I love using sheet masks, and this was probably one of the best I've tested so far, at least in terms of fit. It fits like a dream, and you aren't restricted during use, like not being able to drink or eat, which I really appreciate, as I like to have a mask on for a little longer. My skin isn't sensitive but is often drier this time of year, and this made my skin feel hydrated and well-cared for. I can imagine it being really nice to use during times when the skin can be stressed or in need of hydration. It's just the right amount of wet and leaves no sticky feeling after removal. The price may be high, and it's significantly more expensive than the masks I usually use, but I think it breathes quality. quick makeup
I like to use this makeup for everyday. This foundation from IsaDora has a glossy and natural finish, just how I like it. This bronzer from Lancôme looks very natural. I like to use stick blush and then set it with powder blush. So I used the blush stick from Dior and then Ysl blush 87. It is very pigmented so apply it a little carefully. I like this YSL mascara because it doesn’t smudge under the eyes during the day. Diamond bomb from Fenty Beauty I don’t need to say it’s my favorite, it’s so brilliant. Last but not least, the combo with fuzzy bomb stix I love 100%. I got to test these eyepatches that Lyko influtester, thanks to both Verso and Lyko for that 🤗 I have passed 40 and so has my skin. (most of the time it feels like my skin has passed 40 more than I have 😋). The properties of these eyepatches are described so nicely in the product description, so I won’t repeat everything, but the name itself (retinoate) tells me that this is not something to expect as a ”quick-fix” but is meant to be used regularly. Since I’ve only gotten one pair, I can unfortunately only review based on one use. That said, I think the product is nice! The packaging is pretty (I like Verso’s aesthetic!) and the inner compartment for the pair of patches is tightly sealed, and no product has leaked into the outer packaging. The patches themselves are thicker than those Verso has in their jars and feel more like X-lash in thickness. Silly maybe, but I like it 😍 I also like their design, that they don’t have that ”tip” that always ends up wrong on me. I had mine on for just over 20 minutes. When I took them off, I felt a bit warm on the skin on my cheekbones, so it felt like something had worked on my skin. Do I see any difference before and after? No, I wouldn’t say so (judge for yourself in the video 🙂). Not more than the slight temporary smoothness the skin gets from being covered with silicone and product for 20 minutes normally. For 110:- I had hoped I would at least look a bit more plump right away or that it would give the immediate tightening effect that is promised, but I can’t really see that either. When I, as a #lykoinflutester, found out that I would be testing #cerave's cleanser, I thought it would be a quick and easy task. Because I have been using this cleanser since Cerave's products went viral at the beginning of the pandemic. Cerave was developed by dermatologists and is basically allergy-friendly. But I have still reacted to some of Cerave's products, like the sunscreen. But not this one. I have sensitive skin, and it hasn't gotten better after menopause. I react to most things, and my skin gets red and irritated. My skin has also become very dry. I use Cerave's cleanser every evening. The scent is mild, and the consistency is just right, neither too thick nor too runny. It's easy to pump the right amount out of the bottle, and therefore it lasts a long time. So the product is reasonably priced. I use the large bottles, and they can stand in the shower for months. No water gets in, and the pressure on the bottle doesn't wear out. I've never had any problems with the pump either. I find that I don't need an oil cleanser to remove light everyday makeup. I only need this cleanser. My skin feels clean, and it doesn't cause any itching or burning. And my skin retains moisture. I only use the cleanser in the evening. And in the morning, I rinse my skin with lukewarm water. Of course, there are products on the market that may seem more luxurious for five times the price. A little more perfume and a little prettier packaging. This is absolutely a good mascara that does what it’s supposed to. The lashes get a nice color and volume and stay up all day. However, I find that this, like most others, transfers onto the eyelids and crumbles a bit after a while. That’s something that’s hard to avoid, but the mascara is easy to remove and also feels good to use since it has serum in it. The packaging is also a big plus and looks super nice in the makeup bag. However, the brush is a bit big, but it’s still quite easy to use. I have as #lykoinflutester tested this sheet mask from #verso It is a thick and lovely mask divided into two parts, something I think more companies should follow since the fit becomes much better. There is a lot of serum in the packaging, so it is more than enough for both décolleté and hands as well. On the face, the mask feels pleasant and it is easy to massage in the serum when it is time to take it off. I have sensitive winter skin that tends to flare up, and this mask definitely helped to calm my skin. I definitely feel that I am both hydrated and plumped, so the mask gets full points! I have to start by saying that I am very picky with my mascaras, I only use waterproof because otherwise my lashes just fall after a minute. That's why I was a bit skeptical before trying this, but it was really much better than expected!🌟 I like that the brush is quite hard and shaped after the lashes, it makes it much easier to apply. It would probably be great to combine it with a volumizing mascara at the roots of the lashes, and then this one just at the tips!✨ It's really a mascara for length, so if you're only looking for volume, it's probably better to keep looking. I like when mascaras are a bit "dried" and not completely new, it's always a bit hard to apply at first. Natural Result
This time I had the opportunity to test Wonder’Bond Lash Filler + Hyaluronic Mascara. Since I just had an eyelash extension, my mother-in-law had to step up as a test pilot, big thanks to Lyko for that! 💜 The packaging feels luxurious with its nice color and a practical "click-lock". The brush has a really good shape that makes it easy to reach all lashes, even the smallest ones, without hassle. Result & Consistency The consistency is somewhat runny, but it actually makes application easier and makes the lashes feel hydrated. The result is very natural: it separates the lashes really nicely and doesn’t clump at all. For my mother-in-law, who has naturally short lashes, it gave a nice length and made them look both thicker and fuller. One layer is more than enough to get a good color that lasts long. It may not be the mascara for those looking for extreme volume, but it’s absolutely awesome as an everyday mascara! The only negative was that my mother-in-law felt a stinging in her eyes after a couple of hours. I have been assigned as #lykoinflutester to test this Wonder’Bond Lash Filler + Hyaluronic Mascara in the color 001 Black from #rimmel! 💜 My first impression of this mascara was how nice the packaging is! The packaging has an elegant design with a purple reflective surface. It really feels and looks like a luxury product! 👑💜 This is a perfect mascara for all of you who love to have nice volume on your lashes, because it really gave this mascara! 🤩 The mascara is easy to apply and the result is very pretty! It creates incredible volume and gives a nice curl to the lashes, without looking clumpy or flaky. With this mascara, the lashes get a dramatic and elegant look with a cat-eye effect! 🥰💜 Additionally, the mascara has a very nice black color! 🖤 The only thing I miss with this mascara is that it doesn’t create much length for the lashes, as I personally prefer when mascaras give extra length. I had the chance to test the Wonder’Bond Lash Filler + Hyaluronic Mascara in the color 001 Black, which LYKO influtested ✨ The shape of the brush is nice and does a good job of separating the lashes without clumping 👏🏻 The lashes become longer and nicely defined, even though I don’t feel it gives a ton of volume. The color is also really black, which is always appreciated! The packaging feels quite generic and nothing that stands out particularly. It’s absolutely fine, but doesn’t give a direct luxury feel. What I really like is that the mascara is easy to wash off. It stays well throughout the day but doesn’t require you to scrub the lashes in the evening to get it off. As #lykoinflutester I have tested this mascara from #rebeccastella ✨🥰 To start with, the packaging itself is super cute! I also like the long and slim brush that reaches every lash. Very easy to work with on both upper and lower lashes. It says that the mascara is supposed to moisturize the lashes since it contains hyaluronic acid, which I think it does! It is a bit on the "softer" side in consistency. Therefore, it feels nourishing for the lashes. I also love that it is vegan 🌱 I don't have much negative to say about this. Stable alternative for mascara
For a while now, I’ve been able to try Rimmel’s Wonder’Bonds Lash Filler + Hyaloronic mascara in 001 Black. The mascara is said to be properly black, which I agree with. That it’s also supposed to be caring for the lashes is a big plus. The brush is flexible, and the bristles are not too hard but firm enough to catch and shape the lashes. I usually have trouble with all mascaras smudging around my eyes throughout the day due to the shape of my eyes, but this one actually hasn’t! I’ve tried both setting concealer with powder and not setting the concealer at all, no problems with smudging! However, it states in the mascara’s description that it doesn’t clump, which I don’t completely agree with. It’s quite easy for it to get clumpy, and I haven’t been able to apply a second layer of mascara because then it doesn’t look good. But maybe it’s one of those mascaras that gets better once it dries a bit, but either way, you have to be a little light-handed. Conclusion! Volume? Check! Gentle on the lashes? Check! Stays nice all day without flaking or smudging? Check! Clump-free? Naa.. Worth trying? Full, natural lashes 💕
The mascara really delivers when it comes to volume. The lashes have a full appearance after just one coat and are nicely separated without clumping. The curved brush makes it easy to reach all the lashes and provides good definition from root to tip. The result is intensely black but still relatively natural, making the mascara usable for both everyday and more made-up looks. The formula feels soft and pleasant on the lashes, and you can tell it contains nourishing ingredients. However, I find that the mascara doesn't hold the curl particularly long on my very straight lashes. I need to use an eyelash curler, and even then, the lashes lose their shape after a while. For me, who usually prefers waterproof mascara to hold the curl, this is a downside. At the same time, the non-waterproof formula contributes to a softer and more natural result, which many will surely appreciate. This is a volumizing mascara for you if you want full, separated lashes with a soft and natural expression. This mascara has a rounded brush that is nice in its application. However, I find that it is very easy to go outside the lines, and mascara ends up on the eyelid. I have pretty short lashes, and I think the mascara does a good job of lengthening them. The mascara promises lash thickening, which it delivers, but it quickly becomes too thick in my opinion. My lashes don't have much volume on their own, so that's something I really want in my mascara. Unfortunately, I don't think it gives me much volume. The mascara holds up very well throughout the day, which is a plus! It is also easy to remove with makeup remover. Mascara is the product I have used the most since I started using makeup. So I have had time to test "a few pieces" over the years. It has been a long time since I had one from Max Factor, so it was fun to try it again. ☺️ I was told by a friend that this one is supposed to be really good. However, the test period was a bit short. About 8 days. And I often find that it takes a while to get used to a new mascara. But I have used it daily for the past week, a little over. The brush is easy to handle. And I, who usually don’t like rubber bristle brushes, actually like this one. The application is easy and smooth. But unfortunately… That is so far the only positive. The formula/consistency of the mascara is "incredibly" watery. It hardly feels like it adheres any mascara/product to the lashes. I also find it difficult to build up any noticeably visible result after several layers. So for me, it does not deliver what it promises in results. And I can’t say that the mascara "slides off" when you try to wash it off. 🤔 So I don’t know… Probably, as I mentioned earlier, it is a bit too short of a test period. But as it feels now, I wouldn’t choose this again when it’s time to buy a new mascara. Maybe not for aging skin?
The first impression is positive. The cream is apparently much less greasy than I expected it to be (due to panthenol). The consistency is almost gel-like and can remind you of Elixir's niacatil 4%. But it is just a bit too greasy to use in the morning, so I have been using it as a night cream for about 2 weeks. I am 39 years old and have otherwise nice skin, but I am sensitive to changes and too strong acids/creams. So the fact that I got a few breakouts here and there I see as normal. I get this every time I switch a cream/serum, and it is simply because the skin goes out of balance when you change your routine. Something that stabilizes over time, so that’s fine. And apparently, the cream moisturizes well, but it didn’t really give me anything. At my age, you notice a big difference between really good moisturizing creams and those that just seem to moisturize. Here you get a bit of glow right away, but when I wake up in the morning, I don’t see any good effect. It seems like the cream doesn’t fully absorb but stays on the surface and rather absorbs into the pillow overnight. Pretty okay mascara!
I have, like #lykoinflutester, gotten to test this mascara from #rimmel! To start with, I don’t have very long lashes, so I prefer a mascara that gives as much length as possible. I have another favorite mascara from before, and I’ve had that as my favorite for several years. This mascara was good, absolutely, but it didn’t give me super much length (which I would like to have A LOT of 😉). But I still thought it was nice, and it held up all day without flaking (like many other mascaras can do). The brush was pretty okay, a bit too big and clunky for my taste, but okay nonetheless. As I said, I have a favorite from many years back, and it’s so hard to beat that I rarely test other mascaras. But this one definitely gets a thumbs up! Perfect everyday mascara
As #lykoinflutester, I got to test this mascara from #maxfactor. I had the luxury of heading off on a sunny vacation just when it was time for the product test, so it had to withstand both rain and summer heat at the same time, more thorough testing than that probably won't happen! To start with, I think it was a very nice and sleek packaging for the mascara on the outside. I was also very happy when I opened it because a rubber brush is my favorite applicator for mascara. It gave just the right amount of product, was a good black shade, and felt perfectly “wet” if you understand what I mean. Some mascaras seem to be dried out even before you open them for the first time. I don't have much to cheer for my own lashes, or rather, they are there in terms of quantity, but they are light, short, and don't give any direct oomph! One stroke gave an immediate lift and worked well for everyday use🤩. It was possible to build it up a bit, but it didn't give huge volume. The length, however, was immediately noticeable that it delivered results. As I said, I have had the chance to use it in both rain and sun, and it holds up well without smudging, what I did experience was that it became dry and flaked off in small pieces after a few hours. I assume that has to do with the formula that is supposed to make it easily slide off in fibers when you wash it off. What surprised me, however, was that it could be “scratched” out of the eyes dry, and it flaked off easily, but when I actually wanted to wash it off with just warm water, which is supposed to work, it did exactly like other mascaras and turned gray/black under the eyes, which was hard to remove without any form of cleansing. So instead, I had to rub properly and eventually resort to taking out my cleansing anyway. Summary: - nice design - easy to apply - gives immediate good length - does not settle under the eyes or run off in its entirety. - does not start to run off in the rain. - becomes dry and starts to flake - is not as easy to wash off as it claims - does not give volume if that is what you are looking for in a mascara. Price-wise, definitely worth it, I would say. Neither the most expensive nor the cheapest on the market, and it holds most of what it promises. Even though it’s a bit disappointing that it becomes so dry and flakes off by the afternoon, I prefer that over a formula that just runs off and settles as streaks or larger color spots under the eyes.
