💜 I needed an affordable option for use after training, especially after having my hair in chlorinated water. 💜 After researching and reading a bit, I chose Elvital Hyaluron Pure Purifying Shampoo. 💜 My hair risks becoming drier than it already is when I'm in chlorinated water, I have to blow-dry it afterwards, then put a hat over my hair and go out in freezing temperatures. 💜 The hyaluronic acid ensures moisture in the lengths. 💜 I don't have scalp problems, but I still wanted a shampoo that could cleanse hair and scalp after contact with chemicals and pollution. 💜 Salicylic acid does that for me. 💜 The shampoo smells strong but nice, and removes all traces of chlorine smell. I would say it has a typical floral scent that many cheaper shampoos have. The scent lasts long and can conflict with perfume. 💜 This is a shampoo I take with me, whether it's to the gym or on a trip. Then it's not such a big deal if I lose it, compared to bringing my more expensive shampoo. 💜 I get a lot for the money. 💜 I like the design a lot. The cap is easy to flip off and on, and hasn't broken even with rough handling. Yes, because on the body it has a very short duration. 🌞 Sol De Janeiro is an American brand inspired by the popular beaches of Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. 🌞 The mists from Sol De Janeiro are among the most popular mists, and it’s not hard to see why. 🌞 Cheirosa 87 Rio Radiance Perfume Mist smells strongly of coconut, tuberose, and vanilla. Scents that have been trending for a good while. 🌞 But those sensitive to perfume should stay far away, as the scent is intense. It doesn’t last especially long, so I think most are tempted to use it as recommended, in the hair and on clothes. 🌞 This is not a scent for the mature woman, at least not daily, but maybe for use at the beach. 🌞 I think this scent is aimed particularly at younger people. There are many good products out there, but I always come back to Embryolisse. 💙 If I have a reaction, Embryolisse quickly calms the skin again. 💙 Because it is mild. It is easy to spread and absorbs quickly. And it suits everything. Under makeup, as a day cream, and as a night mask. It has no scent. 💙 I got this in a LYKO Lovables a while ago. 🤔 I had to think carefully about what I really wanted this year regarding advent calendars. After all, they do cost a bit. 🌨️ The advent season can be dark, and there can be a lot of bad weather, and not least stress. Whether it’s yourself who is stressed or others around you. 🌸 I took that as my starting point and chose wellness as the theme. I wanted a calendar with shower soaps and body lotion in different scents. And The Body Shop’s calendar has that. And more. 💚 But nostalgia was also part of the choice. I first shopped at The Body Shop in the early 90s as a teenager, and into the 2000s. Then I forgot about the brand. 🥰 Now I want to rediscover it. Both the scents and the quality. I want to see if it’s as good as I remember it was. 🎁 I like the box. It’s sturdy enough, there’s nothing to assemble, and there’s not more cardboard than necessary. 💚 I think the box fits well with typical Christmas decorations and it’s not bulky either. It’s nice to look at and I really like the design. ❌ Note! I saw some stories about customers in Sweden who couldn't get this. And I didn't find any Lovables on the Norwegian site. So all of us in other countries couldn't get it either, because it wasn't put up for sale here. It looks really, really good. Old-fashioned
No, this one is not for me, said my husband. I received a sample in my last package from LYKO, and it’s always fun to get little gifts. But this one didn’t hit the mark. I actually find the scent hopelessly old-fashioned. Scents evoke memories, often nostalgia and always emotions. This one took me back to the 80s and 90s. Rosemary and citrus is a typical combination for perfumes and aftershaves that my father, uncles, and male teachers often used once a year when they dressed up – for the Christmas party. And they put on WAY too much. Patchouli was often used in heavier perfumes in the 70s and 80s. Here it’s wrapped in fresh citrus notes, but it doesn’t help. The scent remains outdated to me. But the generation after me doesn’t have these associations and might find this scent very nice. And it probably is, since it has so many elements from popular scents of past generations. And some will also like a scent that reminds them of dad and grandpa. That’s how perfume is. Scents mean different things to different people. I got tired of these scents ten years ago. It’s hopeless to give stars to a scent, but it can’t get more than one star because I really don’t like it. Surprisingly good scent
My husband tests, I write. He has now used up half a bottle of Rituals Homme Hair & Beard Oil and he is very satisfied. He really likes the scent. I agree with him. It is fresh, yet masculine. Rituals really nailed it here. He says the oil is pleasant for the skin, and the beard becomes soft and easy to shape. The design is good and the pump dispenses the right amount.
