Gives a nice glow
My boyfriend has been trying the Lumene Nordic-C Feel Good Glow Gift Set for a month now, as I couldn't use it myself (I don't tolerate skincare with vitamin C very well). My boyfriend has normal skin, with few issues regarding acne, texture, etc. However, he struggles quite a bit with wrinkles on his forehead and lacks some glow in his skin. He usually doesn't use any skincare products, which makes his skin quite tired and dehydrated. The products are supposed to help with texture and unevenness, as well as give the skin more glow. So, there is no mention of improvement of wrinkles, even though products with vitamin C usually do that. My boyfriend has used the products on and off for a month, so not every day. He mentions that the products are comfortable on the skin and feel a bit exclusive. The result is so-so, as it hasn't made a big difference. Still, the products do moisturize the skin more, which automatically gives better hydration and less texture. You can also see that the skin has gotten more life and glow, which is very positive. Overall, it's a nice package of products, as it feels very exclusive and provides good moisture to the skin. Whether it has an effect on pigmentation and fine lines is somewhat difficult to assess based on my boyfriend's results. I love this series 🧡 The serum has a light flowing consistency that is quickly absorbed by the skin, and the cream has a very lovely soft, thicker consistency. As with many products, I need to wait a while before applying the cream to avoid it starting to "roll". I have been testing this lovely skincare gift set from #lykoinflutester for a while as #lumene, super exciting since Lumene is a brand I know well from before, but I actually haven't tested their skincare much! 🤩 The first impression is that they feel luxurious, a cute packaging and the product packaging itself feels solid and luxurious. I love glow in my skincare, so this is perfect for me! Their glow moisturizer gives a super nice glow without feeling overwhelming, it has a very light consistency and a little goes a long way. You really feel hydrated, which is great this time of year when you often feel dry! And a stoooong plus is that it sits really nicely under makeup! A lovely boost for the skin
As #lykoinflutester, I got the chance to try these products from #lumene✨ A little background about my skin: dry, and can easily feel impure and lifeless. I have previously had acne and easily get pimples from "wrong" products. I must start by saying: the scent! 😍 Both the serum and the cream have a lovely scent with a touch of orange. Quite quickly (after a few days of use), I also felt that my skin became more plump and felt both "cleaner" and had more glow, even when I hadn't used the products. However, there is one thing that detracts from the overall experience: the products don't really work together if you use them directly after each other. If I apply the cream too close to the serum, it starts to roll off the skin instead of sinking in, which is annoying especially in the morning when I often have a bit of a time crunch. I have your lykoinflutester tested these products for a certain period. I have used the serum before and have an oily to combination skin type. Unfortunately, it hasn't made any significant difference for me, so it's not a product I've really connected with. The products together can also be a bit strong for the skin, especially if you're sensitive. The scent is very nice, but maybe not entirely optimal for those who are scent-sensitive. I wouldn't say that you necessarily need both. Despite that, it's a very nice and luxurious gift, especially as a Christmas present, thanks to the beautiful packaging and overall experience. I have had the opportunity to test this lovely kit from Lumene over the past few weeks, which includes both the Nordic-C Glow Boost Serum and the Nordic-C Day Cream. I, who have tested, am 37 years old, with dry and sensitive skin that may need a little extra love, especially during the winter months. I also have psoriasis (though not on my face) and react easily to certain preservatives, so I am quite cautious when trying new products. 🍊 Glow Boost Serum: + Light and smooth to apply – the serum sinks in quickly without leaving any sticky residue. + Gives a nice, fresh glow that immediately makes the skin look a bit more awake. – The scent is a bit strong for my taste and lingers for a while. : A light, refreshing product that does the job if you want radiance. I found that my skin felt soft and even right after application. 🍊 Day Cream – Glow Reveal Day Cream: + Creamy and lovely consistency that feels soft even in the jar. + Easy to massage in and works well on top of other steps in the routine. + Provides a nice glow, good under makeup or for a natural glow day. – For me, it wasn't moisturizing enough, even though I use several hydrating steps. – Here too, I find the scent a bit too strong. A cozy cream that gives radiance, but didn't quite meet my dry skin's need for deep hydration. ⚠️ Skin Reaction Unfortunately, my skin reacted to some of the products – or maybe the combination. After a few days of use, I got small bumps on my forehead and over my nose. Super cozy gift!
I have been using the Nordic-C Glow Boost Essence and Glow Moisturizer for a few weeks now, and I must say that I am very satisfied with the results. I think the combination makes the skin a bit fresher, softer, and more hydrated, and after a couple of weeks, I also noticed that it has gained more glow and a more even tone. The serum is light and absorbs quickly without being sticky, which makes it work well even under makeup. It feels refreshing on the skin and has a nice fresh scent. The cream has a gel-like consistency that is cool and fresh, and it moisturizes well without feeling heavy or greasy. It also has the fresh scent of citrus and berries, which I find uplifting. As #lykoinfutester I got to try the Nordic-C Feel Good Glow Gift Set by lumene. The set comes in a beautiful package with winter motive artwork and interesting details. The set has 2 products: Glow Boost Essence 30 ml Glow Moisturizer 50 ml Both enriched with vitamin C and antioxidants from nordic cloudberries. I’m in my 30s and have combination skin. I’m used to c vitamin serums and use it in combination with other skincare on daily basis. The serum is nice and gentle C serum. I feel like even those with more sensitive skin can use it. It has a very strong fruit/citrus scent though and I’m not sure that it would be appropriate by everyone. It’s not unpleasant for me but something to be aware of. The cream I have used before, it has a light formula but is very hydrating and lovely for winter days. Works very well under makeup and provides moisture during the day. This product is also scented with almost the same notes I would say. Overall I think it’s a cute and good starter pack kit as a gift to someone or to enjoy yourself. Incredibly beautiful Christmas gift! but didn't fit me
The first impression was how beautiful the box it came in was! The color perfectly reflects the products, and the design fits perfectly for Christmas😍 I started with joy to try the products. The first impression is that the products have an intense citrus/orange scent. Strong scent is something I notice is a characteristic among Lumene's skincare products. This can be a miss for those who can't handle strong scents. But right on target for those who love fragrances. Taste and preference☺️ I noticed some days it became a bit much, while on other days I liked it. The second impression is that the serum absorbs quickly into the skin and gives a lovely glow. The same goes for the cream. I used the combo daily for about a week, but had to stop as I felt my skin didn't like these products. My skin didn't necessarily get worse, but I noticed I missed my other products that I think suit my sensitive combination skin better. I didn't get intensely red or itchy, so I didn't react badly to the products. But I felt that my skin in the long run couldn't breathe. I therefore did a deep cleanse and went back to my own products. I feel these products are well-suited for those who may have drier and tired skin. Because if there was one thing they did well, it was precisely that - a fresh glow to the face. Which is nice especially at this time of year. But unfortunately, it didn't suit my skin. Something I still struggle with. But I'm glad I got to test them. The last thing was that I also didn't feel they worked well with my makeup? I tried to wait until it was properly absorbed, even though I felt it did so instantly? Throughout the day, I could on some days roll off my makeup with my finger… not so pleasant. I have been testing this lovely kit with serum & face cream, rich in vitamin C & antioxidants that give glow to the skin for a few weeks now. I must admit that I am quite picky with my skincare, it is important that new additions fit well with my existing products. And most importantly - they need to add something, I need to see a difference in my skin, otherwise they can't stay. This series is quite rich in fragrance, both products have a strong citrus scent & I think the scent lasts quite a while, so those of you who are sensitive to fragrance should probably think twice about this 🍊 The serum has a very light consistency, a bit runny but still easy to work with and absorbs quickly. Gives a nice glow ✨ The cream is super lovely in consistency, easy to work with and absorbs quickly. However, I find that it gets a bit sticky afterwards. Intense Scent
The Serum: The serum is quite thin and runny, and already when you open it, you can smell how strong the citrus scent is. The scent is very intense. It spreads easily on the skin and settles nicely, but right after application, the skin becomes a bit sticky. Fortunately, it goes away when you apply a moisturizer afterward. On days when the skin is a bit extra sensitive, I noticed that it could sting a little, and the scent became almost a bit "too much". I'm also not a fan of strong citrus scents in general, so that doesn't help. When it comes to effectiveness, the serum provides decent moisture – but it's not something I became a super fan of or feel that I MUST use. I prefer other alternatives. The Cream: The cream is a bit hard to figure out. Some days it works great, provides lots of moisture, and gives the skin a nice glow. But then you have those days when the skin doesn't cooperate, and then the cream starts to pill and clump. It's especially annoying if you want to put on makeup afterward, because the makeup doesn't sit well on this. Same problem as with the serum: the scent. It's intense, lingers, and I felt a bit of stinging here too on the more sensitive days. Both products simply feel quite perfumed, and for me, it became a bit too much... __________ The positive thing is that the set looks very nice and is a perfect gift if you want to give something a bit luxurious without paying too much. It would probably suit someone who isn't too into skincare or who tolerates perfumed products better. For me, unfortunately, it didn't work out completely. My skin didn't always like it, the makeup didn't look good over it, and the scent was too strong. But as a gift for someone else? Absolutely. Just not my personal favorite. I might consider other gift sets from Lumene like Nordic hydra or All smooth firming. Lumene surprises once again with this incredibly beautiful gift set!! A perfect gift now that Christmas is approaching. The packaging itself is a gift. It comes with a nice Christmas motif that sparkles, and with some descriptive words about the products inside that make trying these even more tempting. The vitamin C serum is absolutely lovely. It gives a nice glow, has a light consistency that absorbs easily into the skin, and provides a more even complexion after prolonged use. It has helped me with areas where I typically get red, like around the nose. When it comes to the cream, this is a perfect match. It provides good moisture, especially now that winter is here and many of us struggle with a bit drier skin. It’s also very good to use under makeup!! I have been so lucky to test Lumene's lovely skincare set with a delightful serum and moisturizer enriched with vitamin C and arctic cloudberries. They have a refreshing citrus scent and smell absolutely amazing 🍋🍊 The serum's consistency is lovely and smooth, not sticky and not too thin. It provides lots of moisture and glow, despite having sensitive, dry, and combination skin. It comes with a dropper that makes it easy to apply. The moisturizer has the same lovely scent and is a light and good cream over sunscreen and/or under makeup. For me, this is a light day cream, but alone it doesn't provide as much moisture as I would wish for my skin. But it doesn't give me breakouts or redness and suits my sensitive skin type, which is a big plus🥰 This is a great set where you get a lot for your money, and these two products together give you a truly lovely glow, something they promise to deliver😍 I can really recommend this set. Winter Glow ✨
For a little while now, I have been testing this glow kit from Lumene 💫 now that autumn is underway and winter is approaching - my face needs more moisture and care. I want to point out that in the videos, I have done my eyebrows and eyes, but not the rest of my face 🥰 The glow boost essence has a warm and subtle citrus scent from the orange family or 🍊 I loved the pipette so that I could choose to apply a few drops to my face or in my hand. Personally, I choose the palm of my hand and then I pat it in first before finishing with some moisturizing exercises. The essence serum has a thin/thick gel feel, but feels soft on the skin. It is important to let the serum absorb well before applying the face cream! However, I do not find the serum to be economical in use 🫣 The glow moisturizer has a light orange color with a fresh citrus scent 🍊 Light consistency that is easy to work with - remember to apply to the neck as well ❤️ this has been a dream to have under makeup, which is a plus in my book, it is also a cream that I feel you will want to have for a few months - which is yet another plus. This duo is supposed to give the skin a radiant glow. Two products enriched with energizing vitamin C and antioxidant-rich Nordic cloudberry are supposed to leave the skin with a natural glow. The set includes Glow Boost Essence 30 ml and Glow Moisturizer 50 ml. The products come in a lovely box that can be used to store things later. The serum smells very good and is easy to apply. I was tasked by Reviewclub to review the Lumene Nordic Hydra Serum, I noticed that I got dry on my nose and forehead from it, so I probably won't continue with this product. Rosé Gold Hair
Or maybe rosé silver 😌 because the shade is quite cool. But pink shade anyway. I have continued to mix a little differently depending on where in the hair it should be applied. The underhair is quite dark blonde, so there I have more of the pink. In the overhair, I have more of beige blonde, and closest to the face, I have even more mixing. This time I tried to mix it with shampoo because I’ve heard it can be easier to distribute evenly that way. Yes, it was actually a bit easier to distribute (even though it feels wrong to mix shampoo and treatment 😅) I added a little bit of cacao intense this time so it wouldn’t become too red-pink. Cacao intense is very cool, so it gives that effect. I’m satisfied! Maybe it became a little too little pink in the front, but I enjoy being able to vary how much pink I want/don’t want to show, and it’s still more pink than if I hadn’t put anything in. This is the finest foundation I have ever tried! It applies so nicely and gives an even result. It also gives a bit of glow, but also a glow that can be toned down with powder if desired. It is thin, but still provides a good amount of coverage. I use their CC cream over the times I want more coverage, and they melt together like a dream✨😍 It stays nice throughout the day, no matter how much/little you use.
