Cheaper and better than this you won't get!👌
My brows have a history of heavy plucking every other day in the 00s, when extremely thin brows were the biggest trend. 🙈 Now it's been about 15 years since I stopped plucking. I only take a stray hair now and then. My brows got back their original nice shape. But sooooo sparse. 😩 I used to fill them in with eyebrow pencil. Then I had a long period when I didn't fill them in at all (because I'm usually a bit tired in the morning). But now!!! And Essence brow powder is almost a miracle for my brows! I've never gotten better results when filling in my brows. And it goes quickly too! 🙌 I've loved Essence mascaras for a while. And even here this budget product is great. I never want any other product again (at least that's what I say now). I have the color dark. And there's a slight difference between the two colors. But not very much. I use the one that's a bit lighter. And the little brush is also 10 out of 10! For 40 bucks, this is an excellent buy. 👌 #lykoreview #essence essence1 product in post Cheaper and better than this you won't get!👌 - The post was made 1 weekRating: 3 out of 5Verifierad testare
Nice, but not a new favorite.
The hardest thing about writing reviews is perfumes, I think. Probably because I find it hard to put words to scents. But i will do my best! ✊ The bottle's appearance has almost become iconic. How long has the scent been around? 5 years? I don't think it's 10 years anyway. I think no one can have missed the high heel. Not me anyway. And it comes in several variants. Blue and some darker red-pink. And I think I don't like the bottle's appearance that much. I don't love it. And I don't hate it. But I don't really have any knowledge of Carolina Herrera's scents. I got a small one in an advent calendar about 2.5 years ago. But only tested it about half a year ago. But I was unsure if the scent had changed/gotten old. But no. Now that I took it out to test, it smells the same. I didn't want to read the description of the scent before I decided what I thought, so as not to be influenced. As I said: hard to describe a perfume. It is super feminine. I would describe it as powdery/soapy and very elegant. It is not heavy. Which is good, since I don't like heavy scents. I don't experience it smelling different from application to later. Which some scents do. It has quite good longevity on the body, since it's an EDP. However, there is something about it that makes it not a favorite for me. And I read the text just now. And I think it's the citrus! And that's probably what I feel is most prominent. Which actually makes the scent a fresh scent. It's just not "for me." It is also described as floral. I can't describe that I smell any direct flowers. 🤔 But it's also common/normal to experience scents differently. And how a perfume then smells on the body. And like with the bottle's appearance, I feel the same about the scent: I don't love it. But I don't hate it either. ☺️ #lykoinflutester #carolinaherrera1 product in post Nice, but not a new favorite.87 views- The user's roll: Lyko Creator. 10 out of 10 (or at least 5 out of 5)! 🥳🤩🥰
I recorded the video yesterday, and I of course "had to" include text, not just speech, so everyone has the chance to enjoy the review, regardless of nationality. ☺️ I usually read the product description and see how well it matches my perception. Yesterday I recorded the video, and today I read the product description. I wanted to first get my own opinion without being influenced by what was described. So to the important part: Perfumes are something I love! But they are also very difficult (in my opinion) to review, as I find it hard to describe scents. Armani’s Power of you gives me a very fruity first impression. And that is the most prominent scent note in the perfume. The fruity scent stays all the time without disappearing. After a while, I notice a scent of vanilla (which I couldn’t quite identify in the video). And according to the description, passion fruit is the first thing described. Check on that! ✔️ Then comes frangipani (which I had to google to find out what it was). 😂 It is a tropical plant with fragrant flowers. Do I smell frangipani? Unclear, but definitely fragrant. Could be from flowers. So check on that! ✔️ Lastly, Madagascar vanilla is described. And yes, check on that too! ✔️ Armani’s Power of you is a truly fantastic scent! 🙌 I, who usually like light, floral perfumes/scents, love this one, even though it’s not only floral. The fruity note is the most prominent. But it is light, soft, and "round" in scent. And it suits both day and evening. Yes, as I said: absolutely wonderful! ☺️🥰 10 out of 10!!! #LYKOINFLUTESTER #ARMANI1 product in post 10 out of 10 (or at least 5 out of 5)! 🥳🤩🥰 Lina

I've had a long period of almost no activity here on the Lyko community. Long story short: things happened in life, and family comes first. But hopefully there is time & energy to be more active here now. ✊ I got two lovely perfumes to test as an influencer this time. And I’m probably ready to post a review on one of them already tomorrow. I also want to "give a shoutout" to Essence brow powder, which I bought a while ago. Not only is it budget-friendly, it’s honestly the best brow product I’ve ever had! 🙌🥰3 products in the look New influencer testing assignments! 🙌- The post was made 2 monthsRating: 1 out of 5Verifierad testare
Unfortunately not so good…
I thought it was really fun to try Cool Derma. I had seen the brand but never tried anything at all. But unfortunately, the face mask was not good. I have normal to dry skin. I am 47 years old and have quite a few signs of aging. But that’s not the focus in this case. But wrinkles do become more prominent if the skin is dry. Cool Derma promises "quite a lot" as properties in their face mask. But the result is missing. The packaging is handy though! Tube with flip-top lid is always easy to handle. I usually apply face masks with a spatula. But the formula/consistency of the face mask is so very loose that it doesn’t work. It slips off the spatula and ends up in the sink instead. The mask contains oats as described. And that’s also what it smells like. It doesn’t bother me much that it doesn’t smell like perfume or flowers or anything. The oat scent makes it feel a bit healthy/organic. But it actually doesn’t do anything for my skin. Not at all. And for nearly 500 SEK, you’d think it should deliver. So unfortunately, Cool Derma’s face mask was not a "perfect match" for my skin. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #COOLDERMA1 product in post Unfortunately not so good…83 views- The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Nice, but a bit basic.
Eye cream is sometimes debated. Is it necessary or not? Some claim that you can just as well use your regular face cream. However, I always use eye cream. I’m one of those who firmly believe that eye cream was invented for a reason. 😅 So how does Cool Derma’s eye cream compare to other eye creams I’ve had? Appearance-wise, I really have nothing to say about it. It’s a bit unremarkable. I have normal to dry skin. I find that I need to use a bit more of Cool Derma’s eye cream than I do with other eye creams. But Cool Derma’s eye cream comes in a generous amount. A whole 30 ml! Which is twice as much as is often found in other brands’ eye creams. I experience no irritation on the skin. So the eye cream feels mild and gentle on the skin. The eye cream softens and moisturizes the skin, according to my needs. But as the title says, it’s quite basic. The eye cream is good and pleasant, but doesn’t really offer anything impressive. It also doesn’t come with any "unpleasant surprises." A bit pricey for not being more wow than it is. But as I said: generous amount in the tube. It lands on a rating of three stars. #lykoinflutester #coolderma1 product in post Nice, but a bit basic.113 views- The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Good, but with some less good qualities.
This time I got products from Cool Derma to test. A bit "extra fun" since I hadn't tried anything from Cool Derma before. If I understand correctly, it's a fairly new brand. ☺️ So how does this cleanser compare to other cleansers I've used? Well, Cool Derma's cleansing gel is effective. It removes all makeup. I usually don't wear a lot of makeup, just: primer, foundation, setting powder, blush, eyebrow pencil, and mascara. So there's nothing the cleansing gel doesn't dissolve. So far, so good... I don't have sensitive or problematic skin. I have normal to dry skin. And the cleanser is supposed to be adapted for normal to dry skin. And I also feel it worked well! I don't feel tight or dry afterward. But even though I don't have sensitive skin, I find the cleanser feels a bit strong on the skin. I experience a slight stinging sensation. The cleanser definitely dissolves and removes mascara. But even there (around the eyes) I experience some irritation/stinging. The packaging is handy in a tube with a flip cap and easy to dose. The packaging's look reminds me a bit of products often sold at pharmacies. The cleansing gel has a lovely scent! I find it a bit floral. ☺️🌸 When it comes to the pricing of this, I think the price is quite high. Almost 400 SEK. I have a favorite from another brand that costs 120 SEK less. It's really no problem to pay "a higher price" for a beauty product?! But then it has to justify it. Which unfortunately Cool Derma's cleansing gel does not. So all in all: good! But definitely not the best. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #COOLDERMA1 product in post Good, but with some less good qualities.97 views- The comment was made 2 monthsLina🩵 Really nice and detailed review!🖤 Have a lovely evening, dear 🖤2 likes

No, no... Not good. 🙈
The third and final product to review from the Kevin Murphy products is the shampoo. ☺️ About my hair: Thick (many hair strands), curly, a tendency to be dry, and many years ago, also colored. I usually occasionally use color-preserving shampoos. But mostly shampoos that fall under the categories of “moisture” and “hydrate.” And I actually can’t see any difference in the results on my colored hair when I use color-preserving or hydrate shampoo. And the same goes for this. I don’t see that it would give a more color-preserving result on my hair than when I use other shampoos. Now I color my roots as often as every three weeks. So maybe that’s why it doesn’t show any greater results from being color-preserving when I’m adding new color at such close intervals? 🤷🏻♀️ And then to this with my hair having a tendency to be dry (which curly hair often is)... Now this shampoo isn’t specifically tailored for dry hair, nor does it promise to be hydrating in any way. But that it makes the hair drier??!! Yes, that was exactly what my hair experienced. The hair becomes tangled, dry, and it was not good at all for my hair type. 😩 And then we come to this with the scent. 😬 The conditioner I tested in the same series had a scent that wasn’t so good. The shampoo smelled stronger. And not good at all. Like an incredibly strong men’s perfume. And unfortunately, the scent lingers in the hair for several days. So now I can be sure that color-preserving shampoos do not suit my hair, even though my hair is colored. But that my hair exclusively needs hydrating shampoos. So for me and my hair, this was in no way a hit. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #KEVINMURPHY1 product in post No, no... Good, but way too strong scent!
About my hair: Basically, I have medium brown/dark brown hair. So when I started getting “gray hair” about 15 years ago, they are quite visible compared to my dark hair. And of course, there are more and more of these gray hairs. 😩😂 So the solution to make these not visible was to dye my hair. Besides dyed hair, my hair is dry and curly. I had previously hardly any experience with Kevin Murphy's hair products, other than having tried maxi wash in mini format. I thought that the special appearance and how the bottles were designed could be a problem. But not! Even though the cap is at the bottom, it doesn't spill out uncontrollably, which I had an idea it might do. 😂 So absolutely, good and handy bottle. The conditioner has a thick and good consistency for hair like mine, which is dry & treated. However, I need to use a lot of product for it to be sufficient. But that is standard for my hair. So nothing that makes me need to use more of Kevin Murphy than other products. Unfortunately, the conditioner has no good scent. It smells way too strong. But I have also partially damaged my sense of smell due to covid-19, which makes some ingredients in products smell very chemical. So how I perceive the scent of the product does not mean that everyone else experiences the scent “equally badly”. The main property of the conditioner should be color preserving. So, I can't see that this conditioner is more color preserving than others I use. I usually use hair products that work with “hydrate”, as I have dry hair. Sometimes I buy for colored hair. So no, I see no difference. But then I dye the roots every three weeks. So the color probably never gets a chance to be “really washed out”? I usually wash my hair about 3 times/week. So, in summary: good product for my dry hair, even though the main “goal” of the conditioner is to be color preserving, and not hydrate. Unfortunately too strong scent, which makes me not see the conditioner as my first choice when I buy conditioner again. I hesitated between giving it three and four stars. But it lands on four stars. But a so-called “weak four”. 😅 #LYKOINFLUTESTER #KEVINMURPHY1 product in post Good, but way too strong scent!831 views- The user's roll: Lyko Creator.
