And have been for many, many years. I’ve tried both this and that… And when Ida Warg released lip balm, of course I had to try it too! My experience is obviously only positive, since the lip balm gets full marks! And I have now bought it four times. Will it become the “favorite I always reach for”? So why is it so good? Well, it keeps the lips soft. And for a long time, too. I find that I don’t need to reapply nearly as often as with other lip balms. So it’s a long-lasting product. That’s not possible, so it’s rounded up to a 4. The result of Estee Lauder’s foundation is really nice! 👌 It’s easy to apply and doesn’t get patchy or cakey. Granted, the lighting was bad when I recorded the video. But the foundation looks just as good after a full workday (and a bit more) as it does right after application. I always apply with a brush, which I find easiest (and least messy). In recent years, I’ve used elf’s halo glow setting powder on top of the foundation. And the two work really well together. ☺️ I haven’t used the foundation with primer because I haven’t had the energy to check if they work together. You know, water-based vs silicone-based… But regardless, it works just as well for me without primer. I have normal to dry skin. And I think that’s why I don’t really have a big need for primer. The foundation stays put! So yes, it’s actually a really good foundation! However, I do find it tends to feel a bit dry. The foundation is thin in consistency. Not thick or heavy at all. Just a tendency to feel dry. Luxurious bottle/packaging! 🤩 Yes, but doesn’t Estee Lauder feel a bit luxurious?! But the function? No and no! What is this? By 2026, they should have developed the packaging to be much more user-friendly. Screw cap and a big hole?! And price-wise, it’s a bit more expensive than what I usually buy. I've had foundations with just one hole myself, very good, expensive, but inconvenient to constantly try to dab uneven amounts onto the hand. A shame when you otherwise like the product. - The post was made 3 weeksRating: 1 out of 5Nope.The third and last product to review from Headon’s products is the mousse. About my hair: I have curly, dry hair, with many and coarse strands. And since I’ve gotten so curly hair (which I didn’t have at all 10 years ago 😅), I don’t really need any specific products to fix the curls (although there are better and worse ones), it usually works with almost anything. Because the curls are there anyway. 😅😅 As I said, I use a variety of products when I occasionally fix the curls. It can be mousse, curl cream, gel, and spray. So with Headon’s mousse, the curls are highlighted and fixed, just like with other products I use. Neither better nor worse. I don’t feel like the hair becomes directly stiff. Not compared to other products I’ve used. But… Those of you with curly hair know that it can be a challenge to brush out curly hair. Especially if you’ve had quite a bit of styling products. But this?! The hair became super, super rough. I do not like that. The hair is like steel wool. 😩😩 I’ve used the mousse once. The conditioner is better! ☺️ As I felt about the appearance of the shampoo, I have the same thoughts and feelings about the conditioner. The look is a bit boring/masculine/unisex. The conditioner comes in a tube with a flip cap = easy to use. The conditioner has the same sweet scent as the shampoo. And I think the scent stays in the hair and gives a pleasant fragrance. ☺️ The consistency was good, I think. As I said, I have curly, dry, coarse hair that needs lots of moisture & oil. As mentioned, the conditioner was better. It moisturizes/conditions but doesn’t fully meet what my hair needs. I always have to use a lot of product when it comes to masks, conditioners, leave-in creams, hair oils, etc. So the fact that I use a lot of Headon’s conditioner has nothing to do with this particular conditioner. It’s simply what my hair needs. So to sum up: Not a terrible conditioner for my hair. But not the very best either. - The post was made 3 weeksRating: 2 out of 5No, unfortunately.I tested three products from Headon as a Lyko test pilot, and the first to review is the shampoo. So now that it was time to review, I wanted to compare my thoughts/experiences with the product description here on Lyko. And now I notice that the text/appearance on the bottle is not the same. On mine it says: CLENSE. On Lyko (and also when I googled images) I only see: CALM. Is it a newly updated look on the bottle? Or are they two different products? Anyway, my experience with the shampoo is as follows: Appearance: meh… Maybe it’s meant as a unisex product? But I don’t feel very attracted to buying it based on the layout/appearance of the bottle. It feels a bit masculine. Function: great! great! This push cap is top notch! 👌 I’m someone who dislikes every screw cap and prefers flip tops. This is even better! Usage becomes easier than easy, with wet hands in the shower. 10/10. So scent and function/experience: the scent is lovely! Hard to describe, but it smells sweet. Sweet of what, I don’t know. 😅 But unfortunately, the shampoo doesn’t match what my hair needs. I have curly hair. Lots of hair/many strands that are coarse in texture. And my hair needs both moisture & oil. I also have a dry and itchy scalp (which I “treat” with scalp serum). Unfortunately, my hair becomes drier and more tangled from the shampoo. According to the description here on Lyko, the shampoo should moisturize the hair. But no, unfortunately not. I read a long time ago that the more pearlescent a shampoo is, the gentler/better it is for the hair. Which (as you can see) this is not. However, the shampoo is (in my experience) gentle on the scalp. 🙂 It’s supposed to be optimal if you have dandruff. I don’t have dandruff, but tried Head & Shoulders dandruff shampoo once a long time ago. I found that to be more “burning” on the scalp. So Headon’s shampoo feels gentler on the scalp, for a dandruff shampoo. So to summarize: Lovely, sweet scent. Fun with a Swedish (Malmö-based) brand. Vegan-labeled bottle, with simple function when applying. But not optimal for hair that is dry, coarse, and needs lots of moisture (even though it promises it). #lykotestpilot #headon1 product in post No, unfortunately.315 views
