Cool but natural shade on the lips, became go in the face
My first thought was that this would be very dark on me, so I would have never at first glance bought it myself just from seeing the product image. However, it only took itself as a tint and didn't get dark at all. I tried it on my lips a couple of times and really liked the shade and the light gloss. It presents itself as a versatile oil that helps to nourish the lips with a nutrient-rich blend of oils. HOWEVER, I felt that it dried out in the long run and I needed to reapply all the time to not feel that my lips were dry and tightening. For this reason, I would not buy it again, not even in another shade. Then I also tried it as a glowy blush, which I rarely do with products like these, I prefer something in powder form or creamy form that I then set with powder. My experience of this, as that color became very cool on me, was that all the glow held up all day, but when I got home after a workday, I looked more like I had gone out in the skin than rouged. Maybe the shade works better for this purpose on someone else than my skin tone, I am light but warm, slightly olive. It felt like it clashed. The shade did lay nicely on my lips. + The glow, when I had it on my cheeks, held the glow all day. - The color, didn't work on my skin tone on cheeks: became gray/purple during the day. Beautiful, but expensive
I had the honor of being #lykoinflutester again, and this time the product for review was #clinique honey Collection Pop Lip & Cheek Oil Black Honey Glow.💋💄 The product is a liquid version of Clinique's popular Clinique Honey Collection Almost Lipstick Black Honey product. However, I haven't had the chance to test it yet, so I can't compare the products.🐝💄 The product came in a very beautiful and summery packaging. The product itself is also in a very stylish bottle, which fits perfectly in a bag or even a pocket💋 The oil is completely fragrance-free and has a beautiful and natural shade, and it glides beautifully on the lips, leaving a lovely shine and stunning color. The product can also be used on the cheeks, but I didn't really see much difference. I'm not a regular user of lip oils or glosses, but I plan to use this product up. Natural and simple glow ✨
I got to try Clinique Pop Lip & Cheek Oil in Black Honey Glow. When I first saw the packaging, I thought the color would be way too dark, but on the lips and skin, it becomes much softer and more natural than you think. On the lips, it feels like a mix of nourishing balm and gloss: moisturizing, lovely, and completely scent-free. It doesn't last very long, but even when the shine has faded, the lips feel soft and hydrated. As a blush, I'm not as impressed. Sure, it gives a nice glow, but I feel like the product disrupts the makeup underneath, and the color also disappears quite quickly. Therefore, I definitely prefer to use it on the lips. However, I can imagine it could be nice to apply directly on the skin if you're not wearing makeup underneath! First of all, I just want to mention that this was done a bit in haste, I was so unfortunate to write the wrong date on the calendar for the review. I apologize so much for the poor quality of the video. But I hope the review gets across the important points💗 The first impression is an incredibly cute packaging. While the actual packaging of the product is very sleek and has a classic design. Even though I prefer gold, silver rarely goes wrong. I quickly think of their classic Black Honey Lipstick, which is in silver, so it creates a nice connection in the series. Second is the scent, which smells almost like nothing? Something I appreciate because I find that many lip oils have an incredibly intense mint scent that I can't handle. So a big plus for the scent! Or should I say for having almost no scent? haha Third is the product itself - it has an incredibly nice color! In the video, you can see me wearing it combined with the lip liner from Mac in the color Whirl - such a nice combo! Perfect for fall🍂 The product feels very soft on the lips and not heavy. On the cheeks, it is a bit sticky, but the feeling goes away quickly and feels like one with the skin. The oil gives a glow on the cheeks in addition to the light color, a bit like a blush highlight combo. From experience, I feel the color fades throughout the day, so I will combine it with another blush as a base. If you want a more INTENSE color, I would combine it with another blush, for example, a matte creamy blush as a base. If it might not be the right one for you blush-wise at all, it can still be perfect for your lips. What I can say for sure is that this will definitely be thrown in my bag😍 especially this fall! Super lovely oil!
As #lykoinflutester, I got to try the Honey Pop & Cheek oil from #clinique! I was a bit scared at first of the dark color, but it doesn't get that dark on the lips at all. I usually always start my makeup routine with the Wonderskin Lip Stain, but I've felt for a long time that it was missing that little extra. Before this came to me, I was using lip balm, now the lip oil has become a staple combo with Wonderskin! It feels just as moisturizing as lip balm, but much fancier! 🤩 Check out the before and after picture, and you'll see that it really is the icing on the cake in the routine, or something to have in your bag when you're on the go. The only thing I wish is that it would last a bit longer before needing a touch-up, it does fade very nicely though. Right after applying it, it can get a bit too shiny. Then I agree with previous reviews that less is more! For a natural makeup look
This oil can be used on both lips and cheeks. The product is very reminiscent of the classic Benefit Benetint, so if you like that, I absolutely think you will like this one too. They are quite similar in price per ml. The oil feels light and moisturizing. It gives a more subtle color upon application than it looks like it would from the packaging. This is a plus for me as it makes it more usable. I prefer to use it on my lips, but it also works as a blush if you like a natural makeup look. Think no makeup makeup. Personally, it’s not a favorite due to the price and because I personally prefer a creamier consistency for my blush. This feels very watery. Moisturizing lip oil
As lykoinflutester l got to try the Pop Lip & Cheek Oil in Black Honey Glow which is a new product inspired by Clinique’s iconic BLACK HONEY Almost lipstick. It’s a 2 in one product and it can be used as a glowy blush or a lip oil. I have use the original Black Honey and like it very much. It gives a very effortlessly beautiful look and looks good with different makeup. The lip oil comes in a sleek packaging. The applicator is very slanted compared to what we are used today. But I feel it picks up enough product for each application and maybe even is good for precision application. It looks quite dark in the tube but it’s actually very sheer and I feel it’s even less pigmented than the lipstick. Formula is very hydrating and almost feels like a treatment balm. I don’t feel any scent or flavor. On the lips I like the shade. On cheeks as a blush it is glowy but takes quite a bit of product to build up the color intensity that I would like. It looks good but as it never drys down, it can be a bit sticky and hair might stick to the face which I’m not a big fan. I enjoy it a lot as a lip oil though so I will keep using it for that beautiful effortless look with a glow! #LYKOINFLUTESTER #CLINIQUE

Multifunctional product 😍
I tested the viral #CLINIQUE lip oil in the shade Black Honey. Clinique's products are already familiar to me in the skincare range, but I haven't tried the brand's makeup before. Clinique's lip products have been on my shopping list for a long time, so I was excited to test this product! 😌💋 As a lip oil, the product has surprisingly a lot of pigment. The applicator is small and precise, but when layering the product, the result easily looked messy, and it was hard to apply it evenly. The small applicator is also not very handy for applying blush. I found the best way for myself was to first apply the product to the back of my hand and then use a makeup sponge to bring color to my face. The oil works better if there is no other makeup on the face, and it would definitely be a nice product for a no makeup look! 🫧 I really liked the consistency of the lip oil! 👌🏻 My lips stayed hydrated, and the oil didn't feel sticky. I don't plan to use the product as blush in the future, as it's hard to apply without disturbing the foundation underneath. The price for such a lip oil is quite high. 🤔 However, I could consider buying this again, but in a slightly different shade. Lovely nourishing lip oil
I got to try Clinique's lip oil and I have to say, this product exceeded my expectations! The product can be used on both lips and cheeks. I haven't really used it as a blush, but as a lip oil, it worked wonderfully. The product feels extremely pleasant on the lips. It's not sticky at all, but it stays on the lips and doesn't run off. The consistency also feels wonderfully nourishing, as it is a bit thicker than normal lip oils. The product's packaging is beautiful! I would love to display it, and the packaging gives the product a luxurious feel. The packaging is also, in my opinion, a suitable size and fits well in a bag. The product has no scent, which makes it suitable for more sensitive users. I got to test this product from #clinique as #lykoinflutester. I was sooooo happy that I got to try this product, because I had actually been eyeing it and was close to clicking it home🥰 The product is designed to be used on both lips and cheeks as blush. Convenient with 2 in 1🙌🏼 I am not a big user of liquid blush, as I mostly use powder blush. But for someone who likes it more in liquid form, it’s probably great. So I have used the product on my lips. The product moisturizes and keeps the lips soft and hydrated all day💋 The product looks very dark in the packaging, but I think it looks nice on the lips. Maybe a bit darker than other lip products I usually use, but. The packaging is very pretty and elegant. Good applicator brush in a suitable size. Super pretty on the lips
It looks so dark in the product picture, but it’s so sheer that it only leaves a beautiful pink tone. I’ve understood that the idea with the color Black Honey is that it should look nice on all skin tones, and I definitely believe it does! I reacted a bit to the fact that it also says it’s for use on cheeks. I tried this, but it didn’t look good on me. Now I do have really oily skin that doesn’t benefit from anything shiny on the cheeks. It probably works best on someone with very dry skin. When I used it alone on my lips, I felt that it could bleed a bit outside the lip line. This was only for testing, and with my oily skin, this happens with most glossy lip products, which is of course annoying. That’s why I always use lip liner or use lip gloss/oil mostly as a topper on lipstick when it starts to feel a bit dry. So for that purpose, I always use lip gloss, so the lip oil is a really lovely product. I also have very sensitive eczema skin, and I don’t notice it reacting negatively to the product either. It has no scent, which is great for those who can react to that. I prefer it over terribly perfumed lip products that you have to smell all day long. + beautiful color, soft and pleasant on the lips, suits most skin tones - tends to bleed without lip liner, doesn’t look good on the cheeks for oily skin. Lovely shade and moisturizing lip oil
I was really excited to try this product because Clinique's Almost Lipstick Black Honey has long been one of my favorite lip products. So my expectations were high right from the start. The product is really easy to apply and can be layered beautifully, which is a big plus since the pigment isn't too strong. The texture is pleasant, not sticky at all, unlike many other lip oils. The color is absolutely lovely, just the right amount of natural but still gives a glow. I especially like that the product has no scent. Lip products are an important part of my everyday makeup, and especially natural, easy-to-use shades are my go-to. Since I've been using Clinique's Black Honey shade in lipstick for a long time, it was really interesting to see how this lip oil version works. The lips stay well moisturized all day long, even though the product needs to be reapplied a couple of times throughout the day. It applies beautifully and pairs perfectly with the lipstick in the same shade. The only downside is the price, as the product is quite expensive and the packaging size is small, although it is quite economical. This has definitely become my new favorite lip oil! I got #lykoinflutester the package to try this #clinique 2-in-1 oil and I’m positively surprised. Not that I didn’t believe Clinique could succeed with their product, but that I can rock this product without makeup! The product gives the perfect flush to a makeup-free look, such a perfect sun kissed without actual burning😍 Very natural finish and doesn’t feel too sticky on the cheeks! On the lips, the product also feels pleasant and long-lasting. Don’t be scared of the dark color because the result won’t appear so intensely if you apply it in small amounts. This way it’s more pinkish, such a your lips but better type of result🤌🏼 If you slather on too much product, it gets really messy. The color won’t look even this way. I definitely feel that this is more of a product suitable for a makeup-free/light makeup look! I had the honor of being #lykoinflutester for the #clinique product “Clinique pop lip + cheek oil” in the shade “Black honey”. I’ve never tried any lip oil before, but now I’m hooked. The product comes in a nice little packaging. Convenient and stylish with its lovely silver cap. First, I tested this on my lips. The color is nice and natural, can suit anyone regardless of skin tone. It doesn’t feel greasy on the lips but light and makes the lips soft. I get quite dry lips especially during the cold months, but now I think I’ve found what I needed. Then I tested the product on my cheeks. I’ve always liked a matte finish on my face and was a bit skeptical about the clean-girl trend, but the result was so fresh. Autumn-inspired tone for lips and cheeks
I had the honor of being [hashtag] for [hashtag] product ”Clinique pop lip + cheek oil” in the shade ”Black honey”. Clinique's products are recognized by their iconic packaging and also the applicator with the silver part on top. It looks sleek and stylish. I am 43 years old, have combination skin with an oilier T-zone and drier areas on my cheeks. I have light blonde hair and like warmer shades in clothing and makeup. My first reaction to this product was that it looks dark, something I usually don't like so much. When I read about the product, it is an oil-based product that is supposed to provide a transparent coverage with glow. It is a 2-in-1 product for both blush and lips. It contains caring ingredients like jojoba oil and castor oil. That appeals to me! It is also positive that it is allergy-tested and fragrance-free. The applicator is quite small and it felt a bit ”fiddly” when applying it to the cheeks. But when I blended it out, it gave a slightly bronzy touch and a nice glow! I was surprised that it gave a light but nice shade even on the lips! A product I will definitely use in the fall, as I thought it was pretty on both lips and cheeks.

Perfect for the kids
As #lykoinflutester I got to test the Pop Lip & Cheek Oil Black Honey Glow. Over the years, I have bought and used many products from #clinique, mainly skincare, and have always been satisfied and thought the brand holds high quality. However, I am a bit torn when it comes to the oil. The packaging is small and convenient. It is easy to carry in my handbag, and the screw cap closes tightly to avoid spills. Plus, it looks nice. It is important to shake the bottle well before use. Otherwise, the oil can look streaky. The applicator is good and dispenses the color nicely. The oil is completely odorless and tasteless. Wonderful to avoid a nasty taste on the lips! Unfortunately, the color is too strong for me when it comes to the lips. I am quite pale, and strong berry colors create too much contrast with my skin. I also find that the oil "slips here and there" and ends up in the lines (wrinkles 😀) around my mouth. Overall, I have difficulty with greasy and oily products on my lips. On the cheeks, the oil gives a completely different impression and provides a significantly better feel. It does feel a bit sticky, but it melts in easily and gives a sheer and natural look. Strangely enough, the color suits me really well on the cheeks. The oil also stays much better on the cheeks and doesn't need to be touched up throughout the day. For me, this is an oil for the cheeks but nothing for the lips, and therefore the rating will be three stars. easy to carry
I got to test this product as a Lykoinfluencer and I’m generally bad with lip products, so when I saw the color, I had a bit of a prejudice that it might not suit my lips at all. But you know what? I was very positively surprised! The product feels good on the lips and not at all too sticky for someone who isn’t used to oil! This product is an oil and maybe not meant for the color to last like lipstick, so if you want this for the color, I would make sure to have it ready in my pocket. Now it doesn’t matter to me, I have more need for the caring ones, but for the price, you might want something more long-lasting maybe 😇 ++ that it can also be used on the cheeks! Perfect if you want a bit of blushy cheeks! So to be 2 in 1, it’s still a good price!
