I am participating in a test panel and have received a free test product. This product is absolutely amazing and has resulted in less hair loss as I have been having issues with it lately. My hair becomes soft when it is dry and after I have brushed it. Completely impossible to brush when it is towel-dried. Easy to apply to the ends. A wonderfully scented hair serum!
I have been testing Kérastase Genesis Serum Anti Chute Fortifiant 90 ml for a few weeks now with Smartson. My first impression of the product was that the bottle was sturdy and larger than I initially thought. It was also very economical; you really don’t need much product. (You’re supposed to take one dose, meaning a pipette up to the marking, but that was too much for my taste, and I barely needed half, and it was still enough) The serum smells wonderful and didn’t make my hair greasy at all, which it easily can. I have used the serum every evening and massaged it in with a massage brush, which is very nice. A lovely routine before going to bed. I can see a noticeable difference in how much hair I’m losing and would say that my hair both feels and looks fuller, which I most likely believe is from the serum! Exceeded my expectations, and I am super satisfied. Extra plus that it smelled so fresh and good! The only negative I see with the product is the price, quite steep. But if you want an economical and good product, I still think it can be worth it. I will most likely buy the product again! I have now had the chance to test Kérastase Premiére Serum Filler Fondamental Hair Serum for a little while and would absolutely give it a thumbs up! I have hair with a lot of volume and have previously done light highlights a few times. My hair easily gets frizzy, and therefore it was exciting to see what this product could do for my hair. I really like the packaging, the scent, and the consistency of it, but I thought it would give more results than it did for my hair. The hair becomes softer and a bit less frizzy, but not “wow” as I thought. I brushed my hair today, lightly sprayed with water and scrunched in a bit more gel (gel+water on hands so the strands don’t stick in the gel and separate the curls) and when it dried, scrunched in a bit of oil from Kerastase. I have been using this product consistently every single night since February of this year. It started with me wanting to test to see if it was worth the hype, and it was! Heatless curls with a robe tie
I got inspired last night when I was about to sleep and made some heatless curls. I usually wrap the strands alternately from the front and back around the tie. I think it holds more stable during the night, and I like that not all curls go in the same direction. I blow-dried my hair 90% dry yesterday and sprayed with texture spray before I tied up my hair. I then sprayed a little over my hair with finish spray. I used the same spray when I let my hair down, and then I scrunched in a bit of oil. The hold is never as good as with heat tools, but it's totally okay. Nourishing and Effective Hair Mask
I have as #lykoinflutester received this hair mask from Redken to test for a month. I actually think a month is a bit too short to evaluate bonding products since they shouldn't be used with every wash, and I've also alternated with the conditioner from the same brand. My hair is typically Scandinavian. Thin fine hair strands that easily become flat and look dirty while also being dry and needing lots of moisture. The product is looser in consistency than what hair masks usually are, and you can be tempted to take too much. However, that's not necessary as it is very effective. The first time I used the product, my hair became way too heavy even though I washed it twice with the accompanying shampoo. On other occasions, I started with a detox shampoo before washing it with the shampoo from the same series and then continued with the hair mask. Then it turned out super good. The scent is wonderfully fruity, and even though I am quite sensitive to scents, I would have liked a stronger fragrance. After washing, it is easy to brush through and feels thick and rehydrated. It also looks significantly healthier. Big plus for only needing to sit for five minutes. Improvised Quick Styling
I air-dried my hair last time I washed it, so today my hair was like "half-shaved with sporadic fall", meaning neither good straight hair nor good curly hair. I didn’t feel like getting my hair completely wet, but still wanted to do something, so I sprayed my hair damp with water, but not as wet as one "should" if you want the best curls. If you want thicker curls, meaning to counteract frizz and thin curls that separate into even smaller, you should spray/dampen the hair to "dripping"/soaking wet to form "clumps" (there's no good word in English, but clumps means thicker collections of hair in each "curl" type) to scrunch the product into. So I basically did the opposite of what one "should"... but I thought it would be fluffier than defined, and that’s better than before at least 😜 I scrunched in #happycrazymine lock-gel (I see it more as a cream though), gel from #umbertogiannini and mousse from #tigi (not a product combo I normally use and reverse order of gel and mousse 😅) I dried a bit sporadically with the diffuser (the funnel) on the blow dryer, and when all the skinny curls were dry, I scrunched out the hard/stiff from the curls with the oil from #kerastase. I’ve seen better, I’ve seen worse ☺️ If someone else looks, they probably won’t notice a bigger difference than usual. I see that the curls are more/thinner and will probably notice the difference in durability the most, I think, but that’s negligible. Now I’m sitting in the city enjoying the late summer sun with a coffee, and my hair still looks totally okay. Linking the makeup too! It feels like I’ve spent my whole life trying to find the perfect shampoo and I actually believe I’ve never bought the same hair shampoo twice. However, I am ready to do that with this shampoo. Even though the water where I live is very hard and chalky, this lathered thick and rich already at the first wash. I always wash my hair twice to make sure it gets really clean. The scent is wonderfully fruity and even though I am quite sensitive to scents, I would have liked a stronger fragrance. Already in the shower, I feel that the quality of my hair changes and it feels much thicker. After washing, it’s easy to brush, feels thick, moisturized, and looks healthier. My hair ends usually feel very dry and worn out this week before a haircut, but now I’m almost considering postponing it for a few weeks because my hair looks so healthy. Day 3 hair and old favorite
If you remember/know how much mousse and gel I use when I style my hair curly/wavy, it’s actually pretty cool that my hair can feel this fresh on day 3, and I’ve also brushed it out today. I just lightly sprayed a bit of water over my hair since I didn’t want such defined curls today. Done! ☺️ Clarins beauty flash balm was the only thing you heard about as a primer before the "primer boom" a few years ago. Is it still selling well? It feels like it’s fallen off social media and TikToks at least. I didn’t appreciate it much ten years ago, but now I think it makes my skin feel a bit more plump when I pat it in. No difference
#lykotestpilot #kerastase I’ve tried this whole series in one month exactly. Unfortunately it is the first product from this brand that disappointed me. I have tested almost everything from Kerastase and just love it! It is usually my choice #1, but not this one, or at least not after a month. I will continue using until the bottle ends to see. Positive: - smell is amazing as well as other smells that Kerastase has, will even work if you are sensitive, it’s not strong - texture is easy to work with, it’s not making big foam so you know, but you don’t need too much product. Recommend to wash hair twice. - it did not hurt my hair or made it worse - it didn’t irritate my scalp and I didn’t get any dandruff or dryness. It is a big plus for this shampoo because I have extremely sensitive scalp. Negative: - price is not cheap - in the beginning it dried out my hair but later. - balsam is too light, didn’t help my long hair. It was dry and no sights of improvement after shower. I did give just three stars ⭐️ because this series did not do what they were supposed to do and I was waiting for it and wanted to get more strong hair. But still it’s not like to give one star because it was still good shampoo that wash hair well without irritation on the scalp. Balsam is good, but not strong enough for my colored hair, but will work good on one with fine natural hair. Serum it didn’t get at all. Freshen up the curls day two
Yesterday I posted my entire styling routine and I think you can join in on today's refresh of what we did yesterday! 🤩 The post from yesterday is among my “looks” on my profile here on Lyko social if you're curious. Besides the products used today, I also had heat protection and a little spray yesterday. Sometimes I freshen up the curls with just mousse and sometimes it becomes a whole procedure with lots of water, mousse, gelée, etc., it depends on what condition the hair is in and what I used before. I usually don’t need to do much more than what I do today when I’ve had these products, they are great!
