"Opalescent" Cream Highlighter
Rose Inc's cream highlighter comes just like the blush in a small flat case with a magnetic lid and mirror. The case is shaped like a toilet seat🚽😀 Easy to open and sturdy, it's easy to carry. Contains 5 g. Described as "velvety smooth" and with skin-caring ingredients, it should last 6 months after opening. Sure, it's easy to use but maybe not velvety smooth... not on my dry skin at least😃 My sample is now over a year old and still in good condition👏 so the durability is good👍 It also claims to give a natural result without glitter, and that's true👍 "Opalescent" is described by the brand as a "Cool pink", i.e. a cool pink, and it's the only cool one they have. It looks fairly cool in a natural way on Rose Inc's own pictures. I, who have very fair skin with a cool undertone, was happy and bought it! Unfortunately, the shade description was not very accurate🤥 At first, I thought I got the wrong shade but that was not the case😕 It's simply misdescribed! According to the website Temptalia, which tests thousands of makeup products and takes its own pictures, this is a "light pink with warmer undertones", and that's unfortunately a perfect description – too bad I didn't check before buying😬 ➕️Natural result. ➕️Firm formula, doesn't get smudgy from heat. ➕️Long-lasting. ➕️Fragrance-free, cf🐇🐁🐒 and vegan🌱 ➕️Made in the USA. ➕️Economical. ➖️Warm – description is inaccurate. ➖️Expensive. All in all, it's disappointing that the brand consistently has incorrect shade descriptions AND misleading pictures (see also my review of the blush in the shade "Camellia"). It's also not great that all their 5 highlighters are warm including the so-called "cool" one! – I myself look dirty in warm shades so I can really only use this in summer when I'm about half a shade darker than usual (and in reality, I'm paler and cooler than in the photo because my camera takes too dark and yellow cards👎😄). Pigment-rich cream rouge with fine ingredients
Rose Inc's combined cream rouge/lip color comes in a small flat container resembling a toilet seat lid 🚽😅 Easy to open and with a mirror, it's perfect to take with you👍 Contains 4.5 g. Lasts 12 months after opening. The color "Camellia" is described by the brand as a "Mauve." As everyone knows, that can mean just about anything – both cool and warm😃 Usually considered a somewhat cooler shade. I have very fair skin with a cool undertone🧊 In summer, I get half a shade darker😉 This one looks fairly cool in the product photos, a bit like a muted lilac-pink. Gives a natural result without glitter! The site Temptalia, which tests thousands of makeup products and is great at indicating the right shade with its own photos, says about "Camellia" "Slightly warm-toned light-medium pink with a satin finish," so a warm pink, and that fits better (unfortunately)🤥 Unfortunately, I didn’t read that before I bought it🙄 ➕️ Super fine, skin-caring ingredients. No cheap silicones! ➕️ Cruelty free and vegan. ➕️ Fragrance-free. ➕️ Mainly made in Italy. ➕️ Very pigment-rich = economical🤑 ➕️ Easy to apply with fingers, especially in summer when the product is softer. ➕️ Practical, easy-to-open packaging that DOES NOT crack. ➕️ Refill available. ➕️ Lasts much longer than stated – mine is in its second year. ➖️ Very firm texture when cold. ➖️ Warmer than in the official pictures. Becomes clearly warm on me, so I can only wear it in summer. Because of that, it’s not the most flattering shade for me😉, so I only use a little! Also don’t want it on my lips for the same reason (in the photo I’m wearing a YSL product). Better official photos from Rose Inc are needed, and that applies to the whole range! ➖️ Expensive. The post was made 3 weeks#projectpan May/June 2026➡️ = THE ART OF FINISHING FOREVER MAKEUP💄💅😁 This summer I chose some different makeup products to work on more than in winter😊 for my #projectpan - it’s easy to get tired of having the same stuff otherwise😉 Makeup about 2 times a week due to physical illness that among other things causes weak arms, but the lips get color almost always👄 In #projectpan, which lovely Malin #malinadenfina started here on Social, it’s about choosing some makeup you try to finish, sometimes by using it in a new way like lipstick as blush. Great exercise for us beauty hoarders👝🛍😁 - I have very fair skin with a cool🧊 undertone and use quite a bit of organic🌱 makeup that is not animal tested🐇🐁🐕🐒 Some of it has been available at Lyko. In the second picture, the crossed-out is finally finished (a huge powder I’ve had for probably 7 years) oh, also see #empties and #empties2026 MAKEUP😀 💄The oldest product this round is the German organic brand Nui Cosmetics that Lyko once had🤥: Illusion cream eyeshadow "Hukarere" - a white-silver cream eyeshadow that I use as a highlighter (it’s not visible on my fair skin on the eyes). Hope to finish it this year! 💄Hiro Cosmetics Mineral foundation spf 25 in "Soft Silk", German organic makeup as well🌱 It’s incredibly economical🤑 Have about half left. 💄Absolution Christophe Danaud Le Multicorrecteur "201" - superb apricot/peach colored corrector for my blue circles under the eyes👁👁 from the French luxury brand Absolution😊 💄Isadora Perfect Contour kajal "39 Deep Grey", my extremely waterproof favorite eyeliner in dark, cool gray👍 Discontinued a few years ago, so this is my last pencil (had 5)! Usually use it together with 💄Benecos Kajal "Grey" which is NOT waterproof but super nice dark gray👍 💄Catrice Butter drippin’ glossy lip balm "030 Butter Together" came out last year, has of course been discontinued. Should last 1/2 year after opening. Mine is now almost 1 1/2 years old🎂😃 and works perfectly👍 Gives a luxurious impression for a very cheap price🤑 Tastes like candy🍬🥰 Of course I use much more than this, about 30 other products loosely counted😉 but I just want to include a few so I don’t lose the desire😁 #projectpan 2026 #empties2026

The post was made 1 month#empties2026 MAKEUP 💄Jan⛄️-April🌱 I’ve managed to finish quite a bit of makeup over the winter and spring💅👍😃 Due to illness, I don’t have the energy to put on makeup as often as I want, but I’m trying to work on the oldest😊 and yes, all my products are now date-marked so I can really see how old everything is🙄 for better or worse☺️ I also have quite a large collection! I’m 56, look much younger according to those around me, and have very light, porcelain-pale skin with a cool undertone, so here you only see cool🧊 shades😄 Much of my makeup is also organic🌱 I count brow products and perfumes as makeup! 💄Estelle & Thild’s Biomineral healthy glow foundation was super comfortable but at least one shade too dark even though I had the lightest and coolest🤥 = the eternal fate of the lightest! 💄Rose Inc Concealer LX10 had plenty left but smelled bad after a year (so I got 6 months bonus because it’s organic, lacks conventional preservatives, and is only supposed to last 6 months). The shade was good! 💄Artdeco All in one waterproof mascara was probably a dry Monday sample, unfortunately, because it barely gave any color at all🤔👎 💄Inika Long lash mascara gave super long lashes👍 💄Lenoites Eyelash activating serum is my favorite serum that brought back the long, dense lashes of youth (yes, they get shorter, fewer, and less pigmented with age, fun right?) so I’ve repurchased it👍 💄Pixi by Petra Brow Tamer - clear brow gel that didn’t tame my stubborn brows for more than a couple of hours😄 💄PÜR COSMETICS On point tint creamy eyeshadow & primer in "Cashmere" unfortunately stung my eyelids and the shade was way too warm on me👎 💄Hynt Beauty Finale finishing powder "Translucent" - the finest loose powder I’ve had👍 Super comfortable and probably lasted 6 years (huge jar)🤑 💄Laura Mercier Caviar Stick eye colour "Kiss from a rose" was super pretty and so easy to use🌹👍 Of course, the shade was limited edition🤥 💄Lily Lolo Pressed blush "In the pink" had changed color after 6+ years and the cool neutral shade had become warm so I bought a new, cool one😊 💄Isadora Perfect contour kajal waterproof 39 "Deep Grey" has been my favorite eyeliner for 10 years because it’s icy dark grey and stays put like a rock and handles tears, pollen, and rain👍😄 💄Depend Nail polish glitter polish was super pretty but had hardened beyond saving after a few years. 💄The 7 virtues "Vanilla Woods" - one of my absolute favorite vanilla scents👃👍 so I later bought it in a bottle (because I only had 10 perfumes😉). Camellia🌺 is a wonderful ingredient for dry, slightly sensitive skin. 👌Patchologys Serve chilled rosé eye gels fit really well besides being good (but insanely expensive💸). 👌Purederm Petal Waltz under eye mask Rose is so good that I wish they came in a jar🌹😊 👌PuroBio No stress hair mask - organic🌱 hair treatment from Italian PuroBio that lasted a whole 4 g👍🤑 and was great for my winter/spring tired hair! 👌Bangerhead Fast forward hair mask is perfect for my Nordic fine, slippery, flat hair because it doesn’t make it greasy👍 👌Hair Belief Got the blues silver conditioner - silicone-free candy-scented silver conditioner that of course has been discontinued😬 👌Sisley Sisleÿa L’Integral anti age eye and lip contour cream I would buy again IF it didn’t cost around 2000😉🤥 (my little tube was included in a bonus kit from Sisley). 👌Indy Beauty Milky Silky calming cleansing lotion - very nice unscented cleansing milk☺️ 👌Zoya goes pretty Bulgarian rose toner - organic🌱 facial water with rose🌹, so mild and beneficial👍 👌Milk Touch Phyto Mucin intense deep moisture serum - super nice, milky moisture serum with a plant-based equivalent to snail slime👍 for those of us who don’t like 🐌 👌Mádara Retinol alternative plant-powered eye serum is so good organic🌱 and DOES NOT irritate! (Yes, the wallet feels irritated after purchase💸😉). 👌Maria Åkerberg Hand cream - the easily absorbed organic🌱 hand cream that heals my husband’s eczema hands with, among other things, marigold🌼 👌Emma S Deodorant Soft colour antiperspirant is a super good mildly scented antiperspirant for us heavy sweaters👍 🤔OK - BUT MAY NOT BUY AGAIN🤔 🤔Dermosil Facial oil smells citrus = migraine trigger but otherwise ok. 🤔Dermosil Night cream shea - unscented night cream that was extra nice during winter and spring. 🤔Skin 1004 Light cleansing oil also smelled citrus👎 but cleansed ok though I prefer cleansing balm due to spill risk with liquids. 🤔Sephora Cleansing scalp scrub was very coarse but not very effective🙄 🧴SAMPLES THAT (DID NOT) TEMPT TO BUY🧴 🧴Sisley Black rose precious face oil I would gladly buy if it didn’t cost more than 2000 kr🤥😁 🧴Novexpert Protective Rich cream is and remains my organic favorite cream for the cold months but is no longer available in Sweden🤥👎 🧴L’Oréal Bright reveal dark spot UV-fluid spf 50 was nice in the t-zone but doesn’t suit the rest of my face (too dry skin). 🧴I+M Naturkosmetik Crème de la crème is nice for mature skin but unfortunately I don’t like the scent👃 Love many of their other face products! 🧴Dermalogica Skin smoothing cream was nothing particularly memorable😁 Thanks to lovely Malin Malinadenfina who started #empties and #projectpan here on Social so that we beauty hoarders train ourselves to use up our many beauty purchases🧴🧴🧴, sometimes in new ways, before we buy new finds🛍😊 Sometimes it works😁😉 #empties2026 May
