Accessibility statement
Accessibility statement for Lyko.com
We at Lyko Sverige AB, owners of this website, want as many people as possible to be able to use Lyko.com and Lyko app regardless of individual circumstances. Here we describe how we work with accessibility, what possible shortcomings exist today and how you can report perceived obstacles.
How accessible is the website and app?
We strive for our platforms Lyko.com and Lyko-app to be possible to perceive, manage, understand and be robust. All in accordance with the standard EN301549 and the guidelines WCAG 2.1 levels A and AA.
How we tested the website
We have commissioned an external party to carry out an accessibility analysis of our website (lyko.com/sv) with the help of trained accessibility experts. Based on the analysis, we work systematically to remedy identified shortcomings.
We supplement this with internal tests in daily development where we use tools such as NVDA, Wave and accessibility-adapted component libraries.
- Current version of the website published: October 2017
- Latest external accessibility analysis: 21 January 2025

The following content is not yet available:
Contrast ratios between text and background (WCAG 1.4.3, 1.4.11)
We recognize that proper contrast ratios between content and background are of the utmost importance for users with visual and color vision impairments. We are currently working on updating the color palette to achieve good accessibility for the following:
- Grey text against a light background.
- Some elements such as buttons, filters, and icons.
- In some blocks (for example: Banner, Looks, User images) there is text on image where contrast is not always enough.
- Orange color used for promotional pricing and error messages
Forms lack clear labels and error handling (WCAG 3.3.1, 3.3.2, 4.1.2)
- Forms on the site today have a design that does not contain fixed labels
- Incorrectly filled fields or forcing fields aren't read aloud to screen readers
- Error messages do not always provide clear explanations of what is wrong
Alt texts on images (WCAG 1.1.1, 1.4.5)
- Some images lack descriptive alt texts. Our image bank is continuously updated every day with alt texts. If you want an explanation for a specific image that currently lacks alt text, contact customer service.
