THE LONGEVITY SERUM Cell-regenerating Sphere Serum

I've been on the hunt for a serum this summer that isn't too strong but still works on signs of aging and can give my thirsty skin enough moisture. That's why I clicked home Mantle's new Longevity Serum, which is supposed to do this among other things, but also tighten and give the skin a lift. I love the wet look you get after using it! In short, The Longevity Serum is a high-performing serum designed to reduce lines, tighten, and give the skin a lift. Created with advanced microfluid technology and epidermal growth factor (EGF+), this serum contains over 2000 spheres that effectively preserve the active ingredients for maximum effect. Usage: Apply to clean, dry skin morning and evening. The product works best on dry and mature skin as well as for skin with fine lines (which I have started to get). There is no direct scent to the product, which I find a bit boring. I like scent in my products and can't stand fragrance-free things, which I know many others like. My overall experience after 3 weeks of use is that the product has given me good moisture throughout the day, which has helped with my fine lines, I get a wet look from it which I love, and the makeup goes on smoothly and nicely underneath since it is so moisturizing. I probably wouldn't buy it again as I think there are better serums on the market at a better price as well. I don't experience any lift at all, but maybe it suits an even more mature skin than mine! [hashtag] [hashtag] + good moisture + like the packaging - don't experience any lift or tightening - feel that the price is too high for what you get

  • Wasterclouds - here to hydrate

I attended a lovely event at Lyko and brought home some nice products to test at my leisure, specifically Wasterclouds hair care✨ I will be testing the following Wasterclouds products going forward: ~ Heat Protection Spray ~ Moist Hair Serum ~ Repair Argan Oil Serum ~ Intense Moist Treatment ~ Relieve Scalp Massage Brush The series is described on Lyko's website as: ”Waterclouds – professional hair care with a clear focus: To provide all hair types with the moisture and rehydration needed for hair to remain soft, strong, and beautiful. Our wide range of innovative products therefore contains various types of rehydrating and moisturizing ingredients formulated to optimize the hair's natural rehydration and tackle challenges caused by lack of moisture. The entire product line is developed in line with the high quality standards required for salon products and has been widely used by professional hairdressers and stylists since its launch in 2001. Today, our Swedish-made products are not only found in many salons across Europe, but they are also an important part of many people's daily hair care routine. To achieve healthy and beautiful hair, rehydration is key.” I look forward to testing the products going forward and will then return with a detailed review of each product 🤍🤍 For reference, I have already had the chance to test the Wasterclouds hair mask and shampoo from the Moist Package series (not shown in the picture). I bought these myself and can briefly recommend everyone to try this brand. Good price without compromising on quality! I have dry, untreated, and thick hair. Since I usually don’t use many products in my hair otherwise or style it particularly much, it’s important for me to use products that can tame my frizz and deeply rehydrate - I want natural, shiny, and well-cared-for hair. I can already warmly recommend the Wasterclouds Moist series to anyone looking for a gentle and deeply nourishing shampoo/mask without breaking the bank. If you, like me, enjoy the scent after a salon visit, I think you will like this scent, very clean and freshly washed/summery scent without being cloying✨ I have noticed that I needed quite a bit of product from other shampoos, but this shampoo from Watercloud LATHERS really well and quickly - even with a small amount. Therefore, I also don’t need to double cleanse my hair. This makes the shampoo very economical for me with thick and long hair! I only use a small amount that I lather up with water, then rinse a little (but let some of the product sit) and work the lather up again, this method works very well for me! 💦 🚿 #lykomission #lykoreview

Experiencing an improvement in fullness and less hair loss ~ Nioxin System 2 Loyalty Kit for Thinning Hair

Finally time for me to review the set System 2 by Nioxin ~ Loyalty Kit for Thinning Hair. I have thick normal/dry hair with developed thinning, naturally (not colored). Over time, I have experienced that my hair has become weakly thinned and I have also lost quite a bit of hair, especially in the shower but also when I brush or handle it during the day. Note that I do not use any other products in my hair and do not style it either. The product is described by Nioxin itself as: Nioxin System 2 routine refreshes the scalp, reduces hair loss due to broken hair strands, strengthens the hair, and gives a healthy shine to natural hair. I have reviewed the series based on scent and how well the product has worked over time. The scent is very fresh with a slight hint of menthol/cucumber. Which makes the hair feel very fresh after washing. My hair steps: ~ Wash the hair with shampoo 2 times to get it really clean, ~ Conditioner in the scalp and lengths, ~ Finish with Scalp & Hair Treatment (shake to activate it). Then apply to the scalp and work into the hair from root to tip. Do not rinse out. Review (pros and cons): ~ good scent and the hair feels like it has been salon-treated after all steps (i.e. soft, good scent, and voluminous). ~ do not lose nearly as much hair in the shower as before and the hair does not break as easily, I have noticed - very satisfied with the results so far even though I want to use it for an even longer period. ~ good and convenient packaging. ~ the conditioner is lightweight and leaves the scalp moisturized without weighing it down. ~ Nioxin Scalp & Hair Treatment gives each hair strand increased fullness which makes me feel that the hair looks fuller and healthier. ~ Have tested the smaller packaging of 150ml and it goes quite quickly for me as I have long hair, can therefore feel a bit not economical especially since I need double cleansing and quite a bit of conditioner. ~ The product is relatively high in price but I feel that the quality makes up for it. I am a test pilot via Smartson and test the products for free ✨ @Smartsontestpilot @Nioxin @wellanordic #Nioxin #hairloss #nioxingrowingresults #hairgrowth #haircare #lykoreview #lykomission

  • Björn Axén Scalp Detox Scrub

I have tested the Björn Axén Scalp Detox Scrub a few times now, and therefore it's appropriate to review it. I normally have uncolored/dry hair with a tendency towards dryness overall and therefore sometimes also an itchy scalp. The shampoo is deeply cleansing and enriched with exfoliating AHA and BHA acids and round peeling grains that dissolve when you wash your scalp. Salicylic acid (BHA) exfoliates dead skin cells and removes product residues, while Glycolic acid, Malic acid, and Lactic acid (AHA) balance the sebum production in the scalp. The scent is very fresh with notes of peppermint, cucumber, and jasmine. You really feel clean afterward. The scalp feels fresh and airy, and you can really feel that you have deeply cleansed the scalp properly, and the hair almost lifts from the scalp. I can recommend trying this product if you have an itchy and oily scalp and want to "restore" the balance in the scalp. You follow up with shampoo (any brand) and towel-dry the hair. Pros: ~ the product works well against dry and itchy scalp ~ the scent is lovely ~ nice packaging Cons: ~ not economical - you need a lot of product as it should be used both on the scalp and in the lengths (I have very long and thick hair, so a lot of product goes to waste for me) ~ since it is not economical, it becomes expensive to buy in the long run ❤️❤️❤️/❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ (3 out of 5 hearts because it is so not economical) #lykoreview #lykomission

  • Clarins Double Serum

During the winter and fall, my skin needs extra moisture, so it was perfect to finally use Clarins' best-seller, specifically the Double Serum and their extra firming day and night cream, also from Clarins. I love the Clarins brand overall, I use everything from body to face but have never tried their serum before, so it has been extra exciting to review it. I generally have a hard time with serums that are sticky or gooey, but this serum absorbs well into the skin, especially if I prep my skin beforehand with light exfoliation and toner 💦 I have been testing the serum for almost 8 months (note the picture was taken before I had time to use the products, hence full amounts in the packaging 🫶🏻 🤍) and can say that it is a moisturizing and nutrient-rich serum that suits most regardless of age or skin type, though I would say it is particularly good for skin that has lost firmness and if you have deep pores. I feel that my skin has better texture and fewer pores. Additionally, it is perfect before I apply foundation. I feel that my makeup gets a nice glow and good moisture. Overall, I wouldn't say it is worth the price. There are significantly cheaper serums that do the job! I also don't think the creams are worth the price, as they use quite a bit of product each time, thus not at all economical. However, I love the scent and luxurious feel of the products. ♥️♥️/♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ 2 out of 5 hearts due to the luxurious feel of the products and because I feel my skin is more hydrated than before. #lykoreview #lykomission
