As a Lyko test pilot, I've had the chance to try some lip products from Clarins. Their Lip Comfort Oil 04 Pitaya caught my attention right away. It gives a lot of shine in an elegant way. The lips look fuller and more prominent without feeling too much. I have quite a strong visual presence in my face and find that most lip products almost disappear on me, but this one actually shows. 04 Pitaya has just the right amount of depth in color to lift the lips and bring more life to the face without the color taking over the rest of the makeup. I also like the large applicator. You get a good amount of product and can cover the lips quickly. The texture is quite heavy, which I think is especially nice now during autumn. It feels enveloping and protective but not sticky at all. More like the lips are wrapped in a soft, glossy layer that feels really luxurious. Nice but doesn't last long
This product promises from Urban Decay that it should last all day, so I had high expectations. Otherwise, I wouldn't have it since it's a lip oil. This disappears quickly for me, already after an hour it's completely gone. Lip products from Fenty Beauty or Maybelline New York last much better. 💄 It's a shame it doesn't last longer since the color itself is very nice. 🤎 The product feels moisturizing and pleasant on the lips. It also smells really good. 🤍 The packaging is practical as it's a tube that's easy to use. Glossy lips + care in the same product 💕🌿
Color= Mulberry! I love products that sit somewhere between makeup and skincare. And this one gives the lips an incredibly beautiful rose-toned color that is visible but still transparent enough for the result to look natural. That makes it very easy to use for everyday wear, also without lip liner or other lip makeup. At the same time, it gives lots of shine and makes the lips look fuller and really juicy. ✨ The texture reminds me of a mix between lip oil and gloss. It has the nice high-gloss finish of a gloss but feels more nourishing and comfortable on the lips. I especially like that it doesn’t feel heavy or extremely sticky. 🌿 And the ingredients are a big plus: 100% of the ingredients are of natural origin, of which 37.9% are organic. The formula is also vegan. I find that especially positive in a product I use directly on my lips several times a day. I also like that this is a product I can use in several ways. Alone it gives a very simple and fresh result, but it’s also nice over a lip liner if I want a bit more definition. Mulberry has become a color I can just throw on without thinking too much about the rest of my makeup. Disappointed ~ hard to work with and drying 👎
I really hoped for more from this gloss, but unfortunately it was a big disappointment. • Application: It’s a struggle to get any product on the applicator! You have to dip and swipe countless times just to get a somewhat decent layer on the lips. Very time-consuming and frustrating. • Feeling on the lips: Instead of moisturizing, it feels dry and almost like it’s sucking all the moisture out of the lips. Not at all the soft, glossy finish you want. My tip: Skip the Boss Gloss and go for By Lykos Lip Oils instead! Spring fresh
Spring is in the air! Looking forward to warmer weather soon 😍🌸 I tested and used a few different products today. Some better than others! Liked all the LYKO products (which are in the picture). The lip oil doesn’t last very long but it’s nice. The skin stick in Candygasm is really pretty. 🩷🌸 Dermosil foot scrub is amazing. Cleans the feet before summer. But their face mask... gave me red spots on my face. It’s been a long time since I had such a reaction, so my skin didn’t like it. 🩵 Body lotion from Glöd Sophie Elise smells good but moisturizes just okay. Not quite enough for my drier skin, but if you have more normal skin it probably works well. 🧡 Marie-Stella-Maris body mist smells fresh. However, I prefer Sol de Janeiro even more 🙈 Love the cleansing from anua and Hickap grippy primer works really well for me. Today I used these two DASHL products. This blush caught my attention because of the color, so I bought it to try it since I didn't have any blush in that shade.
