Emma S Revitalizing Day Cream
Wow! This cream really exceeds my expectations. My first impression is that the packaging feels luxurious, but I have to deduct a point because the pump function is a bit faulty. The cream has SPF 20, which I think is great since it’s a day cream. It smells lovely and not too strong, and it’s quite light in texture. My normal combination skin usually prefers lighter gel creams, but this one melts so nicely into my skin and gives an incredible GLOW! Nothing negative to say about the cream itself, it’s the packaging that brings the overall score down a bit for me. Soft and lovely cleansing milk
This is a really lovely cleansing milk that leaves the skin clean, soft, and comfortable after use. If it removed all my waterproof mascara, it would be 5 stars. ⭐️ Now it lands at 4 stars. 🧼 Application I apply it on dry skin and then rinse off. You can also leave it on for 1-2 minutes to get a light enzyme peel. It can also be used on a cotton pad to remove makeup and then rinsed off. 🌸 Texture & scent The texture is thin and soft, which makes it easy and pleasant to apply. However, it has a fairly distinct scent that I find hard to pinpoint. I think it leans a bit towards almond. ✨ Result After use, the skin feels really clean, while becoming soft and smooth without feeling dry. I have combination skin and think this works very well for my skin type. 💄 Makeup removal I have also used it to remove makeup and think it works well for most things. However, it doesn’t manage to remove all my waterproof mascara, which is a bit of a shame. 💰 Will I buy it again? I definitely would if it weren’t for the price. My skin looks greasy and crumbly after use
Unfortunately, this is not an SPF product I can recommend – especially considering the high price. Usage: According to the product description, the cream should leave the skin soft, smooth, and pleasantly matte, and it should suit all skin types. It should be applied as the last step in the skincare routine, after moisturizer, in the morning. It is also recommended to reapply the product after activities like sweating, swimming, or drying off with a towel. Texture and scent: The cream has a fairly thick texture when it comes out of the bottle and has a distinct sunscreen scent. My result: For me, the texture is way too thick. The cream needs to be worked in thoroughly to absorb into the skin, but even then, the result is not what I hoped for. My skin becomes greasy, sticky, and crumbly upon application. It also continues to feel greasy on the skin even after several hours. If I rub my face, the product starts to crumble even more. I have tried using it both with and without moisturizer to see if the moisturizer affects the result. My conclusion is that it doesn’t make much difference. Whether I use moisturizer underneath or not, the skin still becomes sticky, greasy, and crumbly. I have also tried applying makeup on top of the SPF, but then the problem becomes even more noticeable because the product crumbles even more. Conclusion: Unfortunately, this is not an SPF I will continue to use, recommend, or buy again. For me, a good SPF should be thin in texture, easy to apply, and quickly absorb into the skin. It should feel light and pleasant without leaving a greasy film – and above all, it should not crumble. Very pleasant cleansing milk
I have tested Face Formula 2 in 1 Refining Cleansing Milk, and I like it very much 🤍 The cleansing milk has a soft and pleasant texture and is completely fragrance-free. It does not foam when massaged into the skin but instead feels creamy and mild. The manufacturer states that it can be used in several ways: as a regular facial cleanser, to remove makeup, or you can leave it on the skin for 1–2 minutes before rinsing off for a mild enzymatic effect. I have also tested it for removing makeup, and it does a very good job. It removes eye makeup well, and after cleansing, the skin feels clean, soft, and comfortable without feeling tight or dry 🥰 The only downside for me is that the product can sting the eyes if it gets directly into them. I experienced that the stinging could be felt for a while afterward. Since the cleansing milk can also be used to remove eye makeup, this is a bit of a drawback for me. The formula contains, among other things, panthenol, allantoin, aloe vera, and bioflavonoids. On the skin, I find it mild and pleasant, and I especially like that the skin feels soft after cleansing without becoming dry. All in all, this is a cleansing milk I really like. It cleans effectively, works well for makeup removal, and leaves the skin soft and comfortable. Brows On Hold Gel after a whole day: Review & result
As a Lyko Testpilot, I received Brows On Hold Gel Transparent from Dashl. Brow gel is a product I haven't used before, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I actually have no complaints about this. Once I got the technique right, my brows stayed nicely shaped all day, and I think the whole face gets a lift and looks more awake. The effect looks natural, the brows don't feel stiff, and the product keeps them in place without flaking. SOS Paste - fantastic!
I am incredibly positively surprised by the SOS Paste from Face Formula! I had an outbreak of perioral dermatitis that had lasted for over 2 months, and after just 3 days with SOS Paste, my skin was incredibly much calmer. 🙌 The skin got a bit dry along the way, but since I was good at adding plenty of moisture, the skin became nice again – almost as if nothing had been there. ❤️ For me, this has truly been a fantastic product, and I am so glad I tried it! Natural lashes without clumps
I got to try this mascara as a Lyko Testpilot. The packaging feels sleek and the mascara itself I find both well-crafted and well-pigmented. It separates the lashes nicely without clumping and gives a natural result. However, I have very short and fragile lashes, so the effect was quite subtle on me. I would have liked to see more volume and lift. Diesel Only The Brave test!
I had the opportunity to test this eau de parfum as a test pilot! I took my partner and our 15-year-old son to help, even our 11-year-old daughter got to join in and smell, but since I am such an incredible scent nerd and love trying new fragrances, I of course had to test it on myself too! My first impression was that the bottle (which is quite different from traditional perfume bottles as it is shaped like a fist) was quite wide and maybe a bit bulky for me to hold, but it worked better for the guys. But I still have to say it’s very cool and looks pretty bold! The scent immediately appealed to me! At first, you notice a fairly light, fresh, and citrusy scent, which then transitions into a warmer, deeper, almost slightly woody scent that feels more masculine and a bit sexy. The scent feels much more luxurious than I expected. On my skin, the scent became a bit sweeter than on the guys. The scent lasts long; I wore it all day in the garden with full sun and warmth. A favorite for me and my boyfriend🥰
I was so lucky to get to test this fragrance as #lykotestpilot. So I chose to let my boyfriend try it. When we opened the package, the first thing I noticed was a feeling of masculinity. The bottle looks so cool and stands out from regular perfume bottles. At the first spray, the scent feels strong and deep, with a hint of citrus. The deep character gave us the impression of a more exclusive perfume. We were both really positively surprised at how pleasant the scent became after it had also been on the skin for a while. It developed in a woody and leathery direction, which also makes it a good choice for late summer and as we head into autumn. I would say it’s quite an "allrounder" perfume that works well both for everyday use and evenings🥰 My boyfriend has tested quite a few men's perfumes over the years, but this is one of his favorites, at least in the somewhat "more affordable" price range. Brutally honest review: The only Diesel I willingly wear ⛽
For the first time ever, I have been chosen to be a #lykotestpilot, and I feel honored by this assignment since I love perfumes and actually own quite a few by now. 😍 When I first heard I was going to test Diesel Only The Brave EdP, I thought: "Oh, Diesel. Then I guess it’s just time to book a service appointment." 🔧 But no.. This is not the diesel that makes the car go forward. This is diesel that makes YOU move forward with a confidence you don’t really have. And I have to say.. I get the name "Only The Brave." ⛽ The scent starts quite fresh with mandarin and lemon, giving that feeling of: "I’ve showered, I have my life together, and I pay my bills on time." Then coriander comes in and makes it a bit spicier and herbaceous. It becomes more like: "Maybe I don’t have my life together, but I have very strong opinions about which olive oil to use." After that, lavender and clary sage make the scent more aromatic and soft. It was around here I started walking around at home like I had a soundtrack. I opened the fridge with confidence. I closed a kitchen drawer with authority. I took out the trash like I was heading to an important board meeting. And the perfume hadn’t even fully settled yet. Because when it lands on the skin, the mocha comes out, and that’s where things happen. It gets warmer, softer, and has a slightly leathery feel. Then the gourmand sweetness arrives, and it’s almost like a leather jacket went on a date with a patisserie. And I’m not saying it should work.. but it does. What I like about it is that it doesn’t try to be some damn flower meadow or three citrus fruits in a spa. It has citrus, spice, herbs, lavender, mocha, and sweetness, and Diesel actually pulls it together into a scent that feels warm, masculine, and confident. For me, it’s primarily an evening scent, for dinner, dates, parties, or when you just need to go to the store to buy charcoal but suddenly feel ready to marinate the meat, light the grill, and take responsibility for the whole neighborhood’s dinner. 🔥 My critique is really two things. First: spray sparingly, because this one is pretty strong. The first time I thought, "I’ll take a few extra, just to be safe." That was a mistake. You don’t need to bathe in it. For me, two to three sprays are more than enough. You really don’t need to establish a new ecosystem. The second thing is that at times it gets a bit too masculine for my personal taste. It has more of a "men’s locker room after a gym session" vibe than what I usually look for in a perfume. And it’s absolutely not because it smells bad, quite the opposite. It’s just not the kind of masculinity I want to wear myself. I’d rather smell like someone who’s worked out.. not the person who owns the gym. 😂 My rating is 4 out of 5. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A nice scent to have in your repertoire and bring out when the occasion calls for a little extra confidence. Only The Brave Eau de Parfum 50 ml
My first impression of the fragrance right after opening the package is masculinity. The color and shape of the bottle highlight the brand's masculine image. The scent is strong and deep at the first spray. It also has a citrusy note. The deep scent gives the impression of a more premium perfume and immediately reminds me of one of my first perfumes (Dior Fahrenheit), which I thought was too mature when I was younger. This time, however, the story is different. I was really positively surprised by how pleasantly the scent softens after being on the skin for a moment. The fragrance develops in a woody and leathery direction, making it a great choice for late summer and autumn. Over the years, I have tried a wide range of different fragrances that I use daily. I have also enjoyed using other scents from this brand, e.g., BAD and Fuel for Life. I like perfumes with a strong scent. This fragrance pleasantly surprised me. I would recommend it to men who have a “more mature” taste and to those who like perfumes with a deep scent. My boyfriend is 25 years old and quite the perfume enthusiast, so we were both curious about this one. The first thing we actually fell for was the bottle. Unlike others, we think the bottle has a fun detail – especially with the Diesel ring around the finger/bottle! My first reaction was “cool,” thanks to that little detail that stood out. When we finally tried the perfume, we immediately thought it smelled really good. It feels fresh but also has a bit more depth after it’s been on for a while. My boyfriend, however, thought it was pretty standard in its scent and not really anything super surprising for someone who has tried a lot of perfumes. I, as the girlfriend, don’t quite agree there. 😅 I’m pretty picky when it comes to men’s perfumes, and I actually think this one smells incredibly good. It’s definitely a scent I’d love to smell on my guy! I’d say this is a really good all-around perfume. It works without any problem for everyday use, but also if you’re going out in the evening. I especially think it suits younger guys who like fresh perfumes and maybe don’t want anything too heavy or sweet. The best rating from me as a girlfriend is probably that I would actually choose this one over many other men’s perfumes! 🙈 My boyfriend recommends it especially for guys who like fresh and standard scents that don’t stand out in any particular way but still smell incredibly good.
