Refreshing and cozy
I have been using Xlash Longevity Multi-Zone Gels for a while now and actually find them really comfortable to use. I have kept them in the fridge, which makes them feel extra refreshing when I put them under my eyes. It has been a lovely little moment for myself, especially in the morning when I’ve been tired or a bit puffy🫶🏼 I feel like my skin is hydrated right after use and I really like the feeling they give. However, I haven’t seen much difference in my fine lines, which was what I mainly hoped for. I’ve also noticed that I got a few small pimples and that my skin under the eyes became a bit dry after using them. Therefore, I think they might not suit me as I have a bit more sensitive skin. Despite that, I think it’s a cozy product to use and the cooling effect from the fridge makes them extra lovely. A way to complicate things
I'm not completely inexperienced when it comes to patches – I've used both full masks and spot patches before. But I still had to start this experience from #xlash by figuring out which patches should go where. The first two were easy enough, but the third, shaped like a licorice boat, took a bit more thought. I concluded that it's for the folds by the mouth (something I, for anatomical reasons, don't really have... at least I've never thought I did). About my skin: I'm 40+ and have soft, thin, and sensitive skin. The packaging it arrived in is quite large and beautifully purple. Under the lid is an extra protective cover with a spoon you can use to pick up the patches for hygienic reasons. The patches are fragrance-free and, in my opinion, made of a nice material, a bit checkered in texture, and I like how they stick well (without sliding), without being too dry. What I don't like, however, is that they fit the face poorly. If I put one on my forehead so it covers the "anger lines" well, I have to smear my eyebrows. I don't like that, so I have to place it a bit higher. And regarding the ones under the eyes, I get the feeling they don't sit exactly as I want them to, so they cover both the wrinkles at the sides of the eyes and the ones underneath. Maybe these are made for a different kind of face, with slightly different proportions. It seems reasonable that not everyone has the same measurements. But personally, I don't feel like they sit right on my face no matter how much I try to adjust them. Personally, I would have preferred to have only under-eye patches and then patches of a more neutral shape that you could place wherever you think they fit. 👄 The result then? They moisturize, and there is a difference. But the result is not better than my usual skincare. I also think they leave an uncomfortable sticky feeling afterward that stays on the skin. The luxury feeling is missing because, for me, they have such a poor fit. I have had the honor as #lykoinflutester to test the #xlash hydrogel innovation patches for a couple of weeks. 👩🏼 me testing: 29 years old with a very sensitive skin type. Haven't really gotten wrinkles/fine lines yet. Not bothered by dark circles under the eyes. ⭐️ the product: Developed to support the skin's long-term strength, smooth out fine lines, and strengthen the skin. Comes in a total of three different shapes to apply under the eyes, crow's feet, forehead, and nasolabial folds. Spatula included. Fragrance-free. 90 patches/jar. 🖊️ opinion: I love eye patches in all their forms and have had a hard time finding a product that suits my skin type. This one fits nicely for my sensitive skin in all areas. The patch sits well on the skin and doesn't slide around. After about 15 minutes, you can feel the skin really drawing in the liquid and doing a good job. An extra tip now that it's warm is to store them in the fridge for an extra nice feeling. The product has been tested for too short a time to give an honest answer on how it works long-term in/on the skin. I also have no visible fine lines/wrinkles and can't really answer how it has worked on this in the short time. I give the product 4/5 stars; I would have given full marks if the price were a bit lower and if I had been able to test the product for a longer time. Really like it!
My opinion after trying Xlash multi-zone gel patches: I have acne-prone skin with fine lines on my forehead, around my nose, mouth, and under my eyes. This product is supposed to help smooth out fine lines, strengthen the skin barrier, and make the skin firmer. I find these patches very convenient to use and wear on the face. They have a lot of serum on them, which is good, but often similar patches can slide around on the face, which can be a bit annoying. But I didn’t experience that at all with these. They stayed where I put them the entire time on my face. I really like that, so you can multitask a bit. So while taking care of your skin, you can also do what you need to do at the same time. They feel comfortable on the face, the skin feels plumper afterward and more hydrated. I haven’t tested this product for more than about 2 weeks, so I haven’t seen any direct differences in the lines on my face yet. But I definitely like it, and as I said, the skin feels plumper and more hydrated afterward. Luxurious, intense, and feminine!
Wow, what an incredible perfume this is ✨ This is my first perfume from Carolina Herrera, and even though I’ve obviously seen these beautiful perfumes half my life, I’ve never even smelled one before, talk about missing out! The scent is just as the title says – luxurious, feminine, and intense! It’s truly a fragrance that leaves a mark and many have reacted to it, saying you smell so incredibly good! I, who usually prefer either “darker” scents in the evening, lighter and fresher (like Clean) during the day, or generally vanilla notes in perfumes and maybe don’t always reach for the floral, was still completely sold on this one! It has such a balance that it’s fresh, powerful, and a little bit sweet with the vanilla, and it has simply become a clear favorite!! What you should keep in mind is that it’s incredibly intense, one spray goes a long way, and the scent really stays in your clothes even the next day! In other words, it will last forever 👏🏼 The bottle is so beautiful, maybe not the most travel-friendly perfume, but it’s so beautiful on the perfume shelf that it gets to stay at home! I have had the opportunity to test this product from #xlash in assignments as #lykoinflutester. ✨ I like that this kit contains patches for several parts of the face and not just for the area under the eyes. The size of the patches is also good and they cover the intended areas well. They also stay in place without sliding around and provide a nice, cooling sensation when used. Unfortunately, I have not yet noticed any major long-term effect, even though I have used them almost daily for about two weeks. They feel refreshing and pleasant, but in terms of results, I am not completely convinced yet. So nice to have a jar of eye patches in the fridge that you can take out in the morning! Xlash is a brand I am very familiar with and have been using their products for years, both serums and under-eye masks. The under-eye masks are one of my favorite everyday luxuries, a way I like to pamper myself amidst a busy day. I keep the masks in the fridge to get the most benefit from them and to maximize the de-puffing effect for morning eye bags. Makeup applies more beautifully with these, and the product is a “quick beautifier.” As something new, I liked that these are not in the traditional gel pad shape and probably fit better on more faces. Sometimes gel pads tend to move and slide on the face, especially if they are made of thicker material. That problem doesn’t exist with these. There’s also plenty of liquid in the jar, and the pads are genuinely pleasant and moisturizing on the skin. I like the product in every way. Easy and good to use. It wakes up the eyes and quickly beautifies the face overall, great under makeup, and plus for versatility, meaning it’s not just meant for under the eyes. Helps with fine dryness lines by moisturizing. Lovely and intense scent 🌸
I got to try this perfume from #carolinaherrera as a #lykoinflutester. It was so fun to try this perfume, especially since it’s on the pricier side and not something I would normally buy myself. With notes of citrus and vanilla, you can smell it from far away. The scent is intense and a bit strong from a distance. This can of course be experienced both positively and negatively. I found it positive since I like a slightly more intense scent. When I compared this to another perfume, I noticed that this one lasted longer. At first, I was a bit hesitant about the bottle design, it gave me a bit of a “teenage vibe” and personally, I’m not a big fan of pink. But after a while, I softened towards the design and now I think it’s kind of stylish. I like the way the perfume sprays. I really like these gel patches! They feel so nice to apply and give a pleasant cooling sensation right away. I actually like to put them in the fridge before use, and then they feel even better. I also like that they come in several different shapes. That way you can choose which areas you want to focus on. I usually use the patches under my eyes, but it’s convenient that there are options for other parts of the face as well. All shapes can be used under the eyes. Good scent
Through #lykoinflutester I got to try this perfume from #carolinaherrera. The scent that comes forward is, in my opinion, floral and vanilla. 1. Love the bottle, I think it’s elegant and nice to have as decoration. However, not super practical to carry with you. 2. Taste is like the backside, but I like the scent. It’s feminine, fresh, and I feel like I get more presence with this scent – make sense? Possibly a liiiiittle too sweet for me. 3. Okay, but not fantastic
I got to try these patches from #xlash as #lykoinflutester. I have quite sensitive skin that easily gets pimples, spots, whiteheads, and similar. I’m almost 41 years old, but my skin doesn’t show many signs of aging yet. However, I do get dry wrinkles around my eyes and have quite thin skin there. I’ve been testing these patches for about 3 weeks now, about 3 times a week. There are patches for eyes, forehead, and the "nose fold" or whatever you want to call it. 😅 Positives: 😍 They really stick firmly to the face and barely move. 😍 They have plenty of serum that absorbs well and feels nice and cool if you keep them in the fridge. 😍 They help short-term with dry wrinkles, which I like! 😍 I appreciate that there are several different shapes for other parts of the face besides the eyes. Not so positive: 😐 I don’t see any long-term improvement but maybe you need to use them longer to see that? 😐 I got pimples from them the first 3-4 times 😐 The result is about the same as all moisturizing products, so the price doesn’t feel quite reasonable. Maybe works better after more uses
I am 36 years old and have some early signs of aging. In the summer, my skin is normal but tends to sweat easily. I have tried this product several times. On one occasion, I tested the product after showering, and the "masks" tended to slide off. On other occasions, it slides a bit on the forehead at first. I think the product has a lot of serum at the beginning that quickly absorbs into the skin. The Perfect Scent
I have been able to test the scent for several weeks and I have to admit that I love it 🤭🩷 I have had several different Carolina Herrera perfumes and will continue to have them because they are just so good! I like that they are not too strong but still smell really long on the skin 🌸 The perfume bottle itself is beautiful to look at, I love the high heel shape and especially the pink and gold color combination 💕 Vanilla and floral scents are my favorites and I especially like that this combines both! I’m a real user of eye patches – almost every morning I treat myself to a pair. Especially since I became a parent and want to feel like my face looks fresh and awake, even after a tough night! I've especially liked this product under makeup. It moisturizes the skin, makes the surface elastic, and helps the makeup spread evenly. The makeup feels like it stays well all day. However, without foundation, I don't find the product particularly necessary on its own. Even though the formula has good moisturizing ingredients, I want the skin to also just breathe sometimes. That's why I only use it if I'm also doing makeup. And the scent is a solid 10/10. Nice and good concept but weak results
The unique thing about this product is that it contains patches for several parts of the face. Between the eyebrows, under/around the eye, and the lines from the side of the mouth up towards the nose. The jar is therefore a bit bigger than most others but fits nicely among the other eye patch jars in the fridge. I also think the jar is super nice with its purple color and suitably discreet text. All patches are together, 30 of each shape, in neat piles in the jar. The material is a bit bumpy/textured and at first I wondered if that meant it should face outwards or inwards but it turned out both sides are the same. It's nice to have patches on more places than just around the eyes (the size of those around the eyes is AMAZING by the way! No one should have smaller patches than that 🤩) but for me, who has quite a lot of facial expressions and "life" in the lines at the side of the mouth, I can feel a bit limited by the patches that are supposed to cover them if I don't just lie there and kind of close my eyes. X-lash promises: the product should "support the skin's long-term strength, visibly smooth fine lines and strengthen the skin both today and tomorrow." Result: I have tested this product for three weeks, a little more often than every other day, and that is too short to see long-term results. X-lash has not specified how often they should be used to see results. My opinion: It is, as always, nice with the cooling effect from when the patch has been in the fridge, but beyond that and the general, temporarily slightly smoothing effect you get from having a patch with some liquid against the skin for half an hour, I don't notice any lasting result from these and honestly not enough short-term effect to think it's worth the money. Carolina Herrera’s new perfume La Bomba is without a doubt one of the most unique perfumes I own. It’s floral with a fruity twist where I can sense notes of cherry and vanilla, but without either taking over. Everything melts together in a very luxurious way! The scent lasts super long and really stays on the skin, clothes, and in the hair. The bottle with the beautiful butterfly is incredibly pretty and has become part of the decor here at home. Besides already receiving a ton of compliments for this scent, it has also become my boyfriend’s new absolute favorite perfume on me, which says a lot! Had the honor to try this perfume & here is my opinion: I already had a hard time deciding which perfume(s) I would like, it’s hard when you can’t smell them, so I went by feeling & its top notes. First impression: Very nice packaging on the perfume. A bit unusual for me as I’m very basic in everything I own, so a butterfly perfume feels a bit extra cool🫣 Was a bit skeptical at first because I didn’t like it, it was too strong & too much for me. When I let it sit on my skin for maybe 30 minutes, it became much softer & rounder, then I started to like it more. Also got compliments at work that people thought it was such a lovely scent spreading when they came close to me, positive 😊 It smells very sweet to me but not so much that it becomes cloying. Very grown-up scent I’d say in combination with the sweet (vanilla). I still have a bit of a hard time with it right after application as it becomes very strong but then when it settles for a while it becomes amazing. Exciting and new scent for me
I have been testing Good Girl Blush Eau de Parfum for a few weeks now. I already knew what I thought about it after a couple of days of use. I tend to get headaches from strong perfumes, so when I first sprayed this perfume, I thought I was going to react. Xlash Multi-zone Gels
I got to test the Xlash Multi-Zone gel masks, and now that I've had some time to use them, I can share my honest opinion. 😊 Xlash is a brand I'm already familiar with, but these gel masks were completely new to me. So I was excited to try them out. I've only used eye masks before, so I liked the idea that the same jar contains gel masks for several different areas of the face. It makes the product versatile. Unfortunately, these didn't convince me. I didn't notice any visible difference in my skin during use. Of course, it's possible that the product needs to be used longer for the results to show better. I also feel that the price is quite high relative to how many gel masks are in the jar. I will continue to stick to eye masks myself, as they suit my needs better. Spot on color!
I had the chance to test the Sky High mascara in the color True Brown as #lykoinflutester! The Sky High waterproof mascara is definitely my favorite and the only one I use and compare with. Still, I was very curious when the original came out in the color True Brown!🤎 I have very light features and low contrast, and I imagined that the brown color could give a softer look and be a bit less harsh. The color is spot on!🤎 As expected, I found that the brown color made the eyes look a bit softer and suited me better than the black does. Unfortunately, it can’t compare to how the waterproof version holds the lashes up. When I use an eyelash curler + Sky High, the lashes hold the curl and stand straight up! With this one, however, I could see the lashes drooping and standing straight forward, despite the curler. It almost looked like I barely had any mascara on at all.
