Good for keeping makeup on
I usually don't use primer, so it's good to keep that in mind when considering this product. I've tested it both alone and under makeup, but unfortunately, I don't notice any big difference when it comes to plumping the skin. I also don't feel that the product provides much moisture to the skin. I have as #lykoinflutester gotten to try #lorealparis Paradise Lumi Glotion Highlighter 903 Medium Glow. The creamy, lightweight formula is super easy to work with – it melts into the skin and gives a dewy, light-reflecting finish without looking glittery or cakey. I would have liked more of the "glitter feel" but that’s not really the product's purpose - hence 4 instead of 5 stars. The shade Medium Glow suited me, being very pale - it adds a warm, sun-kissed glow that looks fresh and lively whether used alone or on top of foundation. It’s not super pigmented. The highlighter gives more of a subtle but visible shimmer that catches the light beautifully and flatteringly. I really like this💗 The product gives an instant glow and can easily be used alone on days when I just want to look a bit fresher without applying full makeup. The product gives me a slightly tanner tone than I actually have, especially in the winter months, so I could probably enjoy a lighter variant more. I prefer to apply it only with my fingers, which I prefer, and it is very easy to work with. It sits nicely on the skin and feels lighter than foundation. Sweet and fresh! It's more than enough with a spritz, and after about 30 minutes it actually doesn't smell that strong. The scent has a summer vibe. No Hold
This mascara comes with a thin brush, which was a bit unusual for me as I usually prefer a thicker one. At the same time, it’s very nice for getting along the lower lash line, which is definitely a plus – even though I personally rarely use makeup under my eyes 🌟 The lashes became long and pretty right away, but unfortunately, I experienced that they "collapsed" a bit after a short time 🥲 I’m quite picky when it comes to mascara and want it to hold the shape I give the lashes with an eyelash curler. Often, I actually don’t use mascara at all because my lashes look nice just with the curler, so if I do use mascara, I want it to enhance the effect even more. A long-lasting good mascara✨
I have tested the Maybelline Sky High Mascara, and my experience is quite positive, but without the big “wow” effect. I have used it every time I have done my makeup for a few weeks now, including on Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve, and the tearful day we found out the gender of the Baby in my belly! The mascara doesn't run when it comes in contact with water🤩 It holds incredibly well throughout the day without flaking, which is a big plus. I've been using the NYX Plump Right Back Primer for a few weeks now, and it has pleasantly surprised me. The consistency is light and gel-like, and it absorbs quickly without feeling sticky. Why has no one told me about this product before? Wow! I haven't been much of a fan of primer before, but have only been focused on a good skincare routine under my makeup. I've experienced that primers often bead up and clump. But NOT this one 👋🏼 The primer is a bit "sticky" and lays nicely on the skin. It creates a good base for the foundation that simply sticks like a magnet to the skin, without beading at all! My makeup stayed like a SHOT on New Year's Eve - from 4:30 PM until I was home around four! My makeup hadn't moved a millimeter. I'm taking this to the grave! I love this lightweight product 😍✨ It glides on smoothly on the skin and just looks like a little glow filter. I use this either on days when I only want light makeup, or I use it under foundation for a nice glowing base. Multi-use, so! Additionally, you can just use it on the cheekbones and other places you want to highlight. I think it's subtle enough to use all over the face! In the picture, I only have this on, and you really don't need more. This will be super for summer when you just want to even out the skin with a lightweight product 🧡 I also think the packaging is absolutely excellent with the little tip. Where's the WOW feeling?
Maybe I raised my expectations too high because I fell off really quickly. Let's start with the jar: the large size of the jar is really misleading and gives a distorted picture of the product's actual amount. I appreciate, however, that I think I could buy a refill pack. The product itself smells really strong, I'm not sensitive to scents, but this was really intense. The consistency was greasy, but it absorbed into the skin really quickly. Although my skin felt soft after use, I don't feel that this cream moisturized enough because my skin felt dry in the mornings. So maybe this is more of a wrinkle cream? The plumping effect was experienced in my eyes in the morning when I hadn't read the instructions closely enough and the cream had gotten into the area around my eyes. I looked like I had been crying for a week😂 So watch out for your eyes! Because of this, my use of the cream became very cautious, so maybe I didn't get the promised results? The instructions say the product is suitable for use in the mornings as well, but since the product didn't work under makeup at all, I only used it in the evenings. As #LYKOINFLUTESTER I got to try these eye masks From Verso skincare. I’m in my late 30s and my skin is combination. Certain areas need more hydration specifically during winter. My under eye is very sunken and kind of dark in corners as skin is very thin. So I tend to love eye masks as it helps to lift and give some moisture to the skin. These are 30 pairs of hydrogel masks. Comes in a simple tub. The shape and packaging looks very similar to many other brands. There is a very generous amount of serum in the tub and these patches are literally floating in that. It comes with a spatula to pick up patches. They sit ok under the eye but if they have too much serum on them they can be a bit hard to apply at first as they slip around a bit. It says you can have patches on for 20-30 mins but in my experience it will be dry after 20 mins. I love to have them on early morning and I have used them regularly. They hydrate and feel so good. However can’t see so much difference when it comes to darkness yet however they are perfect to put on before applying makeup as they make the skin hydrated and smooth. I understand why many mention in their reviews that the face doesn't feel clean after use. The skin feels like it has been rubbed with oil, which was really confusing at first😄 But that doesn't mean the face hasn't been cleaned! This product is not meant for makeup removal but specifically for the second part of double cleansing to clean the face. For my needs, I feel that this product is more what I crave for my body. Very dry and itchy skin, so I also see how this works perfectly for people who have the same problem on their faces! The product leaves the skin wonderfully soft🤩 I love Cerave products when I know they are safe to use, and it's great that this product can also be used for the body. Let's start with the most important: pat the product onto your face, don't rub!! There are really big differences in the result😱 I was confused at first when the product didn't feel like it was doing much, but when I changed the application technique, everything changed. My skin felt super hydrated and soft, and this product is perfect as an addition to basically any routine without mixing it in😍 It can be used morning and night and also works under makeup, which is a big plus! The product absorbs quickly and gives an immediately hydrated feeling, which is also visible from the outside! A luxurious treat
I think these eye patches are really nice to use, they feel cooling and hydrating right when you put them on, and the area under the eyes feels softer and more refreshed afterwards. They give a more awake impression, especially after a stressful day or a bit too little sleep. I love that they are milky and stay in place. Personally, I love eye patches and have used many different types from various brands. But for me, they have always been a "treat". They are not a miracle product or a must-have product, but pure luxury. And these are luxurious, no doubt. These are hydro mask but not that flimsy gelly kind but they have a woven fabric in one side(very thin) which makes them feel thicker, easier to manage and they sits very good. I had them on around 30 mins. It’s very hard to say about the effect as it has skincare which need to be used often to se a result but my initial thought were that for something with vitamin A it was very comfortable to use. No itching while using. After removing I could see some redness flush but it went away immediately. I like how this mask feels on the skin, it’s cooling and hydrating right when you put it on, and the skin feels softer and more hydrated afterwards. It’s a two-part hydrogel mask with a good fit while staying in place without sliding around. The result was a nice glow and the feeling of hydration lasted long after. I left it on for about 1.5 hours for maximum effect, which made it more transparent. Nice immediate effect of the mask if you want a quick refresh.
