As a #lykoinflutester, I have been tasked with testing this pre-treatment. My hair is thin and fine, but dry and needs lots of moisture, while products with a lot of moisture often weigh it down, so I often have a hard time finding the perfect products. This pre-treatment is supposed to remove product buildup and lime from the hair. We have our own well with lots of lime, so I was really looking forward to testing this product. The consistency is quite thin and easy to distribute in the hair. You need to use quite a bit, but it feels okay since it doesn't need to be used every time. The scent is heavy and a bit musky. It smells like a perfume store, so if you're very sensitive to scents, I wouldn't recommend it. Together with other products, it becomes very strong, and you can smell it for several days. Fortunately, the product can be used with other products, so I've used other shampoos and conditioners while testing it, and it works great, and the scent isn't as strong. Shampoos usually lather very little when the water is hard, but after using this, you get a lovely lather, and the hair feels super clean. The only downsides are the price and the scent, but overall, it's really a product that works! #kerastase

Adds volume Stays clean between my washes. Which is every other day to every 3rd day. Read the instructions beforehand as the shampoo needs to sit for 5 minutes, and if you’ve used the serum before, it should be applied directly on top without rinsing off. It’s easy to get a good lather and wash through the hair. I absolutely think my hair looks healthier, has a nice shine, feels soft, and is easy to comb through. The series is supposed to help remove limescale from the hair and strengthen it. I definitely feel like the shampoos can do that. Sometimes I feel like my hair isn’t completely clean after other shampoos, but I think the job is done well here! 🧖‍♀️ What’s great is that the series can be used together or one product at a time, so it works with, for example, other conditioners or masks. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #KERASTASE

Easy to detangle hair The scent is not like a classic balm that goes towards sweet or floral scents, but more fresh with citrus scent. Very lovely consistency of the balm, more like a balm than conditioner, goes easily into the hair and rinses out easily. A handy packaging to get the product out. I feel like I need to use about the same amount of product, if not a little less for my hair than I usually do. Read the instructions as the balm should sit in like a mask for 3-5 minutes. Lovely design on the bottle, though it would have been good to have a bit clearer text on what the product is for. I was close to mixing up the balm and the shampoo! The hair becomes very shiny, soft, and looks healthy. Hard to know how it works against the limescale in the water, but since the hair feels healthier, I feel the product delivers what it promises. However, I have used several products from the same series in the pictures. Positive as you can use one product from the series and then complement with another brand. A little about my hair, I have thick colored hair from a few years back and hair that lately needs a bit more nourishment and support. I'm also losing some right now. We who live in southern Skåne have a lot of lime in our water, so we really need products that work against that! Very interesting product! I like that it should be used before shampoo and also in conjunction with the shampoo so you don't have to rinse twice. It's a transparent serum that is applied to the hair. I find that you need to have the hair a bit more on the wet side before applying it and that it still requires a fair amount of product. I perceive the scent as citrusy and not like other shampoos that are sweet/flowery. It's a lovely serum that comes in a pump bottle, which makes it easy to dispense. The products in the series can be used individually and do not need to be in conjunction with the rest of the series, which means you can choose which part you want. This serum should be used for the first 5 washes and then as needed 👌 The only downside is that the product is expensive! I think my hair stays between washes almost a whole day longer and I absolutely think it has more shine and feels healthier ✨ #LYKOINFLUTESTER #KERASTASE

Soon I can write a full review of the product, but here comes a little interim report on what my natural curls think of the mask that is a bit too good to be true: The mask is VERY nourishing, and I was afraid the curls would become heavy. The photo with the black shirt is after regular wash+styling, and the others are the day after I washed with the mask and refreshed the curls a bit. The curls don’t have as much volume with the mask, but I wouldn’t say they are heavier, just different. The hair doesn’t feel heavy and stretched, as I was afraid of, but the curls are more gathered (so more hair in each curl) and the curls/waves are softer. Some of the curls/waves around the face are honestly almost perfect, if that’s the look you’re going for. The look with more volume (last photo) has its expression and is maybe a bit more festive, the look after the mask is softer. Just as the title says, this is one of the few products that I find makes a difference for my hair. I have bleached my hair for over three years and have struggled to find products that can help my hair repair and recover. Kerastase nutrive 8H magic night serum is a dream! My hair feels cooperative, shiny, and soft. It is the ultimate product to use during the day/evening, and no annoying film forms either. My hair absorbs moisture quickly and smells wonderful! It absolutely does not need to be hidden by putting it up or anything like that. I highly recommend this product. It has transformed my hair for the better and maintains my hair between my bleaching periods. My hair feels stronger, fuller, and longer as the hair strands do not break as easily anymore. I use this hair product diligently three times a week and alternate it with a moisturizing product from Kerastase to avoid overloading my hair with proteins. Rating-wise, Kerastase nutrive 8H magic night serum is a strong 4/5. There’s nothing to complain about! The hair feels light and silky after washing, and the result is not so frizzy (I have a lot of broken hair because I constantly wear a ponytail). Kérastase Elixir Ultime L’Huile Originale Hair Oil is definitely one of the best hair oils I’ve tried (I’ve used Olaplex, Gisou, and Amika hair oils, for example). A small amount is enough for long hair, so the bottle lasts a really long time. The oil’s scent is, in my opinion, special, somewhat earthy(?) mild scent 😁 So I didn’t get the same luxurious vibe as with other Kérastase products. The click-on screw cap is practical, as it stays on well, and there are no loose parts in the packaging that could get lost. The best part is that there’s a refill pack available for this product, which makes usage more eco-friendly, and changing the refill pack is really easy (you can also see it in the video I’m attaching). #KERASTASE #LYKOTESTPILOT #lykoreview

There have been many days with curly hair, but now it was time to cut it, and then it became flat. I've been cutting my hair myself for a few years now and I think it works well. I lost some hair a few years ago, and there still isn't a super good way to cover it up, so it became Brad Mondo’s tutorial on butterfly cut, i.e., layered cutting. About my hair: I have thin “Scandinavian” hair, have dyed and bleached it a lot, so it’s mainly the lengths and ends that are damaged. I love this hair oil, as my hair is so thin that just one pump is enough for the entire lengths, I could even use less than one pump and it would have sufficed. A really good plus is that when the product has dried in, it doesn’t feel “greasy” at all in the lengths. The hair feels much softer, hydrated, and becomes shinier. The scent is also super good. I’m adding a picture where I tested this oil on my mom’s hair, she has very frizzy hair. I first applied it only on the left side, and you can really see how the frizz disappeared and the waves in her hair were highlighted and look much healthier.
