Good but…
As a #lykotestpilot, I had the chance to test three products from #drceuracle, and I have used them for almost three weeks. I have combination skin and use active ingredients in my skincare routine daily. Since I already use retinol regularly, I chose to pause my usual serum during the test period to give this product a fair chance. My first impression was very positive – the packaging is really cute! The product comes in a small shimmering bottle with a dropper that feels both luxurious and appealing. The PDRN & Retinol Shot Ampoule contains the much-talked-about ingredient “salmon DNA” (PDRN), which has become a big trend in skincare, so I was really curious to try it. The formula is light and absorbs quickly into the skin. The scent is a bit special and not quite to my taste, but it disappears quickly after application. You can feel the product working, as it gives a slight tingling sensation on the skin. When I compare the results, however, I have to say that I prefer my usual retinol serum. It seems to have a stronger effect, and I find that my skin gets a better texture and looks more even and smooth. During the test period, I also got some breakouts. At the same time, I also used the Jeju Matcha Tea Essence from the same brand, so it’s hard to determine which of the products possibly caused the reaction, or if it was the combination of them. Although I really appreciated the product’s aesthetics and felt that it had some effect, it didn’t become an immediate favorite for me. Lovely Hair Serum
I have been testing the serum for 2 weeks now. This serum claims to be clinically proven to increase hair growth by 214% in just ten days. I have applied it to my scalp every night. I divided my hair into sections and applied 3 drops in each section. This serum is very concentrated and spreads so easily – which I love! It has a gel-like texture. The hair looks quite wet after application but dries very quickly. I also love the dropper on this, it’s very easy to get the right amount of product out. Even after 2 weeks, I still have plenty left in the bottle. I haven’t had any negative reactions on my scalp from using it and feel my scalp is more moisturized. I sometimes struggle with quite a bit of itching on my scalp, which has completely disappeared with the use of this serum. The hair also doesn’t feel greasy the next day, which is a big plus for me. It smells quite masculine when applied, but I think the scent fades once it’s dry. Whether it helps with hair growth, I don’t know yet. Even though it claims to show visible results in ten days, I personally haven’t noticed anything yet. Maybe in the long run! I will continue to use it anyway, as I like how moisturized and healthy my scalp feels. Pure Grow Conditioner
I have tested this conditioner along with the shampoo from the same series for ten days on my thin, Nordic hair. The conditioner is rich in peptides that are supposed to regenerate and strengthen thin hair. The bottle has the same cool design as the shampoo. I think the conditioner has a nice consistency – neither too thick nor too thin. It smells like the shampoo – a mild, slightly masculine scent, but I don’t notice it in my hair after rinsing it out. I apply this after shampooing and leave it on for 2 minutes before rinsing it out. The hair becomes easier to comb, but for my hair, I don’t feel this provides enough moisture. It doesn’t feel as soft and pleasant as when using a more moisturizing conditioner. But that’s probably just my hair being a bit drier and needing more moisture. This is a shampoo that promises a lot! Clinically proven to increase hair growth in just ten days. For me, who has typically thin and Nordic hair, with some thinning at the temples, this sounded very promising. The first thing I have to say is that the packaging is quite unique and looks very cool on the shower shelf. It's easy to dose out the right amount of product. The scent is mild, but like the scalp serum from the same series, a bit masculine. I find the shampoo lathers easily and is very economical to use. I have shampooed twice (as I always do) and followed up with conditioner from the same series. Good serum that actually isn’t sticky.
I’ve been lucky enough to be a test pilot for #lyko and have had the chance to test this product for about 2 weeks now. The first thing I noticed was the packaging, which was plastic but still had an unusually sleek design. It was easy to open and close, and also easy to dose the serum with this design and the pipette 😄 Now to the scent, which is hard to miss 😅 it smells fresh, I think it smells like bubblegum but at the same time it smells clean. It smells really good but sometimes maybe a bit much if you’re sensitive to scents, because after using this, several people commented and asked “oh what is that?” 😅 so yes, it lingered long after the hair was dry. I thought it almost smelled too strong some days, which gave me mild migraine attacks, especially since I was already a bit scent sensitive before 🥴, but in my opinion it’s a good and unisex scent, suitable for most.😄 The serum is liquid with a very pleasant consistency. It’s very economical to use so you only need a few drops. The serum spreads easily with the pipette. It absorbs quickly into the scalp without leaving a sticky film like some serums can. The hair doesn’t get greasy from the serum but stays nice until the next wash. 😊 I find it to be a fairly mild serum as it doesn’t irritate my dry and sensitive scalp when I used a bit of it. So I also didn’t experience any itching when I used it. 🤭 but the scalp felt more balanced and not least less dry 😄 After using this serum, but also the shampoo and conditioner in the same series, the hair feels soft, full, fresh, and clean after use. The hair stays fresh and clean longer than usual and it doesn’t weigh the hair down either. The hair still smelled good after drying even with the use of heat protectant and blow drying as well. I find the hair becomes a bit more manageable after use, but at the same time not super soft because it got a bit dry. This is probably a 9 out of 10 because the scent was overwhelming at times. I’ve only used the product for two weeks, so it’s still a bit early to assess if it has had any effect on hair growth but it works very well with the shampoo and conditioner in the same series at least 🙌 The only downside I found, which makes me deduct a star, is the scent, which was too strong for my taste on some days. I think the Face Formula Overnight Smoothing Serum is a good product that makes the skin softer and smoother over time. Good product but not for acne-sensitive skin
When I received the product from #lykotestpilot, I actually had no expectations; it’s the first time I’m trying something from #drceuracle. But when I opened the product, I was immediately excited to try it! My first reaction was that I thought the packaging was simple and convenient, there was no screw cap which was nice, and it came with a small scoop so you don’t have to dig into the product with your fingers. At first use, I loved the product! It melted away all dirt and thoroughly cleansed the skin. Afterwards, the skin felt moisturized and soft, not tight, which I usually have problems with using my regular daily cleanser. But the next morning I woke up with lots of fresh small pimples. I have used the product both together with other products from the brand and also alone with my normal routine that helps me with my acne. But both times I woke up with new fresh pimples. I was really so excited because the product was so good at cleansing the face, but so unfortunate that it gave me pimples. I have combination acne-prone skin; some days my skin is normal, other days dry, and sometimes oily in the T-zone or the whole face. I would say I’m mostly dry and get oilier towards the end of the day. I have had acne problems for several years and would say I have somewhat sensitive skin. I’m very into skincare and like to try new skincare to find the perfect products for my skin. But I have now stuck to one routine for a few months that I think works for me and doesn’t give me acne. The conclusion after trying this product for a few weeks is that the cleansing balm works really well to remove makeup but doesn’t work for my acne skin. I have now, as #lykotestpilot, had the chance to try Hyal Reyouth Melting Balm from Dr. Ceuracle and it has quickly become a favorite in my evening cleansing routine. For reference, I have combination, mostly oily skin! The balm melts nicely on the skin and effectively dissolves makeup, sunscreen, and other products that need to be washed off in the evening. I now use this as step 1 in my evening routine, but always follow up with a water-based cleanser after a product like this! It becomes slightly foaming and my skin feels clean, soft, and comfortable afterwards. A bit about me: dry, sensitive skin with T-zone High-quality and mild retinol product. Smells lovely, fresh but cozy and not too strong. Practical and cute packaging where the dropper is attached to the lid. Thick and easy to apply. I don’t think it was too strong, and I usually don’t use retinol. Used one drop that I gently pressed into the skin around the T-zone, dabbed leftover product on the rest of the face/decolletage. A bit about me: dry, sensitive skin with a T-zone Super cute, high-quality toner. The world's cutest and most inviting packaging, I almost want to drink it!🥰😅 Smells lovely, fresh and cozy but not too strong. Thick and nourishing formula. Easy to shake before use (to prevent the tea particles from settling at the bottom). A bit tricky to apply without spilling if you want to use your fingers. Also works as a mask if you use cotton pads or mask pads (e.g. the ones from Topz!). A bit about me: dry, sensitive skin with a T-zone Deep cleansing, high-quality cream. Smells lovely, fresh and cozy but not too strong. Spatula included in a practical lid. Very thick, almost more like a face mask than a facial cleanser. A bit difficult to lather up and rinse off. Possibly I used too much product. At the same time, it was hard to apply if not using enough.
