I got the chance to try this product as #lykotestpilot along with a couple of other products from the same brand. This is my honest review and thoughts about the product When I first received the product, I was drawn to the cute appearance. It’s a cute and simple but "clean" bottle. That made me even more excited to try the product. Unfortunately, I didn’t see any noticeable difference after a few weeks of using the product. It felt good on the skin when applied, was easy to spread, and didn’t feel drying. But over a longer period, I didn’t see much difference. This product has many different properties, some of which can only be seen over several months. I used the product gradually since it has active ingredients and I have a slightly more sensitive skin type. Therefore, during the first week, I only used it twice a week in a smaller amount and gradually built up to more frequent use. This also contributed to me maybe not seeing a bigger effect yet and needing to try even more. I have acne and normal to combination skin and have struggled with acne for several years. Therefore, I am very involved in skincare and very careful and picky with the products I try. To summarize the product, I haven’t seen any noticeable difference yet, but it might be that I need to try the product more before I can fully say how good it is. I haven’t noticed that it has damaged my skin at least, which is positive. Not sure about my acne-prone skin
I got the chance to try this as #lykotestpilot had no real expectations but was still excited to try new skincare hoping to find something that suits my acne-prone skin, but unfortunately that was not the case. The bottle is very nice and luxurious which strongly attracted me to want to test the product. However, for its price, it feels like the money goes more into the packaging than the product. I didn’t notice any significant improvement after using the product. What I did notice, however, was that it gave me lots of small pimples. It made me so disappointed that it didn’t work on my skin. For that reason, I also feel like I didn’t test it as much as I actually needed to. Since it gave me pimples, I used it less and went back to my usual skincare routine instead to strengthen my skin barrier and avoid more pimples. I only tested this together with their cleanser, which also gave me pimples. The product smells nice and felt good on the skin at first. The skin felt clean and refreshed. I have dry/normal skin that can get oily after a full day. I have also had acne problems for several years and am very invested in finding good skincare for my acne-prone skin. So I was disappointed that this didn’t become a new favorite. The conclusion I’ve come to is that if you have more sensitive acne-prone skin, this product might not be for you. I was assigned to test this product & here is my opinion: First impression: Like the design & that there is a small spatula to take the product with for hygiene reasons. The scent is pleasant & I think there is a lot of product in it. Like the packaging Background info about my skin: Dry, sensitive, pimples that come & go, some old scars & pores My opinion: First time I try a "balm" & I am positively surprised. When you take the product on the spatula & put it on your face, it’s almost like a mask because the product itself is thick in consistency, which I like. It’s easy to blend out with water & cleanse with. Very smooth & light on the skin. However, I feel like I need to go in twice to completely remove makeup but that doesn’t bother me. Got the task to test this product & here is my opinion: Background info about my skin: Sensitive, dry, pimples that come & go, some acne, large pores First impression: The packaging is very nice & sleek. The color is magical but the scent wasn’t something I liked at first. Already at first use I liked it. My opinion: I like this product. I don’t have an advanced skincare routine so I was a bit afraid my skin wouldn’t like it. Already at first use it absorbed quickly into the skin & felt immediately hydrated & calm. The scent is not a favorite but I’ve gotten used to it & think it’s nicer now haha. Like that it’s not a pump but you pour the content into your hand, much more hygienic. Also saw on their site that you can use it as a “sheet mask” which I haven’t tried yet but definitely think it would work well for my skin. Why doesn’t it get 5/5 stars then? Partly because of the price.. I’m a budget girl even though I of course appreciate a bit more luxurious products. As a #lykotestpilot, I got to test this product together with PDRN & Retinol Shot Ampoule and Hyal Reyouth Melting Foaming Balm from #drceuracle. I have combination skin, and I usually use other products in my routine, but for this test, I set them aside. I have used it for almost three weeks in my evening routine. The packaging is very nice, it comes in a luxury glass bottle, and the product is very aesthetically pleasing. It is a two-phase liquid with a light green and a dark green shade, and when you use it, you shake it, and then they mix into a beautiful color. It has a runny formula and a faint scent of matcha, but it is not disturbing. Immediately after application, the skin feels calm and moisturized, and it gets a nice glow. I am very pleased with the initial results but later started to get breakouts. As a #lykotestpilot, I had the chance to test three products from #drceuracle, and I have used them for almost three weeks. I have combination skin and use active ingredients in my skincare routine daily. Since I already use retinol regularly, I chose to pause my usual serum during the test period to give this product a fair chance. My first impression was very positive – the packaging is really cute! The product comes in a small shimmering bottle with a dropper that feels both luxurious and appealing. The PDRN & Retinol Shot Ampoule contains the much-talked-about ingredient “salmon DNA” (PDRN), which has become a big trend in skincare, so I was really curious to try it. The formula is light and absorbs quickly into the skin. The scent is a bit special and not quite to my taste, but it disappears quickly after application. You can feel the product working, as it gives a slight tingling sensation on the skin. When I compare the results, however, I have to say that I prefer my usual retinol serum. It seems to have a stronger effect, and I find that my skin gets a better texture and looks more even and smooth. During the test period, I also got some breakouts. At the same time, I also used the Jeju Matcha Tea Essence from the same brand, so it’s hard to determine which of the products possibly caused the reaction, or if it was the combination of them. Although I really appreciated the product’s aesthetics and felt that it had some effect, it didn’t become an immediate favorite for me. Good product but not for acne-sensitive skin
When I received the product from #lykotestpilot, I actually had no expectations; it’s the first time I’m trying something from #drceuracle. But when I opened the product, I was immediately excited to try it! My first reaction was that I thought the packaging was simple and convenient, there was no screw cap which was nice, and it came with a small scoop so you don’t have to dig into the product with your fingers. At first use, I loved the product! It melted away all dirt and thoroughly cleansed the skin. Afterwards, the skin felt moisturized and soft, not tight, which I usually have problems with using my regular daily cleanser. But the next morning I woke up with lots of fresh small pimples. I have used the product both together with other products from the brand and also alone with my normal routine that helps me with my acne. But both times I woke up with new fresh pimples. I was really so excited because the product was so good at cleansing the face, but so unfortunate that it gave me pimples. I have combination acne-prone skin; some days my skin is normal, other days dry, and sometimes oily in the T-zone or the whole face. I would say I’m mostly dry and get oilier towards the end of the day. I have had acne problems for several years and would say I have somewhat sensitive skin. I’m very into skincare and like to try new skincare to find the perfect products for my skin. But I have now stuck to one routine for a few months that I think works for me and doesn’t give me acne. The conclusion after trying this product for a few weeks is that the cleansing balm works really well to remove makeup but doesn’t work for my acne skin. The mask gets a strong 3. - clear instructions that are easy to follow - the bottom part doesn't fit me, I had to cut open the hole for the mouth to be able to breathe. Tried it both ways. I think the hole is in the middle and my chin is definitely bigger than the area above the lip and under the nose. - the mask didn't come together, and even when I took it off I had to remove the parts separately. For reference, I have combination, mostly oily skin! The balm melts nicely on the skin and effectively dissolves makeup, sunscreen, and other products that need to be washed off in the evening. I now use this as step 1 in my evening routine, but always follow up with a water-based cleanser after a product like this!
