Very mild – too mild for me
Not really my favorite 🤍 I've been testing the Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant 74 g for a while now and really like the idea — but unfortunately, it didn't work that well for me. For starters, I hardly experience any peeling effect at all. My skin feels about the same afterward, so I don't get that smoother surface or glow that I usually get from enzyme/chemical peels. The scent is also a bit special and not so pleasant in my opinion, and the packaging brings down the experience a bit. The screw cap often causes the powder to end up in the lid even when the bottle is standing upright, which makes it a bit messy to use in everyday life. However, I think it might suit you if you have very sensitive skin and want something extremely mild — but for me, the result was too weak. Such a product that makes something as simple as showering a little nicer. 🌹 The rose here is soft and natural, more fresh petals than perfume - clear but never heavy. The soap lathers easily and cleanses without leaving the skin feeling tight afterwards, which means I often skip body lotion on certain days without any issues. It just leaves a clean, soft feeling and a subtle rose scent that stays close to the skin. A favorite just because it doesn’t try to be more than it is. Just a really pleasant shower. A cream I underestimated the first time I used it — until I noticed how little is actually needed. It is very economical and lasts longer than you think. The consistency is rich and nice, light green color and absorbs well without feeling heavy. The skin feels immediately softer and retains moisture all night, especially when it feels a bit tired or tight. For me, it often suffices as the only step after serum. Olaplex rich hydration mask - My go-to mask when my hair feels dry and tired!
OLAPLEX rich hydration mask 🖤 This is a mask I pull out when my hair feels extra dry or damaged, and it has quickly become a favorite in my bathroom cabinet. The consistency is really thick and creamy, so it feels like my hair is getting a good dose of moisture – especially in the lengths and ends. I usually use it 1-2 times a week and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes while I do other things in the shower. Afterwards, my hair feels soft, more manageable, and significantly easier to detangle. What I appreciate most is that the results last even after my hair has dried, and not just right after rinsing it out. Even though it is quite rich in consistency, I don’t find that my hair becomes heavy, as long as I stick to the lengths and avoid the scalp. The scent is quite neutral – neither good nor bad – which doesn’t bother me, but it’s also not something that stands out. A small downside for me is the packaging. It’s practical, but I would have preferred if the jar was made of glass instead of plastic, which would feel more luxurious considering the price. My tip is to use it together with more products from the Olaplex line. When I combine this mask with shampoo, conditioner, and oil from the same line, I notice clearer and more long-lasting results than when I use it alone. In summary, this is a very good mask for you with dry or treated hair that needs extra moisture and care.
