No big effect
I was so excited to try this since I like other products from Colour Wow. Also, this has gotten so much hype that I had to try it. I have relatively a lot of hair, and it’s a bit wavy (definitely not curly), but it kind of has a mind of its own, so to speak. I thought this product would tame the hair a bit, So I wouldn’t look like a troll every morning…🙈 But nah, I’m unfortunately not impressed. Surprisingly good for fine hair
I was convinced this would be too heavy for my hair. It absolutely wasn’t. 🖤 My hair is typically Nordic, many thin strands. Usually, my hair gets heavy and greasy from most products of this type. 🖤 Even though it contains silicones, it worked perfectly. 🖤 And I really like the scent, probably because of good associations from hairdresser visits. To me, the scent has notes of lemon, lavender, and spices. The scent is not overpowering. 🖤 I think the perfume might be too strong for those who don’t like or can’t use perfume. 🖤 The product contains parabens and some allergens that might be negative for some. But on the other hand, ingredients that make hair easy to comb, give shine, and lock in moisture. As a Lyko test pilot, I got to try the Waterclouds Gloss Revive Conditioner ✨ I have thick hair with coarse strands and natural waves, what hairdressers often call "non-Nordic" hair. My hair also tends to get frizzy, so I appreciate conditioners that add softness and make hair easier to manage. A bit unusual to use, but nice result!
As a Lyko test pilot, I got to try Waterclouds Gloss Revive Shampoo ✨ I have thick hair with coarse strands and natural waves, what hairdressers often call "non-Nordic" hair. My hair also tends to get frizzy easily. At first shampooing, I actually found the product a bit difficult to distribute evenly in the hair. I rinsed and shampooed again, and then it went much easier. Still, the feeling was a bit different than what I'm used to from other shampoos. I used the shampoo together with the hair treatment from the same series, and when my hair had dried, I was positively surprised! The hair was incredibly soft, easy to run my fingers through, and looked naturally healthy. I also noticed more movement in the top hair than I usually get, which I really liked. I missed a bit more shine and still had some frizz, but the overall impression is positive. As a Lyko test pilot, I got to try the Waterclouds Gloss Revive Hair Mask ✨ I have thick hair with somewhat coarse strands and natural waves. The underhair has big waves, while the top hair is usually quite straight. The hair also tends to get frizzy easily. When I rinsed out the hair treatment, I was actually a bit skeptical. The hair didn’t feel as smooth and easy to comb through with my fingers as I’m used to after other hair treatments. But when the hair dried, I was pleasantly surprised! It was incredibly soft, my fingers glided through easily, and the hair felt healthy without any residue or product feeling. What surprised me the most was the waves! For the first time in a long while, I could clearly see movement also in parts of the top hair, not just the underhair. The hair didn’t become especially shiny, and I still had a bit of frizz, but the natural softness and movement definitely make up for it. Soft hair without product feeling!
As a Lyko test pilot, I got to try Waterclouds Intensive Mist 💦 A bit about my hair: I have what hairdressers often call "non-Nordic" hair, with thick, slightly coarse strands and natural waves. The underhair has big waves, while the top hair is often quite straight. My hair also tends to get frizzy. I tested the mist on dry hair after using shampoo and hair treatment from the same series. The hair was already very soft but still a bit frizzy. After the mist dried, I felt the hair looked smoother and more gathered, with less frizz. What I like best is that the hair still feels incredibly soft, and my fingers glide easily through. No film, sticky feeling, or signs that the product weighs the hair down! I also tried it on my daughter, who has straight and fine hair. Her hair also became softer and easier to comb. I didn’t get the completely mirror-like shine, but the hair looks natural and healthy, and that’s actually a result I really like.
