Perfect for winter-tired skin!
I got to test The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + PhytoCeramides as an influencer and was actually pleasantly surprised by how nice it feels on the skin. The consistency is rich but applies very smoothly and feels instantly hydrating without being heavy. What impressed me the most is that it doesn't pill at all, even when I apply a generous amount of product. That's something I often experience with more barrier-focused creams, so that alone really raises the rating for me. The formula feels very supportive for the skin barrier and gives a soft, hydrated feeling on the skin. I also appreciate that it contains hyaluronic acid, which is an ingredient I personally often look for in hydrating products. I have combination skin and am therefore quite sensitive to creams that feel clogging, but I find this one to be well-balanced, i.e., hydrating without making my skin feel trapped or overloaded. I received The Ordinary Volufiline 92% + Pal-Isoleucine 1% as an influtester, so it wasn't really something I had actively planned to buy myself from the start. Even though it's something I've been looking at for a couple of years. I became quite curious about it since I previously had issues with volume loss around my eyes after an eyelash serum (X-lash). I completely stopped using eyelash serum back then, two years ago, and slowly got most of my volume back around my eyes, but not quite all. However, I have missed having super long lashes, so I recently started using eyelash serum again (with Leonites) and wanted to be a bit more preventive this time. I've been using it around my eyes for about a month, mainly under the eyes but also a bit in my nasolabial folds. I've been quite consistent even though I've missed a few evenings here and there. So far, I actually think I can notice a slight difference, the area under my eyes looks a bit more plump and doesn't feel as dry as before, my concealer looks nicer. It's not a dramatic result after a month, but enough for me to be curious about how it can develop with longer use. I have extremely flaky lips and I’m honestly a bit of a junkie when it comes to lip products – I try almost everything. The Ordinary PHA 5% Exfoliating Lip Serum was therefore a really fun discovery for me. I use it about three times a week, and I find that it really helps to soften my lips and reduce that dry, flaky skin that I easily get. It feels gentle on the lips but still makes a difference over time. At the same time, it provides good hydration, which I really appreciate since many exfoliating lip products can feel a bit drying. Pleasant mask

Pretty strong scent
Not for scent-sensitive❌ The conditioner surprisingly had a much stronger scent than the shampoo. Not the most pleasant scent to use, but when dry, the hair smells like a salon visit! If I had to describe the scent, I would say it's quite chemical. The consistency was a bit greasy and thicker, but it spread nicely in the hair. The hair had a gorgeous shine, but I would have wished for a bit more moisture. When using the hair mask, it did its job well by locking in the moisture provided by the mask👏🏼 I don't have data on the durability of the hair color, but besides the shine, the hair felt soft, so I guess it does its job😄 The bottle design felt a bit unnecessary here since the product is thick enough that you have to squeeze it out. So wild bottle shape but I like it! I didn't really notice how this shampoo maintained hair color, but it gave shine nonetheless! The shampoo surprisingly dried my hair a lot, so the best combo would be to choose a moisturizing conditioner/hair mask to make the result worth its price! I was expecting maybe even more citrus from the scent, but for some reason it reminds me more of orange. The product comes out as a gel, which after a while turns into a foamy texture. For me, such shower foams usually end up being a disaster and the product runs out quickly, sometimes it's hard to gauge how much foam will come out. As #LYKOINFLUTESTER I got to try this product from The Ordinary! I can start by saying that I might not be the best person to test this product, as I usually don’t suffer much from dry lips. Only sometimes in the winter can I get dry lips for a few days, but nothing extreme. I was still curious to try it, as it might help make my lips look fresher and more vibrant. The product comes in a bottle with a dropper. It has a light and runny consistency, and you only need a very small amount. When you apply it to your lips, it dries down pretty quickly. It causes a feeling of the lips pulling or tightening, and I can feel it all the time – which is what I really don’t like about it. Additionally, I find that it has a quite distinct taste. I’ve tried using it overnight, and the result isn’t bad. But it’s not so good that I would choose this product specifically for dry lips. I would rather use something that feels a bit more pleasant and moisturizing. However, I think it could be useful for someone who has more issues with very dry lips. The product really delivers on its promise. I apply the product in the evenings before I go to bed, braid my hair or use a no-heat curls band and let the product work overnight. In the morning, my hair is soft, nice, and fresh. A big plus is that it doesn't weigh down the hair and the scent is quite mild and completely disappears when you wake up in the morning. As #LYKOINFLUTESTER I got to try this product from The Ordinary! I am in my late 30s and experience a bit less volume and small wrinkles around my eyes, on my forehead, and around my mouth. I use various creams, serums, and other skincare products alternatively. This product comes in a UV-protected glass dropper bottle. It's sufficiently easy to use. It has a consistency that lies between a serum and a facial oil. On the skin, it looks very shiny and gives an instant boost of radiance. I feel a slight tingling sensation when applying it. It doesn't really dry down or become less oily on the skin, so I wouldn't prefer to have it under makeup. When it comes to results, considering I've only used it for three weeks, I don't see any drastic change. I think the most visible thing is the radiance it gives immediately. Of course, if you're consistent, you might see a long-term difference. I think it's an interesting product, and since it doesn't irritate or cause any reaction, I will continue to use it until I see better results. #THEORDINARY

Not a new favorite
I received this product as #lykoinflutester, and have been testing it regularly for the past few weeks. Unfortunately, I’m not a big fan… I think it works okay to tame flyaways, but it’s not good for using in the lengths when they get dry. I find that my hair is still dry even after application (and I’ve also tried applying plenty of product). This is a spray, and alcohols will dry out, so all in all, I just don’t think this is a particularly good product, unfortunately. I prefer liquid hair oil without harmful ingredients. The only advantage is that you don’t get your hands messy. If you have fine and thin hair and find that many oils are too heavy for you, I would recommend OGX’s «Nourishing Coconut Oil Weightless Hydrating Mist» in a spray bottle instead. Received 3 #kevinmurphy products for testing for #lykoinflutester 😁 I have fine Nordic hair with a tendency for slight curls and a bit of dryness at the ends. Nice packaging and practical since the opening is right at the bottom of the bottle, so the product comes out easier. Moisturizing and Affordable
As #LYKOINFLUTESTER I got to try this product from The Ordinary, a moisturizing cream! I am in my late 30s and have a combination skin type. During the winter, I get a few dry patches on my forehead, but otherwise my skin is quite normal. I use moisturizer in combination with other serums every day. The packaging is sleek, simple but functional – very much in line with The Ordinary's brand. The cream itself has a pretty thick consistency, but it is very moisturizing, so you only need a small amount. The moisturizing effect lasts all day and it works great under makeup. It does not react with any of the makeup products I use with it. It is also completely fragrance-free. I have been so lucky to test The Ordinary's Natural Moisturizing Factors + Phytoceramides moisturizer. The formula is designed to strengthen the skin's moisture barrier using natural moisturizing factors (NMF), skin lipids, and plant-based ceramides. These ingredients are supposed to help bind moisture in the skin, reduce dryness, and give the skin a fuller and more hydrated appearance. I have been testing this cream for a while now, and my first impression is that it has quite a thick and rich texture. It feels nourishing on the skin, but is also economical in use! The cream is unfragranced and has no distinct scent, just a mild “cosmetic scent” that fragrance-free products generally have. Another big plus is that it comes in a tube. It is more hygienic than creams in a jar, as you avoid getting bacteria from fingers or nails into the product. All in all, a good and moisturizing cream at a nice price, especially if you want a richer cream that helps keep the skin hydrated throughout the day. Lip Exfoliator
I have been so lucky to test this product from The Ordinary. It is a chemical exfoliating lip serum with PHA (polyhydroxy acid) that is supposed to help remove dead skin cells and make the lips smoother and softer over time. At the same time, it also contains moisturizing ingredients that are supposed to help keep the lips hydrated. The product itself is thin and runny, which makes it a bit difficult to apply. The applicator does not make it easy to "spread" the product over the lips, as it comes in a glass bottle with a dropper. So I often ended up using my fingers to distribute it evenly on my lips, but the consistency really works against you. It is hard to dose the right amount, and because it was so runny, it dripped a little into my mouth over time - not a pleasant taste! I experienced a bit of stinging upon application, but nothing that felt uncomfortable – and that is quite normal since this is actually an exfoliating product. If you have very dry or cracked lips, it might feel a bit more, so be careful! The product should be applied and allowed to absorb without being washed off, which feels a bit unusual for an exfoliator. I didn’t notice any special results after use, but it could be the fault of the season. I really like the products from The Ordinary, and some of my staple products come from there - and their price range is unmatched. The idea behind this product is interesting, but for me, the applicator and consistency could have been a bit more user-friendly.
