Heat protection in a leave-in? Yes, please!
I was tasked with testing this leave-in from UNOVE & here is my opinion: šBackground: Dry, damaged (starting to get better) & curly hair. Always had very thin hair too & barely any volume. šFirst impression: Love that it has heat protection, perfect since I like to blow-dry my hair dry for more volume. This has the same consistency as the hair mask & I admit I accidentally took a bit too much once so had to wash my hair again (š¤£). So if you have a similar hair type as me, a little goes a very long way. The scent is amazing & the packaging is gorgeous! šMy opinion: I like it. I think itās fantastic that it has heat protection & then I donāt need much, so it will last a long time. Feels so soft & smooth afterwards. As a #lykotestpilot, I had the opportunity to try products from UNOVE. I have shoulder-length hair that is often styled with heat tools, which makes it prone to damage. I used this product in combination with shampoo and hair mask from the same brand. It has a sleek tube design, and the same scent as the shampoo runs through the entire series. The product is meant to nourish and strengthen the hair and also offers heat protection (up to 200 Ā°C). I must admit that the thick, somewhat sticky texture made me skeptical at first, but it spreads easily in damp hair, doesnāt weigh it down, and leaves the hair with nice elasticity. I was happy to get #lykotestipilot tina to try out #unove the product line! At first glance, I noticed the design of the product line. Matte packaging with a beautiful color scheme. The scent is unique and floral but not too strong, which I like. The leave-in conditioner has a thick cream consistency. A small amount really was enough for long hair. I have tested the product with different amounts, sometimes on wetter and sometimes on drier hair, sometimes less and sometimes more. When wet, the ends feel soft but when the hair dries, the ends become a bit heavy and tangled. My hair is bleached and naturally wavy. The result is often frizzy after showering and the ends tangle easily without the right products. So they can be tricky. In the picture, I first blow-dried and then straightened my hair to see how the product works with styling tools. As you might notice from the picture, the ends donāt look very smooth or soft. Iām growing out my hair, so Iām careful to use hair products that moisturize and repair the ends best. The bottle is convenient, in a nicely sized pump bottle. The packaging is slightly translucent, so itās easy to see how much product is left. I also like the color scheme and scent of the product line. The shampoo has a light and runny consistency. Usually, repairing shampoos are thick and wash poorly, so this was a pleasant surprise. The shampoo smells wonderful, foams easily, and feels airy. It noticeably smooths the ends. However, for oily scalp, this alone is not enough. I do a double wash on my scalp, first using this and then a slightly deeper cleansing shampoo. When I use this in the first wash, it nicely protects the ends from the drying effect of the deeper cleansing shampoo. My hair is bleached and naturally wavy. The result after showering is therefore frizzy, and the ends tangle easily without the right products. My scalp, on the other hand, gets oily easily. Good cleansing without drying out
I had the honor of receiving the #dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel along with some of their other products and have tested them together. This gel has a very subtle and fresh scent and comes in a large package that is easy to use. The cleanser has a gel consistency that foams lightly when mixed with water. It feels fresh on the skin and cleans effectively without being too harsh. Afterwards, the skin feels clean and soft, not tight. The fact that the skin does not feel tight and dry is a big advantage for me as I have dry skin. Therefore, I can feel clean without any discomfort. After using the cleanser for a while, I am satisfied with this product and think it works well as a cleanser without drying out the skin. I had the honor of receiving #dermalogica Dermalogica Biolumin-C Serum along with some of their other products and have tested them together. I was in great need of a serum and was therefore so happy to receive this product. My first impression was how luxurious the packaging was. The serum comes in a glass bottle which is well protected inside a nicely designed box. The serum has a light texture that quickly absorbs into the skin and feels smooth to apply. One dropper is enough for the entire face and neck. The skin feels moisturized and gets a lot of glow immediately after application. However, the scent was a big downside for me. The scent is not too strong but doesnāt smell particularly fresh in my opinion and affects the experience for me. Thanks to the strong absorption into the skin, the scent disappears quickly. A serum requires more time to see results but the radiance and glow I have gotten have been perfect for me and I look forward to continuing to use this product. I have had the honor of receiving #dermalogica Daily Microfoliant along with some of their other products and have tested them together. I was very curious to try this product. What immediately caught my interest was that it is an exfoliant in powder form, which feels a bit different compared to regular scrubs. The first impression was that it felt gentle and easy to use. The product feels very mild on the skin but still effective. You activate it by rubbing the powder in your own wet hands. Then the powder foams up but still retains some grains that help exfoliate. After the first use, the skin already felt more radiant. I have dry skin type and therefore prefer exfoliating products that you wash off and do not stay on the skin. Therefore, this type of mild exfoliation suited me very well. After these weeks of use, my skin has neither become irritated nor dried out, which makes this product perfect for daily use. I have used this 2-3 times a week instead of daily, since I have sensitive skin. It works well as a powder that dissolves in water, but it is important to rub it well between your palms until the grains are completely dissolved and turn into foam. I have relatively young skin without obvious wrinkles, scars, or sun damage, so not the classic need for a vitamin C serum. The cleanser cleans so well that I have stopped using oil cleansing in addition. The skin feels neither irritated nor dry afterwards. Mild exfoliation that gives glow
I had quite high expectations for Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant, precisely because itās supposed to be so mild that it can be used daily. Unove - Heat Guard Leave-In Treatment
I have had the honor of being #lykotestpilot for three products from @Unove, the last one being the leave-in treatment. š©µ The treatment has the same scent as the hair mask, and I am incredibly happy about that because as the last step in my hair care routine, I scream with joy. Having my hair smell so good and the scent lasting is amazing! š I used a very small amount since I have very thin hair, so this will last me a long time. I have started blow-drying my hair after every wash because I love the feeling and that I get much more volume in my hair. I have had the honor of being #lykotestpilot for three products from UNOVE, next up is the hair mask! š©· This one has a different scent than Tender bloom but like the shampoo, I think it smells just as good. Not too strong at all but incredibly fresh. Large packaging but a little goes a long way here. š I like that you only need a small amount which makes it very economical.
