Eye mask for tired eyes and a thin wallet🤑
These eye masks were much better than I expected! I was looking for some with caffeine that reduce stubborn eye puffiness and found these👀☕️ from essence. Thicker than many others, they still sat well on the skin and stayed on throughout breakfast! They reduced a good amount of the puffiness but weren’t very moisturizing🤥 for my dry skin, so a good eye cream is needed afterward for me. For the price, they were surprisingly good as I said😊 (Unfortunately, I forgot to take a photo of how they looked – I’m a morning person😴). Contains among other things centella asiatica, green tea🍵, licorice root, chamomile🌼, and hyaluronic acid💦 = nice ingredients! Lovely but expensive!
These delicious eye masks from the French organic luxury brand Patyka are basically unique in their design: they cover the WHOLE eye area! All of us who struggle with puffiness there know that it’s just as often swollen on the sides and above as under the eyes👀🤥 I got this due to physical illness and since I’m also blessed with thin, sensitive eye skin, I can’t tolerate all eye masks. These are made of thin hydrogel, do NOT fall off in your breakfast cereal - the fit is superb👏 They contain, among other things, naturally produced hyaluronic acid, i.e. NOT from rooster combs, oat polysaccharides, something completely incomprehensible like corn phytoglycogens🤔😁 and oat extract. Oats are always good for sensitive skin! So these are very gentle, contain no added perfume but smell faintly of honey from the ingredients. The result could be better... especially on the puffiness under the eyes. I have tested them on a few different occasions: at the beginning of summer and now. IF they had given an even better result under the eyes, I could actually consider continuing with these occasionally despite the price, but not as it is now. In the photos, I have no skincare and no makeup, just got up and only carry the ugly yellow dark skin tone that my new mean camera insists on🙄😃 In the photo with shorter hair, I applied a white filter that actually makes me look more like my real self (yes, I am very pale😉). Recommended for you who don’t have much puffiness and want to treat yourself to a super luxurious eye treatment with a cruelty free, organic brand😊 (Dr. Dennis Gross has similar eye masks, but even more expensive💸😁) They get 3 eyes/stars from me! 👁👁👁 #lykoreview1 product in post Lovely but expensive! - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Wonderful rice mask for tired, dry skin!
I've probably tried over 50 different sheet masks in the last 8 years. With dry, thin, slightly sensitive skin, I rarely give any a full score😊 This one gets it though, even though it has niacinamide, which my skin isn't always so keen on! Milky, smooth serum, very good fit for a change (most Korean masks are made for wide faces with low foreheads, but not this one) it was super comfortable👏 Rice extract both softens, makes the skin more elastic, has an invigorating and brightening effect on dry, dull skin, can have a lightening effect on dark spots over time, and has a temporary pore-tightening, firming effect that felt natural👍 I didn't notice the niacinamide, otherwise I can get irritated red spots from it. Squalane contributes to the softening effect and hyaluronic acid to the moisturizing💦 A top mask for me and goes straight into my favorites😃 This fall I will try the facial toner and serum in the same series! Slippery sunscreen ever😬
This exact sunscreen version from Frudia with the misleading name "Velvet fit blurring sun primer" is supposed to be a so-called blurring primer, meaning it should work as a blurred base before foundation and give a velvety surface. I don’t have particularly large pores, although they have suddenly become visible with age, but I thought it could be practical if the sunscreen could tone them down a bit. However, I was skeptical even before trying it, and now after struggling through the entire small 40g tube, I think it can be considered proven that it does not live up to its name😁 I have used it on face, neck, and décolleté, a few times with foundation on top, mostly not since I rarely use it. I have used my usual skincare underneath and once skipped day cream in the T-zone as a test. No major difference🙄 ✔️First and foremost, this is not a product that gives any velvety result because it never absorbs. The skin becomes terribly silicone-slick! A real silicone primer gives a COMPLETELY different result. ✔️Secondly, the pores are rather emphasized than blurred. ✔️Thirdly, you can’t wear foundation on top of it because the skin becomes greasy and shiny for about 3-4 hours. Keep in mind that I basically have dry skin. How does it work for someone with oily skin??? See the pictures for my slippery experience! NOTE! I put a white filter on the first picture because I wanted ONE picture that actually shows how I look. Unfortunately, my new phone makes me look darker, yellower, browner than in reality + also gives red-flushed skin and yellow hair😬 So, no, there will be no repurchase of this primer sunscreen. Meh - stings
I bought these before a move to have them when the rest of the bathroom cabinet was packed up. Each pad has a slightly smoother side and one with a bit coarser pattern. Unfortunately, they stung my eyelids right from the start and kept doing so, so for me they were not a hit. They removed makeup okay – obviously not waterproof, but the rest. Since I have thin and a bit sensitive skin, these didn’t feel very soft either even though I only used the softest side. Delightfully fragrant creamy body butter
This smells so wonderfully fruity! I don’t know exactly how guava smells or tastes, but I immediately thought of mango and papaya🥭 when I opened the jar😋. Extra lovely now in the summer! The cream is wonderfully thick, creamy🧁, and firm in texture, but not so greasy that I get sticky, though I do have quite dry skin! Natural ingredients. American Petal Fresh is cruelty free🐇🐀🐺 and vegan. Big and generous jar!
