I started using it three times a week, then slowly moved up to every other night. Now I use it every night as part of my nighttime skincare routine. I think it’s gentle enough that I didn’t worry too much about purging, but I would still recommend taking it slow when introducing it to your routine and letting your skin adjust. A little really goes a long way with this one. I use probably half a pump for my eyes and two pumps for my face and neck. The biggest difference I’ve noticed is in my undereyes. They look noticeably brighter and more even, to the point where I genuinely don’t feel like I need to wear concealer every day anymore. Favorite eye cream that I unfortunately have to say goodbye to :(
I have used this eye cream for about two years (?) and have absolutely nothing negative to say about it. It has an incredibly comfortable texture and doesn’t sting the eyes, unlike many other eye creams. Truly a strong favorite! However, once this runs out, I have to try to find a new favorite as I’m going to start treatment with tretinoin cream and don’t dare to combine it with an eye cream containing retinal. I have previously used it together with Epiduo, which contains adapalene, and had no problems then. But since tretinoin is a bit harsher on the skin, I guess I have to say goodbye to this eye cream for a while at least. For those of you who don’t use prescription retinoids, I can strongly recommend this! Maybe even for those who use tretinoin, etc. I’m not an expert, so maybe it’s possible to use them together but I’m not quite brave enough. If anyone has a tip for a good eye cream I can switch to, please feel free to comment! Anyway, this eye cream gets a 5/5 from me. I use Cosrx's eye cream, apply it under my eyes, and then place these under my eyes for about 10 - 15 minutes. Remember after use to wash them thoroughly before putting them back in the box to use them again. 🙏I have now tested this eye cream for about 4 weeks, and here are my thoughts, first a little about my "eye skin". - A bit on the drier side. - Some crow's feet that aren't super deep yet. - Not directly sensitive in the eye area. - The eye cream is part of my daily skincare routine, and I have tested a ton of eye creams over the past few years. - Sad bags under the eyes! 🤖What I think about the packaging: - The glass jar looks incredibly luxurious. Personally, I prefer pump or tube, but I have no problem with a jar as long as the result is good. - A spatula is included, but I have to be honest and admit that I typically use it the first three times, then I can't be bothered. AND, I feel like my hands are always clean when I do my skincare routine, so I'm not worried about bacteria getting into the jar. 😻The result: - Visible results are promised after 5 days, but I'm a bit unsure if I can agree with that. - However, after these four weeks, I actually think I look a bit more refreshed around the eyes. I think it’s because the dryness wrinkles have been reduced. - Incredibly economical. A minimal amount is enough, if you take just a little too much, it takes time to absorb (which I like in the evening) - There are some light-reflecting particles in it, which contribute to a more awake look. - Super nice rich/thick consistency and really moisturizes well! 🤐The only thing I might miss is that it doesn't do much for the bags, but that's not something it promises either. 💰It costs quite a bit, but I would still say it's worth the money as it will last incredibly long.
