Here are my conclusions from the battlefield. 👁️ Black duel (Premium vs Market): To draw black eye sockets and nose, I tested two black pencils: the iconic Shiseido Kajal InkArtist and the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil (Black Bean). And you know what? NYX simply falls short compared to Shiseido! The NYX pencil is much less pigmented, the black comes out pale and lacks depth. Year after year, I’ve had the chance to test new releases and form a great opinion about them. Last year, in Flaconi’s calendar, I found the Powder Love version, which turned out to be gorgeous and very floral 🌸. This year, Flaconi served me the Ex Vetiver version – a definitely stronger and more expressive scent 🌿, but still wonderful in its own way. However, it was this year’s calendar from Lyko that brought me the biggest surprise in the form of a 10 ml miniature of the iconic “Not A Perfume.” This small bottle completely stole my heart and enchanted me so much that I immediately decided to buy the full-size 50 ml bottle 😍. An extra treat is the fact that the box of the large bottle has a sticker celebrating the 15th anniversary of this iconic scent, making this edition even more special. Visually, the whole series looks incredibly minimalist, elegant, and luxurious. The product is packed in a box, and inside we find a black, elegant case with embossed decorations and the brand name, where the bottles are safely nestled. The white packaging and bottles make an amazing impression on the vanity next to other cosmetics. The large bottle impresses with details – the matte bottle has beautiful, subtle embossing in the background, and elegant, logo-embossed brand names are also found on the top of the cap and the bottom of the bottle, adding exceptional class. The scent “Not A Perfume” is something incredible to me, mainly because these are unique molecular perfumes. Their formula is based on a single synthetic ingredient called Cetalox. Because it’s a molecular composition, the perfume can smell completely different on each person, blending with the natural scent of our skin. On me, it releases a beautiful, warm, and enveloping sweetness, very reminiscent of vanilla. The scent is sensual, clean, incredibly pleasant, and so captivating that it immediately lifts the mood. Unfortunately, this molecular magic also has its darker side, and initially, when I opened the large bottle, I thought it was a textbook “scent bait.” I noticed that the 10 ml miniature smelled intense, spacious, and incredibly long-lasting on me, while the large 50 ml bottle after spraying seemed almost imperceptible – like pure water 🥹. As it turned out, this is not deception but an example of so-called selective anosmia, i.e., smell blindness. The large cloud from the atomizer can instantly “block” our receptors, so we ourselves feel the scent very briefly, and it becomes a barely noticeable, skin-close memory. The smaller dose from the miniature allows our nose to slowly get used to the scent without sudden shock. Interestingly, the surroundings still detect a beautiful trail behind us, even when we ourselves think the scent has already gone. The post was made 1 weekIt was supposed to be a hit, but it turned out to be a flop... 💔 My rating is a solid 3/5 ⭐⭐⭐ We're talking about Benton Vitamin C Serum, which was supposed to be a revolution in fighting pigmentation and dull skin tone. After a longer testing period, I have very mixed feelings about it. Although the product has its pluses in adding glow to the skin, it simply failed in the most important aspect. My skin is dry, mature, and I have slight pigmentation on my cheeks. For me, serum is the most important, most concentrated step in my entire skincare routine – it delivers active ingredients that penetrate deeper into the epidermis. Without it, the rest of the cosmetics, including regular cream, only work superficially. I reached for the vitamin C serum mainly to reduce my pigmentation. 🧴 Regarding the packaging, the product has a hygienic airless pump that protects the cosmetic from air exposure. This allows perfect dosing of the needed amount of product down to the last drop. Visually, the packaging looks very neat and aesthetic. The product itself has a thick, slightly milky emulsion consistency resembling a light cream. Under the influence of the warmth of hands and face, the serum becomes more fluid. However, it leaves a close, greasy film on the face and absorbs very slowly on me. 🔥 During application on the face, neck, and décolleté, a distinct, temporary warming sensation appears on the skin. This is a normal physical phenomenon because the serum has an anhydrous base and when it meets the natural moisture on the face, it releases heat. This effect disappears after a few seconds. At first, the scent of this serum is almost imperceptible, only after some time does it intensify. Minute by minute it becomes stronger and more characteristic, metallic. For me, it became so intense that I was forced to apply it only every third day, as only that frequency allowed me to use it. 🔬 According to the manufacturer's promises, this product is supposed to brighten pigmentation, even out skin tone, and stimulate collagen production. It contains: 20% pure Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) – maximum concentration, which theoretically acts on pigment changes and can stimulate collagen production long-term. Ferulic Acid + Vitamin E (Tocopherol) – a dream duo that perfectly stabilizes vitamin C and enhances its protective effect against photoaging. Ectoin and Panthenol – ingredients that strongly strengthen the skin's protective barrier, deeply moisturize, and reduce the risk of irritation with such a strong acid. Glutathione and Adenosine – act strongly anti-wrinkle and reduce dull complexion. It's also worth checking the ingredients. In the INCI, you will find synthetic stabilizing polymers, which are commonly classified as liquid microplastics. They are safe in cosmetics and responsible for the creamy consistency, but if someone is looking for completely natural skincare, this is a big minus. The packaging states that the product should be used within 6 months of opening. Despite the passage of these 6 months, I was not able to use it up because it is incredibly efficient. Applying a small amount every third day, using up 30 ml is almost impossible for me. Using Benton vitamin C product, I did not notice spectacular effects. The skin was smoother to the touch, more radiant, maybe the serum stimulated collagen production, but I somehow did not notice it. Just as my pigmentation did not even slightly lighten. When we combine the lack of effect with the annoying metallic smell, greasy film, and presence of microplastics in the composition – the rating drops significantly, despite my fondness for this brand💔 🚨 When using vitamin C serum, always remember these rules: 1️⃣ Do not combine with retinol or AHA and BHA acids in one routine. 2️⃣ Keep a gap with niacinamide (at least 20 minutes) to avoid redness. 3️⃣ Always apply SPF 50 cream during the day, not only when using this serum. The bottle features a large green label – it’s this deep green of the sticker and the light refraction that gives the packaging a greenish illusion, while the liquid inside is completely clear. The product comes with a very convenient and precise applicator with a characteristic elongated tip-nozzle and a snap-on lock. This allows hygienic direct application to the hair roots and partings without wasting product. The full-size bottle is packed in a minimalist, elegant box in natural, light beige with the brand’s characteristic green texture on the front. The packaging perfectly reflects the ecological philosophy of the Korean brand, made 100% from recycled paper, and the inscriptions are printed with eco-friendly soy ink. It looks extremely clean, luxurious, and classy. 👃In the composition of this essence, you will find a range of valuable active substances with strong stimulating effects. The base consists of rosemary leaf extract (as much as 32.3%) and pure rosemary oil, which improve microcirculation of the scalp and strengthen weakened follicles. Accompanying them is ginger extract, which has a mildly warming effect, stimulating dormant hair follicles to intensive work. The formula is enriched with caffeine, biotin, and a complex of black plant extracts (black rice, black sesame), which comprehensively nourish the scalp and inhibit premature hair loss. These ingredients are suspended in an alcohol base, which plays a key role as a penetration promoter, allowing active molecules to effectively penetrate deep into the hair follicles. The cosmetic formula is completely water-based, ultra-light, and volatile. Regarding the scent, at first application it is very pronounced, strong, and intensely herbal. However, over time it gradually dissipates and becomes very delicate and subtle on the hair. Anyone who likes such natural, herbal notes on the head will certainly get used to it quickly. I use the lotion as a stimulating treatment exclusively after washing my hair – every second or third day, exactly when I wash my head. 🚨 I want to emphasize here a very important rule: due to the presence of alcohol in the composition, this product should not be used daily. Daily use of alcohol-based lotions drastically dries out the scalp, destroys the skin’s protective barrier, and ultimately leads to painful dandruff, irritation, and even increased hair loss. With my thin hair, daily application of such strong substances would have the opposite effect. Also remember that such strong herbal extracts are used in autumn and winter – using them in summer combined with scorching sun could burn the sensitive scalp and damage the hair structure at the roots. Immediately after spraying the partings with this watery mist, a very pleasant, stimulating, and warming heat is immediately felt on the scalp, a sign that circulation has been stimulated and the active ingredients have started to work. This effect should not be confused with irritation. Then I perform a several-minute massage using a professional black massager with silicone protrusions or dedicated combs with metal balls, which further enhances the absorption of active ingredients. If you don’t have such gadgets in your collection, you can successfully perform such a massage with your fingertips; the most important thing is regularity and the fact of stimulating scalp blood flow. For me, the effects are satisfactory, the product stimulates the follicles well to grow, and I already have a noticeable "baby hair" bloom on my head🥰 The only downside of this treatment is that with regular use I noticed a slight acceleration of scalp oiliness. These from Shiseido fit well. 🌃 I've started wearing them at night. I sleep with them on, and they naturally fall off over the hours. ✨ Remember to put on some serum or other moisture under the eye masks for optimal effect! I sometimes use them on bare skin, but best with even more moisture underneath. 🌬️ It has a mild scent that gives me nothing but a good feeling, and is gentle on the skin. 🩵 I highly recommend the product. The post was made 9 monthsEvening look/ testing the Shiseido Skin Radiant liftingI tried an evening look tonight and I’m honestly so happy with how the base turned out ✨ I don’t have false lashes or a good mascara yet, but the skin is stunning. Prep: I did some preparation (not a lot bcz it was very spontaneous). I used the glow serum and cream from LUMENE and started putting foundation on humid skin! As you can see the result is very #glowy and #shiny 😁 Base: I used the shiseido skin Radiant Lifting Foundation with the NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP 3C Conceal Correct and wow… I can’t describe my happiness of the result. I have dry skin and it sat perfectly, smooth, glowy, and super comfortable 💫 Good coverage for my dark under-eye circles and the veins around my nose so well while still looking natural. It blended with the correctors from Nyx without problem. It’s amazingly buildable and never went cakey, even after setting the layers with the correctors, concealer and later the #elf #bronzer. #shiseido #skin #radiant #lifting is a dream foundation for dry skin 🌸 it gives a radiant glow as promised and I set it with the LHcosmetics setting powder, which is light as feather, penetrates the skin pores and gives you a real-life filter on your face. The post was made 1 yearsRating: 4 out of 5Verifierad testareWished for a bit more glowI have now had the chance to test this glow primer with SPF, the first thing that struck me is the smart packaging, I love tubes as it is easier to dose the amount and more hygienic! I have used this product as my 4th step every morning, first serum, then eye cream, face cream, and finally this one, it has worked super well, it locks in the moisture from both the day cream and serum so that the skin stays hydrated all day, plus it protects against free radicals and harmful light! You need about 2-3 fingers of product, just like with all other SPF, it goes on super nicely on the skin and both sinks in but also leaves a well-hydrated, plump, and glowy surface that is perfect under makeup! It smells good and it really feels like the fine lines disappear after use, all dryness lines are like gone! It really fulfills its function as a primer, I have also mixed it with my skintint foundation and liquid highlighter which has given me the perfect base. I have combination skin but I always feel dry and sensitive around the eyes, this one has not irritated my eyes (except when I accidentally got it in my eyes, do not recommend 😂), it feels very gentle, I have not had any irritations at all! I would recommend this primer for all ages, it is a perfect base and works year-round, even though it can be good to add an SPF 30-50 as extra protection during the hottest months. When I see that a product is called “glow” then I want ✨GLOW✨, and I expected glow, it barely gives a “hydrated” finish, however, it gives an incredible result when mixed with my foundation and highlighter as mentioned, but with that said I only give it 4/5 stars. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #SHISEIDO1 product in post Wished for a bit more glow
