Fun but tricky packaging
I have had the chance to try some products from no7, and one of the products is this cleanser. But first about my skin: I would say I have a normal skin type. It can get a bit drier in winter and a bit oilier in summer, but overall normal. Sometimes I get a few small pimples. My first reaction to the product was that it has a fun and unique packaging! You twist the packaging and the product is "shaved" off. Fun! I thought, but it turned out to be tricky 😂 It’s quite hard to twist open and you definitely need to use some force. If you don’t have strong hands, this is definitely not a product for you. If your hands are a bit wet, it’s actually impossible. But about the balm itself! It’s very soft and melts easily on the skin, which is very positive. Works great to use on skin without makeup, BUT I don’t think it’s so good at removing makeup. Works with foundation etc., but I find it bad at removing mascara and eyebrow gel, you have to struggle a bit with that which I don’t want. If I have makeup on, I also have to use a damp cloth to remove mascara etc., and afterwards I use another cleanser. After using the product, the skin feels good! Not dry at all, which is a big plus because many cleansers can do that. So to sum up: A fun idea for the packaging, but quite tricky to use. It’s okay at cleansing, but doesn’t remove makeup that easily. I would say it’s a good cleanser for a bare face or just light makeup, less good with eye makeup. A totally okay product, but not a favorite. #lykoinflutester #no71 product in post Fun but tricky packaging84 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. The post was made 1 dayRating: 4 out of 5
Good first step in the morning
I have had the chance to try some products from no7, and one of the products is these soothing pads. But first about my skin: I would say I have a normal skin type. It can get a bit drier in winter and a bit oilier in summer, but overall normal. Sometimes I get a few small pimples. I tend to think that this type of skincare products is a bit "unnecessary" and not something I usually reach for; I prefer a regular toner or serum with the same ingredients! Easier to bring along if you’re traveling too. When it comes to pre-made pads, they often take up too much space in my bathroom cabinet and therefore end up in a strange place and get forgotten 😅 But about the product: I like that it comes with tweezers which makes it more hygienic, and it has a good lid that is easy to open and close but keeps the pads moisturized. The pads themselves are perfectly moisturized in my opinion! They are moist enough and large enough to cover the whole face and neck, but they are not so wet that the product drips. It’s easy to apply, and the skin feels moisturized and nice… but I don’t notice much more difference than that (yet). I usually don’t wash my face in the morning, so I have preferred to use these in the morning as a first step as a light "cleanse" and to soothe the skin. I like that they are pre-made pads because I usually prefer to use my regular toner with a pad in the morning anyway, as it feels like it removes some "dirt" from the face when you don’t wash it. Since they themselves recommend using it 2-3 times a week, I have done that, and on the other days just used my regular toner. So to sum up: my first thought was that it feels unnecessary, but I have liked it more than I thought! Especially in the morning as a first step. They moisturize and the skin feels fresh but I don’t notice more than that. I am definitely more curious about the product and excited to see if you notice more difference after a longer time! #lykoinflutester #no71 product in post Good first step in the morning81 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Moisturizing but confusing!
I've had the chance to try some products from no7, and one of the products is this moisture milk, which is a moisturizing dream! But first about my skin: I would say I have a normal skin type. It can get a bit drier in winter and a bit oilier in summer, but overall normal. Sometimes I get a few small pimples. About the product! My first thought was that I didn’t understand at all what type of product it was. My first thought was a toner or essence, but on the packaging it says it’s step 4 moisture, and unfortunately I don’t think this is enough as a day cream. Because I was confused, I’ve tried using it in different ways: as a toner, as an essence, as a day cream, and after reading a comment here from a review that it should be used after serum to lock in moisture, I finally did that BUT also used a day cream afterwards. Why I did that is because I think the product dries a bit sticky on the skin and I don’t like that feeling, it doesn’t feel like you’re sufficiently moisturized then. Now I actually vary a bit how I use it sometimes as an essence (between toner and serum) and sometimes between serum and day cream. I think it works fine both ways! Otherwise, this product has a milky consistency that is thicker than a toner but lighter than a day cream. It’s very moisturizing and gives an incredibly nice glow! As I said, I think it feels a bit sticky on the skin when it dries in, which can be good before makeup! It’s very easy to work with and works well with my regular skincare routine. So to summarize: a super nice product that moisturizes and leaves a nice and natural glow. However, confusing about which step to use it in. I will definitely continue to use the product and it’s worth trying! #lykoinflutester #no71 product in post Moisturizing but confusing!94 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Wishing for more moisture
I have had the honor of testing shampoo, conditioner, and some styling products from Björn Axén's volume series. To start with, I will describe my hair. I would say I have typical Scandinavian hair. It is quite thin but with a lot of hair strands and very flat. If I don't style my hair or use any special products, it is very flat and without volume. As for the product, I think the bottle is very pretty, and I like the cap, which is very easy to handle in the shower with wet hands. I also think it smells good, a bit unisex in scent. The first thing I reacted to was that it said to use the conditioner on both lengths and the scalp; for me, who very easily gets an oily scalp, conditioner on the scalp is a big no-no!! So I stuck to using the product only on the lengths. The product is thicker in consistency and is easy to distribute in the hair. After washing, the hair is easy to comb through, which I think is important with a conditioner! However, I don't think the product provides much moisture. My hair doesn't get dry from the product, but I wish for more moisture in a conditioner and preferably a little extra shine. The hair does look a bit fuller, so it does provide some form of volume, even if it's not overly much. So to summarize: the product is totally okay. The hair is easy to detangle but doesn't provide much moisture, which I wish for in a conditioner. It does what it should but nothing extra. #lykoinflutester #björnaxen1 product in post Wishing for more moisture112 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. The post was made 1 monthRating: 4 out of 5
Does what it’s supposed to!
I’ve had the honor of testing shampoo, conditioner, and some styling products from Björn Axén’s volume series. To start with, I’ll describe my hair. I would say I have typical Scandinavian hair. It’s quite thin but with a lot of hair strands and very flat. If I don’t style my hair or use any special products, it’s very flat and without volume. As for the product, I think the bottle is very nice, and I like the cap, which is very easy to handle in the shower with wet hands. I also think it smells good, a bit unisex in scent. When I wash my hair, I always wash it twice, so I’ve done that with this shampoo as well. I think the product lathers up well and I also find it quite economical, you don’t need much product to get your hair clean! After the shower, my hair feels clean and fresh, but I don’t experience much volume just using shampoo and conditioner without any other styling products. However, the hair looks a bit fuller, so it does something even if it’s not super volume. But together with other volume styling products, like those from the same series, the hair gets nice volume! Besides volume, these products are also supposed to moisturize, I don’t find that my hair gets dry with these products, but it’s not super moisturized either. My hair can get greasy quite quickly, with a good shampoo my hair stays clean for about 2 days, and I experience about the same with this shampoo. So for me, it’s good! Very rarely do I test shampoos that keep my hair cleaner longer than this. So to summarize: I think the shampoo is good! It cleans and does what it’s supposed to, but it doesn’t get a full score as I don’t experience much volume unless I also use volume styling products. The picture of me shows how nice volume you can get with the help of shampoo + styling products! #lykoinflutester #björnaxen1 product in post Does what it’s supposed to!76 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Good for styling
A moisturizing cream that gives volume to the hair, everything you want in a hair product! This product is perfect for styling. But first to my hair: I would say it is typically Scandinavian. It is extremely flat and thin. I have a lot of hair strands but they are very thin, so not much happens with my hair if I don't style it. So when I style my hair, there is a lot of focus on volume so my hair looks fuller. To the product! This is a cream that claims to moisturize, provide volume and hold, and it also has heat protection. My first reaction was that the product smells incredibly good! A very fresh scent. My second thought was that it feels like you need to use quite a bit of product since this needs to be focused on the lengths, and since I have long hair, it took quite a bit of product. I still want to be careful to make sure the hair is covered since I wanted to test the heat protection in the product as well (so not using any other heat protection besides this product). The product itself is easy to apply and I finished by brushing through the hair so that the product would be distributed evenly (which is also recommended to do). When applying the product to towel-dried hair, the product feels very moisturizing, like a serum for the hair. But I felt that as soon as you started blow-drying the hair, you began to feel that the hair becomes a bit coarse and doesn't feel as moisturizing. My first reaction was that I didn't like it, BUT it is after all a styling product and if the hair has a bit of hold and is coarser, the styling lasts longer. So with a bit more thought, that feeling didn't bother me anymore. So with this in mind, this is not a product I would use after every wash unless I planned to style my hair, like curling it, which is usually my go-to styling. So to the result, you absolutely get more volume! The hair feels fuller and is easy to "puff" the hair with just your fingers to get the volume. I also think the hair feels better to curl when you have this product in, I think the curls hold longer than they usually do! To summarize: a good product for styling! Provides hold and volume for long-lasting styled hair. Not a product I would use after every wash unless I was going to curl it, as the hair feels a bit coarse after being blow-dried. #lykoinflutester #björnaxen1 product in post Good for styling395 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Natural Volume
This thickening spray is supposed to give volume without weighing the hair down and make the hair feel soft and full. Sounds like a dream! But first to my hair: I would say it’s typically Scandinavian. It’s extremely flat and thin. I have a lot of hair strands but they are very thin, so not much happens with my hair if I don’t style it. So when I style my hair, there’s a lot of focus on volume so my hair looks fuller. To the product: it’s a spray that can be used throughout the hair but should be focused on the roots for extra volume. It works both in dry hair and in towel-dried hair and then activated by blow-drying (which is recommended). I’ve used it both ways but prefer to have it in towel-dried hair and then blow-dry it, as you don’t notice the product at all. I find that when I’ve used it in dry hair, you notice the product more as it’s so wet, feels like the hair is weighed down a bit then. The product has a good spray and distributes the product evenly and nicely in the hair. When you’ve used the product and then blow-dried the hair, you don’t notice the product at all. Leaves no residue, feels not sticky and doesn’t weigh the hair down. The hair actually feels very soft and lovely! So the result, I would say it gives natural volume. There’s no direct WOW effect with a lot of volume, but it looks more naturally full. When you brush the hair after having the product in, I think the hair becomes quite flat again, but it can be fluffed up by tousling a bit with your fingers. I would say this product is perfect to use after every wash before blow-drying the hair! Looks natural and doesn’t feel like anything. But if you’re looking for more extreme volume and for more styling, then this might not be the right product. So to summarize: natural volume for an everyday hairstyle. Not a lot of result if you’re looking for a lot of volume. The hair feels soft and you don’t feel any product residue in the hair at all as long as you blow-dry the hair after use. #lykoinflutester #björnaxen1 product in post Natural Volume216 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Incredible!
I've been looking forward to trying this perfume so much!! I think the notes sound incredible and something I would really like, and I was so right! First and foremost, I have to say that the bottle is so beautiful and sleek. I love the red color and the golden details, I think it exudes luxury and femininity. This perfume is supposed to be a gourmand scent that is supposed to smell like passion fruit and vanilla, and they have really succeeded with these notes! The first thing you smell is a distinct passion fruit scent, it is both sweet but still a bit tangy. Once it settles a bit, you can feel a base of vanilla that really marries well with the passion fruit. This is truly a unique scent that I've never felt before, which is fun! I've gotten a bit tired of all these vanilla scents, but in this perfume, the vanilla was just right! I think the perfume is suitable for both daytime and evening, and I really believe this will be a favorite of mine this summer! It feels fruity and soft while also luxurious and feminine. I really think this perfume is a home run, it's fun to see something new on the market! For me, the perfume has also lasted a long time, I've been able to wear it all day and received comments about smelling good in the evening. A big plus when the perfume still costs a bit! If you're looking for a scent that is fruity, soft but still in a slightly sexy way, then this is really a scent for you! #lykoinflutester #giorgioarmani1 product in post Incredible!626 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Pretty glow
I have had the honor of testing this highlighter from L’Oréal that can be used in several ways - alone, under makeup, or as a final highlighter on the makeup. I would say my skin is normal. It can have periods in the winter where my skin gets a bit drier or it gets a bit oilier in the summer. But otherwise, I would say it’s the same all the time. For the product, I like the packaging, I like that the applicator is a bit narrower so you don’t get too much product out at once, but can place the product exactly where you want it. You also get a lot of product for the money, which means it will last a long time! It gives a nice glow that looks natural, no glitter or anything in it that makes it too much. Unfortunately, the color was too dark for me now in the winter, so I haven’t been able to use it alone or on top of makeup, but I think I will be able to do that in the summer and that I will really like having it by itself to get a fresh glow. So now that I am a bit paler, I have used it under my foundation to get a natural glow, and I have really liked it! It peeks through a little under your foundation and leaves a light glow that looks very natural. I then apply the product to the areas I want to highlight, like the nose, cheekbones, and a little above the eyebrows. So to summarize: a very nice and natural highlighter. Very nice to have under makeup during the winter months and I think it will be nice to have alone in the summer when I have a bit more color. A nice glowy product simply ✨ #lykoinflutester #lorealparis1 product in post Pretty glow1015 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. The post was made 2 monthsRating: 5 out of 5
So moisturizing!
I had the honor of testing this primer from Nyx professional makeup. It is a moisturizing and plumping primer + serum. I would say my skin is normal. I can have periods where I get a bit drier in the winter and a bit oilier in the summer, but for the most part, my skin is the same all the time. The first impression is that I like the packaging. I like that you can see how much is left and love the pump that makes it easy to get the right amount of product out! The product itself feels light and really makes the skin feel moisturized! I really understand that it is primer + serum because it feels like a moisturizing serum. After using the product, you feel moisturized and your skin feels firmer and nicer. The skin is left a little tacky, which makes the foundation stick nicely. I have tested this primer with several different foundations, and it has worked with all of them! All foundations have applied nicely, and it hasn’t crumbled with any, which is really positive. The makeup has also held up nicely all day, so the product has really done its job. So to summarize: an absolutely incredible primer! It moisturizes and makes the makeup apply nicely and last all day. This has truly become a new favorite, full score!! 😍 #lykoinflutester #nyxprofessionalmakeup1 product in post So moisturizing!340 views
