✨It’s Eurovision baby! ✨
Tonight is Eurovision and wow, the Nordic countries are really strong this year after all! Not a bad song if I may say my opinion (and I may ☺️) My favorite is Denmark. It’s tough between Denmark and Finland, they are in a class of their own, but my choice still falls on Denmark. However, I think Finland will win and it won’t be positive that Denmark got start number ONE 😬 Time to vote! Sweden’s entry is nice and well-produced, and the Norwegian entry makes me very happy, they are both good but I’m happy if they end up in the upper half. Australia’s entry is written by a Swede and I could have imagined Charlotte Perelli with that song… but now it’s the insanely beautiful Delta Goodrem and a mammoth production and yes, I think they will place high. 2016 Pomade Brows
My model (aka my mom) and I tried doing Anastasia Beverly Hills Pomade Brows on her tattoos, and she now has a shape she loves. The lift in the face was brutal, and it’s so fun to see how the eyebrows can change the whole look of the face. The pomade is truly a staple product, and I almost wish we would bring it back. A product I want to highlight that is EXTREMELY underrated is the makeup brushes from LYKO and Gleeze. I use them constantly. A favorite for me is ByLyko’s Foundation and Concealer dual brush. Gamechanger. Also the Gleeze Powder Brush! ByLyko’s lip oils are one of the nicest formulations ever. Gleeze Blushes and Beauty Blenders are also so good! Another product I’ve tried now is Daars Cream Blush, I’m totally in love. It applies so nicely on makeup and gives such a beautiful glow! Lastly, Urban Decay All Nighter, the cult product god. The new formulation makes no difference in wear. It’s as amazing as I remember. It sets and makes the makeup last through wet and dry. I had a day at school, was blow-drying, doing makeup on classmates, ran to the train, the train was insanely hot, and not a bit of makeup disappeared. 10/10! What do you think? Spring with Essence and the gang
I love doing my makeup when I've got a bit of color! Today I used Nyx glue face primer, Isadora CC cream and brow pencil, W7 tandrops, a bit of Male up store wonder powder for some glow (I use it quite often as a highlighter since it's super glowy), blush from The balm and Essence I tried the two matte shadows from Essence and I just say WOW. Such good shadows for such a good price (30 SEK each) is almost ridiculous. They are at least as good as the shadows in their nude palette and the brown is the perfect shade to have in the crease to build subtle depth! Decubal on the lips and the tubing mascara from Essence. ✨Welcome Home Unboxing✨
I ordered a little "welcome home box" so I had something fun to come home to after vacation. Five eyeshadows from Essence (by the way, I just saw that Margareta Grääs hyped one of these shimmer shadows as a dupe for a crazy expensive shadow.) I swatched one when I filmed the video the other day, can swatch the others too if anyone is interested. Two of my favorite mascaras and a new blush. Pale Burgundy
Burgundy is my absolute favorite color, and of course I also like that color on mascara. Lash Princess is a rather pale burgundy; it leans more towards brown than wine red on me. I wish it had more wine red pigments so the color would be stronger. Despite that, I think it looks nice. The lashes also get quite well separated and get a certain lift. However, it holds the lashes up very poorly during the day; they lose their shape and lift already after a few hours. But for a non-waterproof mascara, it still stays quite well without flaking. Unless you go out in the rain or happen to get tears in your eyes, then you can't rely on it. The brush is a bit big and clumpy; it works well for the upper lashes but is hard to reach all the small lashes on the lower ones. A positive thing is that it doesn't irritate my sensitive eyes at all, and of course the price, which is unbeatable for a mascara. Despite the price, I will not repurchase it when I have used it up. The colors are really nice and last surprisingly long. I've tested both in shades 01 and 03. The tip is firm, so it's easy to create precise lines, and it doesn't dry out like many other lip stains.
