The post was made 6 days💋 Today's lip combo A little lip combination I really like right now 🤎 All I Am Beauty Perfect Lip Pencil, Deep Nude + Estelle & Thild Dewy Dawn Lip Oil in the color mulberry. The post was made 2 weeks✨ My Kérastase era begins now My hair care routine has long been mostly L’Oréal, and I have actually been very happy with much of what I’ve used. But now I got curious if I could take my hair care a step further, so I’ve started sneaking a bit more Kérastase into the routine. Right now I’m testing: 🩷 Kérastase Genesis shampoo & conditioner, in a smaller size first, so I can really feel it out before possibly buying full size. ✨ Genesis Serum Anti-Chute Fortifiant, I’ve already been using this for a while and will continue to follow it over a longer time. 🤍 Gloss Absolu mask, looking forward to trying something from that line as well Besides L’Oréal, I’ve also used Redken Cleansing Cream, which I still have in the routine. So now my little Kérastase era begins 🥰 I’m not going to decide after the first wash, but actually give the products time and see how they work together on my fine, slightly frizzy hair. One bottle, four uses. Now I get the hype!
The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner ✨ This is truly one of those products where after a while I understand why it’s so talked about. I actually use it in several different ways and it’s a versatile product! ✨ On the face: about once a week I use it as an exfoliant. The skin feels smoother afterwards and above all I get that nice, fresh glow that I love. ✨ On the upper arms: I use it against bumps/keratosis pilaris and find that the skin becomes noticeably more even and smoother when I use it regularly. It hasn’t magically removed everything, but the difference is definitely noticeable. ✨ On the heels: here it’s almost ridiculously good! I use it as an exfoliant and then follow up with a rich foot cream and the heels become really smooth and soft. ✨ On the scalp: I use it as an exfoliating treatment about 20 minutes before washing my hair when I want to remove product buildup and give my scalp a thorough cleansing. What I really like is that it’s a single bottle that can be used for so many different areas. And 7% glycolic acid is enough for me to actually notice a difference without needing to use it every day. Love Sticky Dates? Then I think you'll like this one 🤎
I can imagine that the Vanilla Fudge scent is way too sweet for some, but for me, it's absolutely wonderful. I love Lush Sticky Dates, and for me, this shower mousse immediately brings that to mind. The difference is that here I get that feeling in a shower mousse that costs significantly less. The mousse itself has a lovely, creamy texture that turns into a soft foam when it comes into contact with water. I also think it works great when I shave my legs; it provides a nice glide and feels soft on the skin. Shiny hair, but is it the product or the blow-dry?
I won the Lernberger Stafsing Smoothing Silk Coat in a contest at Lyko and have now used it for a couple of weeks to really form an opinion. For me, it scores 3/5. It's a nice product, but I wouldn't call it a miracle product. The result is quite sensitive to how the rest of the blow-drying and styling is done. What I really like is that it combines leave-in and heat protection, so I can skip two separate products before blow-drying and styling. It is also intended to provide heat protection up to 200 °C. But when I compare it to my usual routine with separate leave-in + heat protection, I don't think the result is either better or worse. Too little pigment, too much shimmer
I was actually a bit disappointed with this one. As a blush, it gets 2/5 from me. It has way too little pigment and at the same time quite a lot of shimmer. When I try to build up more color, the result easily becomes cakey, instead of the nice, soft blush effect I want. However, it’s incredibly pretty to look at, and the packaging really feels luxurious. I also think it works well as a little extra glow on top of a more pigmented blush. But on its own, unfortunately, it doesn’t work at all for me.
