I prefer a thick gloss that looks shiny for several hours and moisturizes the lips without reapplying every five minutes. Since I already have my favorites, I’m a bit hard to impress when it comes to a new lip balm, but Rimmel’s lip gloss is truly a solid contender. It has a lighter texture than I prefer and gives a nice shine without being sticky. The color 001 LATTE DELIGHT is a very nice subtle neutral brown. The gloss lasts long for being a thin texture, but as I said, I prefer thicker lip balms that provide long-lasting shine. The scent of sweet vanilla is okay, I’ve experienced better vanilla scents but also worse. The packaging is very large for a lip balm, but it feels very durable. Something I was surprised to appreciate is the cap. It screws on quickly and feels sturdy; I don’t think it will crack like many other screw caps tend to do after a while. However, the applicator itself is a bit too big for my taste. This is probably a matter of preference, but I like a bit more precision, and the large applicator is almost bigger than my lip. I really like the packaging and the applicator. It reminds me a lot of Kylie Cosmetics Lip Butter, but this packaging is a bit bigger. I have tested many lip products over the years as it is my absolute favorite category when it comes to makeup😍 I think this feels smooth and nice on the lips, not sticky, and moisturizes as promised. You definitely need to apply it often, but that doesn’t bother me since I think it’s something you have to expect with any lip product because you eat, talk, drink, etc. during the day. It lives up to the description but I don’t think it’s unique in any way. When it comes to the color, Latte Delight has just a slight tint of a warmer brown color, so it’s not pigmented at all. I appreciate that in this type of lip product! The texture is neither too sticky nor too thin, the gloss feels nice on the lips. The shade 001 Latte Delight gives a nice, light, and not too warm brown tone. However, I would have wished for a bit more pigment since the color is quite transparent. The scent is sweet and vanilla-like, a bit nostalgic lip gloss scent. I like that it has nourishing properties from squalane and peptides! It reminds me of Paula’s Choice Pro-Collagen Peptide Gloss Balm, which I really like, but Rimmel’s version also has a bit of color and scent. I also think the applicator is easy to use. It has an incredibly buttery and comfortable formula that melts while moisturizing, is non-sticky, and has a sweet vanilla scent in all its products in this series. It has a unique applicator shape for the best application. 5% Squalane and peptides Squalane is a light, moisturizing lipid (fat) that mimics the skin’s natural sebum and suits all skin types, including sensitive and acne-prone skin. The substance is mostly derived from plants like olives or sugarcane. Peptides are building blocks, short chains of amino acids that act as the body’s own messengers. They are smaller versions of proteins (like collagen and elastin). They strengthen the skin barrier, increase elasticity, provide moisture, and can reduce fine lines. My opinion: Received it on 15/10 and use it daily because it’s so damn good and makes the lips extra juicy. Both in moisture and appearance. I prefer Rimmel over my other lip products that I have had for a very long time and have been my prioritized favorites. In everyday life, I don’t often wear makeup, and if I do, it’s very little since I work in industry. You are very active, and then it’s most comfortable to be without. But thanks to it not being so pigmented and moisturizing, I find it very pleasant to wear. I don’t have to reapply lip products often, and therefore it gets 10/10 from me.
