When my skin is well hydrated and behaving, it gives a really nice grippy base and helps my makeup sit well throughout the day. However, it can be a little hit or miss for me depending on how my skin is that morning. On drier or rougher skin days I've noticed that it can sometimes start to flake or pill, which isn't ideal when I'm trying to get a smooth base. I still enjoy using it, but I personally prefer the e.l.f. gripping primer slightly more, because so far I haven't noticed the same flaking issue with the e.l.f. one. Milk is great on a good skin day, but for me it isn't quite as foolproof. Pros: good grip, nice base when skin is hydrated, makeup wears well. Cons: can flake/pill on my drier skin days.
