It was really just recently that I posted empties last time, but as I mentioned then, I had many more that would soon be finished. So now I have to post a new one again. I'm going to Ullared this weekend, so I want to reduce everything I can before then. Glow - nice peach scent and during this summer/fall it has kept my legs unusually nice, and if I just moisturized, I have rarely been really dry. This also came in a lovable box and is not sold on Lyko as a single product. Body scrub - I prefer one of their other scents. This one suits those of you who want a fragrance-free variant. Lyko shower gel, thought it was good at first but in the end it foams poorly and you have to work more for it... or use it to shave as some have recommended. Also got tired of the scent, too sweet for me but it comes in more scents, choose one of the others – they are better. Saborino - these came in a lovable box and I liked them. 1-minute mask is perfect. You always have time for it. Milk - this was not a favorite. Must be shaken well otherwise it became grainy and when shaken well I thought it got a bit sticky, almost oily and often made my mascara smudge more even though I usually use waterproof or under. Morphe - setting powder, this is really good but you probably prefer a bit more matte than glow. Dr.Ceuracle - a good ampoule and I preferred this over their PDRN but still feel like I want to try another one now. Not a good match for me
Unfortunately, Klairs face mask does not match my specific skin type. But that doesn’t mean it’s bad. 🤔 My skin type is light, mature, and dry. I have reached menopause and no longer have as much oil in my skin as I did just a couple of years ago. So that means I haven’t quite figured it out yet. 🌿 Klairs face mask contains substances from algae and plants that are meant to create a film that locks in moisture. I found this film very uncomfortable. It was especially uncomfortable on my neck and chest. 🧴 I tried applying more cream, but then it never fully dried and became sticky. I also tried moisturizing the skin before the cream, but with the same result. 😔 The cream obviously has a tightening effect and binds moisture. So basically, it should be perfect for me at my age. But there is something about my skin and the cream that didn’t work together. 💗 It’s a shame because this is a very good cream. I can see that from the other reviews. But not everything suits everyone. 💗 I had no reactions and perceive the cream as mild and gentle. 🕰️ I only used the cream for 4-5 days and can’t say anything about long-term results. 🫧 I think the jar is pretty, but personally, I’m not so fond of jars. Tubes are more convenient and often more hygienic. 🍋 The scent is fresh, of lemon and flowers. The scent does not come from perfume but from essential oils. The scent is discreet. There are significantly better alternatives
It's rare that I test products I don't like at all. This is one of those. First and foremost, it's the spray mechanism that bothers me. I have to use two hands to press it in. That makes it terribly difficult to hit where you want, if at all. I assume the bottles are cheaply bought in bulk from an external company. My hair is typically Nordic. Thin strands, but there are terribly many of them. The spray makes my hair greasy and unpleasant. I don't like the scent. It reminds me of mosquito spray. And the spray has no good, if any, UV protection. And I find that terribly unpleasant. You don't protect your hair or scalp very well from the sun. So don't use this in strong sun thinking you have enough protection. It protects against pollution, and that's good. But that does not justify the price in any way, which is also very high considering what you get. I see no reason to buy this product again. Sun-kissed Glow
I have used some form of self-tanner for over 30 years and have tested countless brands and variants. Isle of Paradise's self-tanning drops are good. But Medium is too dark for me, so I have to go for Light if there is a next time. I have the lightest skin - I have red hair - and don't need many drops of Medium. I used three drops and got sun-kissed. Really brown. The color is nice and it's not hard to get even. But for me, it looks unnatural. I like the bottle (it's made of glass), the beautiful green color, and the dropper is also good. I didn't notice any particular scent from the product. I'm not as good at using masks as many of you others and generally think it's a bit of a deep hole when there are so many kinds and they all are supposed to be good for something. Some brands have about twenty masks alone.. Therefore, I have appreciated Saborino, which we got in a Lovables since it is simple and not sticky. Put on the mask for 1 minute and then off. A good product for dry and damaged hair
Vision Haircare's serum is a very good product for dry, worn, damaged, and heat-treated hair. From the ingredients, I see that it strengthens and repairs. It moisturizes and makes the hair soft and easier to comb. And it gives shine and protection. The design is nice and the pump is easy to handle. I have typical Nordic hair. Thin strands, but a lot of them. I did not experience the serum weighing the hair down at all. My hair is untreated and has no real issues, so this serum is preventive for me. The serum smells sweet like candy, but the scent is not strong and does not last. I think the price is too high, because if you have some thickness to your hair, you need quite a bit of serum. This is not a thin liquid serum, but more like a typical leave-in. And as a leave-in, the product works well for me, and I will use up the bottle. But I probably won’t repurchase it this time. As you can see, none of them are particularly dark. Two of them are almost invisible on bare skin but give a bit of shine and a “nude” color. And SPF (Hydracolor). Content not as good as claimed
The content is not at all as natural as the text makes you believe. There were many comments about it when the oil was featured in a lovable. The oil has a bit of trouble coming out of the packaging, so when it finally does, it's a bit like a ketchup bottle, it can easily come out in a larger amount. However, quite a bit is used if, like me, you want to rub it all over your legs. The bottle looks nice aesthetically and best of all. My husband saw it standing in the window and thought I wanted to send a message considering the name... so big bonus for that. The price, however, means it still lands on a solid 3. Not a bad product but in my opinion nothing extremely wow. You definitely don’t need to be afraid that it would shimmer too much. Hard to capture the shimmer in a photo but it’s a subtle shimmer that I perceive. The bag itself has a nice color but is somewhat plasticky in execution, though not as bad as the purple one was. The content then, very many products. I like that. Lots of value and no exaggerated price if you compare with some others this year. A couple of mini products, one of which is the kind I like and the other just a nicer sample (good brand). It feels like a very positive start but I won’t rate the product as a whole just yet, because I first want to feel, touch and test a bit. This one contains some eyeshadows that I know have been requested from previous lovables comments. Don’t remember who wrote that, but thanks. I love constructive criticism, especially when it means we now get to test two interesting eyeshadows. Hickap has also been a brand I’ve appreciated several products from before and that I like, so I will test that very soon. Otherwise, I need to think about which products I want/need or if I should be a bit kind because I know I have others who want things from this. I’ve already put the aftersun out in the medicine cabinet in the bathroom where we keep such things. Might be needed soon as it’s going to be very warm this weekend. The theme for these and the day is "peach". Body lotion from Glöd seems to no longer be available, this was included in a #lovables. Not a huge loss. The product takes a bit longer to absorb but when it does, it’s good and only faintly smells of peach, a classic 3. Good basic product but nothing wow. Hickap hair mist smells fresh even a few hours later, so high marks for scent but doesn’t add extra freshness to the hair. However, I tested the product on hair that should have been washed. First I used some dry shampoo and an hour later this mist. Now the hair looks dull and a bit greasy again. I’d say it should mostly be used on washed hair. The scent is definitely good. I think I’ve already mentioned that Sundae was a disappointment. The scent doesn’t last long enough for my taste but it is a mist and not a perfume. One of the main notes is peach. I will use it up but probably won’t buy this one again. Otherwise, Sundae is a nice brand. Smuuti is a good cream. Absorbs quickly into the skin. Has a nice light feel when you apply it and I haven’t had any reactions, pimples, or dryness switching to this. My face gratefully accepted it and seems to appreciate the product. Of the products I’ve tested from Smuuti so far, my skin has just said yes right away.
