I started with Estée Lauder primer – it makes the skin smooth and helps the makeup stay better throughout the day🔥(I have the old packaging) Then I used Maybelline New York Honey 04 as both foundation and concealer – it provides just the right coverage and quickly evens out the skin.🤩 After that, I set everything with LUMENE Corrector Powder No. 1 – a light powder that mattifies and helps the base last longer.✨ I also tried got2b Brow Gel – excuse me?? It really keeps the brows in place ?!?! I didn’t think it would be that good?!?! It’s definitely a new favorite🙌🏼 As the last step, I used Hickap bronzer in the shade Champagne – it gives a nice, warm glow and a bit of a sun-kissed feel.☀️ I also use essence lip oil. A very nice brand. So I thought I’d be rude and mostly focus on the negative bits of the products. If they have any.. 🫠 Their micro foliant is one of the best-selling in the world - it’s claimed.. Whether that’s true, I don’t know, but it’s really good. It’s the reason I’ve now tried a few more products from them. The micro foliant is effective and leaves your skin not just glowing but also soft like baby skin. You get the urge to caress your cheeks, and the thought quickly becomes that you wish you had at least one equally good product that gave the same effect to your whole body. Night restore, on the other hand. Here it’s not the product itself but the pipette. It sucks up the product well, but it’s hard to get it out again. You’re only supposed to have a single drop at a time, but it’s a bit tricky to get the drops out. A slightly oily consistency of the product. The positive is that you won’t "waste" it. Not a product where you accidentally get way too much and don’t know where to put the overflow. The scent of the skin recovery product doesn’t appeal to me. I think it’s some kind of floral scent. I find it a bit too sharp and it reminds me more of hocus pocus creams than a day cream. That said, I’m not here to complain about the products’ function. This is truly a big favorite! I've been using it for several years and always come back to it. It feels incredibly lovely on the skin, makes it soft and really hydrated without feeling heavy or clogging the pores. I also have slightly dry acne-prone skin, was initially worried that it would make my pores worse, but on the contrary, my skin has become smoother and better since I started using it. Tips tips tips if you're looking for a new exfoliator! I've been using this for about 2 months now and it's fantastic! It may not look like much, but it gets the job done. I usually take some powder in my palm and a few drops of water to then massage the product into my hands until all the little grains are completely gone. Then I massage it into my face and rinse it off. My skin feels brand new afterwards!! I also like that you can use it often, I use it about 3 times a week, which my skin has appreciated. This is the first exfoliator that I find actually does its job without damaging the skin barrier! Good but not for daily use
I have been testing this product for almost a month now. For reference, I have a dry skin type. This enzyme powder has been a bestseller for a long time. The powder itself is mixed with a little water to form a smooth paste that is then massaged into the skin after cleansing. It is supposed to remove dead skin cells and provide glow through a combination of chemical and mechanical exfoliation. My skin feels very soft afterwards but a bit tight. I also experience that subsequent skincare can sting a little. It says that this can be used daily. Please do not do that if you don’t want to ruin your skin barrier, 2-3 times a week is plenty for most. Overall a good exfoliation if you want more mechanical or a combo with chemical exfoliation. Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF50 I have been testing this product for almost a month now. As a reference, I have a dry skin type. This is a day cream with SPF 50. SPF is a bonus but does not replace the use of sun protection. The cream comes in a pump bottle, which I find convenient as it reduces mess and simplifies dispensing. The cream has a pleasant scent but a slight scent of sun protection. It’s not overwhelming, but you can still feel that scent is there. The cream itself blends easily into the skin and moisturizes well. The finish is on the glossier side but less noticeable when fully absorbed. It might be a bit too rich for oilier skin types. Lovely cleansing
I have been testing this cleanser for almost a month now. As a reference, I have dry skin. I have tried many cleansers over the years and have rarely had a strong opinion about a cleansing product. But now I do! I am obsessed with this cleanser! It meets almost all my requirements for a good cleanser except for one. Good but expensive. The question remains if it's effective?
I have been testing this serum for just over a month. As a reference, my skin type is dry and I have fine lines on my face. This is supposed to be a high-tech and innovative serum with plant extracts, fermented ingredients, and peptides. The serum comes in a bottle with a click pipette. The design is absolutely necessary as the serum is very viscous. But despite the design, it can still sometimes be difficult to get product into the pipette. The serum is, besides the consistency, somewhat oily, which makes it ideal for dry and mature skin. It feels wonderful to apply this as you can immediately feel how soft the skin becomes. I am unsure if very oily skin would like this feeling. There is a faint scent that is pleasant, but if you dislike scent in your product, you should look for something else. In terms of results, I haven't seen any miraculous changes in my skin, but the usage time has also been short. The price range is definitely higher, and I am torn on whether it is justified. I got this product to test. I have been using it for a while now and can give my honest opinion on it. Dermalogica's products are new to me, but I have heard a lot of good things about them, so I was looking forward to testing these products. I have combination skin and in the winter it is surface dry. I start by cleansing my face with Dermalogica's Magnetic Afterglow Cleanser and then I still use this Daily Microfoliant scrub. At first, I was unsure if I could use it every day, but I decided to give it a try, and it has worked really well for me. The scrub is gentle, and that's why I dare to use it daily, but only in the evenings. It is also easy to use. You just take a teaspoon of powder on a wet hand and then rub your hands together to get the right consistency. After that, massage it into your face for 1 minute and rinse it off. It leaves the skin wonderfully soft and fresh. One star off because it is expensive. I have been using this powder for several months and am very satisfied with it. I prefer to use it in the shower after cleansing my skin normally. Then I take the powder directly into a damp hand, gently press my hands together before applying it to my face. It’s an art to get the right consistency at first, but it becomes completely natural over time. This way, the grains still remain a little present, not completely gone, which is how I like it. You can also massage a bit more in your hands if you don’t want that. You need very little at a time, so you have to pour the product out carefully to avoid wasting it. I apply the scrub for about a minute before rinsing, and then my skin is silky soft. I focus on the T-zone and notice a big effect there when I use it regularly. The skin becomes completely smooth, not tight, dead skin is gone, and you get a nice glow. A bit pricey, but it’s worth it. Since I use other active ingredients in my skincare routine, I stick to 2-3 times a week, and that’s perfect for me. The scrub is very mild and can basically be used daily even by those with sensitive skin. It also works well if you have discoloration from previous pimples on your face, I find that it has a brightening effect after about 1-2 weeks of regular use. If you like Sensai's silk purifying powder, you will also like this one.
