Spring Feelings with Pink 🥰🌸
After a base with primer from Make up Mekka and a mix of #lumene cc-cream medium and #idun skintint Kungsholmen, I got a feeling for pink and went wild with my "Vintage rose" palette from #morphe after the shadow primer from #urbandecay. I honestly thought that my red hair would kill my use of pink, in general, but oh how wrong I was! I probably honestly use more pink than ever, but in a different way. The mascara from #catrice in the color burgundy and brow pencil from the same brand. I used my coral blush from #moira, but stood there dreaming of the plum pink and mid-tone blushes from #makeupstore 😋 Must have them! Had Dreamcoat from #colorwow last wash, and it’s hopeless to keep the curls then (shiny and smooth, but that’s the only thing it wants to be). Stubborn as I am, I made a futile attempt today with the dry heat protectant from #happycrazymine, texture spray from #rco, and curling iron from #ghd. This Week's Base
Throughout the week, I've tried new as well as old products. I start by prepping my skin with the Gleeze grippy primer, which is a new primer for me. Thoughts on Gleeze will come in a separate post. Next comes the Catrice soft glam filter, which gives a bit more moisture for my skin that I apply together with Essence bright eyes, which I pat into my skin. After that, I pat in the Madara skinonym foundation with warmed hands, which I think works well and quickly. Then I apply Gleeze cheeky blush, Pink Lemonade, directly on my skin, which I pat in. It goes quickly and easily. I set it with the Guerlain micro powder, which is a new product for me, to set it a bit. I go through with the No7 eyebrow gel. I spritz on the Gleeze freeze settingspray. It's more light brown than burgundy, but I still think this mascara is nice and I feel that the longevity has been totally okay for a "regular" mascara! Today's makeup and refresh of the hair color
The red in the shades washes out quickly, and I've understood that the trick is not to wait to maintain the color until it looks really dull, but to support it along the way. That's why I mixed a bit of Bright Copper with Pink Pop and conditioner when I washed my hair the other day, and I absolutely think the shades of red and copper came back to life a bit more! Otherwise, I've become more focused on lips and less on eyeshadows since I dyed my hair. Here I have Wonderskins Whimsical on my lips. Today I'm testing the Essence tattoo lip stain with one of the Gleeze lip glosses, and here we have a combo that feels fantastic on the lips and looks super gorgeous together. For a total of 60 SEK!!! Crazy when you think about it... The Tattoo Lipstain is super pretty on its own, but I really like the Gleeze lip gloss, so I wanted to try them together. I think the lip glosses remind me a bit of Juicy Tubes in consistency. A bit thicker but nice. I prefer a slightly stickier gloss that stays on rather than having to reapply every other minute. So I was so happy when I saw that these budget lip pencils from Catrice are available on Lyko! 😍 I just couldn't help but order. I've been using Catrice Plumping lip pencils for a long time and have been super satisfied; they last for several hours and do the job that some more expensive brands can't manage. Dashl Copper kiss
My first product from Dashl was a lip pencil and “copper kiss” goes well with my hair color 😋 It’s soft and very easy to work with. I barely had to press it against my skin 🤗 It looked nice on its own, but I needed a bit of moisturizer and also got some shine on top with Decubals balm.
