The best Christmas gift set of the year?
I have been so lucky to receive Sensai's Make-up Bestsellers Limited Set which #lykoinflutester ✨ My name is Kristine, I am 35 years old and love everything related to beauty and makeup. Over many years, I have tested an incredible number of products from different brands. And you can believe that I have tested both of these two products from Sensai before, and I understand well why this set is called “Make-up Bestsellers,” because these are probably the 2 products from Sensai that I have liked the most over the years 🥰 ▪️Sensai Translucent Loose Powder is a transparent and super lightweight setting powder that sets makeup without looking dry or cakey. It contains light-reflecting particles that make the skin matte without looking lifeless and dry. And it does not emphasize fine lines or texture. The skin looks like a filter after application. When I apply the powder, I always go over with a small fluffy brush with powder under the eyes before I go in with the powder puff. This is to get the “wet” makeup I already have under my eyes to be a little less wet so that I do not lift the makeup or make it cakey when I apply powder with the powder puff. Also, always work the powder well into the powder puff in your hand to distribute the powder evenly over the puff and for an even distribution of powder where you need it. This is a setting powder I have used on and off for many years, and it is still one of my favorites to this day. Very nice with this small size you get in this set, which is perfect to have in your bag or when you are traveling. BUT I think it could be a little bigger. The original contains 20g of powder, and this contains only 3.5g. Between 7-10g would have been perfect considering the price of the set. ▪️Sensai Lash Volumiser 38°C is a mascara that is supposed to give volume, last all day, and the best part - it removes so easily with warm water (hence the name, 38°C). I love the brush on this mascara, as it really grabs every single lash from root to tip. It gives good volume after 2 coats, but I also like that it gives good length to the lashes at the same time. It could probably be a little better at separating the lashes, but again, this is a volumizing mascara, the brush is not designed to separate as well as it gives volume. But it holds the curl of my lashes all day, stays well all day without flaking or smudging under the eyes. Perfect travel size to have in your bag or when traveling. I also love how easily it rolls off the lashes when I take a warm shower. I don’t need to rub or work hard to remove it 👏🏻 All in all, I think this set is perfect to give to someone you love for Christmas, or for yourself, as it contains Sensai's two bestsellers that are favorites among many - myself included. Perfect gift for someone or yourself 💯
I got to try #senai 's kit with their well-known 38° mascara and their nice powder, both in travel size. I'm not a girl who usually uses powder as I find that my skin gets way too dry and the makeup almost looks cakey, so I didn't think this powder would be better, but oh how wrong I can be! 🤭 The powder is not heavy mattifying but still leaves a little glow while really setting the makeup in place. I think the powder is really good after ten hours of errands, walks, fixing, in rain and wind, and the makeup was still nice at 10 PM! 👑 I think it resembles Laura Mercier's powder a bit, but maybe Sensai's is even thinner and easier to work with. The mascara is incredible, definitely the best 38° mascara I've tried. I get a nice lash curl even though I haven't used an eyelash curler, and it holds through everything! No flaking or drying out, just really an iconic mascara ✨ The kit is perfect if you want to try Sensai but not spend 💸 on a full size! It's also a perfect Christmas gift for someone 🥹, I could imagine my mom or mother-in-law would really appreciate this because it's quality and a good size for the products. I will definitely pack this kit for Spain, it's convenient and takes up no space. Mascaras should be discarded after about three months, so it's actually smart to buy as travel size (I dislike throwing away products that aren't finished). 😇 The powder will last a long time, it takes so little of it to get an effect. It may look small, but it really takes so little product to set the makeup. Perfect kit
I got to test this kit and I've had time to use the products for a while now! #lykoinflutester #sensai I really think the packaging is nice, love the simplicity! It feels a bit luxurious! 🫶🏼 The mascara brush is great, I like this type of brush. It's easy to reach all the lashes, and I only needed two coats🫶🏼 The powder comes with a puff, I must say it was just okay, but I prefer a larger puff. 🫶🏼The mascara is 38-degree which is great, it's SO easy to remove! Love it❤️ 🫶🏼 Very little product is needed, this applies to both the mascara and the powder! Even though the packaging is smaller, this lasts a long time! 🫶🏼 I find that the powder doesn't give shine, which it should. Instead, it mattified my makeup (so I had to add more glow) BUT during use, I think the makeup lasts all day 🫶🏼The mascara doesn't fall down under the eyes, it stays in place all day! In summary, I think the mascara is great, I really recommend it if you, like me, like 38-degree! First time trying Sensai products
This time I got Make-up bestsellers set from Sensai, and I was sceptical at first, but was pleasantly surprised on how these products suit me and my needs. Kit includes: - 38 degrees volume mascara - mini version - removes with warm water. I have a lot to say about this mascara, because I finally in my entire life found something that doesn't smudge so much in my under eyes! This was awesome to find this product. A bit of difficulty is that I'm not used to straight brushes. - transparent fixing powder - definitely goes in my make up kit. Super fine powder that you won't see on your face at all. Magic Powder
Does everything it promises and more. One of the best powders out there. When you really want a feather-light powder that makes your makeup look like it was finished by a professional, this powder does not disappoint. Excellent for your own makeup bag, as well as for a professional makeup artist's kit. Especially if you're looking for a powder that works well with fine lines or even deeper wrinkles without compromising on a beautiful finish, this is a great product to try. The product is also extremely economical, so don't worry about its initially small size. I'm 34 years old and appreciate a satin finish in my makeup base, and this is great for finishing that look. The mascara wasn't mind-blowing in the set for me, but it wasn't bad either, and overall a lovely gift set that, thanks to the powder alone, is worth adding to Santa's sack. 🥰🎄🎁 The mascara holds up well in everyday use and comes off wonderfully easily without irritating sensitive eyes. The skin & makeup rejoice!
WOW, what a mist!! It really feels like spraying a silky, thin cloud over the face, and it settles so evenly and nicely without the slightest drop or spot. The result? The skin feels so fresh, hydrated, and light, no sticky feeling at all. The scent is also wonderful! Not for me
As a #lykoinflutester, I received this from #Sensai and here comes my review. It’s a big disappointment for me, or rather - this product did not suit my skin for five cents. I have normal (to dry) skin and some red pigment changes around my cheeks and at times some pimples/breakouts all over my face. Now that I’ve tried this, nothing has happened, so neither better nor worse. 🤷♀️ I don’t feel that my skin has become smoother either. I like the packaging, but I’m terrified of dropping the bottle on the floor, and I think it has a pleasant scent and that the serum is thin and easy to apply. The positives stop there, however, as my skin doesn’t absorb it at all, so it feels like I’m completely oily in the face. I’ve tried using just this and mixing it with day/night cream, but I experience the same thing regardless, that it becomes like a greasy film, and I, who always sleep on my side, feel like all the product ends up on the pillowcase and does no good there. 😔 Additionally, I think I react to some ingredient because I get all warm, red, and have a little “tingling” feeling in my face after application. Maybe it’s worth trying what Jessika suggests below, to use a little less product since it seems to be very concentrated in consistency. Often, you need to use a completely new product continuously for about 2-3 months (depending on the ingredients the product contains) before you see and feel a difference. This is because the skin needs to adjust to the new product before it can deliver the promised results (with the right skin type). Fingers crossed that it might work 🙏

As a #lykoinflutester, I received this from #Sensai and here comes my review. I can say that EXACTLY everything in the product description is true! I've never experienced a lip balm that gives this perfect feeling and moisture on the lips and lasts a very long time! Since I got this, I have basically had nothing else on my lips. I always put primer on my face and this on my lips, then the rest of my makeup and nothing else on my lips because I think it’s more than enough with the nice shine the lips get from this. The packaging is luxurious and well-made, which is a plus! But even though I only have good things to say, I probably won’t buy it again since 635kr is a bit too much for my wallet, and there are similar products (that are almost as good) for less money. As a #lykoinflutester, I received this from #Sensai, and häääääär comes my review. 🤗 A reusable case for their fantastic Lasting Plump Lipsticks, and yes - the fact that it is reusable is something I like since it only needs to buy a refill either when the first one is out or if you want to vary and have different colors. Super easy to change the refill! However, I’m not completely friends with it as I think the lipstick gets too long and a bit awkward to carry in my handbag or jacket pocket, and that’s a downside. 🤓 (See picture for comparison with my hand) But incredible quality! Lagom is best
I have, as a #lykoinflutester, received two lipstick refills from #Sensai, and I’m happy about it because I think I’ve found a new favorite color AND formula! These apply nicely on the lips, and you don’t feel dry at all, which I usually experience with lipsticks. This is more like lip balm with color and is very pleasant on the lips! LP07 Rosy Nude - my favorite, which is “my lips but better” with a little shimmer in it and suited me well for both everyday and festive occasions. LP01 Ruby Red - a nice red color that you can build up however much pigment you want. The lipstick holder comes in a stylish velvet pouch, packed in an elegant box, and the first impression is truly impressive. It has a solid quality, and you can tell it’s not made of cheap plastic. The fact that the lid slides into place without a clicking sound shows how well-made it is. Inserting and removing the refills is easy. Just follow the instructions and remember to take care of the white lid that comes with it. It’s easy to make a small mistake and twist it with the lid on, which can result in a small dent in the lipstick, but it can still be used, so it’s not a problem! I have tested the product with two shades from Sensai. It’s fantastic that the container can be reused, and you can change colors when you need to. I have now tested this practical and eco-friendly concept from Sensai with a reusable lipstick holder and refills💄 The lipstick holder comes in a velvet pouch, which in turn comes in a box, so the first thing I thought was "wow, this is quality!" Moisturizing and lovely color!
As a #lykoinflutester, I have tried the Sensai Lasting Plump Lipstick LP01 Ruby Red and I am truly impressed! 😍 This lipstick gives a lovely shine, color, and moisturizes the lips in a fantastic way. The color Ruby Red 👄 is perfect for festive occasions and adds such a nice touch that really elevates the whole look. I also had the chance to try LP07 Rosy Nude, which is a wonderful everyday color. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a picture with Rosy Nude, as I got a little too eager when I was about to change the refill and accidentally twisted it. This led to the lipstick breaking, which was a shame, but it doesn’t affect my opinion of the product. Both shades are super pretty and I love that they come as refills, making them both practical and environmentally friendly. Even though the longevity isn’t the best and the lipstick needs to be reapplied after food and drink, it’s worth it for the lovely feel and look. I highly recommend these lipsticks to anyone who wants both shine and moisture in their lips! Not for bone-dry lips
I tested this Total lip treatment stick from Sensai and had somewhat high expectations since the brand is known for luxurious products and not least considering the price😩 The design is sleek and practical, perfect for the bag as they themselves say. And I can feel that this is a product of good quality where the cap fits well✨ The lip balm is super easy to apply and feels silky soft on the lips. Unfortunately, I experienced that the moisturizing effect did not match the price. My lips only felt temporarily softer and did not help with my dry lips that I got when we had minus degrees here where I live. So this will not be the lip balm I use when my lips need moisture, but it’s nice to have when I just want something simple on my lips that gives a little shine. I’m also glad I tried the tip of using it as a primer under lipstick, because it was really good there! Beautiful Lipstick
I have tested the Lasting Plump Lipstick from Sensai for about three weeks, and I am truly impressed! The lipstick lives up to much of what it promises: It has a light and smooth texture, and it is incredibly easy to apply. The consistency is just right, and the color stays well throughout the day. Even after a long day, I only needed to touch up once, which says a lot about how durable it is. Rosy Nude is more natural and gives a bit of shine due to small glitter particles. What makes this lipstick extra special is the refill concept. The lipstick holder can be reused, and it has an elegant design with a nice weight – it feels luxurious in the hand. It even comes with a small velvet pouch that gives an exclusive feel. Although the lipstick is moisturizing and nice, I found that my lips could still feel a bit dry and flaky after a whole day – especially now in winter. I might have expected a bit more on this point, but it definitely provides good moisture compared to many other lipsticks. As for the plumping effect, I didn’t notice much of this, but it’s not something I necessarily look for in a lipstick. Oil Serum for Winter
I have been so lucky to test Sensai Dual Essence for just under a month. This is a combination of oil and serum that promises to add moisture, soften the skin, and give glow – while also reducing visible signs of aging over time. The product is suitable for all skin types and can be used in various ways, making it versatile. I have normal to dry skin (in winter), but I can easily get breakouts, especially from oil products. First and foremost, the packaging is beautiful – the bottle is made of glass with an elegant design that feels luxurious. The product has a clean and pleasant scent and is easy to use: You shake the bottle well, and a few drops are enough for the face and neck. I like to mix a couple of drops into my night cream or face cream, both morning and night. This gave a lovely moisture boost, while the skin got a nice glow without feeling heavy or sticky. The product is very economical in use and lasts a long time, which partly justifies the high price. Still, I don’t notice immediate changes regarding the reduction of wrinkles or other significant results, but I believe this is a product that requires time and consistent use to show full effect.
