Surprisingly good for fine hair
I was convinced this would be too heavy for my hair. It absolutely wasn’t. 🖤 My hair is typically Nordic, many thin strands. Usually, my hair gets heavy and greasy from most products of this type. 🖤 Even though it contains silicones, it worked perfectly. 🖤 And I really like the scent, probably because of good associations from hairdresser visits. To me, the scent has notes of lemon, lavender, and spices. The scent is not overpowering. 🖤 I think the perfume might be too strong for those who don’t like or can’t use perfume. 🖤 The product contains parabens and some allergens that might be negative for some. But on the other hand, ingredients that make hair easy to comb, give shine, and lock in moisture. Also ingredients that strengthen damaged hair. 🖤 I also liked the texture, and it was easy to distribute. 🏆 I got this product with a By Lyko Lovables inspo-kit – a mini of 15 ml. So pretty and so practical🩷
I bought this container as a gift, so I haven't used it over time. But I can say a bit about my first impression: 🩷 The container is surprisingly spacious. 🩷 It is easy to assemble and take apart again. 🩷 It has a good closing mechanism. 🩷 It is made of vegan leather. 🌱 I have looked into how vegan leather should be treated, as it can crack over time since it is not treated like animal leather. ☀️ The container should not be placed in direct sunlight or on hot bathroom tiles. Ideally, it should be kept a bit cool and dry. 🧼 If you get stains on it from e.g. foundation, wipe them off immediately with mild soapy water. 🏜️ Let the makeup brushes dry completely before putting them in the container. 🚫 And be careful with the opening and closing mechanism, hold around the buttons, and don’t yank or tear. It can be tempting, as I find they hold very well. ✈️ There is probably impregnation for vegan leather, but I haven’t looked into it. It’s probably not necessary if you mostly keep it at home. But maybe if you take it frequently on trips. ⭐ I have nothing negative to say about Make Up Store’s container for makeup brushes. My absolute favorite🌸
Vichy Beauty Anti-Perspirant is, for my needs, the very best deodorant on the market, and I buy it in bulk. It has a subtle scent, lasts all day, and doesn’t itch or cause bumps on the skin. 🍋 The deodorant is perfumed, and mainly I smell citrus, but it doesn’t smell nearly as strong as some similar products. It’s feminine, not masculine despite the citrus notes. But if you are sensitive to perfume, I would choose another deodorant. 🩷 It contains aluminum which reduces sweat production and keeps you dry. But not everyone wants or can use deodorants with aluminum for various reasons – two of them are itching and bumps, or yellow stains on clothes. I haven’t experienced that with this one. 🩷 The deodorant has many good ingredients: It contains Perlite which absorbs moisture. Salicylic Acid and Citrus Limon Fruit which exfoliate and give a more even skin tone over time. Silicones and fatty alcohols that make it easy to apply and keep the skin feeling soft. But beware! Some may experience clogged pores from the silicones. And antioxidants that protect the skin and brighten it. 🏆 I find that this composition works fully for me. 💰 The price may seem high, but it lasts a long time. Much longer than many cheaper deodorants bought in grocery stores. So it’s a good price. But it doesn’t last 48 hours, that would be an exaggeration, but it lasts all day with moderate activity. 🩷 I like the design. The ball rolls as it should, until the product is used up. It also doesn’t have the bad seam that cheap versions have. Moisture for skin and hair
In my opinion, this mist is unisex, and both my husband and I tested it. 💦 My hair is typically thin Nordic, and the mist was too heavy for my hair. It has several moisturizers high up on the ingredient list, which can make both hair and scalp sticky. ⚠️ It also contains alcohol, which can dry out the scalp and thus lead to more sebum production. ⚠️ For that reason, I made sure to use it only on the ends, but I found it sticky and heavy. ⚠️ My husband has no hair, but like me, he tested it on the skin. But for both of us, it had no effect. Neither of us has dry skin. 🏖️ However, I can imagine the mist feels lovely on warm summer skin. It contains Aloe Vera and provitamin B5 (which is inflammatory). ⛔ I wouldn’t use it if you have sensitive skin, as it contains perfume, alcohol, and allergens. 🍋 I didn’t like the scent. I thought it smelled too much like lemon, and the scent is quite synthetic. But the scent doesn’t linger. My husband thought it was okay. But as described, it can fit in the gym bag. There’s something sporty about it. 💙 The bottle design is okay, and the spray works as it should. It’s easy to press down, and the mist spreads well. 🏆 Even though it didn’t suit me, I’m sure for the right hair and skin type it’s very good. Also if you like the scent. ⭐ I would give it 3 and a half stars, but here there are only whole stars. Saltwater spray is not for my hair.
ℹ️ My hair is typically Nordic. Thin strands and a terrible lot of them. My hair is untreated. I haven't trimmed it since June. ℹ️ My hair also gets more and more fall as I get older, and it appears here and there, especially at the nape. The hair has become drier with age. As expected. ℹ️ I used saltwater spray often when I was young, but then I had a completely different type of hair and shorter hair. 😔 Using saltwater spray now made the hair very dry, and it became tangled. I absolutely cannot tousle it, because then it just looks terribly unkempt. 💙 But it is a good spray and will definitely give a good texture to the right hair. 💙 The pump is very good – it is easy to press down and the spray spreads as it should. I like the design of the bottle. I like that it is transparent and that it is secured with two caps. 💙 I think you get a lot for your money too, as not much product is needed. 💙 I only noticed the smell of alcohol, not the perfume. So maybe the product is okay for those who do not like or tolerate perfume. The smell of the alcohol disappears in a second, and I also had no scent in my hair afterwards. 🏆 I have nothing bad to say about the spray and will give it to my niece with curls. The pump doesn't work
The first bottle I got didn't work at all, the next one only worked partially. It's easy to make a complaint at LYKO. I think they are flexible and helpful. So when I complained about the bottle, I quickly got a new one. Because the pump was completely defective. The new one I got works partially. The spray consists of a bit of mist and one uneven large squirt. There's also no power in it, so it drips off. I also have to use both hands to press out the spray. The combination means I haven't been able to use it as intended. I sprayed the product into my hands and rubbed it into my hair to see how it looked. It might be borderline heavy for my hair type – which is thin Nordic hair. I think it smells absolutely lovely. It has a pleasant floral scent. But it is too strong for those who don't like or tolerate perfume. I don't want to complain again or throw away the bottle. I want to find another bottle to pour it into. Spraying it into my hands I didn't like that much. I usually transfer the contents from the yellow one into the old bottle because the spray on it is much better ♥️

But maybe more of a heartfelt sigh. Because I bought products from Catrice for the first time a few weeks ago. Had I known there would be such an affordable calendar, I would have bought that instead. Because I wanted to test the brand itself. For those who don’t know Catrice, I want to say a few words. I have now tested four products from them – I am done with one review. And I am very impressed. Even though the price is low and the packaging cheap. Because the products almost reach the level of the more well-known and expensive brands. But I have also learned that Catrice can have varying quality, as they often change the collection to catch trends. So it’s not certain that all the content is equally good. But still. This must be an excellent gift for someone exploring makeup for the first time, but also for those who are experienced. I am a grown woman and I can definitely appreciate Catrice. You also get earrings, nail polish, and a scrunchie. The products in my picture – blush, setting powder, setting spray, and a skin tint – I put together a nice look with them. If there are any copies left after Christmas, I might buy it. Either for myself or my niece. But others can buy it first. It’s hard to give the right number of stars to the calendar since I’m unfamiliar with the content. But I can give it four.
