SMOLDER - perfect for fair skin
I have texture on my skin and usually avoid creamy products, but the application completely surprised me. The product delivered on its promise: it felt really moisturizing and didn’t cling to uneven skin. The durability exceeded expectations, as the shade stayed beautiful all day without separate setting or powdering. The shade smolder was perfect for contouring my fair skin. Subtle enough but you can still see the contour. It also felt moisturizing, no wonder when you look at what it contains. It was a privilege to try Milk Makeup products. This was my first from them. I have now tested this moisturizer for about a month and I am really impressed!! To start with, I am very fond of the packaging! Not only is it really nice, but I also love the lid itself – not a screw cap like it usually is (which personally drives me crazy, having to get it right on the threads or whatever it's called), but this lid you just pull off and when you're done you just press the lid back on, no twisting 😊 Then pressing on the container itself to get exactly the right amount is magical! I love packaging like this and definitely worth 5 stars. Before we get into how I experience the cream itself, here’s a quick overview of my skin type: 👋Mature. 👋Normal, but tends to be dry during the colder months. 👋Can be a bit sensitive. What I like about this: 👌I love that it is rich in a "non-greasy" way. 👌It absorbs very quickly, leaves absolutely no sticky residue. (I don’t have to wait forever to put on makeup in the morning!) 👌I don’t notice any scent at all and as far as I can see, it’s completely fragrance-free, big plus! 👌I haven’t had any negative reactions to it, so I’d say it’s also suitable for sensitive skin. 👌Gives a nice "just right" glow. 👌For me, the most important thing is that a day cream doesn’t clash with foundation, and this one handles that perfectly. We were so lucky to get to test this product over some time, but unfortunately I have to say that this became a scent that is way too sweet for me. Sweet and sour scent!
I thought the scent would be a bit more tropical, but instead you are met with a strong and rounded sweet and sour scent. The scent feels quite powerful and strong in some way. If you are sensitive to scents, you probably won’t like it that much. The bottle design is nice, the bottle is easy to use, and you get a lot of product for the price. I have used the mist a few times but don’t really feel it’s a favorite. The scent disappears quickly from the body, in my opinion, but it lingers on clothes for a long time. I’ve also tried the mist in my hair, but I didn’t like it because of the strong scent. As a #lykoinflutester, I have tested the Hair and Body Mist Tropic Like It´s Hot 240 ml from the brand #bylyko For me, it’s simply a bit too much and a product I usually don’t use 😅 The scent becomes very sweet and too intense for me. I also find it a bit much to spray both hair and body with such a distinct and strong fragrance. The product itself is very nice for those who like sweet, tropical scents. Personally, this is not something I will use. I prefer a good perfume over spraying a mist on myself. Anyway, I would definitely recommend the product to those who like typical mists. There is a lot of fragrance in this product, and not least, you get a large and good bottle that lasts a long time! For me, it’s a big downside because when I think of tropical scents, I think of a fresh and light fragrance. Thank you Lyko for giving me the opportunity to test this amazingly wonderful Core Styler! Here are my thoughts and experiences! This styler is really great with its 5 attachments/nozzles to style hair in different looks! Dry, curl, and straighten the hair! A bit about my hair: Coarse strands, untreated, long down to my butt, thick and a bit frizzy! Unruly and takes a lot of time to fix! But this wonderful styler has now changed that! The dryer has a sleek design, is simple and so easy to handle, and weighs almost nothing, it’s so nice! The air feels soft and pleasant, and the hair looks so nice afterward! With its 3 different heat settings, 3 speeds, and cool air, it’s easy to adjust with light presses! The different styling nozzles are easy to attach and remove with a click. I love this styling tool! The hair becomes soft and shiny from the flat brush, a real favorite! It detangles the hair and gives it a nice shine and softness! Blow-drying my hair was a dream, it didn’t take long and the air is really nice for the hair, which becomes airy and beautiful! The round brush was a bit harder with my hair, I think it’s because of the length (maybe the weight). I mostly used it to style the sides back and create soft waves in the lengths. This styler has made me truly love curling my hair! Magical, the airflow around catches the hair and wraps it around the spool, and then you just follow along....😊! And it goes smoothly and fast! Lovely serum!
As one of Lyko's Influtesters, I got to try this product and my opinion about it is 100% my own. ✨ My age and skin type: 36 years old. I have combination skin but sometimes get dry patches on my face. My skin sometimes feels dehydrated and tight despite an oily T-zone. Prone to small pimples on the face, possibly hormonal. Relatively large pores. Slight redness on the cheeks. ✨ Packaging: Nice glass bottle, feels a bit luxurious. I don’t love serum bottles with pumps because 50% of the time the product splatters. I prefer a dropper where I can better control how much serum I want. ✨ The product and results: The results are really good. I feel that the pores around my nose have become significantly smaller after using it morning and night. The skin texture also feels smoother. Plus fewer breakouts of small pimples. A product I will continue to use. Very gentle product that can be used every day. ✨ Price: Currently a good price due to discount, otherwise it costs 215 SEK which is an okay price. Fantastic moisture bomb that creates the perfect makeup base
I have tried Paula’s Choice Pro-Collagen Peptide Plumping Intensive Cream and am incredibly impressed. This cream truly does what it promises when it comes to giving the skin moisture, plumpness, and a beautiful glow. Dry lines feel instantly plumped and the skin stays soft all day. What I like best, besides the results, is how incredibly fast it absorbs into the skin. Even though it’s an intensive and rich cream, it doesn’t leave any greasy or sticky residue. It works absolutely fantastic under makeup. Foundation and concealer apply so beautifully on top without rolling or caking, making it a perfect moisturizing base. Additionally, I have to give a big plus for the packaging. The smart pump function is incredibly convenient, hygienic, and makes it easy to dose just the right amount. The only downside for me is the scent. Since the product is completely fragrance-free, the ingredients have a rather special smell (a bit chemical or plasticky) right upon application, but it disappears quickly so it’s nothing bothersome in the long run. Tastes incredible & feels incredible! 👌🏼 Wouldn't call it a “gloss balm” as it doesn't feel particularly glossy, more like a shiny balm. Affordable and good!
I have tested this round brush for a couple of weeks and really like it. It can both style the hair straight and add some bounce at the ends. It depends a bit on how you use it. What I really like about it is that you can adjust how much power you want on the blow and on the heat. If my hair is very wet, I have max blow and max heat. If I want to style the bangs when the hair is dry, I can lower the blow but keep the heat. Great! It’s easy to use. The hair glides easily through the brush, and the brush is soft so it’s easy to get all the way down to the scalp. It’s incredibly affordable. You get a really good product for the money! The only downside I have is that the handle is a bit bulky and you easily hit the buttons while styling. So the heat and blow change. In my role as #lykoinflutester, I got to test two products from Paula's Choice, a brand I used frequently a few years ago but that has somewhat faded from my routine lately. So it was extra fun to rediscover an old favorite. I'm almost a bit obsessed with always having something on my lips (gloss, balm, lipstick, or cerate, it really doesn't matter), even though I rarely have dry lips. The only times it happens is if I've used a drying product or when the weather is extremely cold or hot. The Pro-Collagen Peptide Gloss Balm is described as a 3-in-1 product combining lip treatment, lip balm, and lip gloss. It is also supposed to give the lips a plumper feel, but I actually don't notice that effect. However, that's not something that bothers me. I really like the applicator. It is slimmer and more precise than many other similar products, which makes application easy and pleasant. It feels light and smooth, not clumsy at all. The formula itself is a bit thicker than many other gloss balms, which means you need to press a little harder on the tube to get the product out, but that's not a problem, just unusual. On the lips, the product feels wonderfully comfortable, not particularly sticky or tacky. It gives a nice shine that feels neither too much nor too little. The shade Toasted Vanilla gives a subtle brown color that suits both everyday and party occasions. It also has a mild and pleasant vanilla scent. The only thing I wish is that the product lasted a bit longer on the lips. Unfortunately, it disappears quite quickly on me, which means I need to reapply more often than I would like. A really lovely lip product with a nice feel, beautiful shine, and a smooth applicator. Love the scent! I wondered, how does pistachio smell as a "perfume"? 😅 Was positively surprised. Really liked the scent. It’s not "light", more like a bit "strong", but that suits me perfectly. I have, as a #lykoinflutester, gotten to try the Infrared Blowout Air Brush #bylyko 💖 The blow-dry brush comes nicely packaged in pink and is white and silver. It’s big but light. I don’t have direct experience styling hair with a round brush before, so it’s a bit hard to compare. However, I find it a bit difficult to really get waves/curls with it. I have a bit of natural wave in a pretty typical Scandinavian hair. No matter how I do it, my hair always gets straighter with this one. But it’s quite possible that’s more about me than the tool. Where it really shines for me is when I use it for its blow-dry function. After washing, I first towel-dry my hair, let it air dry a bit more, and then blow-dry through my hair with the brush upside down. That gives me a nice volume boost and some extra shine. It’s quick and easy too 👌 It’s a bit noisy. Not surprisingly loud for this type of product and at an okay level, I think. I sometimes accidentally hit the buttons for temperature and wind strength during use. The brush itself feels good with long classic hairbrush bristles with little balls on the tips and thinner, softer bristles further in. It doesn’t feel like it pulls unnecessarily. For its price, I would definitely be happy with it as a purchase. As a Lyko influencer tester, I have had the chance to try the Core Styler 5-in-1 Air Tool from By Lyko for a while now and I’m positively surprised! 🧖♀️ A great product that makes hair styling very simple and easy! An all-in-one product that really does the job and is at the same time light and handy! Wow, I say! What a thing 💁♀️🤩👌 Love that it’s a 5-in-1 product where you get both a hairdryer, paddle brush, round brush, and autowrap (curls for both directions) easy to change the nozzle and style from wet hair to either curly or shaped as you want! ⭐️ Extra plus for the lightness and I think the product is both nice and works excellently 👌 I like when things are easy to use, simple to learn how they work, and give a good result without much effort! I love the hairdryer and autowrap the most, I also like the round brush even though it hasn’t been used as much. The only thing I don’t really use or get to work is the paddle brush. Didn’t quite get it right and still like the others more so it felt a bit overpowering! A super nice product that I will continue to use for a long time to come! The only “negative” I can think of is that the nozzles get quite hot, so if you want to change, for example, the autowrap, you have to wait a bit so they’re not too hot. Very good face cream
I have been looking at and considering testing products from #paulaschoice lately, so when I as a #lykoinflutester now got the chance to test some products, I was very excited. First of all, I think the packaging with the bright pink color was a fresh and nice product to have out. And what for me is the biggest plus is the way you take the product out. You don’t have to put your fingers in or use a separate spatula to get the product from the jar. You just press the lid and then the cream comes up and lays on top. So hygienic! Also a big plus that it doesn’t really smell much. No perfume. When I first tried it, I was a bit skeptical since it seemed quite greasy in consistency. But as soon as I spread it out, it became so light and nice in texture. It absorbs well into the skin.
