What a lovely eye cream! 👀☁️ I've had the chance to try this for a few weeks now and I am so pleasantly surprised. I find that The Ordinary delivers very mixed results, but some products are truly to die for, and this one I feel is one of them! This eye cream is supposed to reduce wrinkles over time, provide moisture, have a tightening and repairing effect. The consistency is perfect, feels creamy but easy to apply. It's quite a large package for an eye cream, so a big plus for so much product at such a low price. I haven't used it long enough to see a very clear difference in lines, but I think some have been reduced, and I really feel it has moisturized well and tightened since I started using it. So I will definitely continue to use it and hopefully see a bigger difference in lines and wrinkles going forward as well. Can absolutely recommend this! I have been able to test this gem from Gucci for a few weeks, and I can truly say that the description of the perfume perfectly matches reality. This is an intense floral long-lasting gourmand scent, with freshness at the top, floral vanilla in the heart, and dark cocoa in the base. It is a really strong scent that lasts long on the skin and changes a bit over time. For me, it becomes a bit too strong and floral, but I can definitely imagine it suits many! Nice shampoo!
I have Scandinavian hair with bleached lengths and a problematic scalp. Lately, I've noticed my lengths feeling extra dry and have had trouble finding something that helps. This shampoo is supposed to provide intense moisture to the hair and scalp with the help of Nordic birch sap and hyaluronic acid. I find it very mild and gentle on the scalp, with a lovely mild and fresh scent. I agree that it is softening and moisturizing. It lathers well and has a good consistency, not too runny. After using the whole series, I find my lengths softer, more moisturized, and my scalp has felt good. My only downside is the packaging; the conditioner in the same series has a pump but not the shampoo. I wish both had pumps, that would have raised the rating. An extra plus that the packaging is made from recycled and recyclable materials ♻️ All in all, it’s a good shampoo that delivers what it promises but nothing beyond the ordinary. The whole series together works great on my hair type, provides nice moisture, and smells good. I have Scandinavian hair with bleached lengths and a problematic scalp. Lately, I've noticed my lengths feeling extra dry and have had trouble finding something that helps. I find it very mild and gentle, with a lovely mild and fresh scent. The texture is pleasant, and I actually find the lengths softer and more moisturized right after washing. A plus for the packaging—I love pump bottles for shampoo and conditioner. Unfortunately, I don't think this conditioner alone is effective enough for drier or coarser hair, but it's probably more for slightly damaged and dry Scandinavian hair. Amazing hair treatment at a great price!
I have Scandinavian hair with bleached lengths and a problematic scalp. Lately, I've noticed my lengths feeling extra dry and have had a hard time finding something that helps. This 2-in-1 mask can be used both as a rinse-out hair treatment and as a leave-in cream. I've tried both methods and absolutely love it. I believe this gem is the real star of this hair care line. The packaging is great, perfect with the flat cap so it stands steadily. The scent is mild and fresh. The texture is thick and very typical for a hair treatment. Leaves hair soft, moisturized but not weighed down. Magical 🌊🍃🫐 As a hair treatment in the shower, I use it on very wrung-out hair after shampoo, before conditioner. Let it sit for a few minutes and then rinse out. Then proceed with conditioner as usual. As a leave-in, I distribute a pea-sized amount evenly through the lengths in towel-dried hair. Use more if needed, but start small so it doesn’t get too heavy or hard for the hair to absorb. This is a light sunscreen with a high SPF that feels very gentle on the skin. It’s easy to work in and sits well on the skin without a white cast and also looks nice under makeup. The scent is very mild as well. Big plus for the packaging, very convenient with sunscreen in this type of tube. Definitely a good SPF, but nothing wow in my opinion. For the price, there are others on the market I’d rather buy. I can also imagine it’s a big minus for some that it contains niacinamide, which is an ingredient that doesn’t get along well with all skin types. Also, I find that this stings the eyes, a big minus for me. Not a serum for me 🧴🫧
This serum is supposed to help with impurities, reduce irritation and redness, and have a soothing effect on the skin. I don't think this serum does anything for me at all, neither positive nor negative, so unfortunately it becomes completely unnecessary in my routine. But I find it easy to work with, absorbs quickly, and feels nice on the skin. Unfortunately, I experience that the serum "pills" a bit on the skin. I can't get it to work with anything in my skincare routine, so unfortunately it won't be used further by me. Like several products in this series, they have chosen to use niacinamide, which is a dealbreaker for many, so it might be good to keep an eye on. This is a fragrance-free toner meant to help if you’re prone to pimples. It’s supposed to work preventively by exfoliating and cleansing clogged pores. They recommend using it both morning & night. I find it a bit too drying for my taste, and I don’t think it makes any difference with my pimples. I also wouldn’t recommend using it twice a day since it contains salicylic acid; I think you should ease into it first. And fragrance-free – absolutely, but it smells like hand sanitizer, so a little fragrance wouldn’t have hurt. This didn’t become a favorite for me since I don’t see any positive change. However, I saw someone here in the reviews using it on their body, like in the armpits to counteract sweat odor, totally brilliant! This is supposed to be a fragrance-free moisturizing cream that helps reduce impurities and decrease irritation. Especially good for those prone to pimples and for sensitive skin. I think the tube is good, a good size and easy to get the product out. It’s a fairly light formula that’s easy to work into the skin. Feels really nice on the skin. However, I don’t think it moisturizes very well, and the worst thing for me – it “rolls” on the skin, making it impossible for me to use in my routine. I’ve tried all possible combinations and variations, but it flakes on the skin regardless. So unfortunately, this didn’t become my cream. But my partner likes it! This is a day cream packed with active ingredients meant to help the skin's elasticity. I think the packaging feels luxurious, I love when you don’t have to dip your fingers into a jar. The scent is mild and a bit sunscreen-like. Unfortunately, I find it a bit greasy on the skin. I love glow and thick moisturizing creams, but this one felt a bit more oily. And it was a bit hard for my skin to absorb. And unfortunately, a pretty big minus for me is that it only contains SPF20. I’d really like SPF50 on my face. So I would need to apply a stronger SPF on top, meaning another cream, and considering how greasy this cream is, I don’t know how my skin would react in the long run, unfortunately. I like it, but it won’t be a go-to favorite used daily.
