I bought hair dye here in India at a small shop in our neighborhood where we are renting a house. We are off on a mini trip for a few days. I had the brilliant idea to dye my hair at the hotel here because the pressure in the shower at the house leaves a lot to be desired.. Important to have a lot of moisture, vitamin C, and sunscreen here ☀️😍 I wash with my pads from torriden first to give my skin a good start to the routine. Then in with my beloved antibacterial spray, propolis, vitamin C, niacinamide, and my dear peptide serum from Medik8 🤩 Then I apply my favorite sunscreen that is good for my acne-prone skin and gives such a nice glow 💖 Unfortunately, it’s not available here. Peel to heal 🤗
My skin has been a bit troublesome with me, but it has calmed down now. But due to annoying pimples that constantly insist on visiting like annoying relatives in an American soap opera, I have gotten scars. I tried this mask on the first day we arrived in India to prepare the skin for the sun, as well as help the skin get rid of the scars. I used it in the evening, and of course sunscreen spf 50 the next day and only tanned for an hour. It smells a bit like gingerbread, smells so good! But I resisted, with great difficulty, to eat it.. I applied it with some wet fingers as instructed. It feels a bit burning on the skin, but nothing uncomfortable. After 5 minutes, I rinsed it off. The skin felt soft and smooth, but I can't claim that I got any of the promised glow. However, I do think it helped the skin to "heal the scars better". It helped my other products to heal. I also believe that the tan has become more even and sustainable because I started with a good peeling. Nice color, but revenge on my arch-nemesis!
I gradually introduced this and forgot to incorporate another product into my skincare routine. But after just a few uses, my arch-nemesis: the pimples got their long-awaited revenge and marched in full force, invading my face with a victorious grin! ⚔️😾 Me, being as stubborn as a pig, certainly did not want to see myself defeated so easily! I fought on, but my loyal companion by my side (my skincare products if you got lost in my messy story), but not even with them by my side could we defeat these overwhelming enemies.
