Test pilot - new favorite!
I had the luxury of testing this perfume as a test pilot. The first spray made me a bit nervous as it smells very floral, but once it settled, the vanilla comes forward and the floral tones are toned down. It became a soft scent, not at all as strong as you first get scared of. If you’ve also sprayed a little on your clothes, it smells fantastic; if there’s a blouse hanging in the room, it smells like vanilla when you walk by. I’ve received quite a few compliments for this as I also wear it daily, will definitely buy it when this runs out. This foaming cleanser was perfect for my sensitive skin! The foam melts into the skin and leaves a fresh feeling when washed off. I find that my skin feels extremely clean and fresh afterwards. Really good mousse 🤩
I’ve had the honor of testing Fiber Foam as #lykotestpilot for a few weeks, and I have to say I’m really impressed. I have long, dry, and frizzy hair that tends to stick out in all directions. Since I don’t usually use many styling products, I was a bit unsure if this mousse would suit me, but it really surprised me positively. Something I really like about the product is that it contains heat protection so you can blow-dry your hair right away. I also like that the mousse contains nourishing ingredients, which is a big plus for my dry hair. At first, it was a bit hard to know how much product to use. The first time I used way too much, but after a while, all the product absorbed without the hair feeling sticky. What I like most is that the mousse helps tame frizz and gives the hair a nice texture without it feeling stiff or heavy. The hair still feels soft and natural, which is important to me since I usually don’t like the feeling of styling products in my hair. Good perfume but no special scent
I wanted to be a test pilot for this perfume so my brother, who had been nagging about a new perfume, could try it. I myself tried mixing the perfume to see if it was possible to make it unisex as well, and this is how I experienced it. When we first opened the perfume, we were both impressed by the simple yet elegant design. It looks and feels like the bottle is made of real glass and not hard plastic. The design easily makes you want to try it, so I immediately had high expectations.🤩 When we tried the perfume, it had a not too strong but clear men's scent. Both my brother and I recognized the scent; my brother felt it was extremely similar to the Axe brand scent, and I completely agreed. It's a scent you recognize, which makes it not so unique or special. I myself had no expectations of what it might smell like but had hoped for a slightly more unique scent.🌸 My brother, even though he likes the scent, described it as an older man's scent. For that reason, he wouldn't want to use it much more. I also experimented a bit with the scent and tried mixing it with other women's perfumes with roughly similar scent bases. I did this to see if it could be used as a unisex perfume if mixed. The result was not very successful. Both my brother and I love perfumes and spend time finding perfumes we think are really good and pleasant. My brother often chooses perfumes based on the season, and right now it's summer season, and he wants a summer perfume. In the end, this was not a new hit for either me or my brother. The perfume has no unique scent, and according to my brother, it suits older men better. The perfume itself was very good, it smelled nice and had good longevity. It could last practically all day and still smell like perfume. The scent is quite strong but not too strong. It is strong enough that you could smell it through the other perfumes I mixed it with. For that reason, I would also say it's hard to combine this to get a unisex perfume without it basically only working as a men's perfume. Is it worth the money? If you know the typical Axe scent and like it, then YES. I was really excited to see if this formula could make a difference! The texture itself is magical – the spray feels completely invisible and feather-light when applied to dry hair. It leaves absolutely no stiff, sticky, or powdery feeling, but tames frizz immediately and gives a really nice texture. Best mousse I've tried
I got to be #testpilot for this product for a few weeks, and with that, I got to try a fiber mousse for the first time. An extra plus that got me excited was that it contains heat protection. The reason I hadn't tried fiber mousse before or am a frequent user of regular mousse is that I don't like the product feel in my hair. My hair easily gets frizzy, dry, and has a lot of baby hairs on top. I usually style my hair but rarely use styling products. I was positively surprised by this mousse; it was a bit hard to know how much product to put in my hand. The first time, it was a bit too much, but after that, I got a feel for how much I needed. Everything you could wish for
I have had the honor to be a #testpilot for this product for a few weeks and I am so happy about it because I have found a new favorite product. I would say my hair is normal thickness, gets frizzy easily, has a lot of baby hairs, and is always styled. My references when it comes to hair products are that even though I style my hair, I touch it a lot and like to be able to brush through it with my hands without it sticking or becoming difficult due to stiffness from products. This texture spray really gives a wow lift to the hair, it adds volume both in height and thickness. BUT the most important thing – it doesn’t get stiff or give a product feeling in the hair. It promises an ultra-light spray that gives instant volume and should provide hold without feeling sticky. It should also add moisture, protect against humidity, UV rays, and color fading MY EXPERIENCE BASED ON WHAT IT PROMISES: I love texturizing sprays and usually choose them over a heavy hairspray. However, I wouldn’t say it’s ultra-light compared to my favorite from Living Proof. This one is heavier while I feel it gives much more volume than the one from Living Proof. It doesn’t leave any sticky feeling behind 💚 The hold isn’t as long-lasting as a hairspray, but I still think it leans more towards a hairspray (which also adds volume) than an ultra-light texture spray, so you can relate to the feeling in your hair after use. I have frizzy hair and don’t think it does much to directly counteract that, so it’s hard for me to judge if it’s my hair or if it simply doesn’t. A totally okay spray, but considering the price, I’ve still found budget alternatives that give similar results to this one. Pretty okay!
This product is supposed to give volume, fullness, and hold, and it also provides natural UV protection, which means it also preserves color. Additionally, it is enriched with a lot of good ingredients that are meant to boost the hair and add shine. The description says to use an amount the size of a tennis ball, and that’s what I did the first time. However, that was too much for my hair since it’s very sticky in texture, and I quickly realized I needed to use much less! I was a bit worried it would leave a greasy residue when I started using it because it’s very sticky when it comes out. It didn’t, the product absorbed into my hair quite quickly! It definitely gives volume, I notice it when I use it and when I don’t. However, I wouldn’t say it’s a long-lasting result; it holds well right after styling but not so that I feel the volume the next day. A little about me: I love perfumes of all kinds, especially those that smell lovely and last all day! This perfume smells very mild and pleasant and lasts all day. A great gift for the younger generation, who might be trying perfume for the first time! However, neither I nor my partner (who tested the perfume) find it particularly interesting or distinctive. It doesn’t smell very exciting or much at all. The packaging is sleek and high quality but also a bit boring. I actually preferred the design of the box the perfume came in! Overall, it feels more like a perfume suited for a younger user or someone who doesn’t want a strong or noticeable scent. My partner was a bit disappointed, preferring perfumes he already has from Rituals or The Body Shop, which were cheaper. Okay, this one took me straight back to my youth! 😍 Fierce Confidence smells clean, fresh, and a bit sporty, but at the same time has a warm undertone that makes it very pleasant to wear. This is the kind of scent that feels "easy to like," and it works for both work, everyday, and a night out. Even though it’s marketed towards men, I think this is a really good unisex fragrance. It’s fresh without being too masculine, so it works for both women and men! The best thing about this perfume, though, is the nostalgia factor. Fantastic serum!
I usually have dry and sensitive skin, so I tend to be careful with new products. But this serum really surprised me! Already after the first use, my skin felt very hydrated and soft. Plus, I got a lovely glow. I experience no irritation or "sticky" feeling even though the serum has a slightly richer texture; it melts into the skin and leaves it hydrated and fresh. I also appreciate that the bottle is transparent, making it easy to see both the contents and how much product is left. Regarding the scent itself, I found it classic and masculine. It doesn't feel particularly unique or like a typical signature scent that you immediately recognize on someone passing by. However, that's not a negative. On the contrary, it has a very fresh and pleasant character that suits many occasions. At the first spray, I found the scent quite strong and intense, which made me a bit hesitant. After about 5-10 minutes, the experience changed significantly. The scent softened, became fresher, and gave a feeling of being freshly showered. For me, it is associated with summer, sunny days, and light clothing. It gives an energetic and fresh feeling that makes it perfect as an everyday perfume during the warmer months. I know some perceive it as unisex, but for me, it clearly leans towards the masculine side. Both my husband and I have used the perfume, but it is mainly him who has continued to use it. He also shares my view that it is a very nice and well-balanced scent. The less positive part is the longevity. Both my husband and I experienced that the scent disappeared relatively quickly. I haven’t tried a texture spray before, so it was extra fun to get to try this one! 😍 The packaging of this texture spray is a nice and simple design that feels professional. It smells a bit like a traditional hairspray. I was so pleasantly surprised when I tried this product because it really is an all-in-one product! A serum that really soothes the skin, gives it radiance, and protects the barrier! You can't help but comment on the color since it's so insanely lovely, fun to have a bit of a different color in skincare 😍 Love the dropper for dosing, and you get just the right amount with each application. A really good product!
A bit about my hair: Thick Frizzy Wavy I think the packaging has a nice and simple design that feels professional. The fiber foam smells fruity and fresh (a bit like the green Garnier Fructis) 💚 I applied this to towel-dried hair, and when applying the product it felt a bit sticky, so I was afraid it would leave a product feel which I don’t like, but that was absolutely not the case with this one! Really 0 product feel once it had dried in, big big plus! ⭐️ I found it easy to apply evenly through the hair. I’ve tested the product in a few different ways but when I tried blow-drying my hair upside down as it says on the bottle, WOW and OH did it give volume, YES IT REALLY DID 🦁 also helped a lot with my flyaways! I think this cleanser is very gentle and effective! Removes all my makeup and SPF 👏 I now use a very light makeup daily, which might also contribute to me feeling that the cleanser is very effective. It leaves the skin clean and with a lovely glow ✨ I find the mousse/foam really nice to apply on the face. Easy to wash off. Besides the cleanser itself being good, it has lots of nourishing properties, it binds moisture in the skin and strengthens the barrier 💪, reduces redness and balances the skin! As a #lykotestpilot, I had the opportunity to try Fierce Confidence Eau de Cologne from Abercrombie & Fitch. The first thing that caught my attention was the packaging.
