I’m a bit torn on what I think about this. I haven’t used it that many times, so I’ll keep trying it and see if my opinion changes. The packaging is very luxurious and nice to have in the bathroom cabinet. The scent is definitely a plus, a luxurious blend of citrus and floral notes that gives a fresh scent to the hair. I’ve tried using this both on towel-dried and dry hair, and you really get shine from it, but unfortunately, I find that it makes the hair look a bit lightly greasy. My hair is thin, bleached Scandinavian hair, so I don’t know if it just doesn’t work as well on that quality or if I just haven’t gotten it to work yet. However, I do think the hair gets a nice shine and feels soft. So I’m a bit divided on this product. Summary: I would probably say that there are better oils for a better price, the scent is nice and it gives shine, but there’s nothing WOW that stands out from other hair oils. I got to try Kerastase's luxurious, fragrant, and feel-good hair oil. Gloss Absolu Glaze Drops is designed specifically for long, dry, and frizz-prone hair. I would describe my own hair with the same adjectives, which is why I was very excited about this product! Appearance: Wow… such a lovely glass bottle. Kerastase has managed to make the packaging beautiful and luxurious. The bottle was so pretty that I put it on display on the shelf where I previously only had perfume bottles… Lovely! Scent: Really pleasant scent, which is both citrusy and floral… really good 🌼 Starting situation: Since my hair is naturally curly, it also tends to frizz easily. Usually, I blow-dry my hair straight, after which the hair still needs to be finished and smoothed with a straightener. To assess the hair oil's effectiveness as accurately as possible, I decided to try it on my blow-dried hair, which I hadn't gone through with a straightener. Effectiveness: When I took the oil with the pipette, I initially thought I had dosed too much. However, the oil was light enough that it didn't weigh my hair down or make it look greasy! The hair was airy while the oil tamed the frizz. Plus O M G what shine it brought! As seen in the video and before/after picture, my hair looks livelier after the hair oil. The picture has not been edited in any way, even though the color of my hair looks much brighter compared to the starting situation. I guess that's due to how the oil reflects light! These are supposed to provide lots of moisture and contain plant-based proteins + niacinamide to strengthen the hair strands. Additionally, I was recommended AMIKAs soulfood nourishing mask. I have seen several people use this, and it has been a product I have been drooling over for a while. This contains antioxidants and nutrients, and also gives the hair a lot of moisture, plus it promises to make the hair healthy and silky soft! I also ordered an all-in-one treatment from REDKEN - this supposedly has 25 benefits, so it must be good. With all this, I also bought a new hairbrush from Lyko. 💄 I, who also use (a lot) of makeup daily, really needed some replenishment of products. L’Oreal's infaillible 24H concealer is a product I truly love!! I have also become so fond of Makeup Revolution's shimmer bomb lip gloss, and chose to test a different color this time - namely «glimmer nude». I was so lucky to receive this refill and the original product through Lyko Influtester. I haven't had to use the refill yet, but the same review applies to this one, as the content is the same, just cheaper, which is absolutely fantastic. The review is therefore copied from my experience with Kérastase Chroma Éclat Hair Oil. I have been able to test it out for a few weeks now, and I am truly impressed! I have used the oil almost every day, sometimes 2 times a day since mid-December. And as you can see in the picture, the oil is economical in use and still has a bit left before it runs out. I have long, curly, and colored hair, and this oil provides both protection and care, while preventing the color from fading quickly. This hair oil gives my hair a beautiful shine without making it heavy or greasy. It makes my hair look healthy, even when it feels a bit dry or frizzy due to the curls. It gives a light, natural finish that lasts all day. It has a light, luxurious texture that absorbs quickly, and my hair feels soft after application. I have also used the oil before bedtime to smooth out any tangles I have gotten during the day. The scent is lovely, but not overwhelming, and lasts in the hair all day. I have noticed that my hair looks healthier, and it feels much more manageable. I just love this hair oil. Not sticky, lasts long, and smells so so good. The picture is before and after using this hair oil. I think the result in reality is better than what I captured in the pictures. Here comes a review of the refill itself: The refill is incredibly practical. It’s easy to swap the bottle into the original bottle, and this allows you to save both packaging and money. I think it’s great that the manufacturer offers a refill, and that it’s cheaper than buying the whole product again. So nice. Sometimes refills are more expensive (which I find so strange!!). It makes it easier to choose a more sustainable solution because I’m rarely really good at thinking about that. All in all, I was very satisfied with this product. As a #lykoinflutester, I have been able to test this hair oil from #kerastase for about three weeks. The hair oil got a strong 4/5 on its own, but the refill gets 5/5! This is incredibly easy to put in the bottle, it takes just a few seconds, and there are clear instructions included on the packaging for this! That there is quite a large price difference between the refill and the "real" hair oil I think is very good as it provides a great motivation to save a bit on nature, and also be kind to the wallet. As a #lykoinflutester, I have been testing this hair oil from #kerastase for about 3 weeks. My hair is quite thin and damaged, it also gets very easily frizzy. My routine is always to apply hair oil after showering while the hair is still wet. The packaging of this hair oil is a big plus. The fact that it is refillable is really good as it becomes much cheaper in the long run and of course better for the environment! The pump is also really good, it doesn’t dispense more than you need and hasn’t leaked or jammed at all. Even though this hair oil has worked really well for my damaged hair, it’s probably not something I will buy again as it has quite a hefty price.
