First of all: I have been a big fan of pure squalane oil from another brand for probably ten years now. I use squalane on the eye area, on the rest of my face after serum and moisturizer, in the lengths of my hair, and on dry cuticles. Squalane is a so-called stable oil that does not oxidize easily, and it should be able to penetrate quite well into the skin compared to oil from e.g. rosemary and olive tree 🌿 In Dual Essence from Sensai, there is fortunately a portion of squalane, how much is uncertain, but it is at least first on the ingredient list. Unfortunately, olive oil has also snuck into the serum. A Google search shows that olive oil is not particularly stable and should be stored cool in a light-tight container to increase shelf life (the latter also applies to squalane). This bottle is made of uncolored glass, so that should be taken into account. Olive oil is also not a first choice for use on my face - there are simply better ingredients, like the mentioned squalane. Otherwise, on the ingredient list, we unfortunately also find other less friendly ingredients (that maybe not everyone can tolerate either) - linalool, dimethicone, perfume, alcohol, and various plant extracts. Several of these are known allergens, and alcohol is directly drying 😩 It goes a bit against the product's purpose, to provide lots of moisture! The perfume, however, gives the product that little extra in its own way - it smells like an exclusive spa, and I can somewhat like that! Just not on my face, and definitely not at night 🙈 The perfume would have been lovely in a shower gel, for example 💕 I have therefore used Sensai Dual Essence occasionally on my face during the day to get a bit of variation in products, and in the lengths of my hair. That way, I get the nice scent in a suitable amount and don’t have to think too much about whether I will react to any of the ingredients. The glow it gives is also nice, I guess dimethicone contributes a bit there. The serum also provides a nice base for face makeup 💃🏻 It is written about the ingredient koishimaru silk royal, which Google tells me is a type of silkworm that spins particularly thin silk threads. Uncertain what this does for the skin? 🤔 In my world, anti-aging products are typically exfoliating and thus renewing, like e.g. retinol and various acids. The price is also something quite unique for me 🙈 It is nice to treat oneself to something extra beautiful from time to time, but for me, function is most important when it comes to skincare and cosmetics in general 🥵‍♀️ Here I don’t quite see what makes this serum worth the money. As a #lykoinflutester, I received the Total Lip Treatment Stick from #Sensai 😍 I am above average fond of lip balm (maybe closer to addicted) and always have one readily available! I have used CrazyRumors for the last 3 years, and various pharmacy lip balms before that, so this is so far the most expensive and exclusive one I have used ✨ I have tested the lip balm every day for 2 weeks and am quite satisfied. I feel my lips have become softer and I haven't needed to apply as often as I usually do. But I haven't noticed much else and think this is a lip balm that needs to be used over a long time before you really see the effect ⏳ ➕ The consistency is soft, it feels nice to apply and makes the lips silky soft ✨ ➕ It lays a protective layer, without feeling uncomfortable and lasts a decent amount of time ➕ Suitable for all lips, but especially good for us over 35 as it contains Koishimaru silk and is anti-aging 😇 ➕ The design and packaging are pretty and simple, and of good quality ➕ Can be used as a primer under lipstick, which gives a smoother surface and a nicer result ➕ Fragrance-free - has no taste or smell ➕ 655kr is expensive for a lip balm, despite the good qualities ➖ Not vegan ➖ According to EthicalElephant, Sensai cannot be considered «cruelty free» because their products are tested on animals in countries like China 💔 But if you can afford it, this lip balm is definitely recommended; it gives silky soft lips and is supposed to smooth out wrinkles over time ✨✨✨✨

I have tested the Sensai Lasting Plump Lipstick. These come as refills for the beautiful container. It is so easy to both take out and put in new product. I have tested the colors Ruby Red and Rosy Nude. The formula of these lipsticks is absolutely fantastic. They glide easily on the lips, feel very moisturizing, and have good longevity. I usually have to reapply if I have eaten or drunk, but that is to be expected from a lipstick. The color Ruby Red is a lovely red shade, which is very pigmented! I rarely wear red on my lips, but it’s very nice to have this in the collection, especially during the holiday party season. But my favorite is Rosy Nude - a beautiful nude-colored lipstick with small shimmer particles. It is my perfect everyday nude! 😍 The shimmer is not overly visible, but gives a nice glow to the lips. I have tested the Sensai Dual Essence. This is a two-phase elixir that combines serum and oil. It is supposed to give glow, nourishment, and moisture to the skin. It should also reduce fine lines and wrinkles, as well as soothe the skin. The oils consist of olive, peppermint, and squalane, and 25% essence. I have a combination to dry skin type, which gets a bit extra dry during the fall and winter. I have tested this both during the day and at night, but I prefer to use it in the evening, as it sits a bit on the skin which can interfere with makeup during the day. It comes in a lovely glass bottle with a screw cap, and you have to pour out the product. I would have preferred if this came in a pump or dropper, as it is a bit difficult to control how much product comes out. It has a mild and somewhat spa-like, fresh scent. My skin can react to perfume in skincare, but that is not the case with this. I have applied this under my night cream, and I wake up in the morning with well-moisturized skin with a lot of glow. I have not seen any reduction in fine lines, but I have only used it for a couple of weeks, so I am excited for what comes next. I can absolutely recommend this essence, the only downside is the high price tag. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #SENSAI

Wow, what a lovely case for lipstick! It's so convenient that you can just buy a refill for this. It looks gorgeous and it's super easy to insert a refill when it's empty. I also love that the cap has a magnet so it easily clicks into place after use. I struggle a lot with dry lips, especially in the winter months. Usually, I prefer lip balm in a tube, as I often feel they sit better on the lips, moisturize well, and require less frequent application. This lip balm feels really good on the lips. It moisturizes well, contains oils, wax, and Koishimaru Silk - which is Sensai's main ingredient. It is also said to have anti-aging properties. It has no scent, which is a big plus for me. I have used this both alone, over and under lipstick, and over lip liner. It works just as well for all areas of use. I have to apply this more often than, for example, a lip balm in a tube, but that’s okay. The only downside to this is the steep price tag. I will use it up, as I really like it. But 655 kroner for a lip balm is a bit too steep for me 😅 #LYKOINFLUTESTER #SENSAI

I got to try the Sensai Lasting Plump Lipstick in the shades LP07 Rosy Nude and LP01 Ruby Red. The lipsticks are supposed to provide hydration, long-lasting shine, and be comfortable on the lips. My opinion on the lipstick and the formula: ◾ Easy to apply thanks to the shape that is a bit narrower, allowing for more precision ◾ Hydrating, doesn’t settle into fine lines or cling to dry patches ◾ Comfortable to wear ◾ Needs to be reapplied throughout the day, which is expected from this type of lipstick Color Ruby Red: ◾ Gives a nice shine ◾ Tints the lips a bit, which makes the color "necessary" to look good ◾ Easy to get the edges of the lip with the thin and sharp side of the lipstick, which is extra important with a red shade ◾ A bit cooler in tone Color Rosy Nude: ◾ A slightly glittery pink shade ◾ Super nice everyday shade, a simple and luxurious "grab and go" In summary, a comfortable and nice lipstick formula that doesn’t settle into fine lines or emphasize dry patches. Needs to be reapplied throughout the day. Only sold as refills and used in Sensai's Lipstick Holder, which is a convenient way to switch between different shades, though one wishes the prices were a bit lower since you have to buy the lipstick holder. I got to try the Sensai Total Lip Treatment Stick, which is described as a moisturizing, anti-aging formula that counteracts lines on the lips. First and foremost, I have to say that the packaging is super stylish. It feels luxurious and sleek, I also appreciate that it has a bit of lightness to it and that the lid doesn’t "fall off" like some lip balms. I really appreciate that the product is fragrance-free. It is a bit thinner in consistency, which is both positive and negative. The positive is that it is easy to apply even without a mirror since you don’t risk getting a thick layer of product around the lips that looks a bit clumpy, hair doesn’t get stuck in the product, and as Sensai themselves suggest, it works well as a primer under lipstick. The downside is that I can miss the extra moisture and fat that is needed now in winter, which means I use another lip mask at night. Since the price tag is still high, I wish I didn’t have to buy several different products to get soft lips, but that might also be a concern that doesn’t exist for the rest of the year, and the product itself is wonderful and user-friendly. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #SENSAI

I got to try Sensai Dual Essence. An elixir that is a mix of oil and serum with the idea of calming the skin, softening the skin, providing moisture, and reducing wrinkles. Can be applied in several different ways and should suit all skin types. A little about me before I dive into my opinions on the product! I have a normal to dry skin type that is sensitive and easily gets clogged. I have often struggled with oil on my face as I have gotten many clogged pores from it. My opinion on Dual Essence is as follows: ◾️ Incredibly economical product that will last a long time! ◾️ Does not leave an oily feeling on the skin ◾️ I think it works best when you mix 2-3 drops into your night cream or use it on its own as the last step in your skincare routine, especially now in winter ◾️ Luxurious packaging in feel and appearance ◾️ No particular scent that bothers ◾️ Gives a nice glow ◾️ Works well to mix into foundation as Sensai suggests for a wonderful radiance ◾️ Can be used for hair and cuticles, but it feels a bit wasteful when the product is so expensive? Well, for me, this is only used on the face, and any leftover product can be massaged into the hands ◾️ Absolutely an expensive product, but a really luxurious gift for yourself or someone you care about In summary, an expensive but luxurious product. I haven't seen any immediate reduction in wrinkles, but I definitely get a nice glow and wake up with soft skin in the morning. I also haven't had any issues with clogged pores, which is a big plus!
