I got to test the product through Smartson and have applied it every morning for 14 days before makeup. It works excellently as a light day cream with high sun protection. The consistency is extremely light and fluid, which makes it very economical. A small amount goes a long way, which means the packaging lasts a long time. The best part is how quickly and smoothly it absorbs into the skin. It doesn’t sit on top like a layer, but feels like it melts in and becomes one with the skin. I have used the La Roche-Posay Pure Vitamin C12 Serum every morning for 14 days as a test pilot via Smartson, and I am really satisfied with the results. Already after a few days of use, I started to notice a difference in my skin's radiance – it looked healthier, clearer, and more alive. I am 31 years old and have started to see my first signs of aging, mainly around the eyes and mouth, and I felt that the fine lines there became less prominent during the testing period. The serum has a pleasant consistency that feels luxurious to apply. It absorbs quickly into the skin and leaves no sticky surface, which is perfect in the morning before makeup or other products. The pipette is also worth mentioning – it makes it easy to get the right amount without any waste, which I really appreciate. I have very dry skin and experienced no irritation at all from this serum. On the contrary, my skin felt hydrated and soft! I used this serum in the morning and the Mela B3 serum in the evening as part of the test. Overall, I am very positive about C12 and would absolutely consider using it again! I have included a before and after picture that I think shows an increased radiance in my skin. Note that I have hormonal pimples in the after picture, so nothing caused by the product itself - if anything, I feel that the number of pimples I got during this time in my cycle is milder than it usually is. This tells me that the product does not disturb the skin barrier at all and is also suitable for sensitive skin. La Roche-Posay Mela B3 Serum
I tested the La Roche-Posay Mela B3 Serum for 14 days as a test pilot via Smartson, and it has been an interesting experience. First of all, I want to highlight the pipette – it is really good and dispenses just the right amount without any waste. The serum has a light and pleasant consistency that quickly absorbs into the skin, making the evening routine simple and smooth. I have hormonal acne, and during the testing period, I felt that my skin became more balanced. I also experienced that my skin felt hydrated and calm when I woke up, which was a big plus for me as I have dry skin. It is a serum that works really well for sensitive skin, and I had no irritation at all. But even though I think the product worked steadily, I wasn't completely impressed considering the price range. The result was about what I expected from a serum – neither more nor less. No “wow” moment, but a safe and gentle product that does its job. I tested the product in the evening and then followed up the next morning with the Pure Vitamin C12 serum from the same brand, which I felt had more effect when it comes to radiance and reducing fine lines.
