This Week's Base
Throughout the week, I've tried new as well as old products. I start by prepping my skin with the Gleeze grippy primer, which is a new primer for me. Thoughts on Gleeze will come in a separate post. Next comes the Catrice soft glam filter, which gives a bit more moisture for my skin that I apply together with Essence bright eyes, which I pat into my skin. After that, I pat in the Madara skinonym foundation with warmed hands, which I think works well and quickly. Then I apply Gleeze cheeky blush, Pink Lemonade, directly on my skin, which I pat in. It goes quickly and easily. I set it with the Guerlain micro powder, which is a new product for me, to set it a bit. I go through with the No7 eyebrow gel. I spritz on the Gleeze freeze settingspray. I think essence is totally okay! It's not super waterproof as it claims, and it can flake a bit and leave some marks on the eyelid during the day. But for the price of about 50 kr, it's still really good 👌 It gives nice lashes and a good effect for a budget mascara. Today I went for a very subtle makeup look. Just need to head out and buy dog food🐶 I’ve tried some makeup tools from #gleeze 💓 Really great brushes that I personally think work best for powder products. Fluffy and soft. Today I tested the purple sponge for my skintint. Very soft and blends like a dream. The powder puff wasn’t really to my taste. Too big and a bit hard on the edges. All products are listed except for Essence skintint in shade 30 and powder blush from MUA in the color rouge punch. Casual Friday! I've gotten ready to head out and get new nails and shape and color my brows. Today's makeup features some old favorites but also a bit of new stuff that I've never tried before🌸 Mascara (volume), blush (pink lemonade), and lip gloss (caramel coat) from Gleeze. Today I'm testing the Essence tattoo lip stain with one of the Gleeze lip glosses, and here we have a combo that feels fantastic on the lips and looks super gorgeous together. For a total of 60 SEK!!! Crazy when you think about it... The Tattoo Lipstain is super pretty on its own, but I really like the Gleeze lip gloss, so I wanted to try them together. I think the lip glosses remind me a bit of Juicy Tubes in consistency. A bit thicker but nice. I prefer a slightly stickier gloss that stays on rather than having to reapply every other minute. Dashl Copper kiss
My first product from Dashl was a lip pencil and “copper kiss” goes well with my hair color 😋 It’s soft and very easy to work with. I barely had to press it against my skin 🤗 It looked nice on its own, but I needed a bit of moisturizer and also got some shine on top with Decubals balm. Revolution beauty london 5D lash mascara that gives enormous and voluminous eyelashes like false lashes. Good durability, good brush, no stickiness, you get beautiful lashes with a nice shape and no clumps. 🤩 Essence I love extreme curl & volume. The mascara itself is okay, gives volume, nice lashes but it doesn't really dry down. The brush is probably the biggest I've ever encountered, it's extreme, it's as big as a toilet brush and you almost brush blindly as it covers its field of vision.
