I have been so lucky to test this product, and I really love this tool😍 Normally, I have long, pretty straight hair and thin hair strands, which makes it quickly lie flat and lose shape. To make sure the product really sticks and holds the volume, I used dry shampoo and hairspray before using it, and it gave me absolutely fantastic volume that lasts all day and the next day. This is truly a dream product that I will use a lot going forward. The design is relatively simple and straightforward, but I noticed that the base of the cord is angled for flexibility, which can be a bit annoying as it sometimes pushes against my arm during styling. To get the curls to shape properly, I had to use the hottest function and hold for about 6-8 seconds per section. I have tested the Volumaster Pro. My hair is quite thick and long, even though the actual hair strands are quite thin. The device itself is very user-friendly and easy to understand. You can lock it with a button on the back so that it doesn't stay open. And then there is an on and off button. The idea is that you should "crimp" the hair underneath to raise the volume on top. The wave on the device is such that you should use the largest "wave" closest to the scalp. It comes with a small instruction on the device. I think this device could work well for someone with slightly thicker hair strands because on me, it shows very well that I have crimped the hair underneath. I took a section and held it for 2 seconds as explained. My hair held the crimp incredibly well! But I don't know if I think the volume got much bigger. I tried to comb over the hair afterwards as recommended, but the crimp sat so incredibly well in my hair. I had to go over it with a straightener to calm down some parts, but incredibly, my straightener couldn't help me. The pattern sat well, both good and bad. I tried to start even lower on the other side so that the crimp wouldn't show, but then I didn't get much volume either. It was a strange balancing act on my hair. I was so lucky to get to test this as a Lykoinflutester, and I am sooooo happy about it! I have long thick hair, and the longer it gets, the heavier it becomes too. (Of course). I have used the same method to lift my hair; but with a crimper. That one should definitely be retired now, as this one is much better for exactly this. This one is thinner so the edges are finer and less visible under the hair. It heats up super quickly, is easy to handle, and does its job as it should. I can't find a single negative point about it; it does what it’s supposed to do in a fantastically nice way. Recommended 1000 % !!! My hair is, when I take care of it right, naturally curly. That's why I was most interested in seeing how well this product could make my hair straighter. The first picture shows how my hair looked when I had just brushed out my day-3 hair. It was quick and smooth to straighten the hair. Even though I had brushed my hair thoroughly before using the product, quite a bit of hair got stuck in the frizzy strands. Especially when I tried to curl the hair. I haven't used a similar product before and haven't managed to get the right cuts yet. My hair is hard to get loose when I've rolled it up on the round brush. First of all, a volumeless hair is my biggest problem. But in the cases where I straighten my hair or blow out my curls, my hair can look quite lifeless the next day, and then a tool like this can be a lifesaver to refresh and give back volume. The Volumaster is easy to work with; I sectioned my hair and was careful to leave some hair on top to "cover" the ruffled hair. Then I worked the tool around the roots. The result was hair that got its volume back in a simple way without having to work with new products (like dry shampoo) that leave a bothersome film on the scalp. If you want a clear result without a bunch of extra products, you should probably try the OBH Nordica x Björn Axén Volumaster, because it delivers results! But, one must not forget that this is another step with heat that damages the hair; so personally, I probably wouldn't start using it daily but on special occasions when I want to give my hair a little extra oomph. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #OBHNORDICA #BJÖRNAXEN #STYLINGTOOL

I tried this (30mm) and the same in 45 mm. I tested the products on my daughter with straight, long hair and myself with shoulder-length, curly hair. I find that 30 mm works best for my hair and 45 mm for longer hair. My hair can get frizzy quickly, but this product calmed it down nicely. My daughter's hair also felt fresher. I don't have much practice using such styling tools, and I found it a bit difficult to achieve the desired result. I will continue to practice. My first thought when I saw this was that it seemed like a classic waffle iron. And that’s not entirely wrong, even though it’s used a little differently! I was pleasantly surprised by how quick and easy it was to use, but also that it produced such a clear result that really lasted a long time. It’s enough, as it says in the description, to press the iron for 1-2 seconds, so it goes very quickly to go through the hair closest to the roots. Additionally, it’s gentler on the hair to only expose it to such high heat for a second. The effect was truly a lift from the hair roots, and the hair got 10 times more volume than any regular product could ever achieve. I have quite thick and heavy hair, so most different sprays and mousses that exist to create volume usually work for a maximum of twenty minutes before the hair gets weighed down and goes flat again. "Waffling" the roots gave an effect that lasted for several days! I even tried to wet the hair a little to get it out, but despite that, it held until I washed my hair a couple of days later. The downside of the Volumaster is that the waffles can find their way out and become visible, even if you’ve left out the top layer of hair. Now, I didn’t tease my hair beforehand as recommended since I didn’t have a suitable comb. But regardless, it becomes a problem if you want to change your part, put your hair up, or if it’s very windy. Especially considering that the waffles stay in for so long, it can actually become a bit bothersome! Additional advantages of this are that the tool itself is also very handy. It heats up very quickly. There’s also a long cord that rotates at the connection to the iron, which means you never have to think about getting tangled up. There are clear arrows on the iron showing which side to have facing your head, and it’s also narrow and easy to grip. For reference, I have quite thick and a lot of hair. I have a little bit of natural curl that makes the hair can become slightly wavy, and whirls in the bangs that give a little natural lift at the front. In the pictures where I used the Volumaster, I also had very dirty hair 😂 In summary, it gets a high rating as I value speed and convenience very highly, and this one gets a full score! #LYKOINFLUTESTER #OBHNORDICA #BJÖRNAXEN #STYLINGTOOL

I have been super lucky and got to test the styling tool from Björn Axén, and I must say I am very impressed! I have used very few styling tools in the past since I struggle with painful shoulders and neck, and many tools often require time, which has made it difficult for me. But with this hot brush, you get a fantastic blowout effect without having to wash and blow-dry your hair first, as you use the brush on dry hair. This is a big plus for me! I am looking forward to exploring different hairstyles and getting to know the brush better over time, but I know that this product is something I will use a lot going forward😻 It's important to remember to use a heat-protective product before use, otherwise it can be very damaging to the hair since the brush gets very hot. It smooths out, gives a nice shine and finish to the hair while also providing volume and bounce, just the way I like it. I won't rule out buying the same brush that is a bit smaller and gives even more defined curls. My hair is very long, so it can be a challenge to style it, but with this brush, there was zero stress. I have straight, Nordic hair with fine strands, and it can get a bit tangled and quickly worn at the ends, but it went so smoothly to comb through with the brush and roll up. I got an even better effect by having a bit of hairspray in my hair first, then letting it cool down before I sprayed again for max hold. My hair type: Curly, frizzy, dry, and colored. I’ve been lucky to test this heat brush for a while. When you turn on the heat brush, it gets warm in a few minutes, which is of course appreciated. The hair "glides" easily on the brush and doesn’t get tangled 🤩 The size of the brush is also just right. Unfortunately, this heat brush didn’t suit my hair as it doesn’t make any difference in my hair. My hair has always been hard to style 😤 I’ve tried using the heat brush on dry hair, but also a little damp. Unfortunately, I get no volume, and I can’t create any waves either. I’ve done everything I could and followed the instructions as well as videos. Nothing works on my hair, and it’s just as frizzy as before. I think the heat brush works better on someone else’s hair that isn’t as hard to style as mine. (For example, when I straighten it, it gets curly after an hour, and the same goes for curls, they lose their shape very quickly). I have tested HBO Nordica, Magic Style Brush PRO 45mm. My hair is both long and quite thick, even though the actual hair strands are quite fine and soft. I also have natural waves and a bit of curls. I have also cut my hair myself in layers to lighten how it falls. It is probably a bit worn at the ends in some places. My first thought is that the product is quite user-friendly. There is a power button and a temperature button where you choose between level 1 or 2. I used level 2. I thought that warm air would come through the device because it resembles many other devices that are like this, but it does not do that at all. After the shower, my hair is quite difficult to comb due to the length and many tangles, so I usually let it air dry to preserve the strength in the hair strands (as it is not recommended to comb wet hair). Otherwise, I use hair dryers/an air styler if I want it styled and dried quickly. It quickly takes an hour or two if I want to do all my hair, so here I have only tested on some parts of the hair. 👍 Long cable, rotatable end that prevents the cable from tangling 👍 Hair does not become static 👍 Heats up quickly 👍 It is quiet 👍 Best for shorter hair with thicker hair strands 👎 Does not dry the hair, no air 👎 No storage bag included 👎 A bit too coarse a brush for hair strands that are very fine and tangle easily. For my hair type, I would probably rather recommend Babyliss's Air Styler where the brush is much gentler/softer. I have written a review on that before. In short, I would say that it is a very nice device for someone who has a bit shorter hair that does not tangle so easily. You get very nice soft ends, and especially if you have cut your hair in layers. Then it lays nicely down. You need to have a bit of good time and patience for long hair. I may not be the right person for this product. I probably need a hair dryer included in the device, as well as a softer brush due to fine hair strands. I had the honor of testing the Volumaster Pro - OBH Nordica x Björn Axen. I don't have much experience with hair tools before, and I have very little knowledge of how to get volume in my hair. My hair isn't always very cooperative when it comes to volume. However, this tool has been very easy to use, which I, as a rookie, appreciate a lot. I have tested this in two different ways, first I teased my hair before using the tool, and then I used the tool directly on my hair. I find that the result is the same no matter how I go about it. 🤩 MY HAIR - Dry and relatively lifeless - Shoulder-length thin hair that gets greasy very easily. - Curly at the base but I think it's too dry for the natural curls to come through. 🤩 PLUS - Super easy to use for me who doesn't know much about my own hair or hair tools in general - Extra long cord, and it is rotatable so you don't get stuck in the cord. - It goes super fast to use this. It takes me a maximum of 5 minutes to go through my hair and get volume everywhere. - It really gives a lot of volume to the hair, you can almost set your own limit when you feel it's getting too much (if it can even get too much 😎) 🤩 MINUS - Since my hair is so incredibly thin and I don't have many places to use the tool on, you can quite easily see where I have used the tool if my hair blows during the day or if my hair doesn't lie exactly as it did when I styled it. I find that a bit annoying, but at the same time, I fall under the category of incredibly thin hair, so I didn't really expect anything else. 🤩 OVERALL THOUGHTS As I said, I'm not very good at styling my hair or have previously thought it was particularly fun with hair, but I got to test both this tool and the magic style brush pro, and the combination of using these together has made me convert to thinking that hair styling is actually quite fun. They are both so easy to use and simple that they give a very good result. I recently tried the OBH Nordica Bjørn Axén Tools Volumaster Pro. I've never tried this type of styling tool for volume before. But I really have to say that it is a true game changer for getting volume in the hair. It heats up in just a minute and is ready to use, which is perfect for those days when you're in a hurry. I like that it is easy to use and you can easily control how much volume you want. The result is both natural and full, which can really elevate an entire look! The long, rotating cord makes it easy to move around while styling the hair, which I appreciate. What brings my rating down is that I have quite thin hair, which makes the "curl" sometimes visible at the roots. It's not really my favorite look. It reminds me of when I was younger and used crimping irons on my whole hair, hehe 😅 But that's just my personal opinion, and such things are something you have to expect when using this type of volume tool. I recently tried the OBH Nordica Bjørn Axén Tools Magic Style Brush PRO 45 mm, and I have to say I like it! I've never used this type of styling brush as I've previously used hot air brushes or similar. I was so lucky to get to test the «Magic Style Brush PRO 30mm». And I must first say: Practice is necessary when you need a cut and frizzy hair on a regular basis. But once I got the hang of it, it was surprisingly easy. I have long black straight hair, but thick. I felt this brush gave nice curls without taking a long time, which I really appreciate😅🤝🏽 It was nice to avoid sitting for 1.5 hours to get a little fall in my hair; this was done in about 15-20 minutes. Unfortunately, not everything shows up so well on black hair, but this brush definitely gave volume and a nice fall. I think maybe 38 mm would have done even more for us with long hair..? But anyway, I'm incredibly satisfied with the brush. Very easy and quick to use. Without a doubt, a good alternative at a low cost. Volumaster pro is really volume! I've tested this styling tool a few times and I really like it! I have a swirl at the back of my head, so I was happy when I saw that I would get to try this product. I've taken a small section of hair at a time, teased it, and then used the styling tool as close to the scalp as possible for one-two seconds. And then I brush it out and Tadaa - the swirl is gone and the volume is there! 😃 I've tested it all over my hair and had volume all the way until the next hair wash. Tip - Don't use the Volumaster pro too close to the parting or framing the face, as it may show through on day two. Hair type: thin and wavy In a time where there are advanced hair tools like Dyson and 4-in-1 stylers, this one was a bit disappointing. 😔 It did its job of giving the hair a nice salon fall, but that's pretty much it. 🤷‍♀️ The ionic function that is supposed to provide shine and prevent frizzy hair, I can't say delivered on its points. ⚡ Even after working with the hair for a while, other products will probably have to take care of that problem. First, I just want to thank OBH Nordica, Björn Axén, and Lyko for your trust in letting me test this tool✨🤩 I am more than satisfied and will definitely continue to use the volume master several times! My hair is typically Scandinavian, thin hair strands but very many of them, flat and has totally zero volume🤷‍♀️ I think I have tried almost EVERYTHING to get volume, like shampoos, leave-in products, round brushes, blow-drying up and down, yeah you name it, but my hair always lays flat, but I think this could be a success tool for me😍 I love how the wave part is designed to go from very coarse waves to smaller so it kind of fades out, super nicely done design-wise and so smartly thought out🤏🏼 I was really impressed! A bit about my hair: Thick hair strands, thick, long, dry, frizzy, and naturally curly, untreated! Sensitive scalp! It was so much fun to test this heat tool! I never thought I could get such a nice lift with my heavy mane! But look, incredible result! The styler is very easy to handle and it works smoothly and is easy to use! Great also for a quick fix! I love it! Heats up quickly already after a minute, so incredibly good! Maintains a consistent temperature of 180 degrees and has a long 3 m rotating cord! I haven't teased my hair before using it since my hair gets incredibly tangled and hard to detangle afterwards! I still find that the styling holds up great throughout the day or for hours in the evening for the party! Thank you Lyko for the opportunity to test this gem, the OBH Nordica Bjørn Axén Tools Magic Style Brush PRO 30 mm heat brush! Here come my thoughts and experiences after the test! A bit about my hair: Coarse hair strands, thick, long, dry, frizzy, and naturally curly, untreated! Sensitive scalp! This is really the right styling product for me to use. With its long cord (3m) which is super great, thank you for that! A good manual is included. Makes no noise😍! The brush is easy to understand, used on dry hair, simple stylish design, not heavy (perfect for those of us with pain or weakness), comfortable in the hand and gives a beautiful result! Quick heating. And a light that turns on when it’s on! There are 2 heat settings to test, 1 & 2. I mostly use setting 2! It’s important though that I brush through my hair a few times beforehand with a hairbrush (less risk of it getting stuck in the brush) and then section the hair to make styling easier! When styling, I use heat protection. It may take a few tries to get the technique down, this is of course individual... I’m still learning...! I have fallen in love with this heat brush! I’m super satisfied! It’s fun to use and the result on my hair is so nice! Shiny and soft hair, curls or straight hair! I had the honor of testing the Magic Style Brush PRO 30 mm - OBH Nordica x Bjørn Axen. I haven't used many styling tools before, except for the classic flat iron, so this has been a bit of a challenge for me since handling this type of tool isn't in my muscle memory. However, it has been very easy to use anyway, which is greatly appreciated. I have tested this in different ways, more towards the curly side by wrapping the hair around the entire brush, as well as testing to curl the hair only at the ends. I have used curlers in some cases, and in other cases without, and I don't notice any significant difference in using curlers or not. The review below is therefore under the above conditions. 🤭 MY HAIR - Dry and relatively lifeless - Shoulder-length thin hair that gets greasy very easily. - Curly at the base but I believe it's too dry for the natural curls to come through. 🤭 PLUS - Very simple to use - Extra long cord, and it is rotatable so you don't get stuck in the cord. - Two different heat settings. - There is a simpler “comb function” on the side of the heat brush that I appreciated very much. - Can be used in different ways to achieve a more curly or flat result. 🤭 MINUS - Doesn't hold as well on my hair as I had hoped. I've had a really hard time getting the curls or similar to hold for a longer period. I've experimented with different techniques and products before using the tool, but unfortunately, I don't find that it holds better. 🤭 OVERALL IMPRESSIONS I usually don't focus so much on styling my hair since I haven't found it particularly fun to deal with. However, with this brush, I find it more enjoyable since it is such a time-efficient tool to use, while the result is good. The only negative thing I find about this is that the result doesn't last long on my hair. However, I believe it has to do with my hair and not the tool since my hair is generally a bit harder to work with. I love a really gorgeous blow-out look, but I am completely hopeless when it comes to achieving it with a hair dryer (or even with a Dyson!). I just can't get it right, and that's why Björn Axén's heat brush is absolutely perfect. It's like they say, a hybrid between a curling iron and a round brush. You need to brush through the hair once with the brush to then roll the hair up in it, hold it for a while, and voilà; beautiful “effortless” curls. One tip that I haven't had much time to play with yet is to roll the hair in curlers to let them cool there; that way the curls hold better. It's important not to forget the heat protection, after all, it's a heat tool you're working with. I, who have super curly hair, had to blow-dry my hair until it became relatively flat to then work in the curls. I definitely think you can achieve the curls without this extra step, but for me, it gets a bit too drawn out.
