#Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate Leave-in Treatment (The Balm) ✨️ This is my absolute favorite in the series so far! I have tested the balm thoroughly and am super satisfied. It doesn’t weigh the hair down but tames flyaways and gives a lovely finish. It smells just as fresh as the rest of the series, and it’s a big plus that it provides heat protection up to 230°. I will definitely continue to use this to keep my hair shiny and strong! Anti-frizz effect and the ends look much healthier! It also works well on extensions, which is not a given. The first thing I noticed is the fresh and pleasant scent that gives a real spa feeling in the shower. I always prefer fresh, clean scents over heavy and sweet ones. The consistency is rich, and it feels very gentle on the scalp. Even though I currently have some extensions for volume, I notice that my own hair strands peeking through feel clean and soft without becoming dry. I have been using the Acidic Bonding Concentrate series for about two weeks now, and I am truly impressed with the results. My hair was quite tired, damaged, and lacked both shine and life before. It felt dry and was hard to make look truly healthy, no matter what products I used. But already after a few uses, I started to notice a difference, and now after two weeks, my hair feels transformed. It has become noticeably stronger, softer, and much shinier. Above all, it feels healthier deep down, not just superficially “soft.” It looks more well-cared-for and is much easier to style. I also feel it is less brittle and more resilient. I am actually pleasantly surprised by how much effect the products have had in such a short time. It’s rare that I notice such a clear difference so quickly. Maybelline BODY Waterproof Mascara x Smartson
First of all, how stylish the design is 🤩🩶 A solid tube that fits the name 💪✨. I have somewhat shorter and straight lashes without an eyelash curler. Therefore, I have used an eyelash curler. USAGE: The brush is large and flexible. The bristles are spaced a bit apart. Easy to apply color and build up. Separates well. But a bit too much. My lashes look fewer but thicker. Easy to build volume, lift, and length. But after a few layers, it clumps at the tips of the lashes. DURABILITY: I find that the lashes stay put during the day, maybe lose a bit of shape. Hardly any smudging. However, I do need powder around the eyes for best durability – with more dewy oil-based makeup or makeup-free days, it can smudge a bit. WATERPROOF? 🤔 The mascara behaves a bit like a 38°C-degree/tubing mascara: I can actually remove it with warm water on a pad and dab a few times, it then comes off in small crumbs. This is a cleanser that makes the skin feel really clean without the skin feeling dry afterwards. My husband has now tried this product for a while and is very satisfied. He uses it both morning and evening and still feels that the skin stays moisturized afterwards. This was something my husband was skeptical about using since he had only washed his face with water before because previous tests with other cleanser products dried out the face instead. When my husband got this product home, he felt unsure about using it, but after trying it for a while, he feels that the serum reduces his pores, which I can also seem to see. A soap my husband appreciates! He has used it before as well, after lathering up and rinsing off he feels refreshed and fresh. This face cream is something my husband has appreciated in combination with cleansers from the same series. He feels that his skin stays moisturized for a long time and that he feels more awake and fresh with this cream. Best deodorant!
This is the only deodorant my husband wants to use, he has been using the product for a long time even before the test and he is incredibly satisfied with this deodorant! It smells incredibly good and he feels fresh all day. Previously, he thought other deodorants were too sticky on clothes, which he doesn't see now. He also feels that this deodorant moisturizes the armpit instead of drying it out, which also feels better. Maybelline Cloudtopia Cheek & Lip Mousse x Smartson
8 Enchanted Mauve looks cool-neutral rosy pink on my fair skin 💗. Very pigmented but easy to apply evenly and blend out on the cheeks. Best application when I put the product on the back of my hand and pick it up from there with a firmer brush (like for liquid products), then dab it onto the cheeks. Really nice. Matte finish. A bit nostalgic too, the mousse reminds me of mousse foundation I used before. Creamy and fluffy soft ☁️. Stays well with powder and setting spray, but has melted away a bit patchy after 5 hours. Scent: No perfume but smells lightly like the pigments I use for art (not strong or disturbing, I don’t notice the scent on the skin). 🎨 Lips / eyes: Didn’t like this on the lips. Feels more like a light tint (not fully covering), drier finish and it settles a bit unevenly there / pigment sticks to dry flakes. Wear: after 2.5 hours + food and drink, lips still have a slight pink tone, but as eyeshadow almost gone and has settled into creases. Maybelline BB Cream SPF50 x Smartson
Tested for a few weeks in different ways. Shade 30 looks more yellow at first, but fits okay for my neutral light facial skin, maybe a shade darker 🌞. Skin type: combination and surface dry that can get a bit shinier towards the end of the day. Usually use separate SPF and CC Cream from Lumene which I like. This BB Cream feels like a moisturizing hybrid of skincare, SPF, and foundation. Rich texture, easy to blend, but doesn’t fully cover my pimples. The finish is nicely dewy but feels sticky – doesn’t fully dry. With a lot of powder it easily gets cakey in some areas, without powder the coverage melts away after a few hours, so it’s a balancing act. Scent: Don’t see perfume in the ingredient list, but I still experience a stronger scent (unfortunately in a stinging way). There’s also something in the product that irritates my eyes/nose if I have it close, so both run... Nice finish, but hard to use as SPF for me over the whole face (can’t have it near eyes/nose). This leave-in treatment was a big disappointment for me. The consistency is very light and thin, which initially felt positive, but unfortunately it gave no noticeable effect. I experienced no improvement in hydration or protection for my hair, despite regular use for over two weeks. On the contrary, my ends felt drier and more damaged than before, which was unexpected. The product didn’t seem to provide any nourishment or strength at all. It’s easy to apply and doesn’t weigh the hair down, but the result was completely absent. I have been using this shampoo for over two weeks and unfortunately am not satisfied with the results. Even though I followed the instructions, my hair doesn’t feel properly clean after washing. It lacks that fresh, clean feeling you expect from a shampoo, and my hair also gets greasy already the next day. The consistency is okay and it lathers as it should, but the effect doesn’t live up to expectations. The only positive thing I can say is that the scent is quite nice and fresh. I have now tested this conditioner for 14 days (about 7 washes). The consistency is very creamy and thick, and feels very nice to massage into the hair, but I find that I need to use a lot of product to cover my long hair. It also smells very good. The downside is that after showering and when the hair is dry, I find my ends dry, rough, and frizzy, and what has saved it is their "Leave-in treatment" in the same series. If you buy the whole series, it works well on my hair, but I wouldn’t buy just the conditioner. However, I have used the products for too short a time to be able to judge if it has strengthened my hair in the long run.
