An elegant and nice lipstick that provides good shine, moisture, and a bit of color. The color may look a bit scary, but on me, it’s just a little darker and deeper than my natural lip color. It can be easily applied without a mirror, and multiple layers give a more pronounced color. The packaging is tall and slim, so it fits perfectly in small bags or pockets. It’s a bit uneven at the end, so it can’t stand upright easily, but that’s totally fine. The lipstick is 100% fragrance-free. Hybrid between lip balm and lipstick
I was so lucky to receive this «almost lipsticken» from Clinique to test it out as #LYKOINFLUTESTER. Usually, I am very fond of lip products that provide moisture and nourishment to the lips - while also giving a bit of color. So I had high expectations for this one! By the way, I always use lip liner, which I also have on in the video. In the video, I use MAC's lip pencil in «Stone» first to define my lip contours. This lipstick in Clinique's unique color «Black Honey» is supposed to adapt to your natural lip color and become a unique lip color that should fit perfectly for everyone who tries it 😍 The formula of this is a mix between a lip balm and a lipstick. The consistency is light and soft, easy to apply. The color can be built up by applying several layers. And I love how the color develops on my lips, even though it is quite transparent and not super intense. The color is cool, which is perfect since I look best in cool colors 😍 The lips get a nice shine, not as much shine as a lip gloss gives. But still a nice shine ✨ It also doesn't smell like anything. The size of the product itself is very nice. I like that it is slim, making it easy to apply. I think the design of the product itself is a bit boring, I would have liked a slightly prettier or more aesthetically pleasing tube/case where you could perhaps see the color of the lip product in some form. It looks a bit anonymous 🥹 The lips feel moisturized and cared for for a while after application. But you definitely have to apply it regularly throughout the day for the color and shine to stay on the lips. But I didn't really expect anything else from such a product 😅 All in all, this is a lip product I will definitely use a lot going forward. I have nothing bad to say about it really. I love both how it feels on the lips and how it looks. I think the color it gives my lips is a very flattering color 🥰 It's fun to see how different it looks on everyone who tests it. New favorite lip oil 🖤🍯
I was so lucky to receive this lip oil from Clinique to test as a #LYKOINFLUTESTER. Usually, I really love lip products that provide moisture and nourishment to the lips - while also giving a bit of color. So I had high expectations for this one! By the way, I always use lip liner, which I also have on in the video. In the video, I used MAC's lip pencil in «Stone» before applying the lip oil + a thin layer of Clinique's Almost Lipstick in the same color as the lip oil, «Black Honey». This lip oil in Clinique's unique color «Black Honey» is supposed to adapt to your natural lip color and become a unique lip color that should suit everyone who tries it. The first impression is that this lip oil is incredibly comfortable and lovely on the lips. Not thick or sticky in consistency at all. Thin and light, while also providing a beautiful color, without being too intense. You can also build up the color a bit by applying extra layers. I really like that the undertone of the color is cool, as I don't suit warm colors on my lips very well. The lips also get a very nice shine ☺️ It actually doesn't smell like anything. That's maybe the only thing I miss a little. But since it is 100% fragrance-free, I can't really expect anything else either 😅 I also tried it on my cheeks. It gave a bit of color (very natural color), but mostly a super nice glow. It probably works best on very natural days without much makeup, but it worked perfectly over both powder and foundation without ruining the makeup underneath. Otherwise, I think this will be nice to have in my bag to freshen up my cheeks throughout the day at work. I blended it gently with my fingers ❤️ The applicator is small and precise, which makes it easy to apply both evenly and precisely. I actually really like this applicator for this formula, as it is not as thick and sticky as other lip oils with larger applicators. The design of the lip oil is nice, nothing with wow-factor. But I like it, easy to see what color it is and a nice size ☺️ The lips feel soft and moist long after application. The shine disappears first, but the feeling of moisture lingers for a long time 💦 All in all, this is a lip oil I will definitely reach for in the future. I have nothing bad to say about it. I love both how it feels on the lips and how it looks. I think the color it gives my lips is a very flattering color 🥰 It's fun to see how different it looks on everyone who tests it. I think the consistency of this lip tint is super good and creamy and gives a really nice color! Love the concept
I am a big fan of hybrid products and love moisturizing products that can be used on pretty much the whole face. On the lips: I think the finish is very glossy without being too sticky, and the color is quite pigmented. I do think that black honey might be a bit too dark for my light skin, but I think this one is super pretty on darker features. On the cheeks: easy to blend out and "build up" to get the desired amount. Also here, the color was a bit off for me, as I suit warmer tones a bit better. Some of my favorites in the bathroom cabinet! I love skincare and therefore enjoy trying out different products. But these! I often fall back to them, so I can highly recommend them.
