This is a proper creamy and rich conditioner that I have liked a lot. The result is not noticeable in the shower like many other conditioners can be, where you feel how the hair becomes soft and detangled during rinsing. It is only when the hair is dry that I have experienced the truly positive. I am not fond of overly heavy or detangling products as I struggle with very fine and thin hair. And something I have experienced with this conditioner and actually the whole series is that the hair feels very healthy but above all thicker. It doesn't feel super soft and flat, but it feels, as mentioned, just fresh with life. Very hard to explain, but it is something I have appreciated extremely much🥰 I have tested the conditioner together with the shampoo in the same series but also with other shampoos and have preferred the latter as the corresponding shampoo was something too heavy for my hair here and now. However, I do not perceive the conditioner as too heavy, but a little goes a long way and I have been careful not to apply it anywhere but the ends. Good in the lengths, less good at the roots
This shampoo unfortunately did not work at all on my thin and fine hair. It is a very heavy and creamy formula that unfortunately feels very heavy to apply at the roots. The lengths feel good even though I wouldn't say they are particularly damaged beforehand. I get a similar experience as with the hair mask in the same series, which is that the hair feels fuller. Unfortunately, the roots feel very weighed down and greasy, and it feels like there are product residues left even though I have thoroughly rinsed out the shampoo. So I almost want to wash it again because of that. It may be that this shampoo works best on very damaged hair or thicker hair, but for me, it unfortunately did not work at all. Still glad to have it at home and be able to do a treatment in between, as the hair really feels fresh after use, especially in combination with the conditioner and hair mask in the same series. After testing this hair mask for a little over 1 month, I can't help but wonder where it has been my whole life. I must admit that I am extremely bad at reading instructions, and the first uses I applied it like any other hair mask, meaning all over my hair. And it did not work well at all, as my scalp became extremely heavy and almost greasy. But since I read up and used it as intended, from the middle of my hair and out to the lengths, it has become a new favorite mask. It refines the hair in a way I have never experienced with any other product, and the feeling lasts, even after the next hair wash. This is also the first hair mask I have experienced that has made my hair feel fuller. I don't know how it's possible for my hair to feel both healthier and just fuller. Usually, my thin fine hair feels thinner after most hair masks just because they smooth and soften the hair, so it's really a big bonus🥰 I would say the scent is fresh, a bit citrusy. The consistency is thin but not runny, though quite hard to get out of the tube. Nice protection against the sun's rays
A super lovely heat protectant that feels luxurious! I love that it not only protects against wear when using heat tools but also has UV protection. And it has made it so that even I, who never use heat tools, have been able to use it to protect my hair out in the sun. I have then used it on dry hair and been able to reapply it throughout the day without my hair feeling greasy or heavy, which I can't do with many products since my hair is thin and very fine. The spray reminds me of dry shampoo when using it, but it leaves no product feel in the hair. It also doesn't feel wet; you spray it, and it distributes in large sections of the hair in a very nice way. I also experience that the hair gets a nice shine after use. Super good with an incredible scent!
I am a diligent user of spray conditioner, and this product has worked wonderfully. Small tangles have easily been combed out, and my hair has felt moisturized and super soft. I’m really impressed that such a nourishing and moisturizing product hasn’t weighed my hair down, which is usually my biggest concern since my hair is thin and fine. After using it, there hasn’t been any need to use other products like oil, which I usually always combine with detangling sprays. The scent, unlike other products I’ve tried, is mild and not overwhelming; the deep and masculine notes are there, and I like them! If you like Kevin Murphy’s products and scents, I absolutely think you will like this one✨ However, the scent isn’t something I feel lingers for very long. Not my type of product
This is a product that does what it promises. What I appreciate the most is that it doesn't stiffen, which is my only memory from a time when I used saltwater spray. But it could be my thin fine hair or my preferences that make me not really click with this product. My hair is, as mentioned, thin and fine, and volume is something I more than gladly say yes to. But I would rather have organized volume instead of mess. Because after use, my hair just feels messy and tangled. Then I get a bit of panic from the product feeling afterwards, which makes my hair feel very powdery and matte. The scent was almost what I was most excited about, and it is nice but too heavy for me, and that might be related to the feeling I get in my hair after use. When I got my husband to try it, I liked the scent more, but it is not shy, if you know what I mean. In summary, I still think the product does what it should. As I understand it, saltwater sprays are supposed to give texture and volume and lovely mess. And it definitely does that, even better than what I have tried before. There’s only positive things to say about these self-tanner drops☀️ The scent is just as fresh as the rest of the line, completely without that almost unavoidable self-tanner smell. The result is natural and not overdone, which is what I appreciate the most. And I still used 10 drops in my face cream.
