Is it just me who finds foot care annoying? All that filing and scrubbing 😭 But I decided to give it a chance and try to say goodbye to my rough, flaky, and tired feet.. While trying the foot cream, my feet have gone from a bit hard to softer. Of course, I had taken care of my feet before trying the cream so it’s fair to judge. No dryness at all either, which was something I could otherwise experience. Incredibly economical product, feet stay soft afterwards, and best of all it doesn’t feel sticky!! Over the past few years, I've tried a whole bunch of hand creams, but this one probably takes the prize so far for the best. I love hand cream, probably because I've had such dry hands before. I have a job where my hands are washed frequently and I have to wear gloves and use hand sanitizer, which I don't think has helped my hands. My first thought about the hand cream is that it feels a bit boring since it doesn't have much of a scent and the packaging doesn't look super exciting, but oh, how this one surprised me. It has a thick consistency and moisturizes while not being sticky (which is very important to me since I have a hard time staying still). My hands have become so much nicer since I started using this daily. As a #lykotestpilot, I got to try three products from #dermalogica, and one of them is this boosting collagen cream 🌸. First, a bit about my skin and what the cream promises: 🌱 Dry skin 🌱 Freckles 🌱 Red areas 🌱 Requires gentle exfoliation and moisturizing ingredients 🌱 Fine lines around the eyes The cream promises: 🌱 Helps preserve collagen and elastin 🌱 Intensive deep hydration 🌱 Should strengthen the skin’s future firmness and elasticity I really like this cream! You can immediately feel the skin getting moisturized, and as you see in the video, it melts right into the skin. I also like the jar, where you can easily pump out as much cream as you want without any mess 👏🏼. I’ve used it almost every evening during the test period, partly because my skin actually gets a bit red right after application, and since I use SPF 50 during the day, I haven’t needed to use it before then. The skin feels really super smooth from the cream, and I wake up every morning with a nice glow ✨ 😍. This one together with Phyto Nature E2 is really great for my skin. 🥳 The cream definitely doesn’t feel heavy on the face, and I can imagine it also works for acne-prone skin. Again, the price of this one, close to a thousand, and promises visible results after three days (according to the ad), lowers my rating by one star 🌟. I would still consider buying this one again, but only when it’s on sale 💦🤣. It still gives my skin something it needs: moisture and glow, and the skin actually feels firm after use, so I believe in it 🥹💜. As a #lykotestpilot, I received three products from #dermalogica, and one of the products is this cream with SPF 50 (which we like, right?). Before I break down my thoughts, I want to tell you a bit about my skin and what the cream promises: 🌱 Dry skin 🌱 Freckles 🌱 Red areas 🌱 Requires gentle exfoliation and moisturizing ingredients 🌱 Fine lines around the eyes Dynamic skin promises: 🌱 Improve firmness and elasticity 🌱 Inhibit uneven pigmentation 🌱 Stimulate the production of hyaluronic acid and collagen If you look at the pictures Dermalogica themselves posted of a person with forehead wrinkles, it shows a significant effect after just two weeks of use. I don’t see that effect on myself, of course, the person and I don’t have the same skin, but the "advertisement" is pretty straightforward: less visible wrinkles. In my case, that’s not visible, and at the same time, I’m not looking for my wrinkles to be reduced by the product; I want more and different effects. Also, I don’t have as visible wrinkles as the ad picture shows. 🫶🏼 I really like it, I want to be clear about that. Sure, it takes a while to work it into the skin, but it melts in nicely, the scent is also fresh and not too strong in my opinion. The cream isn’t better than any other, so I can’t give it five stars. I have many creams with SPF at a much lower price that suit my skin even better 🫶🏼 It gives a very moisturizing feeling and sits incredibly well under makeup, which I appreciate 💕, but the price is too high for me. I have, as #lykotestpilot, used three different products from #dermalogica, and one of them is PHYTO NATURE 🌱. I can start by saying that I was skeptical at first since it promises a lot, but before I share my thoughts on it, I’ll first present my skin and then what the product promises: 🌱 Dry skin 🌱 Red areas sometimes 🌱 Freckles 🌱 Fine lines around the eyes 🌱 Want moisture and a gentle exfoliation PHYTO NATURE promises: 🌱 Suitable for all skin types 🌱 Reduce the appearance of fine lines 🌱 Stimulate cell renewal deeply 🌱 Give immediate radiance and a direct cosmetic effect PHYTO promises quite a lot, and I thought it would fall flat but! After using it morning and night, I saw quite quickly that my red area on the cheek actually calmed down, which for me is incredible after such a short time of use (about two weeks). In the picture I’m sharing, it might not show so well since I had self-tanner on the before picture, but the area has decreased and calmed down significantly, and I’ve had this for many weeks 😅 already, so it definitely gets three stars from me straight away. I give the fourth because it actually gives radiance and despite its gel-like consistency, it works well under different bases and creams. But why not five stars then? Well! The price and the immediate effect it promises. The price because yes, it’s high. I will buy it again anyway (it’s this and Estee Lauder’s night serum that I actually repurchase despite the price), so half a star for the price and half a star for the promises. That it should stimulate cell renewal deeply, that’s not something I think I’ll see even after months of use, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t work 💌. It will last a long time, you actually get a lot of product for the money, two pumps are plenty for the face 🌸☀️. The important thing here is to use SPF during the day since it gently exfoliates the skin, so absolutely do not use it in the morning without SPF. I really like the design! I have received this product for testing to give my honest opinion ❤️ This is a renewing peeling that is supposed to reduce the visibility of fine lines and wrinkles. It is meant to increase cell renewal in the skin and provide a smoother complexion. I, the tester, have sensitive skin with a somewhat damaged skin barrier and some fine lines on my forehead. I am always a bit skeptical about exfoliation since my skin very easily reacts with redness and stinging. Like the two creams I have tested from Dermalogica, this one also contains a good amount of fragrance and essential oils. I have tested it a few times and unfortunately, each time I end up with redness and stinging. I am also a bit skeptical about using an exfoliating product twice a day, as the description says you should with this one. But if you have a normal skin type with a healthy skin barrier, it might work well. It’s unfortunate that there are so many irritating substances for my skin in this product. It would have been interesting to see if it had any effect on fine lines. Dermalogica Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF50
I have received this product for testing and here is my honest opinion. This is supposed to be a lightweight day cream with SPF50 that increases firmness, elasticity, and moisture content. I have very sensitive skin that needs a lot of moisture, and I am also prone to acne. This is a cream that feels very light on the skin. It absorbs quickly and does not feel sticky on my skin. Unfortunately, I experience mild irritation from this. Similar to the Pro-Collagen Banking Water Cream from the same brand that I have also tested, this also contains some fragrances and essential oils that can irritate sensitive skin. It's a shame because I really liked the feel of this, and who doesn't need a day cream with SPF50 ☺️ This cream has chemical sunscreens (like Avobenzone and Homosalate) that can work great for a healthy skin barrier, but for me, mineral sunscreens usually work better. Dermalogica Pro-Collagen Banking Water Cream
I received this product for testing and here is my honest opinion. I have skin that is quite sensitive, dehydrated, and acne-prone. I need a lot of moisture and gentle products. This is a gel-cream that is supposed to plump the skin as well as preserve collagen and elastin. The packaging is fun, but I notice that it often doesn’t pump out any product, so I have to press several times to get some out. The cream has a light gel consistency and feels like water when applied to the skin 💦 I find that it takes quite a long time to absorb, so I have used this in the evening when I’m not wearing makeup over it. So, how did it work for me? Unfortunately, not at all. I experienced quite a bit of stinging shortly after application, and on several occasions, I had to wash it off again because the stinging was unbearable. Unfortunately, I think this has way too many essential oils and fragrances for me; it smells very strongly of citrus and contains, among other things, orange, bergamot, and lemon peel oils, rosemary oil, and sandalwood oil. As a Lyko influencer tester, I have now had the chance to try Working Hands, a hand cream from O’keeffe’s 🖐️ I’m obsessed with soft hands and love to moisturize a lot. I also have a job where I use my body a lot, especially my hands. This often leads to dry, cracked, and sore hands. So I really want to take care of them as much as possible! It’s thick and rich in texture but absorbs quickly into the skin, which is great because I don’t like feeling sticky! As a Lyko influencer tester, I have now gotten to try Healty Feet, a foot cream from O’keeffe’s! Something I was really looking forward to here before summer when the feet want to come out.. 👣 🏖️ I have quite dry feet and unfortunately some hard spots as well, mostly on the heels. I walk and stand 8 hours a day at work, so unfortunately my feet don’t get as much love as they probably should.. But now! I’m starting the vacation with SOFT feet! 🦶🏼 They are both soft, smooth, and show no signs of hardness! Wow, I just say, my feet have never felt this good! 😂🥳 I have applied the foot cream before going to sleep and really massaged it in, it also works during the day as I think the cream absorbs well. I've been testing this hand cream for a while now, and it has actually become a favorite. My hands get dry quickly, especially after a lot of hand washing, and this has helped a lot. I have been so lucky to receive #lykotestpilot for #lyko and got to test this product for a little while now :) I have tried O´Keeffe´s hand cream and am very satisfied with it for everyday use and how it leaves the hands. 😍☀️ I also got my partner to test this since he has much drier hands that peel and has struggled to find a good fragrance-free hand cream, and he loved this so much that it became his favorite and he carries it everywhere. His hands are no longer dry and he got rid of the peeling. It promises intense moisture and care without perfume and without being sticky, and this is true even with the rich consistency. Even though the cream feels quite rich, it absorbs relatively quickly into the skin and does not leave the hands particularly sticky. It is easy to use several times a day as needed. After a period of use, I experience that both my and my partner’s hands feel softer and less dry, and the skin stays moisturized longer. I have been trying O’Keeffe’s Working Hands for a few weeks, and I truly understand why this hand cream is so loved! 💚 I work in healthcare and constantly wash and sanitize my hands, which makes them easily dry. This hand cream has really helped keep my hands soft and moisturized. Even though the cream has a fairly thick consistency, it absorbs quickly into the skin without feeling sticky, which is a big plus. The fact that it is fragrance-free also makes it perfect for sensitive skin. I notice a big difference when I use it regularly, and my hands feel significantly softer and less dry. As a Lyko test pilot, I have had the opportunity to test Dermalogica's Pro-Collagen Banking Water Cream for a few weeks, and I am very pleased with the product. I find that the face cream delivers on its promise of intense hydration, and my skin feels firm after use. The fact that it works anti-aging is a big plus. I like to use water-based face creams during the summer for a lighter feel on the skin, and this one has become a new favorite. It suits my normal/dry skin well. Promising anti-aging serum
As a Lyko test pilot, I have had the luxury of testing Dermalogica Phyto Nature formula for a few weeks, and so far I am impressed! The formula is supposed to stimulate cell renewal, and I find that it actually helps to exfoliate dead skin effectively. This in turn gives my skin more radiance. The product works anti-aging, and I use the formula preventively to minimize signs of aging on the skin. Simple and convenient application with a pump bottle, the formula is light and absorbs quickly into the skin. Works well on my normal/dry skin. Luxurious Day Cream with SPF50
I have had the luxury of testing Dermalogica Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF50 for a few weeks as Lyko’s test pilot. I find that the day cream ticks several boxes I look for in my skincare routine; moisturizing, ingredients with anti-aging properties, and high SPF. Smooth application with a pump bottle, the cream takes a while to absorb into the skin. The day cream leaves some shine but feels more like a radiance/glow and works well for my normal/dry skin type. I’m impressed that the day cream has SPF50 and I feel it provides good protection. When I’ve been in the sun, I have also applied sunscreen as extra protection. I feel my skin has gained more radiance and it feels hydrated and protected. A rare SPF day cream that is actually light!
Most skin creams with SPF are quite greasy, which gives me breakouts, but this one doesn’t! It’s not as light as gel creams, but it’s perfect for me with dry/normal skin. It’s easy to apply and absorbs quickly. I use this in the morning, and I don’t experience any issues with makeup. Doesn’t leave a white cast! The only thing to be aware of is that even though there is SPF in the skin cream, you still need to apply regular sunscreen in addition during summer/in heat. If you’re just going out for a quick trip, the cream alone is enough, but for longer periods sunscreen should also be used. I took this with me to the south and used it on my face before regular sunscreen. I highly recommend this as you get extra protection + moisture back into the skin (something you need after lots of sun and swimming!). The pump is very easy to use and perfect for travel. Although the product is very good, in my opinion the price is a bit too high for everyday use considering it’s only 50 ml. Really good for dry hands and feet
The hand cream feels protective and moisturizing, but without being unpleasantly sticky. It absorbs into the skin better than I expected and leaves the hands softer without feeling slippery afterward. I also like that it doesn't have a strong perfume scent, which is a big plus for me⭐️ The foot cream feels a bit richer, which is great for feet that often need more moisture. My feet aren't very dry, but the cream still made the skin softer and feels like a product I’d gladly use regularly, especially during colder periods. Both creams feel more nourishing and protective than a regular light lotion.
