Mixed feelings
Okay, so I have pretty long lashes and I'm a waterproof mascara fanatic. I like when the lashes stay as they should all day – no drooping, no smudging, just perfection. I got to try the Milk Makeup Kush High Roll Mascara with pretty high expectations (and a lash curler at the ready – thanks Shiseido). First and foremost: the brush. It’s actually quite nice. Easy to work with, catches the lashes nicely and separates them at least at first, if you use a thin layer. The mascara delivered both length and volume, and that’s always a plus. It didn’t smudge. It didn’t flake. It looked nice all day – even through a pretty stressful workday. And when it was time to take it off? No tugging and pulling. Just a gentle and easy removal. BUT (and this is a pretty big but): the mascara dried super fast. And not in that “oh how efficient” way, but more in a “oh wait, now it’s sitting there like a cement wall” fast. This made it a bit difficult to work in more layers without it getting clumpy. And the biggest downside for me – it didn’t hold the curl at all. Despite a good round with the lash curler, it just… laid the lashes down. As if the mascara became too heavy and pulled the whole look down. So yeah, it has its moments. But for me, who wants lasting curl and a bit more playtime before the lashes dry together – this one might not be the one. It’s good in many ways, but I think I’ll stick to my waterproof favorites for now! Thanks Lyko 🖤 #lykoinflutester #milkmakeupTranslated from swedish

Very satisfied
After trying many different mascaras over the past few years, I always return to my old favorite. Therefore, I was very excited to try this - and I must say it delivered! I usually use both serum and get lash lifts, but I've taken a break now and feel that my lashes haven't been much to brag about lately. But after applying this, my lashes became super nice and I love the result! The packaging is also very pretty ✨ The only downside from my side is that I feel it might weigh the lashes down a bit, making them ‘fall’ faster. #lykoinflutester #milkmakeupTranslated from norwegian

An ok primer
Unfortunately, I don't have very many similar products to compare with, as I don't usually use primer. I definitely think it helps the makeup apply better. When it comes to longevity throughout the day, I can't actually say that I feel a noticeable difference. However, plus points for the lovely texture and that I feel my skin is much better prepped for the makeup. #lykoinflutester #milkmakeupTranslated from norwegian

Very nice texture
Super happy with this product since I'm not that into foundation and prefer lighter skin products. As the name promises, I think this skin tint sits extremely well and gives an even, nice texture. Personally, I really like a slightly dewy and hydrated finish, so I would have liked to see even more glow. But for combination and oily skin types, I think this is perfect. The "grippy" texture also makes it a bit difficult to blend out, but that's something you almost have to expect. I would also have liked a shade darker, as number 5 was a bit too light for me. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #MILKMAKEUPTranslated from norwegian

Works
I got to test this mascara from #Milkmakeup as a #lykoinflutester. My lashes are medium length and have a bit of natural curl. I usually wear false lashes, so it was definitely fun to try this for a little change! I often have problems with mascaras flaking, but not with this one. That was a plus. It also had a nice black color and stayed on all day. The packaging itself was incredibly pretty and really looked luxurious. The mascara was also easy to wash off since it’s a tubing mascara, which I love. For this price, though, it’s not something I would buy again. I think it’s a bit of a hefty price for a mascara that doesn’t stand out particularly. Had it been on sale, though, it’s definitely something I would have bought! #lykoreviewTranslated from swedish

Moisturizing primer with lovely glow!
This primer really lives up to its reputation! It has a light and gel-like consistency that melts into the skin without feeling sticky. The product is silicone-free, which is a big plus since silicone is water-repellent, so it doesn't work well in primer, and it keeps the makeup in place all day. The primer contains hyaluronic acid and niacinamide, both of which are products I like to use in my skincare routine as I find they provide a nice hydrated feel and a natural glow, without the skin feeling oily. The makeup applies evenly on top, and I think my foundation looks smoother and holds better with the primer. I even think it works just as well alone for a fresh, hydrated look as it does under makeup. It's a bit hard to determine, but I would say that with this primer, my makeup holds better throughout the day! However, I would say that I didn't have any wow experience; in this price range, you might find a better product. If you're looking for a primer that both cares for the skin and keeps the makeup looking nice longer, this one is definitely worth a try! I've added pictures of just the primer and of the primer with makeup on. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #MILKMAKEUPTranslated from swedish

Finally (!!) cracked the code 🥹👏🏻
I was so lucky to receive Milk Makeup's Hydro Grip Primer as a #LYKOINFLUTESTER 💚 I am 34 years old, have normal to dry skin. A bit sensitive at times if products contain a lot of fragrance. I have a few lines around my eyes, and a small one by my mouth. And I get a few pimples/bumps now and then. To be honest, I have tested this before. DID NOT get it to work on my skin 🥲 But this time I decided to do a little research and test it out for several days with different techniques - until I found the “right” way to use it. Because this is apparently a primer that you either love or hate, depending on the right technique. Guess what? I have finally cracked the code - at least for my skin 🥹👏🏻👏🏻 First of all, this is a primer with both hyaluronic acid and niacinamide. So skincare! 😍 The first and biggest mistake I made with this is applying other moisture serums and moisturizers before I applied the primer. That’s the first mistake people make, I think - myself included. It becomes butter on bacon and usually ends up with a lot of pilling of both skincare and makeup along the way. Less is more, even when it comes to skincare 😂 So step number one; Pat a thin toner into the entire face as the only prep before the primer. I do this just so the skincare in the primer can penetrate deeper into the skin, giving lots of moisture. Then I pump out 2 pumps of primer onto my hand and distribute it all over my face. The consistency is a light gel. At first, it is very easy to spread, but becomes sticky the more you work it into the skin. I apply it first like a moisturizer, before I gently pat it in until I feel it starting to get sticky. This also helps the primer press into fine lines and pores. Then I wait 1 minute before I apply makeup over it. When I apply foundation/skin tint and concealer over, I always press the products in with a brush. I never drag the brush over the skin!! Pilling of skin/makeup can still happen if you have dry skin or haven’t exfoliated in a while, which is more likely to happen if you drag the brush over the face. Important to remember 🥹 And these are the steps that have worked perfectly for me and this primer 💚 The result on my makeup after a whole day at work was truly impressive. The smile line I have next to my mouth, where the makeup ALWAYS creases - was still completely smooth when I got home from work!! 😮 And that’s not a given here. So I finally understand the hype around this primer and will actually continue to use it. Because wow, what an insane result. The only negative thing I have to say is that I feel like my skin feels a bit “heavier” with this on. It could be that it’s because I’m not used to using primers regularly. But my skin doesn’t feel dry, just a bit “tight” in a way. As if I have on a slightly thicker layer of makeup than I usually wear. Therefore, I think that what is stated in the description about it not giving a “heavy feeling” doesn’t quite hold true. Also, I think the price is very high compared to how little product you get, especially in a 10ml. The next largest at 45ml is also maybe a little product, in relation to the price. But it’s nice to wish for as a birthday or Christmas gift 😍 Can absolutely be recommended - if you use it correctly! 💚 #MILKMAKEUPTranslated from norwegian

Fantastic potential, but poor packaging!
I was so lucky to receive the new Hydro Grip Gel Tint from Milk Makeup as a #LYKOINFLUTESTER. I am 34 years old, have normal to dry skin. A bit sensitive at times if products contain a lot of perfume. I have a few lines around my eyes, and a small one by my mouth. And I get some pimples/bumps now and then ☺️ If there’s something I love, it’s a natural base for everyday use. Preferably in the form of a skin tint. That’s why I was so happy when I got to test this new launch from Milk Makeup 💙 The first thing I notice is clearly the packaging, which drags down the whole first impression. As soon as I pull off the seal, a lot of product spills out - without me being able to stop it. It seems like there’s pressure in the tube that causes this. I finally have to bang it upside down on the table to release the pressure. Sooooo the packaging could definitely have been better 🤯 A pump for example. But then comes the fun part - application! 😍 I’ve tested this both with and without primer underneath (Milk Makeup’s Hydro Grip Primer), and I’ve actually found that I like how this applies best - with the primer 👌🏼 Without primer (only with my own skincare) I felt like it slid around a bit on my skin without really being able to set. I prefer to take the skin tint on my hand and work it into a foundation brush. Then press the product into the skin. I never drag the brush over the skin - I hate when skincare/primer/foundation pills! Pressing the product in to avoid this works best in my eyes ☺️ I chose shade 2, which is actually perfect for me. I could probably have had number 1 as well since I’m so naturally pale. But since I often use a bit of self-tanner, this is probably the one that will suit me best in the long run. The consistency is runny, so it looks very thin and light. But I actually find it feels quite thick and sticky when you work with it. Therefore, it’s probably best to apply this with a brush, not with fingers or a sponge. So you warm up the product on your hand and in the brush before application, then it feels a bit lighter and the product is evenly distributed on the brush 🥰 The result this gives my skin is truly “glass skin”! It looks like I’ve drunk 4 liters of water and have a glow from within 💦 It’s probably going to be a bit too intense of a glow for me, as the glow doesn’t “dry” down. So I have to mattify it with a bit of powder to not look like a doll. But that it’s moisturizing is for sure! Perfect for us with dry skin 😍 I also like that you can build up the coverage. Since the first layer doesn’t cover much other than unevenness in the skin. The second layer covers redness from pimples/bumps a bit better. Something that is a must for me, as I struggle with skin that almost gets red spots just from touching it. It also doesn’t settle into fine lines or on dry areas of the face (when I use primer underneath), I feel it creases when I’ve used it without the primer. Which might be worth mentioning! But a good skincare routine in general is definitely recommended, especially exfoliating dead skin - it always gives the best results 👏🏻 All in all, absolutely a skin tint I will be using a lot going forward. But always with the Hydro Grip Primer underneath (just remember to use this primer correctly - see my review of the primer to see how I get it to work optimally) 💙🩵 #MILKMAKEUPTranslated from norwegian

I really liked this!
I was so lucky to get to test this mascara from Milk Makeup as #LYKOINFLUTESTER. I am 34 years old, have naturally short and thin lashes, which are not particularly long. And usually need a waterproof mascara to keep the curl on my lashes all day 🥲 ..but lately I have really opened my eyes to tubing mascaras. So I was so happy when I saw that this mascara from Milk Makeup was a tubing mascara. This means it stays put all day, but is super easy to remove with warm water. You can just pull the mascara off your lashes in "tubes". Without makeup remover! 👏🏻 The first impression of this mascara is that it is a perfectly okay, modern tube. Nothing special really 😅 The brush is just how I like it on mascaras; a straight, silicone brush. I also always use an eyelash curler before applying mascara, as my lashes naturally stick straight out 😏 The mascara separates, gives volume AND length. Easy to work with, if you work quickly. It is definitely something to keep in mind when using a tubing mascara; they dry incredibly fast. If you want to build it up with multiple layers, LAYERS 1 and 2 MUST be applied "at the same time", without pause. So you have to finish working on one eye before you start applying on the other eye. You can't go back to work on the first eye once the mascara has dried, it won't look nice. Then the lashes will clump together and look like spider eyes. But if you do it right - this mascara is gold! 🤩 Love the color, it is really black black 🖤 It holds the curl on my lashes all day, and neither flakes nor smudges on my eyelids. But the best part is how easy it is to wash off. Especially in the shower, with your face under warm water. Then the mascara runs off in tubes, so you don't look like a panda when you come out of the shower. All mascara is gone! 💦 Absolutely a fantastic tubing mascara! 😍 The price is the only thing that brings it down to 4 stars. Since there are many good tubing mascaras on the market for a much more reasonable price. But maybe the price is high because it contains Milk Makeup's "revolutionary vegan High Roll Tubing Technology and nourishing hemp seed oil"? It will be exciting to see if I notice any difference in my lashes after using this for a while ☺️ Can absolutely recommend as I liked it very much! ❤️ #MILKMAKEUPTranslated from norwegian

Laboriously Crafted Brush
As a #lykoinflutester, I had the honor of trying this mascara from #milkmakeup ✨ This was a relatively good mascara in my opinion, however, I have many lashes that grow close together, and that makes brushes with few/"stiff" bristles easily clump my lashes together. Unfortunately, I experienced this with this one as well, and many other newer mascaras on the market today. Aside from that, I thought it did what it promised, namely provided volume and length. It was easy to wash off, I didn’t need to rub particularly many times, which also means that my eyes don’t get as irritated = great! I also found it creamy and easy to apply in general, it didn’t take many strokes with the brush to feel that the lashes were "saturated". All in all, not a product for me, but absolutely for someone with a different type of lashes and who usually enjoys the results from a mascara brush with short bristles!Translated from swedish

Pretty okay but nothing wow
As a #lykoinflutester, I had the honor of trying this product from #milkmakeup ✨ This is a product that unfortunately didn't completely convince me, so I have to join many of the other reviews that say it's... so-so. For starters, I feel like I would have liked it to be a bit stickier to be a primer, but I also think it held up well throughout the day, so maybe it's just my preconceived notions about primers that are haunting me here. However, I am also someone who applies my makeup with my fingers, and I found that the makeup kind of... flowed out a bit too much, it was hard to get it in place all at once. It probably would have gone better if I had used a beauty blender and patted everything in, hehe. Secondly, I agree that the price is outrageous for the small product and that I also feel like you have to use quite a bit of product for it to really feel like you have a primer on your face for the makeup to set into. So the sum of the matter is that I will probably use this on a few more special occasions when I apply heavier makeup (with a beauty blender), but I probably wouldn't buy it again. 🫣Translated from swedish

Super great multi-use product!
As a #lykoinflutester, I had the honor of trying this product from #milkmakeup ✨ I am super satisfied with this product, even though I had 0 expectations. I am a real lightweight when it comes to makeup - the less, the better - but I have a fondness for tinted products/cc creams/light coverage foundations, which probably made me automatically like this gel tint 🙈 It has a light texture, applies extremely nicely on the skin (even though I apply it with my fingers) and covers surprisingly well. I liked that it can also act as a primer - since I have acne-prone skin, there were certain areas I needed to cover a bit extra, so I just went in with my regular cc cream over for more coverage, and it stayed like a charm all day. I tried to match my shade with the shade I have in my cc cream from Lumene, where I have the color Light. After some research, I concluded that number 3 - fair, cool should fit well, and it really did! Top rating from me! 🙌🏼☀️Translated from swedish

Very easy to wash off
I have tried this mascara from Milk and I really like it! The brush has short and hard bristles that make it very easy to apply the mascara. Without much effort, the result is even and nice without clumps. The lashes become long, black, and nicely separated. Unfortunately, the lashes fall down very quickly after application. Even though I curl them beforehand, it only takes a minute before the lashes "fall down" and point straight out after I have applied the mascara. However, this doesn't necessarily mean that this weighs down the lashes, as it is a recurring problem for me with other mascaras as well. What stands out the most about this is how easy it is to wash off. With warm water, it really rolls off the lashes. I don't get black around my eyes like I usually do despite endless rubbing. It must be gentle on the lashes, but also nice to avoid waking up with black clumps in the corners of my eyes the next day. However, I did get a bit irritated in my eyes from the mascara. That it is so easy to wash off does not mean that there is a compromise on durability. It doesn't flake at all and holds well. Additionally, it is buildable if you want thicker lashes. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #MILKMAKEUPTranslated from swedish

Great potential!
I tested this new product from Milk, but unfortunately chose a shade that is too light (no. 2) for my skin and therefore feel that I can't really give it a fair review. But I will do my best! The first thing I reacted to was the packaging. A lot of product spilled out when I opened the cap, and it got everywhere. Unfortunately, this happens every time I open it, and it feels like there is pressure in the packaging. It's a shame because it both wastes product and is very annoying with all the mess. After that, I discovered that the color was way too light for me, but I tried to apply it anyway. It actually blended in surprisingly well and evened out my skin tone. If I had a better shade, it probably wouldn't have looked like I was wearing makeup at all, which I really like. I only wear very little makeup, so this would be perfect for everyday use to feel a bit fresher. The formula is actually somewhat sticky and a bit slow to apply. I used my fingers since the formula is otherwise too runny. Once it was "worked in" to the skin, it laid very evenly and nicely. It really delivers on its promise of not settling into creases or lines and not clogging pores. You can't see it in the picture, but I also think I got a nice glow even though I became ghostly pale😂 I really think it's super annoying that the shade turned out so wrong because it feels like it could have been a top product💔 For reference, I have combination skin that can get oily in the t-zone. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #MILKMAKEUPTranslated from swedish

Way too expensive
I've tried this primer from Milk a few times now, but unfortunately I'm not convinced. Especially because it's so expensive for such an extremely small package. So I expect almost miracles, but was disappointed. The biggest reason for the low rating is that I feel it almost makes my skin dry. I usually apply my liquid foundation with my fingers, and it doesn't glide out as well and easily as it usually does with this primer underneath. Sometimes it almost seemed like the foundation was flaking a bit, or however I should describe it. The formula is a bit gel-like like most other primers. It glides on the skin, and when you start to pat it in with your fingers, it sticks a little, but not too much. Spontaneously, I think that “sticky” is usually synonymous with good grip. However, this stickiness almost completely disappears after the minute you are supposed to wait before applying foundation, and the only difference I feel on my skin is that it is a little less oily. I usually tend to get a bit oily, especially on my forehead, and if this primer does anything, it’s to reduce that oiliness a bit. It also says that you can use it alone, but I don’t see the point in that at all since I don’t notice any difference in how my skin looks when it comes to glow. One pump was enough for my face, but still half the bottle is empty after maybe 5-6 uses. No bang for your buck here unfortunately! If it had been cheaper, the rating wouldn’t have been as low, but this feels like a robbery. The amount on the back of the hand in the video is one pump! #LYKOINFLUTESTER #MILKMAKEUPTranslated from swedish

For everyday and special occasions
I recently tried Hydro Grip Gel Tint, and I must say that I am very impressed. The product has a light and airy consistency that makes it easy to apply. It glides smoothly over the skin and gives a natural glow while evening out the skin tone so that it is somewhat matte, without feeling heavy or cakey. One of the best things about this tint is that it has good coverage while allowing the skin to breathe and that it can be built up to cover more. I have used it as a base, and the result has always been great. It lasts a long time throughout the day, and I have not experienced it fading or becoming patchy. In addition to this, I think my skin looks fresh after using it. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a natural and fresh look. It is perfect for both everyday use and special occasions! I am very satisfied. The product has a light and airy consistency that makes it easy to apply. It glides smoothly over the skin and gives a natural glow while evening out the skin tone without feeling heavy or cakey. The downside might be the price. But I personally think the price is absolutely worth it, and I find the product to be economical in use. So it will last a while here at home! I have sensitive skin with some acne. And this product has not triggered my skin. It lasts a long time throughout the day. #lykoinflutester #milkmakeupTranslated from norwegian

Good base!
I recently had the opportunity to test out Milk Makeup's Hydro Grip Primer, and I am impressed. This primer has a light and silky consistency that makes it easy to apply. It feels a bit tacky when applied to the skin, but once it sets, it glides smoothly over the skin and creates a perfect base for makeup. One of the best features of this primer is that it really keeps the makeup in place all day. I find that it reduces the visibility of pores and fine lines, giving a more even appearance. I have used it under different types of makeup, but mainly the Hydro Grip Gel Tint, and I have noticed that it and other products sit much better and stay consistent throughout the day. I have not experienced any fading or transfer of makeup, which is a big plus. I have sensitive skin with some acne. And the primer has not triggered my skin. The only negative about this is maybe the price, but I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for long-lasting and flawless makeup. If you are willing to spend a little money on makeup! It is perfect under all types of makeup, but it works really well with the other products in the Milk Makeup line. Super cute packaging, and even though the color looks green in the container - it is not when it goes on the skin! #lykoinflutester #milkmakeupTranslated from norwegian

Volume and Length
I had the opportunity to test the Milk Makeup Kush High Roll Mascara 💗 A mascara that gives both volume and length, which is awesome! I really think it does what it promises, and it can be built up if you want a more intense result. What I appreciate the most is that it can be removed with warm water. I otherwise find that mascaras can be very hard to remove, but that’s not the case with this one. The only thing I think is a bit negative is that it has a very wet formula that makes it take a little while to dry on the lashes. Otherwise, it separates the lashes and lasts all day! 🥰 #LYKOINFLUTESTER #MILKMAKEUPTranslated from swedish

Kush high roll mascara
I love the brush on this mascara! It gives length and volume, so it checks off most of what you could wish for from a mascara. I have pretty long, but thin eyelashes without any curl. I'm dependent on an eyelash curler and a good volume mascara that keeps them up all day. This one does the job. I've used it at work, during workouts, and swimming, and I rarely experience it smudging. Big plus! The only downside is that it can get clumpy quickly if you try to apply more throughout the day, but since it's so long-lasting, I've only done that once. #lykoinflutester #milkmakeupTranslated from norwegian

Clumps easily and becomes like 'spider legs' 😣
I have the honor of testing the kush-high roll mascara from #MILKMAKEUP as a #LYKOINFLUTESTER. 👱🏼♀️Me as a tester: I prefer regular lash brushes, not silicone. However, I do like the sky-high mascara with a silicone brush, for example. 🌟 product: A mascara that is supposed to provide volume and length. Water-resistant and smudge-free for up to 24 hours. 📝my opinion: A brush that evenly distributes the mascara without becoming excessive on the brush. However, it tends to clump several lashes together. In my opinion, it easily becomes very similar to typical 'spider legs'. I want volume and length, but I want the brush to evenly distribute the mascara without clumping several strands into one big strand in multiple places. I want it to give volume to each lash for a finer result (in my opinion). I find the product difficult to try to separate the strands if, for example, I am not satisfied that it clumps so many strands into several clumps. And the more you try to separate the lashes, the heavier the layers become on already existing clumped strands. I don't think it provides much result in building length, rather more that it builds up and forms so-called 'spider legs'. What I like is that it really keeps the mascara in place all day. It stays like a rock. Doesn't flake at all. Even in contact with water, it holds incredibly well. Additionally, it is very easy to remove with an eye makeup remover, for being a water-resistant product and also for holding so well all day. Here I would actually say that it is the easiest water-resistant mascara I have tested to remove. It has also been a long time since I tested a mascara that hasn't flaked/given a black layer under the eye for a whole day. I am somewhat torn about whether I would buy it again. Most likely not, since I don't like how it clumps several sections of lashes together and becomes so incredibly clumpy, in my opinion.Translated from swedish

Totally okay 😬
I got the chance to test the Milk Makeup Mini Hydro Grip Primer 💗 I want to start by mentioning that I usually don’t use primer because I think it’s a bit of an unnecessary step, hehe 🤓 But I’ve been testing this one for a while now and I think it’s okay! It gives a nice glow and helps the makeup last a bit better throughout the day. It doesn’t smell much, which is a big plus! It’s a very small packaging so it runs out very quickly, but it’s perfect in the makeup bag when you’re traveling or don’t have much space. I like that the packaging is transparent so you can see how much product is left. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #MILKMAKEUPTranslated from swedish

Natural glow 🤌🏼
I had the opportunity to test the Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Gel Tint 💗 It is supposed to be a natural and moisturizing gel tint that can be built up if desired. I love this type of product because it gives a very natural result and is suitable for all occasions. I prefer to apply it with my fingers and rub it in like a face cream. I found that it could get a bit streaky when applied with a brush. I have combination skin, but it is primarily quite oily. This gel tint gives a lot of glow and radiance without looking greasy, which is appreciated. It is fragrance-free and also suitable for sensitive skin, which is a big plus! 😍 The only negative that can be mentioned is that there is some kind of pressure in the packaging that makes it easy for more product to come out than needed. But otherwise, there are only positive things to mention, and I will definitely buy it again ❤️ #LYKOINFLUTESTER #MILKMAKEUPTranslated from swedish
