My husband has decided to grow a beard, so going forward he will try to find products that suit him. So he tests, and I write. First up is Nõberu of Sweden, a relatively new brand (2016) with products aimed at men who want to "smell a bit different than pine needles." The products are also not "sold with scantily clad women in the ads." The founders have a hairdressing background and want to make products for men who don't necessarily feel at home in a typical macho culture. My husband told me he liked the product a lot and gave it 4 stars. But he pointed out that he hadn't tried many beard and face washes before, so he deducted one star because he thought there were probably better products on the market. He liked the scent, had no skin reactions, and felt that the beard became soft. I also thought it smelled good, but the scent didn't last. The scent is definitely unisex, but it clearly leans more masculine. He said the soap lathered well and was easy to use. But today it was around 17-18 degrees, gray and rainy, and I wanted something that was still cozy but a bit lighter than Tobacco Vanilla alone. So I tested it together with Elizabeth Arden White Tea – and wow, this became an incredibly nice combination. Tobacco Vanilla gives the warm and sweet base, while White Tea makes the whole scent cleaner, softer, and more airy. The result is warm vanilla, soft spicy warmth, and a fresher, elegant finish. I used 1 spray Tobacco Vanilla + 2 sprays White Tea, and I will definitely use this combination again. When I saw the name Tobacco Vanilla, I actually thought it was going to be a pretty heavy and dark scent. So I was extra surprised when I tested it for the first time. To me, it feels soft, warm, and pleasant – almost like the feeling of calm, comfort, and a bit of everyday luxury all in one bottle. The vanilla is clear but not sugary sweet, and together with tonka bean and musk, the scent gets a creamy and elegant character that keeps bringing me back to it. What I probably like the most is how versatile it is. I had imagined it to be a typical fall and winter scent, but it has surprisingly worked well through spring and now in summer too. On warm days, it becomes soft and pleasant on the skin without feeling heavy. So, I really think Lyko social should run out of followers, like how many are even in here?? And above all, I’m so surprised that followers keep coming in here 😃 I don’t even have a real goal with this. I just think it’s cozy and fun and a bit creative while my profession is loooong from mineral powder foundations and hair oils. It’s really fun that over 1200 people want to see me spend money on way too many nude palettes, variations of heat protectant, hair masks, 50 shades of pink blush, self-tanner and other stuff… but I’m also a bit surprised. I have tried sulfate-free products before, but they often leave my hair feeling or looking dirty. However, I went in with an open mind to test these Nõberu of Sweden 9 Wonders products, and I tested them all at once. ✨ Check out the 9 Wonders Anti-frizz Shampoo 250ml and 9 Wonders Anti-frizz Conditioner 250ml to see what I thought of the series' shampoo and conditioner. 🔍 I dried my hair in a towel for a while after washing, and then sprayed the 9 Wonders All-in-one No 109 Orange Cedar 200ml evenly onto damp hair. This leave-in conditioner is sufficient on its own for styling hair and heat protection, and it helped detangle my hair well - it was easy to brush through even when wet (my hair is not in the best condition 🙈). Like many other so-called heavier hair sprays, this spray is strong and not very fine. I have been able to test this multifunctional hair spray from #noberu for a few weeks. My hair is colored, curly, and frizzy. Incredibly hard to tame sometimes😅 I am very fond of Noberus' beautiful packaging overall. This hair spray comes in a handy spray bottle that distributes the product very nicely over the entire hair. Smells good of cedar wood, but you can't really smell much of orange🍊 If you don't like scents that lean towards the masculine side, you might not like this one. But I love it💓 I have used it before heat styling on both wet and dry hair. Works just as well either way. I also use it as a conditioning spray. Makes the hair easier to comb through. Gives shine and moisturizes my dry hair💦 Need to freshen up the hair a bit in the morning. A little all-in-one spray makes it feel much better🥰 I find it incredibly economical. I have been testing this shampoo from #noberu 🌸 for a couple of weeks. Unfortunately, I never got the matching conditioner that I was also supposed to test. So I think it's hard to make a hundred percent fair assessment🫣 My hair is colored, curly, and frizzy. So I thought this would be perfect for my hair. I really like the design of the noberus packaging and I love the scent of cedar wood. I don't smell much of the orange scent🍊 I feel like it smells a bit more masculine. So keep that in mind if you're not so keen on using products that feel more targeted towards men👬 Now to the results. Unfortunately, my hair is not very compatible with this shampoo.
