It’s finally sandal 🩴 season 😊
Hi Lyko friends! 👋 Summer is just around the corner, and for me, that means nail polish time! It’s finally sandal season, which means it’s time to show off those toes LOL 😄. Have you already chosen which colors you’ll be wearing this warm season? 😉 Today I want to share some shades I’ve loved lately. I also reuse some autumn colors because I actually think they’re perfect for spring and summer too. I really love Mavala Mini Nail Polishes. Even though the bottles are quite small, they’re still one of my favorite brands when it comes to nail polish, and they’re also quite affordable. Mavala’s packaging is easy to recognize thanks to their cute little bottles. I own some shades I always enjoy using, and their Minute Quick Dry Top Coat is amazing, never lets me down! I highly recommend it, especially if you’re in a hurry and need a quick and easy nail fix. The shade 279 Firenze looks like a light chocolate color to me, a bit on the clay-brown side. So if you like dark brown nail polishes, you’ll definitely like this one. However, I don’t think it’s still available here at Lyko, maybe it’s out of season. Another color I really like is 123 Mini Color Edinburgh. It’s a beautiful deep green shade with brown pigments, perfect for an autumn vibe but honestly, I think it works year-round. I love how dark the color is and how nicely it complements my skin tone. I really think these shades are just as nice in summer as they are in autumn and winter. At the same time, I totally get the charm of seasonal colors, it’s part of the fun with nail polish and style. For me, it’s mostly about what makes you feel beautiful and comfortable, and I think both these colors work wonderfully all year round. If I like a color, I’m happy to wear it regardless of the season ☺️ The formula from Mavala is very soft and creamy, and the narrow applicator means you can cover the whole nail with just three strokes. Personally, I prefer to apply a second coat, and then the result is perfect! However, I think it gets a bit too thick if you apply three coats or more. The drying time between coats is super fast, so you need to work quickly when applying it, otherwise it can smudge and not give an even finish 👍 Next time I’ll make sure to show another shade I own, Mavala Mini Color 432 Perth 😁. I've been using this TheraFace Mask Glo since I got it last month, and the results are honestly incredible! I really love the TheraFace Mask Glo and I'm so glad I had the opportunity to try this amazing device. After using the mask every other day, I've noticed a clear improvement in my skin texture, and it has given my whole face more glow. As you can see in the pictures, my skin used to look quite shiny and a bit oily, and my pores were much more visible before I started using the Face Glo mask. The mask has also helped reduce some of the fine lines on my cheeks and even under my eyes. I also sometimes have bags under my eyes and an uneven skin tone on my forehead. I often use red and infrared light because that's what my skin needs right now, but I also like to use blue light because it helps dry out the occasional breakouts I get during my menstruation, something I know many women also experience. To give a bit of perspective, I'm in my early 40s, so having such a skincare device really feels like a luxury. The settings for red and infrared light feel particularly soothing and relaxing. They make my skin look brighter and more even, especially on my forehead, which can sometimes look like it has gotten a bit too much sun. I'm very satisfied with this product! The mask fits comfortably on my face, and the adjustable straps make it easy to use at home without hassle. However, I'm not so fond of the scalp massager, as it feels like it doesn't do much, and I don't really like the vibration sound in my head. Therefore, I usually skip it when I want a really calm and relaxing moment, even though I do use it sometimes. Surprisingly, the battery lasts really long, even when I use the scalp massager on the highest setting. A big plus is that it already has a preset timer for each treatment, so you don't need to set your own timer on your phone. You can also choose which treatment you want to use depending on what your skin needs. The mask itself looks very high quality, feels durable, and is nice to look at, even though my husband always says I look like Iron Man when I have it on 😆. It definitely doesn't feel cheap, and for the price you pay, the quality is really worth it. If you take your skincare seriously and are looking for an effective way to improve your skincare routine, the TheraFace Mask Glo is a must. You need to use it regularly to see real results, so make it a part of your own self-care routine. I know it's a bit pricey, but it's really effective and a real game changer for anyone wanting to achieve glowing and healthy skin. Smells amazing! Love the mandarin scent!
I really love it! I really like the scent and the consistency is wonderful. It is rich and fluffy, which makes it feel very creamy, but it still sinks into the skin surprisingly well without leaving a greasy film. The shea butter and jojoba oil are fantastic ingredients as they make the skin very soft and hydrated, especially on dry areas like elbows and legs, perfect for dry skin. It has a light vanilla scent with a hint of orange, sweet and absolutely lovely 😋 Overall, it does a fantastic job of making dry skin feel soft and pleasant. I really like it! A big plus is that it has a sealed lid, which makes you feel secure that the product is fresh and properly sealed. I really love this scrub. It smells amazing and my skin feels so soft after using it. The scent is not strong at all, but smells just like their body butter, vanilla and mandarin, which together actually smell heavenly LOL. This body scrub is exactly what I hoped for. Super moisturizing, lovely scent, and it leaves no film on the skin or mess in the shower! It has a really nice consistency, soft and gentle, but still exfoliates really well. The fresh scent lingers on my hands for a long time and makes the whole bathroom smell wonderfully citrusy. The scrub has the perfect texture, with just the right amount of sugar crystals to exfoliate effectively, but is still gentle enough for daily use without irritating the skin. When I rinse it off with warm water, the sugar grains melt away immediately 😉 I finished with their Nourishing Body Butter, a completely perfect combination! My skin is sooooo happy right now 🤗🥰💕. Hair feels after swimming at the beach
First time using this Vision Haircare Texturizing Spray. So far it’s okay. I don’t hate it, but I’m not particularly fond of it either. It gave a bit of volume and texture to my hair since it’s a texturizing spray, but it also made my hair feel very dry and a bit tangled. I know it contains salt for that “beachy” wave effect, you know how hair feels after swimming at the beach, a bit tangled and dry. That’s exactly how it feels when I use this spray. It completely takes away the shine and luster from my hair, so I guess it would be a perfect spray if you have very flat or oily hair. The scent, however, is really nice! Hey Lyko friends! 💕 It has been snowing all day today, so here I am scrolling through my old nail videos 😄 I found this simple gel design with my Neonails Milky French gel polish, which I completely forgot to share here. I still love how it looks, milky, a bit translucent, with a smooth consistency and really good coverage with just three layers 😆. very thick, very moisturizing cream
To start with, I have combination skin that changes with the seasons, dry and flaky in the winter, oily in the summer. I have been using this cream for about a week now, and I think it is quite moisturizing. It resembles a gel cream but with a richer and thicker consistency. It applies smoothly into the skin and has no strong scent either, which I appreciate. Unfortunately, even though it is very moisturizing, I find it a bit heavy and thick on my skin. It also leaves a slightly sticky film that lingers on the face. I don’t hate it, but I’m not crazy about that sticky feeling. The stickiness lingers for a while, and it takes a couple of minutes for the skin to absorb it, and you can still feel it even after several hours of use. Because of that, I prefer to use it as a night cream so I don’t have to deal with the stickiness during the day. So I will probably give it more time to work on me, and I’m pretty sure it will work better during the colder months since it moisturizes my face well. On the bright side, that sticky film gives you a temporary glowing/glossy glow effect 😉 if you like these effects, you will definitely love this cream. Big plus for having a sealed packaging tube that makes you feel so satisfied that the product is well secured and fresh. Overall, it is a very thick, very moisturizing cream that is good if you have very dry skin like me, definitely worth a try, but if you are prone to acne or already have oily skin, you might want to consider not using it as its thickness could potentially clog your pores. #lykoinflutester #purito1 product in post very thick, very moisturizing cream299 views
