Cute, nostalgic, but... average
I admit without hesitation – I bought this lip mask solely out of nostalgia for Polly Pocket. The packaging is so cute, sweet, and nostalgic that I couldn't walk past it without noticing it. It's simply a cosmetic gadget dream for anyone who loved those little toys from childhood. When it comes to the effect – there's no WOW factor, but it doesn't do any harm either. It's a pleasant, light product for everyday use. It has a gentle and very pleasant scent, although it's a shame that it doesn't have even a subtle taste, because that's something I really love in lip products. Well... it is what it is. On the plus side: it actually holds up well on the lips and doesn't disappear after a minute. Plus, the applicator is really convenient and very helpful in applying the right amount of product – nothing spills and nothing is wasted. The cute packaging and nostalgic vibe won over common sense, but I don't regret the purchase. The product is okay – it doesn't wow, but it's comfortable and efficient to use and looks gorgeous in the makeup bag. Rosé Gold Hair
Or maybe rosé silver 😌 because the shade is quite cool. But pink shade anyway. I have continued to mix a little differently depending on where in the hair it should be applied. The underhair is quite dark blonde, so there I have more of the pink. In the overhair, I have more of beige blonde, and closest to the face, I have even more mixing. This time I tried to mix it with shampoo because I’ve heard it can be easier to distribute evenly that way. Yes, it was actually a bit easier to distribute (even though it feels wrong to mix shampoo and treatment 😅) I added a little bit of cacao intense this time so it wouldn’t become too red-pink. Cacao intense is very cool, so it gives that effect. I’m satisfied! Maybe it became a little too little pink in the front, but I enjoy being able to vary how much pink I want/don’t want to show, and it’s still more pink than if I hadn’t put anything in. I received this from #reviewclub to test and review. I have used this as an essence, so after toner and my serum afterwards. It said it would give the best effect. I like the packaging and one pipette is enough for the face. The gel becomes watery when you apply it, and the skin feels both hydrated and fuller, not as tired but fresh. Dry lips or not, I just couldn't help but test my Lipliner stain from Essence any longer 😜 Very nice tip, and as you can see, the shade is quite dark even though it's their lightest (number 1). I first outlined the edges and then filled in the whole lips by dragging the side of the tip over the lips. It felt like the best way to cover a lot quickly and save the tip a bit. Very nice color! Contrast or match?
Sometimes you want your eye color to "pop", but with green eyes, that means red/pink or purple as a contrast, and that's rarely my melody. I love nude colors, browns in both warm and cool shades. I'm weak for mauve. And I really like green, like the color on the eyes. Yes, the eye color might fade a bit, but sometimes it's also nice with harmony 🙂 I've used the green (the green fades easily in photos. In the sun, it can come out, but then it looks bright instead) to the left in the middle row, over the entire lid and then placed the color at the bottom in the middle over the lid and into the inner corner of the eye. I bought the gloss in the shade Watermelon and it looks as deliciously transparent on my lips, however, I thought it tasted like watermelon (without knowing what it was called 😅), so they did that well! Perfect color for blondes
Budget? Yes! Good? Yes! The glam factor on the packaging is zero (the lid reaches a new level of budget feel. In a bad way) and the brush is a bit too soft for my taste, but that’s where any concerns about this hair product end, and they actually don’t matter much at this price, so it gets full points here anyway! As a blonde, it’s an eternal quest to find brow colors that aren’t brown with red in them but are just cool in tone. I mostly use the Nyx brow pencil in the shade Taupe or their "brow pencil" that looks a bit like an eyeliner at the tip, but sometimes I might want to use a bit of shadow, and if nothing else, it’s good to have in reserve. Do I already have a reserve at home? Yep, but the lid is broken. This could be a replacement since I also think BOTH shades are usable. More “stuff”. Just for fun. With the weekend's cleaning in the makeup room in mind, this might not be exactly what I needed, but I was bored when I ordered it. Over two weeks ago. And now it has arrived 😄 These might not be revolutionary products, but the budget brand essence might have a hidden diamond or two, so I wanted to try something new. The last time I put on lashes was probably for New Year's, but one day I will get good at it, and now I have a glue for all the lashes I have but don’t put on (anyone relate to that? 😄) A bit of a random mousse foundation that is a bit too light for now and possibly a bit too dry for me… but we’ll see how it is with a bit of primer and other things. The brow powder looks the most promising! COLD colors for blondes who don’t want red-brown in their brows! A brush (you CAN’T have too many of those) and for many lip glosses, no one has ever died from either (unless you stepped on them and slipped possibly), so two different ones got to come along. I can’t find the powder from Catrice in the product list anymore, which is a shame because I’m a bit unclear about what I should use it for 😅 Some kind of semi-shimmering porcelain finish type.
