I have very sensitive skin and easily get pimples and pustules. My entire forehead is covered in pustules and has never looked like this before. Plus, some even hurt, so I have gotten sores from some of them. All of this started when I began using this product. Now it may be that it is like this in the beginning just because I have sensitive skin, so I will give it another chance since I have only tested it for 2 weeks. My Go-To Micellar Water
I was so lucky to receive COSRX's new Micellar Water as a #lykotestpilot 🤩 As a reference, I have combination skin and have really struggled with perioral dermatitis around my mouth in recent months. Oil cleansers can therefore be a bit too heavy, so it was perfect to test the cleansing water from COSRX. The bottle itself is large and holds a lot of product. I was a bit worried that the bottle would leak in my toiletry bag, but it hasn't done that at all 👍🏼 Here are the benefits I've experienced with the product: ⭐️ Effectively removes all makeup, both face and eye makeup ⭐️ Fragrance-free and gentle on the skin, doesn't feel tight afterwards. ⭐️ Doesn't irritate my perioral dermatitis (big plus) ⭐️ Doesn't clog pores ➖ One downside is that the product can sting a bit in the eyes when removing mascara. I use a mascara that is quite difficult to remove (Glöd Volume & Lengthening Mascara) and therefore have to rub a bit to get it off (I even have to do that with oil cleanser). You don't need to cleanse your skin any further after use, but I do it anyway as I like to double cleanse. I had the opportunity to test this micellar water and wow! I have acne-prone skin for reference and am currently taking acne medication that dries out my skin and makes it more sensitive. ✨ My first impression is a sleek bottle with a lot of product in it (!!) I have previously used the slightly cheaper micellar waters from Garnier and was initially skeptical due to the small price difference. 💅🏼 But, incredibly good product. ⭐️ Has no scent and is light and nice on the skin. (In comparison to Garnier, this feels more watery and lighter). ⭐️ Does not clog pores, which is a big plus. ⭐️ Skin feels smooth and not tight at all. ⭐️ The product really does the job and removes all makeup very easily, making it last longer!! The only negative I have to say is that it can sting a little in the eyes when removing eye makeup. The sting is not unbearable and goes away pretty quickly in my opinion, but still worth mentioning. I've seen several people mention this. So, if you're looking for a micellar water that works well for sensitive eyes with eye makeup, this might not be your best friend. Gentle Cleansing
I have been testing this micellar water for a few weeks now and wanted to share how the product has worked for my skin. To give some background, I have combination skin myself, but not particularly sensitive. Normally, I use a water-based gel cleanser (and oil-based first if I’ve worn makeup), and I haven’t used micellar water before. My first impression was that the packaging felt luxurious, and you also get a lot of product in the large bottle. 🎀 My experience has been very positive, I think it delivers on its promises - cleanses gently and suits my combination skin. It has been perfect to use on days when I haven’t worn makeup, but still want a light cleansing that doesn’t dry out. I can find that my regular water-based cleanser dries out a bit, especially during the winter. 💦 It removed makeup well, though it took a bit longer to remove the mascara. Therefore, I prefer to double cleanse with my regular oil-based cleanser when I’ve worn a lot of makeup. But if you’re looking for a gentle cleansing, and maybe don’t wear mascara every day, this does its job! It doesn’t get 5 stars just because it doesn’t remove the mascara as effectively as I expected. A challenger to Garnier..?
I was lucky to get to test this micellar water! I was a bit skeptical about what to expect, as I have tried my share of micellar waters and makeup removers. The product has little to no scent. That's not a problem for me, as long as the product does what it's supposed to. The bottle is solid and has a sleek appearance. It's important to screw the top back on properly after removing the seal, I noticed it leaked a bit. It hasn't happened again after tightening 👌🏼 I wanted to test how it removed mascara first. It absolutely did, easily too, but with accompanying stinging and discomfort in my eyes afterward. Maybe I'm sensitive, but I don't experience that with Garnier. The big plus for me is that it removes skin makeup so effectively and well!!👌🏼☺️ Leaves no residue, and the skin doesn't feel oily or dry. I have rosy cheeks, but this seems to tone that down, that's my impression. Haven't reacted negatively yet, neither acne nor irritation 💫 Here Garnier has a strong competitor! Restless Sleeper Hair Product
I got to test the Kérastase Nutritive line and this is my absolute favorite among them. I love leave-in hair care products, and with the 8H Overnight Serum, I was not disappointed. I am a restless sleeper, and after the very first use, I noticed a difference in the morning as the product protected my hair from friction. My hair gets dry and frizzy in the winter, and in that regard, this product seemed to work excellently. Conditioner is pretty okay, or even okay plus ;)
I received products from the Kérastase Nutritive line to test, and I was maybe a bit skeptical about this product beforehand. I don't usually use rinse-out conditioners very often, as finding suitable products has been difficult. In this case, the good thing was that there wasn't that feeling in the hair that it needed to be rinsed for a really long time.
