Top off your makeup with this setting spray and wow, what a glow. It’s lightly shimmering but not glittery. Also feels moisturizing and dries quickly. Really like this one. The only reason it doesn’t get 5/5 is the scent, which lingers and I notice it all the time. Looking at the before and after picture, you can see the lack of radiance. I definitely got that! ELF primer
This primer was a bit sticky and is not something I personally am a big fan of, but it probably makes other makeup last longer throughout the day. At least it seems that way. I liked that it almost had no scent, and the size makes it practical to carry in the toiletry bag or purse. The packaging feels solid, and the product was easy to get out. ELF setting spray
This setting spray has a mild rose scent, so if you like rose fragrance, it’s perfect. Personally, I’m not a big fan of it, but I liked that there was a bit of glitter in it (and that there’s a ball at the bottom so it mixes easily when you shake it, so you don’t suddenly become a glitter bomb 😂) and that it dried quickly. It was also very comfortable on the skin and sprayed evenly. Afterwards, the face feels a bit tight, if I can explain it like that. I don’t have much experience with primers. But I like the feeling. After applying makeup, I used the setting spray and it has a kind of shimmer in it. It doesn’t make you glittery, but it leaves a nice shimmer and glow. Just from trying it once, I’m looking forward to trying it again tomorrow. I’ll try it more and give it more time to be able to make a better review. Love the glow! this is seriously all you need for a sun-kissed look! a little goes a long way. I like to take 2-3 dots around the cheek and nose. it blends like a dream! no concealer or bronzer needed. Charlotte Tilbury dupe?
I have used this both with and without foundation. On bare skin, the color becomes quite natural and a bit weak, and I think it shows even less over foundation. The consistency is very light and fluid. You need quite a bit of product to get a noticeable color, as it contains small glitter particles and is not very pigmented. On the positive side, it gives a nice, glowy finish.✨ I prefer it with a brush, but I find it dries quite quickly, so you have to work fast to blend it out. If you wait too long, it can dry on the skin and become a bit patchy when you try to blend it out. It works almost as well as a highlighter, and I don’t use extra highlighter when I have this on. I think it suits best for a light everyday look, especially in summer or when you want a natural, fresh glow without too much makeup. I really like that it feels light on the skin and gives a nice glow. Absolutely don’t want to complain, but you buy Halo Glow Skin Tint SPF50. Sure, it protects against the sun, along with sunscreen products/ not just skintint spf/ more expensive, compared to what #elfcosmetics usually offers. Smells good, but requires perfection from me 😆
A whole lot of foundations I ordered last time, and more are coming now, so I have to review this one from #elfcosmetics 🙈 The tube is a classic squeeze tube with a "window" showing the shade, with a nicely firm formula; Not too runny or thick 👌🏻 This foundation is supposed to be medium to full coverage, and I don't completely agree with that..😬 ✨️If your skin is nice or at least in a better period, then it's a bit like that.
