A cream that delivers results💞
I have now tested this face cream Hyalu B5 from La Roche Posay, which is suitable for all skin types, for a few weeks as a Lykoinfluencer, and here are my experiences and thoughts in this review! A bit about my skin type: Face: Normal/combination, mature, large pores especially in the T-zone, great need for hydration, occasional fine lines and sensitive! Occasional pigmentation! The cream is stored in a beautiful blue glass jar! Very appealing and fresh look! I find the cream to have a light consistency! The results are very positive, the cream has maintained my fine lines and I feel my skin is more tightened and hydrates as desired! I have applied the cream to my face, neck, and décolletage after cleansing and booster serum! I am very satisfied with the cream, but I can't stand the scent, even though it is fresh, unfortunately, this takes down one star! You have to rock your pale skin as best as you can, and today I'm testing the LH cosmetics infinity filter powder, which actually feels a bit like a filter when I look in the mirror. It’s definitely different in different lighting, but in my makeup mirror, my pores around my nose and cheeks become significantly less prominent when I apply a bit of this. I have used this from #larocheposay and #influtester and have really liked it! It is incredibly moisturizing, soft, oily in consistency but light on the skin. It sinks in and provides moisture without leaving a feeling on the skin. It has a pretty strong scent which doesn’t bother me. I think it smells fresh and clean. ✨ It comes in a glass bottle which feels luxurious, but a bit scary to travel with in case it breaks. I saw that you can buy a refill for this so you save your glass jar, which is a plus! I've been using this for a few weeks now, and unfortunately, it hasn't suited my skin. I have combination and dehydrated skin that likes a bit thicker creams💓 It absorbs quickly into the skin, but I often find that it "pills" no matter what toners and serums I have underneath. Lovely thick, but very spreadable
Lovely rich, but at the same time very absorbent and spreadable cream. Leaves the skin feeling immediately soft and hydrated. Easy to dispense since it starts off white so you can see where you've applied it, but melts quickly into the skin to become clear. Foundation glides on really smoothly over this, but it doesn't work with all foundation products, so you have to test a bit to see which ones work and which ones don't. The scent of the product reminds me of the dentist... It smells for some reason like when you go to the dentist. It's not bad, but a funny combination. Price-wise, the product is a bit on the expensive side, but it makes up for it with its economy. Overall, I give the product 4/5. A little about me first; I have dry and sensitive skin. Especially around the eyes. My evening routine is to wash 2 times, followed by retinol, serum, and a thicker moisturizer. So onto the first impression; Nice glass jar, it holds little for being so big, but nice that you can buy refills for it. I think the mechanism that is supposed to hold the inner jar in place was very loose, but I never experienced it falling out. What I notice when I start to spread this for the first time is that there is an immediately noticeable perfume smell from this, even though the perfume is at the bottom of the ingredient list. It has a light and clinical scent. In my experience, the scent lingered for quite a while after application, I would have preferred not to have any perfume in this at all. The cream is easy to apply. Afterwards, the skin feels well moisturized, but at the same time a little tight. I never really got the feeling that this "melted" into the skin, always left with a feeling of having a thin layer of something on top. The day after the first use, my skin felt the same as when I use my regular moisturizer, so there is no immediate difference when using this. After repeated use of this, I experienced my skin becoming more and more irritated. It started off small and peaked after 1-2 weeks of regular use. The last time I used this, my whole face felt like it was on fire, honestly. I have had the same skincare routine for several years now. Often it goes well to introduce new products to my skin, but never has my skin reacted so strongly as it did with this. Even after I stopped using this, it took several days for my skin to return to normal. As soon as I opened it and smelled the fresh scent, I quickly realized that this was a cream for me. I feel that my skin is full of moisture and I feel super fresh after applying it. The cream absorbs quickly into the skin and lasts for me all day. It says that this cream is supposed to reduce wrinkles, but I haven't experienced that yet. A bit about my skin: I have normal skin, but now in the winter when it can be super cold at times, this cream keeps moisture all day. A lovely moisturizer
As #lykoinflutester I have tested this moisturizing face cream from the brand #larocheposay. The brand has many other great products, so I was almost sure that this one would be good too. My skin is combination and I often find that my T-zone is oily like a butter package🧈 But outer dryness also occurs, especially now during winter❄️ Sometimes I even get a few small pimples here and there, but the pimples can also sometimes arise from certain products. But I experience no pimples from this cream🥳 Nice and luxurious packaging in the form of a jar that you can buy refills for. Which is good for both the environment and the wallet, who doesn't like that🥰 The cream itself is quite thick and rich but a perfect cream now for winter. The skin gets deeply moisturized and looks glowing and nice. I have also read some reviews that say it has removed fine lines, I haven't noticed that but it could certainly be true. I, as a 26-year-old, may not have that many fine lines yet😇 But it absolutely does what it promises! What brings down the rating in my case is actually the scent. I find it a bit too strong when you are quite sensitive like I am. But I would say that it is nice and quite typical "cream" scent. I tried this #larocheposay cream for a few weeks and here’s my review. Right now, it’s really cold in Finland, and the skin on my face dries out very easily! Therefore, I needed a particularly moisturizing cream. A few words about the packaging: the jar is beautiful and feels luxurious, but honestly, there’s way too much glass and packaging compared to the amount of product. The jar is heavy and takes up space, so that’s a minus... However! The content itself gets good points from me. The cream spread well, felt light but was also very moisturizing, and it smelled wonderful in my opinion. My facial skin felt really well-hydrated after using this! The product is said to be good for wrinkles, etc., but since I’m 28 years old and have only used this for a couple of weeks, I can’t comment on whether it helps with that. Did not suit me
Aesthetically pleasing container, but there is relatively little product in relation to the size of the jar. A clear plus is that there are refills available, which makes it possible to make a bit more environmentally friendly choices🌱 I have used the cream for a couple of weeks, both alone and in combination with other products. Unfortunately, it has not become a new favorite. The consistency is good – it is easy to spread and absorbs quickly into the skin. Still, I feel that my skin feels tight after use, and therefore I simply don't think this is a cream that suits my skin right now🙈 It may also have to do with the season and weather, as my skin feels more sensitive than usual and reacts more easily to new products. Crumbles on my face
SKIN TYPE FOR REFERENCE: Dry, sensitive/damaged skin barrier temporarily. I love most things from la roche posay, and at first application, I felt the same for this cream. It feels gentle, oily, and fragrance-free, which is exactly what my skin needs. I feel that it sinks in, but it also leaves a film on the skin that can be peeled off, which means I can't use it during the day. (It's in the video, what I mean) However, I have used it in the evening, and I wake up with a hydrated face, which I appreciate! It says it should reduce wrinkles and fine lines, which I haven't noticed after a few weeks of use. Maybe I would have gotten a clearer result if I could have used it both in the morning and evening. Very unfortunate, because I really appreciated the product itself right at application. Power Pack and Skin Beautifier
I was excited about the product as soon as I got it for testing. My experience with #larocheposay products is that if you need reliable and good quality, it's worth getting. ☺️ I have aging, surface-dry combination skin. Unfortunately, this cream did not work in daily use, or at least not under makeup, as the foundation started to roll after application. Instead, it has been extremely good for winter use and evening use. The consistency is clearly thicker and very effectively moisturizing, and the skin feels nourished and soft for a long time. The manufacturer's promised up to 72 hours of hydration seems credible for me, as I did not feel the need to apply more cream in the morning - the skin was still in good condition after the night. Hydrated, elastic, and vibrant. I also noticed in longer use that I did not miss foundation on my skin. Hydrated skin is, in my opinion, very beautiful, and this was achieved here - even very quickly. I also appreciate the product's sustainable development and economic aspect. There is a refill pack available for the cream, which reduces packaging waste and makes the product more sensible in the long run. A new full-size jar is generally clearly more expensive than the refill, so there is concrete savings on the next purchases. The product is a bit on the expensive side for my budget, so I don't buy it often. Now it is on sale, so it's worth checking out. Even though the product did not work under makeup, the very effective hydration, good winter use, and the price advantage of the refill pack easily raise the overall rating to 4/5 stars. This is an excellent choice for a night cream and for the cold season, especially if the skin needs intense hydration. Glass skin set definitely recommended! Where's the WOW feeling?
Maybe I raised my expectations too high because I fell off really quickly. Let's start with the jar: the large size of the jar is really misleading and gives a distorted picture of the product's actual amount. I appreciate, however, that I think I could buy a refill pack. The product itself smells really strong, I'm not sensitive to scents, but this was really intense. The consistency was greasy, but it absorbed into the skin really quickly. Although my skin felt soft after use, I don't feel that this cream moisturized enough because my skin felt dry in the mornings. So maybe this is more of a wrinkle cream? The plumping effect was experienced in my eyes in the morning when I hadn't read the instructions closely enough and the cream had gotten into the area around my eyes. I looked like I had been crying for a week😂 So watch out for your eyes! Because of this, my use of the cream became very cautious, so maybe I didn't get the promised results? The instructions say the product is suitable for use in the mornings as well, but since the product didn't work under makeup at all, I only used it in the evenings. Strong scent
In a mission as #lykoinflutester I have tried this face cream from #larocheposay I really like that the cream comes in this nice luxurious jar with refill options. Classic blue with a white lid gives me that expensive cream feeling… The cream is really rich and lovely, I would say more of a fall-winter cream than a year-round cream, at least for me. My skin has become drier over the years and apparently also more sensitive as my skin reacted with pimply rashes on my cheek, so I actually interrupted the test and am now trying to get my skin back in order. The cream smells very strong, which significantly lowers the rating for me. Daily moisturiser and great packaging, but not anti-aging.
My skin is combination skin, so I always pay attention to what product and HOW much of a product I use. When it comes to creams I never overuse and it helps me to avoid too much oil, stickiness in the face. I think it's important to mention that La Roche-Posay Hyalu B5 is a little bit rich in texture, so you shouldn't overuse it, unless you have very dry skin. Benefits I found: - eco-friendly packaging - smooth texture of a cream transfers perfectly to the skin and makes it softer at once - good with other products I used, good for layering. It's overall an ok hyaluronic and B5 (panthenol) cream that can cover the needs of a person with normal to dry skin, but without any WOW-effect. I took 2 stars because it claims to be anti-aging, but I didn't find any active ingredients that will benefit this so much. I’ve been able to try this cream for about a week and I really like it! It comes in a fantastic beautiful blue glass jar. I love that you can buy refills to save the jar. It’s nice and luxurious with a glass jar😍 I have a normal/oily skin type and I can use this cream even though it feels quite greasy. It sinks nicely into the skin without leaving a sticky or greasy film. It is scented, so for those who don’t like fragrance in skincare, it might not be suitable. But I like that my creams smell good and this one smells just right!
