Good cleansing without drying out
I had the honor of receiving the #dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel along with some of their other products and have tested them together. This gel has a very subtle and fresh scent and comes in a large package that is easy to use. The cleanser has a gel consistency that foams lightly when mixed with water. It feels fresh on the skin and cleans effectively without being too harsh. Afterwards, the skin feels clean and soft, not tight. The fact that the skin does not feel tight and dry is a big advantage for me as I have dry skin. Therefore, I can feel clean without any discomfort. After using the cleanser for a while, I am satisfied with this product and think it works well as a cleanser without drying out the skin. Scent?
I had the honor of receiving #dermalogica Dermalogica Biolumin-C Serum along with some of their other products and have tested them together. I was in great need of a serum and was therefore so happy to receive this product. My first impression was how luxurious the packaging was. The serum comes in a glass bottle which is well protected inside a nicely designed box. The serum has a light texture that quickly absorbs into the skin and feels smooth to apply. One dropper is enough for the entire face and neck. The skin feels moisturized and gets a lot of glow immediately after application. However, the scent was a big downside for me. The scent is not too strong but doesn’t smell particularly fresh in my opinion and affects the experience for me. Thanks to the strong absorption into the skin, the scent disappears quickly. A serum requires more time to see results but the radiance and glow I have gotten have been perfect for me and I look forward to continuing to use this product. I have had the honor of receiving #dermalogica Daily Microfoliant along with some of their other products and have tested them together. I was very curious to try this product. What immediately caught my interest was that it is an exfoliant in powder form, which feels a bit different compared to regular scrubs. The first impression was that it felt gentle and easy to use. The product feels very mild on the skin but still effective. You activate it by rubbing the powder in your own wet hands. Then the powder foams up but still retains some grains that help exfoliate. After the first use, the skin already felt more radiant. I have dry skin type and therefore prefer exfoliating products that you wash off and do not stay on the skin. Therefore, this type of mild exfoliation suited me very well. After these weeks of use, my skin has neither become irritated nor dried out, which makes this product perfect for daily use. I love the glow I get from this and look forward to seeing what other benefits this product can provide. I prefer products that are not too strong or drying. Mild exfoliation
I have used this 2-3 times a week instead of daily, since I have sensitive skin. It works well as a powder that dissolves in water, but it is important to rub it well between your palms until the grains are completely dissolved and turn into foam. I experience this as a mild exfoliation that has not triggered redness or affected my sensitive skin. After just under three weeks of use, I notice some improvement in the bumps on my cheeks, although it is still early to fully conclude. Gives a lot of glow
I have relatively young skin without obvious wrinkles, scars, or sun damage, so not the classic need for a vitamin C serum. Still, I find that this gives the skin a nice glow and a smooth, fresh base under makeup. Light in texture and absorbs quickly. It has not triggered my sensitive skin or redness. So far, I don't feel a strong need for a vitamin C serum in my routine, but I can definitely see myself buying this again when the need arises. Good cleanser
The cleanser cleans so well that I have stopped using oil cleansing in addition. The skin feels neither irritated nor dry afterwards. I have also noticed an improvement in the skin, especially small bumps on the cheeks have become smaller since I started using it. A small downside is that it contains essential oils. Still, I have sensitive skin and have not experienced any reaction or irritation. Mild exfoliation that gives glow
I had quite high expectations for Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant, precisely because it’s supposed to be so mild that it can be used daily. But considering my sensitive skin, I’ve chosen to use it 2-3 times a week instead, which has worked very well for me. The product comes out as a fine powder that you mix with water in your hands, and voilà, you have a mild exfoliation that feels both gentle and effective. The skin feels immediately smooth, clean, and fresh after use, without becoming tight or irritated. I find that it gives a nice glow and a really deep-cleaned feeling without compromising the skin barrier. Additionally, it’s very easy and quick to use in the routine. I have had the chance to try #lykotestpilot for #unove shampoo, conditioner, and heat protection (leave-in). My hair is medium length, curly, and easily gets very frizzy. I usually straighten or blow-dry my hair after washing to try to tame the frizz. My first reaction to the leave-in was the amazing scent! Fruity, fresh, and absolutely wonderful, I think it’s a scent that suits many (I’ve received quite a few compliments on how good my hair smells). The first time I used the product, I used way too much, which made my hair look greasy instead. My tip is to use a little of the product, because it made a big difference for me! Unove - Heat Guard Leave-In Treatment
I have had the honor of being #lykotestpilot for three products from @Unove, the last one being the leave-in treatment. 🩵 The treatment has the same scent as the hair mask, and I am incredibly happy about that because as the last step in my hair care routine, I scream with joy. Having my hair smell so good and the scent lasting is amazing! 💭 I used a very small amount since I have very thin hair, so this will last me a long time. I have started blow-drying my hair after every wash because I love the feeling and that I get much more volume in my hair. So the fact that it also provides heat protection made me very happy since I hadn’t used it before. It also made a huge difference for the other two products; it’s been a long time since my hair had such shine and luster after washing and blow-drying. My hair feels incredibly moisturized, and I have no dry lengths at all. These products have already worked miracles for my hair. Even two days later, it still doesn’t look dry. I have had the honor of being #lykotestpilot for three products from UNOVE, next up is the hair mask! 🩷 This one has a different scent than Tender bloom but like the shampoo, I think it smells just as good. Not too strong at all but incredibly fresh. Large packaging but a little goes a long way here. 💭 I like that you only need a small amount which makes it very economical. But seriously, the shine I get after this treatment is magical, the hair feels light and fresh. It doesn’t weigh the hair down at all and if anything, the ends feel very moisturized. Conditioner gives plenty of moisture and suits my hair, which is straight and damaged at the ends. It has the same pleasant, mild scent and simple packaging. The hair feels soft immediately after use, and it becomes easier to comb through without feeling heavy. I think this product is absolutely lovely. I have a bit of damaged hair due to constant coloring and styling with a hot brush and hairdryer, so I think it’s perfect to save my hair a little. 😅 It protects against heat while being light in texture. I have straight hair with a bit of damaged ends after many rounds of coloring😅, and this shampoo suited me very well. It has a nice and mild scent that is not too strong, and the packaging is simple and nice. I feel that the hair gets really clean without feeling stripped or dry. On the contrary, the hair becomes softer already in the shower, which is perfect for dry and damaged hair. Nice result but requires caution
I got to try this serum and thought a vitamin C serum would fit into my skincare routine even though my skin is quite sensitive. I'm always on the lookout for a nice glow that doesn't feel too much with my oily skin. Unfortunately, my skin reacted when I initially used it every other day. I got slightly irritated and my skin felt more sensitive than usual. When I instead backed off and started using the serum 2-3 times a week, it worked much better. Despite the reaction, I am actually happy with the serum today. It gives a nice glow and the skin feels smoother, but for me it only works in very small amounts (max 2 drops) and not too often. So it’s an active serum that my skin needs to take in small doses, but when I use it right, I really like the result and will continue to use it!! I have, as #lykotestpilot, received some products from #dermalogica. A little about me: I have combination skin without major acne or scars, but a tendency to clogged pores on the nose and chin as well as oily skin in the T-zone. I used this serum before my moisturizing cream a couple of days a week, and it feels light and absorbs quickly into the skin. I felt that it gave a bit of extra glow and hydration, and that the skin looked a bit more even after a few weeks. However, I noticed that on the days I used it, I could get a bit more oily in the T-zone (especially the nose and chin), which was a bit unfortunate. For me, it was a completely okay product, but nothing I feel I have to have again – especially considering the price. I have been tasked as #lykotestpilot to try some products from #dermalogica. A little about me: I have combination skin with a tendency to clogged pores mainly on my nose and chin. This one is truly my favorite among the products. It feels like it really goes in and cleans the pores thoroughly, especially on the nose and chin where I usually get clogged skin easily. At first, it was a bit hard to know how much to use, but you learn quickly. I also noticed that it works best every other or every third day; using it every day is a bit too much. It’s actually supposed to be mild enough for daily use, but I tried it and instead felt it had the opposite effect. After use, the skin feels much softer and smoother, like a little “reset.” The pores on my nose also became much less visible, and I have really been looking for a product that gives this result. Special cleansing gel
As a #lykotestpilot, I have received some products from #dermalogica. A bit about me: I have combination skin where I easily get oily in the T-zone, especially the nose, but fairly normal to dry on the rest of my face. It has been difficult for me to find cleansers that don’t dry out the skin, so I mostly gave up looking. At first, I was quite skeptical due to previous experiences with cleansers, but this one surprised me. I use it in the evening after removing makeup, and I only use it once. It really is enough to remove the last bit of dirt and feels very gentle on the skin. What I like most is that it doesn’t leave the skin tight or dry, which many other cleansers do to me. Instead, the skin just feels clean and balanced afterwards. However, I do think the price is a bit high. Refreshing serum
For about three weeks, I have had the chance to test the Biolumin-C serum from #dermalogica as #lykotestpilot. The product promises more radiance and a more even skin tone, and uneven pigmentation is counteracted. The skin surface should become smoother and with improved elasticity. Nice packaging with text inside the box suggesting how it can be used. Beautiful glass bottle with a dropper, which makes it easy to apply. After application, the skin feels sticky like a grip primer. After moisturizer, I see a glow. The serum works well with my regular moisturizer, and I don’t see the serum “pilling” with my cream. I have used the product morning and evening during the test period (except for some evenings when I used a hydrating mask overnight). My skin: very dry and sometimes irritated skin that is mature with large pores around the nose and chin. From application and for a few hours, I see redness on the cheeks and nose. I am also testing Daily Microfoliant and don’t know if it’s that product or this serum causing the redness. Over time, the skin looks fresher, less dull, maybe a bit smoother on the cheeks and with a glow, hard to see in the picture. The lines from the nose down to the mouth (on the cheek) look smaller. I will continue to use the product but once a day since I see redness after use, and with more time maybe the pigmentation evens out as well. Too strong peeling for me
I have been testing the Daily Microfoliant from #dermalogica as #lykotestpilot for about three weeks. The product is supposed to be gentle enough for daily use, remove dead skin cells, and make the skin soft and fresher with a new glow. It is also supposed to reduce uneven pigmentation. My first impression is that it’s something different from what I’m used to, a powder that needs to be mixed with water before application. You have to be careful when dispensing because at first nothing comes out and then a lot, but once you know this, you’re more prepared next time. It’s economical and the skin feels clean afterward. My skin: very dry and sometimes irritated skin, mature skin with large pores on the nose and chin. I have used the product every evening during the test period. The skin feels soft and not particularly dry, but I see that the skin is irritated afterward and stays slightly red/pink for several hours after I apply serum and cream (the top picture is right after washing and the lower picture is about 4 hours after washing). I see fewer blackheads around the nose and filled pores on the chin look smaller. The skin looks smoother/“polished” in some areas, which creates a glow. Lovely cleanser for dry skin
I have been testing the Special Cleansing Gel from #dermalogica as #lykotestpilot for about three weeks. The product promises to quickly remove makeup and dirt without drying out the skin and that it is very economical. My first impression is that the bottle is nice, but I think it's easy for too much product to come out, which results in it not being as economical as it could be, but you learn after a while. Lovely thick lather/foam. Right after washing, the skin feels clean and it doesn't tighten like some cleansers can do for me. My skin: very dry and sometimes irritated skin, mature skin with large pores on the nose and chin. I have used the product morning and evening. Special Cleansing Gel is in a similar price range as my favorite cleanser and cleans well and does not irritate the skin. I see fewer blackheads around the nose but that may also be due to the enzyme peeling I have tested at the same time as the Cleansing Gel. What is really nice is that the skin does not feel irritated or tight after washing but still clean and not sticky (like some cleansers for dry skin can do for me). My starting point: dry, slightly sensitive skin after winter. I have been lucky to test this product for about three weeks now. I have tried some Dermalogica products before. They have consistently impressed me! This one is no exception. I have little experience with vitamin C before. The serum is very gel-like, applies easily to the skin. It smells fresh of orange. I get an immediate glow in my face. During this period, I feel my skin has become more even and gained more glow. I use retinol in my routine a few nights a week, and I think this fits perfectly with it. I have used it both morning and evening. Absorbs quickly, perfect consistency for a serum. I can quickly apply cream and makeup on top. I am very impressed. The price is quite steep, but I have so much faith in Dermalogica's products.
