I tried mixing a bit of Idun's mineral foundation with Lumene's Blur foundation shade 4 today since Idun's βFrejaβ is a bit light for me. They worked well together. A bit like Idun's and Lumene's CC creams also have a similar feeling, these two remind me of each other. Continuation of "rolling" makeup combo
Regarding the problematic combination that caused the makeup to roll up, I have read the ingredients in these products, and they are all three water-based, so they shouldn't separate. It's common for water-based and silicone-based products to separate, but all have, as mentioned, water as the first ingredient (i.e., most content and likely base). But is there maybe something else to keep an eye on? I wrote with Margareta GrÀÀs, and she said that it's often one of the skincare products that reacts with the makeup and not two makeup products... that sounds reasonable because I tried Nivea's advanced serum last fall, and I really liked it, but in connection with that, the makeup started to "roll", even though I waited for the skincare to sink in properly. Super sad. I considered using it in the evening but actually wanted it both morning and evening. Beauty of Joseon Dynasty cream and Essence grip-primer are probably the ones that don't work together because I've been using the Dynasty Cream for a few weeks now without problems with other primers. The Essence primer is a different type than most others I use (like Nyx Glue and Budgie)... I just don't really know what kind of moisturizer to use that it likes. Anyone have any thoughts? When the base "rolls" π«
Is there anyone else who hates when the base "rolls" and you get crumbs (like flakes) all over your face because the products clash with each other? Here are three radiant products, but thereβs something (I suspect the primer) that probably has a different base than the other two (water or silicone are probably the most common and they can clash) The strange thing is that when I tested the primer and CC cream on my dry hand, it did NOT roll, so thatβs why I have the moisturizer here too, because I wonder if it can roll here as well. You have to rock your pale skin as best as you can, and today I'm testing the LH cosmetics infinity filter powder, which actually feels a bit like a filter when I look in the mirror. Itβs definitely different in different lighting, but in my makeup mirror, my pores around my nose and cheeks become significantly less prominent when I apply a bit of this. I can't write a full review until I've tested training and sweating with it, but doesn't the mascara hold up nicely?! I was out for a two-hour walk in the sun, wind, and cold, and then I was indoors. No spots anywhere (super important for me!) and the length seems to have held up well too. And it's TOP to apply as well!!! I just want to sweat with it so I can find out if it holds up for that too or if it starts to smudge π¬π€© (I can't train yet because of my head π€) But soon! Today I styled my hair with significantly less and fewer products.
