This weekend we had our show with the dance studio, and nothing really beats a full face makeup with bold shadows and red lips on a Sunday morning at nine in daylight? 😅😅 Well, no, but it does require a bit more makeup than usual on stage, and I’ve been a bit cautious here and improved it on site, but in the morning even this makeup feels a bit "Over the top" 😋 I used a newly opened palette from #wetnwild, which happens to be one of my favorites. I use something from this almost daily, and now I could pile it on a bit. ✨It’s Eurovision baby! ✨
Tonight is Eurovision and wow, the Nordic countries are really strong this year after all! Not a bad song if I may say my opinion (and I may ☺️) My favorite is Denmark. It’s tough between Denmark and Finland, they are in a class of their own, but my choice still falls on Denmark. However, I think Finland will win and it won’t be positive that Denmark got start number ONE 😬 Time to vote! Sweden’s entry is nice and well-produced, and the Norwegian entry makes me very happy, they are both good but I’m happy if they end up in the upper half. Australia’s entry is written by a Swede and I could have imagined Charlotte Perelli with that song… but now it’s the insanely beautiful Delta Goodrem and a mammoth production and yes, I think they will place high. Super nice ✨
Bought Buzz and Atlas three months ago and am totally sold. They are incredibly nice! Super easy to use, they almost just glide on the eye. They dry quickly and once dry, they stay through everything. Nothing moves them, neither wet snow, a gym session, nor my watery eyes. Despite that, they are easy to wash off, no need to struggle with them! Atlas shifts nicely in pink, purple, and green. While Buzz isn’t quite as multichrome but mostly blue. Still a very nice blue! These pencils are a real hit in my opinion, super good and at a great price. I’ve been hunting for Rhea for a long time, which seems to be in a crazy nice green color, but it’s always out of stock. Yesterday's party
Before I got a hangover, I had of course spruced myself up a bit, and it was time to test how the red-red works with my wavy hair texture. The answer is (according to me😝): absolutely excellent 🍒 I sprayed heat protection from Neqi, scrunched in mousse and gel from Umberto Giannini, hair oil from Kerastase, and finished with the texture spray from R+Co. I’m also linking the makeup I used. Pretty standard. The palette from Moira was included, and the burgundy shadows were meant to sync with the hair color 😋 I COULDN’T resist buying my first Sol de Janeiro scent yesterday either. No. 87. Color pack adheres differently to different qualities of hair. Therefore, you cannot judge how strong the shade will be or how long it lasts just by looking at someone else. Spring Feelings with Pink 🥰🌸
After a base with primer from Make up Mekka and a mix of #lumene cc-cream medium and #idun skintint Kungsholmen, I got a feeling for pink and went wild with my "Vintage rose" palette from #morphe after the shadow primer from #urbandecay. I honestly thought that my red hair would kill my use of pink, in general, but oh how wrong I was! I probably honestly use more pink than ever, but in a different way. The mascara from #catrice in the color burgundy and brow pencil from the same brand. I used my coral blush from #moira, but stood there dreaming of the plum pink and mid-tone blushes from #makeupstore 😋 Must have them! Had Dreamcoat from #colorwow last wash, and it’s hopeless to keep the curls then (shiny and smooth, but that’s the only thing it wants to be). Stubborn as I am, I made a futile attempt today with the dry heat protectant from #happycrazymine, texture spray from #rco, and curling iron from #ghd. On a completely normal weekday, I like to work from a café if I don’t have lessons to lead. Today I’m going to the gym afterward and the glam factor is low but the comfort is high 😋 I curled my hair yesterday so today it was a bit unruly. Not so multichrome, but still good!
My interest in colorful eyeliners is HUGE, and I have long loved multichrome eyeliners. Sheglam had their Chromazone collection (which is now discontinued), and their three original colors of multichrome eyeliners are definitely the eyeliners I have purchased the most times in my life. I really love multichrome, it adds such a nice dimension to the makeup, I think. Especially with a simple matte eyeshadow as a base and a multichrome eyeliner to go with it 🙌 I started 🤤 a little cautiously when I saw these eyeliners from Moira. I bought the color Flare, and I have really liked it! It glides on very gel-like and nicely and gives a good payoff. It also works to smudge it if you are a bit quick. I usually do a pretty thick liner on the upper lid, but if you prefer thinner, there is also a sharpener on the other side of the pencil. The longevity is fantastic on this pencil, and that is one of the features I value the most in an eyeliner. After swatching it on my hand, I had to SCRUB to get it off 😅 Color-wise, I think Moira's swatches (which are also here on Lyko) are a bit misleading. But it is very rare for a multichrome to be as two-toned as those pictures show, so I understood beforehand that they were fake images. Which is a shame, as it gives the customer skewed expectations of the product! In reality, Flare is a brown shade that doesn't really shift to any other color. It is very foil-like, but I don't think it is that multichrome. However, it is pretty! I am of course curious about the other colors of this pencil, some more than others (read: Atlas!).
