I recorded the video yesterday, and I of course "had to" include text, not just speech, so everyone has the chance to enjoy the review, regardless of nationality. ☺️ I usually read the product description and see how well it matches my perception. Yesterday I recorded the video, and today I read the product description. I wanted to first get my own opinion without being influenced by what was described. So to the important part: Perfumes are something I love! But they are also very difficult (in my opinion) to review, as I find it hard to describe scents. Armani’s Power of you gives me a very fruity first impression. And that is the most prominent scent note in the perfume. The fruity scent stays all the time without disappearing. After a while, I notice a scent of vanilla (which I couldn’t quite identify in the video). And according to the description, passion fruit is the first thing described. Check on that! ✔️ Then comes frangipani (which I had to google to find out what it was). 😂 It is a tropical plant with fragrant flowers. Do I smell frangipani? Unclear, but definitely fragrant. Could be from flowers. So check on that! ✔️ Lastly, Madagascar vanilla is described. And yes, check on that too! ✔️ Armani’s Power of you is a truly fantastic scent! 🙌 I, who usually like light, floral perfumes/scents, love this one, even though it’s not only floral. The fruity note is the most prominent. But it is light, soft, and "round" in scent. And it suits both day and evening. Gives loooong lashes but...
Okay, here s the thing: I ve gotten hooked on mascaras that are brown/red and I was so happy when I could choose ✨️ burgundy haze ✨️ as #lykoinflutester. The mascara does its job, gives length and is easy to apply BUT I miss a bit of pigmentation? I don t think I see a huge difference between this color and like a very dark brown mascara. I would also have liked it in waterproof so my long, straight d83e dea lashes would hold the curl. But you can t have it all! Loved it before, but not anymore
I loved the old formulation of Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation, but the new one is unfortunately a big disappointment for me. It oxidizes throughout the day and becomes noticeably more orange, transfers onto everything it touches (despite both powder and setting spray), and the iconic matte finish is gone. I understand that the reformulation is probably due to new ingredient requirements, but the result unfortunately doesn’t feel like the same foundation. Among the biggest changes is that cyclopentasiloxane – the silicone that contributed to the matte finish – has been removed. They’ve also added hyaluronic acid for more moisture, niacinamide (which many react to), and introduced a new “polymer mesh matrix” that’s supposed to give a more natural result. For my skin, I unfortunately find that this makes the foundation transfer much more easily, settle more into pores and lines, and get a finish that feels more oily than matte. Not flattering in any way. Really sad, because this has been one of my favorites for many years. PS: If you’ve used this before and are buying it again now, you might need a different shade – I did. I got to test this primer from #lykoinflutester as a #nyxprofessionalmakeup. 😍 A primer I've seen everywhere on social media where it has gotten a lot of attention and praise! 👏 A bottle with a pump, which I love, and with a gel-like consistency. It melts quickly into the skin and leaves a feeling of “grip” on the skin as well as a moisturizing glow! ✨ I have very enlarged and visible pores that I have never experienced being “blurred” by anything I’ve tried, so my expectations weren’t very high, but I kept an open mind! I’ve had the chance to test the Sky high mascara from #lykoinflutester as a #maybelline! First and foremost, I have to praise the beautiful and distinctive packaging that has made the mascara almost iconic💅 I’ve tested Sky high before. Back then in a black shade and waterproof, which was definitely good, but something I dreaded washing off because it sticks like a MOUNTAIN🏔️ (both good and bad). This time I tested the Lash Sensational Sky High Mascara in the color Burgundy, and let me say it was better than I remember. Easy to apply with an incredible brush that reaches all lashes, doesn’t crumble throughout the day, and is very easy to wash off with just water!🚿 The only thing that lowers the rating a bit is that my expectations were for a clearer and sharper color than it had once dried. When dry, it wasn’t easy to see the burgundy shade clearly. Something the mascara should be praised for is its long-lasting wear throughout the day, the easy application, and how there were no issues when it came time to wash it off! As #lykoinflutester, it was extra fun to test a product I’ve already bought again and again! 🥹💕 I’ve been using this for a long time as an alternative to Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter, and I still think they’re quite similar. If you’re looking for a beautiful glow at a slightly nicer price, this one is really worth trying! ❤️ It doesn’t provide coverage, but the most beautiful glow! I love using it under foundation for a natural “glow from within” look, but it’s also great alone or on the high points of the face. ✨ When I first tested it, I experienced that my skin could react a bit if I used it very often. Now I use it a bit more sparingly, and it works perfectly for me. As a #lykoinflutester, I got to test the Sky High Mascara in the beautiful brown shade True Brown, and I just have to say... this mascara never disappoints! 😍🤎 I've actually been using Sky High since it came out in 2020, and it's still my number 1 mascara! ❤️ I've tried many others over the years, but always end up going back to this one. Usually, I only use waterproof mascara because I have very sensitive eyes🥹, so I was a bit curious about this one. But it really impressed me! 🤎 The color is so nice and natural, and it fits perfectly whether you're going to work, out to eat, or just want a softer look. What I love the most is that it gives long lashes with lots of lift, while keeping them looking nice all day long. 🫶🏼 A little tip from me if you want to avoid clumps: Use a clean brow brush and gently comb through your lashes both before and after applying the mascara. This one is pretty decent. It lifts the brows nicely right after you apply it, but I don’t think it holds them in place as well all day, especially if you have thicker brows. Good primer
I quite liked this one! It makes the makeup sit nicely, and the skin feels much more hydrated. I also noticed that the foundation stayed better. The only thing is that it can feel a bit sticky right after you apply it, but that disappears after a while.
