Bronzer, highlight, and similar products aren’t really my thing, but as a #lykoinflutester you try everything, and of course you want more #urbandecay ❗️ Admit that something went wrong, I tried to find a light/neutral shade but didn’t find one among the options I got, but now I see from other users that it exists 🙈 Like the nice bottle where you have to squeeze a bit extra to get the product out, which is just the right consistency. 🌺 I find it fragrance-free - love that! Would so love to like these..
I’ve been so lucky to get to test these eye patches from #xlash as #lykoinflutester 🌸 ✨ I often struggle with eye patches sliding all over my face, so I was very curious if these would stay in place – and they did! They slid a bit in the first few minutes, but after settling, they stayed very well. Hooray! ✨ I actually felt that the serum absorbed well into the skin, instead of just sitting on top like I often experience with other patches. ✨ It was incredibly nice and soothing to put them on the skin straight from the fridge ❄️ ✨ I also really liked the packaging. Each pair comes in its own little pack, which feels both hygienic and practical. ⚠️ Unfortunately, my sensitive skin reacted to these. I got red rashes in the areas where the patches had been throughout the day, and the next day I had several red and burning small blisters on my skin – a bit like the feeling of being severely sunburned. Great glow!!
I never really understood the point of glow products and actually thought they weren’t for me. That’s why I was extra pleasantly surprised by this one. The product gives a beautiful glow without being too intense or glittery✨ It blends easily into the skin and works very well both with moisturizer and CC Cream. I use it together with the CC Cream from It Cosmetics, and think the combination gives a natural and fresh result✨ It’s also very versatile. I have used it as a highlighter, but also as a light shimmer on the eyelids. On days when I don’t wear makeup, I like to apply a bit of this to give the skin extra glow and life🫶🏽 The only downside is the lid!! Not very practical, and somewhat hard to get off. Are there really any better setting sprays than Urban Decay? I use the original All Nighter regularly, so I was very excited to test this glow variant. I was a bit afraid the result would be more shiny than glowing, but this really surprised me positively✨ The spray distributes evenly, the bottle has a nice design, and most importantly it keeps the makeup in place for hours. I actually used it for the first time on my wedding day, and despite blazing sun, sweat, and some tears, the makeup stayed just as nice all day long. These eye gel pads provide plenty of moisture and feel very comfortable on the skin. They cool well, stay nicely in place, and the area under the eyes looks fresher and more hydrated after use. I also find that the skin becomes softer and smoother. I deduct one star because the packaging contains unnecessarily much plastic. I was instantly hooked on the Lip Glow Oil Balm because it feels like the perfect 2-go product. The color Honey is a neutral shade that's hard to go wrong with, and I like that it has a bit of color but still looks very natural. On the lips, it's super comfortable: moisturizing, soft, and above all not as sticky as some glosses and oils can be. I really wish all shades had SPF30 because that would probably make me use it more, as lips are something you often forget about. I love lip balms, and it might be the beauty product I use the most, and I prefer products you can apply without thinking. I want something that works without a mirror and doesn't require you to be super precise, and I want it to feel comfortable on the lips all the time. A bit about my skin: combination with occasional blemishes, young skin, dry in winter & autumn, redness, dark circles under the eyes as a toddler mom and nurse. Real everyday luxury to take out cold eye patches from the fridge in the morning🫧 I like that they are individually packaged, so convenient to bring along! I have tested Hush Hush by Meira Omar for a few weeks and must say it really caught my interest right away 🤩 I usually don’t like warm and sweet perfumes, but the combination of saffron, cardamom, vanilla, and toffee surprised me from the start. I can also add that I usually choose more characterful and deep scents, and this one made me consider how much sweetness can be in a sensual and feminine fragrance without it becoming too candy-like. On my skin, the scent opens spicy and elegant, but after a while, the warmer tones come out and then it becomes really cozy and feminine. The vanilla and toffee give a soft sweetness without feeling too heavy or sugary. Got to try this lovely face cream that Lyko influencer tests ✨ You definitely get the promised glass skin effect! 😍 The cream has a relatively thin consistency but is still rich enough to really feel moisturizing. I have dry skin and it fully absorbs into the skin without leaving any film or stickiness 🩵 You squeeze the product out through a narrow nozzle, which makes it easy to get just the right amount of product 🥰 Good size and reasonable price! You need very little, so it feels long-lasting. My skin is somewhat sensitive but it hasn’t reacted to this, which it sometimes does with niacinamide. I was so lucky to receive XLASH’s Hydra Glow PDRN Eye Gels to test out, like #lykoinflutester 🩵 I’m 35 years old, have normal to dry skin, which can be a bit sensitive at times. Luckily, I don’t struggle with dark circles or bags under my eyes, but I love using eye patches to prevent and provide maximum moisture to the area under my eyes. My first impression when I opened the first pack of these was that they were sooo juicy! The serum really dripped from the pack 💦 I keep them in the fridge, so they were very cooling and soothing on the skin. I wore them for 30 minutes, and the patches stayed well on the skin without slipping down and felt very comfortable. They are also a bit bigger than regular eye patches in a box, which I really like. They cover larger areas under the eyes ☺️ The result was basically like other eye patches I use, no wow effect (because I don’t have issues with dark circles or bags). BUT that’s by no means negative! The skin under my eyes felt super plump, hydrated, and soothed 🩵 And I didn’t get any reactions under my eyes after use. I like to massage in the remaining serum under my eyes and let it absorb before applying other skincare and makeup. I also think the concealer applied very nicely under the eyes after using these patches. It says these eye patches should: ▫️Give firmer and more youthful skin ▫️Give a beer glow ▫️Strengthen the skin barrier ▫️Strengthen and rebuild the skin ..But to see these visible results, I probably need to use more than just the 5 packs included and use them regularly over a longer period. So unfortunately, I can’t say anything about these results 😅 Therefore, I give them 4/5 stars. But I’m very happy they contain PDRN, as I’ve become very fond of skincare with PDRN lately 🐟 The packaging can also be discussed both positively and negatively. You get less product for your money than if you bought a box with 30 patches (15 uses = 30 kr per use). While these cost 50 kr per use – at full price, not on sale. But considering the quality, ingredients, and the Korean hydrogel technology in these, they are definitely worth it 🩵 Also, it’s genius to be able to bring one or two packs on trips or on the go if you need a little moisture boost before a special occasion. I was sooooo happy when I got a message that a package was on its way from Lyko & I got to be a tester for Xlash's eye patches! I've heard a lot of good things about Xlash's products, so it was extra fun to get to try these out! I really liked that they came in separate packages, they were easy to take out of the packaging & put on. They had the right amount of serum & didn’t slide around on the skin, they stayed on really well, which is a big plus for me! They gave a lot of moisture & calmed down swollen eyes. I received this perfume as #lykoinflutester and have now tried it a few times to be able to judge what I think about it. First, I have to say that I am a very picky person when it comes to scent and perfume, so what I think will surely be liked by many others😅 I actually just read other reviews and saw that many were satisfied and really like this scent. But nope, this scent did not suit my taste at all, it is too spicy and strong for me. I think it’s the cardamom that takes over🤔 I prefer lighter, clean, and vanilla scents, so this one became way too heavy (also for my migraine-prone head😓) The scent is described as sensual, elegant, and sophisticated. I guess you can agree with that! Otherwise, I think the bottle design is nice and the box the perfume comes in feels luxurious❤️ The bottle is a full 50ml so it will last a good while and the price isn’t particularly high either. Spicy and addictive
I have, as #lykoinflutester, had the chance to try this lovely creation from #meira! I have no idea who the person is, but I later understood that she has participated in Melodifestivalen, but I don't know more than that. I liked this scent! I think it works best in the evening because it is spicy and a bit vanilla/caramel. It’s supposed to have saffron in it, but I’m not quite sure if I can detect it? However, I do smell a caramel-like scent, and the bergamot shines through faintly! I think this scent makes you feel calm, safe, and cozy! The bottle feels good in the hand, feels solid, and really glows in color! The color fits the scent perfectly! The box is sleek and solid as well! It’s sturdy and not thin/flimsy like most perfume boxes. The box has a recess where you place the perfume. A sturdy and solid lid that you pull straight up, so the box becomes two parts. . I think if you like Cacharel’s Yes I Am (the first, red), Donna Karan’s Cashmere & Palo Santo, and Benjamin Barber’s Saffron Intense – then this is a safe bet!! I like all three very much, and I think this reminds me a bit of them 🥰 What lowers the rating a bit is that the longevity isn’t the best... maybe lasts 2-3 hours MAX on me, and the scent is only noticeable if you stand very close. Nice on the go
This is the perfect product to have in your beach bag. I like that it’s small and easy to carry on the go, since many of us are a bit too lazy to reapply sunscreen throughout the day. The formula is like a solid lip balm, quite greasy and feels long-lasting in use. I also really appreciate that there’s no synthetic fragrance in the product. It feels a bit greasy on the skin, or maybe more like a slightly firm “wax-like” consistency, but this didn’t bother me much since it melts more into the skin when you rub it in. I think it offers good value for the money (161 kr, 8 g), as it’s quite long-lasting. However, it’s probably best suited as an emergency solution/for use on the go rather than a sunscreen you use regularly, since it takes a bit of time and effort to apply properly. It’s so small that I’ve only used it on my face and on the most exposed parts of the body, like scars and moles. I don’t have “problem skin” and don’t struggle with acne or sensitivity, so I didn’t react to this. However, I can imagine it might be comedogenic for those who easily get breakouts from greasy creams, since it contains both shea and coconut fats, and isopropyl palmitate, all of which are comedogenic (clog pores). Great for the face
This sunscreen is one of the best I've tried for the face. The formula is relatively thin and not greasy or sticky. There is no strong scent, and the cream absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving a shiny or greasy layer. I find it very comfortable to use under makeup and experienced no "layer peeling" or that the makeup wore worse with the sunscreen underneath. I also think it offers good value for money, as it is 50 ml for 199 kr. I personally don't have issues with acne-prone or sensitive skin, but since it is not greasy and has no strong scent, I don't see it causing breakouts or skin reactions. Since this sunscreen also has a chemical filter, it does not leave a bluish layer on the skin like sunscreens with physical filters often do. I have quite fair skin, so I don't struggle much with this, but I imagine this sunscreen can safely be used by those with darker skin tones as well since it doesn't give the skin that bluish layer. ✨️ FINALLY TRYING THIS SPRAY! ✨️ I've been wanting to buy it myself for so long, but just never got around to it, so when I get the chance as a #Lykoinflutester to try this setting spray from #urbandecay, expectations are high. 🙈 The bottle is sleek, feels like you get quite a lot of product compared to many others. I chose the "natural" one, as I don't want to be shiny, especially not during summer. ☀️ The spray itself is really a mist, you can see how nicely distributed and even it is in the video (slow motion). 🙌🏻 🌺 The scent is very light and pleasant, so if you have trouble with scents (like me), this shouldn't be something to worry about! 🙌🏻 It says to spray at least 10 times, so I follow the advice. 📸 Tested it first on a "normal" day, no powder or touch ups and took an after photo (the light changed, not edited). Suitable for everyone
I love that this sunscreen is completely neutral. This sunscreen has no noticeable scent, which I really like. It feels better for the body to apply something that doesn’t smell very synthetic or strong. I’m personally a fan of synthetic sunscreen scents, but I appreciate that this line stays neutral and simple, so it can be used by anyone. The formula is also very nice and requires little effort and stress. On my skin, the cream absorbed deeply after I worked it in a bit. I’ve previously used sunscreens in oil, gel, and much thicker versions, but I prefer this light consistency, which doesn’t leave a sticky layer on the skin or require much effort to fully rub in. (In the attached pictures, I haven’t fully rubbed the cream into the skin, just to show the consistency; it becomes invisible on the skin when fully applied.) I also think this sunscreen offers very good value for money, with 177 ml for 191 kr. I also prefer to use SPF 30 on my body and have noticed that many sunscreens on the market cost significantly more in SPF 50 versions. The difference in protection between SPF 30 (97%) and SPF 50 (98%) is marginal, so it’s good to know when looking for sunscreens. I couldn’t find any of the CeraVe sunscreens in the Consumer Council’s sunscreen test, but I saw on the Nordic Swan Ecolabel list that it is not Swan-labeled. I know that sunscreens with chemical filters often contain chemicals that are less biodegradable than sunscreens with physical filters. The only thing I’m dissatisfied with about this product is that I wish it were easier to see where CeraVe’s products fall on the environmental scale. Nice self care moment
I received the product to test from Lyko, and this is the first time I’ve used any kind of "eye masks." The product itself was pleasant on the skin, the cool feeling refreshes nicely, and the skin looked slightly elastic after the patches. A small minus, however, is that the product is single-use. I believe the product could also work well in a more ecological form, without producing so much plastic waste. I actually thought these eye patches were really good. They feel comfortable under the eyes and moisturize well. Perfect when you're tired or want to give your skin a little extra glow. Soothing and Refreshing 💜
When I got the message that these were on their way home to me – I screamed with joy! I LOVE eye patches 😍 I usually use Xlash’s in a jar, so I was very excited to test these! These Hydra Glow PDRN Eye Gels are supposed to immediately boost glow, provide deep hydration, and visibly reduce puffiness around tired eyes. I can truly say they do! The last few months have been the final stretch of my bachelor’s degree with submitting my thesis, exams, and the first trimester of pregnancy. The recipe for tired and worn-out eyes 👀 These have been a lifesaver for me. The eyes quickly feel soothed, refreshed, and the puffiness around the eyes calms down immediately. I keep these in the fridge for max effect, and wow, how nice that is! I have been testing XLASH Hydra Glow PDRN Eye Gels since 5/26 and I am actually really impressed ✨ This is the first time I try something from XLASH and I like them so much more than I thought!
