Gives nice volume
My hair has gone from being thick and full to becoming much thinner due to illness and medications. The feeling is that the hair is now just thin and flat, but that feeling can change quite a bit with good volume products. Volume thickening spray is a really nice product! It has a good spray function that makes it easy to distribute the product evenly. I spray it at the roots and then comb through the hair before blow-drying. You can use the product on both dry and towel-dried hair, but so far I have only tried it on towel-dried hair. It gives nice volume but still feels light and doesn’t weigh the hair down. It also doesn’t make the hair greasy, which I appreciate. The scent, like the others in the volume series, is a mild fresh scent that doesn’t overpower; I mostly think it smells like cucumber, which is pleasant. I have a dry and sensitive scalp that easily gets irritated by products used near the scalp, but this one doesn’t irritate at all. I usually use my favorite Root Effects from Lanza to get volume at the roots, but now it has a good competitor. Just right! ✨
Just Right is truly the perfect name for this hairspray. For me, it couldn’t be more right! It gives just the right amount of hold in the hair without feeling like you’re wearing a “helmet.” I’ve tried many different hairsprays over the years, and most are way too stiff for my taste. But this one is just so perfect! The hair is easy to brush out the next day and restyle. It also doesn’t weigh the hair down like many other sprays. My scalp is both dry and sensitive, but the spray doesn’t irritate it at all. It has a pleasant fresh floral scent that’s just right—not overpowering or too strong. I’m usually sensitive to scents, but this one doesn’t bother me at all. The mist is well balanced and makes sure everything lands exactly where it should. Gave it a new chance and it surprised me!
I tried this volumizing mousse 1 1/2 years ago and was not convinced at all. It weighed my hair down, gave poor volume, and made my hair very greasy right away. I still gave it a chance and used up the entire package. What I liked about it back then was the packaging, the pleasant scent, and that it didn’t irritate my sensitive scalp. I gave it a 2 rating in my review and didn’t plan to try it again. But then I was lucky enough to win it in a contest here at Lyko, and of course, I wanted to give it another chance. I’m very glad I did! I don’t know if the formula has changed or if something about my hair has changed, because I experience the product completely differently now! I blow-dry it the same way as before, and it gives a nice volume with just the right amount of hold. With the previous one, I got no volume at all no matter what I did or which products I washed my hair with. Of course, I get the best volume if I also use the other volume products in the series, but it also gives good volume on its own. The best part is that the hair doesn’t get greasy at all from it, which I had big problems with last time. The product is economical, and you don’t need much product for your hair. One wash is enough
You absolutely do not need to double shampoo with this product. It’s concentrated, has the perfect consistency, and it takes quite a little product to get the hair clean. The cleanliness also lasts longer than any other shampoo I’ve tried, about 12-24 hours longer, the hair looks freshly washed and fresh without using dry shampoo or anything else. Lots of volume, and as several have already pointed out, the scent also lasts a long time. I could even still smell a bit of it even though I had showered again after 24 hours and hadn’t used any products in my hair at that shower. So why only 4 stars? My scalp gets a bit dry, actually it was itchy dry at first, probably the hair got a bit dry too but I put a drop of oil distributed over all the hair while it was wet (as I usually do) and then the hair is silky soft, airy, and dreamy. For the scalp, shampoo and conditioner alone aren’t enough, you need something more. Maybe a leave-in like #björnaxen themselves wrote? I’ve used other things on my scalp and then it’s good. A completely normal Thursday
Cooked a nicer piece of meat for the evening, set the table nicely, and brought out some better drinks, all things normally reserved for Friday or Saturday.. so what was special tonight? Besides that I’m so happy with my hair even though in the picture I just pulled out today’s hairstyle without even brushing it.. more info on that to come. So, really nothing at all but the sun is shining and you should enjoy that. When I arrived at work early, it was 4 degrees below zero outside. Yesterday I ran my route in a t-shirt in 16 degrees Celsius. Not quite as warm this afternoon but still about 16 degrees warmer than in the morning. Don’t you think my hair looks lighter, airier? I at least feel like it does. Since I started using #björnaxen shampoo and conditioner, I notice a big difference in volume but also in the feel and cleanliness. In the picture, it’s been more than 48 hours since the last wash and I have rinsed my hair (showered properly without washing hair) after training yesterday. But before, my hair used to look pretty unwashed by this time, especially if I had trained, showered but not washed. I can smell the products for at least 36 hours without any problem. In my opinion, the hair looks lighter than before, even compared to when I used silver shampoo. Is there anything negative about these? Yes, unfortunately a little. The conditioner bottle is a bit hard to get the contents out of. I feel like I have to squeeze hard and the bottle stays a bit pinched. This problem doesn’t exist with the shampoo. Probably due to the density of the contents. I also think my scalp has become a bit drier, started to itch a little, and I’ve had to use another product to moisturize a bit but it’s resolving. Can definitely recommend the products but if you’re like me and a bit sensitive, think about a possible reaction first. Perfect for volume!
My first impression of this product (besides the fantastic unisex scent I love) was that the formula was very thin for a conditioner and I thought it wouldn’t moisturize my hair at all. I thought it must be completely silicone-free because it barely glides on the hair, I felt like a lot of conditioner was needed to cover all the hair strands. But after the next use, I used the trick of carefully brushing out my hair with a wetbrush, and it really did wonders! My hair felt properly coated with a smaller dollop. I was surprised that the instruction on a volumizing conditioner says to massage from the scalp to the lengths, but said and done! My hair got proper volume despite that, and no other products were needed. Can't stop smelling my hair!
First impression, the scent! Such a lovely unisex scent that makes me miss a man 😂 The consistency is quite loose and it feels almost like a sulfate-free shampoo, but I always double shampoo regardless of the shampoo, so it gets really nice and fluffy! The hair definitely feels clean and airy, but I don't think this is the right shampoo for someone with a dry scalp, because it feels a bit "Striped". But wow, the volume! I have tested #BJÖRNAXEN Volume Conditioner together with Volume Shampoo, have previously used the Volume series in mousse (which I got in a goodie bag from Björn Axén after my wedding 2024, and still have left in the bottle 😂) volumizing spray and blow dry cream. I just got my hair cut shorter and don’t have as much layering in my hair anymore, but at the same time it’s not as heavy as it was before, so I was excited to see what the volume series could offer my new look 🥳 The conditioner is thick and lasts a long time, and the scent is lovely! I have as #lykoinflutester gotten to test this conditioner from #björnaxen, which pleased me, as I think their dry shampoo is the best (I prefer not to use anything else). These are the first products from them (I have tested several in the series) that I use that are not mentioned dry shampoo. My hair 🧬 It is smooth, narrow, and fine Scandinavian hair. The hair is untreated and hard to style. Products tend to sit on top or slide off it. I really never need to brush my hair. First impression 🌸 This conditioner smells wonderful! Exactly what it smells like is hard to put a finger on. It might be floral, with a bit of spice? It is definitely not just sweet, but it has something extra. Usage 🚿 I have tried both putting the conditioner in all my hair and just on the lengths. If I put it in all my hair and blow-dry afterwards, my hair doesn’t get greasy for several days (but then I have to blow-dry along the part). If I don’t feel like blow-drying, I just put it on the lengths. Result ✨ Afterwards, my hair feels clean and airy. Some conditioners make my hair feel weighed down and greasy, or like a film, especially conditioners that are supposed to “give nourishment” or “shine.” This conditioner promises volume and cleansing, and it certainly delivers! Although volume might be a strong expression. “A certain lift” I would rather say. Moisture 🌾 But what you gain in airflow, you lose in moisture. I don’t think the conditioner in question moisturizes the hair particularly well. I let it sit in extra long, or I choose to complement it with some lighter hair mask. Otherwise, my hair feels dry and the ends feel slightly straw-like. Overall impression ⭐ This is a conditioner with a good scent that contributes to clean and airy hair that has swing potential (which is good). My hair 🧬 I received this shampoo in the role of #lykoinflutester, which made me happy since my hair is among the least voluminous hair in the whole area. My hair is Scandinavian glass fiber, with many, many fine strands. I don't have any major lack of strands, yet my hair is quite "thin". First impression 💛 The first impression of the product itself was the scent – it smells lovely! My 20-year-old daughter, who was present when I opened the package, turned her head and said "mmm" (that's a good scent sign). The lather 🫧 My second impression is that it doesn't lather much, but it becomes more of a rather compact lather. So: there isn't big foam all over the hair, but fine lather right where I massage with my fingers, in just the right amount according to me. Appreciated! The result in the hair 🌬️ The feeling afterwards, whether I blow-dry or not, is that the hair feels clean and airy. Volume I don't know – only if I style it (with more than just blow-drying). But the fact that the hair feels airy afterwards is a very good starting point. One problem I often have is that products sit on the strands, weigh them down, and feel sticky. This is not a problem with this shampoo. As mentioned, the hair feels clean and airy. Disadvantages 🌾 One disadvantage is that the hair tends to go a bit dry, especially the ends in my case. But I have been able to compensate for that with other products, and I have let the conditioner work a bit longer in the lengths. Overall impression ⭐ I like the shampoo the most of all in this series. It cleanses, makes the hair feel airy, it smells good, and also feels economical (doesn't need much product). I was quite disappointed with this conditioner. It made my hair feel dry and rough after use, which made it hard to manage. I tested the whole line together and I had to add something moisturizing to be able to comb my hair. However, I must say that the scent was really nice – almost like perfume. Pretty okay conditioner for dry hair
I have been given the fun task of testing @Björn Axén's new volume series! I have previously tried – and then also bought – their Cool Blonde series, so my expectations were high… However, I don't really think this conditioner delivers as well as the Cool Blonde conditioner on my hair. I love when my hair feels really soft and smooth afterwards, and I never skimp on either hair mask or conditioner – my hair definitely needs to be properly moisturized. Since I bleach my hair quite often (most recently yesterday, so the day after the video was filmed), it needs extra moisture, and this is, after all, a volume conditioner. For the right hair type, I really think this conditioner can work really well – especially if you want more airiness and don't need as much weight and moisture as I do. The scent, however, is a big plus! I have the fun task of testing Björn Axén's new volume series! I have previously tried – and then also bought – their Cool Blonde silver shampoo, so my expectations for this shampoo were high… and it really delivers! It works super well. It lathers nicely (I love it!) and is easy to work through the hair with. I always double shampoo to really get that super clean feeling, and I find that not much product is needed at all to achieve the result I want – which means the bottle lasts longer 😃 The scent is also a big plus! It’s fresh and luxurious without being too strong (important for me as I wear perfume every day). The hair is left with a clean, fresh feeling that doesn’t overpower. The result?
