to smooth the hair surface, combat frizz, and improve hair manageability. First and foremost, a plus for the nice mist! Important to have a nozzle that distributes the product evenly, and it really does. Also a plus that it contains heat protection! The scent is quite mild and fresh. I think it works as unisex. The texture is very light. However, I almost find it harder to detangle my hair after using the mist than before. I usually use a conditioner spray with heat protection, which seems to work better for my bleached hair that apparently needs something richer. Shine, where are you?
Shine? Not added to my hair, at least. I think it got lost along the way … I expected significantly more from a hair mask, especially when it promises intensive moisture, improved softness, and more shine. So far, unfortunately, I haven’t really seen much of any of these effects. My hair feels dry, and I almost feel it’s drier after I started using this. I miss the soft, moist feeling I expect after a hair mask. When I use a mask, I usually expect my hair to feel extra cared for and good afterwards – I don’t experience that with this one… What I actually notice an effect on is frizz. It seems to calm some of the small hairs and make the hair a bit more controlled, but beyond that, I find the effect quite limited. However, I do like the texture. It’s thick and creamy and feels more like the texture I expect from a hair mask. That’s why I will continue to test it for a while before giving my final verdict. Maybe it needs a bit more time or more treatments before the effect shows. Unfortunately, the scent also detracts. I absolutely like conditioners and hair masks to smell good, but this one is way too intense and perfumed for my taste. The scent feels almost overwhelming and lingers in the hair for a long time. All in all, I think the product promises a lot, but so far it delivers very little. I hope it can surprise me after longer use, because I really like the texture. Little effect
I had high expectations for this conditioner, as the main focus and promise is good moisture for the hair. Unfortunately, I don't feel it delivers particularly well on this. Together with the shampoo, I notice somewhat less frizz, especially on the small baby hairs that easily stick up after blow-drying. Beyond this, however, I find the effect quite small. My hair feels dry, and I don't experience that this conditioner provides the moisture or softness I expect from a conditioner. The consistency also feels a bit too "thin" for my taste. It is admittedly more economical to use than the shampoo, but I still feel I have to use quite a bit of product to notice any significant effect – and even then, I find the result quite limited. The scent is also a big minus here. It is very intense and reminds me of a cheap hair dye. The scent lingers in the hair and simply feels too strong over time. For me, this detracts a lot, especially when the product is marketed as something you can use daily. All in all, I don't think the conditioner does much for my dry hair. It gives some help against frizz, but I miss both moisture, softness, and a clearer nourishing effect. When both the shampoo and conditioner have such an intense scent, the overall impression unfortunately isn't very positive. Disappointing..
I had quite high expectations for this shampoo, especially considering the promises of increased shine, softer and healthier hair, less frizz, and color preservation. Unfortunately, I find that it does not deliver on most of these points. The only thing I actually notice a slight difference in is frizz. I have quite a bit of baby hair that easily sticks up, especially after blow-drying, and the shampoo can somewhat help to tame this. Still, the effect is quite small.. Otherwise, I don’t think it does anything particularly positive for my hair. I don’t notice any noticeable increase in shine, softness, or healthier hair, and I also don’t think my hair stays clean for very long. At times, it actually feels like my scalp gets oily faster than usual. The shampoo is also very little economical in use. I have to use about twice as much as with other shampoos I’ve tested to get a proper lather, which means it runs out quickly. The scent is unfortunately a big minus for me. It’s very intense and reminds me of the smell of a cheap hair dye. At first, it might seem okay, but over time it simply becomes too much. The strong perfume scent can also be somewhat irritating to the scalp. All in all, I don’t think this series does much good for my hair. When it’s time to rinse out, the hair feels really super soft even before I’ve used conditioner, but the combination is even better! The hair is also easy to detangle with a wet brush that I usually use, and I experience less frizz after styling. I definitely think the hair gets more shine and less frizz, which rarely shows so well in bleached hair, but I absolutely see a difference! The hair feels somewhat heavier after the mask than when I’ve only used the conditioner in the series, but my bleached hair needs care, which the mask really seems to provide.
