The best setting spray ever
I have tried many setting sprays over the years but have always gone back to this one. Of course, I was scared like many others when the collaboration with Skindinavia was ending and was afraid this product would become noticeably worse. But NOT!! Honestly, I think it’s better? The mist itself is much better, the spray distributes more evenly over the face than it did before. I also think it absorbs more now than I experienced before. This product makes my makeup last significantly longer and makes the finish look more even. Shade: Space Cowboy
A luminizer that can be used in your foundation, moisturizer, or as is. It’s supposed to be waterproof and sweat-proof, which I can definitely vouch for! Unfortunately, I find it too glittery to use directly on my face since I prefer more of a glow. At least for everyday use, it can absolutely be something I reach for when I want a more made-up look! However, I found another way to use it, which is on the décolleté and shoulders. I usually do this in the summer but felt it melts away so quickly, but this one doesn’t! Instead, it sinks into the skin nicely and doesn’t sit on the skin as a layer. What I do is mix it into my moisturizer and then apply it, which I really recommend ✨ So I really like the product, but because it’s a bit too glittery for the face, it gets a slightly lower rating. Better than the original!
No makeup routine is complete without setting spray! I've tried many setting sprays over the years, but I've tended to avoid them as they often dry out my skin. I like the fresh color of the bottle, but unfortunately the cap on the one I got is very poor. It almost falls off just by holding it upside down, so I won't be able to travel with it, which is a shame. I was surprised at how fine the mist is on this one, you get the perfect amount with each spray! I didn't find the scent overpowering, which is a plus in my book. After application, the skin feels cooled and a bit sticky when it has dried, but it wasn't something I noticed later in the day. I already have very glowing skin, but I don't think this made my skin much more glowing. If anything, I think it made the glow more even and toned down, which is nice for me! I mainly chose this version because I have combination skin, which tends to be very dry but can also get oily. When using regular setting sprays, including the original, my skin tended to flake, but with this one I had no problem. For my drier skin, it was perfect that this one was moisturizing. Not as expected
I really like the tube, you can always see how much is left, and it was super easy to get out the desired amount. The product has a white base that reveals a micro-fine pink glitter when you spread it out. The shade I had, Mirror Ball, suited my very light, Nordic skin well. Since this can be applied in thin layers and spread well, it can suit several skin tones, but you never completely get rid of the white base, so be aware of that. It's barely possible to see the glitter unless you have a direct light source close to your face, and even then it's barely visible. So this will give a very subtle, “natural” glow, hence no wow effect. For the price, I actually expected to be blown away. I also tried building it up in several layers for more effect, but then the white base became too visible. I tried using it as eyeshadow, but it didn’t work for me. I have hooded eyes, which means all makeup I use on my eyes has to dry as quickly as possible to avoid creasing. After a few hours on the eyelid, it had gathered into a white stripe in the crease, not pretty. I also tried using it as a highlighter, which also worked rather poorly. If you want to use it as a highlighter, you can use such a small amount that it’s not visible to avoid the base showing. The uses that worked best for me were the following three; Mixed with moisturizer. Directly on the body, well spread out. As a thin layer all over the face, over other products. So to summarize: As a body glow, it’s very nice and easy to use. For the face, it can give a very natural, even glow with the right application. Bronzer, highlight, and similar products aren’t really my thing, but as a #lykoinflutester you try everything, and of course you want more #urbandecay ❗️ Admit that something went wrong, I tried to find a light/neutral shade but didn’t find one among the options I got, but now I see from other users that it exists 🙈 Like the nice bottle where you have to squeeze a bit extra to get the product out, which is just the right consistency. 🌺 I find it fragrance-free - love that! Great glow!!
I never really understood the point of glow products and actually thought they weren’t for me. That’s why I was extra pleasantly surprised by this one. The product gives a beautiful glow without being too intense or glittery✨ It blends easily into the skin and works very well both with moisturizer and CC Cream. I use it together with the CC Cream from It Cosmetics, and think the combination gives a natural and fresh result✨ It’s also very versatile. I have used it as a highlighter, but also as a light shimmer on the eyelids. On days when I don’t wear makeup, I like to apply a bit of this to give the skin extra glow and life🫶🏽 The only downside is the lid!! Not very practical, and somewhat hard to get off. Are there really any better setting sprays than Urban Decay? I use the original All Nighter regularly, so I was very excited to test this glow variant. I was a bit afraid the result would be more shiny than glowing, but this really surprised me positively✨ The spray distributes evenly, the bottle has a nice design, and most importantly it keeps the makeup in place for hours. I actually used it for the first time on my wedding day, and despite blazing sun, sweat, and some tears, the makeup stayed just as nice all day long. ✨️ FINALLY TRYING THIS SPRAY! ✨️ I've been wanting to buy it myself for so long, but just never got around to it, so when I get the chance as a #Lykoinflutester to try this setting spray from #urbandecay, expectations are high. 🙈 The bottle is sleek, feels like you get quite a lot of product compared to many others. I chose the "natural" one, as I don't want to be shiny, especially not during summer. ☀️ The spray itself is really a mist, you can see how nicely distributed and even it is in the video (slow motion). 🙌🏻 🌺 The scent is very light and pleasant, so if you have trouble with scents (like me), this shouldn't be something to worry about! 🙌🏻 It says to spray at least 10 times, so I follow the advice. 📸 Tested it first on a "normal" day, no powder or touch ups and took an after photo (the light changed, not edited). I've been testing this luminizer for a while now and I'm really impressed. If you love a natural, glowing look, this product is definitely worth checking out. It gives the skin a super nice radiance that looks fresh and healthy without feeling glittery or over the top. Here I used it mixed into my moisturizer, but it's very versatile! It can be used as a highlighter, under or in foundation, and on the eyelids! No matter how I use it, it blends nicely into the skin and gives a really beautiful glowing result. The formula feels very light on the skin and not at all greasy or sticky, which I appreciate because I don't like when products feel heavy. Perfect setting spray!
I got to try Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray and I really understand why it’s so hyped. As someone who is often out all day and wants their makeup to look just as good in the evening as in the morning, I think this spray really meets the requirements! What I like most is that it keeps the makeup in place without feeling heavy or sticky. It gives a natural finish that’s neither too matte nor too shiny, which suits my skin perfectly. I have very acne-prone skin, and what I look for in a setting spray is one that helps cover my acne marks all day and doesn’t cause new breakouts. As a Lyko Testpilot, I got to test the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray, and this was a product I had heard incredibly good things about beforehand. Personally, I actually think this is a big plus! 💕 The spray comes out as a nice and light mist, not in big drops like I've experienced with some other setting sprays. Lovely as a body glow!
This highlighter has many uses, but I like it best as a glow for the body! Lovely to use on shoulders in a summer dress (or workout clothes 😂) or on sun-kissed legs (I can imagine, mine are more blue now). It's easy to control the amount from the tube, and that's a plus! I often find similar products dispense way too much, but here you can easily get just what you want 🤌🏼 It has many small glitter particles, so I didn't find it as flattering on the face. If you want a setting spray that keeps your makeup on through an overly long day at work and training, and want to avoid spending money on something that doesn’t work, this is your go-to. So.. Unsure if a setting spray is necessary? - When it comes to this one, the simple answer is YES 😊 I've been testing this for a month now. New, beautiful packaging, but the same great setting spray. The cherry on top that makes your makeup stay put all day/evening, and it withstands almost any activity. During this test period, I've used it both before and after makeup. (Previously, I only used it at the end) also works well as a primer: prepares the skin for makeup and increases longevity! I have rosacea, so my skin is quite red and irritated at times. This is very comfortable to apply, I really feel it calms the skin a bit and makes the issues with uneven skin easy to manage. Tonight is Eurovision and wow, the Nordic countries are really strong this year after all! Not a bad song if I may say my opinion (and I may ☺️) My favorite is Denmark. It’s tough between Denmark and Finland, they are in a class of their own, but my choice still falls on Denmark. However, I think Finland will win and it won’t be positive that Denmark got start number ONE 😬 Time to vote! Sweden’s entry is nice and well-produced, and the Norwegian entry makes me very happy, they are both good but I’m happy if they end up in the upper half. Australia’s entry is written by a Swede and I could have imagined Charlotte Perelli with that song… but now it’s the insanely beautiful Delta Goodrem and a mammoth production and yes, I think they will place high. For an INSANE glow🤩
Struggled with uploading pictures and video, will hopefully try to get it done:-)))) I rarely use highlighter, but when I do, it’s incredibly important to me that it: 1. Gives a nice and almost natural glow 2. Has the smallest glitter particles possible This one hits the latter. But compared to, for example, Make up store’s, it gives noticeably more glitter and a more obvious glow than a natural glow. But still not too "glittery" to fall into that category. I went for the color "space cowboy," which I have to say first of all – what a name! haha. Secondly, I’m glad it didn’t turn out too dark, which I feared. Previously, I’ve only used highlighters that are almost white in color (e.g., from Make up store and The balm). But it worked out fine! The packaging has a super interesting nozzle that caught my attention. It was really fun to see how the product came out from being empty to the highlighter slowly appearing. The design might look a bit cheap and not super exclusive. But the product is truly quality. Even though I liked the nozzle, I think the lid could have had an easy screw function. Especially for people with weak grip and strength. Ideally, I want all my products in my makeup bag to be easy to open. The yellow combined with the dark glitter color isn’t very aesthetically pleasing to me… But as I said, quality in the product🙌🏼 Unfortunately, my skin has flared up a bit with pimples and texture, which this "highlighter" unfortunately emphasizes, so it becomes more noticeable. But regardless of makeup, it will sit better on nice skin. New favorite🥰
First, I just want to start by saying that I am a regular user of Urban Decay’s original setting spray. So it was really fun to get the chance to test this one and compare. The packaging is pink-orange (coral?) with a dark (but transparent) cap. Otherwise, it’s exactly like the original – same shape, spray function, and design. The spray function works fine. Unfortunately, I often (but not always) feel like the first spray can come out in drops rather than mist. I always spray once into the air before using it on my face to be sure. The packaging is very cute and summery. Unfortunately, it feels a bit cheap and not luxurious, which I don’t think matches the price. But the quality does! Which is the most important thing about the product😌 It holds makeup incredibly well, it doesn’t smudge. With the original, some days I feel like I HAVE to touch up my makeup a bit during the day, either by dabbing a tissue in the T-zone or with a bit of powder. But with this matte version, I don’t have to🙌🏼 Yes, I get a glow, but I don’t look insanely sweaty and the makeup doesn’t separate, so I don’t feel pressured to HAVE to touch it up. It should be mentioned that I don’t overdo the powder because I want my skin to look as natural as possible. I haven’t tested this with a full matte look from the start. PS. I’ve added pictures and video where you can see right after I put on makeup to several hours later where I’ve done a lot and haven’t touched up my makeup at all. My skin has unfortunately flared up a bit with pimples and texture, so the makeup doesn’t sit as nicely as usual, sorry about that. Also looks a bit orange since I haven’t used self-tanner hehe Finally, I just want to say that I will definitely continue to use this, I even think I prefer it over the original. Glowy highlighter
I really like products that bring out a glowy and dewy makeup look, and this product manages to do just that! 🪩 You need to shake the product well before use, and you can use it in many places and in many ways. I like to mix it with my foundation to get a nice glow. It can easily remind you of Charlotte Tilbury’s filter glow (as long as your foundation is pretty good too). I use L’Oréal tinted serum together with this and get a combo I love (see video of the mixing). It’s super pretty on the eyelid, but it can be good to be aware of how you might want to “set it,” since it’s liquid and we can easily get creasing on the eyelid. Otherwise, the color, space cowboy, is really nice and one of the ones with the least shimmer among the colors available. I still think it has a bit too large shimmer particles for my taste, but that’s a matter of preference. A good combo spray!
I have tried many different setting sprays, and this one has definitely become a favorite of mine! This setting spray can easily be combined so that it can be used both as a fixing spray and a setting spray. One method I like is to apply a bit of spray together with foundation before moving on to the next step in my makeup routine. Not all setting sprays can do that. The makeup stays very well throughout the whole day (from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM). The only thing I can point out is that where you have fine lines, it can show a little bit, but I think that’s a small price to pay. I often touch my face during the day, and with this spray, I avoid small "spots" where the makeup has worn off (because I accidentally wiped it away). Incredible as a luminous base!
I really love the glow this gives! A little warning that the shimmer particles (the pearls) in the product are quite large, which can make it look a bit too glittery if you just apply it as a regular highlighter on top of makeup. But as a base, it’s absolutely magical! By applying it under foundation or mixing it in, you get an incredible radiance that really shines through and looks luxurious all day.
