I have been testing Schwarzkopf Professional Osis Curl Souffle for a couple of weeks. A mousse that is supposed to improve bounce, elasticity, moisture, and definition. Heat protection up to 230 degrees🌸 My hair is colored, curly, frizzy, and dry at the ends. I have used this product on damp hair. Have tried both blow-drying with a diffuser and letting it air dry. For my hair, the best result is without blow-drying💓 I don’t quite get this product to work with my hair. I get more defined curls that hold well. But unfortunately, I don’t think it removes frizz or restores moisture. This product has its advantages, but it doesn’t live up to my expectations. I think this shower mousse is pretty okay. The texture is very soft and lovely, and you feel properly clean afterwards. The biggest plus for me is that it smells good and that the scent actually lasts quite a while after the shower. I definitely prefer that over products where the smell disappears immediately. Citrus, spa and very strong!
I got to try these scent sticks and have mixed feelings! On one hand, the bottle is incredibly sleek and nice to have out, and the scent itself is super fresh. It leans towards citrus and spa, The problem is just the strength. It is extremely strong. I think in a way it's good that a product actually does its job and gives a lot of scent for the money, but here it unfortunately became too much of a good thing. My partner thought it was way too intense and even got a headache from it. To each their own! A tip might be to only use one or two sticks, but for me the rating lands at a two because it was too strong – but again mixed feelings, you still want the scent to last? I have tested this multifunctional spray from Schwarzkopf Professional for a couple of weeks. It is supposed to protect hair from pollution, moisture, and heat up to 230 degrees🌸 My hair is colored, curly, and frizzy. It often lacks shine and is very dry at the ends. Nice packaging and good nozzle. My first impression when I was going to use the product was unfortunately the very strong scent. It smells like hairspray used to. Hard to describe. I have used this product on both damp and dry hair. Mostly as heat protection. But it also works as a refresher between washes. It makes the hair less frizzy and the hair feels smoother and shinier. I want to describe it as a dry treatment in spray form💓 It has really lived up to my expectations. Works great as heat protection. Gives hair life and shine between washes. If you are sensitive to strong scents, you should probably skip this spray. It is precisely the strong scent that lowers the rating by one star for me. Didn't clean almost any of my makeup
🙋♀️ I have very sensitive, dry to combination skin that is extremely allergy prone. I also have some fine lines around my eyes and sun spots on my cheek bones. 📦 The packaging This cleanser comes in pump dispenser. I like this since I know how many pumps I need to efficiently clean my whole face. It's very easy to get the product out from the packaging. 👀 The texture and looks The cleanser has a creamy but runny consistency (hard to explain). It's very lightweight. The consistency is like someone watered down a cream. It is milky in color and it mildly soaps up when mixed with hands and later with water. 👃 The smell There's a scent to this cleanser, but I cannot say what it is. It's not unpleasant and it doesn't linger on the skin. For me it reminds me of some cream but I have no idea which one. 🤔 My opinion As you can see on the pictures I did a cleansing test on my arm. This is a gentle cleanser and it didn't do the job very well. A lot of the makeup was still left after I used A LOT of the cleanser. Not to mention it even transfered some makeup and glitter on my other arm that I used to rub the cleanser into the skin. I didn't even use any waterproof makeup so I'm very disappointed with the results. I used this as a 1st cleanser or my only cleanser in the morning and evenings when I didn't wear makeup. It worked OK then. It didn't cause any dryness or tightness of my skin after I used it. I felt like my skin was hydrated after using it. So that was a plus. In summary, this is a cleanser you can use if you're not wearing any makeup. It will keep your skin hydrated but it won't do anything if you have any makeup. I think it would work best as a 2nd cleanser though since it isn't efficient at removing almost any of the makeup. Fits well!
I myself very rarely get pimples or blemishes on my skin. But just when I received these, I happened to get one. So I have tested them both on myself and on my son, who is a teenager now and has a lot of pimples. We have only tried patches from another company before, and those are really good. So these had a bit to live up to. The first thing you notice is that they are quite hard to get out of their packaging. I don’t know how many I’ve gotten half out that then stuck together and couldn’t be separated, so I had to throw them in the trash. Once you get them fully out, they are easy to apply on the pimple and then they stick really well. They hold up through workouts, swimming, and even in this heat without coming off. I tried putting makeup over the one I had, but it didn’t work so well. The patch was hard to hide with foundation and it actually felt like it was even more visible. My son, who doesn’t wear makeup, liked that they were barely visible to the naked eye when he wore them. However, they are not very effective on the pimple itself and don’t make it disappear faster like we’ve experienced with others we’ve tried. But they do prevent you from picking at the pimple, which is good. You get many patches in the package at a reasonable price, so I still think they are affordable even though they aren’t as effective as I had hoped. Doesn't suit my sensitive skin!
Cetaphil's Daily Defence Moisturiser is a thicker day cream that is supposed to work excellently on sensitive skin. My skin is dry and sensitive, often reacting with eczema and irritated skin. Therefore, I had high hopes that this day cream would suit my skin well. The cream is quite thick in consistency and takes some time to absorb into the skin. My skin feels moisturized after applying it, and I don't get that feeling of dryness or tightness that I sometimes get with less moisturizing creams. It also gives a nice glow to the skin. The cream stings quite a lot in the eyes if you accidentally get it too close to them. My skin also reacts with eczema around the eyes, and the only thing I've changed is this cream, so I'm sure it's the cause. So for sensitive skin, I don't think it works at all. I've tested it under foundation, and it works well if you only have this underneath. But if I apply my usual sunscreen on top, my foundation pills. This doesn't happen with just the sunscreen alone, but these two together don't work. I appreciate that it has sunscreen in it, even though it's not enough for me since I always use a specific sunscreen as well. I also appreciate that it's fragrance-free and doesn't smell like anything. The tube is handy, takes up little space, and stands firmly in the bathroom cabinet. The lid is also handy and easy to open. Unfortunately, it wasn't a hit for me, and I won't repurchase it. Very greasy cream

It's easy to get the cream out like this. 👀 The texture and looks The cream is white in color. It is thick and greasy in consistency. It's easy to spread it. 👃 The smell The cream has a mild smell of sunscreen. It's not unpleasant or very powerful. The smell does not linger on the skin. 🤔 My opinion As with similar products like this one that I have tested, I was not a fan. The greasyness of this cream made me not like it. My skin just doesn't absorb these kind of products so the level of oil just sits on top of my skin for hours. Making me look sweaty, shiny and oily. Not to mention, my hair sticks to my face, my glasses slide of my nose and it's basically impossible to have makeup on. I am not a fan of oily products for my skin (that includes sunscreens). And when a cream is only SPF30 that means I need to add another sunscreen on top of it or I will burn and end up looking like a lobster. 🦞 With already greasy product just lying on my skin, adding another sunscreen on top of that is a horror show. It will also leave white cast unless you really rub it around. I short, this is not a product for me. Nothing wrong with the cream, it's just not right cream for my skin type. I have been using this cleanser for about three weeks now and I really like it. I have sensitive skin and my hormonal breakouts usually look like the pictures above 🥲. I am always careful when trying new cleansers. Many make the skin feel dry and tight afterwards, but this one doesn’t at all 💃🏻. The skin feels clean, soft, and hydrated after every wash. I’ve noticed that my pimples have calmed down and that I don’t get as many new breakouts. It has also helped reduce redness a bit, which is a big plus for me. I like that it is so mild and that it doesn’t contain any strong fragrance. It feels nice to use both in the morning and evening and works well with the rest of my skincare routine. What I first reacted to was that it didn’t foam up at all, but gradually I still thought the cleanser worked despite the texture 🫶🏼. If you’re looking for a simple and gentle cleanser that does the job without irritating the skin, I definitely think this one is worth trying. I have had the honor from Lyko to test this setting spray as #lykotestpilot. First and foremost, how beautiful isn’t it with all the shimmer in the packaging??😍 I really like the packaging, it feels sturdy and not cheap, it sprays a nice and even layer on the skin that absorbs quickly! You really get a fantastic glow from this setting spray. Up close, however, you can see that there are tiny little shimmer particles and not just glow, which is not something I personally mind but I think could be a dealbreaker for many. Affordable!!
I had the honor from Lyko to test this primer as #lykotestpilot. This primer is very sticky, which makes the rest of the makeup set on the skin. Since it is so sticky, I find it easier to dab it into the skin instead of spreading it out. I think I see a big improvement when it comes to the longevity of my makeup, I work at a spa where it’s warm and humid, but my makeup still lasts a full 8 hours when I use this primer! I love that the packaging has the combination of tube+pump, which makes it possible to get all the product out of the packaging when it starts to run out. In summary, I think the elf powergrip + 4% niacinamide primer is definitely worth its price and I will 100% buy it again when it runs out. I’ve been so lucky to test the Powergip Primer + Niacinamide 24 ml from #elfcosmetics as #lykotestpilot 🤩 It has been part of my regular makeup routine the past month 💅🏼 This primer isn’t an immediate favorite for me. Not because there’s anything wrong with the product, but more due to my own preferences. I’m not a fan when things feel sticky to apply. Also, I like things to go quickly in the morning, so I use my hands to apply the base of my makeup. It can be a bit tricky to wash it off my fingers afterwards. I have been so lucky to test the Power Grip Rose Setting Spray from #elfcosmetics as #lykotestpilot 🤩 It has been part of my regular makeup routine for the past month 💅🏼 Anything pink and glittery definitely catches my attention! ✨ This setting spray has, in my eyes, a very mild rose scent. I think the scent is just how it should be, as I personally prefer not to have too many different scents at once. It’s easy to apply and gives a nice little layer of glow when sprayed. Affordable and sticks well to the skin
I got these in a kit when I became a test pilot for Cetaphil. I am now 60+ with mature skin without pimples, but my daughter has acne-prone skin and occasionally gets a few pimples, so I asked her to try these. Here is her review: I have tried several pimple patches and am not the biggest fan as I think they promise more than they deliver. I tried these overnight and what I like is that they came in several different sizes and they stuck well to the skin. The morning after, nothing noticeable had happened to the active pimples. Curl Soufflé
After I learned that I have wavy to curly hair, I have really tried to highlight this in the best possible way. I have now tested quite a few curl creams, gels, and mousses, but still haven't found my favorite. I was therefore very excited about this one. It is a vegan mousse that is supposed to enhance curls and give more volume, add shine, and protect against frizz, moisture, and heat up to 230 degrees. My first impression was that this sprays out the mousse very poorly. A bit like a cream jar that is about to run out. But I managed to get out a golf ball-sized amount and applied it to the lengths and roots. I scrunched my hair a bit to enhance waves, but not too much as I don't want too many curls. Then I let it air dry. This mousse gives volume! I very rarely have much luck with mousse for my hair, as they usually give too much volume and just create a fluffy and frizzy mess. Unfortunately, that also happened with this one. It enhanced some waves, but it was too frizzy for my taste. I also didn't like the feeling of this in the lengths of my hair. It felt a bit like saltwater spray, so a bit tired. I tried applying this to the roots before blow-drying instead, and it gave nice volume at the roots and some hold. Super Shield
I had basically given up on heat protectant sprays that you can use on dry hair, as I always found that they either made the hair too wet or were terribly sticky. That was until I tried this one! ❤️ I sprayed this on freshly washed dry hair before using heat tools, mostly a curling iron. It sprays a smooth and fine mist and doesn’t make the hair wet or sticky! The only thing I noticed was to be careful not to spray too much, as the hair can get a bit heavy. This really makes my hair silky soft and shiny. Unfortunately, it didn’t give any hold to my curls when using the curling iron, but when using a straightener, I experienced more shine and longer hold. If I have to say something negative, it’s that the scent of this reminds me a bit of Elnette hairspray, and I’m not especially fond of that. But I don’t find that the scent lingers throughout the day. Nothing special really but it works
It's a good cleanser but nothing special really. It's a bit more runny than I'm used to, doesn't smell like anything special. However, I think it's gentle on the skin and I haven't gotten any pimples or reactions from it so far.
