Apparently it has done the exact opposite. 😂 I've been trying different bases from IsaDora, Lumene and e.l.f., experimenting with different finishes and combinations, and every time I think I've decided which one I prefer… I end up back at e.l.f. Today I did another e.l.f. makeup day, and looking at my skin afterwards I'm confused all over again. 😂 The finish looks smooth and natural, there's enough coverage to even everything out, but I can still see skin. It doesn't look like I'm wearing a thick layer of foundation. What I especially like is how it sits on my more mature skin. My texture and lines obviously haven't magically disappeared — nor do I expect them to — but the makeup isn't drawing unnecessary attention to them. The overall finish just looks soft, fresh and really wearable. And then there's my completely unofficial makeup judge: my husband. 😂❤️ I've noticed that he keeps complimenting my makeup when I'm wearing e.l.f. He doesn't care what brand I've used or what foundation I'm testing, so when the same look keeps getting compliments, I have to admit that's making me question my rankings. 😂 I genuinely like IsaDora, and I've had some beautiful results with Lumene too, so I wasn't expecting this decision to become so difficult. But e.l.f. keeps giving me that combination I want: natural-looking skin + good coverage + comfortable wear + a finish that still looks like me and most important for me it will last me all day without worrying about it while I am working outdoors doing yard work and house maintenance. As you saw in a title i gave it a very provocative yet truthful description because i consider this foundation fluid from #Catrice is literal dupe of much more expensive foundation from Charlotte Tilbury. What do you need to know: - its sheer and not covering so much - its very dewy and reflecting - its on budget but will last long You might ask why i said i love it, if its not very high coverage. Here is the answer: personally, i do not like high coverage foundation, especially when its getting warmer and skin has already a layer of sunscreen on it. You always can use concealer and colour corrector for spots or under eyes. How to apply this foundation: Its preferable to use the brush, because sponge can take too much of a product,considering its already sheer. Pay attention that you need concealer to spot conceal and colour correct some areas. You also need to powder the T-zone to avoid too much of sebum as well as setting the concealer under eyes and on the oily parts. And here comes the main thing! The dewiness is so real and sooooo refreshing! If you a person with problem skin, it might be not for you, but honestly, why not? If you have oproblen skin you can also use this as a primer before applying your normal foundation for adding extra glow. Super budgety, and youth- friendly foundation, that also look very good on photos. I use it frequently for photoshoots for skin to look alive but not cakey. Budget friendly satin finish foundation
