Hey Lyko friends... How are you all? Hope you all have a wonderful week. Spring is just around the corner and I can't wait to start working outdoors again (which means gardening). Yoohoo! I know we are all happy because it just means we will get more sunshine and lovely weather anytime soon. And since SPRING is just next month, I thought it would be really nice to have a little hair makeover (check out my old post to see how long my hair was before π) - so here as you see, I went for short hair this year and guess what! - I cut it all myself π. I know it's not perfect because it's not straight in the back and not layered in the front, haha it didn't turn out how I wanted it but that's okay because I've gotten used to it now. I just curl it up with my curling iron to make it look wavy and hide the flaws. To my surprise, it works and looks nice π. Here is my first makeup look I did this year and I'm going to call it "spring look makeover" π€ͺ by the way I'm including all the products I love to use and that I recommend trying. I really like it as a highlighterβ¨οΈ
I love that this serum has a nice subtle shimmer that I actually like. It is slightly tinted in color as you can see in the picture, just like a liquid bronzer but in serum form. I actually like this product π. The packaging says it can be used either as a highlighter for makeup or alone as a serum. Who doesn't like serum and highlighter in just one product, right? very versatile, so I have tried it both ways π. As a serum, it does exactly what it says, gives radiant glow to the skin and provides luminosity, but I'm not a big fan of using it as a serum alone, especially on my bare face since the shimmer on it is a bit too much for my taste, but it's a big plus that it has the benefits of vitamins and hyaluronic acid that help reduce skin wrinkles and lines over time. And as for a highlighter for your makeup, I thought it was really wonderful and I like it a lot as a highlighter on the cheek and on the nose. I find it more effective to apply it last on my makeup, on top of my foundation (see the picture of how I achieved my subtle glow plus the effect also looks nice in the picture). The serum is a bit liquid in consistency but it melts nicely into the skin and you have to wait until it dries to see the effect on the skin. It feels almost a bit sticky on the face but it is so easy that once it is well rubbed in, that feeling disappears and it dries quite quickly. It also doesn't have a strong scent which is really good for those who don't like strongly scented serums, so far I'm glad my skin loves it and I had no bad reaction when I used it. Overall, this is a good product for women looking for a nice subtle glow but not an oily glow LOL. You can use as little or as much as you want, which makes it easy to customize the desired look. fragrance-free and perfect for sensitive skin
Good moisturizer, I use it after using PLY clean slate cleanser in the morning and at night which keeps my face well hydrated. Itβs a pretty heavy cream thatβs good for my 40-year-old face lol, it can be too rich and feel a bit heavy for some but for me itβs good. This cream is really thick in consistency but it absorbs quite quickly into your skin. It absorbs quickly and is therefore not as sticky as other creams can be on the market, making it suitable for both day and night use π. Love that it has niacinamide and vitamin E ingredients in it too which are really good for our skin. Plus, itβs fragrance-free and perfect for sensitive skin. This cream comes in standard tube packaging with a foil seal under the cap to ensure it hasnβt been tampered with. So if a thick cream doesnβt bother you, you should definitely try it, So far so good and my skin feels just okay as I can say for now, it hasnβt given me any super dramatic effect but big plus for providing moisturizing effect and Iβve never experienced any bad reactions with it either. Itβs not that strong for the skin
This is a very gentle exfoliating cleanser that is safe for daily use and works really well for my combination skin. I love how smooth and clean my skin feels after each wash. I use it twice a day, in the morning and a facial cleanser before I go to sleep. The product says you can also use it to remove your makeup, but for me, I only use it as a second cleanse. I first remove my makeup with my regular makeup remover and use this cleanser afterwards, it effectively removes all makeup residue which I am very happy about. The cleanser is clear and liquid in consistency which makes it easier to dispense. One pump is enough to properly cleanse my face, and the foam is very gentle. I was worried it would be too harsh, but it wasnβt at all. Itβs not that strong for the skin and it doesnβt irritate my eyes either. Thereβs hardly any scent to it either, definitely no added fragrance to it, smells a bit like an unscented soap if you understand what I mean by that, although I noticed that the product dries out my skin a bit after a wash, which is why you need to counteract that with your favorite moisturizer. The packaging is really nice too, it comes in a silver-colored/chrome box and in a solid gray matte pump dispenser, I would appreciate it more if it were in a transparent bottle to see how much product I have left, because sometimes itβs hard to tell how much product is left from a very opaque bottle, but itβs not a big deal anyway. The locking mechanism on the pump dispenser is also very practical and prevents accidental leakage which is a big plus. The effect is noticeable, but not too intense. Otherwise, I like the scent and how clean it leaves my skin. Look what I got in the mail yesterday and what a surprise. I can't even remember if I won in a giveaway or if it's a mission from my #lykoinflutester since I always get emails about a future mission :) but anyway, I just know that I'm so excited to test this shampoo and conditioner. My hair doesn't look good at the moment, I have oily and damaged hair, easy to break, and I'm experiencing a bit of hair loss, and this mission is such a nice treatment!. So excited to try this shampoo and conditioner from this brand Grazette, and this is my first time. . . BtW it's made in Sweden!! So exciting and it smells sooo good!!ππ. I really enjoy doing this Halloween makeup and it's so easy to do. I know it's not perfect, but for me it feels like I'm inside the comic heheπ! very small but very practical
In collaboration with @carmexnordic and buzzador. I got a chance to try these cute CARMEX Minis set with three fruity flavors: Strawberry, Pineapple Mint, and Cherry. I really like these caramex mini, and they are all fantastic in flavors! I like that you get three lip balms in one package that gives you the opportunity to try them all in different flavors without having to buy the larger ones. They are really very small but very practical, pocket- and travel-friendly. They are a bit oily and will make your lips shiny, just like what lip balm does. Personally, I like the pineapple mint flavor that tastes like a real mint pineapple on your lips. It does its job of keeping your lips hydrated and soft!
