    Waterproof, midnight blue mascara!

As someone very fair with a cool undertone, I love cool dark blue mascara = flattering for skin and eye color👍☺ and it is now HARD to find😒 Here we have one! This is a really nice, waterproof mascara that lengthens the lashes a bit (they will probably get longer if you have short lashes) and gives them a beautiful dark, cool blue tone! They also become soft and flexible due to silk protein - no stiff spider legs here👏🏻 I have had even darker and thus prettier midnight blue mascara from various brands, including Jane Iredale, which unfortunately has been discontinued, but this one is so good that I can easily imagine buying it again☺ Mine was opened in January and still works just as well👍 (No, I really don’t change mascara every three months - that’s not necessary if you are hygienic). Unfragranced, does not irritate. Does not smudge and holds well. Works even on the lower lashes without clumping. Works well if you, like me, want a fairly natural result since it does not provide volume. I always use a special eye makeup remover for waterproof makeup, and it easily removed this. Micellar water does not work since it is, as mentioned, waterproof! I have long, but straight lashes. I curl them with an eyelash curler before mascara, but due to age, I have developed droopy eyelids on my deep-set eyes, causing the lashes to be pressed down from above where they hit, which now removes the curl after a few hours. This applies to all mascaras, so also this one, so it’s not something I judge anymore! Made in Switzerland. Mavala is cruelty-free = does not test on animals🐇🐒🐀👏🏻 I give it 4 solid stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐ #lykoreview

    #empties2025 June - unusually little🧴🧴🧴😊

I've never had such a small amount of beauty trash since I jumped on #empties and #projectpan here on Lyko a few years ago😉 Malin #malinadenfina who started both on Lyko would probably be satisfied☺ As usual, no linking from my side as it usually gets the post deleted🤥 Among the favorites are things I've bought multiple times and can imagine buying again, and most of them I've reviewed. 👌FAVORITES👌 👌Barulabs sheet mask with hyaluronic acid💦 Super nice! 👌Four reason Color conditioner - candy-scented good conditioner for colored hair that I use for my uncolored hair with bleached highlights! 👌By Wishtrend Mandelic 5% skin preparatory water - mild acid peeling in liquid form. 👌Eco Cosmetics Lip care - best balm👏🏻 Is also organic🌱👍 👌Tocobo Bio watery sun cream - very light, thin sunscreen with SPF 50, good for faces that sweat easily in the heat, like mine☺ 👌Bubble T's various eye masks - very nice and good. 🤔OK BUT MAYBE WON'T BUY AGAIN🤔 🤔Sachajuan Anti-pollution shampoo - ok but didn't suit my oily scalp so I gave it to my husband who it suited better. 🤔Glam of Sweden Collagen eye mask - ok but didn't do much good. 🤔Etude Collagen eye patch - ditto. 🧴SAMPLES THAT TEMPT TO BUY🧴 🧴Doctor Babor Hydro filler serum and 🧴Medik8 Hydra B5 Intense were both equally lovely, plump moisture serums that are both way too expensive for me💸 That was June's sticky beauty trash🛍☺ I have a feeling there will be much more in July🙄😄 #empties2025 July #malinadenfina

Susann Gerd Marianne Thank you, so nice to hear🥰 The mask isn't available here, I got it in an advent calendar but you can find it if you google! The sunscreen felt light and nice when you get warm and it's available here😊

Sits well, but gives zero volume

I have tested the Sweeds Cloud mascara in black about 10-15 times but am now giving up! Either mine had dried out in the unopened packaging, as it had been sitting for a while due to too many mascaras😉 (I think I got it in a box or a calendar) or I got a Monday model because I don't recognize my experience at all in everyone else's reviews🤔 Unfortunately. My lashes, which are quite long but straight, look so much better with almost all other mascaras🤥 Quite large, voluminous packaging with outer box. The mascara has a silicone brush with short bristles. ➕Generous amount: 12 ml. ➕Fragrance-free. Does not irritate. ➕Gives good length to the lashes ➕Almost waterproof! Handles watery eyes, hooded eyes, and light rain without smudging at all. ➕Swedish brand that is cruelty-free, meaning it does not test on animals🐇🐀🐒 ➕Vegan🌿, meaning it contains nothing from the animal world. ➕Good ingredients overall. ➕Country of manufacture: Germany. ➖Zero volume and fullness. ➖Stiff, dry, spiky lashes. ➖Brush design. ➖Contains Phenoxyethanol, a controversial preservative that can cause irritation. Gives it 3 slightly tired stars😄 ⭐⭐⭐ #lykoreview

Sofie Yes, I feel like I'm clearly in the minority here, but it really gave zero volume and was so dry and dull🤥 Unbelievable for that price😁

    Pleasant and Long-lasting

Soft and nice cream with almost non-existent, very discreet scent of the ingredients, which then disappears completely. I have very dry and thin, slightly sensitive skin that requires a lot of fat and moisture, but in the summer I can use some lighter products. I've been using this since May and have about 1/3 left, so it's long-lasting👍🤑 I also use moisture serum and vitamin C serum during the day and creamy anti-aging serum in the evening before cream, so it makes the skin reasonably saturated already before cream, otherwise it would require more👍 ➕Affordable: You get a whole 70 ml! Normally it's 30-50 ml in face cream. In the photo, you can see how much I use for my face, neck, and décolletage. ➕Lovely with all the moisturizing ceramides. ➖I could do without the silicone as my dry skin sometimes gets clogged by it, and it does no good for the skin. I also think that silicone can make it harder for other products to be absorbed, like sunscreen or facial oil, and I noticed that after a while when I got a few small "bumps" on my forehead and nose🤥 Will not repurchase but am curious about Torriden's other products, like the hyaluronic acid serum💦 I give it a 4 rating. Would have been a 5 if it didn't contain silicone! ⭐⭐⭐⭐ #lykoreview

ElliR Yes, many don't care about what's in it, and you really don't have to, but I actively try to avoid silicone, which gives me small bumps, colorants (unnecessary), strong perfume (gives me migraines and my husband asthma)) and coconut oil (always gives me pimples)☺ I also try to buy cruelty-free and that it's not made in China🙂

    #empties2025 May 🛍

Here come my latest beauty trash, once again late due to all the hassle in the app and on the website. The app just deleted the entire post👎 even this month🤯 so I'm now trying via the website😶 👌FAVORITES👌 Here are old and new favorites. I’m NOT linking as it also leads to the deletion of the post, don’t ask me why🤔 I’ll list some, the rest will hopefully be visible in the photo🙂 👌Makeup revolution Salicylic shampoo - light, deep cleansing shampoo with tea tree and salicylic acid for oily hair. Nice👍 👌Yves Rocher Bourbon Vanilla body lotion - SO good, economical and cheap body cream with lovely bourbon vanilla😋 👌Mádara Deep moisture nourish cream - organic🌱 day cream for dry skin. Love💜! 👌Loelle argan oil - best facial oil for dry skin👍 Swedish and organic👏🏻 It’s only in summer that I use a lighter oil, like rose oil or rosehip seed oil. 👌Novexperts micellar water is the best I’ve ever had for my dry skin! Unfortunately, this wonderful French organic brand has now disappeared from the Swedish market👎 so I’ll have to use Google Translate to buy directly from the brand going forward😟😁 👌Neal's Yard Wild rose hand cream. British organic that unfortunately has also stopped selling to Sweden👎 All my favorites are disappearing🤥👎👎👎 👌Bondi Sands Sweet Dreams is a hyaluronic acid-filled night cream that I should have saved for summer because it was too rich for my dry skin during spring/winter. 👌Maria Åkerberg Nail & Cuticle oil - best nail oil but also the one with the worst smell that gives me headaches😟 and sometimes nausea. 👌Maria Åkerberg Hand cream - simple but healing day hand cream. 👌Coola Sun silk drops spf 30 - illuminating, super nice organic sunscreen perfect for the cold and wind of spring/winter! Of course, it’s now discontinued at Lyko👎 👌Kocostar Waffle mask Maple = easiest possible gentle acid treatment👏🏻 The mask in sugar maple extract = AHA acid and is incredibly nice, not the least bit irritating🙂 👌Klairs Rich moist soothing tencel mask provides moisture and contains several ceramides that nourish etc.👍 Perfect for dry skin/dry skin that is irritated👏🏻 🤔OK - BUT MAYBE WON'T BUY AGAIN🤔 🤔REF Ocean mist - terrible spray function but ok salt spray. 🤔Essence cuticle cream with apricot scent🍑 Came in their advent calendar. 🤔Kocostar Princess eye patch silver is actually very good but was too old when it arrived (NOT from Lyko) and therefore had practically no effect👎 🧴SAMPLES THAT DON'T/AREN'T TEMPTING TO BUY🧴 🧴I'M NATURKOSMETIK Clean beauty rosehip moisturizing cream was super nice. This German organic brand🌱 has SO good products👏🏻 🧴Isntree Hyaluronic acid watery sun gel spf 50 was a very pleasant, light sunscreen that suited my heat-sensitive and lightly sweating face very well👍 🧴Comfort Zone Remedy defense face cream - zero effect and nutrient-poor. 🧴It Cosmetics CC cream "Light" was extremely dark and absolutely NOT for me (see review)😉 ⛔NO - NOT FOR ME⛔ ⛔Murad Rapid dark spot correcting serum gave ZERO positive effect but gladly eczema👎 Hope the website and app get their act together soon, like for June's #empties Liiite tiring to always have to redo the post at least once🙄 It’s otherwise o/interesting to see how many beauty products you go through as a beauty hoarder👝🧴🧼🛍 Thanks to Malin #malinadenfina who started this here on Lyko social🙏💜 #empties2025 May

Thanks, Anna🙏☺ Yes, I've had Mádara's cream for many years now, also the night cream, the same with the Kocostarmask👍 I think YR has reformulated the vanilla series now but haven't tested anything from the new one😁 - yet😉

    Dark, perfumed, and yellow!

I have very dry, light skin with a cool undertone and therefore have a hard time finding both good foundation and BB-/CC cream. Since Erborian has been praised for many years, I decided to try it in the lightest shade "Claire" (French for "light"). It was super fun😉 The cream is white in the tube, and the color appears after application. I tried it on my neck and décolletage first. The strong perfume that lasted all day was not a fun discovery, nor was the yellow and quite dark tone or the matte consistency. Thanks to these factors, the cream never made it to my face🤥 The fact is that I have to dilute it with 3/4 sunscreen to 1/4 Erborian to not become too orange, and that wasn't really what I had in mind🙄 ➕ Blends easily with any sunscreen or day cream. ➕ Does not irritate the skin. ➖ Strong perfume. ➖ Way too dark to be called "light". - It looks significantly darker in reality than in the photo. - ➖ Too yellow for me. ➖ Matte - not pretty on dry skin. Gives it two pale stars. ⭐⭐ #lykoreview

Too strong acid product for me

I’ve had a small test bottle of 5 ml (!) of this AHA serum for almost a year, it suited my dry, thin, slightly sensitive skin so poorly😊 It was economical on one side🤑 but on the other side, I haven’t seen any effect from it, so it feels like an unnecessary acid product for me afterwards🙂 Pretty thin, sour/strong smelling gel with both glycolic acid and tranexamic acid that theoretically should work on brown spots and impurities and can also be applied morning and/or evening. I could only use it MAX once a week on my neck and décolletage, and even that was too much in winter and caused eczema🤥👎 so not much exfoliation happened🙄 Haven’t seen any results at all, so I’m glad to be rid of this product from my overcrowded bathroom cabinet😁 Lucky I didn’t like it considering the price💸💸💸😉 ⭐⭐ #lykoreview

Shade for very light skin with cool undertone?

Hi, Which shade corresponds to Nars "Oslo" (Sheer Glow Foundation) i.e. cool undertone and very light skin? On Shiseido's own shade chart, the very lightest "110 Alabaster" is shown on a model with warm undertone. On their own website, I tested and it turned out to be 150 Lace. Is none of the lighter ones cool in tone??? I think it will be too dark for me.

    Pretty okay lip pencil

I use number 67, a pretty ugly piggy pink shade, as an invisible lip contour under a certain light red lipstick that is very creamy and needs a little extra hold from underneath😊 On me with naturally red lips, that shade doesn't show up👍 I appreciate that it's an unscented, regular sharpener, economical pencil 👍 Not too creamy, not dry. I give it 4 solid stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ #lykoreview

Shades in order depending on how light they are

Asked Tromborg themselves about the order. "Ivory" is the lightest, then comes "Vanilla'. See attached screenshot of the email!
