I recently started using the OBH Nordica Bjørn Axén Tools Magic Style Brush PRO 38 mm and I'm overall very satisfied! The hair gets a nice shape with a lovely fall. As a beginner, I find it can be a bit tricky to use at first (to get the right technique) But with a little patience and practice, it will probably get better, there are many good tutorials both here in the community and on YouTube! A big plus is that it doesn't get stuck in the hair, as long as you take smaller sections at a time to reduce the risk of tangling. I have thick hair with thick strands, so I was a bit afraid I would get stuck with the tongs right away. In summary, a really good styling brush that gives a salon feel at home! I used a volume tong frequently several years ago, and now that I've used the Volumaster, I'm hooked again 😍 It's absolutely amazing and gives such great volume that lasts until the next wash 🙌🏽 It heats up quickly and is so easy to work with. Good flat iron!
I have now tested and used the flat iron for a few weeks, and here are my thoughts on it 😊 My hair: thin, fine, and soft. Hard to get volume and curls to hold. ✨ Hair glides easily between the plates ✨ Generous length on the cord ✨ Shiny result after flat ironing ✨ Good to be able to adjust the temperature between 150-210C. I use a maximum of 185 degrees on my hair. ✨ Good with the lock function. The ion function is supposed to help reduce frizz and give a shiny finish, and I think it does. The "ions" are also quite audible during use. Sounds a bit strange and crackling, but that's exactly how it should be when it's an ion function. I measured how long it takes to heat up, and it took 42 seconds to reach 185 degrees and 1 minute to the highest temperature from being completely cold ⏰ Not super fast maybe, but nothing that bothers me. Good that it beeps when it has reached the desired temperature. It gets quite warm on the outside, but not too hot, so it still works to hold when you want to make curls 💖 In summary, I think it is overall a good flat iron; easy to use and with a good result when straightening hair. Must be the world's finest hair dryer 💨
Thin, fine glass hair that easily gets greasy and takes time to dry - yep, that's me - in a nutshell! I usually only use a small travel hair dryer since larger, powerful ones just make my hair feel more straw-like, I think (blows around completely uncontrollably) and the heavy ones just end up sitting in a drawer. Not a fan of 18 meters of heavy cord either 🙊 although this one is also long but light and connects with a good velcro. I actually haven't tried that many over the years since I've often been disappointed and gone back to the little one I have. That's why I was so happy when I opened this box - both small and quiet plus just the right amount of powerful/warm (I mainly use the middle setting - there are 3 and a button that makes it really cool for the finish). The outer part doesn't get warm at all - not even up front, which is great (though the nozzles do get warm). Light and nice to hold plus simple buttons to use with the thumb 👍🏻 Tried the nozzles but like it best without, but that's probably a habit since I don't really know how to hold it in the best way. I get how I would do it if I stood like a hairdresser behind myself, but my own arms don't want to do what I think they should do 😅 Diffuser - my hair refuses to be curly and since it's so thin, it mostly ends up looking straw-like and separated, so I don't feel comfortable with it down at all, but I will try it again at some point, so maybe it can add some volume when I put it up. I've also read that those with thick hair are satisfied with it 👌🏻, so OBH has really succeeded with this little powerhouse! I have been using this heat protectant now from #lykoinflutester #björnaxen #obhnordica and here’s what I think! The packaging is clean, good spray that gives generously with product in one spray. The cap stays on even when it’s been in my bag, so I’m not worried about it leaking. The scent is nice! Nothing wow but definitely fresh 🥰 I really think it does the job! Easy to detangle hair afterwards and it doesn’t weigh the hair down at all. I think it gives shine and I love that it protects up to 220 degrees! ☀️ All in all, this is definitely a heat protectant I can see myself buying again. I got to test this curling iron with cool shot function! Here comes a summary of my experience ⬇️ 🙌 Perfect size of the cylinder for my hair 🙌 Nice design 🙌 Long cord 🙌 Heat-protective glove included 🙌 Multiple temperature options 🙌 It may take a couple of tries to get the right technique, but I still think it’s user-friendly 🙅♀️ The cool function could have been a bit colder, the air that came out was warmer than I had hoped ℹ️ Good to know! Incredible hair dryer on the market
I have had the opportunity to test this hair dryer novelty for a few weeks and I am impressed (thank you Lyko). Before I got this hair dryer, I had been a loyal user of my old hair dryer that I have had for x number of years, and I thought there wasn't much difference between hair dryers, but how wrong I was. I've used this heat protectant many times! One of my go-tos, a perfect heat protectant and also protects against UV. It doesn't weigh the hair down at all but protects against our heat tools. You can use it on dry or towel-dried hair, why I like this one is because it just disappears into the hair and you feel like you have no product in at all. I, who have quite thin hair strands and get oily easily, find heat protection very important that it doesn't "dirty" the hair. I have tested this OBH Nordica Björn Axén Tools for a few weeks! A bit surprised by this little flat iron, unfortunately it takes quite a long time to heat up, if you are used to GHD you will lose patience there. But it gives fantastic results at low heat if you have thin fine hair. Something that really impressed me was that the hair would become so shiny from using it. This flat iron has titanium-coated plates, you get a long-lasting result and a smooth, shiny finish. And it is really true! When I recorded this test, I forced myself to sleep with wet hair to see how it would solve such a problem, and it went very well! My hair: Thin Scandinavian hair Damaged ends (pregnancies, bleaching) Lifeless Whirls that are terrible to tame Voluminous Positive things • good and nice result at low heat (thin hair) • easy to curl with • long cord! over 2 m (perfect in front of the mirror, never within reach of an outlet!🤣) Negatives about this • long time before it gets warm • The price is very high considering there are other brands that are a bit higher but have better features. • If you have thick hair, this is not for you! I myself have thin Scandinavian colored hair and think it is incredibly gentle on my fine hair strands! And a result that lasts! Don't like this flat iron!
This flat iron is equipped with titanium plates that are supposed to provide quick heating, give a long-lasting result, and provide a smooth and shiny finish. You can set the flat iron from 150 degrees up to 210 degrees. ✨about me: Thick Scandinavian hair. ✨what do I think of the product? I’ll start by adding that I usually use GHD’s platinum flat iron and therefore am not at all satisfied with this flat iron. If it had cost 799kr, I would have thought it was a good flat iron and absolutely worth buying, but for 1699kr (retail price).. absolutely not! I would rather have bought a better flat iron where you get more for your money. The flat iron itself is a completely ordinary, simple flat iron. Quite "plastic-y" and feels cheap in my opinion. The gap on the flat iron (the distance between the plates) is not that wide. The flat iron is not made for thick hair. I feel like I have to flat iron the same spot several times before I get it flat. It is incredibly, incredibly slow to heat up. Heating up to 185 degrees took me 1 minute and 21 seconds!!!! My GHD takes me 11 seconds to reach the same degree. What’s good about it is that you have a lock function on the side of the flat iron so you can lock it to make it smaller (practical). You can choose how many degrees you want it to be set to, and it curls the hair easily if you want to do that with it. Long cord. Other than that.. no.
