Sometimes I can feel that some primers are way too expensive and give the same effect as a cheap one. While other cheap primers are cheap for a reason, this primer is so worth the price! I think it holds ALMOST all day, I work at a preschool and feel that sometimes I get splotchy after almost the whole day has gone by. Therefore, I still think this one holds almost all day. I use this primer together with setting spray from the same series. I’m a bit cautious with the setting spray because I feel the makeup moves and it’s easy to get splotchy if I have too much setting spray. This setting spray is "dewy" and makes my makeup look fresh. 🙋‍♀️I have been testing this primer for about 4 weeks now. Mostly, I have tested it as a primer under makeup, but also a few times on its own - without makeup. ❗Good to know: My skin is somewhat older, a bit on the drier side, and has also lost its natural glow. ✨This primer is very similar to an old favorite (Beauty Flash balm, from Clarins). It gives a nice natural glow and radiance to the face without looking greasy. This means I can feel fresh without foundation on the days I choose to go without makeup. Despite this, I usually choose to wear foundation, and I haven't noticed that it clashes with any of the foundations I've used. But I honestly can't determine if the makeup lasts better or longer, but it definitely provides a smoother base. 🤗Since I've used this after the fantastic day cream Essential Energy Hydrating Cream from the same brand, I feel this primer has been a bit unnecessary since the cream itself gives a crazy nice glow. 🤴The price is reasonable, but I would say it is unfortunately a bit not economical. 👍A really good product, but no "hallelujah moment" for me! #lykoinflutester #shiseido #primer #bas

But now I have a product that I REALLY can recommend, I mean I love this serum from NYX🤩 ⭐️It delivers on its promise that the makeup lasts! I want to be honest and say that I had no high expectations for this primer, partly because I have a really hard time finding a primer that works for me and partly because the price tag on this one is low. But I am really impressed with this primer. It is so light in consistency, feels a bit like a day cream. It doesn't blur as much as a silicone-based primer, but I don't have to worry about whether it "collides" with foundation, because I think it works great with all my different foundations. I am absolutely no pro at primers and have no greater knowledge of whether my foundations are oil-based, water-based, or silicone-based, but I know that you should have the same base for primer as for the foundation - but as I said, I think this one works with everything. ✨Long-lasting and the makeup stays nice all day! ✨Many primers make my skin react with small bumps, but no reaction with this one 🙏 ✨It is not sticky.
