I have used Dermalogica Phyto Nature E2 100 ml daily, both morning and evening, as recommended on the packaging. I have normal skin with few fine lines from before, and have tested the product for a month as part of my skincare routine. First, I want to highlight the packaging. The product comes in a heavy glass bottle that gives a very exclusive and luxurious impression. The product itself has a light texture that absorbs quickly into the skin without feeling sticky. It contains a bit of fragrance, but I found it mild and pleasant. For me, it was never too strong or bothersome. Regarding the results, I have definitely noticed an improvement in my skin. It has become more hydrated, gained a nicer glow, and feels both firmer and more “bouncy.” The skin also appears smoother and more even than before. I think the fine lines I have on my face have become less visible, but since I had quite few fine lines to begin with, it’s hard to say how big the difference actually is after this test period. I believe this is a product that can give even better results with longer use. I also used the product on my neck, where I have a few more fine lines than on my face. There, I actually noticed a clearer improvement in a shorter time. The skin on my neck felt firmer, smoother, and more hydrated, and the lines became less prominent. This was probably where I saw the most visible results. The product promises, among other things, to reduce the visibility of fine lines and wrinkles, increase the skin’s natural cell renewal, and give a smoother, clearer, and more even complexion. Based on my experience, I feel that my skin has become more hydrated, has a more even surface, and a healthier glow. Therefore, several of these claims align well with the results I have experienced myself. The only downside for me is the price. This is an expensive product, and based on the results I got during the test period, I find it hard to fully justify the price. At the same time, I think part of the reason is that my skin already had few fine lines before I started using the product. I therefore suspect that people with more visible signs of aging might experience an even greater effect, and I also believe that longer use can give more noticeable results. Dermalogica Pro-Collagen Banking Water Cream 50 ml
I have tested the Dermalogica Pro-Collagen Banking Water Cream for one month, almost every day. My first impression was very positive; the cream provides plenty of moisture and has a light, water-based gel consistency that absorbs quickly into the skin without feeling heavy or sticky. I have normal skin with very rare breakouts, and this cream worked very well for my skin. It gave a nice, fresh glow and also worked excellently as a base under makeup. The makeup applied nicely and stayed looking good throughout the day. I should also say that it gave the skin a plump finish and contains lots of good ingredients that are supposed to help reduce fine lines, provide good moisture to the skin, and support the skin barrier. Regarding the cream itself, I don’t think it stands out much from other water-based moisturizers on the market. It contains some fragrance, which some people might be sensitive to, but I found the scent mild and pleasant and had no reactions. The only downside for me is that since the cream is so light and water-based, I feel the moisture doesn’t last all day. I therefore had to apply more moisture later in the day than I usually do with richer creams. Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF50
I have used Dermalogica Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF50 daily for four weeks as the last step in my skincare routine. I have normal skin, and for me, this has worked very well both as a day cream and sun protection. The cream has a light and pleasant texture that absorbs quickly into the skin while providing plenty of moisture. The skin feels soft throughout the day, and I find that the moisture lasts a long time without needing to reapply. It also leaves a nice glow that makes the skin look fresh and healthy. I use sunscreen every single day, regardless of the season, so it’s very convenient to have high sun protection in the day cream. The cream has a bit more fragrance than the other Dermalogica products I’ve tested. The scent is still pleasant and not overwhelming, but if you are very sensitive to perfume, it might be worth noting. I found that the product did not clog my pores or cause breakouts. For my normal skin, it worked excellently, but I think it might feel a bit rich or oily for people with very oily skin. The product promises, among other things, to increase skin firmness, elasticity, and moisture levels and reduce the visibility of fine lines after eight weeks of use. I used the product for four weeks, so the test period was shorter than the manufacturer recommends to see full effect. 🙋♀️ About me I have very sensitive, dry to combination skin that is extremely allergy prone. I don’t get many breakouts, usually they’re hormonal or if I eat something greasy. 📦 The packaging When you open the boxed package, the patches are inside two plastic cases. Each one has a plastic sheet where you will find the patches lying on. They’re easy to remove from the sheet. I love that you have different sizes of the patches. 🤔 My opinion This one didn’t work for me (as you can see in the pictures). I kept the patch on for 6 hours and after removing it, I can see that the pimple just got bigger! I tried it again, but I got the same result. 😞 I really like that the patches in the package are different shapes, lined on the plastic sheet from small to big. I think this is great for those who have really big breakouts. I also love that the packaging keeps the patches flat and hygienic for next use. The patch has a matte finish but it’s still a bit visible if you put makeup over it. But honestly, even if you didn’t put makeup on top of it, they are pretty much almost completely invisible (or as invisible as they can be). These are okay. Got to try O’keeffe’s Working Hands Hand Cream as #lykotestpilot and I’m incredibly satisfied! Just like the foot cream, the hand cream is incredibly rich but still not sticky. Absorbs very quickly and provides amazing moisture that lasts. You don’t need to keep reapplying throughout the day because the moisture stays in. Both the hand cream and foot cream are completely fragrance-free, which I know many appreciate, even though I personally prefer a scented one. But that makes it easy to use for everyone! Have tested for a few weeks as #lykotestpilot and am very satisfied! For some background, I have dry feet all year round with hard skin that sometimes cracks. O’keeffe’s Healthy Feet Foot Cream has moisturized these really well! Softened the hard skin, even though there is still a bit left on the heels. What remains is at least moisturized and above all, cracks are a thing of the past. Exciting properties, but my face rejected it immediately
This one is incredibly concentrated and you don’t need much product at all to cover the entire face. Which is a big plus! I absolutely understand the idea that it should exfoliate and renew cells to give the skin a new glow, but unfortunately my skin couldn’t handle it. Every time I applied it, I got an immediate tight, almost burning sensation in my face and the skin turned completely red. I tried to tough it out and reduce usage to just a few times a week, but my skin barrier reacted negatively every time. It gets three stars because the formula feels very advanced and high quality, and it probably works wonders for someone else. But if you know you have sensitive skin and easily react to exfoliation, I’d probably skip this one. Nice gel consistency that unfortunately triggered my skin
This felt so nice at first! I really appreciate the gel consistency, it felt super fresh, cooled pleasantly on the skin, and gave a really nice glow the first few days! At first, I thought I had finally found the perfect product. But then came the setback… After less than a week, my face started to flare up and I got lots of small, itchy irritation spots especially on my forehead, which took quite a long time and a lot of moisture to get rid of after I stopped using it. It’s so frustrating when a product feels so good at first but then just irritates the skin barrier after a while. Dermalogica Pro-Collagen Banking Water Cream
I got the opportunity to test this product and review it. And what I’ve experienced so far with this product is the following: A cooling and light but moisturizing cream due to its light formula. I find it very pleasant to apply, it really feels "watery" and cooling. I received this just in time for a sun holiday. And it’s perfect to apply after a day at the beach to hydrate and cool down the skin. However, I think it’s not quite as moisturizing as I had hoped or as I generally prefer in creams. But for having the light consistency it has, it is moisturizing. On the other hand, it contains essential oils, just like the other products I got to test from Dermalogica. The scent is mild and not overwhelming. But unfortunately, I generally don’t think it belongs in facial products. This is because my skin has struggled with perioral dermatitis before, and essential oils and fragrance can easily trigger it. Lovely protection in theory, but too harsh for my face
I had very high expectations for this because Dermalogica usually delivers good products, and the idea of a day cream that has both anti-age and SPF 50 in one is really optimal! The texture itself is really lovely, it feels luxurious and absorbs nicely into the skin without leaving that typical white, greasy film you usually get from strong sunscreens. But unfortunately, my face reacted quite quickly. After just two days of use, I woke up with red patches, and it stung badly on my cheeks. It's probably the sunscreen filter or some other active ingredient that was just too strong for me. Really liked this moisturizer! The consistency is absolutely lovely. A light gel cream that absorbs quickly into the skin, provides plenty of moisture, and a nice glow. The skin feels well hydrated afterwards, without the cream feeling heavy or sticky. It gets plus points for both anti-aging and good ingredients. The cream smells like many other Dermalogica products, which might be a bit much for some on the face. My skin doesn’t react to it (but it can tolerate a bit). The pump bottle is a fun patent, but I’m curious if there will be product waste when approaching the end of the package or if you get it all out. I have to deduct a bit for the expensive price. I would consider buying this again, but I’m unsure if the price will actually stop me. Beautiful Glow and Even Skin Tone
I have been so lucky to test Phyto Nature, and I just have to say I love it! 💖 This is an exfoliating peel that can be used up to twice daily, but I have only used it in the evening. Despite exfoliating, it feels surprisingly gentle compared to many other peels I have tried. What impressed me the most is that the product gives an amazing glow just after the first use! I really like the gel texture which is light and melts quickly into the skin. So far, I haven’t seen any change in fine lines, but that probably takes longer. Still, I do experience a more even skin tone! I think the price is high, but if it also delivers on signs of aging, I actually think it could be worth the price. Day cream with a nice glow and SPF!
I have tested this cream for a couple of weeks and really like it. I have combination skin and tend to get shiny in the T-zone, which I also experience with this one after a few hours – but that happens with most SPF creams. The cream is light but takes a little time to work into the skin. But once absorbed, it melts in nicely and gives a very nice glow. It also works great under makeup and blends very well with the CC cream I usually use. A plus is the anti-age effect, although I haven’t seen any visible results after just a couple of weeks of use. It has a fresh scent like most other Dermalogica products. It doesn’t bother me, but I know some people think facial products shouldn’t have so much perfume. Minus for the price. I think there are other good day creams with SPF at a lower price point. As a test pilot here at Lyko, I have had the chance to try this and two other products from Dermalogica over a few weeks. I have had the honor of testing this product for a few weeks. Really exciting! The bottle feels luxurious, and the lotion is light in texture. It’s not like a gel but somewhat in that direction. At first, it feels a bit sticky in texture, but it’s not much and it doesn’t bother. This lotion is easy to apply thanks to the pump bottle, and it absorbs quickly into the skin. I have noticed that it seems to make my skin plumper and smoother. The skin feels incredibly soft and gets a really nice glow and texture when I use this. I use it morning and evening, and it works great under makeup! It looks really nice under makeup. I feel that it makes my skin look younger and fresher. I have combination/normal skin, but I haven’t noticed any skin irritations when using this product. It simply feels wonderful on the skin! The scent isn’t the very best; I find it a bit strong. It’s not a bad scent, but I think it’s a little different. I don’t have visible wrinkles, but I haven’t noticed any major difference in my fine lines. At least not yet. I had the opportunity to try and review this lovely serum from #dermalogica. At the first pump, I immediately felt that the texture is the type of serum I like. It has a slightly loose gel-like consistency. It arrived just in time for a sunny vacation, so I apply it in the evening after a day in the sun to restore moisture, support the skin’s cell renewal, and also in the morning. It’s a pity that it contains essential oils. Like other products from Dermalogica, essential oils are used in the formula, which unfortunately contributes to skin irritation. The scent is mild and not overwhelming in any way. But unfortunately, I generally don’t think it belongs in facial products. This is because my skin has struggled with perioral dermatitis before, and essential oils and fragrance can easily irritate. So far, it hasn’t caused any irritation from the oils. I think the skin feels smooth and soft. But reducing fine lines probably requires continuous long-term use. I look forward to seeing what it can do for my signs of aging in the long run. I have fine lines that I would like to smooth out and reduce. But the price is high, and I’m unsure if it’s worth the money to buy another one. I have now tested this day cream, which also contains sun protection, for a few weeks. I was positively surprised by this product as it really softens the skin and makes it look so smooth and nice! The cream is light and nice, it absorbs quickly into the skin and leaves no greasy residue on my combination/normal skin. The container itself is also very light and convenient to carry in a bag. I have used this under makeup and it works perfectly, it doesn’t feel sticky at all. Some other sunscreens can get a bit oily or sticky under makeup, but not this one. I also haven’t noticed any risk of sunburn when using the cream. It’s very easy to apply the cream via the pump function, which I really appreciate! I also think it smells really good, not like a typical sunscreen but more fresh and refreshing. However, it is expensive, so for the amount you get, it can become quite costly if you need to buy this cream multiple times. Then I can still imagine that there are cheaper alternatives that are just as good. Exfoliation and Luxury
I have been lucky enough to be a test pilot for this luxurious Dermalogica. Here comes the review of Dermalogica’s “Phyto Nature,” which is a leave-on exfoliation to be used twice daily. 🧼 🌗 My skin is not in its best condition at the moment. I have pollen allergies that usually can negatively affect my skin this time of year, making it extra sensitive. 🌱 Otherwise, I would describe it as combination skin that easily gets clogged pores. I used this product morning and night for two weeks and loved the texture and thought the size of my pores decreased. But then the skin on my forehead started to get clogged pores, and I read that the ingredients in this exfoliation could irritate skin that doesn’t tolerate oils. I had to take a break and use it once daily, which calmed the skin somewhat. But it was lovely in the evenings when removing makeup to feel dead skin cells rolling off. Day Cream with SPF and Anti-Age
I have been lucky to be a test pilot for some luxurious products from Dermalogica. Here is my review after a few weeks of using Dynamic Skin - Recovery SPF50 50 ml. 🤍 Before I read about the product, it seemed like a great day cream with SPF and its anti-age properties. I have a bit of trouble with sunscreens that are too greasy since I have acne-prone skin, so my T-zone gets oily easily. This is a skin cream with SPF, so it’s not something I would use all day in the sun as I burn easily and it needs to be reapplied often and in larger amounts, but definitely for everyday use. ☀️ The skin gets a nice glow, no whitecast but the formula is a bit too greasy for me. I have tested Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF50 throughout the test period, and it has quickly become one of my favorite products in my morning routine! 🥰 The first thing I noticed was how light and pleasant it feels on the skin. Despite being a sunscreen with SPF50, it absorbs incredibly quickly without feeling heavy or sticky. I also experience no “whitecast,” which is very important. The skin looks immediately fresh, healthy, and glowing after application. ✨ I’m in my late 20s and very focused on products that both protect the skin and provide plenty of moisture. My skin thrives best when it’s well hydrated, and this cream really delivers on that. It provides long-lasting moisture throughout the day while the skin feels soft, comfortable, and balanced. 💛 One thing I especially like about the product is that it combines high sun protection with skin-caring ingredients. It protects against UV rays while working on the skin’s firmness, elasticity, and moisture level. Ingredients like palmitoyl tripeptide-5 help support collagen production, making the product feel like both skincare and sun protection in one. ☀️✨ The result for me has been skin that looks more glowing, plump, and healthy. In fact, I would describe this as “glass skin in a bottle”! 😍 The skin gets a beautiful glow without becoming oily, and makeup also applies very nicely on top. I also like the mild and pleasant scent, which makes the product extra nice to use every morning. Dermalogica Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF50
I got the opportunity to try and review this day cream with SPF 50. The consistency is perfect. I really like this type of cream. It is soft and a little bit oily in texture but leaves a natural glow. It arrived just in time for a sun vacation, so I apply this in the morning before sun exposure and supplement after a few hours with regular sunscreen. I have not yet experienced any sign of burning when I have only had this on my face. It feels very comfortable on the skin, provides good moisture and good SPF. However, it is a pity that it contains essential oils and "fragrance". The scent is mild and reminds a bit of tea and is really not overwhelming in any way. But unfortunately, I generally don’t think it belongs in facial products. This is because my skin has struggled with perioral dermatitis before, and essential oils and fragrance can easily trigger it. The price is a bit high. There are other creams that give a similar feeling at a lower price. But this one is supposed to be deeply effective and counteract breakdown in the skin.
