My go-to mask when my hair feels dry and tired!
This is a mask I pull out when my hair feels extra dry or damaged, and it has quickly become a favorite in my bathroom cabinet. The consistency is really thick and creamy, so it feels like my hair is getting a good dose of moisture – especially in the lengths and ends. I usually use it 1-2 times a week and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes while I do other things in the shower. Afterwards, my hair feels soft, more manageable, and significantly easier to detangle. What I appreciate most is that the results last even after my hair has dried, and not just right after rinsing it out. Even though it is quite rich in consistency, I don’t find that my hair gets heavy, as long as I stick to the lengths and avoid the scalp. The scent is quite neutral – neither good nor bad – which doesn’t bother me but also isn’t something that stands out. A small downside for me is the packaging. It’s practical, but I would have preferred if the jar was made of glass instead of plastic, which would feel more luxurious considering the price. My tip is to use it together with more products from the Olaplex line. When I combine this mask with shampoo, conditioner, and oil from the same line, I notice clearer and more long-lasting results than when I use it alone. In summary, this is a very good mask for you with dry or treated hair that needs extra moisture and care. Olaplex No.4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo
This is a shampoo I keep coming back to, even though I sometimes try other things in between. The first thing I noticed was how little product is actually needed – it lathers up nicely even though it’s quite concentrated, so one bottle lasts a long time. I’ve used it both alone and together with Olaplex No.5, and I find that my hair feels clean without becoming rough. After washing, my hair feels softer, stronger, and more cohesive, especially in the lengths that otherwise easily become dry. I also notice that my hair doesn’t feel as damaged between haircuts when I use this regularly. The shampoo works well for my hair even with several washes a week, but I can imagine that very dry hair might need to be supplemented with a proper hair mask sometimes. The only little downside for me is the scent – it’s neither disgusting nor particularly nice, just quite neutral and anonymous, which is of course a matter of taste. The packaging is simple and practical, although I – just like with several Olaplex products – would have wished for a slightly more luxurious feel, for example glass instead of plastic. In summary, this is a reliable and caring shampoo that does its job without fuss. Olaplex No.7 Bonding Oil
I was a bit skeptical at first since I’ve tried many hair oils that either weigh the hair down or just add shine without actually nourishing. But this one surprised me positively. I usually use 1-2 drops on towel-dried hair before blow-drying, and sometimes half a drop on dry hair near the tips that feel dry. What I noticed quite quickly was that the hair feels softer without becoming flat, and that frizz stays away longer than usual. The shine also looks more "natural" and not oily. One thing I really like is that it also works as a heat protectant – I use heat tools regularly, and my hair doesn’t feel as dry or brittle afterward as it can otherwise. The oil is very economical, so despite the higher price, it lasts a long time. The scent is mild and dissipates quickly, which I appreciate. The packaging is nice and practical, the only small downside is that I wish the bottle were glass instead of plastic – it would feel a bit more luxurious, especially considering the price range. Nothing that affects the content, but still a detail. Overall, this feels like a well-thought-out product that actually makes a difference over time, especially for dry or treated lengths. I've been using L'Oréal Paris Elvital Growth Booster for just over 4 weeks now, and it's time to review. I've used the products: ~ Growth Booster Shampoo for hair loss ~ Growth Booster Conditioner for hair loss ~ Growth Booster Hair Serum for hair loss I have uncolored, normally thick hair with a lot of hair loss, especially in the shower but also when brushing, when I've slept, etc. I can really recommend everyone to try this series if you, like me, experience a lot of hair loss. I don't lose nearly as much hair in the shower and have noticed a significant difference, especially in the morning and during the day when I brush my hair or handle/style it. The bed is usually always full of hair strands after the night, but since I started using L'Oréal Paris Elvital Growth Booster, I can attest that I hardly lose any hair at all, max 3 hair strands during the night, and I've slept with my hair down most of the time - yes, I know you're not supposed to do that ;-) 🌸 The scent and consistency are important to me in my hair products, and the scent is rich (almost cinnamon) but still fresh, more unisex, which I prefer! The packaging is convenient and easy to handle, nothing to complain about.
