This definitely does what it’s supposed to – cleanses the skin and feels simple and light to use. The foam is mild and the skin feels clean afterwards, without it being complicated or bothersome. But it didn’t quite suit my skin, I felt it was a bit too stripping or not quite balanced for me. Unfortunately a disappointment..
I don’t know what it is, but I can’t get this to work on me🙁 I read some reviews saying it can take a while to build up a tan, but I think that takes away the whole point of this concept. I actually have good patience, but since I put on makeup almost every day & therefore remove the makeup & the actual “tan/base” & then have to reapply it, I don’t get the desired result I had hoped for. I was really excited to try this product because I like to look a bit tan in the face without having to sunbathe in a solarium, for example. I use tanning drops that work really well but thought a spray version would be convenient. The positive thing about it is that the scent is magical, the packaging is nice, the spray is even & it dries quickly on me. Since it unfortunately doesn’t give me the desired result, it sadly doesn’t get more stars than this even though it might be buildable. I will keep it & continue to try for a while but unfortunately won’t buy it again. Surprisingly good
I haven't used any self-tanning products in years, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I hoped that at least the products would have developed enough over 20 years so that the "yellow and patchy" look would be a thing of the past 😅🙈 This mousse was easy to apply, at least on the legs, with a glove. The result was surprisingly even! The pictures show that the color stuck more to dry spots (despite exfoliation), and there are challenging areas, like the instep. I did get some patches, but that's probably a user issue 😁🤭 4/5 stars because the scent, contrary to the description, was in my opinion just a typical self-tanner smell. Also, the shade was too yellow for my skin (cool undertone). I hope this will be addressed in the future. 😇 What I can say after just one use is that it spread satisfactorily well at home 😍 I was skeptical at first, but now I believe the product could very well create an even and natural finish. At least there has been progress in recent years with self-tanners, so nowadays it’s understood to avoid yellow-brown, patchy hands 😅🤩, in other words, there are ways to apply the product while protecting your hands, like this glove. The glove itself works quite well, spreads evenly, and the result is mostly neat. Dry spots and folds are still challenging though, I got quite some patches on my soles myself. I've tested this self-tanning spray a few times now in the morning on clean skin before skincare. The spray leaves a nice little glow on the skin, but hardly any tan, even if you spray multiple layers. Stable self-tanning glove
I tested the application glove together with the mousse, and it really made the self-tanner much easier to apply evenly. The glove feels soft to use, and I found that the product glided in nicely without leaving streaks. It also feels more sturdy than many other self-tanning gloves I've had before, which I thought was both positive and negative. I like that it was stable but almost to the point that it was a bit too stable. I have tried the Face Tan Mist from Rebecca Stella and think it’s perfect when you want to look a bit more awake and fresh without makeup. It feels light on the skin, is easy to spray on, and gives a natural glow without being too much. I especially like that the result can be built up gradually. I tried Rebecca Stella’s new BUS mousse and was actually pleasantly surprised. I’m usually quite picky when it comes to self-tanners because I want color without it being patchy or orange. This mousse was very easy to work into the skin and I thought the result was even right away. It’s much looser in consistency, and I thought that made it easy to work with 😍 I also like that you can see where the product goes when you apply it – that makes everything much easier. I have tried Rebecca Stella Coco Daze Self Tan Mist, and I actually think it was good! I waited until the next day to see the final result, and I clearly noticed a difference in my face. The skin got a nice glow and looked much fresher without it being too much. What I liked best was how easy it was to apply, and not least the really nice scent – it smells much better than many other self-tan products I have tried. In slightly darker light, the color could look a bit orange in some places, but in normal daylight, I thought it looked very nice and natural. I got to test these three products; Face Tan Mist, Coco Daze Tan Mousse and obviously the Bronze Buff'r Self Tan Mitt and all I can say is that I’m sold!! Let’s start with the mousse, since I usually hate using self tan on my body and that’s why I never really do it, but this mousse is so easy to apply with the mitt, and it leaves you with a natural result.. and the best part is that you smell like coconut after🥥😍 The face mist is definitely a new competitor to my old favourite, since the smell is so good and I love the fact that it’s gives you gradual tan and therefore you can use it basically everyday without worrying about weird tans lines etc. (Bear in mind that I’m a person who tans really easily and I don’t have a pale skin so spraying it everyday probably doesn’t show off as easily). The best part for me is the smell of the products, I love that you smell like coconut after and not the basic self tan smell that can be very unpleasant in many of the self tan products out there.
