Not a good match for me
Unfortunately, Klairs face mask does not match my specific skin type. But that doesn’t mean it’s bad. 🤔 My skin type is light, mature, and dry. I have reached menopause and no longer have as much oil in my skin as I did just a couple of years ago. So that means I haven’t quite figured it out yet. 🌿 Klairs face mask contains substances from algae and plants that are meant to create a film that locks in moisture. I found this film very uncomfortable. It was especially uncomfortable on my neck and chest. 🧴 I tried applying more cream, but then it never fully dried and became sticky. I also tried moisturizing the skin before the cream, but with the same result. 😔 The cream obviously has a tightening effect and binds moisture. So basically, it should be perfect for me at my age. But there is something about my skin and the cream that didn’t work together. 💗 It’s a shame because this is a very good cream. I can see that from the other reviews. But not everything suits everyone. 💗 I had no reactions and perceive the cream as mild and gentle. 🕰️ I only used the cream for 4-5 days and can’t say anything about long-term results. 🫧 I think the jar is pretty, but personally, I’m not so fond of jars. Tubes are more convenient and often more hygienic. 🍋 The scent is fresh, of lemon and flowers. The scent does not come from perfume but from essential oils. The scent is discreet. 🫧First impression Exactly like the other Biodance masks - a collagen mask and not a sheet mask, easy to apply, cooling 🧖🏻♀️ Usage Had this mask on for 5 hours (which is longer than the previous times I tried it). I see many miss skincare BEFORE applying the mask, so a reminder on that! Finished with a moisturizing cream afterwards ✨ Result Oh, I don’t want to, but I have to say this unfortunately did not live up to expectations. It was not soothing at all, but stung quite a bit, and my face was just as matte afterwards as before applying. 📦 First impression Just like the pink one, the mask is made of collagen and is not the typical sheet mask. Fragrance-free and sticks to the face like a sticker, super convenient! If you have long nails, you should be a bit careful so it doesn’t get holes and pieces get torn off, unfortunately this one was massacred by my nails, but it still did its job 😂 💄 Usage The instructions say to wear the mask for 2-4 hours because that’s how long it takes for the collagen to absorb into the skin, or alternatively wear it overnight. This time I tried the full 4 hours, next mask will probably be overnight then 🤭 ✨ Result I don’t know if I felt a big difference between wearing the mask 2 or 4 hours, but the result was great. WARNING! Open the packaging carefully and from the top. I thought this had holes on the side, on both sides (see picture 2) where you were supposed to open the packaging. As is common with many packages. Don’t do that! You can see how I looked when I opened it. Powder got everywhere. More than what you can see. I got irritated and negative. After mixing it, I didn’t like the look or the smell (not strongly unpleasant, just not good). So I threw the whole thing away without using it. Probably mostly because I got a lot on me, which bothered me. Glad I got it in a lovable and a bit sad that I didn’t take more masks.
