Pretty okay, strong scent
I actually didn’t know this was heat-protective before I was about to write the review 🙈 So I’ve obviously been using a bit of a double dose of products, this one + heat protectant on top again.. I think that should be clearer on the bottle, preferably with bigger text 🙉 For me, heat protection is a big plus, and it’s definitely something I would notice if it was more highlighted. When it comes to the actual effect, I think this is pretty okay. It calms frizz a bit and adds some moisture, but I miss more. My hair tends to get dry and frizzy when the weather changes, and now that autumn is approaching, I need something that adds significantly more moisture than this. What I really can’t get past is the scent. It’s very strongly perfumed and reminds me again of cheap at-home hair dye. It’s not exactly a scent I associate with a product that’s supposed to care for and protect hair. I like hair products to smell good, but this one is just too intense for my taste. It’s definitely not useless, but I had hoped for a bit more. The series promises a lot, and so far I don’t think the products quite deliver on all the promises. At the same time, this is a product where I think the price makes the expectations a bit more moderate. A big plus is definitely that it’s heat-protective. I will therefore continue to test it further – this time without adding an extra heat protectant on top 😅 – to see if it grows on me over time. Shine, where are you?
Shine? Not added to my hair, at least. I think it got lost along the way … I expected significantly more from a hair mask, especially when it promises intensive moisture, improved softness, and more shine. So far, unfortunately, I haven’t really seen much of any of these effects. My hair feels dry, and I almost feel it’s drier after I started using this. I miss the soft, moist feeling I expect after a hair mask. When I use a mask, I usually expect my hair to feel extra cared for and good afterwards – I don’t experience that with this one… What I actually notice an effect on is frizz. It seems to calm some of the small hairs and make the hair a bit more controlled, but beyond that, I find the effect quite limited. However, I do like the texture. It’s thick and creamy and feels more like the texture I expect from a hair mask. That’s why I will continue to test it for a while before giving my final verdict. Maybe it needs a bit more time or more treatments before the effect shows. Unfortunately, the scent also detracts. I absolutely like conditioners and hair masks to smell good, but this one is way too intense and perfumed for my taste. The scent feels almost overwhelming and lingers in the hair for a long time. All in all, I think the product promises a lot, but so far it delivers very little. I hope it can surprise me after longer use, because I really like the texture. Little effect
I had high expectations for this conditioner, as the main focus and promise is good moisture for the hair. Unfortunately, I don't feel it delivers particularly well on this. Together with the shampoo, I notice somewhat less frizz, especially on the small baby hairs that easily stick up after blow-drying. Beyond this, however, I find the effect quite small. My hair feels dry, and I don't experience that this conditioner provides the moisture or softness I expect from a conditioner. The consistency also feels a bit too "thin" for my taste. It is admittedly more economical to use than the shampoo, but I still feel I have to use quite a bit of product to notice any significant effect – and even then, I find the result quite limited. The scent is also a big minus here. It is very intense and reminds me of a cheap hair dye. The scent lingers in the hair and simply feels too strong over time. For me, this detracts a lot, especially when the product is marketed as something you can use daily. All in all, I don't think the conditioner does much for my dry hair. It gives some help against frizz, but I miss both moisture, softness, and a clearer nourishing effect. When both the shampoo and conditioner have such an intense scent, the overall impression unfortunately isn't very positive. Disappointing..
I had quite high expectations for this shampoo, especially considering the promises of increased shine, softer and healthier hair, less frizz, and color preservation. Unfortunately, I find that it does not deliver on most of these points. The only thing I actually notice a slight difference in is frizz. I have quite a bit of baby hair that easily sticks up, especially after blow-drying, and the shampoo can somewhat help to tame this. Still, the effect is quite small.. Otherwise, I don’t think it does anything particularly positive for my hair. I don’t notice any noticeable increase in shine, softness, or healthier hair, and I also don’t think my hair stays clean for very long. At times, it actually feels like my scalp gets oily faster than usual. The shampoo is also very little economical in use. I have to use about twice as much as with other shampoos I’ve tested to get a proper lather, which means it runs out quickly. The scent is unfortunately a big minus for me. It’s very intense and reminds me of the smell of a cheap hair dye. At first, it might seem okay, but over time it simply becomes too much. The strong perfume scent can also be somewhat irritating to the scalp. All in all, I don’t think this series does much good for my hair. First of all, I just have to mention how cute this bottle is! It’s small and neat, takes up minimal space, and is perfect to have in your bag for a little refreshment during the day 🌿 The first bottle I received had a defective spray function, but after getting a new one, I haven’t experienced any problems. So I’m hoping it was just a one-time thing And then the scent! It smells absolutely amazing. I got a real summer vibe as soon as I tried it. The scent is sweet and nice without being too heavy or overwhelming, which makes it perfect for everyday use. It gives just the right amount of fragrance so you feel fresh without it taking over the whole room. I’m looking forward to trying more scents from this series, but I have a strong suspicion that Caramelt Mami will remain my favorite. I actually don’t have much to compare this to, since I neither use nor have tested many body oils before.. The first thing I noticed was how much glitter it contains. Personally, it was a bit too much for my taste. I almost felt like a character from Twilight 🧛♀️🤣 If you love lots of shimmer and glow, it’s probably perfect, but for me, it was a bit too much glitter… The oil itself feels nice on the skin, and it definitely gives a good shine. The problem is that the glitter and product easily transfer to hands, clothes, and other things you touch. That makes me a bit stressed about using it daily. I can really only see myself using this for special occasions in the summer, like festivals, beach clubs in the south, or other summer events where you want extra glow… 🏝️🪩 Normally, I just don’t feel comfortable walking around sparkling that much. For me, this was more of a “miss” than a favorite. Silky soft
I just have to say that this is one of the most delightful body butters I’ve tried! The texture is incredibly soft and pleasant, and it also smells amazing! It absorbs surprisingly quickly into the skin. I hate the feeling of sticky creams, but you don’t get that at all here. The skin feels soft, smooth, and well moisturized afterwards🌺 What lets it down for me is how little you get out of it. I’ve used it for just under three weeks, and not even every day, but it’s already almost empty. That’s why I think it gets a bit expensive in the long run, especially since NYX isn’t exactly a luxury brand. I might as well buy a big cream from Nivea, which I’m also very happy with, and which lasts much longer... Still, I’ll probably buy this again for the summer months. The light feeling and quick absorption are perfect when you wear less clothes and want to avoid feeling sticky + super scent. Finally found the perfect concealer
I actually think I’ve found the perfect concealer! I’ve been searching for a long time for one that looks natural, lasts well throughout the day, and doesn’t cost a fortune – and then I found this one. The texture is exactly how I like it. It’s thin and light, but not so thin that it disappears. It provides great coverage without looking heavy or cakey, so the result is very natural. The color match was also surprisingly good for me. I can be quite dry under my eyes sometimes, and many concealers tend to settle into lines or highlight dry areas. This one doesn’t do that. In fact, it doesn’t crease at all on me. Even after long and hectic days working in a kindergarten, out in all kinds of weather, it still looks just as nice when I get home. Plus points for the cute and simple packaging, good tube, and an applicator that makes it easy to get just the right amount of product. And the fact that it’s so affordable makes it almost too good to be true. The perfect sunscreen
I actually think this is the best sunscreen I’ve tried so far. I have quite combination skin – dry in some areas, oily in the T-zone, and otherwise pretty normal, but I also get some small pimples on my chin occasionally. That’s why I’m quite careful about what I use on my face. What I like best about this one is that it feels more like a good moisturizer than a typical sunscreen. It’s easy to spread, has a pleasant texture, and absorbs quickly into the skin without feeling greasy or heavy. It also works great under makeup. I’ve used it both alone and under different types of makeup, and haven’t experienced it rolling or causing makeup to apply poorly. The skin just feels soft, hydrated, and well protected.
