I use the oil from Aco as a makeup remover, especially for eye makeup right now. It works very well even on waterproof makeup. Then I do a double cleanse with #smuuti and #dermalogica and then a toner from #aco. I follow up with my favorite essence from #drceuracle, which I, for the observant, also use around the eyes kind of like how people used to put cucumber slices. This is after I had an absurd reaction to Lyko’s micellar water that made me intolerant to any of the products I used around my eyes, but this one has worked and calmed me down. So now I just haven’t found anything else yet. I tend to want to finish things up. Maybe I’ll use some Cosrx going forward since I just bought some of their products. I’ve also used a bit of #eyepatches #ögonmasker sometimes. I’m currently using Lumene’s lash serum, read that someone said it didn’t sting like others when it gets in the eyes... that’s not true. This one stings too and the results are pretty much nothing, just like with others I’ve tried, but you have to use it twice a day all the time, if you forget once it’s over. So I don’t know why I even try. Usually, I don’t use any serum, just this ampoule or another, or both... but both are also from Dr.Ceuracle. Sometimes I also use a clay mask from them. But that’s of course after the toner. I finish with a day or night cream. Right now it’s the day cream from Smuuti shown from the morning routine. I also use the lip mask from Mario Badescu but honestly, can someone tell me what makes it a #lipmask? I honestly don’t get it. It’s a bit sticky and it’s hard to get a lip pencil on the lips afterwards because it tends to slide off. Otherwise, I don’t feel it does much. If I don’t eat anything, it keeps the lips sticky longer than other products but I don’t feel my lips absorb the product, more that it just sits on top. I have used Dermalogica Phyto Nature E2 100 ml daily, both morning and evening, as recommended on the packaging. I have normal skin with few fine lines from before, and have tested the product for a month as part of my skincare routine. First, I want to highlight the packaging. The product comes in a heavy glass bottle that gives a very exclusive and luxurious impression. The product itself has a light texture that absorbs quickly into the skin without feeling sticky. It contains a bit of fragrance, but I found it mild and pleasant. For me, it was never too strong or bothersome. Regarding the results, I have definitely noticed an improvement in my skin. It has become more hydrated, gained a nicer glow, and feels both firmer and more “bouncy.” The skin also appears smoother and more even than before. I think the fine lines I have on my face have become less visible, but since I had quite few fine lines to begin with, it’s hard to say how big the difference actually is after this test period. I believe this is a product that can give even better results with longer use. I also used the product on my neck, where I have a few more fine lines than on my face. There, I actually noticed a clearer improvement in a shorter time. The skin on my neck felt firmer, smoother, and more hydrated, and the lines became less prominent. This was probably where I saw the most visible results. I have tested the Dermalogica Pro-Collagen Banking Water Cream for one month, almost every day. My first impression was very positive; the cream provides plenty of moisture and has a light, water-based gel consistency that absorbs quickly into the skin without feeling heavy or sticky. I have normal skin with very rare breakouts, and this cream worked very well for my skin. It gave a nice, fresh glow and also worked excellently as a base under makeup. The makeup applied nicely and stayed looking good throughout the day. I should also say that it gave the skin a plump finish and contains lots of good ingredients that are supposed to help reduce fine lines, provide good moisture to the skin, and support the skin barrier. Regarding the cream itself, I don’t think it stands out much from other water-based moisturizers on the market. It contains some fragrance, which some people might be sensitive to, but I found the scent mild and pleasant and had no reactions. The only downside for me is that since the cream is so light and water-based, I feel the moisture doesn’t last all day. I therefore had to apply more moisture later in the day than I usually do with richer creams. I have used Dermalogica Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF50 daily for four weeks as the last step in my skincare routine. I have normal skin, and for me, this has worked very well both as a day cream and sun protection. The cream has a light and pleasant texture that absorbs quickly into the skin while providing plenty of moisture. The skin feels soft throughout the day, and I find that the moisture lasts a long time without needing to reapply. It also leaves a nice glow that makes the skin look fresh and healthy. I use sunscreen every single day, regardless of the season, so it’s very convenient to have high sun protection in the day cream. The cream has a bit more fragrance than the other Dermalogica products I’ve tested. The scent is still pleasant and not overwhelming, but if you are very sensitive to perfume, it might be worth noting. I found that the product did not clog my pores or cause breakouts. For my normal skin, it worked excellently, but I think it might feel a bit rich or oily for people with very oily skin. The product promises, among other things, to increase skin firmness, elasticity, and moisture levels and reduce the visibility of fine lines after eight weeks of use. I used the product for four weeks, so the test period was shorter than the manufacturer recommends to see full effect. Still, I noticed that my fine lines became less visible, especially when I used this together with Dermalogica Phyto Nature E2, which I also tested. The two products seem to complement each other well and gave my skin a smoother, more even, and more hydrated appearance. I don’t have pigmentation spots, so I can’t comment on the effect on uneven pigmentation. Exciting properties, but my face rejected it immediately
This one is incredibly concentrated and you don’t need much product at all to cover the entire face. Which is a big plus! I absolutely understand the idea that it should exfoliate and renew cells to give the skin a new glow, but unfortunately my skin couldn’t handle it. Every time I applied it, I got an immediate tight, almost burning sensation in my face and the skin turned completely red. I tried to tough it out and reduce usage to just a few times a week, but my skin barrier reacted negatively every time. It gets three stars because the formula feels very advanced and high quality, and it probably works wonders for someone else. But if you know you have sensitive skin and easily react to exfoliation, I’d probably skip this one. Nice gel consistency that unfortunately triggered my skin
This felt so nice at first! I really appreciate the gel consistency, it felt super fresh, cooled pleasantly on the skin, and gave a really nice glow the first few days! At first, I thought I had finally found the perfect product. But then came the setback… After less than a week, my face started to flare up and I got lots of small, itchy irritation spots especially on my forehead, which took quite a long time and a lot of moisture to get rid of after I stopped using it. It’s so frustrating when a product feels so good at first but then just irritates the skin barrier after a while. I got the opportunity to test this product and review it. And what I’ve experienced so far with this product is the following: A cooling and light but moisturizing cream due to its light formula. I find it very pleasant to apply, it really feels "watery" and cooling. I received this just in time for a sun holiday. And it’s perfect to apply after a day at the beach to hydrate and cool down the skin. However, I think it’s not quite as moisturizing as I had hoped or as I generally prefer in creams. But for having the light consistency it has, it is moisturizing. On the other hand, it contains essential oils, just like the other products I got to test from Dermalogica. The scent is mild and not overwhelming. But unfortunately, I generally don’t think it belongs in facial products. This is because my skin has struggled with perioral dermatitis before, and essential oils and fragrance can easily trigger it.
