As a test pilot here at Lyko, I have had the chance to try this and two other products from Dermalogica over a few weeks. The container is sleek and feels luxurious, and I appreciate the pump function. It is also light and convenient to carry in my bag. I have combination/normal skin and mainly use this in the evening as the last step. I find that it really softens and moisturizes the skin while making it smooth and nice. The cream has a lovely, light texture and absorbs quickly, which is a big plus. It feels really good on my skin and I haven’t noticed any irritation. The scent is a bit different – I think it reminds me of some kind of cream from the pharmacy, but it’s not a strong scent so it doesn’t bother me. 💜 Luxurious product that makes the skin smooth and nice 💜
I have had the honor of testing this product for a few weeks. Really exciting! The bottle feels luxurious, and the lotion is light in texture. It’s not like a gel but somewhat in that direction. At first, it feels a bit sticky in texture, but it’s not much and it doesn’t bother. This lotion is easy to apply thanks to the pump bottle, and it absorbs quickly into the skin. I have noticed that it seems to make my skin plumper and smoother. The skin feels incredibly soft and gets a really nice glow and texture when I use this. I use it morning and evening, and it works great under makeup! It looks really nice under makeup. I feel that it makes my skin look younger and fresher. I have combination/normal skin, but I haven’t noticed any skin irritations when using this product. It simply feels wonderful on the skin! The scent isn’t the very best; I find it a bit strong. It’s not a bad scent, but I think it’s a little different. I don’t have visible wrinkles, but I haven’t noticed any major difference in my fine lines. At least not yet. It may very well be that you need to use this lotion for a longer period before seeing such results. When it comes to the price, it’s not a cheap lotion. Not everyone can afford to buy this. Dermalogica Phyto Nature E2
I had the opportunity to try and review this lovely serum from #dermalogica. At the first pump, I immediately felt that the texture is the type of serum I like. It has a slightly loose gel-like consistency. It arrived just in time for a sunny vacation, so I apply it in the evening after a day in the sun to restore moisture, support the skin’s cell renewal, and also in the morning. It’s a pity that it contains essential oils. Like other products from Dermalogica, essential oils are used in the formula, which unfortunately contributes to skin irritation. The scent is mild and not overwhelming in any way. But unfortunately, I generally don’t think it belongs in facial products. This is because my skin has struggled with perioral dermatitis before, and essential oils and fragrance can easily irritate. So far, it hasn’t caused any irritation from the oils. I think the skin feels smooth and soft. But reducing fine lines probably requires continuous long-term use. I look forward to seeing what it can do for my signs of aging in the long run. I have fine lines that I would like to smooth out and reduce. But the price is high, and I’m unsure if it’s worth the money to buy another one. I have now tested this day cream, which also contains sun protection, for a few weeks. I was positively surprised by this product as it really softens the skin and makes it look so smooth and nice! The cream is light and nice, it absorbs quickly into the skin and leaves no greasy residue on my combination/normal skin. The container itself is also very light and convenient to carry in a bag. I have used this under makeup and it works perfectly, it doesn’t feel sticky at all. Some other sunscreens can get a bit oily or sticky under makeup, but not this one. I also haven’t noticed any risk of sunburn when using the cream. It’s very easy to apply the cream via the pump function, which I really appreciate! I also think it smells really good, not like a typical sunscreen but more fresh and refreshing. However, it is expensive, so for the amount you get, it can become quite costly if you need to buy this cream multiple times. Then I can still imagine that there are cheaper alternatives that are just as good. Exfoliation and Luxury
I have been lucky enough to be a test pilot for this luxurious Dermalogica. Here comes the review of Dermalogica’s “Phyto Nature,” which is a leave-on exfoliation to be used twice daily. 🧼 🌗 My skin is not in its best condition at the moment. I have pollen allergies that usually can negatively affect my skin this time of year, making it extra sensitive. 🌱 Otherwise, I would describe it as combination skin that easily gets clogged pores. I used this product morning and night for two weeks and loved the texture and thought the size of my pores decreased. But then the skin on my forehead started to get clogged pores, and I read that the ingredients in this exfoliation could irritate skin that doesn’t tolerate oils. I had to take a break and use it once daily, which calmed the skin somewhat. But it was lovely in the evenings when removing makeup to feel dead skin cells rolling off. I have been lucky to be a test pilot for some luxurious products from Dermalogica. Here is my review after a few weeks of using Dynamic Skin - Recovery SPF50 50 ml. 🤍 Before I read about the product, it seemed like a great day cream with SPF and its anti-age properties. I have a bit of trouble with sunscreens that are too greasy since I have acne-prone skin, so my T-zone gets oily easily. I have now used this product for 3 weeks and SPF is always something I use daily every morning! Unfortunately, this product really clashed with my skin! It didn’t absorb into the skin as one would have hoped, instead you could feel the product on the face. Since it didn’t absorb properly, I also noticed the product starting to flake off throughout the day on my face. I tried combining this with Dermalogica’s other products and using the SPF as the last step in my routine, but it was not at all the result I wanted. I also noticed I got bumps/pimples on my skin from this product, which is unfortunate! The function and application of the product itself is good, the cream is neither too thick nor too runny. Comfortable gel cream!
This is a gel cream that is thin, light, and easy to apply. When you first put on the cream, there is a citrus scent (which I was skeptical about due to sensitive skin), but the scent disappears quickly as the cream absorbs! I have normal/dry skin, and the cream has just the right amount of moisture for me (at least in spring/summer, haven’t tested it in winter). I liked the pump, and initially, a good amount of product came out. The only thing I have to mention is that if it’s in a toiletry bag and moves around, it’s hard to get the product out and it comes out unevenly. I took the cream out of the toiletry bag so it stands still and haven’t experienced any problems since. So it’s probably not the best cream to bring on trips. The cream gives a bit of glow and a plumping effect, and is supposed to have anti-aging effects (which I can’t comment on yet since I’ve only used it for 2-3 weeks). Did not live up to expectations
I have tested this together with my mother (who has older skin than me, and more visible wrinkles/fine lines) for about 2 weeks. The consistency is thin, almost gel-like, and the product is easy to apply. It should be used twice a day, but if you have sensitive skin, it can quickly become too much (in my opinion). It promises, among other things, to show results after the first use, minimize visible wrinkles/fine lines, and give a glow. What happened? - After about 2 weeks of use, there was no significant reduction in visible wrinkles or fine lines. I had planned to take before and after pictures, but there was no difference visible on the camera. - It gave an immediate glow, which you can see in the video. The glow worked nicely as a base under makeup. The result would probably have been better if used over a longer period. The biggest effect (for us) was glow and smoother skin. I didn’t really notice any significant reduction of fine lines or wrinkles at all. There are many other products that also give glow and smoothness, but at a much cheaper price, which greatly affects the rating. I had high hopes because I see it has worked well for many others, and was a bit disappointed. Is it just me who finds foot care annoying? All that filing and scrubbing 😭 But I decided to give it a chance and try to say goodbye to my rough, flaky, and tired feet.. While trying the foot cream, my feet have gone from a bit hard to softer. Of course, I had taken care of my feet before trying the cream so it’s fair to judge. Over the past few years, I've tried a whole bunch of hand creams, but this one probably takes the prize so far for the best. I love hand cream, probably because I've had such dry hands before. I have a job where my hands are washed frequently and I have to wear gloves and use hand sanitizer, which I don't think has helped my hands. My first thought about the hand cream is that it feels a bit boring since it doesn't have much of a scent and the packaging doesn't look super exciting, but oh, how this one surprised me. It has a thick consistency and moisturizes while not being sticky (which is very important to me since I have a hard time staying still). You can immediately feel the skin getting moisturized, and as you see in the video, it melts right into the skin. I also like the jar, where you can easily pump out as much cream as you want without any mess 👏🏼. I’ve used it almost every evening during the test period, partly because my skin actually gets a bit red right after application, and since I use SPF 50 during the day, I haven’t needed to use it before then. The skin feels really super smooth from the cream, and I wake up every morning with a nice glow ✨ 😍. This one together with Phyto Nature E2 is really great for my skin. 🥳 The cream definitely doesn’t feel heavy on the face, and I can imagine it also works for acne-prone skin. Again, the price of this one, close to a thousand, and promises visible results after three days (according to the ad), lowers my rating by one star 🌟. I would still consider buying this one again, but only when it’s on sale 💦🤣. As a #lykotestpilot, I received three products from #dermalogica, and one of the products is this cream with SPF 50 (which we like, right?). Before I break down my thoughts, I want to tell you a bit about my skin and what the cream promises: 🌱 Dry skin 🌱 Freckles 🌱 Red areas 🌱 Requires gentle exfoliation and moisturizing ingredients 🌱 Fine lines around the eyes Dynamic skin promises: 🌱 Improve firmness and elasticity 🌱 Inhibit uneven pigmentation 🌱 Stimulate the production of hyaluronic acid and collagen If you look at the pictures Dermalogica themselves posted of a person with forehead wrinkles, it shows a significant effect after just two weeks of use. I don’t see that effect on myself, of course, the person and I don’t have the same skin, but the "advertisement" is pretty straightforward: less visible wrinkles. In my case, that’s not visible, and at the same time, I’m not looking for my wrinkles to be reduced by the product; I want more and different effects. Also, I don’t have as visible wrinkles as the ad picture shows. 🫶🏼 I really like it, I want to be clear about that. Sure, it takes a while to work it into the skin, but it melts in nicely, the scent is also fresh and not too strong in my opinion. The cream isn’t better than any other, so I can’t give it five stars. I have, as #lykotestpilot, used three different products from #dermalogica, and one of them is PHYTO NATURE 🌱. I can start by saying that I was skeptical at first since it promises a lot, but before I share my thoughts on it, I’ll first present my skin and then what the product promises: 🌱 Dry skin 🌱 Red areas sometimes 🌱 Freckles 🌱 Fine lines around the eyes 🌱 Want moisture and a gentle exfoliation PHYTO NATURE promises: 🌱 Suitable for all skin types 🌱 Reduce the appearance of fine lines 🌱 Stimulate cell renewal deeply 🌱 Give immediate radiance and a direct cosmetic effect PHYTO promises quite a lot, and I thought it would fall flat but! After using it morning and night, I saw quite quickly that my red area on the cheek actually calmed down, which for me is incredible after such a short time of use (about two weeks). In the picture I’m sharing, it might not show so well since I had self-tanner on the before picture, but the area has decreased and calmed down significantly, and I’ve had this for many weeks 😅 already, so it definitely gets three stars from me straight away. I give the fourth because it actually gives radiance and despite its gel-like consistency, it works well under different bases and creams. But why not five stars then? Well! The price and the immediate effect it promises. The price because yes, it’s high. I will buy it again anyway (it’s this and Estee Lauder’s night serum that I actually repurchase despite the price), so half a star for the price and half a star for the promises. That it should stimulate cell renewal deeply, that’s not something I think I’ll see even after months of use, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t work 💌. It will last a long time, you actually get a lot of product for the money, two pumps are plenty for the face 🌸☀️. The important thing here is to use SPF during the day since it gently exfoliates the skin, so absolutely do not use it in the morning without SPF. I really like the design! Nice purple color that gradually gets lighter 💜. A little about me: thin, tinted, frizzy, and mid-length hair that easily gets oily at the scalp. However, also a sensitive scalp that doesn’t like harsh washing. Impossible!😅 Good budget alternative for those with sensitive scalp. Smart SPF product for those who easily burn at the parting. Easy to apply with extended nozzle, works best on towel-dried hair. Lightweight formula that distributes on the scalp and doesn’t clump the hair. Gives a slightly cooling sensation. However, there are better products out there, this one was a bit weak. There is also no accompanying conditioner, which doesn’t work for my frizzy hair! Therefore, it didn’t suit my hair and scalp very well.
