As an influencer, I got to test Puritos Wonder Releaf Centella Serum and Mighty Bamboo Panthenol Cream at the same time. My skin is combination skin that gets drier in the fall/winter, and I normally never get pimples or rashes. The serum is completely fragrance-free and has a light, thin, and quickly absorbing consistency that feels gentle and soothing. The packaging is sleek and convenient with good control over the dosage. Unfortunately, I got rashes during the period I used the serum together with the cream, and since I started both at the same time, I can't determine which product my skin reacted to. The cream is completely fragrance-free and has a soft, smooth, and soothing consistency that absorbs quickly without feeling greasy, but it does leave a slightly sticky film. The packaging is practical and easy to dose from, and the amount of product feels generous. During the testing period, I unfortunately got a rash all over my face 😔. Since I started with both the serum and the cream at the same time, I don’t know which one my skin reacted to or if it’s both, as nothing else in my routine has changed. It sounds like one or more ingredients in either of these or possibly both, didn't quite suit your skin. For this reason, we also recommend, as Tony mentions, to do a gradual introduction and perform a small patch test for a few days when starting with new products. It's also best to always introduce one product at a time to see how the individual skin reacts. It's great that you still found the cream to be mild, fragrance-free, and pleasant in texture, even though it left a somewhat sticky feeling for you. I have long, thick, and naturally curly hair that easily gets frizzy, so I had high hopes for The Homecurl Curl-Defining Cream. The scent is really nice, fresh, and pleasant without being too strong, which I appreciate. The product comes in a jar, which works, but I would have preferred a tube or pump bottle. It would have made it easier to dose and more hygienic, especially when using the product with wet hands. As for the results, I notice that the curls are definitely enhanced and the frizz is tamed, which is a big plus. The hair looks more defined and gathered, but unfortunately, I don't really like the feeling it leaves in the lengths. No matter how little or much I take, or how I apply it (on wet or towel-dried hair), the hair becomes a bit crispy and rough when it dries. I would have wished for a softer and more natural feel, especially since my curls are otherwise quite dry. In summary, I think it’s a product with many good qualities, nice scent, great results, and less frizz, but I wish the hair felt softer and more moisturized afterward. Hard to get even
By Lyko’s Tan-formation Self Tan Body Mousse is a budget-friendly self-tanning product with several nice qualities – but also a few things to keep in mind depending on when and how you use it. On the positive side, the mousse smells good, which is a big plus compared to many other self-tanning products. It comes in a handy pump bottle that makes it easy to dose and apply. The color that develops is brown and natural in tone, without pulling towards the orange side – something many appreciate. It sinks in very quickly without feeling the slightest bit sticky and doesn’t stain sheets or clothes either. The price is also very affordable for what you get. However, there are some downsides. The mousse lacks a guide color, which means it’s hard to see where you’ve applied – something that can lead to misses or streaks. Additionally, even though the color itself is nice, the result can be quite intense. It can feel a bit too much, especially during the winter months when the skin is at its palest – it easily gives a somewhat unnatural impression if you, like me, are almost transparent this time of year. An affordable and pleasantly scented self-tanning mousse with a nice color – but best suited for you if you already have a bit of color or use it with a gentle hand.
