I'm so tempted by Lumene Nordic Beauty, after trying some of Lumene's products before this one really feels worth buying. 💙 I especially like their skincare products, they feel luxurious yet still easy to use, and several of them have become favorites of mine. I also love the whole Nordic vibe and the beautiful design of the calendar. Shine, Care, and Color
I think Urban Decay Lip Toys is a really lovely product for those who want shine, color, and care all in one. The formula feels soft and pleasant on the lips and gives a nice, glossy finish without feeling sticky or greasy. The lips feel immediately smooth and hydrated, which I really appreciate. I also like that the color is buildable, so you can choose how intense you want the look to be. It’s also a bit fun that the color adapts to the lips’ pH and becomes more personal. The application is easy, and the product feels luxurious and easy to use. The only thing that kept me from falling completely for the product was the color I tested. I didn’t like that particular shade on me very much, but I actually think I would have loved the product in another color. With a shade that suits me better, this could definitely have become a favorite! Long-lasting result.
Good mascara but nothing that stands out. It gives the lashes a nice separate lift and keeps them stable all day without losing shape. The lashes become nicely separated and defined, and I really like the brush head which is slim and easy to work with. It also reaches the smallest lashes and makes application easy. The only downside is that the formula dries quite quickly, which made it difficult to build up multiple layers and get the volume I wanted. I therefore found the result to be more focused on length and separation than fullness. Overall, it’s a good mascara if you like naturally defined, long-lasting lashes, but I would have liked it to give a bit more volume. Good hold and easy to use.
*I received this product as a test pilot for Dashl. It is easy to apply and smooth to shape the brows, and it provides good hold that lasts! However, the finish is what I like least. On my brows, the result is quite shiny and glossy, which makes the brows not look as natural as I had hoped. I prefer a more matte or at least more natural finish. I still think the product is worth trying if you like a sleeker and glossier brow look and if you really need to set your brows, but for me, the result is a bit too shiny. I am really impressed with this mascara! It immediately gives nice volume and length while keeping the lashes separated and beautiful. What I especially like is that it can be built up layer by layer, so you can choose whether you want a more natural look or more intense volume. Despite several layers, I don’t find it clumpy or heavy on the lashes. The formula is really nice and it doesn’t dry too quickly, which allows you to work with it for a while. It also holds up well throughout the day without smudging, and the fact that it can be washed off with just lukewarm water is really convenient :) Overall, I think this is one of the best mascaras I’ve tried. It gives exactly the combination of volume, length, and separation that I want, and I really like that you can customize the result depending on how many layers you use.
