Surprisingly good for fine hair
I was convinced this would be too heavy for my hair. It absolutely wasn’t. 🖤 My hair is typically Nordic, many thin strands. Usually, my hair gets heavy and greasy from most products of this type. 🖤 Even though it contains silicones, it worked perfectly. 🖤 And I really like the scent, probably because of good associations from hairdresser visits. To me, the scent has notes of lemon, lavender, and spices. The scent is not overpowering. 🖤 I think the perfume might be too strong for those who don’t like or can’t use perfume. 🖤 The product contains parabens and some allergens that might be negative for some. But on the other hand, ingredients that make hair easy to comb, give shine, and lock in moisture. Got the chance to test this leave-in from the #lykotestpilot #waterclouds gloss revieve series😍 so I've been testing it for a couple of weeks now. My hair: Thick Curly, color-treated, frizzy I usually struggle with gloss products not giving much gloss to my thick curly hair, but with this series I've seen more gloss in my hair. However, I didn't feel that this contributed much extra gloss😅 I've used this leave-in 2-3 times a week on towel-dried hair after using shampoo and conditioner and a hair mask once a week. But I've used this one once a week. I use this as heat protection before blow-drying and straightening. Without it getting too heavy in the hair. It leaves the hair soft, silky smooth, and I feel I get less frizz from the spray combined with the shampoo and conditioner. Otherwise, a light and nice spray that's easy to distribute in the hair💕 Also a big plus that the series is vegan. The only negative is that it says it has a scent of flowers, fresh apple, and warm vanilla, but unfortunately I don't recognize this. But I have used this one once a week. Dry
Dry product, so a little goes a long way and since I don’t use it more than once a week except in the beginning when I used this every wash the first 5 washes as recommended. I don’t feel a big difference but still think it does something. It feels like my hair strands have become a bit stronger but I also don’t know 100% if this product specifically contributed to that. Many hype this up to the skies and I think it requires a lot of time and continuous use to see bigger results if you don’t have incredibly, incredibly damaged and bleached hair. However, the technology and ingredients seem promising so based on that they should have done something. I’ve used it for 9 months so I will continue to use it and see if I notice a bigger difference so I’ll get back!! I use it as Abbey Young recommends since my lengths need lots of moisture so you let it work for 4 minutes after deep cleansing shampoo and then put in conditioner and rinse out. I think this method works better as I feel I get more moisturized hair this way while also getting the repairing properties from K18.
