Brutally honest review
I tried Xlash Calming Eye Gels after looking like a substitute who sat on the bench through an entire football World Cup without getting a minute of sleep. The difference from Awakening Eye Gels is noticeable immediately. These don’t scream "UP AND AT 'EM!" Instead, they lean forward, put a hand on your shoulder, and say: "Hey, let’s take it easy instead. Breathe, we’ll sort this out." The ingredient list includes aloe vera, centella asiatica, and hyaluronic acid. In short, it feels like a Buddhist monk, a skincare therapist, and a glass of ice-cold water have started a retreat for my eyes. The cooling sensation is absolutely amazing. I stored them in the fridge as I usually do with my eye gels, and when I put them on, it felt like someone pressed a giant "mute" button for my whole face. My brain was still stressed about everything I should be doing, but my skin had already gone on vacation. It felt like the area under my eyes had received the same treatment as a World Cup player after 90 minutes: ice bath, recovery, and a five-star rehab before the next match. And they stick just as well as the Awakening Eye Gels. You can walk around at home, tidy up, make coffee, and ponder life’s big questions without them sliding around like two wet cheese slices. After use: 15 minutes later, the area under my eyes looked like it had been to a spa while the rest of my face was still waiting in line at reception. The puffiness? Gone. The skin? Like it finally got a vacation after a whole season without a substitute. So now when I look in the mirror, I at least look like a person who has control over their life. These Hydra Glow PDRN Eye Patches are definitely worth the hype! I’ve been using eye patches since I can remember and tried everything under the sun, and these ones were definitely a positive surprise. I have to say I had my doubts but I will most definitely buy these again. I’ve been so lucky to get to test these eye patches from #xlash as #lykoinflutester 🌸 ✨ I often struggle with eye patches sliding all over my face, so I was very curious if these would stay in place – and they did! They slid a bit in the first few minutes, but after settling, they stayed very well. Hooray! ✨ I actually felt that the serum absorbed well into the skin, instead of just sitting on top like I often experience with other patches. ✨ It was incredibly nice and soothing to put them on the skin straight from the fridge ❄️ ✨ I also really liked the packaging. Each pair comes in its own little pack, which feels both hygienic and practical. ⚠️ Unfortunately, my sensitive skin reacted to these. I got red rashes in the areas where the patches had been throughout the day, and the next day I had several red and burning small blisters on my skin – a bit like the feeling of being severely sunburned. These eye gel pads provide plenty of moisture and feel very comfortable on the skin. They cool well, stay nicely in place, and the area under the eyes looks fresher and more hydrated after use. I also find that the skin becomes softer and smoother. I deduct one star because the packaging contains unnecessarily much plastic. The product itself is very good, but it would be nice with more environmentally friendly packaging. I got to test these under-eye gels, and after the first use, they quickly became a permanent part of my routine🩷. The patches are a nice size and cover the entire under-eye area well. My skin is combination, but the eye area is often dry and sometimes looks tired😅. I use the patches for about 15-30 minutes on cleansed skin, and afterwards, the under-eye area feels moisturized and looks noticeably fresher. I liked that the patches stay well in place during use. I keep them in the fridge before use, which gives a cooling sensation that makes the experience even more pleasant. I've been so incredibly lucky to get to test these #xlash Eye Gel Patches as #lykoinflutester 👏🏼 Previously, I've used their eyelash serum and been very satisfied! A bit about my skin: combination with occasional blemishes, young skin, dry in winter & autumn, redness, dark circles under the eyes as a toddler mom and nurse. The product comes in a box with 5 separate pairs – genius if you're traveling or out and about and need a boost 💜 Nice and timeless design! The eye patches themselves are well wrapped and protected. They also look fresh with both logo and purple color 👏🏼 I experience no particular smell or skin reaction upon use. I've stored these in the fridge for an immediate cooling effect when applying, which also gives a soothing feeling. Before application, the skin is clean and dry 💜 They contain Korean hydrogel technology to provide maximum comfort and effect. The patches stay in place whether you're relaxing at home on the couch, need some extra self care in the morning, applying makeup, or on the go! Time needed? Minimum 15 minutes while enjoying a coffee for example ☕️ I prefer to place the widest side towards the nose to cover the largest possible area under the eyes and because I'm dry around the nose. Real everyday luxury to take out cold eye patches from the fridge in the morning🫧 I like that they are individually packaged, so convenient to bring along! I also think these feel thicker than similar products that come in multi-packs in jars, and they definitely don’t slide around as much. I was so lucky to receive XLASH’s Hydra Glow PDRN Eye Gels to test out, like #lykoinflutester 🩵 I’m 35 years old, have normal to dry skin, which can be a bit sensitive at times. Luckily, I don’t struggle with dark circles or bags under my eyes, but I love using eye patches to prevent and provide maximum moisture to the area under my eyes. My first impression when I opened the first pack of these was that they were sooo juicy! The serum really dripped from the pack 💦 I keep them in the fridge, so they were very cooling and soothing on the skin. I wore them for 30 minutes, and the patches stayed well on the skin without slipping down and felt very comfortable. They are also a bit bigger than regular eye patches in a box, which I really like. They cover larger areas under the eyes ☺️ The result was basically like other eye patches I use, no wow effect (because I don’t have issues with dark circles or bags). BUT that’s by no means negative! The skin under my eyes felt super plump, hydrated, and soothed 🩵 And I didn’t get any reactions under my eyes after use. I like to massage in the remaining serum under my eyes and let it absorb before applying other skincare and makeup. I also think the concealer applied very nicely under the eyes after using these patches. It says these eye patches should: ▫️Give firmer and more youthful skin ▫️Give a beer glow ▫️Strengthen the skin barrier ▫️Strengthen and rebuild the skin ..But to see these visible results, I probably need to use more than just the 5 packs included and use them regularly over a longer period. So unfortunately, I can’t say anything about these results 😅 Therefore, I give them 4/5 stars. But I’m very happy they contain PDRN, as I’ve become very fond of skincare with PDRN lately 🐟 The packaging can also be discussed both positively and negatively. You get less product for your money than if you bought a box with 30 patches (15 uses = 30 kr per use). While these cost 50 kr per use – at full price, not on sale. But considering the quality, ingredients, and the Korean hydrogel technology in these, they are definitely worth it 🩵 Also, it’s genius to be able to bring one or two packs on trips or on the go if you need a little moisture boost before a special occasion. All in all, I can absolutely recommend these! I was sooooo happy when I got a message that a package was on its way from Lyko & I got to be a tester for Xlash's eye patches! I've heard a lot of good things about Xlash's products, so it was extra fun to get to try these out! I really liked that they came in separate packages, they were easy to take out of the packaging & put on. They had the right amount of serum & didn’t slide around on the skin, they stayed on really well, which is a big plus for me! They gave a lot of moisture & calmed down swollen eyes. These are eye gels for those of us who like hefty masks under the eyes – they moisturize and brighten a large area under the eyes, which I really like. Nice self care moment
I received the product to test from Lyko, and this is the first time I’ve used any kind of "eye masks." The product itself was pleasant on the skin, the cool feeling refreshes nicely, and the skin looked slightly elastic after the patches. A small minus, however, is that the product is single-use. I believe the product could also work well in a more ecological form, without producing so much plastic waste. Very comfortable
I actually thought these eye patches were really good. They feel comfortable under the eyes and moisturize well. Perfect when you're tired or want to give your skin a little extra glow. The only thing that lowers the rating is the price. I think they are a bit too expensive for the amount you get, even though the product itself works well. If they were a bit cheaper, they would get full marks from me. Soothing and Refreshing 💜
When I got the message that these were on their way home to me – I screamed with joy! I LOVE eye patches 😍 I usually use Xlash’s in a jar, so I was very excited to test these! These Hydra Glow PDRN Eye Gels are supposed to immediately boost glow, provide deep hydration, and visibly reduce puffiness around tired eyes. I can truly say they do! The last few months have been the final stretch of my bachelor’s degree with submitting my thesis, exams, and the first trimester of pregnancy. The recipe for tired and worn-out eyes 👀 These have been a lifesaver for me. The eyes quickly feel soothed, refreshed, and the puffiness around the eyes calms down immediately.
