I have used this day cream for a few weeks, but it was not for me. The packaging is great, a nice and practical pump bottle. Two pumps were enough for my face. I used the cream during the day at first, but it left a sticky film and had trouble absorbing into the skin and made my face sweaty. I then switched to using it at night instead, but the sticky feeling remained. So first and foremost, I am completely speechless!! So grateful that I now through #lykotestpilot have had the honor to try skincare from #emmas The tube is sleek and very easy to use. At first, I was a bit skeptical if a light gel cream would work for my dry skin, but the formula surprised me very positively already at the first use. The gel cream feels incredibly fresh, absorbs quickly into the skin, and leaves no sticky surface at all. The combination of ingredients with 4% niacinamide, BHA, and hyaluronic acid makes it feel both effective against pores and deeply moisturizing at the same time. I've had the honor to try some skincare products from Emma S ☁️🤍🫶🏼 The design of this day cream is sleek and the pump bottle makes it very hygienic and very convenient, but when I first pressed out the cream, I was a little hesitant. As someone with dry skin, it didn’t feel powerful or rich enough to save my skin. It has a nice formula with hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, and antioxidants as well as SPF 20. The cream absorbs smoothly and gives an immediate glow, but the sun protection factor feels a bit low for real sunny days and I still needed to apply a fairly generous layer so my skin wouldn’t feel tight after a few hours. I have very dry skin that quickly soaks up all moisture and easily gets dry patches or visible dryness lines if a day cream is too thin. I’m usually skeptical of multifunctional day creams with SPF as they rarely provide enough nourishment for dry skin. The cream softens the skin for the moment and reduces the finest dryness lines thanks to the hyaluronic acid, but it’s not quite enough on its own for me. To keep my dry skin soft and hydrated all day, I need to supplement with a hydrating serum underneath. I've had the honor to try some skincare products from Emma S 🩷 My first impression of the product was very positive because the packaging is sleek and feels solid in the hand. The fragrance-free formula feels clean and gentle right from the first use 💙 The product is easy to apply with a cotton pad and absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving any sticky residue. What sets this toner apart is the combination of 2% BHA acid and 1% willow bark extract, which effectively cleans deep down, while plant-based propanediol prevents the skin from drying out, which is awesome!! I really think it lives up to the promise of "Clean pores, clear skin." I have combination skin that easily gets clogged pores and blackheads but can also become dry on the surface if I use too strong acids. Since this toner is fragrance-free and contains moisturizing ingredients, it actually suits my skin type perfectly without causing irritation. I've read other reviews and seen that it's not that popular, but after regular use, my blackheads have decreased and my skin texture has become significantly smoother. For me, it hasn't been a problem. I used the product daily for about three weeks. The skin feels soft and silky smooth already after the first wash, without feeling tight or dry. Revitalising Day Cream SPF 20
After testing this day cream for about 4-5 weeks, my skin has started to "get used" to it. I have very dry skin and have previously used a lot of moisturizing creams. This product absorbs incredibly well into the skin and feels nice both as a night cream and day cream. I haven't noticed any major differences in the "wrinkles" I have, but the skin feels elastic. Smoothing Niacinamide Formula
I have been testing this product as #lykotestpilot for 4-5 weeks. I have very dry skin and have not used any similar product before, only a lot of moisture. The first time I used Smoothing Niacinamide, it stung a lot, but that feeling went away quite quickly. Therefore, I was very careful about increasing usage. After about 3.5 weeks, I started using it every other day together with revitalising day cream and clarifying 2% BHA. So far, I haven't noticed much difference in my pores, but maybe it needs more time. The cream is very runny in consistency, which makes it feel very economical. It absorbs into the skin quite quickly. Good BHA Toner
As a test pilot, I got to try this toner for about two and a half weeks. The toner contains 2% BHA, is fragrance-free, and the packaging feels sleek, fresh, and nice. 🤍 I have somewhat dry and very sensitive and reactive skin. I applied the product on a cotton pad and swept it over my neck and face. I apply it after washing, and before serum and cream. 🧴💦 The toner exfoliates the skin, making it clear, exfoliated, smooth, and is supposed to reduce pore size. I find it lovely to use, the skin feels clear, smooth, and fresh. A slightly thicker toner. I feel fresh, hydrated, and really wonderfully clean! 🌟 I tried it a few times and then used it every day for a week. At first, it went great, but I noticed it was a bit too often for my sensitive skin. My skin reacted a little, so I had to pause using it for a few days. I have had the honor of testing this along with 2 other products from face formula for a couple of weeks as #lykotestpilot. I tested this every day for 2 weeks. I have oily skin with a lot of redness and easily get pimples if I use the wrong products, which was clearly noticeable here🥲. It has a thick consistency and doesn’t really absorb into the skin the way I want😅. Unfortunately, it has been too heavy for my skin and caused me extra pimples. However, it sits nicely under makeup🫶. I have had the honor of testing this along with 2 other products from face formula like #lykotestpilot for a couple of weeks, and I can already see some difference in how my skin feels😄. Pictures 2 and 3 are my skin before and after 3 weeks of use🫶 I have oily skin with a lot of redness and easily get pimples if I use the wrong products, but thankfully this worked without any problems☺️. It has a gel-like consistency and a smart dropper that I really liked. During use, I noticed that my pores became visibly smaller on my cheeks and that my redness decreased somewhat😍. It is very moisturizing, so when I used it together with a cream it became too heavy and I got pimples. On its own, however, it worked well. I usually prefer facial cleansers that foam a bit more, as I have often felt that my skin doesn’t get properly clean from cleansing milk or cleansing oil. Face Formula Blue Serum
As a Lyko influencer tester, I got to try some skincare from Face Formula!😍 My first impression of Face Formula Blue Serum was that it felt like a really luxurious product. I really like the matte glass packaging that gives an exclusive impression. The serum has a light texture and feels very pleasant on the skin 💙 I use the serum after my regular cleansing and before moisturizer. The serum absorbs quickly into the skin and doesn’t feel heavy or sticky. I also think the product is economical and therefore lasts a long time. The scent is a bit special though and took some time to get used to. I use serum every day and have therefore tested quite a few different serums before. I think it’s important that a serum feels light on the skin while providing plenty of hydration. That’s why it was extra fun to try this product, especially since it’s a bit more expensive than the ones I usually use. After using the serum regularly, I really feel that my skin is more hydrated, softer, and has a nicer glow. I actually think I see clear results, which means I would definitely consider buying the product again. The only thing that makes me hesitate is the price, as it’s quite high. Nova Cream SPF30+
I have been so lucky to test some products from Face Formula as a Lyko Testpilot! Nova Cream is described as a lightweight sunscreen with SPF30+ that protects against UVA, UVB, infrared, and blue light, while also providing moisture and strengthening the skin's natural defense. The packaging itself is nice – it comes in a golden brown pump bottle with orange details and looks stylish on its own. It’s probably easy to bring along when traveling and in your bag because of the cap, which is great! Relatively little product comes out with one pump, so to cover the entire face you should use a couple of pumps. The cream itself is white, soft, and pleasant on the skin, easy to spread, and gives a slightly shiny/shimmery result. I have tried it every morning for a little over two weeks now, but unfortunately, I’m not quite sure about the product. I find it difficult to know how much sunscreen to use. I’m used to needing quite a bit of sunscreen for good protection, and it also says on the product page that you should use a generous amount – yet only a little comes out with each pump, and if you use more than a couple of pumps, your face just turns white. On me, it also pills a lot throughout the day, no matter what I try to combine it with in terms of skincare and makeup. It pills the most on my chest/decolletage where I have the least skincare and no makeup. I’ve also used it some days without any makeup at all, but it’s almost like it pills more and more each time I use it, and today I actually had to wash it off because it was so annoying. I also experience that the shimmering effect of the cream sometimes feels like the skin is just oily – and that’s not so nice when you have combination skin… I also think the SPF is too low. I use SPF 50 on my face every day all year round because I use active ingredients in my skincare routine, so it feels very wrong to use only factor 30 these weeks. I haven’t noticed anything negative on my skin, but sun damage and signs of aging are things that come gradually. Would I buy the product again? No. It pills, it has too low SPF, and my skin looks shiny and white on some days. So no, I wouldn’t spend my money on this, at least not as long as there are fantastic sunscreens with higher SPF that don’t have these issues. Who could it suit? I imagine this sunscreen could suit those who use little skincare regularly and are looking for a simple product that can give a bit of a "glow" while providing sun protection. Personally, I think it’s a high price for a product that doesn’t quite deliver. Blue Serum
I have been so lucky to test some products from Face Formula as a Lyko Testpilot! I have never tried blue serum before, but I became very interested when I read about the product before receiving it in the mail. The serum is inspired by Scandinavian nature and contains copper peptides that are supposed to stimulate skin regeneration and collagen production, Snow Mushroom which binds moisture deeply and gives a more elastic skin surface, while malachite (a green copper mineral) provides antioxidant protection and supports the skin's ability to counteract oxidative stress. The bottle itself is very beautiful – a transparent glass bottle with blue serum and a simple dropper that works excellently. Very simple dosing mechanism where you just press the top of the cap to pick up serum, and it is easily applied to the skin. For me, one dose is enough for the whole face, as it is easy to spread over the skin and absorbs quickly. It feels soft and pleasant on the skin. I don't think it smells much, and the blue serum disappears quickly after application. It feels quite economical to use because you need so little at a time. I often have some redness in my skin, and I think it has improved since I started using this serum, and the skin has cleared up a bit and looks calmer. Would I buy it again? I'm unsure. The product is good, but the price is very steep for only 30 ml. At this price, there are many other good products with more research-based results. I am very grateful to have been able to test it, and I liked the consistency and appearance, but I am unsure if it is worth the price. I am also unsure if the combination with vitamin C and retinol is good together with copper peptides, as it is generally advised not to combine them in the same routine. I have used Blue serum with vitamin C in the morning and retinol in the evening during the test period, and I can't see that Face Formula has any recommendations regarding this, but when I read a bit closer, I find that it is generally recommended to use copper peptides at different times than retinol, vitamin C, and AHA. Since I use retinol and vitamin C every day, I will prioritize these over copper peptides.
