The best setting spray ever
I have tried many setting sprays over the years but have always gone back to this one. Of course, I was scared like many others when the collaboration with Skindinavia was ending and was afraid this product would become noticeably worse. But NOT!! Honestly, I think it’s better? The mist itself is much better, the spray distributes more evenly over the face than it did before. I also think it absorbs more now than I experienced before. This product makes my makeup last significantly longer and makes the finish look more even. Shade: Space Cowboy
A luminizer that can be used in your foundation, moisturizer, or as is. It’s supposed to be waterproof and sweat-proof, which I can definitely vouch for! Unfortunately, I find it too glittery to use directly on my face since I prefer more of a glow. At least for everyday use, it can absolutely be something I reach for when I want a more made-up look! However, I found another way to use it, which is on the décolleté and shoulders. I usually do this in the summer but felt it melts away so quickly, but this one doesn’t! Instead, it sinks into the skin nicely and doesn’t sit on the skin as a layer. What I do is mix it into my moisturizer and then apply it, which I really recommend ✨ So I really like the product, but because it’s a bit too glittery for the face, it gets a slightly lower rating. Definitely a perfume with very good longevity!
I love it! It reminds me of a sweet perfume I used to wear when I was in high school. I'm not particularly good at describing scents, but I'll do my best. This perfume is sweet, almost like sugary caramel candy. You can also smell vanilla along with hints of woody, spicy saffron. It's the kind of scent you either love or dislike because of the sweetness. But after wearing it all day, the sweetness develops into a creamy, lightly spicy, and warm woody saffron scent that's absolutely fantastic. I really like it, and it's truly a wonderful perfume! A little goes a long way with this one. I sprayed quite a bit on my wrist and wow, it became way too strong! So be careful with the application. If you overdo it, the scent can become very intense and prominent, which might not suit everyone. In my opinion, this is more of an adult scent 😉. The sweetness leans toward the feminine and sensual side (not overly sweet or cloying, haha 😁). What I mean is that when you wear it, you feel a bit sexy and seductive. Surprisingly, my husband loves it too. The perfume also has fantastic longevity. Even after I shower, I can still detect some scent on my skin. It's weaker but still there. On clothes, the scent lasts even longer. Definitely a perfume with very good longevity! The bottle is also incredibly beautiful, a frosted, round red bottle that's so nice to have out on your makeup table or dresser. It would also make a perfect gift for your wife or girlfriend. I wouldn't say it suits everyone, but if you like sweet and elegant scents that aren't overly sugary or cloyingly sweet, then I definitely think you should give this one a chance. Better than the original!
No makeup routine is complete without setting spray! I've tried many setting sprays over the years, but I've tended to avoid them as they often dry out my skin. I like the fresh color of the bottle, but unfortunately the cap on the one I got is very poor. It almost falls off just by holding it upside down, so I won't be able to travel with it, which is a shame. I was surprised at how fine the mist is on this one, you get the perfect amount with each spray! I didn't find the scent overpowering, which is a plus in my book. After application, the skin feels cooled and a bit sticky when it has dried, but it wasn't something I noticed later in the day. I already have very glowing skin, but I don't think this made my skin much more glowing. If anything, I think it made the glow more even and toned down, which is nice for me! I mainly chose this version because I have combination skin, which tends to be very dry but can also get oily. When using regular setting sprays, including the original, my skin tended to flake, but with this one I had no problem. For my drier skin, it was perfect that this one was moisturizing. Not as expected
I really like the tube, you can always see how much is left, and it was super easy to get out the desired amount. The product has a white base that reveals a micro-fine pink glitter when you spread it out. The shade I had, Mirror Ball, suited my very light, Nordic skin well. Since this can be applied in thin layers and spread well, it can suit several skin tones, but you never completely get rid of the white base, so be aware of that. It's barely possible to see the glitter unless you have a direct light source close to your face, and even then it's barely visible. So this will give a very subtle, “natural” glow, hence no wow effect. For the price, I actually expected to be blown away. I also tried building it up in several layers for more effect, but then the white base became too visible. I tried using it as eyeshadow, but it didn’t work for me. I have hooded eyes, which means all makeup I use on my eyes has to dry as quickly as possible to avoid creasing. After a few hours on the eyelid, it had gathered into a white stripe in the crease, not pretty. I also tried using it as a highlighter, which also worked rather poorly. If you want to use it as a highlighter, you can use such a small amount that it’s not visible to avoid the base showing. The uses that worked best for me were the following three; Mixed with moisturizer. Directly on the body, well spread out. As a thin layer all over the face, over other products. So to summarize: As a body glow, it’s very nice and easy to use. For the face, it can give a very natural, even glow with the right application. Bronzer, highlight, and similar products aren’t really my thing, but as a #lykoinflutester you try everything, and of course you want more #urbandecay ❗️ Admit that something went wrong, I tried to find a light/neutral shade but didn’t find one among the options I got, but now I see from other users that it exists 🙈 Like the nice bottle where you have to squeeze a bit extra to get the product out, which is just the right consistency. 🌺 I find it fragrance-free - love that! I’ve been so lucky to get to test these eye patches from #xlash as #lykoinflutester 🌸 ✨ I often struggle with eye patches sliding all over my face, so I was very curious if these would stay in place – and they did! They slid a bit in the first few minutes, but after settling, they stayed very well. Hooray! ✨ I actually felt that the serum absorbed well into the skin, instead of just sitting on top like I often experience with other patches. ✨ It was incredibly nice and soothing to put them on the skin straight from the fridge ❄️ ✨ I also really liked the packaging. Each pair comes in its own little pack, which feels both hygienic and practical. ⚠️ Unfortunately, my sensitive skin reacted to these. I got red rashes in the areas where the patches had been throughout the day, and the next day I had several red and burning small blisters on my skin – a bit like the feeling of being severely sunburned. Great glow!!
I never really understood the point of glow products and actually thought they weren’t for me. That’s why I was extra pleasantly surprised by this one. The product gives a beautiful glow without being too intense or glittery✨ It blends easily into the skin and works very well both with moisturizer and CC Cream. I use it together with the CC Cream from It Cosmetics, and think the combination gives a natural and fresh result✨ It’s also very versatile. I have used it as a highlighter, but also as a light shimmer on the eyelids. On days when I don’t wear makeup, I like to apply a bit of this to give the skin extra glow and life🫶🏽 The only downside is the lid!! Not very practical, and somewhat hard to get off. Are there really any better setting sprays than Urban Decay? I use the original All Nighter regularly, so I was very excited to test this glow variant. I was a bit afraid the result would be more shiny than glowing, but this really surprised me positively✨ The spray distributes evenly, the bottle has a nice design, and most importantly it keeps the makeup in place for hours. I actually used it for the first time on my wedding day, and despite blazing sun, sweat, and some tears, the makeup stayed just as nice all day long. These eye gel pads provide plenty of moisture and feel very comfortable on the skin. They cool well, stay nicely in place, and the area under the eyes looks fresher and more hydrated after use. I also find that the skin becomes softer and smoother. I deduct one star because the packaging contains unnecessarily much plastic. I was instantly hooked on the Lip Glow Oil Balm because it feels like the perfect 2-go product. The color Honey is a neutral shade that's hard to go wrong with, and I like that it has a bit of color but still looks very natural. On the lips, it's super comfortable: moisturizing, soft, and above all not as sticky as some glosses and oils can be. I really wish all shades had SPF30 because that would probably make me use it more, as lips are something you often forget about. I love lip balms, and it might be the beauty product I use the most, and I prefer products you can apply without thinking. I want something that works without a mirror and doesn't require you to be super precise, and I want it to feel comfortable on the lips all the time. A bit about my skin: combination with occasional blemishes, young skin, dry in winter & autumn, redness, dark circles under the eyes as a toddler mom and nurse. I have tested Hush Hush by Meira Omar for a few weeks and must say it really caught my interest right away 🤩 I usually don’t like warm and sweet perfumes, but the combination of saffron, cardamom, vanilla, and toffee surprised me from the start. I can also add that I usually choose more characterful and deep scents, and this one made me consider how much sweetness can be in a sensual and feminine fragrance without it becoming too candy-like. On my skin, the scent opens spicy and elegant, but after a while, the warmer tones come out and then it becomes really cozy and feminine. The vanilla and toffee give a soft sweetness without feeling too heavy or sugary. Truly glass skin effect! 💫
Got to try this lovely face cream that Lyko influencer tests ✨ You definitely get the promised glass skin effect! 😍 The cream has a relatively thin consistency but is still rich enough to really feel moisturizing. I have dry skin and it fully absorbs into the skin without leaving any film or stickiness 🩵 You squeeze the product out through a narrow nozzle, which makes it easy to get just the right amount of product 🥰 Good size and reasonable price! You need very little, so it feels long-lasting. My skin is somewhat sensitive but it hasn’t reacted to this, which it sometimes does with niacinamide. I was so lucky to receive XLASH’s Hydra Glow PDRN Eye Gels to test out, like #lykoinflutester 🩵 I’m 35 years old, have normal to dry skin, which can be a bit sensitive at times. Luckily, I don’t struggle with dark circles or bags under my eyes, but I love using eye patches to prevent and provide maximum moisture to the area under my eyes. My first impression when I opened the first pack of these was that they were sooo juicy! The serum really dripped from the pack 💦 I keep them in the fridge, so they were very cooling and soothing on the skin. I wore them for 30 minutes, and the patches stayed well on the skin without slipping down and felt very comfortable. They are also a bit bigger than regular eye patches in a box, which I really like. They cover larger areas under the eyes ☺️ The result was basically like other eye patches I use, no wow effect (because I don’t have issues with dark circles or bags). BUT that’s by no means negative! The skin under my eyes felt super plump, hydrated, and soothed 🩵 And I didn’t get any reactions under my eyes after use. I like to massage in the remaining serum under my eyes and let it absorb before applying other skincare and makeup. I also think the concealer applied very nicely under the eyes after using these patches. It says these eye patches should: ▫️Give firmer and more youthful skin ▫️Give a beer glow ▫️Strengthen the skin barrier ▫️Strengthen and rebuild the skin ..But to see these visible results, I probably need to use more than just the 5 packs included and use them regularly over a longer period. So unfortunately, I can’t say anything about these results 😅 Therefore, I give them 4/5 stars. But I’m very happy they contain PDRN, as I’ve become very fond of skincare with PDRN lately 🐟 The packaging can also be discussed both positively and negatively. You get less product for your money than if you bought a box with 30 patches (15 uses = 30 kr per use). While these cost 50 kr per use – at full price, not on sale. But considering the quality, ingredients, and the Korean hydrogel technology in these, they are definitely worth it 🩵 Also, it’s genius to be able to bring one or two packs on trips or on the go if you need a little moisture boost before a special occasion. I was sooooo happy when I got a message that a package was on its way from Lyko & I got to be a tester for Xlash's eye patches! I've heard a lot of good things about Xlash's products, so it was extra fun to get to try these out! I really liked that they came in separate packages, they were easy to take out of the packaging & put on. They had the right amount of serum & didn’t slide around on the skin, they stayed on really well, which is a big plus for me! They gave a lot of moisture & calmed down swollen eyes. I received this perfume as #lykoinflutester and have now tried it a few times to be able to judge what I think about it. First, I have to say that I am a very picky person when it comes to scent and perfume, so what I think will surely be liked by many others😅 I actually just read other reviews and saw that many were satisfied and really like this scent. But nope, this scent did not suit my taste at all, it is too spicy and strong for me. I think it’s the cardamom that takes over🤔 I prefer lighter, clean, and vanilla scents, so this one became way too heavy (also for my migraine-prone head😓) The scent is described as sensual, elegant, and sophisticated. I guess you can agree with that! Otherwise, I think the bottle design is nice and the box the perfume comes in feels luxurious❤️ The bottle is a full 50ml so it will last a good while and the price isn’t particularly high either. These are eye gels for those of us who like hefty masks under the eyes – they moisturize and brighten a large area under the eyes, which I really like. They are also refreshing and cooling, and give a more youthful appearance after use. I also like that they contain a lot of serum! Spicy and addictive
I have, as #lykoinflutester, had the chance to try this lovely creation from #meira! I have no idea who the person is, but I later understood that she has participated in Melodifestivalen, but I don't know more than that. I liked this scent! I think it works best in the evening because it is spicy and a bit vanilla/caramel. It’s supposed to have saffron in it, but I’m not quite sure if I can detect it? However, I do smell a caramel-like scent, and the bergamot shines through faintly! I think this scent makes you feel calm, safe, and cozy! The bottle feels good in the hand, feels solid, and really glows in color! The color fits the scent perfectly! The box is sleek and solid as well! It’s sturdy and not thin/flimsy like most perfume boxes. The box has a recess where you place the perfume. A sturdy and solid lid that you pull straight up, so the box becomes two parts. . I think if you like Cacharel’s Yes I Am (the first, red), Donna Karan’s Cashmere & Palo Santo, and Benjamin Barber’s Saffron Intense – then this is a safe bet!! I like all three very much, and I think this reminds me a bit of them 🥰 What lowers the rating a bit is that the longevity isn’t the best... maybe lasts 2-3 hours MAX on me, and the scent is only noticeable if you stand very close. Nice on the go
This is the perfect product to have in your beach bag. I like that it’s small and easy to carry on the go, since many of us are a bit too lazy to reapply sunscreen throughout the day. The formula is like a solid lip balm, quite greasy and feels long-lasting in use. I also really appreciate that there’s no synthetic fragrance in the product. It feels a bit greasy on the skin, or maybe more like a slightly firm “wax-like” consistency, but this didn’t bother me much since it melts more into the skin when you rub it in. I think it offers good value for the money (161 kr, 8 g), as it’s quite long-lasting. However, it’s probably best suited as an emergency solution/for use on the go rather than a sunscreen you use regularly, since it takes a bit of time and effort to apply properly. It’s so small that I’ve only used it on my face and on the most exposed parts of the body, like scars and moles. I don’t have “problem skin” and don’t struggle with acne or sensitivity, so I didn’t react to this. However, I can imagine it might be comedogenic for those who easily get breakouts from greasy creams, since it contains both shea and coconut fats, and isopropyl palmitate, all of which are comedogenic (clog pores). Great for the face
This sunscreen is one of the best I've tried for the face. The formula is relatively thin and not greasy or sticky. There is no strong scent, and the cream absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving a shiny or greasy layer. I find it very comfortable to use under makeup and experienced no "layer peeling" or that the makeup wore worse with the sunscreen underneath. I also think it offers good value for money, as it is 50 ml for 199 kr. I personally don't have issues with acne-prone or sensitive skin, but since it is not greasy and has no strong scent, I don't see it causing breakouts or skin reactions. Since this sunscreen also has a chemical filter, it does not leave a bluish layer on the skin like sunscreens with physical filters often do. I have quite fair skin, so I don't struggle much with this, but I imagine this sunscreen can safely be used by those with darker skin tones as well since it doesn't give the skin that bluish layer.
