Gives a cool tone
I tested this conditioner - the product along with the shampoo has proven to be a good combo! My bleached hair has had a warm tone, but now I got a cool tone in there. You could maybe section the hair a bit when applying the product, but I liked that I got some life in different shades. An surprisingly good shampoo that gives a lot of results. I am naturally warm in my hair and usually struggle with silver products to achieve a cool result, but here I got it with the first wash! You should probably be careful if you have very bleached / white hair as it can easily turn over and become gray. The scent is fresh and subtly floral, which makes me happy since some silver shampoos smell very strong and masculine. Smells like a dream!
Woho! I love testing heat protectants! Hair always benefits from heat protection, and when I read that this contains argan oil and ingredients that both protect and add shine - this has to be good 🙌🏼 I also love that it specifies that this doesn’t leave hair feeling brittle or stiff, because that’s not what I want after curling/straightening my hair anyway. The first thing that strikes me is a lovely scent 🌸 It smells fresh and light, while also very clean. I really, really like it! It has a slightly thicker consistency than other heat protectants I’ve used, which have been more like water, while this one has a bit more consistency probably due to the oil it contains. ✨ My best tip: A little goes a long way! Start with a little and comb it through so the product distributes, otherwise you’ll quickly get too much in one spot. The only thing to note about this is that the spray mist isn’t very large, so a lot of product comes out in one place. But this is easily fixed by combing the hair well so the product distributes, so not enough to take off a star. The scent elevates the whole impression, lasts as a nice fragrance throughout the day - but doesn’t overpower perfume. I have long, thick, and curly hair that unfortunately is quite damaged after almost daily use of a straightener. Protecting my hair from heat is a given since I care about it being healthy and fresh. Therefore, it was exciting to have the opportunity to test Instant Heat Protection from Waterclouds. My first impression of the product was totally okay. The packaging is simple, and the spray itself has a fresh and summery scent that reminds me of watermelon. The scent also lingers in the hair after application, which I like. The product is supposed to not only protect the hair from heat but also provide care, shine, and volume. After testing it for a while, I must say that it protects against heat as it should, but unfortunately, I noticed no significant difference regarding volume or extra shine. The hair feels soft and fresh, but the effect is relatively subtle. A major downside is the spray bottle and applicator itself. It sprays out in a narrow stream in one spot and makes it difficult to distribute the product evenly throughout the hair. The spray contains good ingredients like argan oil, proteins, and provitamin B, which are good for the hair, but I must say that I didn’t notice any noticeable difference after use. Despite this, I think the product has some positive aspects. I do not recommend keeping the product in your hair for too long, as it has a strong effect. Immediately after the first wash, I noticed that the color was brighter and the yellowness had faded, but it's a shame that a purple streak remained in the front hair even though I kept the product on for less than two minutes. Works Wonders
I got the chance to test the product from Lyko, and without any expectations, I was really positively surprised by the result. My own hair color has been very warm-toned for a long time. Already in the shower, while lathering the shampoo, I noticed that my hair clearly shifts to a cooler tone. There was a small change in my dark roots, but the lightened ends became cooler and lightened significantly! Leaves hair greasy and uncomfortable.
This is the last product in the silver refine series! And the only product I'm not satisfied with.. it lightens the hair and removes yellow tones in the hair. But it unfortunately leaves greasy layers in the hair. I find the hair to be stiff after it dries following application. I have to comb through the hair, and then it unfortunately becomes greasy. Great value for money!
I have used silver shampoo from many different brands. This is one of the best, good pigmentation and moisture .. many dry out the hair, but this one does not. But if you are like me and bleach your hair a lot, like to have it cool, then this is a very good shampoo. But don't let it sit too long, as it has such good pigmentation that it can quickly turn purple. It makes the hair cool and removes yellow tones very quickly. It is also reasonably priced compared to many other silver shampoos. Like the product, but bad nozzle
My hair: Fine, thin, dry, damaged. I use heat styling tools about once a week plus a hairdryer. I liked this heat protection spray, both because of how good it smells and because it doesn't leave anything noticeable in my hair. I've had several heat protection sprays where my hair gets a bit sticky or looks greasy, but my hair is just as fresh after using this. It smells lovely, summery in my hair afterwards. What needs improvement is the nozzle, it sprays the product out like a water gun. I still use the product, but I take 5-6 sprays in my hands and apply it with them. I am a person who is very mindful of my hair health, so it is very important for me to have a good heat protectant every time I use any kind of heat on my hair. Therefore, it was very fitting that I, as #lykoinflutester, got to test Instant Heat Protection from #waterclouds. The first impression of the product was that the packaging was simple but nice, and that the spray had a fresh scent. This heat protectant is supposed to be not only a protective spray that prevents damage from heat, but also nourishing and contributes to volume and shine in the hair.🌟 I have tested a few heat protection products, and unfortunately, I can't say that this one stood out for me. It does its job and protects from the heat, but more than that, I didn't notice anything special. Additionally, the nozzle on the bottle is not ideal, as it sprays in a narrow stream instead of a fine mist, which makes it harder to distribute evenly over the hair. 🥲 But yes, it does its job, but not much more than that. I don't notice any extra volume, maybe a tad more shine, but the nozzle also detracts from the experience of the product. Poor application of spray
The most positive thing about this heat protection spray is that it smells amazing - reminds me of watermelon and summer. The scent lingers in the hair after application. I have quite damaged and thick hair with fine strands, which can lead to me getting tangles in wet hair too quickly. I find that this spray did not distribute well in the hair, but sprayed the product in one spot. It was difficult to distribute the product throughout the hair as the nozzle did not distribute it evenly - felt like a water gun. The spray contains argan oil, provitamin B, proteins, and other protective ingredients, which is surely good for the hair - but I did not notice any difference after using it for a while. I've tried many different heat protectants and this is significantly worse than many on the market. The first thing I noticed when using it was the incredibly bad spray. It just becomes a hard stream that makes it very difficult to distribute the product throughout the hair. However, it smells really good, which is a plus. The worst spray nozzle I've ever experienced
Waterclouds Instant Heat Protection really smells nice✨ It has a fruity, fresh candy scent, almost like watermelon 🍉 and scent-wise it is definitely approved among the heat protectants I have tested. Unfortunately, this is also the only thing that impresses🫣 The actual spray/mist is completely worthless. Instead of a fine, even mist, you get a hard stream straight out, which makes the product extremely difficult to apply to the hair in a good way. The point of a spray bottle completely disappears when it behaves like this. If I still have to spray into my palm and distribute with my hands, I might as well buy a product that is made for just that. Because that is the only thing I have had to do to get it somewhat evenly distributed in the hair, spray it out in my hand first😅 When it comes to the result, I also notice no direct difference in either shine, volume, or feel in the hair. The product simply hasn't made any significant impression on me, and with the poor spray function as the biggest downside, I unfortunately cannot recommend it. I really liked this heat protection spray! It's light in the hair, gives a natural finish, and doesn't weigh down, making it easy to use on both freshly washed and dry hair. Great hair strengthening shampoo with lovely scent🫖!
When I opened the package with the shampoo and accompanying conditioner, it smelled so much and wonderfully of tea! I actually thought someone had spilled black tea over the paper in the box. It smelled so heavenly good😃 My hair is long and has bleached highlights, so I'm used to using strengthening hair care to get strong hair that holds. Since bleaching damages the hair and long hair is old and needs some extra care and especially good hair care! I usually alternate bonding hair care products with moisturizing products for balance in the hair. I really like this shampoo that both cleanses and strengthens my hair well! I feel that my hair is getting stronger and well-nourished at almost the same level as other shampoos that are more expensive. I would gladly use this shampoo as an alternative going forward. It smells, as mentioned, really good for my nose, a fresh scent with a lot of black tea in the fragrance🫖 I have also used the conditioner, and the shampoo became my favorite of the two products in the series! Smells absolutely amazing of tea🫖!
My hair is long and has bleached highlights and really needs to be strengthened by good hair products. So I am a regular user of bonding products that specifically strengthen the hair. I alternate using moisturizing products and strive for a balance between moisturizing products and strengthening ones so that my hair holds as well as possible. When I opened the box with the conditioner and shampoo, it smelled absolutely wonderful, and I first thought someone had spilled tea on the paper in the package! It smelled like black tea😀! Yep, I love the scent of this hair care series, it smells wonderfully fresh to me and yes, very much like tea. My hair is very long, and I have to use good products if it’s going to hold, I often use a hair mask almost every wash. The conditioner is quite creamy but also light. I always need a lot of conditioner in my hair but find that it’s a bit more economical than I expected. It’s easy to massage into the hair, and I appreciate that it doesn’t run between my fingers, you avoid spills on the floor. I really like the design, a tube with a snap lid that works well with the consistency, so it’s easy to squeeze out the conditioner! I also think it’s a nice design and color choice on the label, looks pretty and more expensive than it is. The unfortunate thing is that this bonding conditioner should have contained more moisture since it seemed to contain moisture, and it’s hardly noticeable. The hair feels too dry when using it to claim that it provides moisture. But it can be saved with a moisturizing mask between shampoo and conditioner and of course leave-in products with a lot of moisture! I have added the mist from Kerastase's Gloss Absolu series, which I always use more or less of, and a repairing hair oil that is a heavier oil. If it had claimed to provide moisture, it might have received an extra star.
