Fantastic scent!
I have had the honor of testing this perfume for a few weeks now and am positively surprised!🩷 My absolute favorite perfume is Armani's Si, which I think is just perfect. I was initially a bit skeptical about Good Girl Blush because I have a hard time when perfumes become too vanilla-like. But when I used the perfume for the first time, I actually didn’t notice the vanilla at all. I rather think you can smell the peony notes much more, which I love. It’s very hard to describe scents to others, but I would say this one is lively, sweet/“tart” and fresh. I would also describe it as youthful, in a positive sense. As mentioned before, I love the scent of peony, which I think you can really smell in this perfume. The Brow Glue Crazy Lift Lamination Gel 01 Transparent
I had pretty high expectations for this one since it promises a laminated brow look with up to 24 hours of hold, without feeling stiff or leaving white flakes. It also has a built-in styling comb that makes it easy to lift and shape every little brow hair. My experience? It was okay – but nothing "wow." My brows definitely looked more lifted and a bit more groomed, but I didn’t get that really sharp lamination effect I was hoping for. It held the brows in place pretty well throughout the day and didn’t feel crispy or hard, which is a big plus. However, I didn’t feel that extra "wow" factor that makes you want to run out and buy a new one right away. For me, it’s a product that does the job, but not much more. It’s easy to use and works well if you want a naturally lifted look, but if you’re after extremely fluffy, salon-laminated brows, it might not quite live up to the hype. “Invisible” pimple patches
As a #lykoinflutester, I tested #hero Mighty Patch – Invisible+ and was really curious if the thinner design would actually make the patch less visible during the day. The first thing I noticed was that the patches are indeed thinner than the original version, which feels nice when they’re on the skin. However, I didn’t notice any significant difference in how invisible they were. On my skin, they were about as visible as the original patches, so that part didn’t quite live up to my expectations. Just like the Original version, the patches stick well, are easy to apply, and help protect the pimple from being picked at while doing their job. It’s a product I think works well and feels convenient to use. What lowers the rating a bit, just like with the Original, is the price. I think the product is good, but there are several equivalent alternatives on the market that cost significantly less. Therefore, it’s hard to justify buying these again, even though I think they work as they should. Pimple patches that do the job
I have tried #hero Mighty Patch – The Original as #lykoinflutester and this product gave a significantly better impression than the brand’s Nose Patch! 🫶 The patches are easy to apply, stay well overnight, and feel comfortable to wear. I find that they help protect the pimple from being picked at while also helping to draw out impurities, which is always a big plus. ✨ The packaging itself says “the nighttime pimple patch” but it works perfectly fine during the day as well, even though the patch itself is visible. The product also comes as Invisible+ and is marketed as “the daytime pimple patch” because it’s supposed to be less visible, but honestly, I don’t notice a huge difference except that the original is a little bit thicker in the patch itself. The only thing I really wished for is that the packaging contained patches in several different sizes instead of all 24 being the same size. Pimples rarely look the same, so that would make the product even more useful. 💭 The biggest downside for me, however, is the price. Nose patch
I had the opportunity to test #hero Nose Patch as #lykoinflutester, and even though I really had high expectations, unfortunately it wasn’t quite a perfect hit for me. What I found most difficult was the application itself. The protective plastic sticks very firmly, which made the patch often come off when I tried to remove it. This made the application feel a bit tricky and not entirely optimal from a hygiene perspective since you have to pull on it. Once the patch was in place, I also felt that it didn’t stick very well to my nose. It felt a bit uncomfortable and started to come off quite easily during use, which meant I didn’t get that “forget it’s there” feeling I had hoped for, but hopefully it suits someone else better! I also didn’t feel that the product did what it’s supposed to, as I didn’t see much result on the patch itself (it didn’t turn white or show pores that were “stuck” on the patch). + points for having instructions on the packaging though! Everyone has different skin and nose shapes, so this is of course just my personal experience, but for me it wasn’t a great experience. ~Self-Care in a Jar~
It’s been a long time since I got a task as a #lykoinflutester, so I was really happy when I saw I had an incoming package. And the fact that it was from Swedish Xlash made me really excited, as I’ve never tried anything from them before. The product I was going to test is their multizone hydragel patches. I’m a beauty nerd through and through, but for some reason, I’ve never tried patches before! No under-eye patches or anything actually! So in a way, I’m not the best test person because I have nothing to compare with, but you’ll get my experience of the product anyway of course 😊 These patches are designed for different zones on the face (under the eyes, forehead, crow’s feet, and nasolabial folds) and come in three different shapes to fit the different zones. They contain lots of exciting ingredients, like ginseng PDRN and apple exosomes, and are supposed to work to build up the skin’s collagen bank and plump the skin. I’ve used these under the eyes, on the forehead, and on the nasolabial folds a couple of times a week. I’ve applied them in the evening on top of my skincare routine or in the morning before I do it. Of course, you don’t wash your face after using these. I think they feel moisturizing and nice. A little everyday luxury like that! One important thing is that I think they stick really well in place, so you can walk around with them on, which makes it easier. They literally drip with serum, and we like that! The jar they come in is nice, feels exclusive, and looks good in the bathroom cabinet. It also comes with a small spatula/spoon made of transparent plastic that you’re supposed to pick up the patches with (<- ?). This works so-so because they’re very slippery; I would have preferred a small plastic tweezer? All in all, I like these; it’s a bit of lovely self-care in a jar. Effect-wise, I’m a bit doubtful though; I don’t really feel it’s a miracle product, but I didn’t expect that either. The skin feels a little lightly plumped afterward maybe; it’s hard to see any direct difference, I think. Unfortunately, the price is on the high side for what I would consider paying for a product like this because I don’t think self-care should have to hurt SO much in the wallet. Just not my type of perfume
Carolina Herrera Good Girl Blush is described as a feminine, romantic, and elegant perfume with a blend of fresh citrus notes, floral heart notes, and a base of warm vanilla (which I LOVE) and tonka bean. The scent notes consist of bergamot and mandarin at the top, peony and ylang-ylang in the heart, and vanilla and tonka bean in the base. I actually had quite high expectations for this one because I usually love warm, sensual, and vanilla fragrances. That’s why I really thought it would suit me. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite turn out that way. On my skin, it leans more towards a classic, slightly “older lady” style than I personally like. That absolutely doesn’t mean it smells bad, it just didn’t suit me and my taste. It’s popular and I’ve really only heard good things about it before, but perfume is one of those things that can smell different on everyone. However, I do think the longevity is really good. It lasts a long time both on the skin and on clothes, which I really appreciate. I also understand why many people like it, but for me, it didn’t become a favorite. I wished the vanilla took up a bit more space and that the scent felt a little warmer and softer. I have tried this both in the shower and outside the shower as a leave-in, on different occasions. Overall, I think the product moisturizes my dry hair very well, no matter how I used it. I prefer to use this as a hair mask in the shower and rinse it off. Maybe more of a personal preference. When I use this as a leave-in, I obviously feel it more in my hair, and then I prefer oil. I can imagine it being good to use as a leave-in in winter when the air is drier. I can be quite picky about conditioner. Especially because sometimes I feel like they don’t do much, like when the hair still feels rough after use. But I think this one softened the hair well after cleansing. I also don’t think it was too heavy for my hair, like weighing it down so it gets greasy right away. So a good conditioner but maybe nothing outstanding compared to others on the market. Another plus is the packaging, I love that it’s a pump bottle! It makes it so much easier. I used this together with the matching shampoo and hair mask and would definitely recommend Lumene’s hydra series. Alriiight the scent! Love love love, sooo fresh! I have psoriasis and unfortunately a lot on my scalp. So it’s obviously sensitive to shampoos, but this one actually worked so well. It didn’t itch more than usual, which made me sooo happy. Otherwise, I’m pretty scared to try new shampoos, so I was extra happy that this one worked so well. I think the product is concentrated, which means you don’t need to use as much product, which also makes it very cost-effective. I also think the hair stayed nice afterwards, it didn’t get greasy the next day. The accompanying conditioner bottle has a pump, I wish the shampoo bottle also had a pump. Nice change from black mascara
I got to test the Sky High mascara, and the color selection was so wide that it was hard to choose between the traditional black and the other shades. I decided to try the color burgundy haze because I thought it would suit brown-green eyes. I really like the color – you need to apply a few coats, and I wish the lashes would stay lifted a bit more. Also, the brush handle could be a bit sturdier; maybe I’m not used to such “flexible” brush handles. As a #LYKOINFLUTESTER, I got to try this shampoo from #LUMENE. The shampoo contains birch sap and hyaluronic acid, which according to the product description should provide hydration. For me, it cleaned the hair thoroughly and left a fresh feeling after washing. It’s easy to work into the hair and has a clean and pleasant scent that I appreciate. However, I didn’t notice any major moisturizing effect or any clear improvement in hair quality. Despite the nourishing ingredients, I didn’t feel that the hair became softer, shinier, or more manageable than when I use a regular everyday shampoo. I wish the star ingredient, birch sap, had a bit more presence. My hair felt clean, but that was also the biggest difference I noticed. For those who primarily want a shampoo that cleans effectively and has a fresh scent, I think this could be a good option. The scent is subtle, not overwhelming at all, so it might be good for those who are a bit sensitive to fragrances. As a #LYKOINFLUTESTER, I had the chance to test this product from #LUMENE. I had quite high expectations for this hair mask because it is described as an intensely moisturizing 2-in-1 product that should provide moisture from roots to ends and leave the hair soft, hydrated, and with a light feel. So the product is supposed to be both a leave-in cream and a hair mask at the same time, but I'm not quite sure if I buy the concept? I prefer products that are tailored for one or the other. Unfortunately, it didn't quite live up to those expectations on my hair. I tested it both as a classic hair mask with a few minutes of processing time and as a leave-in, but didn't notice much difference compared to my usual conditioner. The hair did become a bit softer right after use and it didn't weigh it down, but I didn't experience the intense hydration or the long-lasting effect that the product description promises. However, I think it's easy to apply and has a fresh, pleasant scent. An elegant musk scent with more floral notes than I prefer
Crystal Emerald was a positive surprise. It opens fresh but quickly develops into a soft and clean scent with a lot of white musk. Musk scents are exactly what I usually gravitate towards, so I had high expectations for this one. The scent feels feminine and sophisticated, with a nice balance between freshness, warmth, and a light sweetness. At the same time, the rose and jasmine become a bit more prominent than I personally prefer. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but it lacks the “Clean skin” feeling I get from my favorites. The longevity, however, is very good. It lasts a long time on my skin and doesn’t need many sprays before it’s clearly noticeable. The bottle also deserves praise – it feels heavy, exclusive, and looks incredibly beautiful, just like all Versace perfumes. This is definitely a good perfume, but it probably won’t become a new favorite of mine. My favorites are This Is Her!, Fleur de Peau, and Dylan Purple (also from Versace), and compared to them, Crystal Emerald has a more pronounced floral character. If you like musk combined with elegant floral notes, I think this one could be just right. A fresh and elegant everyday perfume with impressive longevity
This one pleasantly surprised me. I think it smells very fresh and clean, while also having enough depth so it doesn’t become boring or “soapy.” It feels feminine, sophisticated, and easy to use for both everyday and slightly more formal occasions. The longevity is also very good. On my combination skin, one spray lasts more than long enough, and the scent stays on the skin for many hours, if not until the next day, also on clothes. Therefore, I actually think the price is quite fair – it’s economical to use and will last a long time. I actually wouldn’t spray more than once, as it quickly becomes too heavy and intense, especially if you’re around others (bus, plane, and similar). That said, this is not a personal favorite. I generally don’t like very floral scents, and this one has more floral notes than I usually go for. My everyday favorites include This Is Her!, Dylan Purple, and Fleur de Peau, which are also clean and light but with a less pronounced floral expression. If you usually like floral scents, you will probably like this one. The bottle also deserves praise. It’s heavy and feels exclusive, yet it’s incredibly beautiful – one of the nicest perfumes out there, if you ask me. It can nicely stand on the bathroom shelf and doesn’t need to be hidden in a cabinet 🌟 All in all, a lovely perfume that I can definitely recommend, especially if you like fresh, clean scents with a floral touch and good longevity. Beautiful bottle, scent lasts long
BEAUTIFUL bottle! I love pink, and the overall look of this perfume is wonderfully feminine... or perfectly girly pop 🤌✨ At first sniff, I wasn’t immediately convinced, but it took some time to grow on me. When the top notes fade, the scent softens and the lovely vanilla really comes through! On the first use, once the scent had settled, it reminded me a bit of Valentino Donna Born in Roma. Now, however, I feel it fits more in the same category as Armani’s newer Power of You fragrance. Both have fruitiness and vanilla, but this one is a bit muskier, and the fruitiness isn’t as prominent. Also, the perfume has a slightly cherry nuance (at least at the beginning). My friend fell in love with the scent on me and described it as youthful (but not childish)... I totally agree! So overall, a really good and long-lasting perfume on the skin that I will definitely use. Mighty Patch Original definitely does its job and pulls out impurities well overnight! In the video, you can see how I wash my face before bed and put on a patch as the very last step in my evening routine – super convenient and nice to wake up to a better result. They work great as protection against picking, but for my personal taste, the Original version is a bit less flexible than Invisible+. That’s why I prefer Invisible+ during the day and use Original rather at night. Xlash Longevity Multi-Zone Gels 100 g
My partner and I tried these gel patches together, and it actually became a really cozy and relaxing part of our evening routine. I stored them in the fridge before use, which gave a fantastic cooling and refreshing feeling right when they were applied to the skin. They felt very moisturizing and the skin became soft and pleasant afterward. What impressed me the most was that they contain patches for several different parts of the face. This made the treatment feel more complete and luxurious than regular eye patches. They sat comfortably on the skin without causing irritation. My partner has very sensitive skin and usually is careful with skincare, but even he found them gentle and pleasant to use. Neither of us experienced any irritation, just a soft, moisturized, and fresh feeling afterward. Airy-Light Invisible Sun Stick
I’ve been so lucky to test Cosrx’s Airy-Light Invisible Sun Stick ☀️🩵 As a big fan of K-beauty and Cosrx, I naturally had high expectations for this. Sunscreen is an absolute must in my skincare routine, no matter the weather. The packaging is just so cute and practical!
