I got to test this lip balm from Carmex that promises deep hydration and protection against external stressors like sun, wind & cold. This really feels like classic Carmex with the standard formula that stings the lips and barely hydrates, even though one of the focuses lies right there. But in this case, it feels more like it protects more than it hydrates, and that’s not entirely wrong either. So you can always use your favorite lip balm as a first layer, and then this on top when you’re going out into the snowstorm 🤷🏼♀️ The scent/taste is supposed to be of tropical fruits, it’s a pretty weak scent that disappears quickly. I've been testing this 3-pack of Carmex lip balm for a few weeks. The formula is the same as what Carmex usually has, it tingles a bit and is supposed to protect against sun, wind & cold. Big plus for spf15. Carmex doesn't moisturize, in my opinion, very well. You need to reapply a bit too often for my taste, and that's also the case with these. I love this type of packaging for lip balm. Fun with smaller size and different flavors/scents for all three. Perfect to have one in the bag, one on the nightstand & one in the car. Great for me who always needs something on my lips. Unfortunately, I won't be throwing away my standard lip balm and switching to these. A plus for the sun protection factor, even though I think that spf15 is a bit low by today's standards, but of course better than no protection at all. In my opinion, you need to reapply a bit too often as I don't think it hydrates and softens enough, but that's also what I usually think about all the different Carmex, so it lived up to my expectations that it's neither good nor bad. A pretty unnecessary lip balm that doesn't add anything 🤷🏼♀️ The scent/taste is of pomegranate, it's a quite weak but very pleasant scent that disappears quickly. This balm didn't give me any wow feeling, as there are other fun things on the market. Here we have a mascara that focuses on length, we are promised visually longer lashes, it should be easy to wash off and should not smudge during the day. And I think now after testing this for a few weeks, that it almost lives up to what it promises. I love this type of brush on mascaras, I always choose a mascara focused on length, so for me it fits super well to have gotten to test this one. It is a really deep black shade that gives a defined lash line with long, beautiful separated lashes. Super good in every way! But then we come to durability, and unfortunately I think it smudges a bit on the eyelids during the day (that's a problem I have with the majority of mascaras, so I don't know if it's my fault or the mascara's 😂), but also that it requires quite a bit more than warm water to get it off. I think it behaves a bit like a waterproof mascara when washing, it takes a bit of work. I have been testing this lovely kit with serum & face cream, rich in vitamin C & antioxidants that give glow to the skin for a few weeks now. I must admit that I am quite picky with my skincare, it is important that new additions fit well with my existing products. And most importantly - they need to add something, I need to see a difference in my skin, otherwise they can't stay. This series is quite rich in fragrance, both products have a strong citrus scent & I think the scent lasts quite a while, so those of you who are sensitive to fragrance should probably think twice about this 🍊 The serum has a very light consistency, a bit runny but still easy to work with and absorbs quickly. Gives a nice glow ✨ The cream is super lovely in consistency, easy to work with and absorbs quickly. However, I find that it gets a bit sticky afterwards. And on me, it "rolls" on the skin. ➖ Unfortunately, I don't get any effect from either of the products, the serum unfortunately doesn't do anything and the cream doesn't sit as it should on my skin. They add nothing for me, so this wasn't my match, unfortunately. ➕ The gift box is really nice, a perfect gift for someone you care about. Plus, it's a great price for two full-size products. I was so incredibly happy to get to test some products from Mamonde, one of my biggest interests is Korean skincare, so this suited me perfectly! My skin is quite uncomplicated, but generally, I have combination skin, with a slightly oily T-zone, enlarged pores at the nose & a bit of redness over the cheeks. I only use Korean skincare in my routines, as it is the only thing I feel makes a difference and gives a visible result. Here we have a bakuchiol cream, bakuchiol works like a mild retinol, which targets fine lines, smooths the skin, and keeps it firm. But it is gentler on the skin barrier than regular retinol and has a lower risk of irritating the skin, therefore it is perfect for sensitive skin. Additionally, bakuchiol is anti-inflammatory and works well against acne. So a top product for all skin types, I would assert! The formula is incredibly easy to work with, it is a thick cream but massages easily over the skin and absorbs quickly. The skin gets a light glow and feels hydrated. I experience a very mild scent, but nothing that bothers. I think the design is nice, and I like that it is a tube form for this product, as you want to be able to squeeze out the last little drop from this wonderful cream. The price feels fair to me, the full size is relatively large and the content is economical and lasts a long time. I really have nothing negative to say about this at all. When my test runs out, I will need to buy a full size, I can't live without this, truly magical cream! Absolutely wonderful ✨☁️💜 Note! I only use Korean skincare in my routines, as it is the only thing I feel makes a difference and gives a visible result. This cleansing balm is wonderful in consistency, it is a solid formula at first but becomes easily creamy when you start to work it into the skin. Start with a dry face & "dry" product when you first massage it in, to later add water and emulsify it, to finally rinse off thoroughly. The result is a radiant, gently exfoliated, clean, and hydrated face ready for the next step in the routine. I find the balm easy to work with and it leaves no greasy film even though one might think so, as the formula at first, as mentioned, is creamy. It has a light mint scent, which doesn’t bother me at all, but for those of you with more sensitive noses, it might become quite a strong scent right on the face 🍃 I think the design is cute, the packaging on the full-size product looks great & the price is absolutely reasonable for what you get. It’s a long-lasting product that will hold up for a long time ✨ I love products that work effectively on multiple things at once, in this case both exfoliating and cleansing. The most important thing for me in a face wash is also that you should feel completely clean but not dry, and this wash ticks that box ✔️ However, I do not use mascara or eyeliner, so I will leave it unsaid how effective it is on eye makeup. Therefore, I do not dare to give it a five. But all my other experiences with this wash have been great! ✨ Note! It didn’t take me many uses before I realized it was fantastic! You pat a reasonable amount onto clean skin (before the rest of the routine) and you get a natural glow and effectively but gently exfoliated skin. It’s incredibly easy to work with, has a mild scent that doesn’t bother, and the serum is soothing and moisturizing ☁️ I think the bottle is great, nice design and great with the little dropper at the end. It makes it very easy to regulate the amount you get out. I think the price is quite reasonable for what you get for the product. Additionally, the content is economical and lasts a long time, which makes the price feel even better 🩷 After a few weeks of testing, I experience a more even exfoliated skin & a fresh glow, with very little effort on my part. This setting spray promises long-lasting hold & a matte finish, which should keep the makeup in place both day & night ✨ This is a cult classic that has been around for ages, but for me, this is actually the first time I'm trying it, so it's been incredibly fun to see if it becomes a favorite for me, as it is for many others. After testing this for a few weeks now, I find that the formula is top-notch for me, the makeup really stays put. I have a setting spray that I usually use as the last step in my routine every day, which I absolutely love, so during this period, I switched that spray out for this one from Urban Decay, to see if I find this one better. Unfortunately, it doesn't quite make it all the way for me. Also, unfortunately, the matte finish is not my favorite, I would rather be a bit “dewy”, but that's a matter of taste. If you want to be matte, then this is really great! I find the mist itself a bit wet, it doesn't create quite the lovely cloud that I want, but it dries quickly, so both plus & minus there. I also think the price is a bit too high for what you get (though not now during Black Week, amazing price!!) So in my opinion, there are better setting sprays on the market, for a better price & a more even mist! I have had the great pleasure of testing this LED mask for a few weeks, and I am positively surprised! I have long considered buying just such a thing, so I was incredibly happy when I got one home 💡 This is indeed an LED mask with 4 different light types, each with its own "target", all of which are supposed to improve your skin in some way. It comes in a box, luxurious, stylish & neat. You need to put together a few parts, but it is very easy to understand how, as you can either check here above with the help of Lyko's instructions or there is also a manual in the box. You then charge the control, plug it into the mask, clean your face, then you just have to choose a light program and go. And wow, how nice it is. Not only do you get 10 minutes where you receive a facial treatment with infrared light, you are forced to close your eyes and relax for a while. When you are done, you wipe it off with an antibacterial wipe. You may experience some redness or warmth in the skin right after use, but that is completely normal & goes away super quickly. I have only had time to test the mask for about 3 weeks, but I am already experiencing small improvements in my skin. The pores have shrunk, I feel that I have clearer & more vibrant skin. I have used the blue program the most, 10 minutes every or every other day. But I think the big difference comes over a longer time with regular use! One small downside is that I think the eye protection doesn't quite fulfill its function, because even with my eyes closed, the red light is a bit too strong. So the eye protection doesn't quite cover. But the blue light is not as strong, so I have used that the most, so I can even keep my eyes open, perfect for multitasking 😉 Furthermore, the mask is very pleasant to use, it sits comfortably & weighs nothing. We fight over it at home, my partner is very quick to grab it in the evenings 😅, so it is very popular, we both love it!
