Good serum that actually isn’t sticky.
I’ve been lucky enough to be a test pilot for #lyko and have had the chance to test this product for about 2 weeks now. The first thing I noticed was the packaging, which was plastic but still had an unusually sleek design. It was easy to open and close, and also easy to dose the serum with this design and the pipette 😄 Now to the scent, which is hard to miss 😅 it smells fresh, I think it smells like bubblegum but at the same time it smells clean. It smells really good but sometimes maybe a bit much if you’re sensitive to scents, because after using this, several people commented and asked “oh what is that?” 😅 so yes, it lingered long after the hair was dry. I thought it almost smelled too strong some days, which gave me mild migraine attacks, especially since I was already a bit scent sensitive before 🥴, but in my opinion it’s a good and unisex scent, suitable for most.😄 The serum is liquid with a very pleasant consistency. It’s very economical to use so you only need a few drops. The serum spreads easily with the pipette. It absorbs quickly into the scalp without leaving a sticky film like some serums can. The hair doesn’t get greasy from the serum but stays nice until the next wash. 😊 I find it to be a fairly mild serum as it doesn’t irritate my dry and sensitive scalp when I used a bit of it. So I also didn’t experience any itching when I used it. 🤭 but the scalp felt more balanced and not least less dry 😄 After using this serum, but also the shampoo and conditioner in the same series, the hair feels soft, full, fresh, and clean after use. The hair stays fresh and clean longer than usual and it doesn’t weigh the hair down either. The hair still smelled good after drying even with the use of heat protectant and blow drying as well. I find the hair becomes a bit more manageable after use, but at the same time not super soft because it got a bit dry. This is probably a 9 out of 10 because the scent was overwhelming at times. I’ve only used the product for two weeks, so it’s still a bit early to assess if it has had any effect on hair growth but it works very well with the shampoo and conditioner in the same series at least 🙌 The only downside I found, which makes me deduct a star, is the scent, which was too strong for my taste on some days. It smells very good but sometimes maybe a bit much if you are sensitive to smells because after using this, several people commented and asked, oh what is that? 😅 So yes, it lasted long after the hair was dry. I think it almost smelled too much some days, which gave me mild migraine attacks especially when I was already a bit sensitive to smells 🥴 but in my opinion it is a good and unisex scent, suitable for most.😄 I find it to be a fairly mild conditioner, as it does not irritate my dry and sensitive scalp when I used a little of it. So I also did not itch when I used this. 🤭 The conditioner is very economical to use, so you only need a small amount. It spreads easily in the hair even though it has a very thick creamy but not heavy consistency😊 I let the conditioner sit for a few minutes before rinsing it out, so it can work properly and after that the hair feels soft, full, fresh and clean after using this, after washing with the shampoo in the same series. The hair stays fresh and clean longer than usual and it does not weigh the hair down. The hair still smelled good after drying even after using heat protection and blow drying as well. I find that the hair becomes a bit more manageable after use, but at the same time not super soft because it became a bit dry. So unfortunately my lengths on my long hair became drier so a bit of a deduction for that. But my hair is also such that it quickly gets greasy at the top and dry in the lengths so it is a bit difficult to find a real 10 out of 10 😅 but this is probably an 8 out of 10 because of this and that the scent became overwhelming at times. I have only used the product for two weeks, so it is still a bit early to assess if it has had any effect on hair growth but it works very well with shampoo and serum in the same series at least 🙌 The only minuses I found and that make me deduct a star are the drying effect on the ends and the scent, which was too strong for my taste on some days. Overnight Smoothing Serum 30 ml
I think the Face Formula Overnight Smoothing Serum is a good product that makes the skin softer and smoother over time. It absorbs nicely into the skin, and I find that the skin looks a bit fresher and more radiant after regular use. You also don’t need a lot of product at once, so the bottle lasts quite a while. At the same time, it’s a product you need to use with some care. Since it contains exfoliating acids, it’s important to use sunscreen during the day after application. That’s not necessarily a problem, but it can be a bit inconvenient for those who often forget to use sunscreen. I’m also not so fond of the dropper. After use, product often collects on it, which can feel a bit messy. The bottle is also made of plastic, which works fine, but it doesn’t feel as luxurious as some other serums in the same price range. I think Face Formula Pink Serum is a very good serum. It absorbs quickly into the skin, feels light, and provides a lot of moisture without being sticky. Good product but not for acne-sensitive skin
When I received the product from #lykotestpilot, I actually had no expectations; it’s the first time I’m trying something from #drceuracle. But when I opened the product, I was immediately excited to try it! My first reaction was that I thought the packaging was simple and convenient, there was no screw cap which was nice, and it came with a small scoop so you don’t have to dig into the product with your fingers. At first use, I loved the product! It melted away all dirt and thoroughly cleansed the skin. Afterwards, the skin felt moisturized and soft, not tight, which I usually have problems with using my regular daily cleanser. But the next morning I woke up with lots of fresh small pimples. I have used the product both together with other products from the brand and also alone with my normal routine that helps me with my acne. But both times I woke up with new fresh pimples. I was really so excited because the product was so good at cleansing the face, but so unfortunate that it gave me pimples. I have combination acne-prone skin; some days my skin is normal, other days dry, and sometimes oily in the T-zone or the whole face. I would say I’m mostly dry and get oilier towards the end of the day. I have had acne problems for several years and would say I have somewhat sensitive skin. I’m very into skincare and like to try new skincare to find the perfect products for my skin. But I have now stuck to one routine for a few months that I think works for me and doesn’t give me acne. The conclusion after trying this product for a few weeks is that the cleansing balm works really well to remove makeup but doesn’t work for my acne skin. I have now, as #lykotestpilot, had the chance to try Hyal Reyouth Melting Balm from Dr. Ceuracle and it has quickly become a favorite in my evening cleansing routine. For reference, I have combination, mostly oily skin! The balm melts nicely on the skin and effectively dissolves makeup, sunscreen, and other products that need to be washed off in the evening. I now use this as step 1 in my evening routine, but always follow up with a water-based cleanser after a product like this! It becomes slightly foaming and my skin feels clean, soft, and comfortable afterwards. I have had the chance to try Dr. Ceuracle Hyal Reyouth Melting Foaming Balm for three weeks, and it has been an interesting experience because it differs quite a bit from other cleansing balms I have tried. My first impression was that the product comes in a nice jar with an accompanying spatula, which feels both practical and hygienic. However, the jar is quite large, while the inner container is significantly smaller, so the packaging feels a bit bulky relative to the amount of product you actually get. I don’t notice any particular scent, which I personally appreciate because the product feels mild and is also suitable for those who prefer fragrance-free skincare. The formula is very different compared to other cleansing balms I have tested. It is much thicker and doesn’t melt on the skin the same way many other balms do. Instead, it almost feels like massaging a thick paste into the skin. When you then add water, it transforms into a foaming cleanser, which provides a unique user experience. Who doesn’t really love moisturized products at every step of the routine? I have been testing this along with 2 other products from Dr. Ceuracle that are #lykotestpilot for a couple of weeks, and I have to say I am totally in love with all of them! I have oily skin with a lot of redness and easily get pimples if I use the wrong products, but luckily this worked without any problems😁. Face Formula Pink Serum feels like a truly luxurious product right from the first impression. Face Formula Probiotic Cleansing Mousse is a good facial cleanser that effectively does its job. I find that my skin feels clean after use and that impurities are reduced. I especially like the soft mousse texture, which makes the product pleasant and easy to use. Although I am satisfied with the results, I probably wouldn’t buy the product again, mainly because of the price. It is significantly more expensive than the facial cleansers I usually use, and I don’t think the difference in effect justifies the cost for me.
