I made this little order last week. It was supposed to arrive on Sunday, but Instabox misplaced the package for a couple of days, could have been worse though 😄 It's nail polish from ByLyko in a couple of colors that I've been eyeing for quite a while, as well as a top coat and a nail hardener from Essence. Two different pink hair colors from Directions, I've tested both before 🩷 And the whole order was actually because I wanted the pen from the Essence series Meta Glow 😆 I have one of the other colors and I like it. Eye Makeup with the Best Budget Shadows!
I love these shadows! They are SO ridiculously affordable! I’ve tried to add ALL the products in the look, but after two attempts where the app crashes, I give up 😄 you just get the shadows 😊 the rest is Isa dora glow primer and isadora Cc-cream light and medium, NYX brow pencil in taupe, it cosmetics Bye bye under eye and waterproof mascara from Maybelline that isn’t sold in Sweden. The eyeshadow primer is from Glossgods The hair is day three (with refresh from Beat the heat by Lyko and a refresh spray I’ve forgotten the name of 😄 plus diffuser*blow-dry). Not too bad, right?! (Lovely with little things that make you happy, in the middle of a packed week). 🤗 Depends box Autumn Twilight 🌂 (just the name! 😍) with six mini polishes in beautiful colors, with names like Amber Sunset, A Touch of Fall, and Frost Kissed Rose. 🌹 I’m really tempted to try them! 🤗 A hand cream from Ida Warg that will stand in my new bathroom, which is in green. It has received good reviews and was on sale. 💚 🤗 And last but not least; eye patches from Essence. A pack with 30 pairs, super good price. I’ve heard a lot of good things about these. Not so much...
My favorite concealer is Camouflage+ Matte from Essence, but since I use the foundation in the Stay All Day series, I thought I would try this concealer too. But nah... it was a bit silly of me not to stick with the one I know I like. I can say that the color of this one suited me perfectly! Best match. I am very fair with a slight cool undertone, and this one is faintly pink, so it worked perfectly. Unfortunately, it’s not particularly covering, and that’s probably the crux of the problem here. It doesn’t really build up either. So, it covers, but it doesn’t cover COMPLETELY. I think this might work if you want to correct some lighter blemishes, but for red spots, it’s not sufficient, like Camouflage+ is. It has a sort of "natural" finish or what should I say, so not matte. That probably suits the product itself, but it doesn’t really fit my preferences. The longevity is so-so. Okay, it works. But it’s the fact that it’s not particularly covering that is the decisive flaw for me. Now that I think about it, it’s actually very similar to the foundation itself, as if they poured the same product into small bottles. I will use it up as just that anyway.Translated from swedish

I have a couple of other colors of this pencil from before (dark brown and dark purple), and I thought they worked pretty well, but I haven't been completely satisfied with the shades I bought since they were both very dark. This lighter brown is still what I would call dark brown, but it becomes a liiitle softer around the eye. It has a bit of glitter in it, and I think it's really nice because it's quite subtle. I think the pencil glides on nicely, and it also stays in place well. You can feel that it's not a luxury pencil, but that doesn't bother me. Good basic. I'm glad I finally managed to hit a bit right among the swatches and got what I wanted. As I wrote in the title: this is a pencil that I suspect will be used frequently. This pencil was a real hit! I have a huge weakness for duo-chrome and own all the colors of Sheglam's Chromazone pencils. I use it pretty much every day 🥰 I think it really elevates a makeup look and adds some dimension with a multi-chrome eyeliner on matte eyeshadow. This pencil will be a great addition, as I don't have this shade before. It glides on very nicely, is super soft in texture, so you have to be a bit light-handed. It shimmers in both pink and a bit of light green, I think, super pretty! I have it on the inner part of my eye, and I use darker shades further out. You can also easily smudge it out, but I promise - it stays put! When I tested it on the back of my hand, it didn't come off when I washed my hands, I had to scrub it off 😅 But with makeup remover, it comes off just fine. Another plus is that it has a sharpener on the opposite side. My other pencils have that too, but I've never used it because I don't think it's necessary. But if you want it a bit more precise, it's there. I do think it might get a bit tricky since the pencil is so soft, but maybe it works. Otherwise, you could try cooling it down maybe? ❄️ No, but this pencil was a highlight, I must say! 👌🤖✨ #lykoreview #essenceTranslated from swedish
