BBIA Comparison Test Complete 🍁🌧️
I have now finished testing Bbia mascaras (the blue fiber mascara and the red "regular"). Both are waterproof (and I really mean that 😌). I have used the blue for a long time and received the red one over the weekend. The photo is from this morning after application. I have worn the mascara (three layers of each) all day and even cried a little bit with them. In the video, I have already done the same water spray and rub technique once before, and the mascara is still on both eyes (left is the red and right is the blue). They are really hard to separate, these mascaras. I know from before that both require remover for waterproof mascara, but today I tested holding a cotton pad with warm water against the lashes for 10 seconds to see if it would disappear, but no! I have tested both while training, and the blue may lose length a little more than the red, but it definitely leaves no smudges. After removing the mascara from both eyes with my usual remover, my conclusion is that the red is actually a bit harder to remove than the blue. Quite marginal, but still. Along with the comparison of the appearance after three layers of each, I conclude that these two are very similar to each other in both feel and appearance. The red gives a little bit more volume and is a bit harder to remove (this may be related since more product that has accumulated on the lashes should be harder to remove). So you don’t need to rush to buy the other if you already have one… but if you like either of them and one is at a good price but not the other, you can buy the cheaper one 🤗. With my remover (which should be shaken before use), I have moistened a cotton pad, held it against the lashes for a few seconds, and then pulled/zick-zacked it from the underside of the roots up onto the lashes. No problems at all! The remover is cheap and sold everywhere. Best waterproof mascara and remover for it
Two hours of sweaty dance training and the mascara is right where it should be. I never have to worry with my Bbia mascara and I love it! I wish for a version with a bit more volume, but the advantage of the small brush is that you can (though not done today) use it on the lower lashes. It's so good that some find it hard to remove. I use my classic remover from Loreal and place the damp cotton pad against the lashes for a few seconds to loosen it up and then wipe it away. Dark glam 🖤
As promised, here are some pictures of the weekend's look, which was worn at a club in Stockholm 🖤 the lighting in the hotel room was TERRIBLE, so the pictures are unfortunately like that (and it wasn't easy to do makeup either, when you can't really see what you're doing 😅) I can definitely vouch for this foundation from #kvd, which in combination with the setting spray from #loreal held perfectly all night! The eyeshadow palette and lashes unfortunately don't seem to be available here anymore, but it's the Ultra Violet palette from #urbandecay and the lashes (which had to be trimmed a bit) are from #makeupstore ✨️ A huge thank you to the beautiful girl who came up and said hi because she recognized me from Instagram! So much can come from such a small gesture, it really warmed my heart! L'Oréal Paris Skin REVITALIFT VITAMIN C DUO
I have tested many vitamin C serums and can really recommend L'Oréal's vitamin C serum. The price is super good for what you get🍊12% pure vitamin C (ascorbic acid) along with salicylic acid that reduces pore size. It has a nice watery consistency and absorbs quickly without leaving a sticky feeling. I also haven't had any issues with it interacting with other products or irritating the skin. Perfect to combine with the sunscreen in the same series (daily UVA fluid). The sunscreen leaves no visible traces and is one of my top chemical sunscreens. Both products smell good and can be used together without any problems. Loreal Casting Crème Gloss 515
About two years ago, I had to cut all my hair off due to illness. I am so happy with how much it has grown since then! But now I felt it was time for a new color. ☺️ My starting point was natural, light brown ash. It looks lighter in daylight, but I am level 6, and often I look like level 5 (my profile picture for example). I was tempted by "Mushroom brown", but it was hard to get it to work at home. So I decided to go back to a semi-permanent color that I have used before - Loreal Casting Crème Gloss! I chose 515 Iced Chocolate, which is an ashy mahogany. I wanted to keep an ashy undertone but with a touch of red. For those who don’t know, the numbers reveal the color. The first number is how dark/light the color is (5=Light Brown), the second number is the shade (1=Ash) and the last is the secondary shade (5=Mahogany). My hair turned out redder than expected, especially in certain lights, but it will tone down after a few washes. I will probably also use a color bomb to adjust the shade a bit, but overall I am very satisfied! 🥰 In the picture, you can see my hair before and after coloring! Security🫶🏼 A whole day at work, two hours of training and not a single dot or panda marks around the eyes. The mascara may have lost a few mm in length during the training, but that doesn't bother me since it just disappears and doesn't leave marks either over or under the eye. Styling without seeing
I pampered myself with the fine hair mask from Shu Uemura yesterday. The vacation hair really soaked it up and felt much softer and fuller afterwards ❤️ While I was waiting for time to pass so I could meet up with the girls, I sat on the couch watching Dexter and curling my hair with the airwrap. Sometimes I’m super organized and section my hair with hair clips when I curl, and sometimes I don’t even see what I’m doing, like yesterday 😅 But it rarely turns out worse in the end, rather more lively. 2024's best new!
Honestly, I've probably never been this satisfied with my hair care products as I am this year, and it largely depends on several of my new friends in the bathroom. I use more products than these (of course), but now we're going with the ones that are new for me this year! 🌟 I won the entire bonding series with Grazette XL here, and the whole series has really suited my hair very well, and talk about value!! You’ll have to settle for one of the products in the photo 🌟 However, I can't find that series here, has it stopped being sold?? LYKO 🌟 The mousse from Bed Head TIGI 😍 Perfect for when I want to enhance my natural waves AND it has heat protection. LOVE! 🌟 The oil from Kerastase. With refill. So, a HUGE thank you to Lyko for letting me try it. It has everything I want in a hair oil🥩 🌟 Is there good hair care at ICA? Yep!! L’Oréal’s very accessible bonding series is also REALLY good! I’ve skipped the shampoo step, but the conditioner and serum/leave-in deliver results all on their own! Don’t be fooled by the price tag, this is good stuff! 🌟 Last but not least comes the product that you also hoped not to be fooled by the price tag on… but on the other hand 😂💸 I’ve already praised this enough both here and there. For my hair type, it’s absolutely perfect to use now and then as an extra boost.
