Silver Refine Highlight Treatment
I have used the Silver Refine Highlight Treatment spray together with the shampoo and conditioner from the same line. I had never used a similar product before, so it was interesting to test it as part of color maintenance. The spray promises to remove lightly warm and yellow tones from the hair, making cool tones appear fresher and brighter. I personally haven't noticed a significant difference in my hair, perhaps because the effect isn't distinct enough after using other products. It's important to be moderate in dosing, as too much can make the hair look a bit dirty. With the right amount, the spray gives the hair a softer and slightly cooler tone as well as a beautiful shine. The scent is mild and fresh. I have been testing the Silver Refine Conditioner as #lykotestpilot for four weeks now. I love the idea of a silver conditioner since you can leave it in the whole hair. At first, I was skeptical about this product as I felt it didn’t provide enough moisture, but later I realized that it was a good thing. Exciting idea, but a bit too light for my hair
This is an exciting and somewhat different product, and I thought it was fun to test a leave-in spray with silver pigments💜 For me, however, it falls a bit short as a “treatment.” The formula feels quite thin, and I miss more moisture and shine, especially since my hair is bleached and needs extra care. Additionally, I find that the bottle can leak a bit, which detracts from the overall impression☹️🌟 That said, I think this could be a nice product for those who don’t have very dry or damaged hair and want something light and simple between washes. Good correction, not very nourishing☁️
This conditioner does the job when it comes to removing yellow tones, and it pairs well with the rest of the Silver Refine series🌟 It has the same nice scent and gives an even and nice result in blonde hair, I think💌🧖 For my hair, which is bleached and quite damaged, it unfortunately feels just a bit too light. I need a more extremely nourishing and repairing conditioner, and this one doesn't quite provide enough moisture and care to fix dryness. However, I believe that people with less damaged or more normal blonde hair can benefit greatly from this, especially in combination with the shampoo. Good for an OK price🌟
This is a good silver shampoo that delivers on quality for the price! It smells pleasant, and the hair feels nice after use (I think many tend to dry the hair a lot). I also like that it works quickly; already after a short exposure time, you can see a clear effect, which is a big plus in a busy everyday life💌🏃 For me, however, the tone quickly becomes very cool and more silver-colored than I personally prefer, but this is of course a personal preference😍 I prefer products that have a bit more purple pigments and give a slightly softer blonde color. That said, this shampoo does exactly what it promises, and it is perfect for you if you want a clear, cool blonde shade. Unfortunately, this product has not become part of my hair care routine… I think it feels like a smart and unique product. The idea is to enhance the cool tones between washes. Together with the other products from the Waterclouds Silver Refine series, I am very satisfied with this conditioner. It becomes a perfect complement in my hair care routine!🫶🏻 I have used the silver shampoo from the same series every other wash. When I don't wash with silver shampoo, I use this conditioner to still maintain a cooler tone and provide shine and moisture to my bleached hair. It is easy to apply and feels soft and moisturizing in the hair. It doesn't give as "dramatic" an effect as the silver shampoo, so I see this product more as a complement between washes rather than just using this product to tone the hair. The conditioner helped keep the blonde shade fresh and cool between silver shampooings, while the hair felt soft and well cared for. Over the past four weeks, I have tested the Waterclouds Silver Refine series, and I must say that I am very impressed with the results!🌟 As someone who has been blonde my whole life, I have tried many different silver shampoos and masks over the years without really sticking to any particular product or brand. Already after the first wash with this silver shampoo from Waterclouds, I got the feeling that this could become a permanent addition to my routine! I have used the shampoo every other wash and let it sit in my hair for about 2-3 minutes before rinsing it out. I have also shampooed once with my regular shampoo before going in with the silver shampoo to remove dirt and product residue. The product is easy to use and feels gentle on the hair, which is especially important for highlighted or bleached hair that can easily become dry from silver products. Already after the first wash, I saw a clear difference in the shade without the hair turning purple or gray. Additionally, I did not feel that my hair dried out, which is otherwise common with silver shampoos. I was lucky to be #lykotestpilot for the #waterclouds silver series. I am positively surprised by how effectively the shampoo neutralizes yellow tones. I've never achieved this effect with other silver products. I also think it smells super good and lathers well 😊 However, I experienced that my hair became dry even though the products are supposed to be moisturizing. No further effect
The dark purple spray has settled in the edges of the packaging, which makes me immediately concerned that it might leak if I pack it down. But it doesn't. The color also makes me a bit worried considering that I will spray it on dry hair. When I test the product, I spray it all over my hair and brush it out with a hairbrush. Unfortunately, I don't experience any greater effect from the spray, even though I've tested it in different amounts. Softening and color-correcting
The dark purple conditioner has a rather loose consistency compared to "regular" conditioners, but feels like a good consistency when I compare it to other silver conditioners. The scent is sweet but fresh. When using it, it's easy to distribute the conditioner evenly through the lengths, and the hair softens immediately, which removes any tangles. I have Scandinavian hair with many fine strands that often clump together at the nape. This conditioner softens and distributes the hair nicely while I get a good effect from it lightening yellow pigmentation. Even and a lot of results already after 1 use
The dark purple shampoo has a slightly runnier consistency than regular shampoos. I find the scent sweet but still fresh, which I like. I apply the product to my hair after first detoxing from any metals. This is to give the best conditions for the silver shampoo to neutralize the yellow tones that the detox shampoo cannot wash out. I then let the silver shampoo sit for about 1 minute and rinse it out. I have tested finishing with both regular conditioner and silver conditioner and find that I get very good results regardless. The silver shampoo has a real effect on the tone of my hair, and I get an even and soft result. My hair is Scandinavian with many fine strands and normally moisturized. Over the past 4 weeks, I’ve had the opportunity to test the Waterclouds Highlight treatment from the Silver Refine line. Here are my honest opinions and experiences. 🧼 I have thin, fine, Scandinavian, and treated hair. Three times a year, I go to the hairdresser to fully bleach my roots, as well as tone and cut my hair. 💇🏼♀️ Due to my hair type, I’m cautious about adding products as it can easily become stripy and weighed down with products, which means I have to wash my hair more frequently. What I like about this is primarily its ingredients! Natural ingredients are something I greatly appreciate. This contains Betain and Sea kale 🥬 The product has a light formula that sprays out easily. The spray nozzle also gets a plus! It really smells fresh and salon-like, but unfortunately, I don’t get a salon experience from it. Since I have very fine hair, products can easily weigh it down, which I feel this one does. It saturates my hair, and I can feel that I have product in, which for me diminishes the feeling of freshness. Unfortunately, I also don’t see any clear results in terms of a brighter, vibrant shade or shine, but due to its ingredients, it feels good to use. Quick Refresh for Blonde Hair
I had the honor of testing this product from waterclouds. This is a highlight spray that is supposed to give a cooler tone to blonde hair. I think the product does its job and gives a cooler tone to the hair. This is an excellent solution if you want to quickly remove warm pigments from the hair. The spray is easy to use and smells wonderful. However, I am disappointed with the formula and hydration in this product. It is very watery in consistency and feels almost like it is silver shampoo diluted with water. It does not hydrate at all, and other products need to be added to achieve that. I, who have very dry hair, need products with moisture and shine. I think this leave-in spray was very good for keeping the cool color since I don't use the shampoo and conditioner from the same line every time I wash my hair, but only once a week. It also moisturizes the hair, which is good for my dry hair. I use this spray after every wash and feel that the cool color holds better when I use the spray than when I don't use it. I got to try the silver refine conditioner from waterclouds. I think this silver conditioner is pretty okay, it gave a nice cool tone to my hair, didn’t turn blue/purple like some can, so I’m very satisfied with it. However, I felt that it didn’t really give me the moisture that my hair needs from a conditioner since my hair is quite dry, I had to use a lot of the product for it to be somewhat moisturized. A little milk!
I have tested the leave-in treatment together with the other products in the Silver Refine series; the shampoo and conditioner. I have tested all three together but also tested this one on its own in between my washes to see how it behaves. First of all, I like the practical bottle, it is easy to use and has a good mist that makes it easy to spray exactly where you want. Like the other products, it also has a nice fresh scent that doesn't overpower. I appreciate this a lot as I am scent-sensitive and easily trigger my migraine with too strong scents. The treatment also neutralizes my yellow hair very nicely. My blonde highlights become significantly more prominent, and it has been a year since I last did highlights. I like that they also get a cooler and nicer tone. The effect holds up well and doesn't fade with the next wash with other shampoo. I have only tested this on dry hair according to the product instructions. At first, it feels nice in the hair, but when it dries in, the hair becomes stiff and hard, even if I brush through it thoroughly. Even though it otherwise gives a nice result, the feeling of the hard, crispy hair is not particularly pleasant. One advantage is that my hair has not been the least bit static in the past few weeks. Unfortunately, this one is a bit of milk, it is neither great nor directly bad, so it is not a product I will buy in the future! I had the honor of testing waterclouds silver shampoo. I think the bottle is nice and practical, and the shampoo smells wonderful. Unfortunately, it hasn't given the result I completely wished for, I'm a bit more dark blonde at the roots and have noticed that it doesn't want to remove some yellow tones in that area unfortunately. On my lengths, it removes the warmth and gives a nice color, but unfortunately not in the places I had wished.
