WOW
I have had the chance to try some products from Aco, and one of those products is this facial sunscreen! To start, I’ll describe my skin. I would say I have a normal skin type that sometimes gets a few pimples; it goes in phases of having clear skin and then some problem skin. This sunscreen is amazing!! It’s light in texture and incredibly easy to apply to the skin and leaves no residue or white cast (at least not on my light-medium skin tone). It feels like it disappears into the skin immediately, which is exactly what I want from a sunscreen. It feels very moisturizing and also leaves a nice glow without making the skin look oily. The product works well on bare skin and I have never experienced it stinging my eyes. It also sits beautifully under makeup! I’m so positively surprised because I always find that sunscreens are either too greasy, don’t work under makeup, or sting the eyes. But this one works perfectly for me. So to sum up: AMAZING! It does everything I want a facial sunscreen to do. I would also say it has a very good price. I really recommend this and will continue to use and buy it! #lykoinflutester #aco1 product in post WOW56 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. The post was made 4 daysRating: 3 out of 5
Pretty okay
I have had the chance to try some products from the Aco spotless series. One of the products is this face cream! To start, I’ll describe my skin. I would say I have a normal skin type that sometimes gets a few pimples; it goes in phases of having clear skin and then some problem skin. The cream itself feels nice when applied. I immediately feel that it’s moisturizing without being too greasy and leaves a little glow. However, I don’t think the skin feels very moisturized all day; the moisturizing feeling fades after a while. I can also feel that the product pills a bit on the skin, especially around the temples. I like the packaging; it feels hygienic and is easy to use. The product also doesn’t smell like anything, which I like for a series like this. Right when I started using these new products, I got a lot of pimples. I don’t know if it was because of these products or something else that affected it. But I kept using the products and didn’t think any miracles happened. The pimples stayed for a while, and when they disappeared, new ones appeared in new places. So it’s not a miracle cure that makes pimples disappear quickly. As I said, I don’t dare say what caused the pimples, so I don’t want to say it’s these products, but they didn’t help quickly get rid of the pimples. So to sum up: The product is pretty okay. Feels like a basic moisturizing cream but nothing special. I don’t really notice any difference that it helps with impurities and don’t think it moisturizes all day. However, it has a good price! #lykoinflutester #aco1 product in post Pretty okay47 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. The post was made 4 daysRating: 3 out of 5
Pretty okay
I have gotten to try some products from the Aco spotless series. One of the products is this serum! To start, I’ll describe my skin. I would say I have a normal skin type that sometimes can get a few pimples, it goes in phases with having clear skin and then getting some problem skin. The serum itself is quite thin and light and absorbs quickly into the skin. I think it leaves a slight light glow and feels nice on the skin. It doesn’t smell like anything and feels gentle on the skin. I also like the packaging and the pump! It dispenses just the right amount of product and feels hygienic, which is good especially for a series like this. Right when I started using these new products, I got a lot of pimples, I don’t know if it was because of these products or something else that affected it. But I kept using the products and didn’t think any miracles happened. The pimples stayed for a while and when they disappeared, new ones appeared in new places. So it’s not a miracle cure that makes pimples disappear quickly. As I said, I don’t dare to say what caused the pimples so I don’t want to say it’s these products but they didn’t help quickly to get rid of the pimples. So to sum up: a pretty okay serum! It feels nice and gentle on the skin and leaves a little nice glow. But I don’t really notice any difference on the skin. It feels good but I don’t notice much more than that. #lykoinflutester #aco1 product in post Pretty okay50 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. The post was made 4 daysRating: 3 out of 5
Mixed feelings
I have had the chance to try some products from the Aco spotless series. One of the products is this toner! To start with, I will describe my skin. I would say I have a normal skin type that sometimes can get a few pimples, it goes in phases with having clear skin and then getting some problem skin. My first reaction to this product is that it smells like alcohol, think hand sanitizer. It felt strange to put the product on my face then 😅 It says the product should be used daily morning and evening, but since this product contains exfoliating ingredients, I don’t want to use it too much and preferably not during the day when I will be exposed to the sun. So I chose to only use it in the evening and also be careful with sunscreen during the day. I applied the product on a pad and wiped it on my face. I think it has felt good on the skin, it didn’t sting, didn’t get red and I don’t think it dries out even though it exfoliates. Right when I started using these new products, I got a lot of pimples, I don’t know if it was because of these products or if it was something else that affected it. But I continued using the products and didn’t think any miracle happened. The pimples stayed for a while and when they then disappeared, new ones appeared in new places. So it’s not a miracle cure that makes pimples disappear quickly. As I said, I don’t dare say what caused the pimples so I don’t want to say it’s these products but they didn’t help quickly to get rid of the pimples anyway. So to sum up: I’m a bit torn. I think the product feels good when used but didn’t notice any direct difference. I also don’t like the smell, other products I have with roughly the same ingredients don’t smell like alcohol. A plus though is the price! So it gets an average rating from me. It’s not bad but not a new favorite either! #lykoinflutester #aco1 product in post Mixed feelings50 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. The post was made 1 monthRating: 5 out of 5
So pretty!
This product is incredibly beautiful and easy to work with! I have the color 30 Hazel, which is very warm. I was nervous at first that it might be a bit too orange, but when it blends into the face, it looks so nice and sun-kissed, fits me perfectly as I have a warm undertone but might be a bit too warm for someone with a more natural or cool undertone. The product is so easy to work with and melts so nicely into the skin. An incredible product!1 product in post So pretty!49 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Fun but tricky packaging
I have had the chance to try some products from no7, and one of the products is this cleanser. But first about my skin: I would say I have a normal skin type. It can get a bit drier in winter and a bit oilier in summer, but overall normal. Sometimes I get a few small pimples. My first reaction to the product was that it has a fun and unique packaging! You twist the packaging and the product is "shaved" off. Fun! I thought, but it turned out to be tricky 😂 It’s quite hard to twist open and you definitely need to use some force. If you don’t have strong hands, this is definitely not a product for you. If your hands are a bit wet, it’s actually impossible. But about the balm itself! It’s very soft and melts easily on the skin, which is very positive. Works great to use on skin without makeup, BUT I don’t think it’s so good at removing makeup. Works with foundation etc., but I find it bad at removing mascara and eyebrow gel, you have to struggle a bit with that which I don’t want. If I have makeup on, I also have to use a damp cloth to remove mascara etc., and afterwards I use another cleanser. After using the product, the skin feels good! Not dry at all, which is a big plus because many cleansers can do that. So to sum up: A fun idea for the packaging, but quite tricky to use. It’s okay at cleansing, but doesn’t remove makeup that easily. I would say it’s a good cleanser for a bare face or just light makeup, less good with eye makeup. A totally okay product, but not a favorite. #lykoinflutester #no71 product in post Fun but tricky packaging141 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. The post was made 2 monthsRating: 4 out of 5
Good first step in the morning
I have had the chance to try some products from no7, and one of the products is these soothing pads. But first about my skin: I would say I have a normal skin type. It can get a bit drier in winter and a bit oilier in summer, but overall normal. Sometimes I get a few small pimples. I tend to think that this type of skincare products is a bit "unnecessary" and not something I usually reach for; I prefer a regular toner or serum with the same ingredients! Easier to bring along if you’re traveling too. When it comes to pre-made pads, they often take up too much space in my bathroom cabinet and therefore end up in a strange place and get forgotten 😅 But about the product: I like that it comes with tweezers which makes it more hygienic, and it has a good lid that is easy to open and close but keeps the pads moisturized. The pads themselves are perfectly moisturized in my opinion! They are moist enough and large enough to cover the whole face and neck, but they are not so wet that the product drips. It’s easy to apply, and the skin feels moisturized and nice… but I don’t notice much more difference than that (yet). I usually don’t wash my face in the morning, so I have preferred to use these in the morning as a first step as a light "cleanse" and to soothe the skin. I like that they are pre-made pads because I usually prefer to use my regular toner with a pad in the morning anyway, as it feels like it removes some "dirt" from the face when you don’t wash it. Since they themselves recommend using it 2-3 times a week, I have done that, and on the other days just used my regular toner. So to sum up: my first thought was that it feels unnecessary, but I have liked it more than I thought! Especially in the morning as a first step. They moisturize and the skin feels fresh but I don’t notice more than that. I am definitely more curious about the product and excited to see if you notice more difference after a longer time! #lykoinflutester #no71 product in post Good first step in the morning168 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Moisturizing but confusing!
I've had the chance to try some products from no7, and one of the products is this moisture milk, which is a moisturizing dream! But first about my skin: I would say I have a normal skin type. It can get a bit drier in winter and a bit oilier in summer, but overall normal. Sometimes I get a few small pimples. About the product! My first thought was that I didn’t understand at all what type of product it was. My first thought was a toner or essence, but on the packaging it says it’s step 4 moisture, and unfortunately I don’t think this is enough as a day cream. Because I was confused, I’ve tried using it in different ways: as a toner, as an essence, as a day cream, and after reading a comment here from a review that it should be used after serum to lock in moisture, I finally did that BUT also used a day cream afterwards. Why I did that is because I think the product dries a bit sticky on the skin and I don’t like that feeling, it doesn’t feel like you’re sufficiently moisturized then. Now I actually vary a bit how I use it sometimes as an essence (between toner and serum) and sometimes between serum and day cream. I think it works fine both ways! Otherwise, this product has a milky consistency that is thicker than a toner but lighter than a day cream. It’s very moisturizing and gives an incredibly nice glow! As I said, I think it feels a bit sticky on the skin when it dries in, which can be good before makeup! It’s very easy to work with and works well with my regular skincare routine. So to summarize: a super nice product that moisturizes and leaves a nice and natural glow. However, confusing about which step to use it in. I will definitely continue to use the product and it’s worth trying! #lykoinflutester #no71 product in post Moisturizing but confusing!281 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Wishing for more moisture
I have had the honor of testing shampoo, conditioner, and some styling products from Björn Axén's volume series. To start with, I will describe my hair. I would say I have typical Scandinavian hair. It is quite thin but with a lot of hair strands and very flat. If I don't style my hair or use any special products, it is very flat and without volume. As for the product, I think the bottle is very pretty, and I like the cap, which is very easy to handle in the shower with wet hands. I also think it smells good, a bit unisex in scent. The first thing I reacted to was that it said to use the conditioner on both lengths and the scalp; for me, who very easily gets an oily scalp, conditioner on the scalp is a big no-no!! So I stuck to using the product only on the lengths. The product is thicker in consistency and is easy to distribute in the hair. After washing, the hair is easy to comb through, which I think is important with a conditioner! However, I don't think the product provides much moisture. My hair doesn't get dry from the product, but I wish for more moisture in a conditioner and preferably a little extra shine. The hair does look a bit fuller, so it does provide some form of volume, even if it's not overly much. So to summarize: the product is totally okay. The hair is easy to detangle but doesn't provide much moisture, which I wish for in a conditioner. It does what it should but nothing extra. #lykoinflutester #björnaxen1 product in post Wishing for more moisture121 views
