Conditioner
The conditioner immediately gave a high-quality impression thanks to the stylish and attractive packaging. However, one challenge quickly emerged in use: the conditioner is quite thick in consistency, making it difficult to get out of the bottle. The bottle easily compressed when squeezed, and the product had to be dispensed with quite a bit of force. The conditioner has the same forest-like, resinous scent as the shampoo from the same line. The scent is distinctive and, in my opinion, quite strong and not particularly pleasant to my taste. The texture feels rich, but I expected it to moisturize the hair more. My hair type is slightly naturally curly/wavy and thin, but the ends are dry and the roots get oily easily. After using the conditioner, my hair was soft, easy to detangle, and clearly felt more voluminous. However, the ends felt a bit dry for my liking. I have now used the conditioner for just under two weeks, so I have not yet noticed any hair growth-promoting effect. Overall, the conditioner gives hair airiness and volume, but it is not sufficient alone for very dry ends. I have been using the shampoo for just under two weeks now. My first impression of the product was positive. The shampoo bottle looks stylish and feels high-quality, and the dispenser works well. The scent of the shampoo is, in my opinion, very woody and reminds me of resin, which unfortunately was not particularly pleasant to my taste. My hair type is naturally slightly wavy/curly and thin, but the ends are dry and the roots tend to get oily easily. Because of this, I appreciate products that clean effectively without making the hair get oily even faster, so I was interested in testing it, especially since the shampoo promised to increase hair growth even after just ten days. At the beginning of testing, my scalp started to itch quite a bit, but luckily it calmed down after a few uses. The shampoo did not increase the oiliness of my hair during the day, which was a positive surprise. I also noticed that my hair felt noticeably fuller after washing. However, my ends remained drier than usual regardless of conditioner, so leave-in conditioner or hair oil is needed after this, at least for my hair type. Overall, the shampoo left my hair airy and feeling fuller, and it did not increase oiliness, but on the other hand, I did not notice any increase in hair growth. I deduct points for the drying effect on the ends and the scent, which was too strong for my taste. I got to try the iconic serum from #faceformula as #lykotestpilot, and once again their products deliver! My skin totally loves this serum 🌸💕, and before we get into all the benefits, let me tell you a bit about my skin: 💕 Dry patches 💕 Freckles 💕 Red areas in episodes 💕 Fine lines around the eyes 💕 Needs moisture I was unsure whether to give four or five stars, but it ends up being five! The reason for four stars is actually the pump on the bottle; I find it a bit tricky and hard to press down if it’s not seated properly in the bottle. I have to put a finger under the cap and then press to get the product out. But at the same time, the serum gives me so much that it’s worth it 🌸 The serum contains niacinamide and vitamin B12; niacinamide is an ingredient my skin loves and responds well to! I get the feeling that the serum calms my skin, and I suspect that the red areas on one cheek are reduced. Of course, this can be due to other reasons, but I’m still convinced the serum has helped 💕 My skin is dry at its core and really needs products that lock in moisture and provide hydration. I experience an immediate glow from the pink serum that lasts, which indicates the serum does what it promises: locks in moisture 💦💕 The price of Face formula is relatively high but not exorbitant. Lovely serum 💙
As a test pilot, I got to try the Overnight Smoothing Serum and two other products from Face Formula. 🌺 The packaging has a very nice color and beautiful design, I think. Sometimes I do have to press the pump several times before I get any product out, and the packaging feels a bit plasticky. But as mentioned; nice color and design on the packaging! The serum itself is rich and feels creamy, light, and pleasant in texture. The serum contains glycolic acid, which is an AHA acid that exfoliates the skin. It also contains tranexamic acid, glycerin, shea butter, floral water, etc. In other words, it’s a serum that both exfoliates and moisturizes the skin! 💦 The serum should be used in the evening. You can get your skin used to it by using it two to three evenings a week at first, then gradually increase usage. 🩵 It’s important to use sunscreen 🧴 the day after using AHA acids! 🏝️ For reference, I have somewhat dry and very sensitive skin. My skin reacted with a few small pimples at first, but they disappeared quickly. I continued to test the serum occasionally and had no further reactions. I have now used it every evening for a week. I used the serum in the evening after cleansing, toner, a gentler serum, and before my night cream. 🥰 A really lovely serum. 😍 Moisturizes wonderfully. I have tested the serum together with the accompanying shampoo and conditioner in the Pure Grow series for the past two weeks. The serum is liquid with a very pleasant texture. It quickly absorbs into the scalp without leaving a sticky residue that some serums can cause. The hair also doesn’t get greasy from the serum but stays nice until the next wash. I have a dry and sensitive scalp that often reacts to hair products, but with this one, I feel no irritation, which is really nice. My scalp actually feels a bit less dry than usual. The bottle is made of plastic, unlike other hair serums I’ve tested that had glass bottles. It doesn’t feel as luxurious as a glass bottle but is much more practical when you’re a clumsy person who often drops things. This one can fall on the floor without breaking, which is a big plus! For two weeks, I have tested the conditioner in the Pure Grow series along with the accompanying shampoo and serum. The conditioner has the same fresh minty scent as the shampoo, and I like the scent because it is mild and not overpowering. The conditioner itself is really good! After it has been in the hair for two minutes, the hair feels soft and moisturized. It also doesn’t weigh the hair down or make it greasy quickly afterward. The product feels economical, and I don’t need much product at all. The bottle is stylish with its sleek, angular design in blue and white. But it is quite impractical; it keeps tipping over in the shower. However, that’s not the main problem for me with the bottle, it’s the cap. The hole in the cap of the bottle is so incredibly small that it’s almost impossible to get anything out of the bottle. With one hand, it’s completely impossible to get anything out; it’s insanely stiff. I have to use both hands and squeeze hard just to get anything out, and then the problem is that the product ends up on the floor if you’re not very quick. Ideally, you need someone to help squeeze the conditioner out for you. Maybe my conditioner bottle was a Monday model since I didn’t have the same problem with the accompanying shampoo. Smells good
I have now tested Pure Grow shampoo for two weeks. My hair has always been thick and full before. But that changed after my pregnancy, and living with several chronic illnesses obviously affects it as well. I have lost a lot of hair, and it is now more on the thinner side. Therefore, it was a bit extra fun to try this shampoo that promises to awaken tired hair follicles. I haven’t noticed anything from that yet, but I have also only tested it for a short time. It is a nice product! The shampoo smells wonderfully of mint and almost reminds me a bit of mint gum. The consistency is smooth and just thick enough, and it lathers quite a lot. I always wash my hair twice to get it properly clean, and the hair really feels thoroughly clean. No product residue or other “stuff” remains in the hair after washing. The hair feels good after washing; it doesn’t feel dry and stays clean for several days afterwards without feeling dirty or greasy. I find it to be a mild shampoo, as it doesn’t irritate my dry and sensitive scalp at all. It hasn’t itched the least bit after washing with it. The design of the bottle is very nice; it stands out with its flat and somewhat square design compared to all the other bottles in the shower. However, it is unstable and keeps falling over, which is a bit annoying. The cap itself is easy to open and to get the right amount of product out, and it’s easy to do with just one hand. I got to try three products from #lykotestpilot from #faceformula, and this serum is perfect for my skin! First, a little about me: 🩵 33 years old with freckles 🩵 Dry patches 🩵 Fine lines around the eyes 🩵 Easily dull skin 🩵 Easily sunburned I am hooked! The serum feels incredibly nice on the skin and it makes me wake up with a glow in the morning 🧚🏼♀️. I think you can see after using it that my skin looks more glowing and even, and I have only used the serum for about two weeks, which means the serum gives me what I need 🩵🤍. Since it contains AHA, it’s important to use SPF during the day and start using the product gently, but my skin is used to AHA now, so I’ve actually been using it about 4 nights a week. So it’s a serum that should be applied in the evening and work overnight 🌙. The serum’s consistency is thin and it doesn’t smell like anything special, which I like! Face formula is a favorite brand of mine, so I had very high expectations for this product, and it delivered! I like how it clearly states on the bottle when to use it during the day, like with this one: a moon 🌙, and on some products it’s both sun and moon ☀️🌙, which makes it easier to plan your skincare routine 🫶🏼. I can only give the serum five stars as my skin responded so well to the product. I am happy to be #testpilot for this product 🥰 A nice glass packaging that makes it luxurious but a bit bulky if you are traveling. Easy to use but important that you don’t forget to shake the bottle. The consistency is thin and runny but nice to pat into the skin. It has a distinct matcha scent 🌱, so if you are sensitive to herbal scents, there are other options. I have dry and mature skin, so an essence with peptides, soothing ingredients, and exfoliating effect is something I gratefully welcomed. Hyal Foaming Balm is a 2-in-1 cleanser that comes in a practical packaging with a spatula. It foams wonderfully on the face and is easy to rinse off with water. I don't experience any dryness, I feel clean and fresh. When I use toner afterwards, there are no makeup residues, which means it is a really good cleanser. I do not recommend using the cleanser too close to the eyes as I accidentally got some in my eyes and it was quite stinging. I have used it both morning and evening and will continue to do so.
