Ahhh, I finally picked up my package, and this is pure joy! ✨💖 Let’s talk refills first – I bought a refill of Dove shower gel, this time I’m trying it in rose scent (mmm, luxury in the shower), plus 2 Dove soap bars – a classic I will never swap out. Oooog of course, my holy grail of sunscreens: La Roche-Posay Anthelios SPF 50! Fragrance-free, super light on the skin and PERFECT for acne-prone skin. No unnecessary grease or breakouts here, thanks!☀️ But now to the fun part – new goodies to play with!! 💄 Make Up Store Foundation – Soft Touch Haven’t heard much about this, but I need to see how it feels on the skin. Promises a natural, soft finish – maybe my new fave? 🌟 Unleashia Glitterpedia Eyeshadow Palette OMG, where has this been my whole life?! As a true glitter junkie, this is the dream! K-Beauty makes everything better, so I have high expectations for pigment and shine. I chose All of brown. Perfect for anyone wanting super good coverage - everything from redness to blemishes. Mattifying but not as matte as I first thought, as it also works really well on my dry cheeks (I have an oily T-zone) - so I would rather say it has a matte glow or satin finish simply! It doesn't give any dull uniform "mask-feel" but the skin just feels smoother and nicer - like a magic wand 💫 Great and simple tube with a thin tip. Creamy and easy to distribute evenly. I started with a brush and have also tried a damp sponge, but best for me is simply my hands ✋🏻 I take a large pea-sized amount and work it in between my hands, and then I swipe/tap it onto my face. The amount determines how covering it gets. Stays well throughout the day, but I do have glasses that always mess things up a bit - but nothing a little powder can't fix! For reference, I just make it with a 9.5. I will also include my swatches that I have already shown you, so all info is gathered here. I obviously miss several shades so that everyone who wants can experience it. Full marks for this fragrance-free, full-coverage foundation - that doesn't clog and is suitable for sensitive skin! Unfortunately, they don’t have many shades to choose from, so finding the perfect tone is hard. I would have preferred a shade lighter than 9.5 for my own part 🙏 Otherwise, you can return it if you think you got the wrong one, but everyone looks a bit darker on my white arm. For all of you who have also wondered how the different shades differ in LRP's Toleriane foundation, I now have them all to compare. Creamy and matte foundation that is easy to apply both with a brush and with your hands. Holds up well throughout the day - I have typical combination skin with an oily T-zone and dry, sensitive cheeks. I’ve had this bottle at home for a really long time, and honestly, I didn’t really get the point of it. I sprayed it a little here and there on my face but didn’t notice any direct difference. Until now... By chance, I started using it in a new way, and I noticed how incredibly much better my makeup stayed throughout the day. I have very oily skin, which is oily (😆) problematic. So what I do now is simply this: I do my usual face routine in the morning, finish with a layer of this. Let it dry in a little, and then I start with the makeup! That’s it! I don’t know what kind of magic it is, because NOTHING reacts on my oily skin, but here I notice a significant difference. You should try it too! Plus, the bottle lasts exactly as long as possible!! The mist it sprays out is super nice and cooling, so plus for that too.
