🔬 7 weeks. No serum. No acids. ONLY this mask. Here are the results!
There are two places I happily leave 💸 – and that’s on serum and skincare tools. They are simply the two things that (from my experience) give the most visible results. So when I got this in the mail, I was as happy as a child choosing their own candy 😂. To give this LED mask a fair test, I put ALL ACTIVE products (retinol, bha, aha, etc.) and other tools on PAUSE FOR 7 WEEKS. No serum, no acids, no aids. Just me and the mask – so I could see what it could actually do on its own. 🤝 So, how did it go? Did it live up to expectations? Both yes and no. The technology itself delivered – I actually saw a VISIBLE DIFFERENCE in my skin after 7 weeks, and that even WITHOUT using serum or acids during that time. But I wish the fit of the mask was better – the EMS effect wasn’t quite optimal since the mask DIDN’T sit as snugly on each side of the face. I had to hold it in place myself. That takes away a bit from the point of the “handsfree” part. Maybe there’s a way to get it to fit better? And the BLUE LIGHT for acne treatment. It has to be held manually with a separate remote control, which isn’t very practical either. 🤷 I would rather have it integrated into the mask and reduce the different LED programs since I read that mode 2 pretty much does everything I want and more. Do you really need modes 1 and 3? 😅 Another thing that could be more user-friendly is the remote control. It would have been much easier with controls directly on the mask, but now I’m being picky here 😂😇. So onto the more positive aspects! 🕺🏼 Even though it may not sit perfectly, it actually sits MUCH BETTER than e.g. the Dr. Dennis Gross mask! And that’s a big plus for me. 😄 Velcro for the win! I LOVE that it has both LED and EMS in one! That’s quite innovative and time-saving ⏰. The fact that the treatment ONLY TAKES 10 MINUTES is a huge plus! As a new mom, I have minimal time for myself, and I also can’t use strong anti-aging products like retinol while I’m breastfeeding, so this felt like a good alternative. 😍 🔋 There’s a GOOD BATTERY LIFE once you’ve charged the mask, which means many uses before it needs to be charged again. Another plus of the mask is that you can choose what level you want for EMS, because if you start too high too soon, you will experience small “jolts” on the skin, and that’s not very pleasant. 😄 I started at level 3 and worked my way up to level 8 over 7 weeks. So onto the most exciting part 🥁 THE RESULT: After 7 weeks of testing, I can see a clear difference in the BEFORE AND AFTER PICTURE. 📸 My skin looks and feels firmer, more radiant, and more even in tone. 👶 This is definitely a mask I will use regularly for a little me time and a pick me 🆙 after a long night with the baby. 😅 #lykoinflutester #silknTranslated from norwegian

A fresh addition 🍃
For someone used to silicone blurring primers, this was a fresh addition to the makeup bag. It gives a hint of glow, evens out, sits nicely on the skin, and is a bit STICKY. MEEEN that's the whole point for the makeup to stay better. 😄 Even though the makeup should stay better with this, I think 12 hours is unrealistic to expect a primer to keep the makeup looking nice. After just 2 hours, the makeup started to show in the smile lines, and after about 8 hours, I was a bit patchy in some areas. And that was without putting any extra makeup over than the Skin tint in the same series. With ingredients like Hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, and blue agave extract, this gives me an extra step of hydration, something I appreciate before putting on makeup. LIGHT, GLOW and 12-hour wear? Let’s see shall we! 🕵✨
My skin/base: normal to dry, sensitive and can easily get a bit reddish in the skin and around the nose. I’ve heard A LOT about this product and was sold when the product was described with the words LIGHT, GLOW and 12-hour wear. It’s perfect for summer, right? I tested with high expectations. 🥹 🍃LIGHT.. Describing the product as light doesn’t feel quite right. It’s more thick in consistency, but with the words GRIP in it, it makes sense that there should be more consistency to work with. A bit like the feeling of a thicker sunscreen if that makes sense? 🤔 When it comes to coverage, the description LIGHT fits much better. With a thin veil of color, the skin shines through, giving a more natural finish. We can like that when summer is just around the corner and you want - I just came from the beach and have lived my best life vibes. ☀️🌊 GLOW, on the other hand, is something it delivers well on. ✨Nice and natural glow without the help of shimmer. Here, it’s the moisture that gets to shine. Got to love makeup that delivers on both finish and care. 🤌 5 out of 5! DID IT LAST 12 HOURS? Well… No, not really, but I didn’t expect that in the sun and 20 degrees. Unfortunately, it settled a bit in lines around the mouth and nose, and got a bit patchy in some areas after 8 hours. A tint that lasts 12 hours without the help of other products like e.g. powder and setting spray is something you’ll probably be looking for a long time. I’m still on the hunt🕵🏼♀️, but I would probably use a good setting spray over a tint like this rather than using one that sat like a shot for 12 hours but felt dry on the skin. Sooooo worth it and summer’s go to? Well.. I’m a bit torn.. I LOVE🤩 that it combines caring ingredients with a hint of color. It gives a lot of glow and a very natural finish. Since the skin gets to shine through, you can decide whether you want to cover more with a concealer or build up with the tint. The only negative in my eyes is the consistency and how it feels on the skin. I wish it was a bit lighter in consistency, because for someone with dry/normal skin, it still feels a bit too thick now that the heat is coming. (Sweaty Bart emoji 😅) . Otherwise very satisfied! Mac stone+ this = dream combo 👄
I've heard a lot about this, but I've never tested it since I have something similar from Givenchy that they came out with a few years back. BUT I have to say that I actually prefer this. Feels more moisturizing and gives a slightly softer color on the lips. In combo with Mac lipliner in the shade: stone, this is a COMBO I've used a lot since 😍. JUST LOOK AT IT 🤌. Even though Clinique has a lip and cheek combo product, I feel this can do the same job. Natural flush ☺️
Okay so this is fun! 2 in 1 products are always exciting to test out, and this was no exception! The consistency is a bit gloss-like without being sticky, and on the lips, it feels nourishing like a lip oil should. The color itself is very mild even though it looks strong at first glance. For use as a blush, you will get a natural flush color and glow if you have nothing under a light layer of foundation. For someone who is usually a bit red in the skin, it was fantastic that this only left a little color and could be built up. ☺️ also very much a fan of the berry color as I feel pink/reddish blush on me gets too strong. 🍒🫐🍓 🚫 heads up! I wouldn’t recommend putting this over a foundation with medium/full coverage. 😬 Since this is an oil/gloss texture, you will lose the base right in that area.. something I thought was a downside. 😕 otherwise, I am very FAN 😍 Can’t wait to use this more in the summer as I get a bit more color and don’t want thick layers of makeup. ☀️🌊 #LYKOINFLUTESTER #CLINIQUETranslated from norwegian

Exciting, but not optimal.
This was new and exciting to try out. To get the best possible result, you should tease the hair and also use this tool right at the hair roots. To show the result, I did what it said even though I believe more in creating good texture using products like saltwater spray. You can clearly see more volume in the hair, but for someone who swings their hair in all directions throughout the day, you can see the crimping. Even when I was quick to not leave the tool on the hair for too long. Not optimal. 😅 I'm also not a fan of things that take a bit too long. So going through each section becomes a bit too much for me, as I like it simple. A little too much care? for my fine hair.
Now I have tested Redken Acidic bonding intensive pre-treatment, Shampoo, Conditioner, and leave in treatment. All from the same series for 20+ days and here is my feedback. For someone who doesn't take care of their hair so well on a daily basis, this «treatment» was long overdue! With this series, I feel care from the first to the last step. After the first wash, I noticed a big difference. My hair feels smooth, cared for, and well taken care of. The scent of this series is also absolutely heavenly and reminds me of a trip to the hairdresser!! A little strange to say, but after 20+ days of care, it seems like the whole series might be a bit much for my hair type, which is fine, thin, and smooth. My scalp feels oily right after a shower (something I want to avoid), while the rest of my hair is silky soft. Maybe too much moisture and care for my hair? Now I have tested Redken Acidic bonding intensive pre-treatment, Shampoo, Conditioner, and leave in treatment. All from the same series for 20+ days, and here is my feedback. For someone who doesn't take care of their hair on a daily basis, this «treatment» was long overdue! With this series, I feel care from the first to the last step. After the first wash, I noticed a big difference. My hair feels smooth, cared for, and well taken care of. The scent of this series is also heavenly and reminds me of a trip to the hairdresser!! A bit strange to say, but after 20+ days of care, it seems like the whole series might be a bit much for someone with fine, thin, and straight hair. I use the shampoo 2 times in a row as I want to double cleanse my scalp from products and oil. The shampoo does the job without stripping my hair of moisture, but it seems like the rest of the series might be a bit too much for my thin hair. My scalp feels oily (something I really want to avoid), while the rest of my hair is smooth and soft. Very strange. The rest of my hair feels soft and good, while my scalp looks like I haven't washed my hair in a week. Pre-treating my hair before a shower was new for me. Now I don't quite know why this step is necessary, but for someone with thin and fine hair, this might be the solution to care for the hair without getting a GREASY result?. I indeed got that when I used the whole series. Going forward, I think just shampoo and conditioner will be enough care for my hair.
