MY SKIN: I am 32, have mild rosacea, and a somewhat dry skin type. RATING: I want a highlighter to give just the right amount of glow, and above all, it should blend in nicely. I hate when they leave big glitter particles on the skin, but that was not a problem here! #nars highlighter feels luxurious, both in the packaging and the pigmentation. It’s such a nice shade! It doesn’t take much at all to get a nice glow, and the makeup lasts all day! Even though I’ve worked outside for longer periods in drizzling rain, it has held up nicely. So that it is water and sweat-resistant for up to 10 hours, I can really vouch for! The price is, however, quite hard to justify. Really good basic bronzer!
I got this #makeupstore Iconic Glow Bronzer in shade 20 Terracotta to test as part of #lykoinflutester product testing. The shade of the product is perfect for me, as it works when my skin is at its lightest, and when I have used self-tanner. The shade is warmer, so it’s clearly a bronzer and not a contour product, but it’s not too warm or orange on light skin. The product is not completely matte, so it creates a very natural, velvety finish. The product applies well with a brush. It’s not too pigmented, so application is effortless, but it’s also easy to build up the product. Excellent product, especially if you’re not familiar with using powder products. The product is really a good basic bronzer that can easily be used in everyday makeup, but also to create a deeper makeup look! The best highlighter you can find!
I've been using this highlighter for a few weeks now and I'm completely sold, this is something beyond the ordinary! Since I tend to be more on the oily side, I usually need to set my makeup quite well, which also gives me a very matte look. Therefore, a good highlighter is A & O in my makeup routine, because who wants to look matte and dull? This incredible highlighter gives such an amazing glow! It lays down like a natural shimmer on the face without looking fake. It truly is glow without glitter, so it reflects beautifully in light. Moreover, it stays in place all day, without losing its shine or going the other way - giving a too sweaty result. I apply this with a medium-sized brush with long, loose bristles. It makes it sweep nicely on the skin and just melts in without clear lines. I've also used it as a little extra shimmer on the eyelids, then I use my pinky finger and get such a nice result. It does cost its price, but there is soooo much product. I believe this will last at least a year! Just in these four weeks, I've used it daily, and the product still looks completely unused. A lovely blush 🌸
I have been testing this blush NARS Multiple Orgasm Crave for a few weeks and I like it so much! I am 33 years old and have normal/oily skin that is not dry at all right now. I have some pores on my face that can either be highlighted or concealed with the right products. This creamy, soft, glowy blush works so well for me! It really melts into the skin and is so easy to blend without getting patchy or disturbing the makeup underneath. I think it looks nice both as a cream base under a powder makeup but also for a natural look with just this. I think this would be perfect in the summer! I was initially skeptical about the color, as I am more into red/darker shades for blush. But I still think this looks incredibly nice and I like it so much! The only thing that brings it down from a full score is that it is a bit weak in pigmentation. If I don't apply the product directly to my face, I need to use quite a bit of product to get an effect! Wonderful creamy but not for me!
I have tested this concealer from NARS for a few weeks and no matter how much I want to like it, it really doesn't suit me. I am 33 years old with some signs of aging that are creeping in all the time. It’s the ultimate test to also try a concealer when you are most stressed in December and sleeping the least, bags under the eyes are there to say! I am currently normal to oily in skin, not at all dry (which I think it suits better for). This concealer is heeelt wonderfully creamy in its consistency and I can really imagine that for some it is 5/5, it really melts into the skin. For me, however, it’s completely wrong, it’s TOO creamy which makes it not really adhere. I have tried applying both with a brush, sponge, and finger and for me, it’s only the finger that works. This creases very easily on me in the lines, I have to set it with very little powder otherwise it gets cakey. It really requires precision to get it to sit nicely. I also can’t build up more coverage without it creasing! I also think it has zero coverage and since I can’t build layers without it getting cakey, it doesn’t do much for me, as I like full cover makeup. However, in the summer, I might have liked it more when I want a bit lighter makeup. Durable and good mist!
I have tested this for a few weeks and it has become a regular companion during the holiday party season💅 I must honestly admit that I have never been able to get into setting powder, so a good setting spray has become my best friend when it comes to keeping my makeup on all night long! This spray from Rebecca Stella lives up to all the areas I think a setting spray should! The bottle has a simple and nice design and the most important thing - a good and light mist that spreads evenly over the face. Extra pressure on light, I use a goood amount of sprays to feel properly covered💋 The product lasts long anyway, as it doesn't come out too much at once! I have as #LYKOINFLUTESTER gotten to try #NARS ’s Light Reflecting Luminizer Electra Highlighter for a while! Here are my opinions on the product👇🏻 💁🏼♀️ About me: I try to achieve a somewhat glowy look for everyday, but I find that matte makeup holds better. When it comes to highlighters, I have previously found that a cream or liquid often looks better since powder often has a more glittery effect than the glowy/shimmery look I want. 🧴 About the product: A packaging that fits well with the price range😍 The description of it as a hybrid between powder and serum matches my experience, and that might be why I haven’t experienced that typical powder highlighter look. ✨ Application: Applies sooooo nicely and easily! I have applied it both with my finger and with a larger powder brush for an easier glow. Really suuuper pretty and unfortunately hard to do justice through pictures. 👌🏻 Result: So so so pretty!!! This new mist from Rebecca Stella was a big favorite of mine! It smells good and has a nice even mist that doesn't "spit" out the product. The bottle is very pretty like all Rebecca Stella products😍 I have a normal/oily skin type and this mist definitely gives a glow. I might need to mattify a bit in the t-zone after using the mist. However, it does its job of setting the makeup well. I think this mist is perfect for all dry skin types. The only negative about this is that it tightens a bit on the face right after application. You can kind of feel that you have something on your face. I have been so lucky to receive NARS's Light Reflecting Luminizer in the shade “Electra” as #lykoinflutester. My name is Kristine, I am 35 years old and love everything related to beauty and makeup. Over many years, I have tested an incredible number of products from different brands. But I have still not tested a highlighter from NARS. So I was incredibly excited about this one. I am quite picky about highlighters and rarely find one that I like so much that I want to include it in my daily makeup routine 😅 The consistency of this highlighter is soft and almost a bit creamy. It is not powdery at all! Something I am very happy about, because then I know it will look natural when applied 👏🏻 The packaging is simple and cute, but I actually wish it came in black packaging like the rest of the NARS products (but maybe that’s just my OCD talking 😂). Super nice that there’s a mirror too! I apply this with a slightly large brush on the cheekbones, to avoid getting a stripe of highlighter à la 2016 makeup trend 😘 And, oh my god, how pretty this is!! It is not glittery at all (something I absolutely do not like in a highlighter), but it makes your skin look almost dewy, or like you have a naturally glowing skin 🥹 It really is a unique formula that gives a completely insane glass finish to the skin. I also apply it on the brow bone, the bridge of the nose, the inner corner of the eye, and the cupid's bow, in addition to the cheekbones - for an extra glowing base ✨ And I must say that I really love this highlighter so much. And that is not often I say about a… highlighter! 😳 It is so pretty that I can easily use this in my everyday routine as well, as you can build it up for an even more intense and glowing finish. But it also gives a perfectly natural, glass-like glow for everyday use. I have been so lucky to receive NARS's Multiple in Orgasm Crave as #lykoinflutester. My name is Kristine, I am 35 years old and love everything related to beauty and makeup. Over many years, I have tested an incredible number of products from different brands. I have tested NARS's blush sticks before - which I liked very much. But I haven't tested this new Multiple stick that is meant for both cheeks, eyes, and lips, so I was incredibly excited about this 😍 The consistency of this is incredibly fascinating. It is soft and creamy, but as soon as you get it on the skin, it becomes like a powder, which I love. I am not a fan of blush sticks that leave my cheeks sticky, which this absolutely does not do. I pick up the product with a slightly dense and soft makeup brush directly from the stick and apply it to my cheeks - for maximum control (and at the risk of ruining my base if I drag the stick over my cheeks) 😅 Something that worked perfectly! 🩷 The color “Orgasm Crave” is a lovely pink/peach color with pearls of gold. Absolutely a color I would have chosen myself in this stick, as this is a color that suits me well. The formula is super easy to build up to a slightly more intense blush color on the cheeks, and blends like a dream. And even though it dries down to a powder form, the pearl shimmer in the stick really brings out a lovely and natural glow ✨ For application on the eyes, I just use my finger - so simple! Blended just as well with my finger as with a brush. And it seriously took me 5 seconds to get it looking nice 👁️ On the lips, I applied it like a regular lipstick, and oh my god what a lovely color to have on the lips! It can feel a bit dry if you apply a lot, or several layers. But incredibly nice and pleasant if you just apply a little and top with a gloss 👄 I really love that you have so many options with this stick. The whole makeup turned out so well when both cheeks, eyes, and lips matched 🩷 And I can feel that this is going to be a product I will reach for a lot in the future. A little more than good
In my latest assignment as #lykoinflutester, I got to try this setting spray from #rebeccastella. I have combination skin with dry cheeks but an oily T-zone. I wear makeup daily, but I rarely go beyond eyes and lips. It has a sleek bottle that looks nice on display, but the spray nozzle doesn't distribute a smooth "spray", but more of a mist (hence the name) that I find a bit weak. It almost feels like it doesn't hit the face, which makes it easy to maybe use more than what is actually needed. It is very light and feels barely on the skin, which I do appreciate. My skin hasn't reacted to it, and it hasn't dried it out. The makeup then lasts all day, and in the pictures, it has both rained and there has been the occasional mental meltdown (🤪), and the makeup is basically in the same place as when I applied it in the morning. However, it handles simpler looks and everyday makeup better than glitter and glamour. The scent is fresh and not heavy at all. It does disappear immediately after application. However, it doesn't do anything better or worse than any other setting spray I've tried (and trust me - I've tried many 😅. Perfect for everyday use
As an non-professional makeup "user", I really love this setting spray for it's simplicity and efficiency. I don't often have a heavy or evening makeup, as I am one of those who needs only foundation and mascara for everyday. But during the day, foundation is more or less being all over but not on skin. I have been so lucky to receive NARS' Soft Matte Complete Concealer as #lykoinflutester. My name is Kristine, I am 35 years old and I love everything related to beauty and makeup. Over many years, I have tested an incredible number of products from different brands. And guess how happy I was when I saw that I would be testing this concealer from NARS this month! It is indeed a concealer I have had in my collection for many years - BUT I have only had it in the lightest shade “Chantilly”. Something that has been a bit silly on the days I have self-tanner (which is quite often!) This is indeed the BEST “spot-concealer” that exists on the market in my eyes 🥹👏🏻 I always spot-conceal right after skincare and before foundation. I take a small amount of concealer on a small precise makeup brush and apply it to pimples and blemishes on my face that are not covered by all types of foundation. Then I blend it out with my finger for an even application. When I put on foundation, no redness or color shows through! ❤️ The consistency of this is on the thicker side and provides full coverage. Therefore, I think it is best suited for spot-concealing. But if you warm it up between your fingers, it becomes a bit thinner and easier to work with - so you can also apply it under the eyes. But not much, a thin layer - otherwise, there will be a lot of creasing. But I personally prefer to use the liquid concealer from NARS (Radiant Creamy Concealer) under the eyes ☺️ It sits nicely both under and on top of all types of foundations I have tested. In the video, I use the concealer together with NARS' Light Reflecting Foundation - which is a big favorite here. It does not feel thick or heavy on the skin. And I really love the result this concealer gives. I also really like that it contains ingredients like Vitamin A, C, and E and hyaluronic acid and peptides that nourish the skin, especially since I usually apply it on blemishes 💦 Really a concealer that everyone struggling with pigmentation, redness, and blemishes should have in their collection. A good refresh!
I have been testing the Rebecca Stella Mist Me Setting Spray for a few weeks now, and I really like it overall 💆🏼♀️ #lykoinflutester #rebeccastella The bottle is cute and the perfect size to take on the go. It doesn't dispense too much product with each spray, which makes it easy to control the amount and area. The product settles like a light cloud over the face and doesn't feel heavy or sticky! ⭐️ The spray also smells very fresh. I have tested the spray both as a setting spray after my makeup routine, but also as a refresher throughout the day both with and without makeup underneath. It is not drying, and my skin doesn't feel dry afterward, which is a big plus! As a setting spray alone, I'm not completely sold on this product, as I find that the spray doesn't hold as well on "evening makeup" as it does on "day makeup". With simple day makeup, I think it's absolutely great and holds what it should. I have normal skin leaning towards dry, and I notice that several who rate this with five stars have oily skin. With a bit heavier evening makeup, I find that the makeup slides off and doesn't look as good as with my usual setting sprays. This could also be more about my skin type, but this product won't be a new staple setting spray for me. I have now as #lykoinflutester tested a setting spray from #rebeccastella super fun since I haven't tried anything from that brand before! 🤩 Setting spray is a must in my makeup routine, I feel that it is the final finish in the base, like the cherry on top! So I am always on the lookout for good setting sprays that do what they promise. Overall, I have almost only positive things to say about this, the makeup looks so crazy nice after application, everything melts together and it really saves a possibly cakey and dry makeup! You get a very nice glow without looking oily or shiny, it also doesn't feel heavy or sticky at all. So I would say that this is a super good product if you just want that little extra touch! Pretty color!
I was so lucky to receive 3 products from #nars to test as #lykoinflutester 😍 This blush was in stick form and I have never tried that before! I always only use powder blush, so it was exciting to try something new 🤩 I love the packaging for starters! Both the box it came in and the stick itself are super nice! 😍 The color is very pretty and has a bit of shimmer in it ✨ I first tried this using a beauty blender since I don’t have a brush for such products, but I felt I had to use quite a bit since it didn’t give much product off right away. I also tried using just the stick to apply directly to my cheek, but it pulled off my foundation. Maybe it’s best to warm it up in your hand and then use a brush or beauty blender. I only used it as a blush, but this can also be used as eyeshadow and actually a lipstick too! I got to try this setting spray from the brand #REBECCASTELLA. I have also previously tried some other products from the brand and thought they were really good, so I had no doubt that this setting spray would be good too🫶🏼 It's quite hard to compare how well a setting spray keeps makeup in place, but this one definitely does its job. It has an ultra-light feel and no stickiness. It doesn't clog the pores and contains no alcohol. I also find that it holds back a bit on the oil production in my face, as I usually get very shiny/oily on my forehead during the day. It blends the makeup nicely and hydrates with aloe vera and green tea🌿 Nice packaging, but above all, an amazing spray function that makes the product distribute nicely in clouds☁️ It also shows in the video the fine mist. The nice spray function makes it much easier when applying the product. The bottle is a good size and will last a long time. I have tried this setting spray from Rebecca Stella and I must say it’s probably one of the better ones I’ve tried. My first impression was that it wasn’t that special since the bottle felt a bit budget at first glance. However, I like that it’s completely plastic since it’s stored in the bathroom, and it might not be so easy to achieve a luxurious feel! Then I discovered while using it that it distributes the product in very, very small and fine droplets, which makes the mist settle beautifully on the face. It’s like a lovely cloud, typ! I use 4-5 sprays, but I don’t skimp. I’d rather not have too much product come out so I can adjust the amount myself. The best part about the product is that, incredibly, I don’t seem to get oily! Almost always when I wear makeup, it quickly turns to me looking greasy and oily on my forehead. I have combination skin with oily areas in the T-zone, and it actually feels like this setting spray is perfect for me! I have had the opportunity to test several products from #NARS on behalf of #lykoinflutester. ✨ I love this product! The formula is fantastic and gives such a nice, fresh result – I have only tested it on my cheeks so far, but wow what a difference it makes. The only thing I wish for is a different color, because this shade doesn't quite match my skin tone. Also, I think the color on the website doesn't quite match; in reality, it is both warmer and more light pink than in the picture. But the product itself? Absolutely wonderful!
